| Welcome to Awakenings. | |
| With Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, in 10 minutes we share an important piece of wisdom to help awaken you to what's going on in the world around you. | |
| And in this episode, I'm actually sharing something very personal with you. | |
| I want you to know why I'm awakened and what drives me to do what I do as the editor of Natural News Network. | |
| One of the most influential and widely followed voices in the realm of holistic medicine and now even the scientific scrutiny of our foods and environment. | |
| What's behind it? | |
| Well, the answer is that this is actually a spiritual calling for me. | |
| No one would do what I do for entrepreneurial reasons alone, for economic reasons alone. | |
| And that's why there are so few people who have ever pursued this with the passion that I bring to it. | |
| There are a lot of people who do very well and who have their own websites and pursue the promotion of nutritional solutions and holistic medicine and things like that. | |
| I'm humbled by all of the amazing efforts out there. | |
| But very few have taken it to the level that I've been able to take it to. | |
| I want you to know that that's because this is a divinely inspired mission. | |
| And I do believe that this world that we're all in is a testing ground for our souls. | |
| I believe that maintaining our philosophy, our ethics, our values during this lifetime is the most important thing that we could possibly do. | |
| And that's why I don't compromise. | |
| That's why I haven't sold out even though there have been offers and temptations. | |
| This is why I don't cover for any body or any company or any product. | |
| If I'm testing a product in the lab and it has high heavy metals in it, I will tell the public regardless of whose toes that I happen to step on. | |
| I'm not a member of a gang or a tribe that is called the natural health industry or conventional medicine or pharma or anything like that. | |
| I'm not a member of a tribe. | |
| I am beholden to core divine philosophies. | |
| And I feel divinely inspired in this work every single day. | |
| And that's what has helped me to be able to survive a very competitive marketplace, to be able to survive sometimes the attacks out there by, you know, the vaccine pushers or the GMO pushers or the mercury pushers or all the poisoners and the propagandists that are out there that want you to poison yourself because that's their revenue model. | |
| And so they attack people like me. | |
| And their attacks have no impact because they are, in effect, if I can use this term, they are godless. | |
| They do not believe in anything beyond this physical world. | |
| They don't believe in a creator. | |
| They don't believe in a divine wisdom. | |
| They don't believe in consciousness. | |
| They don't believe in a spiritual world beyond this physical world, and so they have nothing to live for. | |
| They have nothing to stand for. | |
| They don't believe in anything other than their own personal greed, their own personal power. | |
| And they have no ethics and values because they think it doesn't matter. | |
| They think at the end of this life that it lights out that your person is destroyed, they think. | |
| Your soul doesn't exist, so none of it matters. | |
| Well, I don't subscribe to that. | |
| I subscribe to the belief that our physical lifetimes here are very temporary, but our souls are eternal. | |
| That it is our non-physical spirit which interacts with our physical brain to coordinate our actions, our decisions, our biochemistry here in this lifetime. | |
| But when our bodies fail us, there's more to our existence beyond this lifetime. | |
| And I'm reminded of the book Proof of Heaven by Eben Alexander, a neurosurgeon who had a life-after-death experience. | |
| He didn't believe in any of this either, but after his experience he came back and he felt so compelled by his contact with what he now calls a God-like consciousness. | |
| He felt so compelled to write this book, even as he was ridiculed by all of his former colleagues and co-workers, so-called skeptics who don't believe in anything that they can't see under a microscope. | |
| But Eben Alexander wrote the truth about his experience, and he even said that this planet, this realm, is a testing ground. | |
| And that even though most of the universe is filled with love, and that high vibration energy of love, that this world, this realm in particular, has the highest concentration of evil and deception and destruction of any has the highest concentration of evil and deception and destruction of any realm in the multiverse, multiple galaxies, multiple | |
| And that because of that, the souls that are here are souls that are subjected to the most extreme tests possible. | |
| the most demanding tests, and that the souls that can resist evil and destruction and that can hold life sacred and stand their ground and maintain their ethics and their values in this realm, that those are the strongest souls possible. | |
| Of all. | |
| In all of eternity. | |
| In all of reality beyond this realm that we understand, that we inhabit. | |
| It's a very inspiring message. | |
| And I happen to believe it's true. | |
| Now, I'm not a member of any particular organized religious group, but I am a very, very spiritual person. | |
| And I feel touched by that divine inspiration and that divine energy every single day when I do what I do. | |
| And the common thread of what I do, whether I'm exposing some dangerous food product or helping to publicize and promote some healing food, the common thread in everything that I do as the health ranger, as the editor of Natural News, is the protection of life, the protection of the sustainability and the diversity of life. | |
| Because I hold life as sacred and I hold consciousness as sacred. | |
| And so when I see these evil destructive forces like the biotechnology industry or mercury in dentistry or mercury in vaccines or pesticides and herbicides sprayed on the land or the mass extinction, Of plants and animal populations due to runaway conventional mechanized agriculture or the release of toxic chemicals into waters, rivers, streams, oceans. | |
| When I see these things, it hurts. | |
| It pains my soul. | |
| But it also makes me very empowered to expose those evil things and expose that destruction and help change. | |
| Change our ways so that humanity might have a future that's not based on poison, but a future based on sustainability and the recognition that all life is divine. | |
| That's what drives me. | |
| And I don't think I've ever really shared that message directly with natural news readers, so that's why I wanted to get this out there. | |
| To really understand the health ranger, to understand who I am, you have to understand what drives me. | |
| And that's it. | |
| Even elements that are commercial in what we do. | |
| We earn revenues from sponsorship. | |
| We earn revenues from inventing and manufacturing and selling innovative dietary supplements and products. | |
| The money is the lubricant of our modern physical world economy. | |
| We use money as a fuel for driving through the message of divine inspiration and the protection of life. | |
| So I use money to build a laboratory, for example, over a million dollars for that lab, the Natural News Forensic Food Lab, and then that lab is able to do more investigations, find more truths, and share that with the public so that we can be empowered with decisions about what's safe to eat, | |
| what's not safe to eat, how to buy foods and superfoods that come from sources that have greater respect for the environment and the ecosystem and so on and so forth. | |
| Money exists in our modern physical world, but we use it for a pursuit of fundamental, divine, spiritual truth. | |
| And that is the protection of life. | |
| And I assure you, there is nothing in this world that can take me off that path because I will not compromise my principles and thereby compromise my eternal soul. | |
| It won't happen. | |
| Because there's much more to our existence than what is in this very short-term life. | |
| And if we all recognize that, it would be a better world for us all to live in. | |
