Hemp is Mother Nature’s gift to free humanity (which is why it’s so aggressively suppressed)

The suppression of the healing properties of medicinal marijuana is one of the most dastardly examples of the suppression of the people in the history of human civilization.
This plant, cannabis, is so incredibly powerful in what it can offer humans in terms of human freedom, agricultural freedom, medical freedom, and even freedom from companies like DuPont, which I will explain and even freedom from companies like DuPont, which I will explain here in a little My name is Mike Adams.
I'm the health ranger.
I do not smoke marijuana, and I never have, not even once in my life, which you may find odd, but I don't drink alcohol.
I don't do recreational drugs.
Everybody that's been around me knows this.
I'm a scientist.
I run a very, very high-end scientific laboratory.
I taught myself the fundamentals of organic chemistry in order to conduct food science.
And so I really protect my brain and I don't ever partake in substances that could compromise my cognitive function.
So that's why I don't do it.
But I'm completely opposed to the criminalization of marijuana, even as a recreational drug, even though I would never encourage someone to use it recreationally.
My focus here is on the medicinal properties.
Now, this plant offers so much to humanity that it makes so many high-profit painkillers, for example, obsolete.
Medical marijuana and its chemical constituents, which include, of course, THC, but also CBDs, the cannabidiols, these substances render...
Probably over a billion dollars a year's worth of painkiller drugs obsolete from Big Pharma.
So the reason they have to continue to criminalize and oppress medical marijuana is because they need to keep making money Selling their patented prescription painkillers and their cancer drugs and their anti-convulsive drugs.
I mean, heck, Big Pharma is basically selling crystal meth to kids.
It's called Adderall, folks.
It is essentially crystal meth.
Not exactly.
It's a little bit different molecularly, but that is essentially what they're doing.
It's speed, you know?
So they have to profit from it or they will outlaw it and criminalize it.
If you look at the medicinal value of cannabis, its profile is extraordinary.
It's almost miraculous.
It's almost as if God himself put this plant on this earth to heal humanity.
There are so many healing components in it, even if you take the THC out and you don't even deal with the psychoactive components, just the CBDs alone and other phytochemical constituents, they are anti-cancer.
They can cure some people of some cancers, some of the time, obviously not every case of cancer, but they are anti-cancer in a very potent way.
They're anti-convulsive, which means they can help stop convulsions.
And seizures and nervous tics.
If you've ever seen some elderly people, they tend to shake their heads.
They can't control the nervous system.
CBDs from hemp can often eliminate those entirely.
CBDs are also anti-inflammatory.
They're very, very powerful for that.
They can help people reduce inflammation from extreme exercise, for example, or inflammation caused by poor dietary practices.
Many people have, you know, they eat a lot of fried foods, they eat a lot of junk foods, and this causes systemic inflammation throughout the body's cells, and these CBDs can help reduce inflammation quite substantially.
The plant is not only biological medicine, it is also an extraordinary example of economic spontaneous healing.
If any state in America were to legalize industrial hemp farming across the board, that state would immediately become enriched with billions of dollars of exports from creating a growing hemp and exporting it or processing it and exporting it to other states.
Now, I live in Texas And in my dreams, I wish that Governor Abbott would declare Texas a cannabis, industrial hemp, And then there would be an entire economy built around the industrial uses of hemp,
And I'm not even talking about the Colorado scene.
I'm not talking about everybody smoking up pot and getting high all the time because that is not a scene that I personally want to live around.
That's not what I want to see for Texas.
But just the industrial and scientific and medicinal uses and the novel materials that come out of hemp are absolutely extraordinary.
We could revolutionize farming.
We could revolutionize agriculture.
We could create massive profits, massive investment in Texas.
But this could happen in...
Many states, especially southern states, you know, Georgia, Kentucky.
How do you think the state New Hampshire got its name?
It was the Hemp Shire.
Now it's New Hampshire.
Hemp has been traditionally grown, you know, for hundreds of years before it was outlawed by the criminal government regime for all the reasons that I'm talking about here.
So hemp can create economic abundance for humanity, which can set people free, get them off of government subsidies, get them off the food stamps, get them out of debt so they're no longer slaves to the banking system.
These are precisely the reasons why hemp continues to be illegal almost everywhere, because it creates too much independent freedom.
But it's also a threat to companies like DuPont because hemp can be used to create extraordinary novel materials that might compete with synthetic high tensile strength fibers such as nylon, for example.
Believe it or not, using some fascinating chemistry, you can turn hemp into extraordinary materials with very, very high tensile strength and very, very high green factors, low eco-footprints.
Hemp can be used to manufacture an extraordinary array of Of various practical parts.
Like, you know, you've heard that you can use hemp to make car parts.
And no, that's not just when you're smuggling pot across the border from Mexico.
I'm talking about functional bumpers.
I'm talking about panels for the inside the doors, components for seats and so on, steering wheels, you name it.
So hemp creates medicine, which halts cancer in many people.
It eliminates addictive...
Deadly painkillers that come from the pharmaceutical companies.
Hemp creates hemp oils and hemp seeds, which are very high in omega-3s, that also have extraordinary health benefits, including the prevention of type 2 diabetes, the prevention of heart disease, the prevention of cancer, and so on.
Reducing the healthcare costs of every city or nation that has people who are consuming the hemp oils.
And then you also have hemp protein, which is a very high quality protein.
You have hemp fibers that come out of this.
And companies like Nutiva, of course, John Rulak over there, a guy I've known for many years, has really done a fantastic job commercializing and mainstreaming the distribution of hemp products.
And yet even John exists in a nation right now, as I do, where we are all criminals if we take one of those seeds and plant it in the ground and harvest it for industrial or dietary uses, like creating hemp oil.
So instead, we have to import this from countries like Canada and other places, which is economic insanity.
It's as if the president of America, currently Obama, is saying, we hate you so much.
And by the way, Bush before him as well, I'm not singling out Obama.
This has been going on for a long time.
You know, Reagan, Bush, Carter, you know, Clinton, all of them.
They hate you so much that they don't want you to have the abundance that comes from growing hemp or processing hemp, harvesting hemp, turning it into oils and seeds and proteins and fibers and industrial products and healing medicine.
They hate you so much that they don't want you to have the freedom and the abundance and the health that comes from hemp.
Isn't that astonishing?
It is one of the most astonishing cover-ups in the history of human civilization that this one plant, which offers so much potential to humanity, has been so criminalized and marginalized, oppressed, scientifically suppressed, it has been demonized and vilified like nothing else precisely because it offers so much to humanity.
And the government, the same government that now says, well, you can't claim any medicinal properties from hemp.
It's not a FDA-approved pharmaceutical.
You can't claim anything.
That same government, in 2003, the Department of Health and Human Services patented a cannabidiol molecular formula from hemp as a treatment against convulsions and seizures.
You can look it up in the patent databases, and it's very clear that this is a medicine.
The government patented it.
The same government that tells you, no, it's not medicinal.
But in the patent itself, it says this is medicinal.
And it can be used to treat these diseases.
It's right in the patent.
So of course they're lying to you all the time.
This is what government does.
This is why all you people voting for bigger and bigger government, you need to get your head on straight.
All you're going to do is create a more monstrous system that strips more freedoms away from all of us under the guise of protecting us from natural medicine or protecting us from agricultural hemp.
It's just insane!
If the government really cared about the people, if the Democrats really had compassion, and if the Republicans really valued liberty, wouldn't they both get together and say, we should have compassionate medicine from the freedom to grow industrial hemp?
Wouldn't that fit the philosophy of both the Republicans and the Democrats if they're telling the truth?
Of course it would, but they're not telling the truth.
They're lying to you constantly, both parties all the time.
They're lying to you.
Democrats say, oh, we want to be compassionate.
Bullshit!
If they wanted to be compassionate, they would legalize medical marijuana nationwide.
And the Republicans, oh, we want to support liberty.
Bullshit!
If you supported liberty, you would not criminalize the agricultural production of hemp products.
Hemp seeds, hemp oils, hemp proteins, novel materials that come from hemp, and so on.
Both of these parties are lying to you, and you already know that, otherwise you probably wouldn't even be listening to this.
So, I've had over the last year, I've had probably a dozen people call me or text me or email me and say, Mike, we want to sell you our CBDs.
Because, you know, I have an online store.
It's called store.naturalnews.com.
And we sell laboratory-validated superfoods and high-end nutritional supplements that I test in my lab for heavy metals and other possible contaminants.
And we only sell things that pass the test.
So all these people are contacting me and saying, we want you to sell our CBDs.
And I keep hearing this over and over again.
Well, my warning to you is the same response I've had to them.
I'm not going to sell any CBDs unless I can absolutely verify that they have the chemical constituents, the cannabidiols, that they claim to have.
Because right now, CBDs are so powerful.
They're such powerful medicine.
And word is spreading so rapidly about their healing potential and their ability to, you know, prevent cancer and prevent convulsions and seizures and all these things.
The word is spreading so fast that a lot of charlatans are getting into the business and they're selling you canola oil labeled as CBDs or they're cutting the CBD content down to one tenth of what it claims to be.
So a lot of people are buying these bottles of CBDs for 100 bucks or 200 bucks and they don't have any CBDs and nobody knows how to tell the difference.
And unfortunately, when you ask a lot of these companies, as I've done, how do you know that you have CBDs in them?
Their answer usually, sometimes, and I'm saying this jokingly, goes along the lines of, oh yeah, because it just feels awesome, man.
Like, that's their answer.
This is the science of the stoner community, right?
And you know what I'm talking about.
If you are part of this community, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
There is a shocking lack of scientific validation of the CBD content of products being sold as CBDs.
So I have taken it upon myself recently to study the molecular structures and isotopes of cannabidiols, and I've decided that I'm going to start testing some of the products that are out there to see if we might find a source that actually is honest and authentic.
I want to share this with you, how I'm going to go about doing this.
A lot of people don't know that I have a very large forensic food laboratory.
Many people are familiar with instrumentation known as liquid chromatography, but liquid chromatography by itself does not easily, well, it really doesn't separate CBDs from THC. It doesn't have the resolution.
It doesn't have the resolution.
And you can have a lot of chemicals coming out of the liquid chromatograph columns that are coeluting with the same retention times in this.
They overlap each other.
They have peaks with shoulders, for example.
I don't want to get too technical, but the point is the LC itself does not separate these, does not allow you to quantitate the cannabidiols that you're looking at.
And again, there are seven There are seven that I've seen so far in the research, seven primary cannabidiols.
And from looking at the molecular structure, it looks like they have essentially the same elemental structure, but with some different covalent bonding happening in certain carbon rings inside that structure, which, of course, would change the masses slightly because electrons themselves have...
A very small mass, but they have enough mass to make a difference when you're looking at mass-to-charge ratios.
So we're going to be using liquid chromatography in conjunction with mass spectrometry using what's called a time-of-flight instrument, or TOF, which is able to separate the cannabidiols from THC and other possible chemical constituents in any of these liquid extracts.
And we're not interested in THC. I don't personally want to have anything to do with the psychoactive component of marijuana.
That's not my focus.
I'm interested in the medicinal side of the CBDs, which are non-psychoactive and are legal to sell everywhere in all 50 states.
That's my interest, the medicinal plant properties.
So I'm going to be looking at this.
And it's very early in my research on this, so this is going to take a few months.
I'm very curious to find out how much of this stuff is counterfeit, how much of it is real, and which suppliers can actually be trusted to provide the CBD content that they claim to provide.
Because I want to support those companies that are doing honest product formulations, honest extracts.
And I'll talk about extracts here in a second, because this is also going to blow your mind.
But I want to support companies that are doing a good job, that are using green chemistry.
And that are being honest with what they're providing their customers.
But I also want to expose the frauds.
This is what I do across the board.
Whether we're talking about dietary supplements or protein products or now in this case, CBDs.
I have a reputation for exposing frauds using hard science in a forensic food laboratory.
So using this LC-MS setup, we'll be able to show And quantitate at parts per billion resolution the cannabidiol content of every supplement that we get our hands on.
How's that?
And believe me, the quantitation, the data analysis of a time-of-flight mass spec system is a lot more accurate than, oh, it's really potent, man.
You know what I mean?
And I say that lovingly to all of you out there who are toking as you're listening.
I have nothing against your recreational use of it.
That does not give you...
It is not a good way to get to the real scientific assessment of something.
And this is one reason why I don't engage in the recreational use of marijuana because I have to keep my mind very, very sharp for the scientific analysis.
And I found that those two things just don't go together.
I mean, there are not a lot of stoner mass spec instrument operator scientists out there.
It's either one way or the other.
You don't usually find good scientists in the lab are not usually toking on the side.
Okay, so with that said, and probably I'm going to get some hate mail for that, but whatever.
Let's talk about the extraction.
The extraction technologies that are used in the medical marijuana industry are absolutely frightening.
To me, as a food scientist and as someone who believes in the healing properties of cannabis, but also is interested in environmental protection and green chemistry and consumer safety, I am shocked that We're good to go.
People are extracting cannabidiols using crazy toxic solvents like hexane.
There are probably some people out there using gasoline, for all we know, butane.
A lot of explosives.
There are fire marshals in Colorado that can give you the full story on this about how these extraction houses keep blowing up.
Because they're using toxic explosive substances to extract the cannabidiols and the THC and to create all their different variations of, you know, recreational, what they call dabs.
I don't know all the terminology, but there are different forms of concentrated extracts from cannabis that people are experimenting with.
And a lot of this experimentation is very toxic.
It is, again, unregulated, wildly unsafe for human consumption, and unsafe for the environment.
So I want to encourage you, even if you are someone who supports medicinal marijuana, as I do, you should really be wary and skeptical of unusual, highly concentrated forms of extracts from hemp that seem kind of fishy. highly concentrated forms of extracts from hemp that seem kind You don't know how they've been extracted.
You don't know what kind of crazy chemicals they used.
You also don't know what else is in there.
Is it pure?
Or did they get some other, you know, weeds in there or some hair swept up from the floor of the extraction warehouse?
I mean, who knows what's in there?
You know, again, there are very few quality standards, very few safety standards in that industry.
It's a literal, it's a Wild West at the moment.
And it's funny because when I was recently undergoing some additional instrument training in mass spectrometry, one of the guys in my class was there.
He was sent there by a medical marijuana operation, a very large operation in California, because his job was to get up to speed on the chemical...
The quantitation of not just the CBDs and the THC, but also the identification of the unknowns.
Now, when you're looking at a liquid chromatograph or the spectra of any kind of a chemical or a plant-based substance, you're going to get a lot of different peaks in the chromatograph spectra, and these peaks are usually unknown.
Unless you just happen to know exactly what chemical you're looking for.
And it's very, very difficult, almost impossible to identify what those are from just using liquid chromatography.
But once you combine that with a mass spec instrument like we have, then you can actually reverse engineer from the mass to charge ratio the accurate mass.
And from that, we can derive through deconvolution formulas the actual...
Possible combinations of molecular structures using organic chemistry molecules that could meet that mass-to-charge ratio that we're seeing in the time-of-flight system.
In other words, we can reverse engineer the data and actually identify the so-called unknowns, which means if someone's using gasoline, we'll be able to see gasoline, or at least components of gasoline, in the mass spec analysis of their CBD product.
Isn't that interesting?
If someone's using hexane, we're going to be able to see hexane.
So we have an opportunity here with the science that we're conducting and this very high interest that I have for medicinal plants to bring more safety and scrutiny to an industry that is a wild west by taking an honest scientific look at the actual molecular composition of products that are being sold as CBD extracts or CBD oils.
And I am, based on conversations with people that I've had in the industry and across the industry, I believe we're going to find a very, very high percentage of counterfeit products and a very, very high percentage of chemical contaminants that you would not want to see and you would not want to swallow.
This is just my guess.
So until I see the actual results, I can't put my stamp of assurance on that.
But that's just my guess.
However, I'm open to the possibility that none of that is true.
Maybe it's all legit.
Maybe it's all 100% just what the label says.
And there are no crazy chemicals in it.
It's all clean.
But I doubt it.
Because I know enough of these people to know that they're cutting corners.
And if you're in the industry yourself, you know this too.
So, what I would like to see, my vision for this, is to see more scientific authenticity brought to the industry of this amazing healing plant, which is hemp, so that it actually has a more trusted reputation across the industry, which benefits everyone.
And it's my goal to see cleaner extraction protocols used with fewer or no chemical contaminants in the resulting end product that is sold to consumers.
In other words, I'm pro-hemp but I'm also very much pro-health and safety for the consumer.
And since the federal government is doing nothing in this realm, they're not scrutinizing this.
They're not looking at it.
They're not setting standards.
They're not inspecting facilities in Colorado.
Because there are no regulators doing anything on this, it's really up to us in the nonprofit sector or the private sector to do this ourselves because we are passionate about this plant.
Wouldn't it be horrible if someone dies from taking a hemp extract that is contaminated with a deadly substance that actually causes a fatality?
That would cause a massive backlash against hemp itself and could result in legislative efforts to outlaw it, even in places like Colorado, or to outlaw CBDs, for example.
So this is a very important message to the whole industry.
If we, those of us who believe in natural medicine and who support CBDs and other natural extracts from hemp, if we don't clean up our industry, believe me, we will be shut down.
The whole industry will be demonized again.
It'll all be shut down.
CBDs will be criminalized.
You'll lose all your money, all your investment, all your manufacturing facilities that you have in places where it's legal.
You'll lose all that investment and you will be accused of Of harming people.
And believe me, the FDA, the CDC, and the DEA are ready and waiting to jump on you and call you a criminal and demonize you, throw you in prison, take all your money, take all your customer records, seize your computers, seize your inventory, shut down your processing plants.
Believe me, this is what they do.
This is the kind of stuff they love to do.
They live for this.
This is their greatest wet dream, is to roll in with a bunch of SWAT teams on your legal medicinal marijuana plant and arrest you for using some unapproved solvent that endangers the customers and force you to recall all your products and refund all your customers.
And they're going to throw you into total bankruptcy, total destitution, and tie you up in the court system year after year after year.
I'm the guy who can stop that from happening by helping you find out what's in your product ahead of time to avoid these problems and make sure you're practicing green chemistry.
So, with that hint, I am going to pre-announce here that I will be offering scientific consulting and assessment to hemp producers as long as I don't have to handle THC. Because my lab is in Texas, it's not legal to handle THC, and I don't want to have anything to do with the THC side of this plant, and I don't want raw plant.
I will handle only extracts like CBDs that are legal, that are medicinal, and I can help you validate those.
I can help you look for solvents.
And, you know, that might be dangerous.
And if you're someone who's buying in bulk from someone else and then bottling, maybe even diluting and mixing and rehydrating and bottling it yourself, you need to use a lab like mine in order to get good, solid answers before you get screwed by someone who made you solid answers before you get screwed by someone who made you a bunch of false promises because they were like, oh, yeah, it's 100% pure when it's really
Believe me, if you're not doing the science, you're going to get taken for a fool sooner or later because there are unscrupulous operators in every industry.
So...
I'm not offering that service yet.
It's going to be a little bit before I'm ready to take that on, but I have the best intentions here.
I want to help clean up this industry.
I want to help make this medicinal plant more available, more scientifically validated, and safer for consumers.
Those are my intentions.
And to do that, I will offer my consulting and my laboratory analysis, validation, certificates of quantitative analysis, and so on and so forth, when the time is right.
When I'm ready to do that, I'll make that announcement on naturalnews.com.
So, anyway, it's an extraordinary plant, and we...
We have all been victims of an extraordinary global effort to suppress the truth about this, to suppress the healing properties of it, to suppress the economic abundance that this plant can bring about.
We've all been kept down by the system because of this, and it's time for that to end.
It's time for a revolution in agriculture, a revolution in medicine, a revolution in hemp production for legitimate purposes to help humanity with healthy oils, healthy proteins, novel fibers, a revolution in hemp production for legitimate purposes to help humanity with healthy oils, healthy proteins, novel fibers, green chemistry for, you know, for manufacturing green chemistry
So this is the time now to combine this citizen science that we have available in order to help promote this amazing plant in the interest of humanity, even while the world's governments want to shut us all down, shut us all up. even while the world's governments want to shut us all They want to keep us diseased.
They want to keep you addicted to their their patented medications and their pharmaceuticals and their prescription opioids, everything else that they sell and make you an addict.
So you have to keep buying their stuff.
They want you to be enslaved, not free, which is why they keep attacking hemp.
Hemp is just sort of Mother Nature's gift of liberty.
If you really understand its implications.
So that's why we have to support the good science and the safety of this plant.
And that's what motivates me as a food research scientist to announce all of this.
Alright, so thank you for listening.
Again, my name is Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, and you can catch all my podcasts at healthrangerreport.com.
Check out my lab results at labs.naturalnews.com.
I'm going to be announcing some new videos and photos.
I'll show you some of the instrumentation, how it all works, give you a little tour of my lab if you're curious about it.
And, of course, read my news on cannabis at naturalnews.com.
And, by the way, at the time of this recording, I do not carry or sell any CBD product, period.
So just, you know, for disclosure, for people listening, I'm not in the business of CBDs.
I might be in the future...
If I can find a source that I check out, that I scrutinize, and that I know is potent and pure and is free of chemical contaminants, at that time, if that happens, then we might take on a CBD product.
If I don't find a good source, I won't carry it, period.
End of story.
Not going to compromise on this just to sell CBDs.
We either get real, honest, pure, safe CBDs, or we don't sell them at all.
And if we don't sell them, we'll just scrutinize other people's products out there and take a look.
We'll just buy theirs and test them and tell you what we're finding.
