This is Mike Adams here with the Situation Update.
Listen to 18 seconds of Joe Biden at a NATO conference, basically saying what I've been saying for the past two months about food shortages.
Here we go.
With regard to food shortage, yes, we did talk about food shortages.
And it's going to be real.
The price of these sanctions is not just imposed upon Russia.
It's imposed upon an awful lot of countries as well, including European countries and our country as well.
Say what?
Joe!
Oh, Joe, he's been listening.
He's been getting an economic education from this podcast.
Oh, my God.
He's now admitting that, yeah, the economic sanctions against Russia are going to hurt America and NATO countries and that the food shortages are real.
He said it's going to be real, like getting real.
The reason I'm kind of so excited about this, by the way, is not that every day when Joe Biden, Basically quotes you like that's some kind of award or celebration.
It's actually kind of horrifying.
But it's because the media all along they've been saying that inflation isn't real.
And you know how the media, the corporate media, they try to poo-poo all the preppers, right?
And they say, ah, nobody needs to prepare.
There's not going to be any food scarcity.
There's not going to be any problem.
And if prices go up, don't worry.
It's just, what do they say, transitory.
Somehow they put the word trans into everything, like trans fatty acids and transitory inflation and so on.
Like everything's trans now, I guess, but They try to pretend like there's no inflation or that there's no food shortages.
So when Joe Biden comes out here...
It says, oh yeah, it's going to be real.
And by the way, the question that was asked of him before this video that you just saw from a reporter was the following.
Can you say whether there's the conversation is a turn to the subject of food shortages and what the U.S. will do to address wheat shortages in particular as a result of Okay, a little awkward question there.
But that's when Joe Biden said, yeah, the food shortages are going to be real, and the price of the sanctions are not just imposed upon Russia.
So what I want you to understand here is that they're setting up the narrative for why Americans are going to have to pay more for food and have food shortages.
See, what's happened is the White House has now realized, oh, my God, the shelves are going to run empty.
Oh, my God, the independent media is correct yet again.
And now they have to try to front load the narrative so that when people see the shelves empty, or a loaf of bread is $10, or a gallon of gas is $10 or more, then people are pre-programmed to say to themselves, well, oh, this is because of the economic sanctions against Russia, and that's a good thing.
So I'm so happy to pay $10 a gallon.
I'm happy to buy a loaf of bread for $20.
I'm happy to have a $50 pizza.
Why?
Because it's hurting Putin, they'll say.
That's how they're programmed.
It's hurting Putin.
Now, of course, you and I know the real cause of inflation is the money printing.
It's the devaluation of the dollar.
It's the trillions that they printed during COVID and are continuing to print in various ways.
You know, quantitative easing and monetizing the debt and all these things that they're doing.
Stimulus money.
And so inflation is getting worse because of the money printing, but they're trying to teach everybody that it's actually a necessary domestic suffering in order to beat evil Putin, you see.
So none of this is Biden's fault.
And it's not just Biden, by the way.
It's this, you know, mad money printing went on under Trump.
It went on under Obama.
It went on under, I mean, everybody since Nixon, basically.
And, you know, even Reagan.
And even Bill Clinton.
But it went crazy under Obama.
It got crazier under Trump.
And now it's totally insane under Biden.
So this has been going on a long time.
And the chickens are coming home to roost on this, which is, of course, runaway inflation leading to hyperinflation, rapid dollar devaluation.
But now they have an excuse.
And, of course, the Russians did it.
That's the excuse.
Remember that.
So now, if you have any family member who was, let's say, a Biden supporter, family member asking you, why are you prepping?
Why are you buying extra food?
Your answer now is, well, Joe Biden said the food shortage is going to be real.
Didn't you hear it?
And you should just have that video on your phone.
Just play it for him.
Just play the 18 seconds where he says, yes, we did talk about food shortages, and it's going to be real.
And it's going to be on an awful lot of countries, including European countries in our country.
Just play that for them and shut them up.
Or if a reporter calls you, why are you talking about there might be food shortages?
Well, Joe Biden said it.
All right, but if you think that's interesting, I'll listen to this.
This is about eight seconds.

And we both talked about how we could increase and disseminate more rapidly food shortages.

Remember when Joe Biden, before the rigged election, he just came on and said, yeah, we have the world's most impressive election rigging and vote fraud infrastructure ever created.
There's something like that.

He just said it right out in the open.
And then, of course, the corporate media pretended he didn't say it.
And now he says, we talked about how we could increase and disseminate more rapidly food shortages.
Now, in context, of course, it appears that he has misspoken, because then he goes on to talk about how he wants countries to end trade restrictions on exporting food and things like that, and he talks about U.S. investment, humanitarian assistance for food, right?
By the way, what it means by that is pushing GMOs on other countries around the world and calling it humanitarian crop production.
That's all that means, just so you know.
But I think maybe this is a Freudian slip when he's talking about how we can disseminate more rapidly food shortages, you know?
There's another Biden-ism there.
You know, every once in a while, these people actually don't lie.
It's just like the truth kind of slips out, falls out of one side of the cranium there.
It's like, whoops, slipped that up.
Gotta pick it up, shove it back in.
Reboot, you know?
But just let it be known that the White House has now acknowledged there will be food shortages, and I can tell you there are going to be food riots, there's going to be food rationing, and there's going to be food scarcity like you've never seen before.
And my timeline of when it's going to become apparent is August 1st.
Sort of the second half of the year, but starting out in a mild fashion in July and August and getting more crazy around October.
And then Thanksgiving is not going to be a lot of thanks being given by people.
It's like, where's the food?
And then by the end of the year of 2022, people are going to be flipping out.
You're going to have food riots in America.
So, by the way, I'm trying to think about, like, what is the Christian thing to do as I'm in the food business and we buy food by the millions of pounds every year.
And I'm trying to think about, gosh, is there some way, like, how, is there a Is there a church we can donate to?
Because it's going to get really desperately needed this year.
And I'm thinking about the local community in Texas and how can we help people?
Can we set aside some things?
And it's a difficult question.
You would not believe, and I've mentioned this before, how difficult it is to donate food to a food bank if it's not something that they recognize from the grocery store.
So if it's not like a Campbell's soup can...
They probably don't want it.
Or something similar like a processed food box with a use-by date printed on it.
Something like Hamburger Helper or, I don't know, Procter& Gamble products.
Whatever.
Crisco shortening and things like that.
Which is all the processed junk food that's tearing up people's health all over our nation.
But that's what food banks recognize, by the way.
Wonder bread.
I wonder, is that bread?
It's got no nutrition in it.
I don't see any wheat in there.
I just see the white.
It's all white and no wheat.
I wonder.
But thinking, like, could we bag up?
I mean, if you've bought any of our Ranger buckets, you know, the certified organic storable food that we sell.
And by the way, we're going to have a couple thousand sets of those available next, looks like Tuesday, maybe Wednesday next week.
I saw a lot of pallets at the warehouse today that are almost ready.
But if you've ever seen those, you know that we have compressed pallets We have like pinto beans or quinoa or lentils or whatever, almonds, that are in these vacuum sealed and then shaped really thick storage bags.
And I call them bricks.
They're not exactly shaped like bricks, but they're almost like the shape of a thick hardcover book.
And just as you can put books on a shelf, you can slide our food items into the food bucket, and that's how we use the space efficiently.
If I took, let's say, 10,000 of those to the food bank, like here, here is 10,000 pounds of pinto beans or whatever, I guarantee you they would say, we can't accept that.
It's not labeled.
Like, okay, I'll put a sticker on it for you.
Well, we don't recognize that.
It's not processed food in the grocery store.
We don't know what to do with that.
And I've even had in the past, I've had food banks tell me things like, well, you know, even if we gave people this, it's just beans.
They don't know what to do with beans, you know, or something like that.
I'm like, what do you mean they don't know what to do with beans?
Are we that far gone in this country that people don't remember how to boil a pot of beans and throw some pork in it or something?
Pork and beans, you ever heard of that?
It's not difficult.
You boil some beans and you throw a slab of pork in there.
Pretty much that's how it works.
And maybe some salt, you know?
It's not complex.
But if you're in the food business like I am, you'll quickly discover how hard it is to give away healthy, unprocessed food.
People don't want it in the mainstream.
Mainstream consumers want the processed junk food, the stuff that is completely devoid of nutrition, but it's things they recognize.
Oh, yeah, we've seen that on TV commercials.
Yeah, that looks normal.
While it's giving them diabetes and heart disease, whatever.
Or try giving away quinoa to people, like to mainstream Americans who don't even know what that is.
Quinoa?

Like, no, no, no.
You spell it for them, Q-U-I-N-O-A, and they're like, Queen Noah?
Is that some Queen Noah?
What do I do with that?
Do I feed it to horses?

Russian Energy Committee Chair says the country will now start taking Bitcoin as payment for energy exports.

Pavel Zavalny, who is the chairman of the Russian Energy Committee, this is from Big League Politics, this story, he has stated that his country will consider taking Bitcoin as payment for energy exports.
Oh my goodness.
Alright, so there's a video of him saying this in Russian.
And the English translation is something like this, quote, If they want to buy energy, let them pay either in hard currency, and this is gold for us, or pay as it is convenient for us.
The set of currencies can be different, and this is normal practice, so you can also trade bitcoins, he said.

Now, for context, understand that I believe Bitcoin has been outlawed in Russia before now.
And I guess this means that Bitcoin is no longer outlawed in Russia.
And I'm seeing Russia embrace cryptocurrencies in a way as never before because of the economic sanctions and being debanked from the SWIFT system.

I was not recommending crypto at all for years until just a few weeks ago.
What got me to say that everybody needs to learn the crypto technology, the crypto ecosystem, understand how to send and receive bitcoins, use a wallet, understand these concepts, not to speculate on it, but to know how this works.
What got me there was Was watching Canada seize bank accounts, and then Swift de-platform Russia, and then the central banks loot $300 billion from Russia's reserves.
It was really those three things, in my mind, I was like, holy cow!
Everybody's got to learn how to use crypto.
And apparently, so the finance minister here, was that his, no, energy minister of Russia, he's come to the same conclusion.
He's like, you want to buy oil?
You want to buy natural gas?
Give us gold?
Give us Bitcoin?
Give us rubles?
But we're not taking dollars and euros, that's for sure.
That's the Russian point of view, and they're smart to do that from their strategy.
It's like today, though.
You want to buy Russian oil now?
You use Bitcoin, huh?
Bitcoin or gold.
Either one's okay with us.
Russian oil, Bitcoin or gold.
You use gold, we throw in extra Russian missile system also.

I can just see some left-leaning, you know, rag writing up, health ranger recommends human trafficking for gold.

But anyway, on a more serious note, what does this mean?
If they're going to accept cryptocurrency for energy...
Then doesn't that mean that crypto just kind of became the petrodollar, but not the dollar and not really petro, the hydrocarbon ruble, as I've been talking about.
So in effect, Bitcoin just got backed by Russian commodities in a sense.
And of course, Bitcoin went up to, I think, $44,000 or something a coin, which I think is a crazy, insane price, by the way.
I'm not saying invest in it at this level, but to use crypto as a transaction system, that's genius.
That's what it's built for.
I mean, that's where it really shines.
It's almost instant now.
Bitcoin's much faster than it used to be.
It crosses borders, you know.
It's international.
You don't need KYC rules.
It doesn't go through the SWIFT banking system.
There's not a $30 wire transfer fee, which is a ripoff anyway.
So this is the perfect use case for crypto.
Now crypto can be used to buy, well, energy, hydrocarbons.
Now there's something else important about this, which is, you know, Russia, which remember sits on 30% of the world's natural resources, 30%.
This is energy and oil and minerals like aluminum and so on, and also food crops and so on.
So Russia's got 30% of the world's natural resources, and Russia won't accept dollars or euros at all.
And remember, the central banks of the United States and the UK and so on have defaulted on what they owe Russia, which is Russia's currency reserves.
So the central banks of the West have defaulted.
The currencies of the West are no longer accepted as a form of payment for 30% of the world's natural resources.
And what is accepted as payment is gold and Bitcoin, crypto, and rubles.
So, I mean, think about it.
What does this do for gold?
Oh, it makes gold suddenly very meaningful as something that holds value and has utility in the world for things that you need because everybody needs hydrocarbons.
Same story with crypto.
Same story with the ruble, which is why I wrote yesterday, the dollar will die, the ruble will dominate.
And by the way, I'm not rooting for this outcome.
Don't make any mistakes here.
I'm an American, and it pains me to see America destroyed by these Democrats and leftists and just lunatic fascist perverts and pedophiles.
You know, I mean, it's very disturbing.
I'm just telling you the truth about what all this means.

Clarence Thomas has the IQs of about six or seven Jacksons.
She is not even in the same league, and she was chosen solely because she's female and she's black, with total disregard to any qualifications for the bench.
And by the way, Biden admitted this, and the Democrats always admit this.
They'll say things like, we're going to choose a black female Supreme Court justice no matter what, even if she's dumb as rocks, right?
And that's what they did.
When they could have gone out and found a qualified, intelligent female black Supreme Court justice nominee.
The thing is, if they found a woman like that and she had any brains at all, she wouldn't be a libtard, now would she?
She'd probably have more conservative principles because that's what goes along with having an IQ, it turns out.
Yeah, you got to be dumb as rocks to be a Democrat, it turns out, because you have to pretend everything.
You have to live in your fictional fairytale construct of gender identity and fake economics like magical money theory.
Let's keep printing money forever and pretend it doesn't matter.
And then when inflation happens, we'll blame the Russians.
Like, that's how Democrats think.

It's probably a European American, more qualified.
Just about everybody's more qualified.
But they had to pick her because she's dumb enough That she won't be able to outthink her puppet masters, you know?
And that's why they chose Joe Biden for president, by the way, because his cognitive decline is so severe that he can't outthink the puppet masters who are controlling him.
That's why he doesn't even try.
He just does whatever they tell him to do.
He reads whatever they put in front of him.
And when he does try to freeform some speaking, you know, it comes out like crazy talk.
Like saying, oh, we've got to disseminate food shortages, you know, things like that.
But that's the truth about what's going on.
You know, we really are living in an idiocracy type of society.
And you notice how most of the intelligent voices have been ripped off of YouTube.
Not all of them, but most of them.
And YouTube has become a dumbed-down hub of bad ideas and just virtue signaling commentary.
And in fact, you know, we're talking about Bitcoin earlier and how Bitcoin is now accepted.
Buy Russia to buy energy, which is a very big deal.
I mean, this really solidifies cryptocurrency as a parallel global economic system, by the way.
So it's good news for Bitcoin.
But one of the things that always turned me off about cryptocurrency was the people promoting it just sounded like the dumbest people imaginable in so many videos.

And for whatever reason, you know, video pops up and it goes something like this.

All my homies and my boys, you gotta hear about this new crypto coin.
This thing's gonna go to the moon, right?
And I've actually heard videos like that.
And I'm thinking, this person's gonna teach me about finance and economics?
Really?
Really?
There's all kinds of crazy characters that because crypto has been in this upward trend, they think they're geniuses, you know, because they've never experienced the downside of the crypto bubble.

Of course, John Kerry is involved in everything nefarious and all jacked up.
Among the companies listed on archived versions of the RSTP portfolio is MetaBiota.
You've heard that recently, MetaBiota, an ostensibly San Francisco-based company that purports to detect, track, and analyze emerging infectious diseases.
But then financial reports revealed that the RSTP company led the company's first round of funding in 2015.
They got $30 million.
And then the managing director and co-founder, Neil Callahan, this is a name that appears on Hunter Biden's hard drive, sits on MetaBiota's board of advisors alongside former Clinton advisor Rob Walker, who discussed in another unearthed Hunter Biden hard drive email reaching who discussed in another unearthed Hunter Biden hard drive email reaching out to the Obama Department of Defense with regard to Now, I know this is getting complex.
I mean, it's just hard to even read.
There's a lot of layers here, a lot of connections.
But basically, it's Obama, it's the Clintons, it's Hunter Biden's hard drive, or laptop from hell, hard drive with all these records on it.
And remember what I was told?
Was it yesterday by intelligence or military-connected intelligence sources that they believe that Putin is in the process of getting his hands on some incredibly damning information?

Like, if this comes out, it's over for the Bidens, it's over for Obama, it's over...

But Trump has filed a lawsuit The mainstream media has confirmed the authenticity of the Hunter Biden laptop.
Putin is moving in on the ledgers and the hard drives and the record keeping in Kiev and also the bioweapons laboratories in Ukraine, which are linked, as we just heard, via Hunter Biden to people like John Kerry and the venture capital companies and political donors and so on and so forth.
And it turns out that the evidence is out there.
The evidence exists that all of these treasonous criminal actors, such as the Biden family and the Clintons and so on, that they can all be prosecuted and arrested and thrown in prison, perhaps for life, if the right documents come out perhaps for life, if the right documents come out and show how they carried out crimes against humanity.
And they were involved in gain-of-function research to build and release biological weapons against the human race.
What if that comes out?

He says he wants to hand out $400 debit cards.
And just think about the insanity of this.
California, which just confiscates money from everybody, they spend most of their time taking your money, and then they're going to, what, flick a $400 debit card back in your face?
It's like, here, be happy.
You will own nothing and be happy, California taxpayers.
And then you're supposed to take this $400 debit card and thank Newsom.
Oh, thank you, Lord, Newsom.
For the gasoline credit.
And then, of course, typical California consumer is going to go spend $400 on crack and hookers, you know, at Hunter Biden's party while reading his laptop for entertainment.
But just think, I mean, I predicted this, that we were going to see the spiral.
I think I predicted it yesterday, actually.
It's like, okay, gas prices are gonna go up because of inflation, and what are they gonna do?
They're gonna print more money, and they're gonna hand out the money, and then people are gonna use the money More money chasing a limited supply of goods, i.e.
gasoline, food, whatever, and then that's going to drive up the price of the goods, causing more inflation, which causes the governors and perhaps the president to print more money and then hand out more money to people who repeat the same cycle over and over and over again.
This is the vortex of inflation hell, basically.
This is a death spiral from an economic point of view.
But we're at that point, at the end of this empire.
We're at the point where the governor of California is just saying, oh, you're paying more for things?
Well, here, let's just give you debit cards.
And then that's going to put them in the business, by the way, of permanently sending out debit cards, which is a form of a universal basic income.
If gas prices are higher now and they send out a $400 debit card to every car owner in California, well, what's going to happen three months later when gas prices go to $10 a gallon?
What are they going to do then?
They're going to send out a debit card with $1,000 on each card.
People will start buying old junk cars just to get in line for all the dang debit cards.
And then three months later, you know, gas is $12 a gallon.
Send out debit cards with $1,500.
And so on and so forth.
So basically the economy becomes this just insane cycle of dollar devaluation and universal basic income.
So that people can get the, quote, free money to buy the overpriced goods with devalued dollars while the whole system is actually on the verge of total catastrophic collapse.
And that's ultimately what will happen.
And notice that the idea never occurs to Gavin Newsom or any other governor, for that matter.
The idea never occurs to just confiscate less from the people.
