Welcome to Bright Town Conversations.
Today we have a very special guest.
You've probably heard his name, Sheriff Richard Mack.
He's just known as Sheriff Mack to many people, really a living legend of modern America.
He has been all over the place arguing for individual rights, the right to self-defense, arguing for law and order in this time when chaos is reigning supreme all across the country.
His organization is CSPOA.org, and we'll put that on the screen for you.
He joins us today via video to talk about current events, which is like history in the making every hour of every day.
Thank you, Sheriff Mack, for joining us.
It's a great honor to have you on.
Hi, well, thanks for having me, Mike, and I'm really glad you had me.
It's an honor to be here, and thank you so much.
Well, again, it's our honor to have you on.
You've been very active in trying to educate people about so many things, from 10th Amendment rights to the county, sovereignty of the county, things like that.
What's on your mind the most right now as we see Antifa and Black Lives Matter taking over city blocks in the city of Seattle, storming the city hall, pushing the police out, Declaring that they're going to have their own armed guards and that they have their own autonomous zone.
Wow.
Number one, what's on your mind as this is happening across America?
Oh, good.
We can call Antifa when we need a police officer to come help investigate a home burglary.
Right.
You know, the insanity with this just keeps getting worse and worse.
And I never thought we could get worse than what we did during the lockdown and shutdown and the quarantine of healthy Americans.
And even worse, the quarantining of our Constitution and individual liberty, which is never allowed.
There's no such thing as an emergency clause.
There's no such thing as an emergency.
So now you don't get to have your rights because of this emergency.
There's no such thing as that.
And to fabricate that, I'm not saying they fabricated the...
This is a good one.
I'm not saying they fabricated the coronavirus hoax.
I'm just saying...
You cannot fabricate a reason to shut down my Constitution and my God-given rights.
Ever.
For anyone.
And you can do just as President Trump has.
He's tried to put out good information, but using Fauci was a big mistake because Fauci contradicted himself every other day.
And I don't believe in Fauci.
I believe Fauci's a crook.
And that's...
Well, let's just put it this way.
Trump has proven that it's impossible to drain the swamp.
And if he was really trying to drain the swamp, he shouldn't use a swamp doctor to convince us of what's all that's going on.
And he used a swamp doctor.
So that was a big mistake.
And I still believe in Trump.
I believe he's a really good president.
And he tried.
To set the example as to what governors and everybody else should be doing.
He was very measured.
He was careful.
He did not declare martial law.
He did not make these executive orders like some of the idiotic governors have and some idiotic mayors.
He said these are guidelines.
And according to Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson said, in our republic, we can persuade and we can reason With the people, but we cannot force them.
And that is key to this whole thing.
They cannot force us to stay home or to close our businesses or to shut down the American dream.
No one has the authority to do that.
You've hit so many points here and the hypocrisy of the lockdown orders are now just exposed for everybody to see because we were all supposed to be locked down until Black Lives Matter wanted to riot and then all of a sudden all the same doctors and nurses that told us that That, you know, white people can't protest without killing millions from a virus.
All of a sudden, these radical left-wing movements, those people can protest and there's no risk of any infections.
And also, you know, important to this is the fact that the WHO, I think two days ago or so, One of the researchers came out and said there's really almost no such thing as asymptomatic spread of the virus, which immediately obliterates basically the entire logical underpinning of wearing masks, of social distancing, of lockdowns and quarantines, and even, frankly, of mandatory vaccines as well.
Because if you know who's got it, if only symptomatic people can spread it, you can spot those people.
They're the ones who are sneezing and coughing.
So you just avoid those people or send them home.
But Mike, that would make too much medical common sense, what you just said.
You see?
And our politicians hate common sense.
And they have an aversion to it.
Anyway, the whole problem is that my doctor, who now I call my friend, Dr.
Batar, has said that wearing a mask is actually counterproductive and will make things worse for you.
Not only for your stress, but also for your health.
But be that as it may, I really don't want to get into the Is the coronavirus real?
Is it asymptomatic, not symptomatic?
You know what?
You could discuss that forever because there's been so many contradictions by experts in the medical field who have said just the opposite of Dr.
Fauci.
And mainstream doctors seem to say one thing and then honest doctors seem to say another.
And so I don't know where to get into that, and I don't know how to slice all that or dissect all of that.
But I do know one thing.
I do know what liberty is.
I feel like Forrest Gump.
You know what?
I know what liberty is.
And liberty is I get to self-govern.
I get to run my life.
Not Nancy Pelosi.
What scares me to death is that she thinks that she can tell me how to run my life.
Anybody, Democrat, Republican, or whatever, you're not to run my life.
In fact, our Constitution guarantees that I choose for me.
And, okay, I choose to be left alone.
So you politicians in Washington, D.C., stay there.
You have jurisdiction in 10 square miles, in 10 miles square of Washington, D.C. You don't have any other jurisdiction in this country.
Except at the border, to protect our borders, you have jurisdiction there, and you can't even do that.
And they can't even balance their budget.
And what they want to do is spend more money to get us out of this problem that they caused in the first place.
Do not blame it on coronavirus.
You did it!
I'm okay now.
Okay, just underscoring what you said there, even, for example, the WHO, they contradict themselves.
They're flip-flopping their positions every week or every month.
I mean, when you have organizations like Facebook saying that you must conform to the authority of the WHO or you will be banned, The question is, well, which WHO do we have to conform to?
The January or the March WHO? How about the WHO from yesterday that contradicted the January WHO? Remember when they said you shouldn't wear masks unless you're a health care worker?
And then they said everybody has to wear masks.
And now they say there's no asymptomatic spread.
And then they reverse out.
Oh, but there might be asymptomatic spread.
I mean, holy cow!
Who could keep track of all that?
Yeah, no kidding.
And that's exactly my point.
But I know, again, I know what liberty is.
And they only exist to protect my liberty, not my health.
I mean, I'll take safety in there, but it's not number one.
Number one is my liberty.
And then to keep us all safe, whether we like it or not, that's not your choice either.
You can establish these guidelines, and I'm all for guidelines.
But that doesn't mean I have to buy into them or obey them.
My dear friends, we make our own choices.
Government can teach us correct principles and show us the way.
That doesn't mean I have to do it.
And in this country, their only purpose is, let me quote the Declaration of Independence for you, Ms.
Pelosi.
That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men.
Period.
That's all you get to do.
You get to protect my rights that I was born with, my innate natural rights.
And that's it.
And so, I'm really concerned about that, but now...
The center stage now is George Floyd and the rioters and the looters and the people that want to show us how concerned they are about peace and tranquility in our society by destroying the businesses of all races.
And they don't care if they destroy the business of a black person, yet they're saying that they're trying to fight and loot or riot or protest For the rights of Black people.
And Black Lives Matter, they never get mad at Black looters.
And so I have to wonder, what are they really after?
In fact, Mike, I would like to ask every protester, every looter, every rioter, every protester, whatever you lined up there, what are you really after?
What do you really want?
Because I see you holding up signs, Justice for George Floyd.
And justice for the Floyd family.
Well, you were talking earlier.
You know what?
Last week, I had a professor of mine, a college professor I became very close to.
He passed away a week ago, and I wanted to go to his funeral.
You know, they were not allowed to have a funeral.
How is it that George Floyd and his family have had two now?
And everybody was there, and they weren't practicing social distancing.
Sometimes somebody would wear a mask, and sometimes they didn't.
And so I don't understand how they get a funeral and nobody else does, but this is my thing I still want to ask them.
You say you're after justice.
I can honestly tell you, as a 20-year veteran of law enforcement and somebody who ran a jail and managed a jail for eight years, I can tell you honestly, all of you rioters, That none of us in law enforcement support what that cop did to George Floyd.
Not one iota.
We're not happy about it.
We were disgusted.
We were ashamed.
We were shocked.
It was pathetic that it ever happened.
But a lot of things caused that.
And let's be real.
Neither the victim nor the suspect were choir boys.
And that's just the end line there.
But if you say you're after justice, what part of the wheels of justice are not rolling?
The suspect has been arrested.
The three officers who watched have been arrested.
They're all going to be charged with major crimes.
It's very unlikely that the person that murdered George Floyd will be seeing the light of day for...
Before 25 years is up, he's going to go away for a long time.
Even if he did not spend a day in jail, if by some miraculous nature he was found not guilty, which I think is absolutely impossible.
Let's say that happened.
What is his life going to be like?
His life is ruined, okay?
So you have four officers whose careers are ruined.
You have four officers who have all been charged with major felony charges.
Their records are going to be horrible.
But let's look at that.
What part of the wills of justice are not happening?
Do you want him lynched?
Do you want his home burned and his family burned and burned at the stake?
Do you want them tarred and feathered?
What do you want?
Because the wheels of justice are rolling right now just exactly as they should be.
Yet you guys want to destroy countries and counties and buildings.
Why?
What are you after?
Tell me what you want.
Well, they are wanting to translate this.
Various members of the rioters tell us what they really want, which is, number one, to murder all whites.
They want to destroy all police.
They want to defund and abolish police nationwide, which I really want to ask you about because...
The gangs would go insane at that point.
If you thought police brutality was bad, wait until you get a taste of gang brutality, right?
That's what's going to be the new law in your city, is a bunch of gangbangers who are raping and rioting and looting and setting buildings on fire and just shooting people, kidnapping and ransom, child trafficking, everything you can name.
That's what they want?
Because that's what they're begging for.
Well, it looks like that's what they're trying to do, because I have to look at their violence and say, I thought this whole thing was to protest violence.
You're against the violence used by that police officer, and now you want to do things just as bad or worse.
I don't know any of these police officers who've been out looting or burning vehicles or burning businesses or burning entire blocks of buildings.
Complete lawlessness and anarchy is what you're proposing.
And then you now want to double down on that and get rid of police.
I'm all for retraining our police.
I have said for the last 20 years that our police aren't properly trained in this country.
Not very many people listen.
Some do.
There's been some trying to change that.
But for the most part, the Democrat-run cities do not train in the oath of office.
They do not want to train in the Constitution.
They don't even want to follow the Constitution.
As a matter of fact, if they had their way, they would get rid of our Constitution.
And so the Constitution guarantees individual liberty and it guarantees collective liberty for all of us, and yet all of you seem to want to destroy that document that made America great and made liberty possible for all of us.
What are you trying to destroy?
If you're trying to destroy America to re-establish a communist dictatorship or some socialistic utopian order, If you want to look at the president that you guys all seem to have loved and admired, all these things happened under the Obama administration also.
In fact, the rich got richer and the poor got poor and inner city violence got worse and inner city poverty got worse under Obama and certainly His right-hand man, his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, has done nothing for Chicago except made it worse.
And so I don't get any of this, but it sure looks like a pile of destruction going on.
And if that's really what you want, then we're all going to oppose you.
And if you're wanting to get rid of police, then by damn, we're going to keep our guns and we're going to do exactly what Sheriff Grady Judd said in Florida.
You break into my home, you try to burn my home, I'm gonna shoot you.
And that's exactly what he suggested.
This is a really important question I wanted to ask you anyway.
Many of these same voices on the left who are calling for abolishing police or defunding police are the same individuals who claim that individuals who live in cities have no inherent right to own or deploy firearms or certainly to carry them concealed.
So they want to take away your guns and take away the police.
So you can't dial 911 And you can't tap and rack your Glock, you know?
So what are the options at that point?
You just have to flee the city, basically, right?
I guess that's what they want.
Or they want us to call them and they'll come take care of it, but they're the ones doing it.
I've never seen such criminal activity as what's going on now in our country.
It's never been this ubiquitous.
And I certainly am frightened by the mentality of so many people who think that it's okay to do that.
It really frightened me to see the white lady, the 75-year-old white lady in a wheelchair who was getting beat up by some black thugs of, I guess, the Black Lives Matter.
I don't know who they were, but they were protesting by beating up a lady in a wheelchair.
That takes a lot of class.
Yeah, and so the person's doing that, I want justice.
If all of you want justice, I want justice for that white lady in the wheelchair that day.
Well, that brings up the question, when does this civil unrest madness actually get stopped?
Because so far we've seen mayors order police departments to evacuate their precinct buildings and allow them to be burned down.
We've seen police just evacuating, surrendering.
You know, that's not policing, by the way.
I don't know what you call that.
But at some point, I mean, again, protesters have taken over City Hall in Seattle.
Are the Democrat governors and mayors going to just let I hate to say this, but I honestly believe this to be true.
And a couple other people around the country have said it.
I've heard it.
I didn't invent this.
But it really looks like that those Democrat governors and mayors are willing to sacrifice the lives And the livelihoods of the people that they supposedly work for in order to get rid of one Donald J. Trump.
And they're so hateful towards Trump.
That they will do anything and sacrifice their own economies and the liberties of their citizens and their businesses and their buildings and their structures and their infrastructure all for the sake of getting rid of Donald Trump so they can blame this chaos on him so they can blame all this mayhem and violence on him and they're hoping that that resonates.
Let me remind everybody two things.
One, these same violence and mass shootings and Ferguson and Baltimore and all the riots going on, these happened under Barack Obama.
Why is it that no one blamed Obama?
Why is it that Obama not one time stood up and said, this is not who we are?
We don't do this.
Martin Luther King, which is the other part of that, Martin Luther King, he should have quoted him and said, our leader, the one who made civil rights possible for all of us, said that hate cannot drive out hate.
Only love can do that.
And then the other one he followed up with, violence multiplies violence.
Sure enough, we're seeing that.
But I see no real leadership in the Democrats or minority groups or NAACP. I see no real leadership saying, we can bring about effective change and we can bring about civil rights and we can get rid of racism.
But it's never through looting and rioting and violence.
It will never be through that.
So join us in bringing about peaceful change and working with each other to bring about peaceful change.
The legacy of Martin Luther King is being trampled upon by these people.
And certainly, I don't believe the Floyd family wants any of this violence either.
That will not bring about justice.
And if we're really about justice and we're really about liberty and honesty and judicial system, let's give it a while to work out.
Well, as you say there, these riots, if the Democrat governors and mayors are in fact exacerbating this or allowing the conditions under which this can flourish as a mechanism to try to dethrone President Trump, that requires This to be translated in the minds of voters to be blamed on Trump.
And I'm not seeing that that's happening.
I mean, even though the media, of course, is trying to spin it very aggressively to say somehow this is Trump's fault, I don't see President Trump burning down black-owned businesses.
That's the Black Lives Matter rioters.
I don't see President Trump shooting cops.
That's the rioters.
I don't see President Trump destroying economies.
That's these left-wing rioters.
I don't see Trump doing any of these things.
How do you think they suppose they would translate this into blaming Trump?
Just an overall bad vibe?
Politically speaking, people look at how things are going in the country when they decide to vote for the president.
And that's why they had to get rid of his stellar performance in the economy.
And that's why I believe that the shutdown happened.
The shutdown happened to get rid of Trump's political Trump card.
Right, but at the same time, the third quarter economic figures are going to be record gains because the devastation was so bad.
Trump's going to be able to legitimately claim the greatest rise in economic output, you know, in the third quarter, for example.
So, you know, they're not going to be able to control the entire narrative.
Well, that's why they came up with the race riots and the riots across the country.
They knew that reopening the economy, and the numbers immediately, even talking about reopening, made the stock market go up.
And then last month, we get 2.5 million jobs created, and everybody was shocked about that, left and right.
And, you know, that was even worse.
And so, here they're going after Trump again, and literally saying, Maxine Waters says this is all Trump's fault.
None of this sort of thing was ever Obama's fault.
You know, and it's ridiculous.
Absolutely ridiculous.
And this is why George Washington warned us and predicted, maybe prophesied, that a two-party system would destroy our country.
And that's right from General George Washington, President Washington, the founder, the father of our country, the founder of liberty, the one person without him, without whom the Revolutionary War would never have been successful.
And we can put most of that on and give credit to George Washington for that.
And now he warns us.
That the two-party system would destroy our country, and sure enough it is, because both Democrats and Republicans care only about winning and maintaining power.
Now, I'll admit right up, That the Democrats are worse at it than the Republicans.
But when you start dissecting the horrible things going on in our country, like the abuses of the IRS and the horrible debt we have in this country, we have a horrible debt and we have a horrible Gestapo IRS and we have a Federal Reserve System and we have pandemic corruption in Washington, D.C. And I'm going to tell you why.
Democrats Well, you have hit on so many important points, and you're exactly right.
The amount of fiat currency money printing that has taken place during this, it's been, what, $7 trillion or something in that realm from the Federal Reserve.
I mean, number one, it brings up the question in the minds of most Americans, why are we paying taxes?
If they can just come up with trillions, then they don't need to collect taxes from the people.
I've got to tell you, I've said that exact same thing.
Why do we ever have to pay taxes at all?
Just add it on to the debt.
They don't care if they add on to the debt.
But they come and take my home away from me if I don't pay $10,000 or make a $1,000 mistake on my taxes.
You know, kicking people out of their homes.
The IRS does that all the time.
Literally throwing people to the streets.
And we're supposed to say we have justice in America?
What about the NAACP talking about how the IRS destroyed the life of one Joe Lewis?
Who donated two of his prize winnings for his heavyweight championship fight.
One of them was done while he served in the United States military.
And he donated the entire check to the federal government for the war effort.
And the IRS went after him and went after him and went after him and took everything he had.
Even took away his children's trust funds for college.
Took away a $600 inheritance he got from his mother.
And they couldn't even pay for her funeral.
And then the German that he beat in one of his first fights was Schmeling.
Smelling ended up paying for Joe Louis' funeral because his estate had no money left because of the IRS. And he gave that money to the federal government, and the IRS knew it.
They destroyed this man, a very patriotic gentleman who absolutely loved his country, and that country turned on him, stabbed him in the back, and ruined him.
Nobody talks about that injustice done to that man.
And why is it that the IRS is the sacred cow in this country that the Democrats and Republicans will not go after and will not stop?
Rand Paul and Ted Cruz said we should abolish the IRS. I totally echo that.
You cannot have liberty and justice and an IRS at the same time.
Well, it brings up the obvious question, the forward-looking question of how long can this scam continue?
I mean, it's a Ponzi scheme.
It's a money printing, fake currency Ponzi scheme where those who are in positions of power loot the people.
I mean, you want to talk about who's looting America today.
You know, the Black Lives Matter looting is tiny compared to the major, major looting that's going on.
That's a good point, Mike.
And by the way, the IRS is also burning down businesses all across America as well.
You just don't see them on the evening news.
So, you know, to put this in perspective, as you've said, there's much greater destruction happening at the hands of people in power in Washington, D.C. right now.
But this system is unsustainable.
So it will end at some point.
Do you think that we're close to that or is it still very far off?
Well, I've predicted the same thing, because, yeah, our debt is not sustainable, and it's going to crash one of these times, and I thought this was it.
And Ron Paul actually made reference to that.
You know what?
Nobody really knows.
And I think that the globalists, the economic globalists, have maintained this on life support, and they can continue to do that.
They've certainly manipulated the prices of gold and silver, especially silver, and kept it down, artificially down, because silver should be skyrocketing right now, and it's still down to $18 an ounce.
And just seven or eight years ago, it was...
$50 and then back down again.
And it's astonishing that it's not at $200 an ounce.
But this is the point on all of that.
The Federal Reserve isn't even federal and it's run by international bankers.
And we've turned our entire economic system over to these private bankers who now have an IRS that collects money for them And we require babies as soon as they're born to take a social security number.
And all of that just reeks with corruption and dishonesty, and yet nobody sees it.
And innocent people are thrown in prison every day by the IRS. And I don't hear anybody crying about that.
Or having parades.
Or having a protest.
And there are so many people.
And right now, I'll give you the name of one.
Congressman Steve Stockman.
Got 10 years in prison for supposed campaign violations.
And he was one of the best congressmen we've ever had.
And 10 years.
Even if he were guilty of something, you don't get 10 years for that.
And Barack Obama had a campaign donation problem.
And he paid a $300,000 fine and went on to become president.
And so I am so sick and tired of the double standard of the, not just the corruption, but the cruelty and the injustice that happens in this country.
And yes, I'm against any injustice that happens to any American.
And I don't care what color they are.
I'm with you on that.
All of them.
So could we say, I mean, this is a provocative statement, but could we say that Antifa and Black Lives Matter, the only thing they're doing wrong is they're just burning the wrong buildings.
They should be burning down this corrupt establishment that is destroying all of our lives, right?
Yeah, I've said that.
I've said something similar, and I guess we shouldn't because we're going to get held accountable for it later on.
But I said, if you want to loot something, go loot the IRS offices.
They can just loot us back!
Right.
And I said, why on earth would any Christian or any good, honest American citizen, why would we continue to pay money to the IRS? It is so corrupt.
It is so evil.
And it is wrong.
It is absolutely wrong.
It should have never been there.
And their whole premise of existing is Random audits.
Baseless, random audits with no probable cause, with no reasonable suspicion.
They can audit anybody they want anytime.
And presidents, since FDR have used that to go after political enemies.
And you could name a lot of them.
Even Barack Obama did it to an extent.
And people don't care about those political injustices.
And I'm astonished that we've allowed this to continue in our country.
Let's shift gears a little bit.
Let me ask you about cities.
Are we approaching a new era where cities are no longer livable in America?
Where, I mean, people pay much higher prices to live there, and yet the police are being, you know, defunded and taken away.
The gangs are taking over.
The rioters, the terrorists are taking over.
Literally, in Seattle right now, it's going to spread even more.
Your gun rights are taken away.
You know, how...
I mean, people are fleeing the cities right now.
People are getting out of New York and Los Angeles and many of these places.
Is the whole concept of being in a city now, especially with so many people working from home during the lockdowns and so on, just proving that that concept can work in many businesses, the whole concept of cities kind of obsolete at this point?
Jefferson warned us about that.
Jefferson even warned us.
He said that large cities will become just like the problems that they have in the large cities in Europe.
And so he knew what he was talking about.
You know, I remember when I was in the Boy Scouts, you know, one of my leaders said, what do you expect will happen when you get a bunch of kids together?
You're always going to have problems.
So, and I teach school.
You know, the best classes are the ones with fewer amounts of students.
If you can give me 14, 15 kids in a class, I guarantee you that class will be better than the one that has 30 or 40.
And because you get that many kids together, what do you think is going to happen?
You can't control them, and you cannot control millions of people in such a small location.
It's impossible.
And it's really sad that these great cities have this population problem and a crime problem.
And I really believe that the answer, even for those though, is still individual liberty.
When you tell all these people, you're so inept and you're so incapable of taking care of yourself, that we will take care of you.
And the dependency that our governments and our socialistic programs have created, have created this pandemic that we have in the inner cities of somebody will take care of me.
I don't have to work.
I don't have to try.
And that destroys human initiative.
And it destroys humanity.
It destroys your humanness.
And people don't realize it.
Anybody who just wants a handout and wants somebody else to take care of them, you're not alive.
The human nature is we want to try.
We want to grow.
We want to build.
We want to look at something that I created, that I did, to feel proud about, to feel like my work mattered, that I matter.
And when you live there and somebody else takes care of you, No.
How could you feel like your life matters?
And so the number one leading cause in human behavior is self-esteem and self-worth.
And those programs destroy self-esteem and self-worth.
And so when we destroy that, we destroy the respect that people have for each other.
And I think that's really the problem.
Some would say that, of course, that's all by design.
But what you're describing is that what we're witnessing today, this uprising, is a symptom of a system that treats people without any sense of human dignity, that treats people like cattle or sheeple, to be enslaved, to be controlled, to be kept down, to be used as political pawns.
To pander, for example, to inner-city, low-income black Americans as a way to get elected, and yet the perpetuation of that system is cruel and inhumane and will lead to explosions like what we're seeing right now.
In other words, it's a symptom of the whole system under which we are living, a system that exploits human freedom and drives us all into despair, frankly.
Is that an accurate summary?
It does.
And look at the depression and stress that the lockdown had.
And I was actually on another show like this where two or three other people were on.
And this one guy was an economist.
And he did all the evaluations of suicides and the increase of crime that happened during the lockdown and the shutdown of America.
And he said, if this lasts much longer, it's going to kill 10 times more people than the coronavirus ever will.
And it is horrible when you lock somebody up, whether in their home or someplace else.
Home arrest is something that judges give people when they don't have enough room for them in prisons and jails.
And it is a legitimate punishment.
Pursue it to a conviction of a crime.
And yet now they did it to all of us and they think that that's not going to have any repercussions.
And I must say, the CSPOA, and we haven't talked about this yet, but the CSPOA is all about our peace officers in this country being the guards of liberty.
Constitutional.
That our sheriffs are the ultimate people responsible for keeping the peace and protecting us.
And that means against other governments.
So when the IRS comes in to destroy my home and to destroy my rights, that the sheriff should be standing in the way.
He should practice the doctrine of interposition and protect me and my rights.
Protecting people's rights?
From other government is exactly what we're supposed to do.
And my Supreme Court case said that.
Thus, a double security arises to the rights of the people.
The different governments will control each other, Justice Scalia quoted.
And that is a quote from Federalist number 51.
Scalia knew what he was talking about.
The Supreme Court ruled that the different governments control each other.
And so, man, oh man, we don't want to get rid of sheriffs.
We want to keep the sheriffs, and I would even support getting back to where the sheriffs are, the only law enforcement in each county.
I know that's a big wish at this time, but it should be that the sheriff is the only law enforcement.
The police have been nullified anyway.
I mean, the police are not doing anything in most of these cities now.
They're literally surrendering their entire buildings and precincts to be burned to the ground.
I mean, police are just evacuating.
But let me ask you this, based on what you just said.
If there is, you know, the propaganda in the media and from Dr.
Fauci and others is setting us up for a second wave.
Everybody's heard this term, a second wave, which is going to demand a second lockdown.
So a couple of questions to you.
My first question is, number one, will Americans comply with a second lockdown?
Because I don't think they will.
And secondly, what's that going to look like when people don't comply with Didn't we learn our lesson?
And I know we have a hard time as Americans learning from history, but this is real recent history.
It's only a couple of weeks ago and only a couple of months ago that this whole thing started.
If we haven't learned that the lockdown, that shutting us down is far more destructive than the disease, then I wonder where we are.
Do we have any common sense left?
Or is that another victim of the coronavirus?
We must get back to the rule of law.
We must stick with the principles upon which our country was founded.
And we must protect each other from the dangers of government.
There's no more, no way that we should ever do that again.
And I'm telling you right now, Mike, I'm not going to do it.
I'm not shutting down.
I am not going to close down.
I didn't do it very well the first time, to be honest with you.
I did some.
I'm not wearing a mask.
If there's a business that requires it, and if I really need something in that business, I will do it.
But I'm not going to shut down.
If all the other businesses shut down, I guess there's nothing else I can do about it.
But I pray that they won't.
And anybody listening to your program, don't shut down.
Our whole hashtag, our whole new thing is never again.
Never again.
I will do everything I can within my power to help people stay safe.
I will.
Okay?
But I will never do it.
If I'm locked down in my home or if I'm treated like a criminal or if I'm treated like a slave or a subject, I will never do it again.
Well then, the question is, what are you willing to do to defend what you just said?
Because, of course, there's the whole spectrum, the continuity of violence in response and escalation and so on.
So let's say you're running a restaurant in your local town and you declare, I'm not going to close.
So, the city, the mayor, typically a Democrat, sends police.
You better have your sheriff on board, and you better talk to him before, and you better have a sheriff like Sheriff Lamb in Pinal County, Arizona, or you better have a sheriff like Sheriff Nichols out in Maine, or you better have a sheriff like Fortney in Snohomish County, Washington, or Sheriff Songer in Washington, or Sheriff...
Oh, I already said Sheriff Lamb or Sheriff Tony Mace in New Mexico and all the sheriffs across this country who have been standing for liberty.
God bless every one of them.
It's living proof that it works and it's living proof that the sheriff can.
But you cannot do it alone because they'll come and make an example of you and make sure that your sheriff knows what you're doing so he can be there to defend you.
We need cops like Greg Anderson, and we need sheriffs like all these other sheriffs I just mentioned, but that is what we do at the CSPOA, and everybody listening to your program today can become a member.
We need you.
It's not just for cops and sheriffs.
It's for citizens, and if you want a constitutional sheriff in your county, become a member of the CSPOA today.
We're about to wrap this up, Sheriff Mack, but are you saying that you In these cases, sheriffs would come to your place of business and, what, negotiate with police or tell the police to back down, that they would stand up for the local business owners and assert their authority?
Exactly.
Yeah, you say that this person has a right to be here.
I will not allow them to be run out of business because of your supposed safety rules.
Not going to do it.
Not going to happen.
We will stand for the rights of the individual.
And that's what I promised to do when I took my oath.
And this person's right to own their business and to control their property and to pursue their life, livelihood, Is their business not yours?
Get out.
And if he has to make some arrests about it, then so be it.
But my goodness.
Liberty comes first.
What about the cases where you don't have a friendly local sheriff?
You know, where the cops are against you and the sheriff's against you and you're trying to run your business, what do you do then?
Well, you better have a relationship with your sheriff before then.
And I sure hope you don't have to move.
But we're trying to create more sheriffs.
That's exactly what we do every day.
We're trying to create more sheriffs all across this country.
And that's what we do.
And I believe most sheriffs are good people.
And if they get the right information in front of them, They'll do the right thing.
And that's where we come in.
But they need to hear before the emergency, before the chaos hits, before the next shutdown, they need to hear from you.
They work for you.
Your sheriff only reports to the voters.
He has no other supervisor.
The governor, the president, the town council, nobody else can tell him what to do.
Only the voters.
So God bless all of you as you work with your sheriff.
Well said, Sheriff Mack.
I want to thank you for joining us today.
Very important words of wisdom and also encourage our viewers to check out your website, cspoa.org.
And as you said, members of the public can join and help support your organization and your efforts to educate sheriffs across America.
Thank you so much for joining us today.
It's been an honor to talk with you and I hope that we can see some peace in this country in the months ahead, but I have a feeling we're going to see a lot more chaos first.
Thank you much.
Appreciate being on with you.
