Shock findings: Whey protein cleaner than vegan superfood protein

Hi, this is Mike Adams, the lab director and food scientist at the Natural News Forensic Food Lab.
I've got some shocking results for you if you consume vegan protein products.
Now, if you go to labs.naturalnews.com and you click on proteins, you'll notice there's not actually a lot there right now, but we're going to be publishing more proteins here shortly.
Currently, we have muscle milk.
If you click on that, You can see the actual heavy metals test breakdown.
Everything from aluminum and copper to lead, even uranium we put in here.
It's kind of interesting.
We even test for cesium, which has radioactive isotopes, although this is not a radioactive isotope that's tested in this case.
We show you microscopy tests and so on, but what I'm really here to tell you about is these results on vegan proteins are quite shocking.
we've been seeing some relatively high levels of cadmium and lead in many of the very popular vegan proteins, including ones that are marketed as being, quote, better than organic.
And they have a lot of strong marketing, very aggressive marketing around them.
So we decided to compare them to this protein, One World Whey protein, which is derived from, of course, whey, dairy, you know, from cows.
And it turns out that One World Whey protein, believe it or not, tests a hundred times cleaner than the most popular vegan proteins.
I know that's a shock, right?
Most people who are into superfoods and vegan living and vegetarianism and so on, they assume that vegan proteins are going to be cleaner than dairy-derived proteins.
And I have to admit, I thought that for a long time too.
But now that I run the lab and I'm doing the lab tests, I'm seeing very different results.
So let me show you exactly what we are finding.
Popular vegan proteins.
By the way, I'm not naming brand names right now.
But I am going to roll out more detailed testing in a few weeks is the plan with more detailed analysis of what's out there.
But just taking it in a general sense, popular vegan proteins.
The exception to this being hemp, by the way.
Hemp protein we've consistently found to be very, very clean.
So if you're buying hemp protein from Nutiva, for example, or Ruth's Hemp Foods, that's all very clean stuff in terms of heavy metals.
So I'm not implying that hemp proteins are in this category.
So lead, the popular vegan proteins are 0.2 to 0.8 parts per million, whereas One World Whey was zero.
Pretty interesting.
Cadmium, 1 to 2 parts per million or 1,000 to 2,000 parts per billion in the popular vegan proteins here.
And then One World Whey protein was 100 times less on cadmium.
Cadmium is a toxic heavy metal that causes kidney damage and skin disorders and hardening of the arteries and many other things.
Anyway, I'm not going to go through all these one by one, but you can see...
In every case, the One World Whey protein was significantly cleaner than the popular vegan proteins that are being widely consumed by superfood lovers and vegans, people who are interested in healthy living.
So, as I mentioned here, this is proof that One World Way comes from really clean cows who are eating clean food, because you can't fake these results.
Now, I was not paid anything by One World Way to run this test.
In fact...
Oh, by the way, here's our Low Heavy Metals Verified logo.
You're going to start seeing that more as we assign this to foods that we test that happen to do really, really well.
In terms of the low heavy metals.
So we are testing hundreds and hundreds of products right now at the labs, labs.naturalnews.com here, and you can see some of the products we're testing.
We just did a big announcement about cereals.
You can click on foods and you can see all these cereals.
You can get a full breakdown of the heavy metals that are in them, like, let's take Flax Plus from Nature's Path, pretty darn clean cereal, as most of these cereals are.
You can compare that to things like this wheatgrass powder which has significantly higher levels of lead and arsenic and copper than the cereal that we just looked at.
So pretty interesting stuff.
But we test all kinds of products and we happened to find that this One World Way was just really really clean.
So after that we decided to carry it in our store.
So we do sell One World Way now and here's our store.
And we ask that people, if they want to help support our laboratory function, the fact that we're doing this testing, we're the only ones in the world doing this testing and freely sharing this with the public.
We're sort of doing the job the FDA should be doing, but has refused to do.
And this lab costs over a million dollars to build.
So anyway, if you choose to, you can buy these clean products from our store and we earn a little bit on that and it helps us fund our laboratory operations so we can keep doing more tests and bring you more of this information, which obviously is very important to everybody.
But I know some critics would say, oh gosh, you're just pitching a product that you're selling.
Well, actually, it's the other way around.
First, we tested it and we found it was really, really clean.
And then we said, well, let's help support this company, One World Way.
Let's support this small business that's doing a great job and having very clean food, and let's also make this available to our readers at the lowest prices available anywhere.
So that's what we did, and I think that's a real positive thing.
Whereas a lot of online retailers will just sell anything no matter how polluted it is.
And they don't even check, oh my god, what's wrong with this dude?
That is some interesting flexibility.
Okay, I don't see all these ads all the time until they show up.
It's like, what?
What is that?
I'm twisting my head trying to figure that out.
Let's see if we get a different ad if we refresh.
No, it's the same ad.
Five worst treatments for back pain.
Is this like before the back pain or after the back pain?
That's what I'm trying to figure out.
Okay.
All right.
Enough tangents on that discussion.
So anyway, One World Way, just to let you know...
It's not my company.
It's not my brand.
In fact, we are helping this brand in a big way by offering them this publicity and this free lab testing that we did at no cost to them.
They weren't even aware that we were doing it.
And so we're just spreading the good news, you know, and helping these companies do well that are selling clean products.
Whereas, again, in comparison to this, many of the vegan proteins, the raw, vegan, you know, sort of better than organic proteins we're testing, are showing up as having very, very concerning levels of lead and cadmium and other metals, too.
Things that some of you may have never even heard of some of the stuff that we're finding in some of these products.
Anyway, this is a shocker.
Now, I realize that a lot of people, because we've already posted this story on Facebook, and I've kind of scanned some of the responses, and some people are angry about this.
I'm like, what?
How can you dare say a dairy-derived protein is cleaner than a vegan protein?
Vegan protein is the cleanest, always has to be the cleanest.
Well, come on.
If you believe that without...
Any real look at the evidence, then you're not being rational about it.
You could say, theoretically, vegan proteins might be cleaner, but in actuality, in the lab tests, it turns out that this whey protein is much, much cleaner.
So we've done the test.
In fact, check it out.
These are the lot numbers that we tested.
For the one-pound vanilla, we tested VC4677 and so on.
We show you exactly the lot numbers that we tested so that anyone can replicate our tests that we did using atomic spectroscopy, ICP-MS, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.
So, this is real.
This is real.
This is real weird.
This is real about One World Way being 100 times cleaner.
So, based on this information, I don't know if you're a vegan.
If you are into whey protein or if you're into vegan proteins or what you're into, I don't know.
But if you want to have a clean diet and you want to get the lead out of your diet and out of your brain because lead lowers IQs and cadmium causes kidney damage and mercury causes neurological problems and arsenic is linked to cancer.
If you want to get these things out of your head and out of your heart, out of your kidneys, out of your liver, You're going to have to get them out of your food.
It's just basic common sense.
You're going to have to get them out of your food.
So that means you're going to have to start choosing cleaner food.
And in this case, One World Way is just so much cleaner.
I have to tell it like it is.
I know some of you are like, no way, how could that be?
Well, it is.
Somehow, they have to be using really clean cows.
So, yay for them.
Yay for One World Way.
Good job.
The company is doing a great job.
Let me show you something else here.
Breakfast cereals.
Look at this dude.
A little vaccine shot to the brain.
See, that's mercury.
Damages your brain.
In that case, we're talking about aluminum hydroxide.
But popular breakfast cereals, we've also covered these in a previous video.
But here you can actually see the chart of how much heavy metal is in the breakfast cereal.
And if you go down here, the reason I mention this is because...
You see this number, 226?
That was the highest total count that we found of arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury in any cereal that we tested.
That's parts per billion.
And these numbers are not very high.
When it came to vegan proteins, we found numbers that were like way over a thousand total.
In fact, I'm trying to think about, wait, 1,000?
Over 3,000?
In fact.
So the vegan proteins we're testing are like way higher than any of these cereals by many, many factors.
You know, many multiples is what I mean.
Hmm, something to think about, isn't it?
I do have a working theory that I'm more and more confident is true.
And this has to do with the extremely high levels of insanity that I've noticed among raw food vegans.
Now, don't take this the wrong way if you're a raw food vegan.
She was like, how can I not take that the wrong way?
Well, you know that some of your friends are totally insane, right?
We've all seen that.
You know, I've been to the raw food events.
I've been a speaker at many events.
I've been part of the raw food movement for a long time.
And raw food movement is really pretty awesome.
There's a lot of great people in it, a lot of great information.
But I've also noticed that there's a much higher percentage of crazy people in the raw food movement than normal people on the street.
And you may be laughing if you're hearing this because you know exactly what I'm talking about.
They're a little crazy.
Or sometimes not even a little.
They're like stark raving mad might be the correct way to describe it.
Well, what makes people crazy?
These metals.
Lead.
Cadmium.
Mercury.
And copper.
And it turns out that...
I didn't even write about copper here.
But if you go to...
Let me see if I can find it here.
If you go to something here and you click on copper...
Check this out.
Come on, website.
Actually, it's my local bandwidth.
Kind of slow.
I'm in a remote location.
If you look at the toxic effects of overconsumption of copper...
It actually causes schizophrenia.
It causes craziness.
Oh, wow.
Okay, my bandwidth is off.
So I'm not going to be able to show you that.
But copper is associated with crazy people.
So very high copper diets can easily be caused by consuming...
Vegetarian foods.
But if you have a very low zinc diet and a very high copper diet, you have a much higher risk of mental insanity and schizophrenia and things like that.
So that's actually something that I think is very common in In the raw food vegan community, where people are getting way too much copper and not enough zinc in their diets.
And then they're making it worse with some of the proteins that are high lead, high cadmium, high mercury, and so on.
So I'm going to be studying this more and looking at the composition of vegetarian and vegan foods, especially heavy metals, versus nutritive minerals, such as vanadium and selenium and so on, magnesium, chromium, that kind of thing.
And I think we're on to some really important information here that raw food vegans especially need to be aware of so that they can save their own brains and not go down the path of insanity like we've seen so many do.
So anyway, that's what I wanted to share with you today.
Again, just a small plug.
If you want to buy One World Whey Protein, buy it from the Natural News store, please, if you want to support us.
Or if you just want to support One World Whey, the company, and you don't want to support us, just buy it on Amazon.
I don't care.
Buy it wherever you want, but if you want to support us, buy it here.
And we make a little bit on that.
That helps us fund our operations.
And we're doing some really important work here.
We are...
Publicly, freely sharing the results of heavy metals testing so that you can eat a cleaner diet and you can choose to avoid foods that are high in these toxic metals and consume foods that are low in these toxic heavy metals.
And that's empowering you.
And I thank you for your support and all your positive feedback that you've given us here and me, myself, the Health Ranger, in pursuing this mission.
