Hey, so just a note up top about this episode.
I wasn't going to release it because of how unlistenable Tony's track is, frankly.
This episode was also pretty personal to me.
We talk a lot about working class issues, Teamster issues in this episode.
Uh, and we also talk about, uh, you know, workers and their sort of precarious situation and the, uh, what that can result in, how, how, how that can manifest itself in society.
And, uh, with, with two stories here, I think it's good.
I think it's a pretty good episode and I'm glad that, uh, I was able to get what I could out of it.
and then Scott last comment says fuck your gender neutral shit you're a boy by birth or a girl by birth space dot dot dot dot dot dot space how you choose to live it after that's your own choice brotherhood don't mean a female or what you choose to call yourself i'll use uh it it's more of a pact space dot dot dot dot dot dot dot
People who stand behind each other, quote, cough your equal rights, space, dot, dot, dot, dot, dot, dot, dot, dot.
The brother could mean just that.
You're a girl.
Yes, you're a boy.
He's double space.
What to use?
Dot, dot, dot, dot.
If we're fam, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, I, I, Lee.
Quote, us all working for Brown.
Period.
Cursing emoji.
You absolutely understand.
You just added something else.
And this is another example of how much we can learn from Juggalos.
Because who's more family than that?
And who's more inclusive than that?
Uh, I think we can learn a lot from Scott, but mostly just by how, like, utterly confused Scott is.
Like, I don't... Yep, yep.
Like, so much, like... I understand the first part.
Fuck your gender-neutral shit, you're a boy by birth or a girl by birth.
I understand what Scott means by that, and indirectly, like, in what way Scott is confused.
That's like illuminating to me.
We're not gender neutral here, okay?
Right?
Gender exists.
We're not gender neutral.
Everyone is what they are.
If they are what they tell you they are, and you respect everyone, no one's gender neutral.
Being gender neutral in times of crisis is an act of violence in and of itself.
Like, how dare you, how dare you assume that the Teamsters is a gender-neutral organization?
Like, I'm not gender-neutral.
This is a pact!
I'm not gender-neutral.
I've worked with so many guys.
Like, there's so many men here, okay?
For you to say that it's gender-neutral is absurd.
Listen, I look around and I see a lot of fucking dudes.
So what, you didn't tell me this is true.
Like, they think gender... I really love that POV.
They think gender-neutral means non-binary.
Like, which it kind of does, depending on context.
Yeah, yeah.
You know?
It's challenging.
You know, the world is changing.
Like, people don't understand what's happening, you know?
And they're being directly manipulated by powers that be.
Yeah, I love it.
I love it.
I love it.
It's so close.
Okay, well, I think it's a good idea.
I don't know how big of a deal it is.
I think it would be cool to change the IBT to, you know, the International Genderless Beings of Teamsters.
I think that would be cool.
I support that idea.
Moving on, a little frustrating to see, you know, so many of your Teamster brethren interacting so negatively, you know, about the idea of being more inclusive or less like gender binary with the terminology of the union.
So I feel like, you know, let's end this episode with a more uplifting story.
A little bit of a palate cleanser, shall we?
Yeah, so I'm reading from the Orlando Sentinel here.
Duncan employee fatally punched customer 77 after racial slur.
What I'd like to say here, it's a shame that one punch man is not part of a union.
I think if he was, this story wouldn't come out the way it did.
This is in Tampa Bay, so some good news out of Florida for once.
Finally!
Finally!
Police said a Dunkin Store employee fatally punched...
A 77 year old customer in Florida after the employee said the man repeatedly used a racial slur against him.
The victim, a man who police did not name, was punched May 4th and died.
I'm sorry!
Let's try it, let's try it, that's cool.
The punching occurred on May 4th.
Huh?
Punch to death.
Wow, that must have taken some time.
You're talking about the punching.
Let me just punch punch to death.
Wow.
That must've taken some time.
No, just one.
The victim, a man who police did not name was punched May 4th and died Friday.
That led to a manslaughter charge against 27-year-old Corey Pujols, who worked at the store.
Pujols told police that the man was quote "extremely rude the day of the punch" Like I'm sorry okay let me say the item Like, I don't think this... I've heard this before.
Like, hearing you read it, dude, it just... I love it so much.
I'm sorry.
Like, okay, let me say, I'm not like... I wish the guy hadn't died, right?
Totally.
For several reasons.
Totally.
But... Is not the dream of the modern American to, like, kill a customer?
Your fist.
Right?
With one punch.
