[00:00:02]  So obviously this is a really tough tragedy to deal with, but I just wanted to talk to you about your perspective from a sheriff's standpoint with gun control and ask you how much of your call for gun control is rooted in your actual want for gun control as a sheriff and how much is driven by your own political ideology as a registered Democrat.
[00:00:21]  I don't have any button political ideologies.
[00:00:24]  I just do what's right for the community.
[00:00:26]  I don't worry about doing things to get re-elected or elected.
[00:00:30]  I just do what is right and safe for the people who want to go in the first place.
[00:00:36]  I'm for sensible gun control.
[00:00:39]  I understand it's possible.
[00:00:40]  There's more than one aspect, more than one discipline and dimension that's going to have to come into place for us to be a safe society.
[00:00:47]  We have to have Baker Act rules extended.
[00:00:51]  Police officers need to be able to take people into custody who post certain things for evaluation.
[00:00:58]  And it's just a whole plethora of things.
[00:01:01]  Why do you think there's not a lot of emphasis in the community being placed on the FBI dropping the ball?
[00:01:06]  Because I'm finding that a lot of the rhetoric, especially among community members, is very anti-Trump when really I think that law enforcement should be holding the FBI more accountable.
[00:01:16]  Would you agree or disagree?
[00:01:17]  I disagree.
[00:01:18]  This is the only person accountable for this killing is the detestable, cowardly murderer.
[00:01:25]  He is solely responsible for this horrific act.
[00:01:29]  He took away 17 lives of people who should be playing and are being in this park today.
[00:01:34]  There are things that from a communicative standpoint we'll look into.
[00:01:37]  All the agencies that might have been in contact with the killer are looking to see what we did right, what we did wrong.
[00:01:46]  Sole killings, these killings, these horrific, detestable acts are all the responsible to be killed.
