Hello and welcome to This is Mike Adams, the Health Ranger with SupplySource.com.
Just wanted to give you a rundown of the super heavy-duty flashlights that we carry on SupplySource.com.
These are all made by Phoenix.
And you know, I'm kind of a gear nut, in a sense, a flashlight collector, because I'm all into preparedness and survival type of gear.
And I've carried a flashlight with me for Four years now.
I mean, literally every single day in every city and every country where I've traveled, I've carried a flashlight with me.
And that flashlight that I've carried is this, the Surefire E2D LED Defender.
And this has been a great light.
It's just that it's very, very expensive.
And I remember when I first recommended this light to our readers, they said, What?
Who's going to pay $200, or I think you can get it as low as $169.
Who's going to pay $169 for a pocket flashlight?
And I said, well, it's still a good investment because the light actually works and doesn't fail.
But for a lot of people, that was just way too much.
So even though this is still a good brand, Surefire is a great light.
What I've noticed is a lot of people who are in law enforcement and who are active duty military, and I know a lot of people in those realms, you know, I served as a I volunteer on the non-profit Tucson Police Foundation.
So I actually trained alongside police officers there and met the police chief.
Was given an award actually there by the police chief.
But a lot of those guys are shifting over to these lights, Phoenix, because they feel that these lights are just as rugged.
And they've got the O-rings, they've got the aircraft-grade aluminum.
They're just as rugged, but they cost a lot less than the Surefire brand.
Which, again, is a perfectly good brand.
You won't go wrong buying Surefire, but if you want something that's more affordable, you want to get one of these.
So we have chosen, Daniel Vitalis and I have chosen six specific Phoenix lights, and that's what you see here.
I'm going to show you these and describe to you what they're good for, what you might use them for.
And why you might want to choose one over another one.
Now, how did we choose these?
Well, Phoenix makes something like 20 or 25 different lights.
So Daniel and I bought a huge collection of these lights and we started using them in our own outdoor scenarios.
For me, that's on a ranch in Texas.
So I do live on a ranch, and I deal with predators out there.
I take care of livestock, chickens, and now dairy goats, and I've got donkeys.
And we do have a problem with certain predators, so I like to light up those predators with this, the TK-70.
And this is a super bright light, as you can...
Whoa!
There you probably...
See, I didn't mean to blind you there.
It's very, very bright.
Are you okay?
This thing...
This can light up animals over, gosh, a half mile away.
It's just ridiculously bright.
2200 lumens, I believe, is what this puts out.
And it uses regular D batteries.
Again, sorry, I should have warned you about that.
I think I was blinded the camera guy.
Oh, man.
But this is overkill for a lot of people.
It's also absolutely huge.
It's almost a weapon by itself.
But it's too big to take on a hike.
It's great to put in your truck or your SUV or whatever vehicle you have out in the country.
But anyway, I've used all these lights in the wilderness on my ranch in Texas.
And then Daniel Vitalis uses these lights in the wilderness in Maine.
And he's an outdoor adventure guy.
He goes on these overnight camping, hiking expeditions.
Not just overnight, I mean three-day trips just with a backpack and some gear.
And he likes to take this one as a backup, the E05. And don't worry, this one won't be nearly as bright.
But that's how bright this one is, the E05. And you just twist it to make this one go on and off.
And it uses a AAA battery, so it's a common battery size, very easy to get.
And it's very inexpensive.
So that's a great backup light or a keychain light to have.
The next light right here is the PD32. This light is the best pocket light that you can get today.
And here's, check out the brightness on this one.
So this is, I don't remember the exact lumens on this, but I think it is, yeah, 180 lumens.
That's a lot for a pocket flashlight.
It's got a very high quality steel clip on it.
Plus it uses either two of the CR123A batteries which are commonly available and those are the same batteries that power the Surefire light that I just showed you before or you can use one of the rechargeable 18650 batteries which is also a rechargeable lithium ion.
So this is a really great all-around pocket carry flashlight and it's very affordable.
A lot less money than this Surefire light.
In fact, in my daily carry this light has replaced My E2D Defender, which I carried for many years.
It's also got just a bit of a crush head on it, which can be used for self-defense, but it's also not intimidating and it's not illegal or anything like that.
It's just a really great light.
Remember, all of these are weatherproof, rainproof, waterproof, because they have the O-rings in them.
And you can find all these lights, by the way, at SupplySource.com, where we carry all six of these.
The next light to check out right here is the LD20. This is a more narrow light, as you can see from the size, but it's still very, very bright.
Check it out.
Yeah, it's got some output, but it uses common battery sizes.
Instead of the CR123A, this just uses, I believe, a couple of AA's.
Which you can find anywhere.
You can also find AA's that are rechargeable with solar power, so that's really easy.
Now the next thing right here is the TK35. This is a very bright light and it's great for hiking.
So this can light up a trail.
This is great for outdoors at night when you want to really see the forest.
Let me show you this and I'm going to show you the power modes.
That Phoenix has built into all of these.
There's circuitry so that you can have different levels of power in each of these lights, and it's all electronically controlled so the light doesn't fade.
Instead, it stays bright all the way to the end of the battery life, and then the light is gone, and you change the batteries, and you're back in business.
But here's...
Check this out.
That's the full-on mode, and then you've got The low mode, you've got medium, you've got a little bit brighter, and then the super bright.
So again, one, two, three, four modes in this one light.
And if you actually open it, you can see the quality of the components that goes into place here.
For example, you see that the connectors here Have a circular connecting circuit that goes all the way around, so you don't have to have it at any specific position in terms of rotation.
It'll work in any rotation position, as long as you have it screwed down tight.
You may not be able to see it, but there's an O-ring right here that's weatherproof.
And then inside, you see the very high-quality battery holder that's extremely rugged, and you see that this is powered by two of the 18650 batteries, which are rechargeable using a A relatively common lithium-ion battery recharger.
So this is a really great tactical outdoors light and it fits in the palm of your hand.
It just feels good.
It's got a nice feel for a hiking light.
For those of you who want a hiking light that uses common batteries, this is what you want, the TK41. You notice the diameter is quite large.
That's because this runs on eight AA batteries.
Yeah, the common AA type.
Some people want a flashlight that just uses common types like AA's or D's or the AAA battery in the E05. So what's great about this is obviously you can buy nickel metal hydride AA batteries and you can get a simple battery recharger, a common one from Amazon.com or Best Buy or wherever, and you can recharge the batteries and still have a very high quality, very powerful light.
Let me show you the light power of this.
It's also got four different modes.
So that's the brightest.
There's low, medium, high, and highest.
And at night, this really puts out the light.
It's actually comparable to this TK35 light.
They are roughly the same amount of light.
They're both great for hiking.
In fact, I've used them for hiking around the ranch many times because I don't want to carry this necessarily.
This, again, the TK70, this is just a crazy...
Powerful light.
I only use this, I keep this in my house, to illuminate predators.
So let's say if my goats start making weird noises at night and I think maybe some coyotes are trying to get them jumping over the fence or something, I'll get up and I'll reach for this and I'll shine this.
And, wow, you can see the LEDs.
I'll shine this at the coyotes and that usually scares them off.
If not, I just grab my rifle and fire a couple shots in their direction and they run very quickly.
Yes, I do have a rifle on my ranch.
Every rancher needs a rifle if you want to protect your animals, but hey, that's another topic.
In any case, you notice that the LED lights in here Are very high quality.
Now, I'm not going to turn it on, but I want to show you this up close.
If you look inside there, that's kind of a cool angle.
You see those LED components in there?
It looks like the alien mothership is coming down.
Get everybody.
Those are actually made by Cree.
So, yeah, you can see the components.
Cree is the manufacturer of the highest quality LED components and Cree is an American manufacturer of those LED components.
So, Cree is a great company.
Their components are the best in the world, so this does not use the cheaper LED components made in other countries.
This uses American-made Cree components.
Of course, the rest of the light is not manufactured in America, but it just uses American components.
Now, what I have in here, this light uses four of these D-sized batteries, standard 1.5-volt D nickel metal hydride rechargeables.
And the brand that I found that works the best is called Accu Evolution.
I don't know if you can see that.
Accu Evolution, right there.
Now this brand, we hope to actually carry this brand at SupplySource.com.
It is the one brand of nickel metal hydride rechargeable batteries that seems to have a lot of life through multiple cycles of discharge and recharge.
So it's a very good brand to use.
I find that using those batteries in this light, I can get a lot of duration out of it.
So anyway, that's the lineup.
Six lights that you can choose from if you really want a reliable tactical light, a backup light for a backpack or a purse, a pocket carry light, another pocket carry light that uses standard battery sizes, a hiking light, an outdoor illumination light using standard AA's, or an extremely powerful long-range spotlight for the outdoors that runs on standard D size batteries.
All of these are extremely high quality.
They've passed all of our tests, both myself and Daniel Vitalis, and you can find them all at SupplySource.com.
Now, your purchase of these lights, you know, frankly, we're not going to make enough off of these lights for it to be a big deal.
We do this because we kind of love this gear.
We want to share the good news about this gear.
But your purchase does help support natural news and supports our filming operations, supports everything that we do to bring you more information.
So if you do choose to purchase them through us, you'll find that not only do we have the lowest allowable advertised price on the Internet, In other words, no one can offer a lower price than we do, but there is a little bit of profit margin in there that helps support our operations.
So I appreciate your support, but most of all, I want you to just get good quality gear that's not going to fail on you in the event of a collapse or riots or social unrest or martial law or whatever the case may be.
Get yourself some good quality lights.
They can truly be lifesavers.
Thanks for watching.
