Time Text
All right, I've got a breaking news update for you on the Firearms Protection Act in the state of Texas.
This is Mike Adams, the Health Ranger with naturalnews.com.
I called and spoke with the Chief of Staff of Representative Steve Toth, who represents the Woodlands Area District in the state of Texas.
Amy Lane is the Chief of Staff, and she confirmed with me today that Mr.
Toth, Representative Toth, is introducing a bill called the Firearms Protection Act.
And that that act is currently being worked on, drafted by attorneys, and that they expect the draft to be completed by next Tuesday, the 22nd of January, 2013.
And this act is very closely modeled after the Wyoming Firearms Protection Act that was just introduced recently by representatives in that state.
And that act in Wyoming made it a felony crime for any individual, including a federal agent, to enforce a gun restriction, a gun ban, or a limitation on magazine size for ammunition.
So, for example, Obama looks poised to announce that gun magazines can no longer legally be sold if they can hold more than 10 rounds of ammo.
In Texas and Wyoming, if these bills pass, it will make it a felony to enforce Obama's unconstitutional, illegal executive order.
Now, I'm a big fan of the Firearms Protection Acts of Texas and Wyoming, and when I spoke to Amy Lane today, she confirmed with me that there has been a massive outpouring of support for Representative Steve Toth in Texas for his bill that essentially works to nullify the federal government and its unconstitutional, in fact, criminal gun-grab order.
It's a dictatorial type of order, and I'll get to that in a minute with more details.
Oh, by the way, do you like my new studio?
This is what I'm going to do when I want to get something done in a hurry and I don't have time to go into the regular studio.
I'm just going to shoot it right here with all my farm supplies on the wall.
So if you are a supporter of the Second Amendment and the Bill of Rights, and even just the separation of powers in the federal government you know the executive should be separate from the judicial separate from the legislative branch of government that that those three separations of power is what creates stability and prevents a tyrannical dictator from coming into office and taking over if you're a supporter of that separation of powers i am urging you right now to call your state representatives especially
if you live in texas Or Wyoming.
Call your state representatives and urge them to support the passage of the Firearms Protection Act in those states.
If you live outside of those two states, I urge you to call your representatives and demand that they create a Firearms Protection Act in their state.
I mean, come on, we should have this in Kentucky, we should have this in Louisiana, in Florida, in Arizona, even in New Mexico, Colorado for sure, Missouri, you know, Kansas, all over the country we should have this.
Oregon.
In fact, even Northern California should have this, even if Southern California doesn't want to go along with it and Sacramento, of course.
But we all have the constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms.
That constitutional amendment, the Second Amendment, does not say unless the voters don't want you to.
The Constitution was not up for election in November of last year.
Obama may have won the popular vote just by a slim margin, and by the way, most people didn't even vote, so most people didn't vote for Obama, but even if he won the election, the Constitution wasn't up for election.
It is never up for election.
The Bill of Rights is a set of rights that you have Without question, that can never be taken away from you, not by any government, not by any court system, not by any legislator.
They cannot be taken away from you.
That's why they are called the Bill of Rights.
In fact, the Bill of Rights doesn't even grant them to you.
All it does is describe the rights that you were born with, granted by the Creator.
This is your birthright.
You can't give it up to a tyrant in Washington just because he has a political agenda to pursue.
So if you want to protect the Bill of Rights, all of them, not just the Second Amendment, I urge you to get on the phone right now and call your representatives in your state and urge them to nullify illegal, unconstitutional federal laws.
Now the Texas bill, to get back into those details, says that the state of Texas will be barred from using any money or any personnel to enforce unconstitutional, illegal gun grabs, gun confiscations, ammo magazine restrictions, you name it.
So not only does the state not have the power to enforce those, but any feds that would come into Texas would be considered felons, felony criminals, if they attempt to enforce those Obama executive orders, which are unconstitutional and illegal, in the state of Texas.
This is what needs to be done all across America.
If you believe in America, if you believe in liberty, I don't care if you're a republican or a democrat or a libertarian or an independent or a political agnostic.
No matter what your belief system politically, you must believe in the separation of power.
That is the foundation of freedom.
Anytime one person or one institution or one branch of government gets too much power, it becomes dictatorial.
It becomes a tyranny.
We are seeing that happen with Obama right now.
And Bush is guilty of that before him.
And other presidents are guilty of that.
Other presidents use executive orders in a highly inappropriate way.
But today with Obama, what we're seeing with his executive order, his 19 orders that are restricting guns and ammo magazines and all these other things, we're seeing a dictator operate in a way that, number one, bypasses Congress.
Number two, there's no vote.
On his orders.
He writes it and invents it himself.
There's no vote, there's no debate, and there is no representation of the people.
You got that?
You think you voted for a senator or a congressperson or even a state senator or a state congressperson?
You think that that vote counts because you're represented, right?
As an American?
You believe that?
Obama just nullified you.
All of you who voted, Obama nullified you, nullified your power by bypassing your representatives in Congress.
That is illegal.
That is Obama trying to make himself the king of America.
That is the kind of action that a dictator would pursue as he is seizing power and trying to take over control of the country.
And that is what we're saying today.
We must survive.
Stop this for the sake of America.
We must stop not just Obama by name, but we must stop any future president from seizing this power under executive orders to bypass law, bypass voting, bypass debate, bypass representation and just dictate to the people whatever he wants to do.
That's what we're seeing in America today.
And thank God we have people in the state of Texas like State Representative Steve Toth who is standing up to this madness and saying, we here in Texas, we will nullify the federal government and its tyrannical attempts to stomp on our rights and criminalize our law-abiding citizens for owning and possessing guns and ammo magazines that they purchase legally with background checks, with concealed carry permits like I have.
We are not criminals.
We are the upstanding members of society.
We are the anti-criminals.
We're the people who stop crime.
If we had been in that school in Sandy Hook, we would have pulled out our Glocks and our rifles and our shotguns and we would have taken out the bad guy and protected the children.
But Obama wants to turn us into criminals.
Hundred plus million gun owners in America are now being blamed for the actions of one crazy individual who was on psychiatric drugs to begin with.
This is irrational.
This is unreasonable.
This is illegal, and it is unconstitutional.
And we, the American people, will not put up with this.
And especially here in the state of Texas, we will not put up with this.
We stand firm on our Second Amendment rights, our Bill of Rights, our National Constitution, and our State Constitution, and the freedoms and liberties that we are born with, granted by the Creator.
We will not give those up.
Not to a madman, not to a tyrant, not to a popular charismatic leader who thinks he has a mandate but really doesn't.
He's limited by law.
He's limited by the Constitution.
He is limited in the same way that our founding fathers were limited because they wrote that into the Bill of Rights and the Constitution to limit the power of government precisely for this reason.
Because they knew that a tyrant would come along one day and want to be king and want to mandate everything and want to write Law and not have it debated and not have it voted on and not have the representation of the people.
They knew that would happen because that's what they saw happening in England with the King of England.
So that's why they wrote the Bill of Rights to say this is where we draw the line.
You cannot take away the guns.
You cannot censor speech.
You cannot illegally search people without just cause and a warrant.
You cannot quarter soldiers in a person's home.
You cannot torture a person and force them to speak against their will and testify against themselves, the Fifth Amendment.
You do not have these powers, Obama and Holder and Cuomo and all of you people who think you're now dictators but are about to learn a very important lesson in history, which is that your powers are limited.
The real power in a republic is with the people.
And the people are rising up, speaking out, expressing their rights To save their republic from tyranny.
And I'm with them.
And we are going to save this republic from tyranny.
We're going to take it back from the tyrants who are trying to take over.
So help me God.
