Alright folks, welcome to Bright Town Broadcast News for Friday, August 9th, 2024.
This is Mike Adams.
Thank you for joining me.
Thank you so much.
I'm just overwhelmed with the outpouring of suggestions from people.
From my request, asking if there are any jewelers out there, or maybe listeners to the program, who want to offer, or maybe they can do this custom gold cross, Welcome to my show!
I've just been overwhelmed by the response.
I want to thank you.
One couple in California sent me a photo.
And just such a lovely couple.
God bless you both.
Thank you for sending that.
And other people reached out to me and got a lot of suggestions.
So I just want to thank you.
We are going to ask a couple of different jewelers there who are listeners for their sketches or their ideas.
And we may commission several different pieces here.
And I just...
I'm just...
It's amazing to me how many, you know, we have so many listeners who have so many different talents, and you are contributing to society in so many different ways.
I really feel blessed to be able to connect with each and every one of you.
Thank you so much for your support.
I've got some really incredible things for you here today.
First, there's a very important video I'm going to play for you, about eight minutes.
And this is our friend Michael Yan, who was just interviewed by Doug Casey on his channel, Doug Casey's take, which is at crisisinvesting.com.
And Michael Yan just laid out some raw, hard-hitting truth in this video, basically saying that if people don't get out of the cities in these target zones, which includes the United States and Canada and the UK and so on, if people don't get out of these cities, they probably will die.
But I want you to hear it as Michael Jan explains it because he's traveled the world.
He's studied and witnessed war all over the world.
He has traveled more than anybody I know.
He's been through so many countries, many different cultures.
All throughout the Middle East and India and Nepal and Central and South America and Asia, and he's in Tokyo or Japan right now.
I don't know if he's in Tokyo proper, but he's been in Taiwan and China and Hong Kong.
Michael Yan has seen the world, and he knows the signs of war and the signs of famine, and he says that there are now absolutely unmistakable Patterns and actions underway that will cause severe famine among Western nations.
And he says things like, you know, Canada is probably done.
Canada will not survive as we know it.
And, of course, the United Kingdom is done.
And we're not sure yet if the United States of America is done.
Hopefully not.
Perhaps we can still save it and turn it around.
But much of Western Europe is done.
You know, the history books, you can start writing a new history of the fall of, you know, Christian-based Western Europe.
It's done.
Because the culture has decided to commit suicide.
It cannot defend itself.
There's no willingness to live in Western culture anymore.
At least, you know, certainly among the governments and many other people.
And Islam is just utterly overrunning Western Europe.
And Islam will succeed in that, almost certainly.
It's funny because, you know, I interviewed Pastor Ciccolanti, ran that yesterday.
And he also agrees with that assessment.
He believes that Islam will conquer Western Europe because so far, I mean, look at the police in the UK. They arrest their own citizens who are tweeting warnings about the invaders while the police there do nothing to stop the invaders from committing violent crimes against the children of British citizens.
I mean, it's absolutely extraordinary.
The entire British government has been weaponized against the citizens of the UK while allowing the invasion and takeover and ultimately the replacement of the current population of the UK.
So the UK is done, folks.
If you don't – if you're listening to this and you're in, I don't know, London or Liverpool, wherever you are, if you're in a major city in Great Britain, certainly – I mean in the Britain era.
I mean, you're probably fine in Ireland and Scotland and other places.
I'm talking about if you're in Britain and you're in a major city, you should leave or you may not survive.
Now, don't just listen to me say that.
Listen to Michael Jan.
So this is a pretty long clip.
It's about eight minutes, but it's very important.
Check it out.
If you're in a big city, it's time to get out.
I mean, obviously.
I mean, it's way past that time.
Those cities are clearly being taken.
If you're not going to fight for it, if you are not going to fight, you must leave or you will be taken.
This is coming.
This is the nature of these sorts of takeovers, right?
The economy clearly is collapsing, and the Strait of Hormuz is not even closed yet.
We saw the Japanese economy take a crash into a mountain on Monday, as did quite a few others, and I'm sure you're tracking that better than most.
And the oil is still flowing from the Mideast, right?
Anyway, so the bottom line is there's a...
There's a lot of context going on here and not a lot of it's positive.
And so whether it's economic collapse or these invasions that are going on...
You're going to have to fight or flee.
If you freeze, you'll probably die, or you'll certainly be a slave.
And so what are you going to do?
That depends on your personal situation.
Certainly you need to organize around groups.
It's very important that you organize with quality people.
And cowards are natural traitors.
Never let cowards into your inner circles.
They are natural Dr.
Smith lost in space type characters.
And this is old knowledge.
This isn't me coming up with this, although I've seen it a lot.
This is old knowledge that goes back since the oldest books I can read.
Cowards are those close to you that become afraid.
They'll sell you out and that's it.
So it's very important to be brutal in your estimates and who you let within your inner circles, right?
And it's very important that you take Significant action.
Storing up three months of food.
What's that going to do?
Get you through a blackout if nobody comes and kills you and takes your food.
But this is not a three-month problem.
I mean, the famines, which are clearly coming.
I've talked about this in detail for years and studied it in detail.
Farmers being bought out in the UK and Australia and the United States and Canada and here as well.
And so the strategic food supply capacity is going down intentionally.
The globalists are turning out the lights because a depopulation is clearly coming, right?
Clearly coming.
So you have to realize that although all of our ancestors have been through many wars, everybody watching this, all of our ancestors have been in a lot of wars, a lot of pandemic and a lot of famine, all of us.
We are We are, I mean, that's the tree we came from.
But it's our turn now.
And so you have to be, you have to change the way your brain thinks.
If you're doing any alcohol, if you're doing any drugs, you should stop right now.
I mean, stop.
Get rid of that crap and start paying attention.
Get your mind clear.
Get fit and start paying very close attention.
And start paying attention to what is within your means.
What actions can you do?
To ensure that you...
And try to make as few moves as possible.
In other words, you don't want to move to Virginia only to have to move somewhere else, right?
People all the time are telling me they want to move to Panama.
I'm like, why?
That's the last place in the world I'd move.
Or maybe New York City is the last place, Chicago.
And then after that, it would be Panama, right?
I mean, you're just setting yourself up for a few...
You need to make...
If possible, try to make a sniper shot and move to the place you want to spend the rest of your life, right?
And then if you have to move, then we got to be flexible.
We're humans and we'll do it.
But that's the thing you need to do is think it through.
Everybody has different capacities.
Like if you're Armenian, you might want to move back to Armenia.
If you're Georgian, you might want to move back to Georgia.
I was just over in Armenian Georgia last year.
Well, fine places except for Azerbaijan will want to take a slice out of Armenia.
But the bottom line is different people have different abilities.
Thai people might want to go back to Thailand.
Japanese, I don't know if you want to come back here.
Because this, although it's much nicer than the United States now, Japan is easily put into famine.
95% of the petroleum products are brought in.
Most of the food is imported.
This place can easily be tipped to famine.
And Japan has experienced many, many famines.
And Masako Ganaha, a research partner of mine, she found mention of, I think, 503 famines in about the last 1,500 years because we've been Studying famine in Japan and different things.
But the bottom line is, try to make a one-stop shopping.
And it can depend.
If you're from Guatemala, you might want to go back to Guatemala.
Because I think Guatemala is...
I mean, I was in Guatemala, what, this year or last year?
That's a nice place.
That's a place I would go on vacation.
El Salvador, too.
I mean, there's a lot of places that you can go back to that are not going to be in the middle of a kinetic war.
Because if you're in the United States, everything goes.
If we get into a nuclear war, the United States is going to get nuked, right?
I don't know that Guatemala would.
I don't know what the radiation patterns would be and that sort of thing.
But if the lights go out in the United States, all somebody has to do is turn our lights out.
Let me say something, just a couple more minutes.
Maybe two months ago, the Chinese have invested heavily in the Ecuadorian I told Matt this the other night.
They have invested heavily in the Ecuadorian power grid.
Now, Quito, Ecuador is where most of the Chinese land who are coming through the Darien Gap, through Colombia and Panama.
And they arrive visa-free.
They'll leave China.
Often they'll go to Chiang Mai, to Turkey, down to Quito, right?
So they've been arriving without – they can get visa on arrival.
But the Chinese are causing problems in Ecuador.
But remember what I said.
China is a major investor in their electrical system.
So about two months ago, and you can find this in the news, Ecuador said, okay, Chinese have to get a visa in advance.
So the Chinese government said, well, I don't know what they said, but they were not happy with it.
I remember that part.
But the electricity went out for the entire country the next day.
So the entire Ecuador was in a blackout.
So they said you need to get a visa before you show up, and they had a blackout.
Whole country.
Now, imagine the United States.
I don't know who all can turn our grid off.
Maybe China.
I think we've bought a lot of Transformers from them and that sort of thing.
Maybe they got a little switch they can flip.
You know, Russians are highly capable.
We've got all sorts of highly capable enemies and other globalists who will be Americans can easily flip the switch.
Exactly.
People in our own government.
And if that...
And the main invader, the main invasion engine for the United States is our government straight up.
And so if our electricity goes out, we're going into famine almost instantly.
I mean, it'll it'll start very quickly because that's it.
I mean, if our if our electricity is out for three months, you're going to see a dramatic population reduction.
Right.
And and if it's out for six months or a year, I mean, it's a road warrior stuff.
Uh, so yeah.
And so what can you do?
You have to assess your own situation.
Um, certainly you do need plenty of food and that sort of thing on hand and your ability to defend yourself and your ability to defend yourself where you're at, but also depending where you're at because everybody's situation is different, but certainly The life that you had before is over.
And so you will either adjust to it and there's a high chance you'll do well or you won't adjust to it and there's a high chance you're going to die.
Okay, the next thing I want to play for you is a special report that I recorded earlier today, and it's called Prepare for Extreme Psychic Warfare to be Unleashed Against Us All.
And the reason I thought it was important to talk about this is because it's not just, as Michael Jan says, you know, there's famine warfare.
He understands there's also information warfare.
There's also kinetic warfare.
There could be radiological warfare, you know, from dirty bombs or nuclear weapons or financial warfare through the systematic takedown of the banking system.
But there's also psychic warfare.
And what I mean by psychic warfare is that there will be elements of fear unleashed like area effect weapons against the aggregate consciousness of the human race.
And I don't know what this is going to look like, but I have a couple of guesses.
This is where I think that they can bring in some massive, massive false flag, large-scale false flag type of events, such as a faked alien invasion.
You know, you talk about psychic warfare.
Could you terrify all of humanity by faking like Earth was being invaded by, you know, evil lizard aliens or something?
Yeah, they could absolutely fake that because, number one, they've got the drones with the lights and they can launch it at night.
They can have, you know, drone configurations in the sky to look like, you know, freaking Battlestar Galactica if they want.
And They've got the media.
So all they've got to do is, the same thing they did during COVID, is roll out all these media memos to all the journalist puppets out there to start reading the scripts.
Earth is under attack, and the aliens are coming to get us.
And then they'll follow that up with, we have to give up our guns.
That makes no sense.
But we do, because the world must unite.
And then it'll be like George Bush.
It's a new world order.
The world must unite against the aliens.
And all the programmable life-form people will be like, yes, we have to unite behind one world leader.
And you're like, no, it's the Antichrist.
But the media can pull that off.
And that's just one example.
I don't know for sure that that's coming, perhaps.
But something big and dark like that, something that just screws with the psyche of the American people.
Here's another example.
Cosmic level events where maybe the government announces that there's a giant, like Planet X is approaching.
They announced this one day and they say humanity has...
You know, let's say five months to live.
And therefore, we can't have elections.
You see, humanity has five months to live because there's a giant approaching planet X and what we should all do is Is, like, you should give up all your worldly possessions and give it to the government.
And, you know, give up your weapons and the government is just going to shut down all the energy because, you know, it's the end of the world, you know, and shut down all the farms.
We don't need food for next year.
There is no next year.
Cancel the election.
Everything.
Drive all this fear into people.
And then like four months later, when Trump was supposed to be sworn in, then the media will tell us, well, there's been a miscalculation.
Actually, Planet X is not going to hit us after all.
But by that time, it's too late because there was no election.
The farms are shut down.
Everybody's like, what?
You mean we're not all going to die?
And then that would set off like mass famine because nobody planted food.
You see what I'm saying?
It's this level of psychic warfare that I'm talking about.
Something cosmic level.
Something that would just drive absolute fear and panic into the minds of all people or most people.
But importantly, that it's fake.
It's fake.
And maybe it's some kind of fake plandemic.
Maybe they announced some kind of new bird flu hemorrhagic fever like a buzzard Ebola or something.
Vulture Marburg.
It's like, what?
What are you talking about?
It makes you bleed out of your eyes any time you look at a bird of prey.
I don't know.
Like falcon Ebola.
They'll just come up with something and they'll push it.
And most people will believe it.
And they'll drive everybody back into their homes and lockdowns.
We can't have elections.
Again, half the plan here is to stop the election, drive fear into the hearts and minds of the gullible masses, and it's going to take a lot of courage for people like you and I to open the front door, walk outside, look up, sun is shining, breeze is blowing, and just say, hey, guess what?
It was all illusion.
We denounce the sorcerer's spells over humanity.
We break the spell of the deceiver.
The great satanic death cult agenda of the corporate media.
We break the spell.
It's going to take a lot of courage to do that.
And if you're living in the UK, police will show up and saw your house in half.
Like they did yesterday to that guy's door.
Sawing through the front door.
Don't you have...
What's wrong with you cops?
I still can't believe it.
But, you know, enforcement's got to go crazy.
But all I'm saying is don't be surprised if you turn on mainstream news, if you ever listen to any of that garbage.
If you turn on one day and they say something like, well, it has now been detected.
That hiding behind Halley's Comet, or whatever comet is currently incoming, we have found an alien fleet decelerating.
They appear to be on track to reach parity with Earth's orbital velocity.
Within the next six months, they will enter Earth's orbit.
There are 15,000 alien vessels!
And we don't know what they want, but they have sent communications and our experts are trying to decrypt the expert communications to discern their intentions.
Or whatever.
It's basically like Orson Welles, right?
That's what he did on the radio show.
What year was it?
Like 1948 or something?
He's like, the aliens are attacking!
And there was a panic.
Everybody freaked out.
Oh my god, they're here!
But it was all just like comedy or satire on the radio.
But people thought it was real.
Well, I think they could pull that.
Like, for real.
Really try to do that and send everybody into a total panic.
But that's, again, several examples.
Probably aliens or demons or interdimensional beings.
Like, we found a portal underneath a Jewish synagogue in New York City.
Like, um, them's not portals.
Damn trafficking tunnels or whatever, you know.
But I'm joking, okay?
Don't take it too seriously.
Or they could say something like, there's a Stargate portal, it's been located.
Or, you know, like, we accidentally overdrove the CERN particle accelerator, and we have opened a black hole into an alternate dimension, and...
Lizard creatures are pouring out.
They can do it with CGI and AI fakery and everything.
They'd have CNN there.
Look at the lizards coming out of the portal from the alternate dimension.
And look, there's Thor.
It's like an Avengers movie all of a sudden.
It's like giant flying worm creatures.
I mean, I'm laughing because this is fun, you know, to play with these crazy ideas, but it's not fun when the deep state establishment pushes that kind of stuff for real.
And they already did it with COVID. They fooled the whole world.
They ran a fake pandemic.
We now know it wasn't real.
It was very convincing.
I mean, I was convinced at first, too.
We now know the whole thing was staged.
And if they can stage that, and they still got people wearing masks, man, think about it.
They still have people taking jabs.
I mean, Biden took 10 jabs and got COVID three times, and he still says it worked.
It's like, what's wrong with these people?
You still got people wearing masks in their own cars, driving around by themselves, all masked up.
That's psychological warfare or psychic warfare.
And that's what I'm talking about is coming in spades.
So give this special report a listen.
Give you more examples there.
I want to talk to you about psychological readiness for what we are about to witness.
I was watching an interview of Ed Dowd on the Alex Jones show.
Ed's a very smart man.
He said, we're going to be facing times here just in the next few months In times of extreme chaos, we cannot predict what's going to occur.
But we can predict that what will occur will be many standard deviations outside the normal pattern of typical expectations.
In other words, we can accurately predict that what's going to occur Will be extremely wild.
Why?
Well, because the forces that are at work right now are extremely desperate.
The Democrat cabal in power right now is highly desperate to stay in power.
They are absolutely struggling.
Kamala Harris is not actually popular.
Yes, they can create the illusion of popularity by having popular music concerts where she appears and then they pretend that all these people are there for Kamala when they're not.
They're there for the music.
And they can pay influencers.
They can pay people off, bribe people to support Kamala.
But they can't create A kind of resonance and empathy.
They can't make people love Kamala.
they can only make people kind of tolerate her more than they might hate Trump.
And that's about as far as they can get.
And now with Tim Walz in the picture, with all of his stolen valor accusations, with a lot more dirt coming out each day, it seems increasingly likely that Tim Walz is going to bail, or the Democrats will push him out and replace him with someone else.
So it makes you wonder, how many times are they going to have to reprint the fake ballots that they're going to use to steal the election?
Because until recently, they were printing them up as Joe Biden.
And then they had to change them to Kamala.
And now they have to change them to Kamala Walls or Harris Walls.
Well, then what are they going to do after they boot Walls out and replace him with somebody?
They have to print new ballots again.
There's going to be a lot of ballot printing that has to be redone during all of this because that's part of the way they cheat.
And what's interesting to me is that the closer we get to Election Day, the more the clock is running out on the Democrats to pull these shenanigans.
So it's actually, every single day that we inch forward is a day of victory for us, that is, real Americans who want an honest election and who love our country, because it's one less day for those who are going to cheat.
It's one less day that they can carry out the cheating.
And if we can get, you know, another 45 days into this without them carrying out some massive false flag or some kind of, you know, massive cyber attack or nuclear attack or something along those lines or financial collapse, then, wow, number one, we should thank God for getting there.
And then secondly, we should recognize that that's half the battle, is just running out the clock right now and getting us to election day.
Because if the election were held today, there's no question in my mind that Trump would win.
So we've got to run out the clock on this.
Now, we do know that the Democrats in the deep state, they are going to attempt to carry out some heinous things in the time they have remaining before the election.
They obviously want to cause mass chaos, and they obviously want to scare voters away from Trump.
They also are very likely to try some kind of like a Patriot Front Group, you know, attack somewhere in America, probably with racial overtones that they can blame somehow on Trump supporters.
But we all know the Patriot Front Group is run by the feds.
That's obvious to anybody paying attention at this point.
And the truth is that the Biden regime and its handlers right now are so disorganized compared to what they used to be under Barack Obama.
They're so disorganized and they're so incompetent because they've been run by these woke DEI surrogates that they may not be able to pull off a convincing false flag.
I mean, they failed to assassinate Trump.
They tried to pull that off and they didn't do it.
Well, that shows their incompetence.
They are not able to achieve everything they try to do.
Now, granted, yes, there are some things they can pull off.
They can probably set off a bomb somewhere in an American city to be blamed on, you know, whoever, Russia or China or Iran, perhaps.
They can do those kinds of things.
And they can dredge up fake news about Trump.
And they can use AI bots to put out fake videos and All kinds of things like that.
And they probably will.
But the American audience today is far more sophisticated than they've ever been.
They're on high alert.
They know about the fakery.
They know the media is lying to them.
They know that this government has been weaponized against the American people.
And that's going to make it extremely difficult for the regime to pull off a massive coup.
Again, you know, an election rigging.
It's going to be very difficult for them to do it this time.
And they may lack the competence to pull it off.
So what that means is that if Trump wins, then in that time period, and I've covered this before, but let me share something new with you.
In that time period after the election up to inauguration day in January of 2025, You're going to see not just crazy physical things happening in the world.
You're going to see a psychic assault on the minds of the American people.
This psychic assault will attempt to drive into your mind a sense of fear based on illusion, based on, in effect, sorcery.
It's going to try to make you so afraid that you run and hide instead of standing up for what you know to be right and true.
They're going to try to intimidate attorneys, for example, to stop fighting for election integrity.
Just like they're trying to persecute Tina Peters right now in Colorado to throw her in prison for her acts of simply attempting to conserve the voting images on the voting machines so that voting integrity could be saved and then later scrutinized or analyzed.
And they're trying to throw her in prison for that.
That is an intimidation tactic to We must dispel the fear.
We must denounce the sorcery or the psychic assault, and we have to stand firm in our own strength and in our own conviction and even in our own faith, knowing that we are on the right side of history, we are on the right side of the law, and we are on the right side of God.
And if we stand in that place, then what's going to happen, this is one of my predictions of what we're going to see sometime after about 90 days from now, we're going to see, remember I said, a great scare.
A scare of the risk of total loss, thinking that, you know, we've lost everything.
The great scare is going to morph into the great unmasking.
And the great unmasking will be the dismantling or the disassembly of the sorcerer's illusion.
You know, the emperor has no clothes.
And we're going to see a falling away of the fakery as the curtain is ripped back and the little short fat man Behind the curtain, the Wizard of Oz is exposed for pulling levers and punching buttons and projecting illusions into the consciousness of the people.
That day is coming.
And it's going to be a mass awakening.
It's going to be a, I don't know, WTF moment?
I don't know.
It's going to be this pivot point.
Actually, I call it the shift has hit the fan, right?
This is going to be a massive shift in consciousness.
And anytime there's a shift in consciousness, many people are afraid.
Some people will panic.
Some people will feel like they've lost their anchor to reality because they are anchored to illusions.
Believe it or not, many people find comfort in their illusions because at least for them, those illusions are reinforced through their social circles and their peers and the media.
And even though they may be completely false, like the idea that men can have babies, it's socially reinforced.
And so it feels comfortable and it feels, you know, customary.
It's familiar to these people.
So remember that principle when people start to lose their minds, that many people feel more comfortable with familiar illusions rather than unfamiliar truth.
And when the unfamiliar truth is exposed to them as the shift hits the fan, some of these people will psychically panic because they will feel as if they have been thrust into weightlessness, like they have been jettisoned from an orbital platform and they're floating in space.
With no anchor, nothing to grasp onto, because everything that they thought was real has now vanished and they have no ties to reality.
Those people, some of them, can become your greatest allies.
As they begin to anchor themselves in the real world.
And then there are other people who start out there who can become the most dangerous, out-of-control enemies because they will thrash about.
It's kind of like a person who's drowning in water.
And you try to save them.
And the first thing that that person does is they attempt to drown the person saving them.
Because they're trying to get on top of something so they will shove the person saving them underwater to try to get on top of them.
That's actually a better metaphor than floating in space.
But if you encounter those people Make sure you are well-grounded.
Make sure that you have got yourself covered as you try to help them, even psychically or spiritually, try to pull them out of the drowning waters.
Make sure that they don't drag you into the deep end at the same time.
And yes, that's a metaphor, but there are also very real physical ramifications in that, such as when people show up begging for food and medicine and water because they did not prepare, make sure that they don't swamp your situation and steal all your supplies.
In other words, make sure that you can still take care of yourself.
So, psychic warfare is coming to America.
Massive psychic warfare.
Devastating psychic warfare.
There will be mind games played in the next few months, the likes of which you have never seen, with all kinds of fear and threats and coercion, illusion projected into your consciousness, through every means of control, pop culture, news, you know, fact checkers, everything you can imagine.
But it's all illusion.
It will all fade away.
The great unmasking will occur.
And then there will be a new pivotal moment of mass awakening for much of humanity with some people falling away and never recovering and frankly, you know, running off and dying or killing themselves or committing suicide or what have you.
You can't save everybody, but we can save many, many people.
So keep that in mind as we move forward.
Expect massive psychic warfare in America.
All right, the interview I have for you today is with Tom Rigsby.
He's the executive director of a company, well, an organization called American Contingency.
And the reason we wanted to interview Tom Rigsby, and by the way, this is for Decentralize.tv with my co-host Todd Pitner, but we wanted to interview Tom Rigsby because he's got a kind of like an app and a system and a sort of community connections for local preparedness.
And he's thought through this quite a lot.
He's been developing this for many years.
years, I think he's got a really sound message for making local connections and having a preparedness network.
So that's the interview that we'll have here shortly.
And then following that, we're going to have today's sermon.
Now, I got to actually check which sermon is today because I am several sermons ahead, if you can believe that.
So I think, yeah, I think today is sermon number 12.
Indeed, sermon 12 talks about apples, apricots, and superfoods of the Bible.
So this is a theme that I'll be getting into a lot more with you.
As you know, I talk about God's molecules, which is the mind of God expressed through phytonutrients found in nature.
And in the Bible, we're going to quote just a little line from Deuteronomy, chapter 32, verse 10.
By the way, if you're curious about that, yeah, we're going old school today.
Go on the Old Testament here with apples and apricots.
And if you know anything about apricots, you know that the pits of apricots contain what's known now as vitamin B17 or laetrile.
So this is the first of many sermons focused on specific therapeutic substances, which many people claim to be anti-cancer, by the way, in apricot pits that are found throughout the foods mentioned in the in apricot pits that are found throughout the foods mentioned in Now, remember, the Bible mentions, of course, not only foods and herbs, but also essential oils.
So we'll be covering all of those things, including incense and myrrh, which is – that's in actually some of our mouthwash products because of all the benefits for oral health and so on.
So the Bible is actually rich with mentions of food, and I can't believe – I mean, this shocks me – but I can't believe that nobody to my knowledge has ever taught the scripture from the point of view of nutrition and superfoods.
I mean, as I'm doing it, I'm thinking, this is, like, the subject matter was just screaming for somebody to cover it.
Why am I... Possibly, I mean, to my knowledge, the only or perhaps first person to really have this modern focus of Scripture through the lens of nutrition and natural medicine and herbal remedies and, you know, pure blood and detoxification and so on.
And I don't know the answer to that.
It's just that for me, it kind of screams out, but maybe that's just my background.
I don't know why, but when I look around the natural world, I see the expression of God in everything.
Everything that's natural, I should say.
In the trees, in the leaves, the plants, the sprouts, the grasses, the microbiology, the water, the fish.
I see the hand of God everywhere around us.
I don't see that in the cities, the overpasses and the sidewalks and the crumbling bridges.
No, that's not the hand of God.
That's the abandonment of man.
But in the natural world, I see the hand of God everywhere.
So when I see foods and I look at these foods and substances, as a food scientist, by the way, I see the miracles of our Creator expressed through these foods.
So you're going to hear a lot of sermons from me along those lines.
And today I'm actually quoting from a book by the late Dr.
James A. Duke, who I interviewed many years ago before his death.
And one of the books that he wrote is called Herbs of the Bible.
So yes, here's one man who did.
He did write a book, Herbs of the Bible, But he did not focus on teaching scripture at all.
He focused on, well, one of his other books is called Green Pharmacy.
So he focused on herbs and plants and nutrition.
And as kind of a tangent, one time he did herbs of the Bible.
So he's probably the closest person that I know of who has ever taught this combination of topics.
And sadly, I've now learned that he died a few years ago.
But he was a great asset to us, and his knowledge is carried on through my sermon today, which is being shared with all of you.
So thank you for listening.
Now, before we get into today's interview with Tom Rigsby of American Contingency, let me thank you for your support of our online store, healthrangerstore.com, where, of course, we have laboratory-tested and mostly certified organic foods and superfoods, nutritional we have laboratory-tested and mostly certified organic foods and superfoods, nutritional supplements, personal care Welcome to my show!

You might lick the plate later, right, or something.
I don't know.
I don't know how you eat dinner.
Maybe it's a very delicious meal, and you're like, that's so good!
I'm gonna lick the plate!
Or maybe you're in Texas, like we do in Texas.
Well, I'm from the Midwest, and you know, if you have like a biscuit, or like a piece of bread, or like a roll, and you have, you know, spaghetti on the plate, and it's really good spaghetti with meat sauce.
And what do you do with that roll, that piece of bread?
What do you do?
That's a mop, right?
You mop up that sauce.
You know, you use the bread as a mop.
That's how you do it in Southern America.
You're like, we don't need forks and spoons and knives.
We got a chunk of bread.
Mop that plate up, you know?
And then you eat that.
Well, maybe I'm giving away too much of my family history.
But, yeah, we had fried okra and catfish, okay?
That's all I'm saying.
Fried okra, catfish, and roll mops.
Ha!
The gravy or whatever.
But I get carried away.
But my point is that you want clean dishes.
You don't want chemicals all in your laundry and your dishes and everything.
So shop with us at healthrangerstore.com and you're going to get clean, amazing products that can help support your natural health.
Oh, also, by the way, we had cornbread that tasted like cornbread, not cake.
So all y'all out there that are going out to these restaurants and you're ordering, quote, cornbread and it shows up and it's actually like sugary cake treats.
That's yellowish, like there's a little bit of corn.
Hey, that ain't cornbread, folks.
You don't know what cornbread is unless it's gritty.
It's got to be gritty.
It's got to be a little bit of sandpaper texture in there.
It's got to be maybe a little bit too dry, and that's why you've got to slather on a bunch of butter on that, because you've got to lubricate the cornbread, otherwise you can't swallow it.
It's so gritty, you've got to put half a stick of butter on it.
And It's not sweet.
It's not cake.
It's not a muffin.
It's corn, folks.
Corn bread.
Just get it straight.
Those of you listening who have grown up in Southern families, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
Real corn bread baked in an iron skillet.
You know, it's not microwavable corn bread.
It's baked in an iron skillet and it goes down like sandpaper.
There you go.
A real Southern meal.
All right.
We could do comedy all day about food, just the food I grew up with.
So then the other thing is rangerdeals.com gives you all kinds of amazing savings on preparedness items using discount codes that I've negotiated on your behalf with the various companies.
Some of them sponsors, some of them not.
Some of them just donors who offer solutions that I handpick for your benefit.

That's at rangerdeals.com.
A lot of savings for you there.
Many deals with 10% off or more depending on the situation.
So check that out.
Alright, with all of that said, then here is the interview with Tom Rigsby, the Executive Director of American Contingency as part of Decentralized TV. And then following that will be today's sermon on apples, apricots, or as some of you say, apricots, and that's okay too, apricots, and superfoods of the Bible.
And we don't talk about cornbread in that one today.
Nope.
All right.
Enjoy.
All right.
Welcome to today's episode of Decentralize TV. I'm Mike Adams from the Brighttown.com studios in Central Texas.
And of course, joined by our ever popular co-host, Todd Pitner from the great state of Florida.
Welcome, Todd.
Mike, how are you?
Great to see you.
I am doing great, sir.
It's great to have you on today.
And we have an amazing guest.
To talk about, to talk with today.
And his company, his organization is called American Contingency.
We'll get to that.
Todd, do you have any contingency plans that need a little beefing up?
Well, you know me, Mike.
My contingency plans always have to do with my backyard food, forest, and animals.
So I don't know.
I do have a contingency plan for that bobcat.
You know what that is.
Alright, so your contingency is if everything collapses, you're just moving to the backyard and you're picking mangoes or what?
Yeah, man.
It is just being very generous.
Get lots of produce back there.
That's true.
Yeah.
Yeah, no, it's why we planted it.
I recently sent you the video, Mike, and man, could you believe that it's just been 10 months since that darn thing has been planted?
No, I can't believe it, but I've got to say there's been so much rain in Texas recently that I found a volunteer cantaloupe plant growing on my ranch that's very far along, so now I'm watering it.
I can't wait to have volunteer cantaloupe.
Wow, that is so cool.
That's so cool.
There's my contingency plan.
Don't spray weed killer and let the food grow.
Right.
Imagine that.
Yeah, imagine.
But let's get to our guest.
Let's bring him in.
Tom Rigsby from AmericanContingency.com.
So welcome to the show, Tom.
Today, it's great to have you on.
Hey, guys.
Glad to be here.
Well, thank you for taking the time to join us.
And as you can tell, Todd and I are into, of course, food preparedness, but much more, obviously.
But we get to eat the food part, so that's fun to talk about.
But tell us about your world and your organization and how you're helping people eliminate fear and gain the practical preparedness outlook that will help them through uncertain situations.
Yeah, sure.
I'm happy to.
In fact, food and water is one of the 12 categories that we talk about a lot.
It's one of the things that you have to, we believe in a balanced approach, but one of the things you have to do to be a little better prepared.
You know, for me personally, I think I was fortunate.
I was able to grow up on a farm.
I learned a lot of the things About preparedness and self-sufficiency.
I didn't know that was the lesson I was learning at the time, but it worked out that way.
And then I have army time.
I've got business time.
All of those lessons kept coming.
They just seem to keep coming back up.
And then as we got into the 2018, 19, 20 timeframe and things looked even more uncertain for us, this group of people came together very quickly.
And we just kind of organized around an idea of being better prepared, whatever that meant for you, right?
And as you guys said during the Open, preparedness for one person may look different than preparedness for another person, and that's okay.
What we want to do is help people understand that a dependence on the system, a dependence on a centralized theme or process is not going to turn out well for you when things go bad.
I had an experience here.
I live in North Alabama, so not too far away from Utah, and used to live in Texas.
So there we go.
We're all tied together.
But we had tornadoes come through.
And took out the three main power feeds.
We were without power for 11 days, I think.
And through that time, I mean, 11 days with no power is a long time for a lot of people.
That is.
And that really kind of solidified for me that a lot of these things that I've kind of taken for granted and just learned throughout my life, we need to kind of Codify those, put those together in some way so we can help other people go from this state of anxiousness to a state of confidence.
One question I have for you right up front is, are you seeing a difference now?
Are more people seemingly becoming aware of the need for contingency planning?
Sort of what I would call mainstream people who used to never be concerned about much of anything.
Yeah, we are, but it varies.
I think what happens is people have to experience a crisis moment for themselves, right?
They have to have that power outage.
They have to live in South Texas and have the polar vortex come through and really knock them off their feet.
They have to experience that to say, hey, you know what?
This doesn't work to keep doing what we're doing.
This is not a sustainable plan.
Sometimes, if they are lucky, they can see other people experience a crisis moment and go, oh wow, I hope that never happens to me.
But if it does, what would we do?
And so when people start asking those questions, that's where we try to step in and say, hey, we've got some answers for you, some things you can begin to work on and think about and prepare those contingencies in your life.
All right, Todd?
Yeah, thank you.
Thank you.
You know, I'm interested, Tom.
Your experience when the you-know-what hits the fan and you need that contingency.
I go back probably about a half a decade, and here in Florida, we had not a hurricane go through.
It was like a Category 1 nothing burger, but it was a big nothing burger.
I mean, it just blew everybody away.
We lost our power for four days, and what people don't necessarily realize in a hurricane When the wind is blowing the rain sideways, and your power goes out completely, and it's the middle of August, you literally cannot open your window to get some airflow.
You know what I mean?
Right.
Torrential rain comes through.
So for me, after four days of that...
Now, they weren't all that, but four days without power really sucked.
And I told myself that would never happen again.
So I started my contingency plans that started with an all-home generator on propane.
So that was kind of the beginning of my journey.
But...
What are your thoughts on the contingency attitude adjustment that we receive regarding our own finances, Tom?
Because we start to treasure different things, don't we?
Instead of saying, hey, I mean, I never thought, Tom, that I would be, like, super excited about saving up for a generator.
You know?
I want that new car, man.
Not a propane full house generator, Tom.
You know, there are 12 categories that we help our members focus on.
And food and water, I mentioned earlier.
Income and economics is one of them as well.
And for a lot of people, I mean, financially, times are tough right now, right?
For a lot of people.
Even, let's go back four years, five years, when everybody was pretty flush.
There were still...
60% of American households that live paycheck to paycheck, that's not a good contingency plan.
And so I think what we have to understand, everything's about priorities.
And so whether it's time, whether it's talent, whether it's treasures, all of those things, we have to place a priority on how we invest them.
We, all three of us, and everyone listening, we all have the same 24 hours in a day.
But I know that we've all looked at people in the past and thought, man, they just get a lot of stuff done.
How do they get so much done?
Yeah, there's this dude named Mike Adams.
I'm still asking that question time and time again.
Well, it's a, and I'm sure Mike will attest, it's a focused application of resources.
That's right.
This is the outcome that I need to achieve.
I need to focus the application of my resources to achieve that outcome.
Now, what a lot of people don't realize, and I'm going to use a slightly different example, but I'm going to bring this back around.
I did the math.
I looked up the numbers, and in my county where I live, sworn law enforcement officers, there's about 2,100 of them, right?
And there's about half a million people.
So if you consider during a crisis, let's say an all-hands-on-debt crisis, you're still only going to have half of those law enforcement officers working at any given time.
So how many does that leave to respond to your emergency?
It's not that they won't come, although in some cases they might not.
Generally, they'll come.
It just might be two or three days later.
And so you have to be prepared when that happens.
Financially, the same thing can happen.
It's not that your employer wants to lay you off, but if their customers aren't paying them, if the cash flow dries up, whatever economic circumstance might occur, and it could be something wrong.
Like a hurricane.
It destroys the building where your company works.
And now you're the one who can't afford to put groceries on the table.
You have to plan ahead and use that focused application of resources to stockpile the things you need in order to create the outcome that you want.
Tom, I'd like to jump in here and mention that we are living in a nation now that is a lot less reliable than the one in which all of us grew up in in our younger years.
The power grid is not as reliable as it used to be.
The grid is overburdened.
They're not building out the power grid infrastructure to handle the supply of all the electric vehicles, for example, that are on the grid.
We saw what happened in Texas.
They didn't have the power grid winterized at all.
and we went a week with rolling blackouts.
We had eight minutes of power every 30 minutes.
And you had to do everything in eight minutes.
It was like living in this Groundhog Day hellish marathon.
The water pumps only work for eight minutes.
Wow.
If you think about it, the grid is not as reliable.
We also just had the CrowdStrike IT apocalypse, as it was called, where some people were sleeping in airports for four days trying to get on a flight, which brings us to the question of, you know, even when you travel, you need to think about contingency plans when you travel.
I always laugh when I'm on an airplane and I see people traveling wearing, like, shorts, a T-shirt, and flip-flops.
I'm like, what if you're stuck here for, you know, a week?
But isn't it true that it's not just natural disasters anymore, although that's a big part of it, but the systems we've come to rely on are beginning to crumble more and more.
Sure.
Well, most of our lives are built around this principle of just-in-time delivery.
And what happens when that gets interrupted?
You know, it could be A ship running into a bridge.
It could be an ice storm that shuts down a major east-west or north-south interstate.
It could be a train derailment.
It could be something nefarious like a cyberattack.
One of the things that I worry about, just from a causative event perspective, is a focused attack on food distribution.
Yes.
Like a ransomware attack.
There are four major and about five or six secondary food distributors in the United States.
Well, if they targeted all four of them at the same time, they only have to have one that hits.
And then a quarter of our food distribution is offline.
Right?
So we...
That's one of the reasons we divided preparedness up into 12 categories.
So we can take a focused look at each one of those categories and say, okay, how are you doing in this category?
How are you doing in food and water?
How are you doing in medical, in security, in income and economics?
And then give our members...
the direction, the leadership, and the guidance that they need to prepare themselves, but then to also give them a network, kind of this safety net, to help support them when things go beyond their area of expertise, to help support them when things go beyond their area of expertise, their level of experience, or just
There are a lot of questions from people in all of this, of course, and we all remember that for many years, frankly, until COVID, so-called preppers were basically mocked by the mainstream media, right?
And there were even shows, what was it called?
Something Preppers?
Doomsday Preppers.
Doomsday Preppers, yeah.
It was like, let's find the craziest survival extremist scenario and then put it on TV. But that's not indicative of what people actually do.
And now, isn't it becoming more acceptable to talk about preparedness?
It is.
And to your earlier question about how many people are interested...
More people are willing to talk about it once they have experienced a problem.
And I think that COVID actually opens some people's eyes to, I need more than just a 72-hour supply.
For a lot of people, a 72-hour supply is a surplus.
I mean, let's be honest.
Again, statistically, we know that the majority of households in America have less than three days' worth of food in the house.
That's crazy.
How many days?
Did you say 30 or three?
Three.
Three days.
And it's less than that if you take out the refrigerated foods.
Right?
So this whole idea of 72 hours to chaos or 72 hours to anarchy is built on that statistic that says in three days, if people hadn't eaten in three days, they'll start doing what they need to do to find something to eat.
And, you know, I was in the Texas Guard during Katrina and Rita, and part of my unit's mission was to help provide security at Red Cross shelters and we saw people getting off the buses that had taken drastic measures to get themselves and their families out of harm's way.
Quite frankly, I don't know that I, even to this day, I don't think I blame them for the things that they did.
I think they were in a terrible circumstance, and they were doing what they felt was necessary to provide for their safety and their family.
Wait a minute.
What kinds of things are you talking about?
We had one bus arrive.
And this was unusual.
As soon as the bus stopped, the door opened and the bus driver came out.
Of course, we're all in uniform.
We had sheriff's deputies, police there.
She came straight to us and said, that man got on the gun at gunpoint.
And so, you know, we kind of corralled them and were talking to them.
And he was trying to get his family on the bus.
She said, I can't.
The bus is full.
There's too many people on here already.
I don't have room for five.
There were five members of that family.
He said, okay.
Pulled out a gun, pointed at the first guy's head and said, get off.
No kidding.
Until there was room for his family on the bus.
Oh my gosh.
We had another circumstance where a passenger got off the bus, had on tattered blue pants and a torn white t-shirt.
He walked straight up to us and said, I'm a police officer from New Orleans and I need help.
And his story had been that they just, they tried to kill him.
And that's why he had nothing left on him.
He ran to get away.
The most straightaway way he could leave was to get on a bus.
And so the sheriff there in the county kitted him up, gave him a car, and said, bring it back when you can.
And they were just...
That whole three-month period was just replete with stories like that.
And people who were desperate, when they got there, they were like, please help me find out how my family member is.
We had to leave Grandma.
We had to leave.
So, you know, help us find out whether they're okay or not.
Tom, let me interrupt you, though, for a second, because you're talking about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, which still has left psychological scars in this region of the country, New Orleans, Louisiana, East Texas, and so on.
And yet, and yet...
Every single person was warned many days in advance.
So as people of faith, don't we require adults to also take some responsibility for their own preparedness?
Yes, we do.
And here's my...
I don't know what you call it.
This is my story for that.
Do I believe that I used to do a lot of woodworking, table saws, big saws, that sort of thing.
Do I believe that if I had an accident, cut my thumb off, I could come in, sit down, hold my thumb together, pray and ask for divine intervention and that my thumb would be reattached?
Yes, I believe that.
Do I also believe that God allowed for doctors to be trained to learn how to do that?
Yes, I do.
And so, is the miracle that it just reattached itself, or is the miracle that there's a doctor that knows how to do that?
And it's kind of like the story of, you know, the man that was on top of the house during the flood, and three boats came to save him, and he said, no, you know, God's going to provide, and he drowned.
And when he got to heaven, he said, why didn't you provide?
He said, well, I sent you three boats.
Right?
We...
I think what happens though, I mean just in a very practical sense, is that people don't pay attention.
And until your phone goes off, and listen, we didn't even have these marvels of technology back then.
Until your phone goes off, the TV starts screaming at you, the sheriff shows up and knocks on your door, people don't really pay attention.
And You know, then when the sheriff's at your door, and this is one of the scenarios that we train through in American contingency, and we do it kind of in the context of a train derailment, but it's the same principle.
When the sheriff knocks on your door and says, hey, there's been a train derailment, you have 10 minutes to leave, or I'm dragging you out of here.
What do you take?
If you already know the answer to that, your preparedness level is much higher than the person that goes, I don't even know where to start.
And even worse, that's not the time to have the argument about Grandma's wedding album.
Those things should already be decided well in advance.
But most people just believe there's a normalcy bias amongst most people that says, no, everything's going to be okay.
The police will come, the fire will come, EMS will come.
Here's my great example that I use all the time.
Do you have, and I'll just ask you two guys, do either one of you or both of you have a fire extinguisher in your kitchen?
Absolutely.
Yes.
I'm kind of a fire extinguisher nerd.
Right.
So my, and I'll admit, my daughter, one of my daughters, is not as preparedness minded.
And she is more of a systemic believer, right?
Well, you know, If I need the police, or if somebody's trying to break in the door, I'll just call the police.
I'm like, okay, well, that's fine.
If you have a fire in the kitchen, what are you going to do?
Well, I'll take my fire extinguisher out.
I'm like, why do you have a fire extinguisher?
Why don't you just call the fire department?
Right?
You can still rely on services, the systemic services, but you have to take responsibility for yourself.
That's right.
And I think what has happened over time Is that we have, as a society, we have trained people, trained our members of society to rely on the system.
Sure, yes.
And we've all heard this, right?
Why do you have to raise your own cows?
Why don't you just go to the grocery store and get meat?
Well, where do you think that meat comes from?
Right?
Right.
They're so disconnected.
People are so disconnected from their own self-sufficiency that they don't even realize how absurd that statement is.
And so, you know, one of the things that we spend a lot of time advocating for is just, you know, be your own first responder.
Be capable of handling whatever happens.
Because the reality is, you're always there before Fire, police, EMS show up because...
It involves you, right?
So...
Well, let me interrupt you there because this is a key...
This is a pillar of the message that we share on this show.
Decentralized TV means decentralized living.
Stop depending on decentralized systems.
And, of course, in my kitchen, I have a fire extinguisher and within reach an AR-15.
So if somebody...
If a bad guy shows up at the door, I know to spray him with a fire extinguisher.
And if there's a fire on the oven, I know to shoot it with the AR. Exactly.
I'm well-trained, well-trained.
But very few people have that, right?
Very few people.
They do rely on 9-1-1.
And, you know, I live out in the country.
9-1-1 response time where I am, you know, 25 minutes maybe.
Right.
Or never.
So it's like 9-1-1, I mean, local sheriffs, they are here to write the report of what happened after it's done.
Right.
Let me just say, we have a lot of first responders in our ranks, which is great.
We welcome them.
We learn from them.
But one of them is a fire chief.
And he said to me, if we arrive at a fire, at a residential fire, and we can see flames, the house is already gone.
Yeah.
We're not saving the house.
We're saving the neighbors' houses.
Interesting.
Because there's only so much that they can do.
25 minutes is an eternity when your kitchen's on fire or when somebody's You know, you have to be prepared for that.
But one of the things that we do, and while we teach and encourage and train and support all of that, we also support each other through our nationwide network.
We have members in all 50 states.
We have chapters in 37 or 38 states.
But let me give you an example of how that plays out.
I think it was two years ago, we had a member from Pennsylvania They had to drive, for whatever reason, they drove to Florida.
And they were on their way back over Christmas weekend, and somehow they were in Mississippi.
They must have been in far western Florida.
But they were in Mississippi and hit a deer on the rural stretch of, I guess, 20, 59, whatever the interstate is there.
And it completely disabled their car.
Well, he was able to pick up his phone, put out a text message on our app, and within 30 minutes, we had three people from in that area there helping him.
Incredible.
And ultimately, what wound up happening is that one of them showed up with a car carrier trailer, and they ferried his car all the way back to Pennsylvania.
Wow.
That's cool.
That's the power of having a network.
I'll give you one other example.
You know, it's funny.
The things that affect me emotionally are people helping other people.
You know, I look at the sacrifices that people make for other people, and those are the things that kind of catch me in the feels.
So this might happen as I tell this story, just forewarning.
There were a couple, maybe last year, Tornadoes in Forks, Mississippi, again with Mississippi.
And that whole town was wiped out.
And we called and asked the emergency manager there, what can we do to help?
And he said, if you can help us find some totes, like plastic, sterilite, the totes.
We could use some of those.
And we're like, okay, we can do that.
What are you going to use them for?
And he's like, everybody's home here has been completely destroyed.
And they are walking around trying to find what little pieces they have left of their life.
And they don't even have a box to put them in.
Wow.
I said, okay.
So we put a message out.
We had a member, I think in Illinois, Ohio, a member in Ohio who And she said, I have a business and we have thousands of them.
How many do you need?
I said, well, that's, you know, 500.
And she put them on a truck and sent them down that night.
They were there the next morning.
Beautiful.
You know, it is, it's not one or the other, Mike.
I think it's, we need to reduce our reliance on the systemic services, right?
But we also can't do it by ourselves.
And so we have to be responsible for our own preparedness, but we also have to be good members of the community.
And we need to support, to the greatest extent that we can, we need to support our neighbors, our friends, family, neighbors, or the circles that we talk about.
We need to be able to support them.
And when we can help somebody Ten miles, a hundred miles, a thousand miles away.
We need to be prepared to do that as well in whatever way that we can.
And everybody has some way that they can support.
And so that's one of the messages that we emphasize within our network is find a way to support.
If you can't physically get out and help, help track people down.
Relay emails.
We've got a thriving network.
Ham Radio Network, right?
So we can find people, we can pass traffic, we can get updates for you.
There are literally hundreds of ways that you can help people when they are in need.
You know, one of the...
As an organization, we try to broker those needs and capabilities.
See, this reminds me, and I am going to mention, one of the sponsors of the show that we have is the Satellite Phone Store.
And there was a true story recently where one of their customers with a sat phone was on the island of Maui when those fires happened in Lahaina.
And, of course, the power was cut off to the whole island.
I mean, everywhere.
Cell towers were down.
A lot of things were burned up.
Well, one person with a satellite phone was able to allow, I think it was hundreds of people, to make calls to their relatives to say, I'm okay, we're okay, the kids are okay, whatever.
And then some calls were made to law enforcement, like, here's where we are or here's where the problem is or the fire is or whatever.
And And, you know, so it's a legitimate question.
I mean, granted, that's one of our sponsors, but just generally speaking, we have to have backup plans for communications, ham radio.
You just mentioned you have a thriving ham radio network.
Speak to us about that.
Like, if we just rely on the cell towers and the mobile phones, that's often not enough.
Yeah, I think, you know, we've become very attached to our little device that we carry around in our pocket all the time.
And we have assumed, because 99.9% of the time it does work fine, we have assumed that it's always going to work.
Well, here are two things that a lot of people don't understand.
Number one, when a particular cell in the cell network becomes overwhelmed, when too many people pick up the phone, try to make a call at one time, it artificially attenuates its signal to reduce its footprint.
That's how it manages, that's how each cell manages its capacity.
So when a crisis moment occurs, whether it's a A flood, an earthquake, a tornado, and everybody tries to get on the phone, and so if you're already living on the edge of coverage, you're not going to be able to get coverage.
The second thing that happens is, especially in an extended power outage, each one of those cell sites has about 60 to 70 hours worth of fuel.
And then it doesn't work anymore.
And so you can't send a text message, you can't make a phone call, you can't browse through any of the social networks, it's just done.
And so it doesn't have to be this huge thing that knocks this capability out of function.
So the way that That most people live today.
You know, you've got the kids at one or two schools.
You've got mom somewhere working.
You've got dad somewhere working.
If something happens in the middle of the afternoon, what's your plan for getting in touch with everybody?
Yeah.
And so, you know, what we encourage people to do is just think through the scenario, right?
It's contextual.
Context, risk, and mitigation.
What is the most likely scenario that's gonna happen for you?
If you live in Tornado Alley, let's just say it's a tornado.
Okay, a tornado comes through.
What's the risk that the cell phone doesn't work?
All right, if that happens, how do we get back in touch with each other?
Right, because if the kids are trying to get home and the parents are trying to get to the schools and neither parent can talk to each other and they don't know which school they're going, you could pass each other along the way.
So thinking through what those capabilities are and coming up with a primary alternate contingency and emergency plan is how you prepare for that.
We have a whole set of suggested PACE plans, but you have to tailor those to you in your particular circumstance.
We encourage families to use GMRS radios in a particular way.
I mean, they're cheap, they're ubiquitous, but in some geographic regions, they don't work very well.
You know, the terrain just doesn't, you know, is not conducive to using that, so you have to use something else.
Maybe it's a SAT phone.
Maybe it's a SAT communicator.
You know, And the big thing, and this applies to all 12 of the categories, I think you need a PACE plan, that primary, alternate, contingency, emergency options in each one of the categories.
Communications, yes.
Medical, yes.
Food and water, yes.
It's all of those things.
And that can become overwhelming for a lot of people.
When somebody comes to us and they've seen or experienced a crisis moment, And they're feeling that anxiety.
We don't want to pile on, right?
We want to help take some of that off.
But also, let me add this and bring in Todd on this too, because Todd is great about being a hands-on guy.
When Todd learns things from our guests here, by the way, he implements it like he was talking about his food forest earlier.
But it seems to me, and Todd, I'd like to bring you in on this, that Too often, contingency plans can focus on stuff, items, things, like get these, these, these, these.
And then people lack the skills, like, oh, you have 12 tourniquets.
Have you ever put on a tourniquet with one hand?
Have you ever stopped bleeding with one hand?
You know, those kinds of questions.
Todd, if you don't mind jumping in here about that whole philosophy of learning to do, not just having the stuff.
Yeah, I think it can be so overwhelming.
I have been that prepper for years, right?
And I have a secret room in my home that covers fire, water.
It covers everything, you know?
But there is so much in there that took me years to be able to acquire.
And people these days have the attention span of changing channels, right?
And plus...
What we're talking about here today, contingency plans, does require initiative and work.
And many times, it could really, really screw up your Netflix time.
And so my question, I'm kind of serious about this, is that people seem to be just so kind of lazy that this might sound really good, but It's a great idea to do next weekend.
But in the meantime, the Olympics are on tonight.
So my question is this.
Let's be pragmatic.
AmericanContingency.com.
Can you share with me?
People want to be told what to do and how to do it.
I presume that there's a way that I can go there, become a member, Get a 101 of some sort, get my basics complete, and then have a roadmap on how to be able to augment all 12 of those contingency areas that you discuss.
Is that kind of the idea of your service?
I have to tell you, Todd, I might need to bring you in so that you can preach that sermon a few more times for me.
That's exactly what we do, actually.
We help people understand that, and let me say it this way, there are 12 categories, but we don't hit people with all 12.
Here are the core four, and we talk about these four.
What are the four?
Health and medical, food and water, communications and security.
That was going to be my guess.
I was thinking, yeah, exactly.
And then kind of close, you know, five, number five, and there's mobility so that you can move around.
But if you get those four things, you can be pretty self-reliant, self-sufficient, rather, through most circumstances.
Now, you know, the thing about people want to be told what to do, 100% I agree with that.
And so we begin with a series of checklists that say here are the things, here's how you assess where you are currently.
You go through this onboarding course, the 101 course, and the output of that is here are the areas where you need to focus your time, talent, resources, your attention to be better prepared.
And we want them to get a broad understanding of all 12 categories and then pick one that they're really interested in.
It might be food and water.
It might be homesteading.
It might be mobility.
It might be security.
But pick that category and go really deep in that.
And we have discussion groups and forums And we try to provide these opportunities for people that are focused on a particular category to spend time with each other in that category.
The idea there being that if they get around people that are pursuing the same outcome that they are in the same category that they are, then they remain engaged and build deeper relationships that way.
Now, all of that said, we really, really, really encourage our members to join local chapters, because it's those local chapters that are going to be able to come over when you have a limb on your roof.
Sure, and you mentioned that you have an app associated with this?
We do.
We've got an app for both iPhone and Android.
And then, of course, the website.
All of the same services are available on the website and on the phone app.
So whether it's more convenient for you to type or whether it's, you know, as most people do, walk around staring at their phone all day, we try to meet you where you are.
So where I am right now is I want to join.
Okay?
And as Mike knows, certainly by the weekend I will be a member.
Okay?
Okay.
And I want to know then, so I come in and I'm onboarded with, you said, a one-on-one class, maybe there's kind of a checklist, there's something.
A, what is my initial cost to come in and be a member?
So, we have two membership tiers.
A premium membership tier at $5 a month and a premium plus membership tier at $10 a month.
And I chuckle at that because it's one or two cups of coffee a month, right?
100%.
And for the training, for the connection, That you get, that's well worth the $5 to $10, and we haven't even gotten to the equip or the inform.
We've got a team that monitors the news, monitors the weather, monitors current events, and they publish a daily, we call it the daily sit route, but it's a daily email email.
That gives you the top five things you need to know today, plus the weather and everything going on in the network.
So if you don't do anything other than just read that email, you'll be better informed than 90% of other people walking around today.
That's awesome.
Can I make a suggestion?
Absolutely.
With your business, first of all, everybody, five to ten bucks is nothing.
It literally is nothing.
And it's an investment, not an expense.
And I think it would be kind of fun.
A service like yours is for me to be able to go in and have an option which is buy one, gift one.
So that I could opt, I want mine to be $20 a month.
But with that, I would like you to be able to gift that to someone in the network in need, because there may be some who do not have the means, and I understand that.
So I'm not, you know, please don't take me wrong when I say that's nothing.
But in perspective, that's nothing.
Come on.
And so I... Can't wait to dig in.
But all that has to happen is there to be the need in my life one time to where that network, especially if what I'm understanding, it is robust enough to where it is local to my area in Tampa, I would imagine, and I can add value to that.
But, you know, that's the first thing.
So we sign up.
We go through, we get on the app, and then I presume we start doing an outreach, connecting with our local community, and then do they have local meetings, or how do we get involved locally?
So, as soon as you sign up, so our country is divided, we've divided the country up into six regions.
As soon as you join, The regional coordinator or regional support team for your region will get an email with your information and they will reach out to you and help you get connected with a local chapter.
If there's not a local chapter, I'm 99% sure there is one in Tampa.
But if there's not one and you're interested in starting one, they'll walk you through that whole process.
It's a very simple, straightforward process.
In fact, our Southeast Regional Coordinator lives outside of Orlando, so he's pretty close to you.
Perfect.
Hey guys, can I contribute a skill here for the purposes of knowledge and entertainment?
Please.
I don't know if you know how to egg burp a snake, but I captured egg burping a snake at my ranch last night.
I want to show you this video.
This is real.
Okay, here it is.
You see the snake?
He's already sort of swallowed one egg.
There he is.
He's got an egg in his mouth.
And now you tap his tail.
Watch this.
You tap his tail, and he burps up the egg.
There you go.
Whoa!
And that egg is perfectly intact.
I've never seen that before in my life.
Okay, one more time.
Why is there a snake in there?
Well, because the snakes like to eat all their eggs, and that's where the chicken lays the eggs.
But I've learned that if you just mess with the snake, he'll burp the egg back up like that.
Wow.
And why not just...
Take that snake out back to meet its maker, Mike?
Because they also eat rats.
Yeah, that's true.
We have a rat problem.
I've got rats that have more than a 72-hour food supply, by the way.
But these snakes eat rats, and so I let them be, but they go after the eggs.
That's a huge snake.
Yeah, that's pretty typical, right?
That was just from my broadcast.
But there you go.
How about egg burping snake skills?
Egg burping.
So, we have a poultry group, people who raise chickens and turkeys and ducks.
That would be a great video to include in that group.
All right, well, you can have the video.
Do what you wish with it.
All right, gentlemen, we are almost out of time for this segment.
I want to give our guests here, Tom, just to, one more time, walk us through your, like, the method for people.
Obviously, AmericanContingency.com.
How can people reach out and learn more from you?
That's really the number one gateway to reach us and to get involved with American Contingency is just go to our public-facing website, AmericanContingency.com.
That will tell you everything about us.
It'll walk you through the process of how to get started.
All of the join buttons lead you right into the membership site, which is a private members-only site where it's kind of like Facebook for preppers.
It's a whole lot that's wrong with that analogy, but that's really the best analogy to describe it.
And then it's inside that member site where you can get access to the phone apps.
You can find all of the groups of people who are working on the same outcomes that you're pursuing.
You can ask a lot of great questions and get great answers.
Sounds perfect.
All right.
Well, that's awesome.
I didn't realize we were having Mark Prepperberg on today as the guest.
Oh, man.
No, it's all good.
Todd, anything you want to add before we wrap this up?
Well, I just want to let people know that if they do a little bit of research on Tom Rigsby, you will find that he's also kind of a business life coach.
And from an entrepreneurial standpoint, I had a bunch of questions.
So we may have to have you on for another round at some point in time because I was very, very keen on some of your insights business-wise.
But this is so cool.
And yes, I am going to become a member without question.
I'll be on the lookout for it, Don.
I'd love to come back anytime you guys would like to have me.
Okay, Tom.
Sounds awesome.
All right.
Thank you so much, Tom.
And you'll see me on there, too.
We can help cover Texas and Florida.
But thank you for joining us today.
It's been a pleasure.
And thank you for all that you're doing to help our communities stay strong.
You bet.
My pleasure.
Y'all take care.
All right.
You too, Tom.
Take care.
Bye-bye, Tom.
Have a great weekend.
All right, and to our viewers, then, we'll be back after this short break with the after-party discussion.
Todd and myself usually getting carried away, so stay tuned.

We've got the toothpaste, the Groovy Bee brand toothpaste there that everybody loves, and we don't know if we're ever going to get any more because this is the toothpaste that the FDA Office of Importation tried to destroy, or tried to get us to destroy it.
For no reason.
And then, of course, we had our lawyers talk to them and then they released it and said, oh, oops, we made a mistake.
So now we have Groovy Bee toothpaste here that is back in stock at the store.
Trail mix that people absolutely love.
Remember, everything is laboratory tested.
Almost all the ingredients we have are certified organic.

But lion's mane, check out the website, by the way.
Here's what lion's mane actually looks like growing in the wild.
Pretty cool, right?

Take care.
Your own government has the power to activate a kill switch on all telecommunications, instantly shutting down all private phone calls and texts.
An EMP weapon or solar flare can achieve the same result.
Rolling blackouts or permanent power outages will also take out the power supply to cell tower antennas, rendering mobile devices all but useless.
During these emergencies, how do you stay in touch with the important people in your life anywhere on the planet?
The answer is the Bivy Stick at sat123.com.
The Bivy Stick is a two-way satellite text messaging device that uses a satellite constellation, not cell towers, to send and receive text messages.
It works anywhere on planet Earth, including in war zones or blackout areas.
In unpredictable times, the bivy stick helps you stay connected when it matters most.
Visit sat123.com to get one while they're still available.
Welcome to today's sermon.
I'm Mike Adams.
I appreciate you joining me as we are doing 100 sermons in 100 days.
And of course, I'm an advocate of what I call God's molecules.
And these are natural medicines and vitamins and nutrients that are synthesized in plants.
Through the power of God and creation and photosynthesis and Mother Nature and all that, it's incredible.
I've talked about God's economy in the past versus man's economy, where man's economy is rooted in scarcity and limited resources and everything is costly and you have to pay a royalty for the medicine or the patent, the intellectual property of the medicine.
Well, in God's economy, it's all based on abundance.
In God's economy, you can grow medicine for free.
And you can do that by sprouting seeds or growing dandelions or herbs or foods or, you know, tomatoes, citrus fruit, all kinds of things.
And you don't have to pay royalties to God.
He gives to you freely through Mother Nature.
And the laws of botany or botanical physiology, the laws of chemistry, the laws of nutrition are expressions of the mind of God.
And that's why these incredible healing molecules that are found in natural foods or superfoods, you might say, or certain microalgae or herbs or essential oils and these types of things, these are expressions of the mind of God.
And thus, it's not surprising that throughout the Bible, we see many mentions of various herbs and foods and essential oils and substances.
You may be familiar with, you know, the three wise men, and what do they bring?
Well, myrrh, among other things.
We'll talk about myrrh, but there are many other foods and herbs mentioned in the Bible.
And as this is a pillar of our teachings...
I'm going to be conducting quite a few sermons based on the biblical recording of certain herbs, their known medicinal uses, and how they were used in the Bible to support life and health and nourishment, and sometimes survival.
And in my home I have a A rather extensive library of books on nutrition and encyclopedias and reference guides, everything from herbal antibiotics to natural remedies, natural medicine, medicine from the garden, all kinds of things.
But one of the books that I really treasure is by a man named James A. Duke, a PhD.
And James Duke...
He worked for the USDA Agricultural Research Service for many years And I interviewed him many years ago.
It might be 15 years ago.
I'm not exactly sure when.
I interviewed him then and I was struck by the fact that he grew many of the herbs that he was studying and documenting on behalf of the USDA at the time.
And I didn't know at the time that Dr.
Duke or James A. Duke, I didn't know that he was a spiritual man.
Until later when I found out about his book called Herbs of the Bible.
And the word herbs is sort of loosely used there.
It also means foods of the Bible.
So herbs and foods and even superfoods of the Bible is the name of the book.
And Dr.
James A. Duke is also the author of Green Pharmacy.
But in this book, Herbs of the Bible, he cites the scripture where the herbs and foods are mentioned so that we can go to those passages, chapter and verse, and we can read about those specific herbs and what they were used for.
So in these teachings that I'm sharing with you, we're not teaching, let's say, a chapter of Scripture.
And we'll start here, by the way, with Deuteronomy, chapter 32, verse 10, which mentions apples.
As simple as that sounds, there's a lot more to it.
Apple of his eye.
It's more than just a saying.
But Deuteronomy 32, 10, of course, this was the second set of laws that God was laying down for the Israelites who kept violating God's laws and there were so many problems and, you know, the whole civilization that was supposed to be obedient to God was most often not very obedient to God.
And so God had to lay down all kinds of laws, you know, in Leviticus and Numbers and Deuteronomy and so on.
And so when it comes to foods, though, foods and superfoods are the blessings that God grants civilizations or societies and grants them these substances in large numbers when those societies are obedient to the laws that God has laid down.
And of course, in the Old Testament, which is what we're talking about here, God had to be very, very specific with all kinds of rules that perhaps today we would think that those might be assumed, like, you know, don't eat food from a bowl of other rotten food, you know, or if there's a don't eat food from a bowl of other rotten food, you know, or if there's a bowl with rotten food, don't use You know, things like that that might sound funny to you and I. Like, well, of course you're going to wash the bowl, right?
But God was laying it out for people, especially in Leviticus.
In that case, just saying, here are the things, here are the rules that you need to follow in order to be healthy, to be obedient to God, and God is looking out for your best interests.
So please follow these rules.
And of course, what happened in history...
The Israelites turned against God and they made their own laws.
And sometimes certain factions of certain family members and so on, they would make their own laws.
Or of course, you know, the Babylonians and so on.
They would make their own laws, not obedient to God, and then God would unleash all kinds of horrific things.
Plagues upon the Pharaoh of Egypt, you know, set my people free, or we will destroy all your crops and all your cattle, and you know the rest of the story.
So, remember this, that abundance, from God's point of view, at least as described in the Old Testament, abundance includes natural medicine abundance of the molecules, what I call God's molecules that are found in the foods, the herbs, the fresh vegetables, and so on.
But when you turn against God, then you lose your crops.
You lose this source of wealth and nourishment.
And I find it interesting that so many Christians today, they don't talk about God's molecule.
They don't talk about the natural medicine that's found in all these amazing plants and herbs and foods.
So what we're going to talk about today is known as apples.
But Dr.
James A. Duke...
He's quite an academic.
He studied the Old Testament.
He studied all of Scripture, but also he studied nutrients and herbs and fruits and so on.
And what he reminds us is that the word apple probably meant apricots.
So as scripture was translated, and in some cases the term apple was used almost generically, or the word fruit was used to encompass lots of different types of fruits.
But in the Bible they would just say fruit, especially in the Old Testament.
But some of those fruits would have been apples.
Some of those fruits would have been pomegranates, or figs, or oranges, or even...
Apricots, or some people pronounce it apricots.
And James Duke points out in his book that apricots are still known in Cyprus as, quote, golden apples.
Isn't that interesting?
And so the verse that's relevant here, I'm going to read it for you out of the New King James Version.
Yeah, that's what we've got here.
And remember that God is laying down the law to the Israelites, many of whom had turned against him.
So let me give you a little bit of context here.
We're going to start with verse 7 of Deuteronomy chapter 32.
Remember the days of old.
Consider the years of many generations.
Ask your father and he will show you your elders and they will tell you.
When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel.
For the Lord's portion is his people.
Jacob is the place of his inheritance.
He found him in a desert land and in a wasteland, a howling wilderness.
He encircled him.
He instructed him.
He kept him as the apple of his eye.
And there's the word apple, which, of course, is used metaphorically here.
As an eagle stirs up its nest, hovers over its young, spreading out its wings, taking them up and so on.
And so it's talking about the support that the Lord gave to Jacob.
But part of that support is also fruit.
So the word apple here is not just used metaphorically.
It's also that you have to have nourishment.
You have to have food and bountiful yields of various crops in order to have a civilization.
But as Dr.
James Duke writes, that based on prevailing scholarship, studying the Bible and the civilizations of that time, apples as we know them today were actually not indigenous to the Mediterranean, especially during the time of the Old Testament.
They were not there.
They didn't have apples.
And so they referred to apricots as apples, and apricots are native to China.
And so apricot seeds were, of course, transported to the Mediterranean.
Apricots, quote, have long been abundant in Israel and were most probably introduced in biblical times.
But it would be weird to say the apricot of one's eye.
And so the saying has become the apple of his eye.
Now, why is this relevant to God's medicine?
Because apricots contain kernels.
Obviously, the term apricot kernels refers to those.
And apricot kernels contain a compound known as laetrile.
Or, you may have heard it referred to as vitamin B17. Now, that was a designation given to it by man.
You know, God doesn't refer to his nutrients as vitamins.
Certainly not with numbers.
But laetrile, as Dr.
James Duke writes...
These are compounds that can either cure or kill depending on dosage.
And in addition, the kernels produce an edible oil that's sometimes used as a substitute for almond oil.
Dr.
Duke warns that the apricot kernel is toxic because it contains prussic acid or hydrogen cyanide, and then he refers to the laetrile-like compounds.
But we've learned a lot about apricot pits since then and laetrile and vitamin B17. We'll talk about that in a second.
But a couple more quotes here.
Dr.
Duke also quotes from Solomon, an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but saying in biblical days, Solomon said, quote, comfort me with apples for I am sick.
So that's kind of like the Old Testament version of an apple a day keeps the doctor away.
And then James Duke goes on to remind us that in Afghanistan they use apricot seeds as almonds, that in China they use the kernels of apricots as For almond cookies or to be made into a type of flour.
And I've had...
There are a lot of drink mixes, because you know I lived in Asia for a couple of years.
There are many drink mixes in Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong that rely on either a combination of almond seed, almond flour, or apricot seed flour.
And some of these are sort of instant drink mixes that are marketed for good health.
Now, just to be clear, as a disclaimer, I don't want you to interpret anything I'm offering here as medical advice, or I'm not intending to replace your naturopathic physician advice.
Do your own research on your own medical situation if you have one.
What I'm offering you here are citations from the Bible combined with what we know today about modern nutrition and natural medicine.
Because it turns out the story of so-called apples or apricots is much deeper than what the Bible itself covers.
And this story picks up in the 1950s and 1960s in the United States when a man named John A. Richardson, a doctor who had a clinic in San Francisco, he began using Laetrile as an anti-cancer treatment medicine.
And then he wrote a book, originally published in 1977, that documented the application of laetrile, again, from apricot seeds, or what the Bible calls apples.
He documented this in a book called Laetrile Case Histories, The Richardson Cancer Clinic Experience.
That book was updated in 2005 and is available now if you want to purchase it.
And then one of his friends was G. Edward Griffin, who's also the author of The Creature from Jekyll Island, who writes about the formation of the Federal Reserve in 1913.
Well, G. Edward Griffin also wrote another book about Laetrile.
It was called World Without Cancer.
That book is one of the first books that I ever read on health and nutrition.
And in that book, as G. Edward Griffin lays out, with the help of Dr.
John Richardson, by the way, he lays out the very compelling case that cancer tumors can be selectively destroyed in the body by the laetrile that's found in apricot seeds.
The same laetrile that is toxic at high doses, and this is why you shouldn't just grab a handful of apricot seeds and chow down, and they taste quite strong anyway.
Your mouth will tell you to spit them out, probably.
But some people, and again, this is not medical advice.
I'm not your doctor, so please don't take this in that way.
But some people, I should say many people, have used apricot kernels as a form of natural medicine in order to prevent or treat with the help of naturopathic physicians.
They have treated various diagnoses of cancer.
And laetrile has been described as a kind of Naturopathic chemotherapy.
It is apparently very toxic or cytotoxic to cancer cells, but at the proper dose, it is not toxic to the rest of the body.
So there's something about laetrile, and I don't know all the chemistry offhand, but But there's something about laetrile that attracts it to cancer tumors and cancer cells where it destroys those cells.
The cells take up the toxic components of the laetrile compounds and then those cells end up killing themselves off while the rest of the cells in the body are okay.
But then again, if someone were to take in a massive dose of this, they could actually kill themselves.
They could kill the whole body.
In fact, there's a warning in this book by Dr.
James Duke.
It says, warning, a double apricot kernel is said to be enough to kill a man.
It says, This is talking about the fruit.
And that's talking about the fruit, the apricot fruit.
So I do want to encourage you once again, be cautious with what you're taking in, especially if you're pregnant or expecting to become pregnant.
So be cautious about things and also know what you're doing and get good guidance from a naturopathic physician who knows this subject.
Now James Duke goes on to say that, quote, apricots are said to be a folk remedy for cancer.
And he says that after chewing sweet apricots, Tibetans apply them for eye disorders.
And a paste obtained by crushing sweet apricot kernels is used for inflammation of the eyes.
And in Chinese medicine, fruit of the bitter almond is useful in heart disease.
So I don't happen to know the Chinese name of this herb.
I do know a few of the other Chinese herbs' names in Mandarin Chinese, like Du Zhong, for example, which is a fantastic herb for kidney health.
But bitter apricot kernels are one of the ingredients that's used in traditional Chinese medicine herbal formulas, or TCM. So if you go visit a TCM practitioner, which is a very enlightening experience often, by the way, very helpful experience, they will conduct things such as looking at your tongue, which makes a lot of sense because the condition of your tongue is a microcosm of what's going on in your body, especially with your cardiovascular system.
They will also feel your pulse and do a pulse analysis And a pulse analysis is not just counting your heartbeats, which is mostly how Western medicine looks at your pulse.
It's just a number.
But in Chinese medicine, there are qualities to the pulse.
There's a quality on the leading edge of the pulse, the side that's beginning the beat or conducting the beat.
And then there's a quality on the falling side of the beat.
And then there's a quality of what happens between the beats.
And it's really remarkable that an experienced traditional Chinese medicine practitioner can tell more about your health in less than five minutes feeling your pulse than an MRI machine typically, especially for cardiovascular related issues. especially for cardiovascular related issues.
So TCM practitioners know about the healing properties of apricot kernels.
But if you know anything about traditional Chinese medicine, you also know that they don't give you isolated molecules in strong or high doses.
For example, the herb ephedra.
Which is called ma huang in Chinese medicine.
And this is a stimulant and it can increase heart rate.
Well, a few years ago, many years ago, there were Western nutritional supplement companies that were bottling ma huang herb or just a feeder.
They were bottling it as weight loss drugs and encouraging people to take six or eight pills.
And those people would have heart palpitations.
And I think a couple of people died from And then the FDA jumped on that and used that to ban ma huang from the United States, which is crazy because it took it out of traditional Chinese medicine where ma huang is part of a formula that is highly effective against pandemics.
Yes.
But you see, in traditional Chinese medicine, they know to use these in balance, not to just give somebody a super dose of one isolated molecule.
And even in the Bible, when it says to eat the fruit, it's saying to eat the whole fruit, eat the whole food.
Not to take an extract of one molecule and then hyperdose on that one molecule.
That's where toxicity comes into play.
A great example of that is the coca plant that is widely grown in Central and South America.
Coca leaf tea is commonly served in countries like Peru.
And when I visited Peru many years ago and we were climbing up to Machu Picchu, which you had to cross this mountain range at very high elevation.
It was about a one-week hike, by the way.
And we were up at around, I don't know, 14,000 or 15,000 feet elevation going through a pass called Dead Woman's Pass.
I wonder how it got that name.
Well, it turns out that if you want to make it through Dead Woman's Pass and not become a dead man or woman, you may need coca leaf tea.
And in fact, coca leaf tea is simply a water concoction of the coca plant.
And coca leaf tea is routinely served in the hotels and the restaurants in Peru, you know, in various cities like Lima or Cusco and so on.
And it's not illegal.
It's not crazy.
Nobody gets addicted to coca leaf tea.
But if you're going to hike up 14,000 feet and try to not die, then it turns out that the energy of The stimulation and endurance of the coca leaf plant when used in its full-spectrum miracle.
It's not just, let's say, cocaine, which would be the isolated extract.
It's all kinds of natural nutrients and minerals and vitamins that work in conjunction with each other to provide support without toxicity.
And this is one of the big differences between natural medicine versus Western medicine, of course.
Western medicine likes to take extracts out of plants and turn them into very potent but often sometimes very dangerous drugs.
Or in the case of coca leaves, the coca plant, it is highly processed into cocaine and then used as an illegal recreational drug, obviously, all over the world.
And that's, I don't even know how valuable that trade is in terms of Maybe tens of billions or hundreds of billions of dollars a year.
I have no idea.
But you can see the difference.
So cocaine comes from the coca plant.
But cocaine is a dangerous drug that can kill you, whereas the coca leaf tea is a full-spectrum phytonutrient concoction of a natural plant that can save your life.
And that's the difference.
And this kind of discernment is very important for us to remember as we learn about foods in the Bible or nutrients in the Bible or again what I call God's molecules.
We need to remember that God wants us to eat whole foods and to take for the most part whole or full spectrum nutrients.
God usually doesn't want us to just divide up a plant into its parts and then just take one of the parts.
Although there are exceptions to that.
One of the exceptions would be resveratrol, which is a very potent natural molecule.
It's almost a miracle molecule for preventing heart disease and enhancing cardiovascular function.
And this molecule is found in a couple of places.
One is Japanese knotweed, not something you're probably growing.
It's also found in the leaves of wild grape plants or sometimes cultivated grape plants.
But it's found in such low concentrations that an extract is necessary in order to get it to a dosage where it can be therapeutic and medicinal.
And much the same could be said with cannabinoids coming out of hemp plants, for example.
There are carbon dioxide extractions from hemp that can then concentrate certain cannabinoids, CBDA being one of them.
It's known as cannabidiolic acid, and it's a very fragile molecule.
It can be broken down by simple heat.
If you just leave it in your car, it'll break down CBDA into CBD, which is not nearly as beneficial.
But CBDA, when extracted appropriately from the hemp plant, can be incredibly therapeutic.
So there are exceptions to this general rule, but as a rule of thumb, Be cautious, especially when there is toxicity associated with any single molecule or any single mineral or nutrient coming out of a plant.
Be very cautious and understand that the most natural form is the whole form to eat it as part of a food or an herb in its whole form.
Now, one of the things that we have also learned since the days of the Old Testament is that fruits also tend to bind with dietary toxins, and they help ferret those toxins out of your body through your digestive tract.
And I actually did quite a bit of research in this area using the MassSpec laboratory that I founded, and I have a couple of patents on file with the U.S. Patent Office.
And one of those patents is called Heavy Metals Defense.
And it describes a method of combining certain ingredients.
It's all listed in the patent.
In a way that absorbs lead, arsenic, mercury, and cadmium, and other metals as well, other toxic elements, it absorbs them or really locks onto them.
And then it allows those to just be moved through your body and eliminated with regular bowel movements.
And one of the most interesting things that I found in this research, which was entirely unexpected, is that the most powerful fruit fiber for achieving this effect – Now, step back for a moment.
You probably know that pectin, that's a type of fruit fiber.
Many people talk about pectin for eliminating radiation that might be in food that you consume, and that's true.
Many people talk about grapefruit seed fibers or extracts.
That's a completely different topic, but any kind of the citrus fruit fibers are very good in terms of functioning as a method of sweeping toxins out of your digestive tract.
Remember, just because you eat something doesn't mean it's absorbed in your blood.
If the food that you're consuming can latch onto it, And then sweep it out of your system, then it never goes into your blood and you're able to eliminate it.
But the single most powerful form of fruit fiber that we found for achieving this comes from strawberries.
And it's those translucent strands that you probably never noticed that connect the strawberry seeds which are on the outside of the fruit to the inner core of the fruit itself.
Now I know you might be saying, what are you talking about?
I've never seen that.
Well, exactly, because they're translucent.
So for most fruits, the seeds are in the center, right?
Think about it.
Apricots, as we're talking about, there's a pit in the center, or peaches, or cherries, or apples have the little apple seeds in the core, correct?
And this is traditionally the way, I mean, cantaloupe, it's the same.
Look at a strawberry next time.
Where are the seeds in a strawberry?
They're all on the outside.
They are dotting the outside of the fruit.
Well how are those seeds formed?
Well there has to be a passageway of nutrients to those seeds during the formation of the fruit.
And that little nutrient highway is actually a very, very rugged and almost indestructible translucent strand.
I don't even know what this strand is called.
But I know that they are impervious to nitric acid digestion.
And I know this because these little strands have clogged up The nebulizer in our ICP-MS mass spec instruments where we test for heavy metals.
So normally we take foods and we drop them into a mixture of mostly nitric acid and then the foods are completely obliterated by the nitric acid.
It's got a little bit of hydrochloric acid in there as well, like 0.5%.
And it turns the food into just liquids.
So now all the food is It's soluble in these acids and then this acid mixture contains everything that was in the original food and what you do is through some intricate plumbing that's part of this instrument,
it sprays a little bit of that through a nebulizer Into a plasma torch, actually, and then the instrument measures, well, it counts the number of elements of lead and arsenic and mercury and aluminum and nickel and magnesium and all the other elements, virtually all of them.
But when we try strawberries, these little strands clog up the nebulizer, which has a very, very tiny front nozzle in order to achieve the atomization or kind of the nebulizing spraying of this mixture.
I can't tell you how many times I've looked at that under a microscope and I've seen, oh, these strawberry fibers are there.
Well, what does that tell you?
It tells you that if you eat strawberries, these strawberry fibers remain intact as fibers all throughout your digestive system.
And it turns out that those fibers will latch onto lead Various forms of lead.
I'm not talking about just free atomic elements.
I'm talking about various forms of lead and cadmium bound with other molecules and so on.
The strawberry fibers will mop it up like a broom from the inside of your body and they will sweep those out of your body and you will eliminate them and you may not realize it, but during that process of elimination, Pardon my words, but you're pooping out strawberry fiber brooms with whatever toxins they happen to sweep up along the way.
And that's a good thing.
And that's part of God's medicine.
God's molecules.
You didn't know this, but God put little brooms in the strawberries.
And all you have to do is eat the strawberries.
And you get a sweeping out effect that is more powerful than any other fruit that we have ever tested.
Isn't that interesting?
Now, please note, by the way, that strawberries are one of the crops that is most heavily sprayed with toxic pesticides.
Those pesticides are Satan's molecules because they are molecules of death.
So be sure that when you buy strawberries that you're buying organic pesticides.
Because they have not been sprayed with toxic synthetic molecules and it's not enough to just wash the strawberries if they've been grown with pesticides because the pesticides are embedded throughout the fruit.
So keep in mind, keep in mind that When we are practicing this philosophy here of God's molecules to detoxify our bodies, don't trade one form, one good thing, for some other bad thing that you get at the same time, right?
You might think, well, I'm eating strawberries, I'm cleaning out the system, I'm getting all the sweeping effects of these strawberry fibers, but then you're taking in all these pesticides.
And so now you have a different problem, right?
So if you can, if you are able, and I know it's expensive, I understand that.
Foods are incredibly expensive right now and it's only getting worse because of, you know, money printing and loss of the value of the dollar and so on, which is a whole different sermon, but buy organic strawberries if you can.
And keep that in mind with other fruits as well.
Often you can buy frozen organic strawberries much more cheaply than fresh.
And that's because the spoilage rate is a lot less, so the losses are less.
And so they can price organic frozen strawberries more cheaply.
Well, if that's an option for you, go ahead and do that because the freezing of the strawberry does not destroy the fiber.
So you can take frozen strawberries and yes, you can blend them.
You can put them in a blender, and guess what?
Those fibers are still there.
Those fibers are not destroyed by blending it.
Just like you can't destroy the color pigments of blueberries in a blender.
Someone once asked me that question.
If I blend it too much, is it destroying all the molecules?
Well, if it were, then the blueberry smoothie would no longer be blue.
Right?
Because the anthocyanins...
Those are the blue pigments.
So if you have a blender that's powerful enough to blend the blue out of blueberries, then that's some special kind of hypersonic nuclear fusion blender right there.
But I've never seen a blender like that.
Every blender I've ever seen blends up blueberries and they are still blue, which tells you the molecules are all still there.
And by the way, compared to the size of the blade, these molecules are tiny.
Anyway, the strawberry fibers are much larger than anthocyanins, of course.
I mean, thousands of times larger.
The fibers could theoretically be cut by a blender blade, but they would just make shorter segments of fibers that still function like a broom.
So don't be afraid to blend up fruits and buy frozen fruits as long as they're organic and use them in your smoothies or in your meals or what have you because they are a form of natural medicine.
So we're going to be talking about this quite a bit more.
Many upcoming sermons will focus on various foods and herbs and superfoods in the Bible.
And I'll bring in my experience as a food scientist.
And a published laboratory scientist who's developed methods for the quantitation of cannabinoids, for example, using mass spec instrumentation, or some of my observations about fruits or foods and testing them and which ones resist digestion and nitric acid.
Hey, here's one more note along those lines.
You're aware that you have stomach acid.
Probably.
And stomach acid consists of a very tiny amount of hydrochloric acid.
But did you know that your stomach acid is incredibly weak?
Shockingly so.
A few years back when I was working on that patent, I wanted to build a digestion simulator.
And so I had to look up how to make stomach acid.
And it turns out that stomach acid is, I couldn't believe how weak it was, a little bit of hydrochloric, mostly water, and it barely dissolves anything, it turns out.
So if you take foods and just put them in a vial of, let's say, stomach acid or hydrochloric acid, you can swish them around for hours and It doesn't do much.
It doesn't break them down much at all.
Now there's more to your digestive tract, of course, as it continues on.
Then there's a lot of bile that comes into play and there's bacteria in your gut and so on.
But if you're having difficulty with digestion, please understand that the hydrochloric acid in your stomach It's not as strong as you may have thought it was.
You do need probiotics.
You do need enzymes.
And this is why it makes sense to consume raw fruits and vegetables so that the digestive enzymes remain intact in that case.
And that's why it's also not a great idea to consume homogenized milk.
Because if you go out and buy milk, cow's milk, let's say, and mostly in the stores, it's pasteurized.
And it's homogenized.
And the homogenization artificially modifies the fat molecules in order to make sure that the fats don't separate from the rest of the milk, which makes it easier to sell, has a better shelf life, it looks better for consumers.
But that's not the way milk was meant to be consumed.
That's not the way milk comes out of the cow to nourish the baby cow.
So the way God intended milk to be consumed is raw milk, fresh milk, non-homogenized, non-pasteurized.
So isn't it interesting that in many states like Pennsylvania, the government is at war with the raw milk farmers.
They don't want you to sell raw milk.
They will say that's dangerous.
It's so dangerous to have raw milk.
It might have pathogens in it.
It might have all kinds of critters in it.
You need to buy this heavily processed, pasteurized, homogenized milk.
Which is not natural.
And perhaps in another sermon, we can talk about the differences in more detail.
But God's milk would be the milk that comes from the mother.
In the case of humans, it would be mother's milk, breast milk.
That's God's milk.
Or in the case of bovine milk, it would be the milk that comes straight out of the cow, fresh, raw milk.
Satan's milk, if you want to put it this way, would be modifications of God's milk that alters the molecules into a way that makes them, in some cases, you know, toxic.
So in every food or in every crop, even if you start with God's molecules, there's a way for satanic forces to alter it and make it deadly or dangerous.
At the same time, since we're covering apricot kernels today, it's also important to understand that even in God's molecules, there's a dosage boundary that's very important to pay attention to, because some of God's molecules are cytotoxic to cancer cells at certain low doses, but can become more cytotoxic to healthy cells at very high doses.
So in other words, you ever heard the saying, the dosage is the poison?
That almost any substance can be therapeutic at a certain dose or toxic at a much higher dose?
And many of you who perhaps use homeopathic remedies, you understand this in great detail, where sometimes there's not even one molecule of a homeopathic remedy in the final product.
There's simply the, you could say, the vibration of those molecules or the energy or the quality of those molecules is what's remaining.
And that's why homeopathic remedies can be based on toxic substances, even though they themselves contain no toxic molecules whatsoever.
And in certain cases, depending on the remedy and the symptom, these remedies can have therapeutic effects, even though they're based on originally toxic molecules.
So we have to have discernment in all of this.
We must be wise.
We must be cautious.
We need to know what we're doing.
And it's always good to get help from a qualified naturopathic practitioner if you have health questions.
And as always, don't listen to this sermon and just think that I'm your doctor and I'm telling you what to take and how much to take because that's not the case.
I'm giving you guidance.
That combines the wisdom of the Bible with modern day knowledge of health and nutrition where I have decades of experience and I'm just combining these two to give you the best picture I can to help support your health, your longevity, your joy, your abundance.
So that's today's sermon, and we will have more like this.
We'll be talking about specific foods or specific substances that can be therapeutic.
And we will be citing not only from the book by James A. Duke here, it's called Herbs of the Bible, 2,000 Years of Plant Medicine, but other books as well.
And also understand that it's not just the history of Christianity that involves herbs, of course.
If you look at other ancient religions, such as, well, Hinduism, for example, then you get into the history of Ayurvedic medicine.
And, of course, ancient citizens of India, they were building civilizations, you know, 3,000 plus years ago as well.
That's 1,500 years before Exodus was written in the Old Testament.
Think about that.
And China, same story.
In China, they had civilization 3,000 to 4,000 BC, by the way.
And, oh, I just misspoke about India.
I meant 3,000 BC. I didn't mean 3,000 years ago.
I meant 3,000 BC. India had an ancient civilization.
And also 3,000 BC or even 4,000 BC, ancient China had a civilization.
And there were also ancient civilizations around those times known as Mesoamerican civilizations, which eventually became the Aztec, the Mayans, the Inca, with their Quechua language and so on.
And then that morphed into, over time, what became Native Americans.
And in every one of these cultures, India, China, Mesoamerican culture, guess what they all had?
They all had systems of medicine based on plants.
Every one of them.
And then in those cultures, of course, especially in Hinduism and India, then those plants and those medicines became very tightly integrated with their faith, their expressions of religion.
And whether or not you agree with their faith or their gods or what have you, my point is that throughout the world, beyond the Middle East, beyond Israel and beyond the Christian Bible, there are many, many examples of civilizations that incorporated botanical many examples of civilizations that incorporated botanical medicine, which… which is God's molecules, right?
Wherever they are, even in India, who created those molecules in India?
In the curry spices?
Well, God did.
God created those.
Who created the natural molecules in Chinese medicine?
God did.
Who created the molecules in Tibetan medicine?
God did, by the way, and also in Amazonian medicine and Australian, Aborigine medicine, and so on and so forth.
All over the world, they all relied on God's molecules, which became God's medicine.
So most of the world uses God's medicine, not Western medicine.
That's right.
70-80% of the world's population relies on God's medicine, not Western medicine, not mankind's molecules.
So think about that.
And this is why understanding God's medicine is so crucial for us and for the future of human civilization.
Because Western medicine has proven that it is highly toxic, it is very deadly, And it is rooted in deception and profits, where God's medicine is rooted in abundance and freedom and health and love, by the way.
You know, instead of greed, a big pharma greed, vaccine industry greed, you know, health insurance greed, all that, God just gives you the medicine for free and says, here it is, just walk out into the field, walk into the forest, check it out, it's all out there for free, if you are wise enough to recognize it.
And that's what we're trying to accomplish here is to just bring you the wisdom so that we can recognize the natural healing molecules that are all around us.
Sometimes they're just called apples.
Sometimes they're just called seeds or sprouts or whatever.
It's medicine from God.
