Welcome to Reader Q&A about Collapse.News.
This is Mike Adams, the Health Ranger.
And Collapse.News is one of our new partner sites, which is an independently owned and operated content site that we are launching and publicizing as part of our free speech efforts to awaken and inform and even empower the public.
On the important issues of our day.
So we have a lot of questions that readers have submitted about Collapse.News, which I am going to cover here.
I'm kind of paraphrasing some of the questions, but if you haven't seen the website yet, go to Collapse.News.
And the slogan there is, your front row seat when stuff hits the fan.
Now, this website is suddenly very, very popular.
A lot of people are aware of events coming, converging, let's say, in the September slash October time frame of 2015, or at least that's when a lot of people are concerned about things happening.
No one knows exactly when something's going to happen.
It's too difficult to predict the time, the actual time line.
No one has a crystal ball, but we know that some things are inevitable, such as an economic collapse, a global debt collapse, a collapse of the socialist welfare state in many different countries around the world, collapse of fractional reserve banking and the federal reserve banking system.
We know there's going to be a collapse of faith in the dollar, for example.
We know there's an ecological collapse happening, a collapse in the ocean ecosystems, a collapse in topsoil and forestation because there's a global deforestation effort.
So we know that many so-called collapses are inevitable, but we don't know exactly when they're going to happen.
Nevertheless, Collapse.News is working to document the decline in all of these systems, but more importantly, to help you understand what's coming so that you can take steps, you can take action to protect yourself from these imminent collapses and thereby not be harmed by them nearly as much.
There are things that you can do financially to insulate yourself.
To, you know, spread the eggs around so that all your eggs aren't in one basket, so to speak, using that metaphor.
There are many things that you can do to be safer, to be better informed, to be smart about what's going on.
You can have more redundancies in your life.
You can have food redundancy by growing some of your own food, for example.
You can have financial redundancy by investing in some gold or silver, precious metals.
You can own land instead of owning, you know, You don't want to have all your eggs or investments in the bond market, for example, because bonds are going to collapse before very long.
So the purpose of this site is to not just document the collapse, but to help you be insulated from what is going on and thereby protect your safety.
So let's get right to the questions for Collapse.News, but keep in mind as I answer these questions that I am not the writer for Collapse.News, although I may contribute articles from time to time.
I am not the one writing every single article that you see on the site.
So there may be things that you see there that are opposite from what I happen to believe or my assessment or analysis.
So don't think that everything that you see on Collapse.News is my take on things.
There may be some variations.
The first question, does the site only cover potential collapses in the U.S., or does it cover issues globally?
The answer is globally.
And there's an important reason why.
It's not just a U.S. site.
The banking system that is headed for collapse is not a regional collapse.
It is a global systemic collapse.
It is the interconnected nature of global banking that, in fact, makes it more susceptible to systemic collapse.
And I've discussed this in a mini-documentary video on YouTube about this.
In fact, I think it's called The Risk of Systemic Collapse.
And because of that, we have to cover this from a global perspective.
In fact, globally, the United States may fare well financially or economically in the short term as people flee the economic collapse in the European Union or the collapse in China that's taking place right now.
They may flee to the relative safety of the United States in the short term, and they could actually drive up the US stock market in that short term.
But in the long run, all the global banking systems that are based on debt will collapse, and they will likely experience a cascading collapse.
So we will be covering this on Collapse.News no matter where it takes place on our planet.
Next question.
Does the site cover the food supply collapse or agriculture collapse or does it just focus on economics?
No.
The answer is we focus on the collapse of all of these systems.
So yes, we're going to cover the collapse of the food supply, which has already begun.
It's already taking place.
The food lines in America are longer than we've ever seen, including versus the Great Depression.
We have almost 49 million people on government food aid right now, and the food banks, the food soup kitchens across America cannot keep up with the long lines and the demand for emergency food.
We are going to cover this.
We're going to try to promote solutions, which are based, of course, on nutrition and food distribution through local food production.
In other words, redundant localized food production systems.
We will be promoting local food production in cities, urban gardening, even urban farming, if you will.
We'll be promoting the diversity of the seed supply.
We are wholly opposed to any corporation monopolizing the seed supply, monopolizing food systems, the Monsantos of the world that try to claim intellectual property on seeds and sue farmers.
That is a horrible evil against humanity.
It's a violation of fundamental human rights, which is the right to plant a seed and grow food for your own family and your own community.
So we are fighting for local food production.
We are fighting for seed security.
We are fighting for food redundancy.
And you're going to see that covered on Collapse.News.
Next question is a topic question.
What about environmental collapse and environmental disasters?
Are we going to cover that?
The answer is absolutely, yes.
We will be covering, in fact I've already mentioned some of this, we are currently suffering the planet's sixth great extinction.
Humanity is unleashing an extinction level event.
And this is an extinction caused by the mass expansion of humanity, mass environmental contamination and pollution with heavy metals, with radiation from Fukushima, nuclear bomb testing.
The collapse of ocean wildlife or marine ecosystems, actually, aquaculture systems, the web of life in the oceans is collapsing throughout many regions of the world due to overfishing and radiation from Fukushima.
We are seeing the collapse of topsoil, the collapse of forestation.
The mass clear-cutting of forests is massively disturbing the hydrologic cycle of water transpiration from trees, where water is absorbed and then re-emitted back into the air to promote more rainfall farther inland where water is absorbed and then re-emitted back into the air to promote
As clear-cutting has taken place of forest systems, it has caused inland droughts and the collapse of farming systems inland.
We're seeing this in places like Texas, Oklahoma, in India and China as well.
We're also going to cover the collapse of underground freshwater aquifers, which is happening globally in places like California, of course, but also India, China, Eastern Europe, Russia, India, South America, and, of course, the continental United States.
So yes, the answer is yes.
We're going to cover the collapse of these systems.
Basically, humanity is destroying the planet at every level.
Destroying the natural resources, destroying the web of life, destroying the pristine nature of soils and oceans, destroying everything.
And so humanity is a civilization in collapse.
Many people believe that humanity will not survive this collapse.
I may be more of an optimist in that area.
I think that there is a path to survival and recovery, but it's not going to work with today's thinking.
We're going to have to have a revolution in thinking about how to live in harmony with nature.
And I'm not talking about global warming, by the way.
The global warming data has all been faked, by the way.
Complete fraud, complete science fraud, totally faked.
It doesn't mean that the temperature isn't changing, but it's not changing in the way that the NOAA is telling it is.
They fake the data.
It's total fraud.
Humanity is destroying the planet in other ways.
In other ways that are probably even more drastic through clear-cutting forests and chemical contamination and so on.
The mass spread of herbicides, genetic pollution through GMOs and so on.
Humanity is destroying the planet, no doubt about it.
But the NOAA is faking the data on global warming.
So they're focused on the wrong thing.
It always blows my mind how environmentalists are...
Say, you know, we're going to die from global warming, but they don't talk about GMOs, really?
Like, what's wrong with you people?
Focus on the wrong thing.
Nevertheless, nevertheless, we're going to cover all these things, including climate change.
We'll look at that on Collapse.News, or I should say the writers will look at that.
And in fact, their view may differ from mine, so we'll see.
We'll see what comes out of that.
Next question, will we offer solutions to collapse?
Yes, absolutely.
I don't want to just leave readers with a doom and gloom attitude.
I want to empower you, and this will be something that I insist on, actually, for those who are contributing to the site.
You have to cover solutions, not just what's wrong.
You better give people some solutions, because we can, at least individually, insulate ourselves against the worst effects of all of this.
Even if society as a whole decides to self-destruct and commit mass suicide, which some think that may be happening, there are things that individually you can do or locally or at the community level To survive what's coming, survive and thrive, reform, regrow, restart the next society and so on.
I believe this is important.
I think that this is my responsibility as the publisher, the enabler of this content revolution that we are sitting on top of here with new websites like Collapse.News and FukushimaWatch.com and Glitch.News and Natural.News, all these sites that we are launching.
We have a responsibility to humanity to help empower people with positive solutions that they can use to make a difference locally and in their own lives and perhaps rebuild society after the collapse.
So, you know, perhaps we should have a site called rebuilding.news or something.
But there will be a rebuilding.
Humanity is not going to kill itself off completely, I don't think.
After the collapse, there will be a renewal.
And I intend to be here and help empower people with the kind of solutions.
What kind of solutions can we use for the rebuilding, for the renewal?
Well, the answer is very simple.
It's all right in front of us, and it's stuff that I practice every single day.
Permaculture.
Permaculture is part of the solution, folks.
This is why I have given away free plans, free ideas, free food grow systems to schools and universities across America, hundreds of systems through foodrising.org, a non-profit effort to empower people with ways to grow their own food.
And there are children, thousands of children all across America who have learned how to grow their own food because of the efforts that I've put in place.
because of this dedication to helping people regrow their future by learning how to grow their own food So permaculture is part of the solution, and yes, we're going to cover that on Collapse.News.
But it's also about living sustainably.
It's also about living with a sense of preparedness and sustainability.
How do you live in a way that will outlast the collapse of the natural resources that are being used up, such as fresh water, such as precious rare earth metals that are used, that are being mined out of the ground, and many of them are disappearing?
How do you live sustainably?
How do you save your own seeds?
How do you use animal composting to feed your garden so that you can grow nutritious vegetables?
How do you use ocean minerals to put the minerals back into your food so that you can live a life that's preventing disease instead of growing disease?
How do you prevent cancer?
How do you prevent heart disease, diabetes, kidney disorders, Alzheimer's, dementia, all these things?
These are the answers that we believe in.
The answers are right in front of us.
The answers are super, super simple.
And they don't involve, you know, pharmaceuticals.
They don't involve GMOs.
We don't need any of that.
In fact, we can't have that if we hope to rebuild a sustainable society.
Those models are what's destroying society.
You know, big corporations poisoning the planet, poisoning the people for profit.
Poisoning the children with psychiatric drugs for profit.
That system is collapsing.
That's what we're documenting at Collapse.News, but we're also ready to replace that outdated system once it collapses with a new system based on sustainability, a system that can actually empower people with simple, readily available solutions that really, really work, like permaculture, like remineralizing the food supply with ocean minerals, like water conservation, rainwater collection.
It really, really works to live in this way, and these are the things that we will promote on Collapse.com.
And by the way, along with that, just an overall attitude is the attitude of self-reliance.
And along with that comes Second Amendment rights in America, owning your own firearms, learning how to use a firearm, self-defense, protecting your family, protecting your property through the use of firearms to help create law and order in your local community, to help defend yourself against bad guys who are trying to come in and loot and steal and to help defend yourself against bad guys who are trying to come in and loot and steal and rob and rape and You better get on board with understanding that you've got to have a firearm, more than one actually.
You need a rifle, a pistol, and a shotgun.
You need those three things, and you need to know how to use all three of those things in order to be safe in a society that is suffering collapse.
But you have to use them ethically.
You have to use them in a way that respects the law and order of society.
You can't be a renegade, you know, vigilante running around shooting whoever you want.
No, you need to work with your local community to create law and order through the applied use of firearms in alignment with common law.
So that you are creating a safe society where people can barter, people can trade, people can engage in commerce, people can travel safely on the common roads, people can worship the way they want to worship.
We have freedom of speech, freedom of religion.
You have the right to farm, the right to trade seeds, the right to trade food, the right to protect your property, and so on and so forth.
These are things that I believe in.
These are fundamental pillars of a sustainable society, and these are things that we will promote and discuss on Collapse.News.
All right, getting to some more questions.
Will the site offer prophecies, predictions, end times, commentary, things like that?
Okay.
I don't know.
Maybe.
But it certainly won't focus on that.
It's not a prophecy website.
It's more of a practical website.
There are prophecies, there are predictions, there are people who have had visions.
I myself have had some intense dreams that I've even talked about publicly.
One of them had a number show up in my dream that was 611.
I didn't know what it meant.
I published an article talking about that number and my vision of a Greek island being destroyed by a nuclear explosion.
I put it out to the public and asked people, what does this mean?
And some readers came back to me and said, well, in the Bible, and by the way, I'm not a Bible scholar, so I didn't know this, but in the Bible, chapter 6, verse 11, says that God is going to destroy the earth because humanity has become a bunch of pathetic scumbags, basically, I'm paraphrasing, and they've destroyed the earth and destroyed the culture.
Like, wow!
You know, I had no idea that that number had ties to that verse.
So I'm not that much into, you know, I don't claim to be a prophet.
I don't know what any of this symbolism means until other people interpret it.
If there are things that kind of resonate out there, we will ask questions.
We will present the ideas to you and ask you what you think about it.
Maybe there are other people who are having visions.
Maybe there are visions that are common among different people.
Maybe there are things that have already been written in ancient scripture or ancient documents that are now coming to light that suddenly make sense based on current events.
Could we cover those?
Yeah, we could.
But that's not the focus of the website.
It's not a prophecy site.
It's really more about practical solutions.
But we're not opposed to covering prophecy if it seems to make sense.
You know, there's a lot of talk right now about the Shemitah.
And even the authors of that book, The Fourth Turning, talk about generational cycles.
There's a seven-year cycle that's coming due in 2015.
There are generational cycles that are coming due in the next five years or so.
There are a lot of cycles of human civilization, cycles rising and falling and expansion and contraction and abundance and then collapse and so on.
Many people believe that we are in a cycle of collapse, which will be followed by a time of renewal.
So yeah, we'll discuss that because I think humanity is cyclical.
Human psychology is cyclical.
The cosmos is cyclical, clearly.
So yeah, we're in for some interesting times.
We will talk about it.
Next question, how often is the site updated?
Well, at least one article every weekday will be posted on the site, but probably a lot more.
More importantly, when things do start to collapse, whether it's a banking collapse, stock market collapse, you know, an ecological issue, whatever, we will ask writers to contribute more articles that focus on what's happening at that time.
So we will have a special focus as conditions warrant.
So in that case, we might publish four or five articles a day, just depending on what's happening.
Last question I have is, what about the social media?
Does it have a Facebook page?
Does it have a Twitter page?
Are we going to be posting on social media?
Yes.
All these pages already exist.
You can go onto the website.
I don't recall what they are at the moment, but it's probably, on Facebook, it's probably Collapse-News or Collapse-News or something.
You can follow us on Facebook, on Twitter, and everything will be posted to social media in real time as it is unfolding.
So, if you are wanting to follow these sites on social media, just go to Collapse.News and find the correct URLs right there, the correct pages, and you'll be able to follow it there very easily.
Alright, in summary, Collapse.News is an exciting new website that's going to be covering the collapse of everything and offering solutions, offering ways for you to protect yourself from the collapse as it is happening.
If you don't think that there are any collapses happening, then don't read the website.
Go read something else.
That's fine.
But if you do understand that many of the things humanity is engaged in are coming to an end because they're not sustainable, then Collapse.News is an important destination to keep you aware and informed and up-to-date on what's happening.
I will personally be contributing to the website from time to time.
I may be contributing articles on financial survival or preparedness survival, how to live off the land, how to move out to the country and make it work, because I live on a ranch.
I raise animals.
I've raised as much as 70% of my own food supply.
I've done rainwater collection.
I've built solar systems in the past.
I've milked goats for raw milk.
I've raised chickens.
I'm very proficient in firearms and hand-to-hand combat, handgun combat trained as well.
I have a lot to offer people in these areas of how to survive, how to thrive, how to live out in the country and make it work.
So I'll be offering that advice and information as we move forward here.
My goal is to help create a better society, to create a more resilient, more redundant society.
When I look at what's happening in society out there, I see mass delusion, mass insanity, mass stupidity on an almost cosmic scale.
Humanity is on a path of self-destruction, actual suicide.
And although I can't stop humanity from committing suicide, I can help individuals who are willing to listen and willing to learn, I can help you survive.
And then I can empower you with the knowledge and information that you need to help rebuild the next society after the big collapse comes.
And I don't know exactly what's coming.
I don't know if it's going to be an EMP weapon that takes out the power grid.
I don't know if a giant space rock is going to crash into the Atlantic Ocean and send a two-mile-high tidal wave destroying the Atlantic seacoast and most of the UK and cities in Europe.
I don't know if it's going to be just we run out of I don't know if it's going to be that we just have a global blight in, let's say, wheat crops contaminated by GMOs.
Genetic pollution causes a massive wipeout of the food supply.
I don't know.
I don't know if it's going to be, you know, a solar flare that takes out the power grid.
You know, what's it called?
A coronal mass ejection, a CME event.
That's possible.
I don't know if Yellowstone is going to blow its top and shroud the planet in dust for a year or two and collapse the food supply.
Or if we're just going to have an economic collapse followed by mass misery and beyond depression, but an actual economic collapse in countries around the world.
I don't know what's going to strike first, but I do know that the path we're on is unsustainable.
So, I want to empower people to be resilient, to have the courage, to have the knowledge, to survive what's coming, and help rebuild the next society so that humanity can move forward.
I want to see humanity survive these hard times and grow up and mature.
I want to see a humanity that stops acting like a bunch of pathetic little children That starts acting like responsible adults and starts thinking ahead for the future.
How do we create a better society that's in harmony with our planet so that we can gain knowledge, so that we can advance the sciences, we can advance philosophy, we can advance the holistic understanding of our place in the universe.
We deserve to grow up and move forward, but we're not going to be able to do that until we get past the collapse that's coming and start realizing that we have to think more like responsible adults in order to just exist in our future.
