Louder with Crowder - Obama's Ridiculous Christianity/ISIS Comparison || Louder With Crowder Aired: 2015-02-05 Duration: 05:02 === Moral Equivalency Debate (04:56) === [00:00:02] So today, President Obama spoke at the presidential prayer breakfast. [00:00:06] He had a lot to say. [00:00:07] We see ISA, a brutal, vicious death cult that, in the name of religion, carries out unspeakable acts of barbarism. [00:00:18] And lest we get on our high horse, lest we get on our high horse, please, please do get on your high horse when it comes to ISIS, America. [00:00:28] Not only America, whole world. [00:00:30] If this doesn't warrant a moral high horse, nothing does. [00:00:35] Anyone could get on a moral high horse. [00:00:38] Of ISIS, ISIL, whatever it is he wants to tell you. [00:00:41] Jeffrey Dahmer, the B2K killers, Carla Homolka, could get on their high horse when speaking to ISIS. And I'd say, yeah, I can see it. [00:00:51] Remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ. [00:00:58] Okay, a couple of things. [00:00:59] Not all Christians are perfect. [00:01:02] Jesus was. [00:01:02] We've talked about this. [00:01:04] According to the historical context, whether you believe in the Judeo-Christian God or not, not every Muslim is a terrorist. [00:01:11] Of course not. [00:01:12] Muhammad was. [00:01:13] Different starting off point, a little bit. [00:01:18] And secondly, to equate the Inquisition, which is terrible, unacceptable, to the retaliatory action of the Crusades is something that people do a lot. [00:01:26] They conflate it. [00:01:27] Removing historical context, I hate that. [00:01:30] But creating a moral equivalency between the Christians of today and ISIS is unreal. [00:01:38] Is this real life? [00:01:40] It's not unique to one group or one religion. [00:01:44] Yes, it is. [00:01:45] It is entirely unique to one religion, and specifically right now, one very powerful group in ISIS. It is 100%, statistically nearly 100, as close as you can get to 100 without being 100% unique. [00:02:02] It's opposite day. [00:02:03] I believe that the starting point of faith is some doubt. [00:02:09] Not being so full of yourself and so confident That you are right and that God speaks only to us and doesn't speak to others. [00:02:24] That God only cares about us and doesn't care about others. [00:02:27] That somehow we alone are in possession of the truth. [00:02:38] I don't even understand what he's trying to say here. [00:02:40] Like, did he drink a bucket of salt water and he sneak into Joe Biden's medication? [00:02:44] I don't... [00:02:46] Okay, if you believe in a God, and you believe that God wants to communicate with his people, you would have to believe that he is only approving of one's group Of actions. [00:03:02] And disapproving of another. [00:03:04] This moral equivalency of, we shouldn't believe that God speaks to us in not burning people alive. [00:03:12] And then he just maybe, we're going to say what? [00:03:14] He doesn't speak to ISIS? Like he's not telling them, go burn them a lot? [00:03:17] I don't understand what he's saying here. [00:03:19] It doesn't make any sense. [00:03:21] The overarching principle that he's going with is trying to create a moral equivalency between, namely Christians, he invokes Christ a lot, but everyone else in Islam. [00:03:34] But let's go with his premise, Christians. [00:03:39] Sure, there are some Christians out there who don't believe in gay marriage. [00:03:45] Granted, there are even some who support Chick-fil-A. ISIS does this to equate what Christians in America believe or do with the actions of ISIS or Islamic terrorist groups. [00:04:03] And I've never said this before about Barack Obama, but I don't believe he's an ignorant person. [00:04:07] I don't believe he's a stupid person. [00:04:08] But to equate the two is downright evil or it paves the way for incredible evil. [00:04:17] If he actually believes that there is a moral equivalency between buying your coffee at Chick-fil-A because you like where the owner stands, or writing in a ballot saying, hey, I think a marriage should be a man, woman, and child, or saying, hey, I don't think you should be able to abort a baby past the third trimester. [00:04:35] If he believes that that is on the same moral ground, lest you get on your high horse, as ISIS... That's evil. === It Doesn't Get Much Better (00:18) === [00:04:47] And that's the first time I've said that. [00:04:50] It's incredible. [00:04:50] This is incredible.
