The fact that these " Santa deniers" are on TICTOC tells me all I need to know!!! (preview)

This week Tony almost catches a charge at Costco, and we read one of the most embarrassing instances of Elon dickriding I've ever seen. Also, the heiress to a pharmaceutical fortune unlearns the wokeness foisted upon her by her liberal college with the help of a $300/day cult deprogrammer and a few Prager U videos. Finally, grandparents everywhere lose their mind as GenZ does edgy santa-atheism on TikTok. A lone alpha has the testicular fortitude to set things straight. Help us do the show for only $5/month and get a bonus episode of Minion Death Cult every week--as well as instant access to hundreds of previous bonus episodes. Time Text
Moving on.
Last, final, final story of the night.
A bit of a seasonal, some seasonal tidings for you folks.
Uh, this is courtesy of listener Oscar, who tagged me in this post.
Thank you, Oscar.
Uh, because of Oscar, I was able to find out that Slay what?
Why Gen Z parents are refusing to teach their kids about Santa.
And then, hashtag Santa isn't real is trending on TikTok.
Wow, I just realized that that means that, yeah, Gen Z's having kids.
You know?
Babies having babies.
Gen Z's having kids.
They got to decide whether they want to explain Santa Claus to them or not.
I feel like this is going to just open the door wide for discussion here.
I will say, having the hashtag Santa isn't real, you're overdoing it.
Yeah, it sucks.
You know, kids are on TikTok, right?
I mean, they're probably not like that young, but it seems like you don't have to fucking do the hashtag Santa.
That seems like some atheist YouTuber shit.
Like, hey, let's get the God isn't real hashtag going.
Yeah, it's not, it's just, you just don't need to do it.
Like, you know, if you really believe in that, then why are you thinking about Santa Claus at all?
Just move on.
Right, yeah, wow.
Somebody's living rent-free in the North Pole right here.
Yeah, yeah.
I don't know.
We've talked about this.
I'm a big proponent of Santa Claus.
I think Santa Claus is great.
I'm actually at a weird point right now where I kind of haven't brought it up because I just don't know where she's at.
You don't want to look stupid in front of your daughter.
Basically.
Basically.
Because I've been surprised with some things.
Because, you know, she is still only nine.
So there are some things.
I also think she's kind of smart enough to be like, I kind of got to do the Santa believing, because if we acknowledge it, that's just bad business, you know?
Yeah.
She's right in that sense.
But I go all in on Santa Claus because like my theory on that, we've talked about it before but it's been a while, my theory on Santa Claus is go all in on Santa Claus because it makes not believing in Jesus easier.
Yep.
I forgot that was your take.
That's a good take.
And you know what?
Wouldn't you know it?
People in these comments have exactly the opposite take.
So funny.
I love that.
Yeah, let's just go to it right now.
Nikki says, so this like pissed so many people off.
I just got to say that's the general reaction.
People are more upset about this than they've ever been.
Just some TikTok teen, TikTok 20 somethings.
You know, that they'll never meet in real life.
They'll never even see a single one of these videos.
Like, it will never interact with their lives whatsoever.
And yet, they're the most mad they've ever been about something.
Uh, in the comment section, you know, on Fox News and Facebook.
And, um, but yeah, there's reasons for believing in Santa.
There's reasons for instilling the idea of Santa in your kids.
Like Nikki says, the faith children have in Santa coming Christmas morning sets an example for those of us that are adults and children of God.
We should have that same faith every day.
I wished everyone could see the evil behind it.
So I'll just stop right there.
You're, like, you're intentionally comparing your religion to something we lie to children about in order to get them to behave themselves?
That's so funny.
Also, what a weird expectation.
I wouldn't touch it.
I wouldn't touch it, personally.
Yeah.
Part of the reason why my theory, I think, works is because the thing is, for her whole life, she's opened up multiple boxes and gifts that are signed from Santa with unique wrapping paper that I don't have.
Yeah, surely.
You know, and it's a tangible thing, you know, she still plays with the toys today.
You know, and then the thing is, one day, one day, like, like, okay, so I got the toys.
Uh, why, why is, why is mom dead?
Why did mom die though?
Like, I asked, I asked, I was really good.
I was like a really good, I was really good that year.
Um, I, I wrote the letter in advance.
Uh, you know, cause we caught it early on.
Why didn't... That's way... That would have been way cooler than some fucking K'nex.
I don't know why I said K'nex, but that's... Maybe I was, uh... Maybe I went back to my childhood there.
But, you know, it's like... That's not how that works.
That's a... It's gonna fuck him up.
Man, it's like... It's the same thing!
You don't want to bring attention to the fact that it's a very similar thing.
I'm not saying God is as fake as Santa Claus or whatever.
I just don't believe in him.
Okay?
And if I did believe in God at one point, and while I didn't believe in Santa, and I would say, no, that's a trick.
That one's a trick.
This one's real.
That was exactly... yeah.
Okay, let me read from this story.
This is on the Fox News website, though.
But when you open it, it just reads like it's news.
And so, the tone of this article totally threw me through a loop when I first read it.
Gen Z parents refusing to teach their kids about Santa claim it's, quote, traumatizing.
The hashtag quote, or the hashtag, Santa isn't real is trending on TikTok, as Gen Z parents say they don't want to lie to their kids about Santa.
And a sign of how screwed we are as a society, some, and that was like, one of the first, I was like, what?
Wait.
Yeah.
What?
Whoa.
This person doesn't play by the rules.
And a sign of house.
Harsh talk.
They have a video too, of Greg Gutfeld, right?
Like prominently.
And, I thought this was a great gut-filled piece.
I was like, maybe that's why it sounds so stu- like trying so hard to be funny.
In a sign of how screwed we are as a society, some Gen Z parents are refusing to allow their children to believe in Santa Claus.
That's a great way to put it.
Refusing to allow their children to believe in Santa Claus.
