Identity politics is bigotry.
That's the subject of today's podcast.
You're listening to the Health Ranger Report.
My name is Mike Adams, the Health Ranger.
Thank you for joining me.
It's become very clear now that the left versus the right...
when it comes to elections and motivating voters and even trying to recruit voters and marketing their political message to voters and so on, that the right conservatives are mostly focused on issues and libertarians are focused on that the right conservatives are mostly focused on issues and libertarians The left no longer even pays lip service to issues.
They don't care about issues.
They are focused entirely, almost entirely, on identity politics.
What is identity politics?
It means that if you identify with a group, a tribe, like women or African Americans or Latinos or Muslims or what have you, or gays or transgenders,
that you're supposed to vote in line with that group's political tendencies or affiliations, and that that you're supposed to vote in line with that group's political tendencies or affiliations, and that your identity determines how you vote, not whether the representatives you might be voting for make any And this identity politics is what the political left has now retreated to because they've lost the issues.
Thank you.
They've lost the war, and they've lost their way.
They don't understand the issues.
They don't understand economics and national debt, international diplomacy.
They don't understand the real science on climate change and the skepticism of the fraudulently altered data sets there.
They don't understand medicine.
They don't understand border security.
They don't understand national defense.
The left is flailing about Like someone drowning almost in water, just completely misunderstanding or not even grasping the issues at all.
They have no plan.
They have no strategy.
They have no understanding.
They just don't get the issues.
And so the only thing they've got going for them...
It's identity politics.
And that's why you have the Women's March, the Pussyhat March, or whatever they call it, with vulgarity and so on.
It's as if, because you were born with XX chromosomes and you have reproductive organs of the female variety, you are supposed to vote for For Democrats.
Which makes absolutely no sense, especially since it's the liberals, the progressives, who say that biological sex doesn't count anymore, that you are whatever gender you claim to be, which means that biology has become meaningless by the definition of the left.
So what is the point of having a million-woman march when the only thing that these women really have in common is exactly the biology that the left claims is irrelevant?
It's laughable, really.
They have to rely on identity politics, and yet the identity itself is so fluid...
That even they don't believe that there's such a thing as a biological standard of womanhood.
In fact, transgenders complained about the women's march.
The transgenders complained about it, saying that the fact that it was women marching who were cisgendered women...
That is, they all had female reproductive organs, was intolerant toward the self-identified women who have penises.
So, the transgenders were saying that the Women's March is bigoted and intolerant and not inclusive enough because it didn't include the, quote, women who happen to have a scrotum and a penis, male genitalia, and XY chromosomes.
So you see how convoluted this becomes very, very quickly.
And actually, if you follow this down the rabbit hole of progressivism and liberalism, it leads to insanity and mental illness because there is nothing to hold on to.
There's no standard.
There's no objectivity.
Everything is wishy-washy.
Everything is whatever they feel it is at the moment, even gender, even identity, even race identity.
There are white liberals that think they're black and they pretend to be black people, just like Bruce Jenner pretends to be a woman.
He's impersonating a woman.
He is not a woman.
And a DNA test would prove that he is not a woman.
So you can impersonate people, but where does it end?
I think the state of New York said there were like 30 different genders.
I don't know how you come up with 30 different genders, but maybe some of them are like pixies and fairies and elves.
I don't even know.
I can't even come up with 30 magical garden gnomes or something.
Reindeer.
Maybe you can be trans species.
Maybe they're like trans leopards or something.
And there are people like that who think they're great cats.
And they have their teeth filed down, and they have tattoos, and they have cosmetic surgery to look like cats.
They have their ears clipped.
It's a mental illness.
Come on.
But that's where it all leads if you keep going down that rabbit hole.
But you see, this is now what the political left has retreated to, which is identity politics, which is racist at its core because it judges you by the color of your skin.
It says that if you're black, if you have dark skin, that you're supposed to vote Democrat simply because you're black.
Now think about that.
How racist is that?
Because it judges you by the color of your skin rather by the content of your character.
It doesn't take into account that you might have unique individual ideas.
You might have your own observations about the world.
You might be a...
A well-informed, experienced, educated black man, for example, in America who understands that the Democrat Party wants to keep blacks trapped in a cycle of government dependence and poverty and obedience rather than setting black people free to be who they are, to fully express their potential and their ideas, their innovation, their culture, their individuality, all of that.
And if you look in history, it was actually the KKK was founded by and run by Democrats.
And Abraham Lincoln, who freed the slaves, was a Republican.
And to this day, most liberals have no clue about those two irrefutable facts.
They also don't know that gun control was really supported by Democrats to try to make sure that black men couldn't have a means of self-defense against the KKK raids that were run by the Democrats.
So gun control was actually a form of stripping away power from black America.
And it continues to this day.
If you look at the gun control cities in America, what are they?
They're cities that have very high African American populations, like Chicago or Detroit and so on.
And in those cities, what do you also see?
Extremely high murder rates of black-on-black murder.
Very often black on black.
That's what the statistics show.
And it's because the guns are outlawed from the law-abiding citizens.
So it's the criminals who have the guns and they use them to commit mass murder.
But getting back to the identity politics point, when a country is hypnotized into voting based on identity rather than issues, then democracy has failed.
The whole idea that you are supposed to vote in a rational way by assessing the candidates and assessing their positions and their credibility and their strategies for making the world a better place and so on.
If you don't even bother assessing candidates and if you simply vote because you're black or because you have a vagina or because you're gay or because you're transgender or because you're Latino, if that is the driving force behind your vote, I'm here to tell you that you're not if that is the driving force behind your vote, I'm here to tell You're not qualified to participate in a democracy if you don't engage your brain.
If the only thing that is determining what you vote for is what's between your legs or the color of your skin, Then you're not qualified to be in a free society, frankly, simply put.
But then again, you wouldn't be listening to this if you were that kind of person.
Because, you know, people who listen to the Health Ranger Report are very well-informed and thoughtful individuals of all races and colors and religions and sexual orientation and backgrounds and so on.
So, you're not a mindless person.
But I think you get what I'm saying, in that there's so much in society that is completely mindless.
And what's interesting about identity politics, too, is that it never embraces men.
So there's an identity group, a tribe of women.
There's a political identity group of African Americans.
There's another group of gays and so on, LGBT community.
But there's never a group...
For men.
And there's never a group for Caucasians, and there's never a group for heterosexuals.
And if you had a group that was like, let's say, men marching on Washington, let's say it's white men, what would you be called?
Immediately you would be called racist.
Why?
Well, because you support white power, right?
It would be immediately...
Denigrated as a KKK march with white men, oh my god!
But white women can march, and because they have a vagina, which doesn't even matter these days, because gender is fluid, why is it okay for women to march, but not men?
Why is it okay for African Americans to march, but not European Americans?
Why is it okay for gays to march, but not straight people?
What if there were a march of the heterosexuals?
Just straight people marching for straight rights.
It would be, you know, you laugh, it's kind of funny to think about it, but it would be immediately labeled as sexist or intolerant or bigoted, wouldn't it?
And the fact that these kinds of mental experiments here, we're just imagining these things as a white group or a straight group or a male group marching down the streets in Washington.
The fact that you and I can both easily see how those would be immediately labeled racist or bigoted or sexist tells you that identity politics itself is bigoted.
Because it is not tolerant of all the groups.
It's only tolerant of certain groups.
Which groups?
The groups that the radical left wants to have power, but not other groups that they don't want to be represented.
So if it were really about human rights and universal tolerance and love and acceptance and being who you really are and being able to love, you know, love wins, Love the person you want to love, live with the person you want to live with, sleep with the person you want to sleep with, then why can't a couple be a man and a woman who are both heterosexuals?
Why can't that be a group?
Because that doesn't fit the twisted, bizarre, mentally ill agenda of left-wing identity politics.
That's why.
And what we're really seeing now is that the left is going further down that rabbit hole into derangement, where they're trying to appease the most bizarre transgenders out there who want to be men who can go into women's restrooms.
And they don't want to give women their privacy.
They want to be men with a penis who don't raise the toilet seat in the public women's restrooms.
And to be a tolerant woman, you're supposed to be fully accepting of men with penises peeing on your toilet seats in your women's restrooms.
Because they identify as a woman at that moment.
It's an opinion.
They've suddenly had an epiphany that could vanish after they finish flushing the toilet, for all you know.
It's all insane.
But this is where the left is going.
And this is why the political left is going to continue to fail and lose.
Because it's not rooted in reality and they cannot argue any issues.
And when it comes down to it, at the end of the day, people cash their paychecks and they try to balance their checkbooks.
They try to put food on the table and pay the rent.
They try to find a job.
They try to put their kid through school.
They try to accomplish practical things in the practical world.
And when you talk about practicality, it's all based on actual issues having to do with taxation, with savings, with investments in the financial system, having to do with the cost of fuel and transportation, having to do with the cost of health insurance and Obamacare having to do with the cost of health insurance and Obamacare versus more free market approaches that would make health insurance more There are practical issues that everybody eventually collides with whether they like it or not.
I mean, yeah, you can be gay, and you can be transgender, and you can be African American all day long, and at the end of the day, you've still got to pay the rent.
And so, in fact, wasn't there a black guy who ran for president as part of the rent is too damn high party?
Right?
That guy was great.
He just broke it all down.
This is one simple issue.
The rent is too damn high.
That's his platform.
Whatever you ask him, that was his answer.
What do you think about international trade?
The rent is too damn high.
Because everybody's got to pay rent.
So, sooner or later, it's a practical matter for everyone.
And it doesn't matter if your skin is dark or fair or Latino or brown or yellow or if you're Asian American or Italian American or Jewish or Muslim or Christian or Hindu or whatever.
None of that matters when you've got to pay the rent.
You don't get a discount on your rent for being white or being black or anything.
You've just got to pay the rent.
You've got to pay the electrical bill.
You've got to pay the mobile phone bill.
So, practicality is what ultimately, when people come out of their sort of progressive, dreamy-eyed fog of disinfo, and the fog clears and they snap out of it and wake up, they're like, holy crap, I still got to pay the rent.
You know, how am I going to do that if I can't find a job because Obama made small businesses and forced them to buy this unaffordable health insurance, so they just started laying everybody off.
And I started cutting everybody's hours so that they don't have full-time workers anymore.
Sooner or later, you've got to pay the rent.
So the practicality is what ultimately settles in the minds of people who are adults.
Whereas those who act like children...
Are stuck in identity politics because they have a vagina or they have a dark skin pigmentation or they are Latino and they let that rule everything about who they are, every expression of what they believe in.
I've known some gay people I've known some other gay people who are like militant gay mafia types.
They just allow their gayness to dominate everything they do.
Everything's gay.
They vote gay, they eat gay, they dress gay.
And, you know, there's nothing wrong with making personal choices in your own life, but if you're going to let that rule your vote, then you're not being gay, you're being stupid.
You need to think about what you're voting for on the issues, which could include gay issues, I suppose, gay marriage, for example.
But it's got to be more inclusive than just the gay part of it.
And that's just an example.
It could be an issue of...
Anything that's identity politics, women's rights or abortion, wherever you fall on the abortion spectrum and so on, you cannot let a single identity, tribal type of issue take over your mind and change the way you vote about everything or the way you think about everything, the way you consume everything in society.
You need to be more tolerant.
You need to be more diverse in your interactions in the world.
You need to be more informed and more intelligent.
Frankly, you need to be more like an adult.
So that's really what I would like to see in society, is just, frankly, adults.
Mature people walking around who have adult ideas.
Mature ideas.
They've thought through things.
They have life experience.
And they're not little children running around like Ashley Judd screaming about how hard it is to be a woman as if she knows what it's like to be somebody else.
What has she got to complain about?
She's one of the luckiest people on the planet compared to what other people deal with.
One of the most privileged Hollywood celebrities on the planet, and yet she's complaining because she has menstrual cycles.
It's just sick.
It's demented.
So, abandon identity politics.
It's a losing game.
It's a losing philosophy.
And frankly, it will destroy society.
If everybody goes into identity politics, society will crumble.
Because you don't get the republic that you need.
You don't get the democracy that you need just by voting based on skin color.
I mean, we tried that.
People voted for Obama in 2008.
A lot of white people voted for Obama solely because he was black.
And they did so, the white people did so, because they wanted to send a message that said, America is not racist.
We're going to elect a black president.
We're going to put a black man in the White House.
We're going to send a message.
We're going to say, we are so tolerant and we are so open that we're going to overlook the fact that he's got no policies that make sense.
We're just going to vote for him because he's black.
And what did he do with that?
He spent eight years destroying America, including black America.
Black folks are no better off today than they were eight years ago, for the most part.
And see, that's the mistake.
People voted for Obama because of his skin color.
They judged him by the color of his skin, rather than the content of his character.
It violated the Martin Luther King Protocol.
They should have voted for the person who had the best ideas, who had the best track record of getting things done that would help all Americans, regardless of their skin color.
For all I care, they could be a purple trans-species, half-leopard, half-alien, Well, I guess they have to be human to qualify for the president.
But whatever, as long as they qualify, I don't care what their skin color is.
I want to know about their ideas.
I want to know about their track record, about their integrity and trustworthiness.
Are they going to do what they say they're going to do?
And do their ideas follow the philosophy of liberty, self-reliance, small government?
It's the issues that matter, not the skin color, not the tribe.
We are not some tribal, ancient group of roaming, I don't know.
I mean, we're supposed to be an advanced civilization.
So let's act more advanced than just a bunch of tribes running around.
And for all those women that are marching out in front of the White House, if the best thing they can come up with is that they happen to have a double X chromosome, give me a break.
People, actual tribes in third world country females are born with the same hardware that you have.
That's not remarkable.
There's nothing special about the fact of what kind of genitalia you have.
There's nothing remarkable about that.
You share that with half the freaking planet.
Three and a half billion people have the same junk that you have.
You're not special because of your junk.
You're only special because of your ideas, your character, your integrity, your commitments, your courage.
That's what makes people special.
Not whatever godsend you think you have between your legs.
Frankly, nobody gives a shit what you have in your pants.
Really.
Nobody cares.
What they care is what's between your two ears.
That's what matters.
So, I hope that we can live in a society where we judge people, like Martin Luther King said, by the content of their character.
Not the color of their skin or the shape of their junk.
If we could update that quote from Mr.
King Jr., then perhaps we should add the shape of your junk in there as well, because that doesn't matter either.
Let's grow up, huh?
Let's grow up.
Let's start looking at what people stand for, not what's inside the waistband.
All right.
Take care, everybody.
Hope you found this informative and maybe a little entertaining.
