Health Ranger Store raises $60,000+ for Hurricane Harvey victims

Time Text
Well, we did it.
Together, we've raised $50,000 to go to the Hurricane Harvey victims of the recent storm in Texas.
We have hit $50,000.
That means over the last two days, you have purchased over $100,000 worth of product from the Health Ranger store.
And as you recall, we are donating 50% of sales revenues to Hurricane Harvey victims.
Now, I'm recording this right at the tail end of this fundraising effort.
The next step is we're going to make the donations to our selected groups, which are all local groups such as churches, some other groups, not all churches, but some other groups that are local.
I don't have the final list, but we will publish the list.
We'll tell you exactly who we donated to and exactly how much to each group.
We're not donating any money to the American Red Cross because They're a scam, right?
We're not donating to any of the large groups with big overhead.
We're donating to small local groups.
We may donate to a small local group in Corpus Christi as well, as they were hit very hard, you know, the Rockport area as well.
So it's not just Houston, but it will be focused more in Houston because that's the area that was very heavily hit.
I just want to say thank you.
You have really responded.
You have given me renewed faith in humanity, frankly.
We live in a crazy world.
People seem to be going mad all over society.
And there are very few examples that we can point to today of showing people doing what's right, or rising to the occasion to overcome adversity.
And yet, this hurricane has, in an interesting way, brought out the best in people.
And you see examples of this all across Houston, the news coverage and the people who went out and rescued so many others, so many victims who have been saved and rescued by not just emergency responders and sheriff's deputies and firefighters and so on, but just everyday people who had a boat or an inflatable rubber ducky.
They just went out and started saving people on their jet skis and what have you.
This is a moment of humanity to show how we really should care about each other.
This is about compassion for fellow human beings.
And you notice that When they were rescuing people, they didn't ask them, did you vote for Trump or not?
Are you a leftist?
Are you a right-wing person?
Do you believe in God?
Do you not believe in God?
Are you black?
Are you white?
Are you Muslim?
Nobody's asking those questions.
Just, you need help?
We're coming to save you.
And they did.
Because everybody deserves a chance at life.
Everybody deserves to receive aid.
Everybody deserves a helping hand.
Reach down through that water.
Pull you out of that water.
Pull you back into safety.
And we, with your help, we have been part of that effort.
And it makes me feel...
It makes that humanity resonate again.
It gives me hope.
Because these are times that...
There's not a lot of hope for the future of human civilization.
There's like, I don't know, 50 Nobel Prize winning scientists who say humanity is doomed.
And I've called humanity a suicide cult.
It's hard to see how this civilization survives another century, frankly.
There's a lot of doom and gloom out there, and the picture looks pretty bleak at times.
You think about all the ways we're destroying ourselves and each other and the madness that has taken hold and the psychosis.
And yet, somehow, out of this tragedy, out of this Hurricane Harvey storm, we can pull out of that this incredible display of humanity, a resurgence of What is good?
A resurgence of the ethics and the morality upon which this country was founded.
And remember, this country was founded on Christian principles.
Principles of do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Treat people with dignity and respect.
And somehow it took a storm.
It took a $90 billion damage storm to bring out this humanity again.
Well, maybe this can be a wake-up call for us.
Maybe we can use this as a, you know, a springboard into reinvigorating a civil society in this country where we've got the radical left, the alt-left, and the alt-right, and we've got so much violence out there and so much vitriol in the media and just attack pieces everywhere.
That has no future if we're going to live in community, if we're going to live as a nation.
We need to remember the kind of people we are, the kind of upbringing that we had.
We need to remember that we are all compassionate.
We need to remember that not everybody who voted for Trump is a Nazi, as people on the left are saying.
And we need to remember that not everybody on the left is an Antifa violent terrorist as well.
Those are the extremes.
The Antifa and the Nazis.
Those are the extremes.
Most people want nothing to do with that.
Most people are just good people.
They'll help save lives.
They'll rise to the occasion.
They'll help rebuild a city if it's been devastated.
And so you helped give me renewed faith in humanity through this fundraising effort.
And I sincerely want to thank you.
HealthRangerStore.com We ran a 48-hour fundraiser.
In case you don't know the details, we're donating 50% of every dollar, of every sales dollar, to those in need at Hurricane Harvey, which means we're digging into our pockets because we don't earn 50% profit on everything.
So we're making a donation, but it's also you.
It's you, the customer, that is initiating that, and then we're just matching it with 50 cents on the dollar.
So together we did this.
If you, well, just a quick note, if you ordered products from us, from the Health Rangers store, of course, we're shipping you what you ordered.
Please have a little bit of patience with us because we had a lot of orders.
A lot of people stepped up to help with this fundraiser, so we're going to be a couple of days behind and we're working as fast as we can.
Just have a little bit of patience with us.
Everything that you normally have with your purchase still applies.
If you want a refund, if you're not happy with the product, you can ask for a refund.
We always honor refund requests.
If you have a problem, you can contact our customer support.
All that's still in place.
You didn't give up anything by participating in this.
You get all our quality lab-tested products, just like normal.
In fact, you, if you're a customer, you didn't have to, you know, you didn't give up anything to do this.
This is why everybody's a winner here.
You got your product.
The people in Houston got their help.
And we got to participate in this expression of humanity to help those in need.
We all win.
But just have a little bit of patience with us so we get these products out the door.
Secondly, this model of conscious capitalism has been so effective for us that I'm really thinking about how we can amplify this.
How can we do this again?
What other causes and needs are out there that we need to help support?
Because this hurricane in Houston is just one thing, one event.
There are other events.
There are other people in need.
There are other people suffering all over the world.
For lots of reasons that we can talk about, and money can't solve all of them.
Mostly it's a lack of freedom that causes human suffering all over the world, by the way.
But what else can we do?
How can we help more people overcome adversity?
How can we save lives?
And if you think about it, that's a lot of what we do every day at Natural News.
We publish information that teaches people how to save their own lives.
How to prevent cancer, how to overcome diabetes, how to stop poisoning yourself with toxic pharmaceuticals and pesticides and GMOs and so on.
We're saving lives every day.
This is what we do.
It's our mission to save lives.
But how can we do it even better?
How can we amplify this incredible combination of your goodwill and our goodwill and hearts and minds coming together to do what's right for fellow Americans, fellow human beings, wherever they are?
How can we do this even better?
I don't know the answer to that, but I'm thinking about ways to do that.
This has been so meaningful to me that I want to repeat the giving.
I want to repeat the help.
I don't know what that model looks like yet, but I want to do something substantial.
If you've got suggestions of how we can do this better, go ahead and put your comment in below this video or at the bottom of this article.
Let us know.
We're always thinking about ideas of how to have a greater positive impact for our world.
We want a sustainable community.
We want a world That's rooted in reason and sanity and clean food and clean environment.
We don't want to see human suffering.
We don't want to see animals suffering.
We don't want to see nature being destroyed.
We don't want to see the oceans being depleted of life, which is what's happening now.
And we sure don't want to see human civilization implode, collapse, and fail.
And it's on that path.
So, if you've got ideas, let us know.
We've got the heart and the minds to do what's right for humanity.
Maybe we just need to find a novel approach To doing it.
So anyway, thanks for watching.
Thank you for all your support.
It means a lot to me.
We're going to continue to do our part for humanity at every opportunity.
And in a few short hours or maybe a day or whatever it takes, we're going to send that $50,000 to those groups in Houston, maybe Corpus Christi.
We'll report back to you on naturalnews.com exactly where we've sent those donations.
And you can feel good knowing that you've done something that is making a positive difference and you're not paying big fat cat salaries of people at the Red Cross or some other United Way or whatever.
This is money going to the people who need it.
People on the streets, people suffering, people sitting in four feet of water, lost their car, lost their belongings, lost their homes, lost their animals, their pets, maybe a family member.
They need our help, and you, you know, you stood up and offered to help, and I appreciate it.
Thank you.
Thank you for helping Texas.
Thank you for helping humanity.
We will remember this.
Texas owes you a debt of gratitude, and Texas is going to be here to keep fighting for freedom and liberty and humanity, no matter what it takes.
We're on the side of humanity.
We're on team humanity, as I like to say.
We are Texans.
We see everything through.
We help each other.
With your help, you know, we can rebuild.
So thank you.
Take care.
