California must raise taxes 300% to pay for "free" health care

The drug industry has declared war on humanity, and the prostitutes in Washington are just going right along with it.
They don't give a damn.

We have arrived at a beautiful, teachable moment in the minds of liberals who want everything for free.
The California state wants to provide a sort of state-run universal health care system.
Where everybody can just go to the doctor anytime they want, everybody's covered, including illegal aliens, and the state pays for everything.
There's no restrictions, there's no waiting period, there's no pre-existing condition, exclusions, nothing.
It's like, it's the ultimate utopian left-wing healthcare system.
Now, there's only one problem with this healthcare system.
The current state budget of the entire state of California, that is everything that the government of California spends in one year, is about $170 something billion.
You got that?
$170 billion.
Probably $180 next year.
This universal health care system that these people in California want to roll out, including the lawmakers, would cost the state $400 billion a year.
In other words, almost 300%.
Well, I mean, not quite.
Okay, more than double the current state budget.
Let's just put it that way.
So all of the taxes that California currently collects in order to fund its current operations would have to triple in size in order to cover this universal California health care system.
This is a wonderful moment that we have finally achieved.
This is the moment, soon, where liberals in California, especially the West Coast of California, has become a mecca for delusional liberals.
They're going to discover that money doesn't fall out of the sky and land in the laps of liberal lawmakers.
It turns out, what do you know, that you have to pay for things.
I know that's totally contradictory to the liberal philosophy of thinking that everything is free, the government can just pay for everything, and nobody should have to pay for anything, and everything should be a benefit to the public, and that we should have compassion and cover even people who aren't citizens.
All the illegals should be covered.
Even transgender surgery should be covered by the state, I'm sure.
That's going to be part of the bill.
And on and on.
Because this is what they want.
They want everything to be free.
Well, it turns out that everything isn't free.
Huh.
What do you know?
And it turns out that there's an entire state of people who are about to discover this fact.
Now, I know many of you listening to this are from California.
You're probably laughing, too, because You see the insanity of the California state government all around you.
I have many friends in California.
Many friends.
I think California probably has more...
We have more readers and fans in California than any other state, but our readers are these sane people in California.
And they're looking at the other insanities around them and going, what the heck is going on?
How can the government want to triple our taxes to pay for this universal health care system that is just blatantly unaffordable and really only encourages everybody to keep sitting on their couches, to keep eating Cheetos and donuts and snack chips and to keep eating Cheetos and donuts and snack chips and being obese and diabetic and having cancer because they could just go to the doctor and it's all covered free of charge by the state?
I mean, what incentive is there for anybody to get off their ass and take a walk around the apartment for a change?
You know?
To actually not lead a sedentary lifestyle.
To make healthier food choices.
To maybe not become diabetic.
To maybe not consume cancer-causing foods just with pesticides and herbicides and everything else that causes cancer.
I mean, if the state is going to cover all their health care costs, I can see some people wanting to have as many diseases as possible so they can get the maximum value out of the state for their health care treatment.
Seriously, this is the way people act at buffets.
It's like a flat fee.
One price, you get all you can eat.
What do they do?
They kill themselves by consuming the maximum amount of toxic food they could possibly fit in their bellies before leaving, even if they have to loosen up the belt buckle a couple of notches.
On the way out, squeeze sideways out the door, whatever it takes.
They just want the maximum value, even if they're killing themselves with these toxic foods.
So I can see people like, yeah, I want to get the maximum benefit out of this universal California health care plan.
You know, they'll plan, we don't need to prevent heart disease.
State's already covering it.
Have another barbecue sandwich or whatever.
Have another Big Mac.
Who cares?
State's paying for it.
So in reality, the state cost for this universal healthcare system will probably be a lot more than $400 billion a year.
It'll probably be more like half a trillion dollars a year.
So how exactly then is California going to come up with half a trillion dollars a year to pay for all of this?
They will tax the crap out of every last business and every last person who still lives in California, causing them all to flee.
I mean, seriously, if you're Apple Computer, or you're Google, or you're just a taxpayer who happens to make a decent living, and the state comes to you and says, yeah, we're going to raise your taxes by 300%, because we've got to pay for all the healthcare of these illegal aliens.
What are you going to do about that?
I mean, a lot of people are just going to say, screw this, I'm moving to Phoenix, or I'm moving to Austin, or I'm moving to Florida, or moving to...
Salt Lake City, whatever.
Moving to Oregon for that.
That's a strange day when you move to Oregon to escape government idiocy.
But nevertheless, people are going to move out of California like crazy when that happens, which means the tax base will be drastically reduced.
Businesses will relocate.
Taxpayers will flee.
So you'll have fewer taxpayers, but the government will have higher health care costs because the free benefits will attract more illegal aliens to march right in and get free cancer treatments, free heart disease treatments, free diabetes treatments.
So you're going to have all these illegals flooding in, and you're going to have the taxpayers fleeing the state.
What's going to happen?
California's going to have to raise taxes by 400%, and then 500%, and then 600%.
And pretty soon...
There's no point in working in California because the government takes every last dollar that you earn.
So everybody just says, screw this.
I'll just stop working and get free government benefits and free food stamps and free housing subsidies and free health care.
Why work?
And that's how California collapses under the total lunacy of the financially illiterate left.
I can't wait.
I just can't wait to see people open their eyes to this when they realize, oh my god, we have to pay for all of these benefits?
It's like Governor Moonbeam up there.
We're going to confiscate safe deposit boxes full of gold to pay for the healthcare benefits of illegal aliens.
No, he wouldn't say that.
Undocumented immigrants, that's what he would say.
Yeah, what are they gonna do?
They're gonna make everybody, like, force everybody to donate blood?
Like, California can sell blood to other states or something?
Like, have a forced gunpoint, like, government gunpoint mandatory blood donation drive or something?
Gotta raise money for the healthcare benefit!
Yeah.
Who knows?
I mean, it's a total, it's a totalitarian system anyway.
I mean, you got SB 277 and everything.
You got insane lunatic leftist campus kids at Berkeley and other places.
I mean, the whole system is insane there, so it's just going to collapse.
But it sure will be interesting to watch it collapse and watch these leftists wake up and realize that they're going to have to pay For these benefits that they're trying to give themselves.
So big wake-up call coming to California.
Big fat red pill that's going to get smashed down your throat one of these days when people realize that you can't get something for nothing.
And the only way the government can provide benefits to one group of people is to confiscate money from another group of people.
And sooner or later the confiscation operation becomes so big and so large and so aggressive that they end up confiscating it from you too.
And people will flee California and the whole state will financially collapse, which frankly is what the leftists deserve under Governor Moonbeam.
And that's actually a good thing because then maybe Northern California will secede from the collapsed, bankrupt western coast of California and we can finally have a free state called Jefferson.
That would be awesome.
