Mike Adams.
President Trump, if you think the drug companies are going to line up and beg you to make sure that they make less money, you're kidding yourself.
The Health Ranger Report.
Any talk about health care reform that doesn't sock it to the drug companies is a total joke.
It's time for the Health Ranger Report.
The Health Ranger Report.
And now from naturalnews.com, here's Mike Adams.
If you have back pain, I've got some really good information for you of how to overcome back pain without resorting to surgery.
But first, let me share with you the number one mistake that people make when they have back pain and that is getting back surgery.
Back surgery is horrendously unsuccessful nearly all the time and it puts people into extreme pain often for life.
I mean back surgery ruins people's lives And there are other options that you can do that actually work better.
After people have surgery, they often go to see chiropractors and acupuncturists and other healing arts practitioners to try to heal all the pain problems they have that were caused by the surgery in addition to the original back pain they had.
That's their first mistake.
You should go see a chiropractor and an acupuncturist or other people in the healing arts before trying surgery because surgery is permanent.
It's invasive.
Once that scalpel goes in and starts slicing things up, it's cutting nerve tissue.
It's cutting skin and muscle.
It's inhibiting your body's ability to heal itself and it's inhibiting your nerve function that's necessary for For example, good blood supply to help restore healing and function to the area.
And by the way, most back pain, in fact nearly all of it, is not caused by a physical deformity or a physical problem that can even be addressed with surgery.
Nearly all back pain is functional in nature.
In other words, it's about the way the muscle tension is.
It's the way the soft tissue is working.
It's the way your neurology is either integrating or not integrating very well with your musculature.
It's about muscle tightness.
Massage therapy can be very, very useful, believe it or not, especially if it focuses on areas like the psoas muscle.
But I'm going to share with you something, a couple of things here that have worked for me.
And you may know I had some back injuries.
You know, I did a lot of combat training in my younger years.
Hand-to-hand combat, edge weapons combat, tactical handgun combat training, lots of different things.
And a lot of this training was very aggressive.
I suffered some injuries.
But I was able to overcome them using these techniques that I'll mention to you right now.
Including a couple of supplements that actually work very well.
And I don't sell these supplements that I'm going to mention, so don't think that I'm just trying to plug them to make a buck.
First thing is body rolling.
Body rolling is miraculous for many people who suffer from back pain.
I mean, it's miraculous.
It's like a life-changing difference in reduced pain.
Some people who have been in excruciating pain for many, many years find that body rolling, and that's using a foam roller, rolling on the floor, actually eliminates their back pain almost 100%.
Not everybody...
But a lot of people, and also not instantly.
It's not like you can roll one day and be free of back pain the next day.
It's going to take several weeks of consistent rolling, and it needs to be something that you do for the rest of your life.
I roll, every time I'm watching a movie, you know, like a Netflix movie or whatever, or a DVD, I'm rolling on a mat with a foam roller.
And specifically, you have to roll your calves, your buttocks.
You need to roll...
Your psoas muscle which is kind of difficult to roll but also your hamstrings and the sides of your thighs and hips.
Rolling all of these areas is very very important because it loosens up your musculature That pulls on your pelvis and your spine and a lot of back pain is caused because of that tightness, that artificial muscular pulling or tension that people get from too much sitting Especially too much sitting, but also not enough physical exercise, not enough stretching, not enough walking, not enough bending over with gardening or something like that.
So body rolling is huge.
Don't discount it.
If you think that you might feel silly rolling on a piece of foam on the floor...
Imagine how happy you're going to be when your back no longer hurts.
I mean, this is serious stuff.
If you do body rolling, you might be able to avoid extremely dangerous, painful surgery that cripples you for life.
Body rolling will not, it doesn't carry the risks of surgery.
You're not going to lose a nerve.
You know, you're not going to be paralyzed potentially.
You're not going to die from anesthesia when you're body rolling.
It's very non-invasive, but also self-healing, and it's something that you can do anywhere at any time.
You can put a roller in your luggage.
I've done that before.
You can roll on a mat in a hotel room.
So you can do that anywhere.
That's a very powerful thing.
Now, alongside body rolling, there is also a lot of benefit from things like some yoga and some Pilates.
But I got to tell you this.
I did yoga for many, many years.
For me, it didn't do nearly as much as body rolling.
I mean, I did a lot of stretching and yoga for years, probably over a decade.
I mean, serious.
Like, 45 minutes a day, something like that.
Did not help me as much as body rolling for 5 to 10 minutes.
I mean, body rolling is amazing.
All right, let's talk about nutritional supplements.
Serapeptase is a very powerful supplement.
Like I said earlier, it's not something that I sell.
But you can find serrapeptase.
It's all one word.
It's an enzyme that does amazing things for many people in terms of reducing inflammation.
It's spelled S-E-R-R-A-P-E-P-T-A-S-E, serrapeptase.
You can find it, you know, lots of different places that sell vitamins and supplements.
And try this because if you live a life where you wake up in pain and, you know, you're not as functional as you want to be and your back just hurts apparently for no good reason, try serrapeptase because it has a very powerful anti-inflammatory property to it.
So definitely check that out.
That can help you in many, many ways.
Now, generally speaking, there is a supplement, well, a spice, actually, and we do sell a form of this spice, but I'm not talking specifically about our product.
Just in general, turmeric is a very powerful spice that can help support The body's normal function.
So definitely check out turmeric if you want good nutritional support.
Turmeric obviously has curcumin in it.
You can buy from various places curcumin extracts.
That's one of the ingredients in turmeric.
The only thing I would mention is watch out for high lead in turmeric products because there is a lot of turmeric out there that has high lead in it.
Not the extracts, but just the raw spice, the root, tends to be very high in lead.
So definitely check that out.
Now, another thing is we're often told by doctors that if you have a back injury that you should put it on ice and stop the swelling.
I gotta tell you, that's nonsense.
The swelling is your body's way to bring more circulation, more resources to the area in order to create healing.
Swelling is a natural response and it's part of the healing process.
If you suppress the swelling with ice, you are suppressing your healing.
And you're likely to not heal as well as you would have if you had just let the swelling take place.
So don't artificially suppress swelling unless the swelling itself causes some kind of severe danger or unbearable pain that you just can't deal with.
In fact, heat is often very good for lower back injuries, you know, within reason, to bring more circulation to the area instead of chasing it away with ice.
You know, ice slows circulation.
Another thing that many people find to be very beneficial, by the way, is magnesium.
There's a lot of tension in our bodies.
Sometimes it's from people who have a magnesium deficiency.
Not always, but in some cases, a lack of magnesium can create an artificial muscle tension, or maybe artificial is not the best word for that, but almost like a chronic muscle tension, or even cramps.
Many people get cramps.
It's a good sign that you're deficient or probably deficient in magnesium.
I would suggest you go work with a naturopathic physician, get an assessment of your nutritional deficiencies, which may include more than just magnesium.
It could also include zinc, vitamin D, maybe some other nutrients that could benefit you in many ways.
Get advice from a professional like that who can help you supplement your diet in the correct ways to bring you the nutrients that you need.
But I just got to say, across the board, magnesium is something that's highly, highly deficient in a vast majority of the population.
Along with vitamin D. Now, to summarize, I haven't covered everything here, but to summarize, if you are suffering from back pain, note that everything I've mentioned here is non-invasive.
You can try seropeptides.
You can try body rolling.
You can try heat therapy.
You can try even a magnesium bath, Epsom salt bath.
All of these things have virtually no risk.
Not quite zero, but very close to zero.
They're non-invasive.
They don't scar your back.
They're very affordable.
And if they don't work, then you can always escalate your attempted interventions to a higher level or perhaps a more risky level if that's your choice.
But don't start out with risky surgery, have that fail, and then say, oh, I wish I would have tried seropeptase and body rolling because that would have made my life a whole lot better.
Hope this all makes sense.
Thank you for joining me.
