Welcome to today's sermon here at Abundance.Church.
I'm Mike Adams with the Church of Natural Abundance, and we're going to, well, diverge from our really intense recent discussions about the end of the world, Armageddon end days, and so on.
so on.
We're going to talk today about a nutrient, a very important nutrient, one that is often overlooked.
And the reason I'm bringing this up is because I've long had the intention with these sermons, first to cover biblical foods, herbs, oils, you know, all these kinds of things that are in the Bible, but then to cover the nutrients that are in those foods, because these nutrients are, of but then to cover the nutrients that are in those foods, because these nutrients are, of course, created by the mind of God, expressed through
And then when you consume the plants, you are able to take in these nutrients and experience the benefits from them.
And there are a multitude of nutrients that have crossed my radar over the last 25 years as a food scientist, as a writer, as an investigator, a nutritionist, you know, lab analyst, all these things.
And one of the most powerful nutrients that is overlooked in all of this is simply vitamin B3. Now it's called niacin, and this is the focus of today's sermon.
It's called niacin, but there's something you probably did not know about niacin.
It's also called nicotinic acid, or nicotinic acid.
Sounds very similar to nicotine, doesn't it?
Now that's because niacin and nicotine are, in chemical terms, they're called analogs because they have a similar chemical structure.
Not identical, but in many ways similar.
The chemical formula for niacin is C6H5NO2. So that's six carbons, five hydrogens, one nitrogen, and two oxygens.
So if you put these atomic elements together in a certain format, a certain structure, you get niacin, vitamin B3. And, of course, plants do this automatically.
This is part of the miracle of God and Mother Nature, is putting these together for you.
But let's look at nicotine.
Its molecular structure is C10H14N2. So 10 carbons, 14 hydrogens, and 2 nitrogens.
What's interesting about this is that nicotine has a structure that's kind of like two niacins.
If you cut off part of the O2 of a niacin and then you like double up the niacin, you pretty much get nicotine.
So that's why it's called an analog.
And so they have a very similar chemical structure and a similar application in the body.
In fact, niacin, originally it was called nicotinic acid and some people still refer to it as nicotinic acid.
In fact, if you process nicotine with nitric acid, you get vitamin B3. Imagine that.
You get vitamin B3. Now, nicotine and niacin are critical for human health.
I should say niacin is critical for human health, but nicotine, there are also receptors for nicotine throughout the nervous system.
Now, you and I have been lied to over all the years that we've been alive.
We've been told a giant lie.
What have we been told?
We've been told that nicotine is toxic and that it is addictive.
Toxic and addictive, right?
Toxic and addictive.
And we've been told that because of, well, big tobacco and the cigarette companies.
And in the 1990s, the government waged a massive war on big tobacco.
And there were a lot of politics behind this, by the way.
It was the Democrats that ran the war on On big tobacco, and it was the tobacco companies that were mostly supporting, you know, Republicans.
But aside from that, the tobacco companies, they put additives in the cigarettes that made their cigarettes addictive.
So yes, cigarettes are addictive when they are sort of processed cigarettes in the same way that processed food is also addictive.
Processed food is addictive because the processed food companies add addictive ingredients to the foods, such as MSG, for example, to make them addictive.
But natural foods are not addictive.
The same thing is true about nicotine and cigarettes.
So if you just grow tobacco like the Native Americans did, and you roll up the tobacco leaves, you know, you dry them and roll them up, and you smoke...
I'm not suggesting that you do this because smoke is carcinogenic in other ways, but if you were to...
Smoke like in a peace pipe or something, you know, part of a Native American religious or spiritual ritual.
If you were to smoke a peace pipe and inhale nicotine, burn from tobacco plants, is that addictive?
No.
The answer is no.
That is not addictive.
Nicotine is not the addictive chemical compound in processed cigarettes.
What's addictive are the other chemicals that they add to make them addictive.
But nicotine in non-smoking form, nicotine patches, for example, or even nicotine chew, actually has powerful healing properties in the human body.
And I've interviewed Dr. Brian Artis on this, who I think is the modern-day expert on this topic.
And at first, I didn't believe anything he was saying.
I was astonished.
And then I did the research, and I found out that he was right.
You know why people who smoked cigarettes almost never got COVID?
Yeah.
They were never impacted by the spike protein?
Because nicotine blocks spike protein.
Nicotine blocks what mainstream science calls infectious agents or germs or viruses.
Not bacteria, but certain viral patterns are blocked by nicotine.
And nicotine actually protects the nervous system at certain doses.
Now, like a lot of substances, nicotine can be toxic at very high doses.
It is toxic to predators that eat the plants, for example.
Just like caffeine can be very toxic at high, high doses.
But caffeine at low doses stimulates your nervous system.
And a lot of people can't live without it because it gives them clarity in thinking.
It gives them cognition.
It actually helps protect the brain.
And coffee is the number one source of antioxidants for most Americans.
Did you know that?
Drinking coffee.
There are so many antioxidants in coffee.
But back to nicotine.
Nicotine in the proper dosage, which Dr.
Brian Artis uses, I think, three milligrams per day on a patch, like a skin patch that he puts on his skin.
He actually buys patches that are 21 milligrams and he cuts them into seven pieces, each piece being three milligrams, and then he puts the three milligrams on his skin.
I actually tried that for a few days just to see if I noticed any difference and I did not.
But I'm a high-functioning, high-cognition person every day anyway, and I do drink a lot of cacao, chocolate, and other superfoods, so I didn't notice any impact.
But Dr.
Brian Artis swears by it, a lot of other people do as well, and nicotine prevents you from being infected by a lot of infectious agents.
So vitamin B3, nicotinic acid, and nicotine both have positive functions in the human body.
And these are molecules from plants.
These are molecules of God.
Now, isn't it interesting that the entire medical industrial complex tried to teach you that a molecule from God was evil and satanic?
They said nicotine is a poison and that nicotine is addictive.
It's been a lie this entire time.
But they say the same thing about cannabinoids, don't they?
They say CBDA is dangerous and bad and horrible.
And they also say that carbon dioxide is bad and horrible.
We've covered this.
CO2, carbon dioxide, is the single most important molecule for plant life on Earth.
If we did not have CO2, our planet would die.
So, of course, the satanic, demonic forces that are opposed to life on Earth, they're opposed to CO2. So they started a movement called the Climate Change Movement.
And they pushed the EPA and they tried to, you know, I mean, they're building giant machines right now to suck CO2 out of the atmosphere.
They're engaged in terraforming operations to alter atmospheric chemistry in order to murder life on Earth, to shut down the food web.
That's what they are doing.
That's all under climate change.
So, of course, they have identified key molecules that are necessary for human beings to be healthy, for plants to grow, for crops to be produced, for the food supply to function.
And the demonic entities in government, in the FDA, in the CDC, and the EPA are targeting all of these molecules that protect life and produce food and produce natural medicine.
So the molecules that they are targeting, again, carbon dioxide, but also nicotine.
And they've also targeted ivermectin, which is produced by soil microbes.
So it comes from soil, comes from nature, and this has been attacked by the demonic forces.
Why?
Because ivermectin saves lives.
Ivermectin stops the damage from the spike protein bioweapons that have been injected into people and dropped onto people as part of the COVID pandemic.
So remember this.
Anytime that the establishment pushes a molecule, it's probably toxic like fluoride.
Anytime the establishment is opposed to a molecule like ivermectin or like nicotine or carbon dioxide, it's probably a molecule that's very important for life.
This is a universal truth.
If you want to know what's good for you, do the opposite of what the government tells you.
Do the opposite of the FDA, the CDC, the USDA, the EPA. On the other hand, if you're suicidal and want to end your life and you hate yourself and you want to die, then follow the advice of the FDA and the CDC and the EPA and just eat all those pesticides.
I mean, I'm saying this facetiously.
Don't actually do that.
But if you follow the government's advice on molecules, it's a suicide path.
You're part of a suicide cult, a satanic death cult.
Remember, the government says sodium nitrite is good for you in foods.
It causes cancer.
The government says that all these toxic food ingredients, you know, MSG and all the rest, they say they're good for you.
No, they're not.
They're toxic.
But they say, watch out for, you know, turmeric.
Watch out for herbs.
Herbs might be dangerous, you know.
They're panicked because people are rejecting the nonsense of the government, of the FDA, of the EPA, etc.
This is why few Americans now trust the so-called authorities.
The authorities will get you killed.
They're not authorities over reality.
They are servants of a satanic agenda, an anti-human agenda.
They want to achieve human depopulation, so they pretend to be authorities, and then they tell you, don't eat these things that might cure cancer.
Instead, they tell you, take in all these other things that will probably kill you.
That's the goal of government.
That's the goal of government, and that's the goal of the FDA, the goal of the EPA. They are there to approve poisons in the food supply, pesticides and herbicides, to make you die.
They approve gender-bender chemicals to turn your children into, you know, gender-confused transgender victims.
That's called atrazine, by the way.
It's the number two most frequently used herbicide in agriculture, and it's a gender-bender chemical.
So this is what you need to understand when it comes to vitamins and nutrition.
It's critical to take in certain nutrients.
Fortunately, they are found in a lot of foods, but most people buy processed foods that lack these nutrients.
Niacin or vitamin B3 is no exception to that.
So, you know, niacin is supposed to be found in wheat grain, right?
Whole grains, brown rice.
But when it's heavily processed and then you get, you know, bleached, enriched flour, and you're like, what does enriched mean?
Well, bleached, enriched white flour, it means they took everything out of it other than the carbohydrates.
And then they're required by law to slightly put a few nutrients back into it.
That's the enriched part to make sure that, you know, people's eyeballs don't fall out and things like that.
I mean, that's satire, but to make sure that people don't get obvious deficiency diseases like beriberi disease or scurvy or rickets or things like that.
So that's why salt is iodized, because there's so much iodine missing from the food supply.
That people would start to suffer very obvious iodine deficiencies across the population if it wasn't mandated to be put into salt, because everybody eats a little bit of salt, it turns out.
So they iodized the salt.
But they strip the nutrients out of the wheat.
They strip the nutrients out of almost all the processed foods that children eat and that adults eat.
And as a result, most people don't get enough niacin or vitamin B3. And vitamin B3 is so important for your heart health and for your brain health.
In fact, let me just go through a list here of some of the health benefits.
It helps with cholesterol management.
It improves mental health, treats anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and people who are deficient in vitamin B3 are very frequently diagnosed as depressed.
You know, so their doctors, instead of giving them vitamin B3 or healthy foods to eat, they just say, here, take this antidepressant and then keep eating your processed junk food.
Remember, by the way, God created your body, obviously.
I mean, your body is created in the image of God, so God designed your genetic blueprint.
And God created all the plants and the seeds and all the forms of life.
So, of course, God made your body compatible with the plants and the plants that are delicious to eat, the plants that are part of the food supply.
The grains that you want to eat.
You want to eat a piece of bread.
But then mankind comes along and strips God's nutrients out of the food, turning them into bleached, enriched processed bread so that you end up consuming shadow foods.
And that's what I mean when I've used the term shadow foods in previous sermons.
It's that they look like food, but they're a shadow of what they should be because God's molecules have been removed from them.
By the demonic processed food industry and the demonic government that wants you to be malnourished and wants you to be sick and wants you to be diseased because that's how they control you.
They want you to be mentally ill.
So of course they strip niacin out of the foods.
They want you to be on pharmaceuticals.
Then they can control you.
Alright, but continuing.
Benefits of niacin.
It's critical for energy production at a cellular level inside the body.
It's critical for skin health and it helps protect the skin from sun damage.
It even prevents skin cancer.
It helps with blood pressure regulation.
And if you're deficient in niacin, your blood pressure may be artificially too high.
And it might be that all you need is niacin to bring your blood pressure back into a normal range.
So it's huge for your heart health, your cardiovascular health, brain and mental health, cellular health, skin health, blood pressure, all of it.
And niacin is a water-soluble vitamin that is eliminated out of your system very quickly.
It turns your urine yellow.
And frankly, my opinion as a food scientist is that if your urine isn't slightly yellow, you're probably not getting enough niacin.
And doctors like to mock it and say that if you take niacin and then you pee yellow, they're like, oh, you have expensive urine, expensive urine.
Well, niacin pills cost nothing, like a few pennies.
What does chemotherapy cost?
What does the stem cell therapy cost at a doctor's office?
A lot of these drugs from the doctors are $1,000 a month.
What does the weight loss drug cost that you inject into yourself, which is based on venom peptides?
It's $1,000 a month, folks.
So the joke is on people following doctor's advice.
If you want expensive urine, inject yourself with snake venom once a month as a weight loss drug.
Yeah, you'll spend $12,000 a year.
You know how many nutrients and supplements you could buy?
Or how much organic food you could buy for $12,000 a year?
You could eat like a king!
For $12,000 a year.
You know, you spend $1,000 a month wisely, you're going to have really clean organic food and plenty of nutritional supplements.
You can be very healthy.
Or you could spend $12,000 a year injecting yourself with snake venom and living on processed junk foods.
And that's what a lot of Americans choose to do.
And that's a satanic agenda, obviously.
It's an anti-life agenda.
So vitamin B3, niacin, this is something that I take regularly.
And you can get it in various forms.
If you don't like taking pills, you can even get it as gummies, although I'm not convinced that all gummies are good.
I'm not sure they dissolve correctly.
I think it depends on the gummy.
Because we've tried to dissolve gummies in our lab before, and we've had a lot of trouble using even various forms of acid.
Sometimes these gummies just won't freaking dissolve, you know?
It's like, hmm, I think these go right through you, you know?
But...
In any case, some gummies dissolve and some don't, depending on the situation and how much stomach acid you have.
But the best way to get vitamin B3 is, of course, to get it in your natural foods.
You can supplement on top of that if you think that you don't have enough, but getting it from food is the single most important place to get it.
And by the way, if you're looking for vitamin B3 supplements, note that it's called niacinamide or nicotinamide or nicotinic acid or vitamin B3 or niacin.
So those are all essentially the same thing, but the easiest way is just vitamin B3 or niacin.
And that'll get you to the right thing.
Now, in terms of foods, this is important to note.
It's in whole grain wheat, for example, and whole grain brown rice.
It's in nuts.
It's in canned tuna, but unfortunately tuna is often high in mercury.
Niacin is available in avocados, mushrooms, and green peas.
I drink a lot of avocados every day.
But it's also found at very high levels in organ meats, like beef liver, lamb liver.
A lot of people who are into...
Sort of hardcore nutrition or longevity.
They consume a lot of organ meats.
Now, I don't do this, but I've seen people who make liver smoothies and things.
Are you kidding me?
My memory of liver is fishing with my grandmother.
At a pond and putting chopped liver on the fish hooks, you know?
So my memory of liver is like, yuck, nasty.
I'm not putting that in my smoothie.
But liver does contain very high concentrations of certain nutrients.
And some people consume freeze-dried liver or freeze-dried, you know, spleen organs or other organs, thyroid organs and so on.
And I actually think that, nutritionally speaking, there's a lot of merit in that.
I think that it's actually a very good source for some of those nutrients.
And organ meats, that's something that was consumed traditionally by Native Americans and a lot of Native peoples, even to this day is consumed by Native peoples all over the world.
And if you watch animals, they eat them all.
So you know I have a dog that I call the bunny gobbler.
Oh, and by the way, I have another dog that learned from the bunny gobbler to find and dig up small bunnies and gobble them.
So now I have two bunny gobblers.
Yeah, I know.
So sad.
They always find these little tiny bunnies that are like, I don't know, six inches long.
They dig them up out of the little rabbit holes.
And then the original bunny gobbler I have, she just swallows them whole.
She gulps the bunny.
She can also eat a bowl of food in like five seconds.
She's...
I don't know if she went to prison before or what.
She can eat faster than anything I've ever seen, and she's not even a big dog.
She's actually the smallest dog I have, but she can gulp the most food in the most record time.
My point in all of this is that what parts of the rabbit is she eating?
Well, she's eating all of it.
She's eating the fur.
She's eating the brain.
She's eating the liver.
She's eating the heart.
She's eating the spleen.
Obviously, the entire bunny.
Including, you know, just the lips and whatever.
I mean, it's everything, obviously.
But dogs do this.
And if you look at coyotes, if a coyote takes down something like a cow, let's say, or, you know, some other animal like a wild hog or a goat, you know, what are they going to eat?
They're going to eat the organs, man.
They go for the organs first because that's where the nutrition is found.
And then only after the bones are picked clean, then do they crack open the bones and, you know, try to get the bone marrow out and things like that.
But their initial idea is to go for the organs.
So that tells you by observing nature that there's a lot of nutrition in the organs.
Anyway, bottom line is if you want to make a liver smoothie, go for it.
I'm not going to condemn it at all.
It might be very healthy.
That's just not what I'm going to do.
I'm going to do avocados.
So avocados are high and nice and not nearly as high as organ meats, but other things include chicken.
So just poultry is known to be high.
It's added to breakfast cereals and different kinds of breads and so on.
And it's often added to milk.
But the typical American does not get enough vitamin B3.
They do not get it.
And as a result, they end up with all kinds of symptoms.
And I don't know if you can hear my rooster crowing out there, but he likes to come up and participate in the sermons.
So I apologize if he's sounding off too much.
But if you have a vitamin B3 or niacin deficiency, you can have major skin problems.
You can have scaly skin, cracked skin.
The disease of pellagra is a disease of vitamin B3 deficiency, by the way.
So if you're just chronically deficient in vitamin B3, you will have these problems, and they will go away when you start taking vitamin B3. Same thing with scurvy and vitamin C. If you don't have vitamin C, you'll have scurvy.
If you don't have vitamin D, you'll have rickets.
And there are a lot of chronic degenerative diseases that are nothing but nutrient deficiencies.
But the medical establishment doesn't want you to know that because they have a drug for everything.
If they could sell a drug for scurvy and outlaw vitamin C, they would do it.
They would absolutely do it.
The problem is vitamin C is so widely available in foods like grapes and so on that they can't really banish it.
But if Big Pharma could banish vitamins and minerals and then just sell you drugs for all the diseases that crop up as a result, they would absolutely do that.
Imagine the windfall of profit, you know?
That's all they're into.
In fact, you can find a lot of lists that talk about the various diseases or symptoms that are caused by nutrient deficiencies.
And nutrient deficiencies are incredibly common among modern people, mostly because, of course, they're eating a lot of processed food.
But people are short of potassium, calcium, magnesium in terms of minerals and vitamin A and vitamin D and also B vitamins that we've talked about.
There are lots of signs of deficiencies, but there are disease names for severe deficiencies.
For example, if you lack vitamin B1, it's called beriberi.
Did you know that?
And you'll have weight loss and a lot of pain in your limbs and a lot of weakness and sensory perception, things like that.
A pellagra or niacin deficiency, which is what we're focusing on today, results in diarrhea, dermatitis, you know, skin inflammation, dementia.
And many other problems that we'll get to.
A lot of people are deficient in vitamin B12, which causes all kinds of horrific problems, including nerve paralysis, extreme fatigue, dementia, depression.
If you're deficient in vitamin B6, you can have skin disorders, depression, and nervous breakdowns.
There's a lot of nervous breakdowns happening right now.
If you're deficient in vitamin C, of course, you can have bleeding gums and skin spots and swelling in your joints.
Eventually it'll kill you if you don't get vitamin C. But if you look at body systems, like your nails...
Your nails are a really great indicator of your nutritional deficiencies.
If you're deficient in a nutrient, it means you're lacking some molecules from God, literally.
But your nails are just amazing at helping you to identify this.
So if you have white marks in your nails, you're missing calcium and zinc.
If you have really brittle nails, you're missing probably calcium, magnesium, and iodine.
If your cuticles tear very easily, you're missing protein.
If you have spoon-shaped nails, you're missing B12 and possibly iron, and so on.
And there are many examples of this across multiple body systems.
A lot of people also have zinc deficiencies, which is a completely separate sermon, but zinc deficiency can lead to Horrible problems, and it can make you very vulnerable to foreign proteins like spike proteins.
Did you know that zinc deficiency is the number one cause of low birth weight babies, by the way?
Because the mother did not have enough zinc.
Did you know that if you don't have enough zinc, your wounds won't heal?
I mean, not as quickly as they should.
Did you know that if you don't have zinc, your immune system won't function fully?
Yeah.
And yet, many people are deficient in zinc because it's stripped out of the food supply.
And it's not even in the soils.
So, back to niacin, by the way.
Here are some symptoms that you may be deficient in niacin.
If you have cracked and scaly skin, we already covered that, but also diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting.
It's usually a bad day if all that's going on.
Neurological symptoms could include anxiety, poor concentration, fatigue, depression, dementia, and in advanced stages, Trump derangement syndrome.
Oh, no, wait.
Delirium.
That's what it's called.
Delirium.
Concerning your mouth and tongue, if you have a burning sensation in the mouth and you haven't swallowed Tabasco sauce...
You might have a niacin deficiency.
If you have a swollen, bright red tongue, not a good sign.
If you have cracking and inflammation of the lips or inflammation of the mouth, those are all signs of a niacin deficiency.
If you have an enlarged heart or nerve damage, then you could suffer a niacin deficiency.
And ultimately, you can die from niacin deficiency.
And if you're diagnosed with pellagra, which is, again, the name of the disease that is just nitrogen deficiency, if you're diagnosed with pellagra, your doctor might give you either a prescription drug to treat pellagra, which contains vitamin B3 from the pharmacy, or...
You could just go get vitamin B3 in foods and supplements and skip the 5,000% markup.
Yes, that's right.
They have forms of vitamin B3 in prescription drug forms for people who just love, they love to go to the pharmacy, and they love to ask the pharmacist questions.
Do you know people like this?
They're like, do I take it with food or do I not take it with food?
How many hours do I have to, if I eat a meal, do I wait two hours after I eat a meal?
Can I drink water with it or do I not drink water?
Is it a slow release, a fast release?
Can I take it?
What if I miss one?
If I miss one, do I take two?
What do I do?
There's a lot of people that love to have a lot of questions for pharmacists and doctors.
Or you could just eat whole foods, man, and take some vitamin B3 supplements, or even a B-complex supplement is the best way to do it, and don't flip out at the pharmacist.
Why go to the pharmacy?
Why spend all this extra money and go through all this medical nonsense and medical insurance and co-pays and doctor phone calls and doctor visits and waiting at the drive-through, blah, blah, blah, when you could just eat more avocados or eat some organ meats, I don't know.
Find some vitamin B supplements.
And use those as directed on the label.
You don't have to make this overly complicated.
It's just so funny, but some people just love pharmaceuticals.
Like, if you tell them, hey, would you like some niacinamide here or vitamin B3? They're like, no!
That's natural!
There's no evidence for that!
But then you say, here, would you like this prescription drug?
They're like, what is it?
Like, nicotinamicevir.
They're like, yes!
That sounds scientific!
And you give it to them and they might pay $1,000 for it.
And it's just vitamin B3 with a fancy name and some fancy...
You know, patenting alteration of vitamin B3, but they love that.
There are certain people that just absolutely love prescription medications no matter what, and they hate God's molecules.
And you may have noticed those people don't live very long.
I mean, they just don't do very well.
Many of them are already dead after COVID because they lined up to keep taking jabs, but they did not take nutrients.
They did not take zinc or quercetin or vitamin C or vitamin D or anything else.
So a lot of them are just dead.
So I guess you can't ask them questions anymore.
Dead people make very bad witnesses, it turns out.
Now, in wrapping this up, you might think, Well, hey, Mike, if niacin is so important, why isn't it mentioned in the Bible?
Well, it's because, of course, in the Bible, number one, nobody had any ideas of taking things out of the food.
Nobody was creating shadow food in the Bible.
They were eating the whole foods.
They were eating the figs, the pomegranates, you know, the grains, the wheat, and They were whole foods and they were intact.
They weren't shadow foods.
So that's reason number one.
But secondly, the science of modern nutrition didn't even exist until, I don't know, roughly maybe 100 years ago or a little bit more.
And for a long time, I think all the way up into the 1950s and 60s, scientists thought there were only four vitamins.
They did not even know about all the B vitamins.
They didn't know about About all the different minerals that were needed and so on.
They thought there were only four vitamins and that was it.
So in the days of the Bible, the people weren't focused on disassembling everything and compartmentalizing everything into its components.
Things were more holistic.
You know, you would eat the whole fig.
You would eat the whole wheat bread, you know?
It's only a modern thing to dismantle and tear everything apart and break it down and then strip the nutrients out of these foods.
One of the most interesting things or funny things that I've done is when I visit trade shows for nutritional supplements.
I visit trade shows...
And let's take an example here.
Like a trade show, these are usually out in either Vegas or California.
I haven't been in many years.
But when I used to go to these trade shows, you have booths of different companies that are selling different supplements that have all this scientific evidence behind them.
And if you take an apple, so if you just eat an apple a day, what does that do?
It keeps the doctor away.
You just take an apple.
There are no scientific studies about just the apple because you can't patent the apple.
You can't sell an apple as a nutritional supplement.
Even though if you eat the apple, you're eating the apple peel.
You've got the antioxidants in the peel.
You're eating the apple fiber.
So, you know, you're getting special fruit fibers.
You're getting special nutrients, certain types of sugars that have certain types of effects.
And You're getting all that in the apple naturally.
Well, if you go to one of these trade shows, you'll find a company that sells a scientifically studied apple peel powder.
Well, this is just the apple peel.
And this apple peel powder, by the way, reduces inflammation of the joints, which it does.
That's a fact.
There's actually a company, I think we sell one of their products, that sells an apple peel powder naturally.
That is scientifically validated to reduce inflammation.
So there's that company.
And then there's another company that will sell apple fiber powder.
Apple fiber powder.
And it's like scientifically proven to mop up heavy metals and to reduce high cholesterol and this and that and improve transit time with the digestive tract and reduce colon cancer.
They will study all these things.
And what is it?
It's apple fiber.
And then there'll be another company that studies the apple sugars.
And they will sell like freeze-dried, dehydrated apple sugars.
And these sugars are proven to, you know, stabilize blood sugar and stabilize moods and stabilize nerve system function or whatever, this and that.
And you're like, wow, that sounds amazing.
I would love some of those apple special sugars.
There's my rooster again.
I would love some of those very special apple peel molecules, and I would love those apple fiber molecules.
Those are great, and all those scientific studies show how much this can help me.
That's amazing.
Or you could just eat an apple.
You could just eat apples, and you would have all those benefits.
Because you're getting that in the apple.
See?
I mean, now with a lot of fruits like that, apples and pears and so on, most of the nutrients are actually in the peel, it turns out.
And so you absolutely want to eat the peel.
But that means you need to buy organic.
Otherwise, you're poisoning yourself with pesticides.
And by the way, the pesticides are throughout the entire fruit.
A lot of people mistakenly think you can just wash off the pesticides.
Well, they're only sprayed on the outside.
Well, actually they were sprayed on the leaves of the plant, of the tree, and they got absorbed into the leaves and taken into the tree and they became part of the fruit.
So when we test foods for pesticides in our food science lab, we find that the pesticides and the herbicides are all throughout the fruits.
Not just the outside.
So you have to buy organic if you want to avoid the toxic molecules.
But if you really want the best nutrition of the fruits, it's usually in the peel.
Same thing with grapes.
The resveratrol is in the grape peel.
With grapes that have seeds, there's also a lot of nutrition in the seeds, such as proanthocyanidins.
But the resveratrol, which is what red wine and red grapes are really known for nutritionally, it's in the grape peel, the grape skin, in other words.
So that's the most important part to eat.
But did you know that in a lot of Asian cultures, and I know this because, of course, I lived in Taiwan, and I speak a fair amount of Mandarin Chinese, and I've lived among Asian people for a long time, they like to peel everything.
Including grapes, like large grapes, they'll peel them and they'll throw away the peel.
Yes, this is true.
In Chinese culture, if any of you are listening, if you're Chinese or maybe Korean or maybe Japanese do this too, I'm not sure, but the Chinese people that I know, they like to peel everything.
They peel pears, they peel peaches, they peel apples, they peel and they throw away all the peel.
And you know why?
I found out why.
It's because in Asia, traditionally, over the past few generations, they use the most toxic herbicides and DDT and all kinds of chemicals on all the fruit.
They sprayed the fruit like crazy.
And the peeling of the fruit, which was always the last part sprayed, was the most toxic part.
And so the fruit peels became known by Asian people as causing sickness.
Yeah, because they were getting just massive doses of pesticides and herbicides, DDT. They used to run and play in the DDT clouds.
I mean, I know people who, when they grew up in Taiwan, that when they were children, we're talking about like in the 1950s and 60s, There would be widespread outbreaks of head lice.
Yeah, head lice.
And you know how you treated head lice in Taiwan in the 1950s?
You know what you did?
You doused a child's head with DDT, and then you put a shower cap over their head to seal it in, and you made them sit in the sun for a couple of hours to bake the DDT into the hair and the scalp.
That's how they got rid of head lice.
And then, you know, after the head lice was all dead, and then they could wash their hair.
But by that time, of course, the DDT had gone all into their skin and into their blood supply and into their brain and everything else.
But that's how you treated head lice in Taiwan.
In America, in the 40s and 50s and probably even the 60s, children used to run and play behind the DDT fog trucks.
Oh, the fog trucks are here.
Yay!
And they would run behind the fog and they would breathe it in and they would get it all over themselves.
So there are a lot of cultures that still will peel fruits, even if it's organic, because that's what they're used to.
And so they lack the nutrition.
They're just eating the sugary part, the flesh of the fruit.
They're lacking the peel.
So by the way, if you're going to buy any part of a fruit that has the most nutrition, it's going to be the peel.
Blueberry peels, apple peels, grape peels, you know, all of that, but make sure it's organic.
However, the best way to get this is to eat whole fruit.
Organic.
And if you do that and you eat whole wheat that's also organic and you eat all these other foods, you probably won't be vitamin B3 deficient.
But then again, we live in a society where we have so many shadow foods that are artificially processed and stripped of all their nutrients that vitamin B3 deficiency is incredibly common.
And thus, it's probably wise to supplement at some reasonable level.
Now, also, just to wrap this up, If you were to ask me, what are some of the most amazing molecules from God that should be mentioned in the Bible if anybody knew about them at the time?
These would be named.
There would be psalms about these molecules if King David knew how important they were.
It would be things like vitamin D, zinc, Resveratrol, astaxanthin, which is incredible in terms of a fat-soluble anti-inflammatory carotenoid.
It's just amazing.
Of course, vitamin C, but we would also mention, I think, nicotine and various cannabinoids, but also curcumin from turmeric, which is just extraordinary.
And also sulforaphane from cruciferous vegetables.
But these are some of the main ones that come to mind.
Oh, anthocyanins, those are the color pigments in fruits and in eggplant.
And eggplants also contain, by the way, nicotine.
So if you want a natural source of nicotine and anthocyanins, eat eggplant.
George Carlin used to joke, what is it, an egg or a plant?
It's a plant.
And it's a plant that's loaded with nutrition, it turns out, and it's in the skin.
It's in the purple skin of the eggplant.
All the gooey center part is not that impressive in terms of nutrients.
It's the skin.
So if you were to just eat eggplant skins all day, you would actually get a lot of nutrition from that.
You'd have loads of anthocyanins.
I don't know if anybody sells a supplement that's like eggplant skin, but if they did, that would be high nutrient density.
But anthocyanins are very, very powerful, and those come from things like aronia berries and blueberries, blackberries.
Resveratrol, like I mentioned, and red grapes.
And it also comes from Japanese knotweed.
And vitamin D, which your body makes itself upon exposure to sunlight, but you can also find vitamin D in certain mushrooms.
And these other nutrients I've mentioned.
But don't forget the basics, like the B vitamins, because they are molecules from God.
God's design puts these in the foods for you because you need them.
And so by eating these foods, you take them in and you make these part of your cells, your body, and they help you stay healthy.
And if in doubt, if you don't know if you're getting enough from your food, if your urine isn't at least a little bit yellow, take vitamin B complex supplements.
And then you'll get plenty.
And it's hard to overdose on water-soluble vitamins.
It's not impossible, but it's hard to overdose versus fat-soluble vitamins where it's much easier to overdose.
Vitamin D is fat-soluble.
It has a much longer lifespan in the body, much harder to get out if you radically overdose on vitamin D. But if you overdose on vitamin C or B vitamins...
Too much vitamin C will typically just give you loose stools.
And some people take crazy amounts, like 30, 40, 50 grams of vitamin C a day.
I'm not suggesting that you need that much, but some people hyperdose or megadose on vitamin C and they claim big benefits from it.
Some people will take a lot more B vitamins.
I don't think it's necessary to megadose on B vitamins.
But it's important to take these supplements on a regular basis because water-soluble vitamins are eliminated from your body very quickly, often within 12 hours, sometimes 24 hours.
So daily supplements with B and C and the other water-soluble vitamins and nutrients, daily supplementation is really crucial for those things.
Whereas for vitamin D, you don't need daily supplementation if you have enough stored up in your liver.
For example, if you have enough stored up in your liver by the time winter arrives, your liver will provide all the vitamin D that you need, and your kidneys are involved as well, throughout the entire winter.
You have vitamin D stores in your body to last months until the spring comes back around, and then you start getting more sunshine in the spring, and you're okay the entire time because your body can store months of vitamin D.
Your body cannot store months of vitamins B3 or C or water-soluble vitamins.
You need those daily, so keep that in mind.
All right, so that's today's sermon on niacin or niacinamide or nicotinamide or nicotinic acid.
It's all the same thing.
So check out vitamin B3. Check out your niacin intake.
Make sure you've got it up to optimum levels and you will be much healthier as a result, by the way.
And if in doubt, go see a naturopath.
Get your levels checked and get your naturopath's opinion on how much vitamin B3 you should take or what you're getting in foods or what you're lacking from your foods.
It's good to talk to a naturopathic physician who can help you go over your diet and figure out where the gaps are.
And whenever people ask me for medical advice, by the way, first thing I tell them is I'm not a doctor, so I can't give you medical advice.
But then they ask me for, well, what should I eat?
And you know what I ask them?
I say, I want you to write down everything you eat for seven days.
Everything you eat and drink for seven days and give me that list.
And then I'll be happy to look at that list and tell you what I think might be missing, the gaps, or you're getting too much of this or too much of that.
Seven days.
Give me your diet log.
Do you know to this day, I've been doing this for 25 years, nobody's ever done that?
Nobody has ever logged everything they eat and drink for seven days and given it to me.
And you know why?
I think I know why.
I think it's because if they do start writing it down, they immediately see the problem.
They're like, oh, I see.
If you just look at what you're eating, if you log it, you'll probably notice it's not that great.
For most people.
You'll probably notice you're eating too much processed food, not getting enough nutrition.
So a lot of times people self-correct.
Just the process of logging what you eat will cause a self-correction and then they don't need to talk to me.
Most people know how to be healthier.
They're just not doing it.
For the most part.
There are some knowledge gaps, like maybe you didn't know about the importance of vitamin B3, possibly.
But for the most part, people know how to be healthier.
They're just not doing it.
And by logging what they eat, it kind of forces them to do it.
So, you know, keep that in mind.
That's a great exercise for you, perhaps.
You want to be healthier?
Write down everything you eat and drink for seven days.
You can just keep it private.
It's just your food diary.
Nobody else has to see it.
It's not going to go on like the wall of shame.
Or all the buckets of ice cream or whatever.
No, it's just between you and God.
You eat whatever you want, but look at it and see if you can make improvements.
You probably can.
I can make a few improvements.
Not many.
My diet is very, very clean and very nutrient-dense, but occasionally I slip up.
Occasionally.
And so there are things that I can improve as well.
And there are also some nutrients that I think I should take in higher quantities.
Like recently, I started doing a lot more beet powder because beets are really amazing for blood circulation and cardiovascular health and nitric oxide production and things like that.
So I've been doing a lot more beets.
Good for your liver, detox, things like that.
And garlic.
Garlic is one of God's amazing superfoods.
That is mentioned in the Bible.
And, you know, it's a broad-spectrum antibiotic.
So keep all that in mind and check out all the other sermons I have for you at abundance.church.
And remember that until the end of days comes, whenever that may be, until it comes, we should stay healthy.
So people find it funny, like, why are you teaching about the end of the world and then you teach people about nutrition?
Because we don't know when the end of the world's coming.
And in the meantime, I don't want to be living on processed junk foods.
I don't want to face God's wrath being, you know, obese and diseased.
Let's be healthy no matter what.
And Armageddon and the end of days may not even come in our lifetimes.
We don't know.
So be healthy.
Be healthy and live in faith.
God wants you to be healthy.
He gave you everything on this planet to help you do that.
So living with health is actually living closer to God.
