You know, what I do is probably what you do.
Every single day, I spend a good part of my day, collectively, cumulatively, asking, what the heck is this all about?
Why does this occur?
Why do people allow this to happen?
Who's responsible for this?
Why would Anheuser-Busch?
Why would Target?
Why do people do things that they know is going to result in a backlash?
Why?
Tell me why.
Why does Major League Baseball, Budweiser, Disney, Target, Why do they face woke backlash and calls for boycott?
They know they're going to do it.
They're not winning.
Nobody is saying, hey, we're going to go to Target now because they have LGBT children.
I don't even know what this means.
What is a lesbian child?
They don't even know their favorite color.
Anyway, so that's what I want to discuss.
That's what we're going to talk about.
And explain a little bit why.
But first, you know what I've got to tell you.
You've got to like this video.
You've got to subscribe to the channel.
I know, I know.
Bear with me.
Everybody does it.
Come on, everybody does it.
At least I gave you a little bit of introduction.
Some people start begging you to sign up for the channel and they haven't said anything yet.
Also, hit that little bell, which is very important to be notified of live streams and new videos.
And first, I'm going to talk to you about our, listen, our great, great sponsor, MyPillow.com.
MyPillow, or pillow, some people say that, are absolutely incredible when it comes to just being great and terrific and dependable and perfect from pillows to slippers.
To slippers.
The slippers.
They sell more slippers than you can imagine.
I'm telling you.
Toppers and everything.
They are incredible.
Listen to me very carefully.
MyPillow.com But here's the thing.
You've got to mention, you've got to use the name or the code Lionel.
Promo code Lionel or else we don't get any credit.
Promo code Lionel.
Now.
Here's what's going on.
This is the most important.
The question you're asking is, why do these people do this?
Why would anybody in their right mind, why would anybody do this?
Let me explain something to you.
Type in, Google this, Human Rights Campaign, and I think it's Corporate Index.
This is my favorite.
Okay, here we go.
Corporate Equality Index 2022.
Human Rights Campaign.
The Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equity Index is the national benchmarking tool on corporate policies, practices, and benefits pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer communities.
Nothing about straight.
Nothing about straight.
And what happens is you go and you view the report And you see who is the best.
The best places to work.
Newly rated companies.
Fortune 500 employers actively participating in the 2022 CEI.
That's what this is about.
Even though the rest of the country says, what?
What?
So, you're saying, wait a minute.
What happens if a company like Target says, look, not for nothing, we wish you the best, we hope you're doing great, we wish you absolute success, but we can't be a part of this because our clientele doesn't cotton to this, doesn't dig this, doesn't prefer this, does not like this.
It doesn't matter.
Because the biggest companies in the world, the biggest, the vanguards and the black rocks and this, companies that own blocks of stock, blocks, shareholders, would say, if you don't do this,
if you don't comply, we'll basically act accordingly in Not rebuke, but in protest.
You might think to yourself, well, okay, maybe they'll do that, but why would they do it if it doesn't really make any sense?
It doesn't make any sense.
Why would they do that if there's going to be a backlash, stock is going to drop anyway, We're going to lose sales.
You tell me that one, and we'll both know.
I have not the foggiest idea as to how this happens, why this happens, what's the purpose of this.
I haven't a clue!
But it's insanity!
You're having Major League Baseball.
Bringing in cavalcades of groups, trans groups, I guess, almost parody groups, that do nothing but insult Catholics, blocks of fans, based upon their religion.
I don't think they would be allowing any blackface group in there.
Nor would I advise such.
What's going on?
Why does this happen?
How does this...
Where did this happen?
This is...
And by the way, this has nothing to do with Joe Biden, nothing to do with the Democrats, nothing to do with...
This is part of a shadow government, woke, a new world, a new sensibility, a new series of things and people and the like that are...
Incredible.
That absolutely confound, confuse, and seek to just, for lack of a better word, just add to this lunacy.
Because...
And we're not...
Passing judgment on the causes themselves.
If you do something that were to affect your bottom line and the fiduciary relationship you have with your shareholders.
For example, you might be pro-life.
That might not be a good idea to suggest stuff as a means or as a statement.
That you certainly can mention by virtue of your First Amendment rights, but that nonetheless are, that would turn off huge swaths and groups and factions and teams of your clientele.
You wouldn't do that either.
I believe very much in Second Amendment rights, but I wouldn't advocate that in my My merchandising?
Because there are people who don't necessarily see it that way.
Why would I want to inject in retail something that will be subject to divisive reaction?
There's a lot of things that I...
I happen to be against the death penalty, in my opinion.
I wouldn't put that in my...
And by the way, I am pro-choice, but...
Anti-Roe figured that one out.
So what we're seeing right now is we're seeing groups of people, Major League Baseball, Disney, Target, whatever, being told, we don't care what you think because the wrath and the economic problems you will feel by virtue of this,
by virtue of you going against us, will be worse than the wrath you will feel When huge swaths and proportions of your usual group, your customers, when they hit the bricks accordingly.
So this is where we are right now, my friends.
This is it.
It's wild.
So look up these numbers.
Very simple.
Look up the Human Rights Campaign and look up the Corporate Equality Index and that will explain to you the Dylan Mulvaney Project.
That will explain to you Target.
That is the reason for this.
It's not for any other reason than this.
Because if they don't, if you dare, as a retailer, incur the wrath of that particular group of folks and guess who's behind that?
Guess.
Do some research.
Look it up.
If you were to incur that wrath, you will find later on that this is a tremendous problem that you will have to deal with accordingly.
Alright, dear friends, thank you so, so very much for your thoughts and comments.
