I'm going to read to you a speech by a criminology professor named Mike Adams.
You might think, well, wait a minute, isn't my name Mike Adams?
Yes, my name's Mike Adams also, but it's a fairly common name.
It just so happens that this other Mike Adams, who's a professor at UNC Wilmington, has given a speech, a class introduction speech, actually, to his freshman class that's so So awesome that I have to read it to you because I admire what this other Mike Adams has said.
It sounds exactly like something that I, this Mike Adams, would say.
I guess we have at least two Mike Adams that actually believe in living in reality and abiding by the Constitution.
So here it is.

The introductory speech from Mike Adams, the criminology professor at UNC Wilmington.
And it's not me, Mike Adams.
It's another Mike Adams.
So here we go.
Welcome back to class, students.
I'm Mike Adams, your criminology professor here at UNC Wilmington.
Before we get started with the course, I need to address an issue that's causing problems here at UNCW and in higher education all across the country.
I'm talking about the growing minority of students who believe they have a right to be free from being offended.
If we don't reverse this dangerous trend in our society, there will soon be a majority of young people who will need to walk around in plastic bubble suits to protect them in the event that they come into contact with a dissenting viewpoint.
That mentality is unworthy of an American.
It's hardly worthy of a Frenchman.
That's an interesting comment.
How did the French get into this?
All right, continuing.
With Mike Adams here.
Let's get something straight right now.
You have no right to be unoffended.
You have a right to be offended with regularity.
It is the price you pay for living in a free society.
If you don't understand that you are confused and dangerously so...

Okay, that doesn't sound like a full sentence.
Maybe someone copied this wrong.
Anyway, continuing.
In part, I blame your high school teachers for failing to teach you basic civics before you got your diploma.
Most of you went to the public high schools, which are a disaster.
Don't tell me that that offended you.
I went to a public high school.
And so did I, by the way.
This Mike Adams.
Of course, your high school might not be the problem.
It is entirely possible that the main reason why so many of you are confused about free speech is that piece of paper hanging on the wall right over there.
Please turn your attention to that ridiculous document that is framed and hanging by the door.
In fact, take a few minutes to read it before you leave class today.
It is our campus speech code.
It specifically says that there is a requirement that everyone must only engage in discourse that is, quote, respectful.
That assertion is as ludicrous as it is illegal.
I plan to have that thing ripped down from every classroom on campus before I retire.

One of my grandfathers served in World War I. My step-grandfather served in World War II. My sixth great-grandfather enlisted in the American Revolution when he was only 13.
These great men did not fight so we could simply relinquish our rights to the enemy within our borders.
That enemy is the Marxists who run our public universities.
If you are a Marxist and I just offended you, well, that's tough.
I guess they don't make communists like they used to.
That's a good one.
Good one there, Mike.
Okay.
A student once complained to the department chairwoman that my mention of God and a creator was a violation of separation of church and state.
Let me be as clear as I possibly can.
If any of you actually think that my decision to paraphrase the Declaration of Independence in the course syllabus is unconstitutional, then you suffer from severe intellectual hernia.
Indeed, it takes hard work to become stupid enough to think the Declaration of Independence is unconstitutional.
If you agree with the student who made that complaint, then you are probably just an anti-religious zealot.
Therefore, I'm going to ask you to do exactly three things and do them in the exact order that I specify.
First, get out of my class.
You can fill out the drop slip over at James Hall.
Just tell them you don't believe in true diversity and you want to be surrounded by people who agree with your twisted interpretation of the Constitution simply because they are the kind of people who will protect you from having your beliefs challenged or your feelings hurt.
Second, withdraw from the university.
Second, withdraw from the university.
If you find that you are actually relieved because you will no longer be in a class where your beliefs might be challenged, then you aren't ready for college.
Go get a job building houses so you can work with some illegal aliens who will help you gain a better appreciation of what this country has to offer.
Finally, if this doesn't work, then I would simply ask you to get the hell out of the country.
The ever-growing thin-skinned minority you have joined is simply ruining life in this once great nation.
Please move to some place like Cuba, where you can enjoy the company of communists and get excellent health care.
Just hop on a leaky boat and start paddling your way towards utopia.
You will not be missed.
So that's the speech from Mike Adams at the University of UNC Wilmington.
And I have to say in reading this speech from the other Mike Adams, I really couldn't have said it better myself.
It's great to hear this kind of speech.
You know, this whole political correctness nonsense has gone way too far in this idea.
You're offensive to me.
You've offended me.
It's just, it's so pathetic and it's so intellectually vacuous that And it's all about this extreme leftist, this empty philosophy of pushing towards socialism and communism and political correctness where everybody has to self-censor all their speech.
I mean, there are universities out there that say you can't even use male pronouns anymore.
You can't say he or she.
You have to use these weird, strange words that they've come up with that are gender neutral.
Because, well, there's something offensive about being a male.
Or there's something offensive about, I guess, saying that someone's white.
Or you can't dare criticize Caitlyn Jenner for winning the Woman of the Year award from, what was that, Glamour magazine.
And actually, I don't even have criticism for Caitlyn Jenner on that.
My criticism is to Glamour magazine.
How can a guy be the best woman of the year?
So this guy is better than all other women?
So you're saying a man is better at being a woman than all the women in the country?
Really?
You can't find an actual woman that's better than this guy at being a woman?
A guy who's never even had a period?
Who's never had childbirth?
Who's never breastfed?
Who's never, you know, carried a baby?
He's not a woman!
Okay?
So...
All of you who have a problem with reality, you obviously vote for Democrats, and you're totally dissociated from the real world.
Too bad for you, you know?
It's just like this other Mike Adams says.
Drop the class, withdraw from the university, go get a job building houses, he says, so you can work with some illegal aliens who will help you gain a better appreciation of what this country has to offer.
Or just get the hell out of the country.
I totally agree with that.
If you hate America, as many people have been taught by universities today, these young kids are being taught to hate the Constitution, hate the Bill of Rights, to hate America, to hate the American flag, to hate the founders of America.
If you're one of those people, get the hell out of the country.
We don't want you here.
You belong somewhere else.
Go to Communist China.
Go to North Korea.
They'd love you there.
Go to Cuba.
Go to Venezuela.
I hear their economy is really doing great right now.
You can stand in line with the other socialists and praise your dear leader.
But if you are a true American, stop being silenced and intimidated by these weenie, pansy, political, correct, PC bro college types.
They're nothing but intellectual weenies.
And they need to be put in their place.
It's time to just tell the truth.
Caitlyn Jenner is a guy.
It's a cross-dressing guy.
It's not a woman.
Period.
Not a woman at all.
End of story.
I mean, seriously, if you think Caitlyn Jenner is a woman just because he announced that he wants to be a woman and he dresses like a woman, he had a makeover, do you think that he could also announce he's a black woman?
What if Caitlyn Jenner said, well, I'm tired of being a white woman, now I self-identify as being black and Does that mean we have to call him an African-American woman?
Does that mean he's going to win all the awards from the African-American media?
Does that mean that black Caitlyn Jenner is a better black woman than all the other black women?
Really?
Give me a break.
You know, by the way, I think it's tough to be a black woman in this country today.
I think that's a tough job.
Raising kids, trying to hold down a job, trying to hold down a relationship with your husband or the father of your kids if you're not married.
I think being a black woman is a tough job.
And to think that someone like Caitlyn Jenner can come along and just say, I'm black and I'm a woman and just take, like suddenly he's the most amazing black woman because he says he is?
This is beyond delusional.
This is total insanity.
It's the insanity of the left.
And it's the same insanity that says you can't criticize Obama because he's black.
Give me a break.
Of course you can.
It doesn't matter what his skin color is.
His socioeconomic policies are total disaster.
We sure as heck can criticize Obama's policies.
Nobody says that...
America's joblessness is caused by Obama's skin color.
No one says that.
That would be racist.
No one says that.
They say, no, his ideas are bad.
His policies are bad.
That doesn't make you a racist to say that.
Same thing if you criticize Hillary Clinton for something.
It doesn't make you a sexist just because she happens to be a woman.
Nobody says that her policies are due to the fact that she is a woman.
No.
Her policies are due to the fact that she's a communist, That's the truth.
And the same thing with illegal immigrants crossing the border.
Donald Trump said, hey, they're rapists and murderers.
And some of them are.
Some of them are.
So why don't we have borders?
Why don't we ask people to follow the law?
Why don't we demand it?
We have some people that immigrate legally by filling out the forms, waiting in line, following the law.
We welcome those people.
Why should we welcome criminals that break the law and cut in line and bypass all those rules and just rush in and suddenly want entitlements and free education and protection from federal laws in sanctuary cities so they can rape and murder and pillage and collect entitlements.
It's ridiculous.
So I agree with this Mike Adams.
It's time to stop being intimidated and start telling the truth.
I sure will.
