Liberty Hangout - Kaitlin Bennett - The Most Sane Democrat Ever! Aired: 2025-02-19 Duration: 09:29 === Sharing Values, Freedom Speech (08:02) === [00:00:00] So she's going to come up to you and tell you not to engage with me. [00:00:02] Yeah, I mean this is incredible and I'm much more liberal than they are, right? [00:00:06] Yeah, she's not on our side. [00:00:07] She's not opposession. [00:00:08] Yeah, but that's exactly what the other people say, right? [00:00:11] Don't talk to people because we don't all share the same values. [00:00:15] Well, yeah, well, we don't all share the same values, right? [00:00:17] Correct. [00:00:17] But I share the value of freedom of speech. [00:00:20] Correct. [00:00:20] Right? [00:00:21] And I can talk to her. [00:00:23] Just know she's going to edit it and make you look like a fool. [00:00:27] Well, I think he's the most reasonable. [00:00:29] Well, you're right. [00:00:30] I'm just here providing safety. [00:00:32] I share your values, but I also believe in dialogue and freedom of speech, okay? [00:00:36] Don't conquer! [00:00:38] Hey, hey, this is freedom of speech. [00:00:40] This is why you're here, okay? [00:00:43] Do you appreciate people coming up and telling you who you can and can't talk to? [00:00:47] Well, I mean, you know, this just shows the hypocrisy for what it is. [00:00:51] My enemy are the people who suppress other people. [00:01:02] Oh, he actually approached me and wanted to know. [00:01:05] He wanted to know about me, ma'am. [00:01:08] He asked me, so you let women control what you do and who you talk to? [00:01:13] Don't talk to my husband. [00:01:15] Is he your husband or is he your dog, Donald Feach? [00:01:19] What's wild? [00:01:20] Well, I mean, the whole situation is wild. [00:01:24] Who? [00:01:24] Where? [00:01:24] Which one? [00:01:25] I mean that people who are supposed to be so liberal are against freedom of speech. [00:01:30] Yeah, isn't that weird? [00:01:31] So she's going to come up to you and tell you not to engage with me. [00:01:33] Yeah, I mean, this is incredible, and I'm much more liberal than they are, right? [00:01:37] Yeah, she's not on our side. [00:01:38] She's opposess. [00:01:39] Yeah, but that's exactly what the other people say, right? [00:01:42] Don't talk to people because we don't all share the same values. [00:01:46] Well, yeah, well, we don't all share the same values, right? [00:01:48] Correct. [00:01:48] But I share the value of freedom of speech. [00:01:51] Correct. [00:01:51] Right? [00:01:52] And I can talk to her. [00:01:54] Just know she's going to edit it and make you look like a fool. [00:01:58] Well, I think he's the most reasonable. [00:02:00] Well, you're right. [00:02:01] I'm just here providing safety. [00:02:03] I share your values, but I also believe in dialogue and freedom of speech, okay? [00:02:07] Okay, enjoy. [00:02:08] Just you've been warned. [00:02:10] Yeah, see, there you go. [00:02:11] Did you need that warning? [00:02:13] You seem like you have some wisdom on your side. [00:02:15] Well, I'm an extremely liberal person. [00:02:17] Okay. [00:02:18] But, you know, there's an old saying, liberals are often fascists on vacation. [00:02:27] And I'm against all forms of fascism, whether it's right-wing fascism or left-wing fascism, right? [00:02:33] I mean, the Democrats were in power for many years and they could have done something about immigration and all that. [00:02:39] They didn't. [00:02:41] And now it came back to bite them in the ass, right? [00:02:43] And they've turned their traditional values of the Democrats used to talk about economic policy about working-class people, not identity politics. [00:02:57] Come conquer! [00:02:59] Hey, hey, this is freedom of speech. [00:03:00] This is why you're here, okay? [00:03:04] Do you appreciate people coming up and telling you that who you can and can't talk to? [00:03:08] Well, I mean, you know, this just shows the hypocrisy for what it is. [00:03:12] But there's hypocrisy on both sides. [00:03:14] Don't get me wrong. [00:03:16] Absolutely. [00:03:16] I think this is terrible that Donald Trump is president of the United States. [00:03:20] But I have values that transcend politics. [00:03:22] Okay. [00:03:23] Right? [00:03:23] Yeah. [00:03:24] I have values that transcend. [00:03:25] Yeah, right, right. [00:03:27] So do you think there's anything that he's doing that's good? [00:03:30] Pardon me? [00:03:31] Do you think he's done anything good? [00:03:35] Yeah. [00:03:36] I mean, not. [00:03:41] There is no, absolutely no doubt that the and the economy. [00:03:52] There's a lot of corruption in government. [00:03:54] There's always been corruption in government. [00:03:55] Of course that needs to be addressed. [00:03:56] The way that he's doing it is that's the fascist dick dictator. [00:04:00] I'm against that, right? [00:04:01] Okay. [00:04:01] But I mean, I think many people agree that this country needs reform. [00:04:09] Okay. [00:04:10] You agree with reform, but not in the way that he's doing it. [00:04:13] That's correct. [00:04:13] Absolutely I don't. [00:04:14] That's fair. [00:04:15] That's a fair criticism. [00:04:16] And listen, I'm for a woman's right to make decisions about her own body. [00:04:23] But I understand the other people. [00:04:24] I understand why someone would be against abortion. [00:04:28] Absolutely I do. [00:04:29] That's a Rational position, right? [00:04:31] And this is, you know, often the problem that we're in now, right? [00:04:36] That it's, you know, people, you have to be honest and open with yourself, too, right? [00:04:45] You have to understand, you know, identity politics is not going to save the Democratic Party. [00:04:50] Right? [00:04:51] But I... [00:04:56] And I have heard nothing here to a day about the economy, about the poor, right? [00:05:02] They want to reduce their cultural critique to identity politics, and they've already lost on that. [00:05:11] They're their own worst enemies. [00:05:13] And I mean, does that make sense what I'm saying? [00:05:15] Yes, that does make sense that you've not heard one thing about the people in this country who the Democrats traditionally would champion and try to support. [00:05:24] What do you stand for? [00:05:26] How are you going to help working class people in this country, right? [00:05:30] That was always the concern of a traditional Democratic Party was working class people. [00:05:35] That's how they came to power, right? [00:05:37] It's the Democrats that's turned their back on working class people, and that enabled someone like Trump to come to power, right? [00:05:46] Trump's an oligarch. [00:05:48] And it's very interesting to me that if you look at Russia, right, you know, communism ended up in an oligarchy, right? [00:05:57] Well, look at this. [00:05:58] Democracy is capitalism is ending up in an oligarchy, right? [00:06:05] We all have a common enemy, right? [00:06:08] And both the right and the left want to confuse us as to who that enemy is, right? [00:06:13] My enemy are the people who suppress other people, right? [00:06:20] My people are. [00:06:23] And it was interesting that African-American fellow was talking about Jesus, right? [00:06:28] Well, when he quoted Jesus, he said, Oh, well, when they asked Jesus about what was the... [00:06:36] The area of hell... [00:06:38] What was the law? [00:06:39] What does it mean to? [00:06:44] Jesus said, love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. [00:06:51] But see, the Democrats, they don't want to use the G word, you know? [00:06:56] And so the Democrats have their own party. [00:06:59] They have their own problems. [00:07:01] But I don't see that the Democrats have solutions to the economic problems of America, right? [00:07:08] They want to act as if our problems is all in the realm of identity politics, right? [00:07:15] That's not going to get them anywhere. [00:07:17] Kamala Harris lost because she had no policy. [00:07:21] There was no there. [00:07:23] No one voted for her to be the primary nominee. [00:07:26] No, and you know, the Democrats really could put the Democrats are responsible for Trump because they turned their back on Bernie Sanders, right? [00:07:42] Bernie Sanders was actually leading a people's revolution, and they shut that down right away. === Grassroots Movement Needed (01:42) === [00:07:48] For who? [00:07:49] Well, for the people who run and manage the Democratic Party, right? [00:07:53] Their corporate interest. [00:07:55] The Democrats have corporate masters that pull their strings, just like the Republicans have corporate masters that pull their strings. [00:08:02] So what we need is a grassroots movement that can actually bring people together on real economic issues and not, you know, these clashes of gender things. [00:08:16] But I admire your courage for coming out here. [00:08:19] It's a lot of fun. [00:08:20] It's a lot of fun. [00:08:21] Thank you. [00:08:21] I appreciate that. [00:08:22] What was your name? [00:08:23] Lynn Hubbard. [00:08:24] Well, it's nice to meet you. [00:08:25] My name's Kate. [00:08:26] And yeah, you're the most reasonable person I've talked to. [00:08:29] Yeah, thank you. [00:08:30] So what you just saw is what I strive for my content to be. [00:08:33] And while the other stuff is fun, that's really what I come out here to do is just talk to people. [00:08:37] But it's so hard to do that because I cannot find people who want to defend their ideas and stand up for what they believe in. [00:08:44] But he was the most reasonable person I think I've ever spoken to at any protest over the past five years, whatever it's been. [00:08:50] So props to him. [00:08:51] And that's what I strive to do. [00:08:53] And it's worth noting that people were trying to prevent him from talking to me because they're so worried that he's going to look silly. [00:08:58] They're the only ones that look silly in that situation and during this entire day. [00:09:04] So that's funny. [00:09:05] All right, let's keep filming content.
