Liberty Hangout - Kaitlin Bennett - Can't Spell Hatred Without 'Red Hat' Aired: 2025-06-27 Duration: 07:10 === Red Hat Rebellion (04:29) === [00:00:00] Is there anything you can point to that is just like the worst thing about a Trump supporter? [00:00:05] their lack of knowledge, their lack of understanding of the United States and what the rules are. [00:00:11] If you believe in what the Red Hat represents, What does the red hat represent? [00:00:19] The red hat represents believing in Donald Trump and his regime and the things that he's doing, which are un-American. [00:00:29] How are you? [00:00:30] Hatred can't be spelled without red hat. [00:00:36] That is funny. [00:00:38] It's also true. [00:00:39] Okay, yeah, that is clever. [00:00:42] I've never seen one of these signs before. [00:00:44] Did you come up with this? [00:00:45] No, I saw it somewhere. [00:00:46] Well, we'll just pretend you came up with it because it's pretty good. [00:00:50] It's pretty good. [00:00:50] Okay, so what kind of hatred have you seen from people who wear red hats? [00:00:55] I've seen it today. [00:00:56] Oh, really? [00:00:57] Are there Trump supporters walking around? [00:00:58] There's a few red hats walking around, screaming at people, telling them Donald Trump is your president. [00:01:05] Well, is that true or is that hateful? [00:01:08] The way that it's being presented is hateful. [00:01:10] But of course, I mean, we all have seen the hatred. [00:01:14] People being deported and ripped away from their families, people losing their Like, do you blame Trump supporters for that? [00:01:22] I blame Trump supporters for getting us in the position that we're in. [00:01:26] I blame them for, you know, not paying attention, for allowing, for having so much hatred in their heart that they think that these kinds of things are okay. [00:01:38] And I hope some of them are realizing the damage that has happened. [00:01:43] What is this for? [00:01:44] What am I being interviewed for? [00:01:46] Well, my name is Caitlin Bennett. [00:01:48] My channel is Liberty Hangout. [00:01:50] I wear one of those red hats, and I don't think that I'm hateful, and I don't think that I spread hatred in any way. [00:01:56] And I would disavow anybody who wears a red hat to be hateful to you. [00:02:01] And so what is something that I could work on in your eyes that makes me hateful for wearing one of those? [00:02:07] Okay, well, if you believe in what the red hat represents. [00:02:12] What does that mean? [00:02:13] What does the red hat represent? [00:02:15] The red hat represents believing in Donald Trump and his regime and the things that he's doing, which are un-American. [00:02:22] He's not following the law. [00:02:24] He's not following the Constitution. [00:02:25] He's in fact shitting on the Constitution on a regular basis. [00:02:30] I understand that immigration needs reform, but there are due process laws in the United States. [00:02:37] He's not following any of them. [00:02:38] He is literally ripping people out of their families, out of their homes, out of their schools, out of their churches, out of their workplaces. [00:02:45] I mean, that is just one incident where that is not okay. [00:02:49] And our United States government does not have the right to do that without due process. [00:02:54] He's violated that from day one. [00:02:57] And people that are red hat wearers are allowing that to happen. [00:03:01] Is it wrong to just call us Trump supporters? [00:03:02] Like, you're focused on the red hat as if we aren't people. [00:03:06] I don't have a single problem calling you a Trump supporter. [00:03:09] Yeah, like you keep saying red hat wears, like you keep objectifying us into You keep calling us red hat wearers. [00:03:19] Is there anything you can point to that is just like the worst thing about a Trump supporter? [00:03:25] Their lack of knowledge, their lack of understanding of the United States and what the rules are. [00:03:31] Well the rules are you can't come into our country illegally. [00:03:35] You can't just cross the border when you're unvetted and you can't come here when we don't know who you are. [00:03:40] That is the law. [00:03:41] And the law is also before anyone can be deported, they have to be given due process. [00:03:47] And Trump signed an executive order to bring more immigration lawyers to the border and in ICE detention centers. [00:03:54] Don't say that due process is happening because it's absolutely not happening. [00:03:58] people are being deported. [00:03:59] Do you think people should have done due process to come into I'm on the fence. [00:04:06] I'm happy that they're defunding Planned Parenthood. [00:04:09] Okay, you also know that they're defunding Medicaid that helps support health care. === Supporting Work Requirements (02:55) === [00:04:14] I support stripping Medicaid from people who refuse to work and are able to work. [00:04:18] You know that that's not the majority of the people that are on those programs, right? [00:04:22] I don't care if it's the majority or not. [00:04:24] I support stripping people from welfare who aren't even willing to work 40 hours a month. [00:04:29] A lot of people that are on welfare or receiving benefits don't have the ability to work. [00:04:35] So that's not in the bill. [00:04:37] It's only able-bodied people. [00:04:39] $8 billion of the Medicaid budget has been paid. [00:04:49] So I think it's very reasonable to restrict the budget on that. [00:04:54] Okay. [00:04:54] You're lying right now, and you're lying based on what you've been told. [00:04:57] Okay. [00:04:58] And part of what I would encourage you to do is actually do your research on that because all of those things have been debunked. [00:05:04] Okay. [00:05:05] So that is. [00:05:06] What sources should I go to? [00:05:09] You can APR, NPR, actual news sites that are non-biased will tell you. [00:05:16] NPR is not biased. [00:05:17] NPR is much less biased. [00:05:20] Who do you go to for your news, Fox? [00:05:22] I typically. [00:05:22] No, I don't. [00:05:23] Where do you go for your news? [00:05:25] What if I said InfoWars? [00:05:28] There you go. [00:05:28] I don't. [00:05:29] I don't. [00:05:29] I mainly go to Matt Walsh and Michael Goals for their take, but I really like to go straight to the lawmakers themselves to explain their position. [00:05:38] And I'm not 100% in favor of the bill either. [00:05:42] It's a lot of spending. [00:05:44] Lack of funding for mental health. [00:05:48] That's a very broad term. [00:05:49] A lot of people chime in with the funding of sex operations for children as mental health or abortions as mental health, witches is not. [00:05:58] So that's a very broad term that should not just be funded and given money to. [00:06:03] I'm going to move on. [00:06:04] I appreciate your time though. [00:06:05] I want to move on to other people. [00:06:06] I appreciate your time and have fun out here. [00:06:09] It's a beautiful day, isn't it? [00:06:10] Thank you. [00:06:11] You're welcome. [00:06:11] Did you get permission to use whatever you have taken today? [00:06:16] I don't need your permission. [00:06:18] Oh, you don't? [00:06:18] No. [00:06:20] Okay. [00:06:20] Where does it say I need your permission? [00:06:22] I'm asking you if you're going to use this footage. [00:06:25] I'm curious what permission is. [00:06:26] I don't need your permission because I'm in public and you're in public and I can film here and I can speak to people here and then put it on the internet. [00:06:35] Okay, so that's your plan. [00:06:37] What is where would I find Liberty Hangout? [00:06:39] Okay. [00:06:40] Hit that subscribe button and the notification bell.
