[00:01:28] I'm going to say something to you that is rather axiomatic, pretty obvious, but I'm going to say it nonetheless. [00:01:35] Nobody cares about celebrity opinions. [00:01:38] Nobody. [00:01:39] Nobody. [00:01:41] I mean, there are some conservative types who have opinions, but we don't, I throw myself to it, we don't believe in the particular underlying ideology because a conservative We say, oh, that's interesting. [00:01:54] He thinks the way I do. [00:01:56] I don't know anybody who said, you know, I never really understood this politics thing until I heard Lee Greenwood or until Kid Rock said something. [00:02:05] Now I understand. [00:02:06] Now, Elon Musk is a different story. [00:02:08] That's a different kettle of fish. [00:02:11] But you know what I love more than anything else? [00:02:12] I love an obvious poll. [00:02:14] I like studies that are commissioned to point out the obvious. [00:02:19] There is a recent AP NORC, N-O-R-C, the National Opinion Research Center. [00:02:28] I know they've got a hell of a team this year. [00:02:30] But a recent AP NORC poll, sounds like North Pole, NORC, sounds like the way some people say NORC. [00:02:38] A NORC poll reveals that most Americans, particularly Republicans, get this, are, to put it mildly, Uninterested in hearing political opinions from supposed celebrities and professional athletes and the like. [00:02:59] Now the survey conducted by the Associated Press in collaboration with the University of Chicago's NORC highlights a significant I'm understanding a divide along party lines regarding public figures' involvement in political discourse. [00:03:23] Now, listen to this. [00:03:24] While just under 40% of Democrats expressed approval just under 40% expressed approval of celebrities sharing their political views, only 11% of Republicans And 12% of independents agreed. [00:03:48] What does that mean? [00:03:50] It means they're more independent. [00:03:53] They're more sure of what they believe in. [00:03:56] They don't need some Taylor Swift or Oprah, whoever it is, telling you what they think. [00:04:03] 40% for Democrats, 11% and 12% for Republicans and independents. [00:04:08] Our response is regarding... [00:04:10] Professional athletes followed a similar trend. [00:04:14] 39% of the gullible Democrats giving a damn and approving of athletes who were voicing political ideology compared to 16% of Republicans and 15% of Independentism. [00:04:28] I find that fascinating. [00:04:30] That may be one of the biggest problems between us. [00:04:33] Now, throughout the 2024 election, many Many, many, many, many, many conservative commentators reiterated almost to the point of almost like a rote recitation. [00:04:47] Their indifference towards celebrity endorsements. [00:04:50] In fact, their contempt of anything. [00:04:52] Arguing, many of them said that such opinions do not resonate or in any way impact upon the opinions or the policies regarding middle and lower classes. [00:05:03] And the sentiment, the idea, and the thought This underscores a broader skepticism, to put it mildly, among Republicans about the political influence of public figures. [00:05:14] You know, what does it matter in the first place? [00:05:16] I think this is incredible. [00:05:18] The poll also sheds a mind, I like this, on broader trends in media consumption. [00:05:22] Now dig this. [00:05:24] With 65% of respondents indicating a desire to reduce their intake of 60-65% indicated a desire to reduce the intake [00:05:54] of this nonsense. [00:05:55] Additionally, 50% said that overseas conflicts is a factor and 40% Pointed to the economy and climate change as reasons for cutting back on news consumption. [00:06:10] It's very interesting. [00:06:11] It's almost like saying the subject matter makes me want to pull back. [00:06:16] You know, all that foreign stuff. [00:06:18] I don't want to talk about that there foreign stuff, so I want to cut back on the consumption because of maybe the subject matter? [00:06:25] And the findings suggest a growing fatigue, an ennui, an ennui Christian soldiers, an ennui of boredom. [00:06:33] With political commentary and analysis particularly from and specifically from non-traditional sources such as celebrities and athletes and influencers and the like highlighting what many people believe to be a significant and broader shift among the American population who frankly don't give a damn one way or another. [00:06:56] But the most important thing to remember is that Democrats Think about this. [00:07:03] This is the most important. [00:07:03] Let me go back to this one particular. [00:07:05] This fascinates me. [00:07:09] 40% have approval. [00:07:13] They approve of celebrities sharing this. [00:07:17] And actually, look forward to it. [00:07:19] 40% with 11% of Republicans and 12% of Independents thinking the same thing. [00:07:24] What does that tell you? [00:07:25] What does that tell you? [00:07:26] It means, very simply, that we don't care what they have to say. [00:07:32] Think about this. [00:07:33] Which celebrity person do you not care about? [00:07:40] Or sports person? [00:07:41] Colin Kaepernick? [00:07:42] Robert De Niro? [00:07:43] Whoopi? [00:07:44] Sonny Hostage? [00:07:46] Whoever these people are. [00:07:48] Barbra Streisand? [00:07:49] How about Tom Hanks? [00:07:51] George Clooney. [00:07:53] That made an effect, didn't it? [00:07:54] Wasn't that important? [00:07:55] Huh? [00:07:57] George Clooney. [00:07:59] Dear God. [00:08:03] We despise these people. [00:08:05] It's official. [00:08:07] You know what else is official? [00:08:08] You're not going to believe this. [00:08:08] Here's a stat I still can't believe. [00:08:12] 87%. [00:08:12] 87% of people who watch my videos never subscribe. [00:08:20] And I'm sure it's not the same for me. [00:08:21] It must be others. [00:08:23] So I ask you, dear friends, I respectfully request for you to do the same. [00:08:28] Subscribe. [00:08:29] Hit that like button. [00:08:30] And also hit that little That's right.
