[00:00:00]  I'm pansexual and non-binary and if I can be here supporting the Second Amendment and I don't even support Trump then I'm sure there's plenty of other people here that are a Democrat that support the same thing.
[00:00:11]  As a liberal, why is the Second Amendment so important to you?
[00:00:15]  It was established so we could have a regulated armed militia in case the government gets out control like we're seeing here.
[00:00:25]  If you could say anything to the governor right now after attending this rally, seeing how well it went, what would you say?
[00:00:33]  I would say that there were a lot of lies spread, you know, going on Twitter, seeing that a bunch of neo- and crazy Trump supporters are coming out here.
[00:00:42]  And I was born in Richmond, raised here my whole life.
[00:00:46]  I haven't seen any of that today.
[00:00:47]  I'm extremely liberal.
[00:00:51]  You know, kind of minority in a sense, my family, some of them were Jewish and fled the holiday.
[00:00:58]  They're coming to America.

[00:01:03]  And if I can be here supporting the Second Amendment and I don't even support Trump, then I'm sure there's plenty of other people here that are a Democrat that support the same thing.

[00:01:13]  So as a Democrat, you have a Democratic governor.
[00:01:17]  What do you have to say to him since, you know, you're on his side?
[00:01:21]  Not on his side, but, you know, you're in that party.
[00:01:25]  What do you have to say to him?
[00:01:27]  I would say that the party's been hijacked and he's along with it.
[00:01:32]  You know, this isn't what it should be about.
[00:01:35]  It's been corrupted, you know.
[00:01:37]  We got news not too long ago they did Blackface and historically he should be against that, you know?
[00:01:43]  And now he's trying to take away people's right to have guns.
[00:01:46]  There are plenty of minorities that need it to defend themselves.
[00:01:49]  If my relatives in the past had it and everybody in the community had it, they wouldn't have the fully Germany.
[00:01:55]  You know, this is for our protection and they want to limit that.
[00:01:59]  I have a handgun that decided last minute not to bring with me, but 15 rounds in that ain't enough, you know.
[00:02:06]  That's nothing.
[00:02:08]  Now they want to limit and have one handgun per month for buying.
[00:02:12]  They're trying to slowly erode our rights and he's a part of that and wants to do that.
[00:02:16]  So as a liberal who supports gun rights, what do you think when all of the Democratic candidates are on stage just going off about more background checks, more checks for this thing?
[00:02:29]  We have more than 20,000 gun laws on the book in the United States.
[00:02:34]  How's it feel watching the people that are supposed to represent you?
[00:02:37]  It just can be completely ridiculous when it comes to the Second Amendment.
[00:02:42]  I think they're out of touch.
[00:02:43]  You know, I'm a Bernie supporter.
[00:02:45]  I'm a Yane supporter.
[00:02:46]  And there's plenty of people that are in power and in government that are against it.
[00:02:50]  But if you turn around, they have a bunch of police here.
[00:02:55]  They have a fence set up that they're supposed to be against.
[00:02:58]  And that's supposed to protect them.
[00:02:59]  But when it comes to us, they don't want us to protect ourselves.
[00:03:04]  It kind of bothers me how some of them can be anti-law enforcement and want to put controls on law enforcement.
[00:03:10]  But then they turn around and say that they're supposed to protect us.
[00:03:12]  You gotta, you know, choose a side here.
[00:03:15]  Yes.
[00:03:15]  Like, it doesn't make any sense.
[00:03:17]  It's backwards to me.
[00:03:18]  I think they're out of touch.
[00:03:19]  I don't think any of them have to worry about that because they have Secret Service protecting them.
[00:03:24]  You know, they have the police protecting them.
[00:03:26]  But everyday citizens walking around the street need to protect themselves and can't rely on the cops sometimes.
[00:03:32]  As a liberal, why is the Second Amendment so important to you?

[00:03:44]  We have the Patriot Act that was enacted after the events of 9-11.
[00:03:48]  And I believe that it was used for good at first, but it's slowly been used as a tyrannical tool.
[00:03:58]  have freedom of press and freedom of speech being slowly eroded now and they want to take away our guns so we can't uphold that as well.
[00:04:08]  When are you going to switch sides?
[00:04:10]  When am I going to switch sides?
[00:04:12]  When are you going to take the red pill?
[00:04:15]  I don't think I will.
[00:04:17]  You know I'm anti-neoliberal and anti-establishment so I don't like Hillary and Obama and you know prior Democrat elected officials that we had.
[00:04:27]  I think we need some fresh blood that are in touch.
[00:04:30]  Definitely more libertarian stuff.
[00:04:32]  Okay, all right.
[00:04:33]  More libertarian.
[00:04:34]  More libertarian.
[00:04:35]  But you support Bernie Sanders.
[00:04:37]  Yes, I know.
[00:04:39]  Kind of mind-bottom one.
[00:04:41]  He loves taxation.
[00:04:42]  He's a socialist.
[00:04:44]  Well, some of his policies, some, such as guns, I'm against, you know, there's no candidate I think that one person can say they love everything about.
[00:04:53]  Absolutely.
[00:04:54]  Okay, I'm letting you off the hook today because we're here to talk about guns, but you're great.
