[00:01:37] Bill Maher is inapposite. [00:01:39] Bill Maher is a guy who was at the end of the entertainment and opinion trajectory who comes across as a royal smartass who has not thought of anything On his own, in his life, he has writers and prompter writers, and he's under this delusion, self-imposed or otherwise, that he's funny. === A Black Person's Perspective (06:28) === [00:02:01] That notwithstanding, it's a free country, you can say whatever you want. [00:02:05] Charlemagne the God is Imane, huge, enormous, brabdingnagian. [00:02:18] The future, the current, And the currency of political opinion on a level and a platform heretofore unknown and certainly never able to be appreciated by Bill Maher. [00:02:32] When asked whether a black person has to be ten times better or five times better, Bill Maher said, oh my god, that's so old-fashioned. [00:02:45] Listen, Billy, what do you know about that? [00:02:50] Is it possible that a black person in this country has to be ten times better or five times better? [00:02:55] We can argue about the math, but I understand exactly why somebody would say that. [00:02:59] I understand exactly why somebody would say that. [00:03:02] I understand why a black person would say that, or a woman, or a black woman. [00:03:07] Absolutely. [00:03:08] And moreover, if somebody were to say it, how am I and who am I as a... [00:03:14] White man, or actually more beige, to tell a black person, no, you don't know what you're talking about. [00:03:20] Because I, from my lofty perch, see things in a way and in a view that comports with my worldview. [00:03:34] Who am I to say this? [00:03:36] Who am I to tell a black person, or anybody, black, Trans, gay, white if I'm black. [00:03:46] How do I tell somebody in another position, from another point of view, how do I tell them? [00:03:54] Or how do I even suggest for a moment that they're wrong? [00:03:57] See, this is this arrogance. [00:03:59] And then, by turning and citing two or three or some other black intellectual or economist who disagrees with this, Provide something disputatious. [00:04:13] Somehow that's going to what? [00:04:15] Negate what Biden or his script or speech writer said? [00:04:21] Or what Charlemagne said? [00:04:24] Do you not? [00:04:26] I know nobody wants to say this. [00:04:28] But do you think that, and I'm not sure if it's racism, but do you think for a moment that we react differently? [00:04:37] Let me ask you a question. [00:04:40] If I ask people around the country the following, let's assume I could conduct an experiment where, almost like candid camera, we have a two-way mirror, [00:04:56] and I am able to somehow measure, I don't know how, through functional imagery or whatever, a person's Satisfaction or racial dissimilarity index. [00:05:12] Meaning, they go to a clinic in this hypothetical and they wait for their doctor to come in. [00:05:20] They don't know who the doctor is, but they wait. [00:05:24] The door opens up and doctor number one is a white man in his 60s with white hair. [00:05:31] He's the doctor. [00:05:32] And somehow you can... [00:05:34] Measure satisfaction or faith registering. [00:05:38] Oh, okay. [00:05:40] Second case, same age, male, but a black man. [00:05:46] Third case, white woman, black woman, Asian man, Asian woman, Asian older man. [00:05:56] Every permutation of black, white, Asian, male, female. [00:06:00] Do you think... [00:06:02] That people would respond differently to just a doctor walking in in terms of, okay, I believe that. [00:06:08] Indian versus Chinese. [00:06:10] Italian versus Spanish. [00:06:12] A British accent versus a Spanish accent. [00:06:15] A New York accent. [00:06:18] If you think that we react the same to everybody, you're out of your mind. [00:06:23] If you think that we somehow react to people based upon some Unilateral, some consistent form of reaction. [00:06:34] You're out of your mind. [00:06:40] Charlemagne the God is right. [00:06:43] And Bill Maher may not like that. [00:06:45] And I'm not suggesting it's because of racism. [00:06:48] It might be class. [00:06:49] It might be culture. [00:06:50] It might be experience. [00:06:51] It might be a variety of things. [00:06:54] But if you think that a black man Is on the same playing field in terms of level as a white man? [00:07:10] Depending upon... [00:07:11] I don't want to get into the NBA. [00:07:14] I don't want to go through those. [00:07:16] I'm just talking about jobs and performance. [00:07:20] If you think a woman is on the same playing field, you're out of your mind. [00:07:28] And just do me a favor, and I think I speak on behalf of a lot of people. [00:07:31] Bill Maher, shut up! [00:07:34] It's a free country. [00:07:36] You're allowed to say what you want. [00:07:38] I can't tell you not to. [00:07:41] But you're an idiot. [00:07:43] And you're so hackneyed. [00:07:46] You're so osseous, concretized, ancient, predictable, so irrelevant. [00:07:55] Do you understand what I'm saying? [00:07:59] Absolutely irrelevant. [00:08:01] Inaposite. [00:08:02] Charlemagne, you're right. [00:08:04] And by the way, if I would make one more suggestion, there was some intimation from what I understand you're not sure, you're indicating you wouldn't be voting for Trump. [00:08:14] I think if you knew what was good for you and the country and the future, you would vote for Trump. [00:08:20] I know that would be hard for you to understand now, but I know if you're as smart as they say you are, you know that what I'm saying is right. [00:08:28] What do you think?
