All right, I've got an update for you on our deep research AI engine, brightanswers.ai.
I'm Mike Adams, an AI developer and the builder of this site.
And we've got some upgrades and also some new features to mention, but there's also a requirement now.
If you want to have the deepest research and the longest answers and the most sources used in researching your answer, then you need to use a token.
I'll tell you about the tokens.
It's the same as the book tokens for brightlearn.ai, except on brightanswers.ai, one token can be used 10 times.
So one token gives you 10 deep research questions and answers.
There's also a free tier that's available to everyone, no cost, obviously.
And it's still very, very good.
It's still our best AI engine, and it researches all of our articles, which includes natural news articles and Mercola and Sayer G's GreenMedInfo and the Truth About Cancer and many other websites, children's health defense, et cetera.
All those articles are available to you or really to your research agents when you put in a prompt.
But if you're using the free tier, you won't be able to search through our book library, which is now over 100,000 books.
And you won't be able to research our science paper library, which is over 300,000 science papers.
It won't research the interviews and spoken word podcast transcripts and things like that.
So free tier gives you shorter answers.
It's limited to just the article data set.
Whereas the token tier, if you use a token, it gives you access to all of our data sources.
It gives you a much longer answer that's more well researched.
It also takes longer to generate.
So the way to do this and the way to get a token is simply go to healthrangerstore.com or bright.shop, which is our new online store.
And there you can trade your loyalty points for tokens.
And I think they're called book tokens or BrightLearn tokens, but they're actually universal.
They're going to be usable across multiple platforms that we have.
It's kind of a, I don't know, our own in-house, not really a currency, but a voucher is a better word for it.
So the same token that you get to generate a book at brightlearn.ai can instead be used at brightanswers.ai 10 times.
And when you use it once, it actually gives you the answer and it tells you, okay, you've used this token one time.
You've got nine more uses on this token.
And then once you use it all 10 times, then that token is used up.

But the reason we needed to do this is because this engine is becoming so popular and it's free.

It's the best AI engine they've ever used.
And the research that was tapping into our curated database, which has tens of millions of pages of documents at this point, and it keeps growing, it was causing extreme performance problems with the research database.
And as we keep adding more and more research documents to it, which I'm doing on a regular basis, eventually we're going to have a million science papers in there this year.
The query times are so slow.
We have to keep adding hardware, CPUs and RAM and disk and everything in order to make that database responsive enough so it doesn't time out.
So as our service was getting more and more popular, more free users were using more and more of the resources of this massive database to the point where it became unsustainable.
So we had to separate then the free tier from the token tier because even though we would love to just make everything free for everybody, reality doesn't work that way.
We have to foot the bills.
So we're going to keep a free tier available that only searches the article database and that makes it workable for us.
So we can continue to offer this free and continue to provide really amazing AI results without breaking the bank, so to speak.
And then for our valued users and our customers of HealthRangerStore.com or Bright.shop, we give you through the tokens, which are actually called Bright tokens, we give you access to the higher end features that are actually very costly for us to serve.
But I think that's a fair trade.

I'm going to be seeing if we can do that using DeepSeek version 4, assuming it launches sometime soon.
