[00:05:06]  A documentary cameraman, here's the latest one, who went on a test dive in the Titan submersible, not a submarine, a submersible, said the company's CEO and the creator of this, the builder, I guess, the developer of this festival, Stockton Rush, made a, quote, bizarre comment when the passenger raised some concerns about what would happen in an emergency.
[00:05:31]  And the fellow's name is Brian Weed.
[00:05:34]  Mr. Weed was a veteran camera man, operator, whatever.
[00:05:43]  And he was supposed to be a precursor, as they say, to a dive in the sub.
[00:05:52]  And moments after Weed, Expedition Unknown, I think was the name of it, it was a host.
[00:06:03]  This fellow by the name of Josh Gates.
[00:06:05]  They were locked in the sub with no way out except from the outside.
[00:06:11]  So Weed asks Dr. Rush, what would happen if the vessel had to suddenly make an ascent in an emergency?
[00:06:17]  You know, something that goes wrong.
[00:06:20]  And was nowhere near the mothership.
[00:06:22]  You know, what do you do?
[00:06:24]  And Weed, this gentleman, said that Russia, this is like double, triple hearsay, said, quote, well, There's four or five days of oxygen on board.
[00:06:33]  And I said, what if they don't find you?
[00:06:35]  And he said, well, you're dead anyway.
[00:06:39]  And he said he found Russia's response very, very strange.
[00:06:45]  He said it felt like a very strange thing to think and seemed to almost have, he said, quote, a nihilistic or nihilistic attitude towards life and death.
[00:06:55]  Now this, of course, could be bravado.
[00:06:58]  It could have been, you know, tough guys.
[00:07:01]  He said the whole point was, well, you know, when you're out there and they don't find you for many days, you're just going to die anyway, so whatever.

[00:07:31]  Now, Stockton Rush, according to Daily Mail, says he was in a video and he was in a video posted to the company's YouTube account years before his death and that of the other passengers.
[00:07:48]  He described the glue that was holding the Carver fiber submersible together, said it was like peanut butter and thicker than Elmer's glue.
[00:07:58]  Didn't take it too seriously.

[00:08:05]  Now, this might be bravado, might be bravura, might be brio.

[00:08:21]  I told you how there's this tendency now, this spate of crypto-homoerotic bravura on the part of so many men when I go out there and I'm tough and I go out there and I'm a platform jumper and I'm wrestling with the sharks and all this kind of stuff.
