Americans React to FBI Raid on Mar-a-Lago

Hey guys, it's Rachel Ray with the Liberty Broadcast out here in the beautiful Austin, Texas, asking people what their opinion is on the FBI raid that happened at Trump's Mar-a-Lago home.
I believe if there is a reason to believe that he's guilty of something, whether he is from the right wing or from the left wing, he should be, you know...
There should be some kind of investigation.
There should be, I guess, a raid in this case, which is what happened.
So I believe it was justified if there was a reason to believe it was justified.
So something along those lines.
If it comes out later that there actually wasn't anything in the raid at all that comes out of this, would you still feel the same way?
If there was nothing that incriminates or...
Something of those sorts.
I think that is just not justified anymore.
So there should be some kind of investigation of the investigation that was taken upon.
And do you trust the FBI?
Well, I think that the people should trust their own government bodies, they should trust the security agencies, because I believe in the end they're doing work for the American people, the American civilization, not civilization, the American population.
So yeah, I think the people overall should trust, of course, trust but verify the famous Would you say that you trust the FBI?
I don't trust a lot of people.
Or a lot of things.
There's a lot of things I don't trust.
A lot of structured things I don't trust.
But, I mean, I always give things a second chance.
I feel like I don't really know that much about it.
Like, I don't really know why it happened.
I think, were they, like, investigating him for, like, a year or something and decided to do it now?

They're actually claiming that he has some classified documents in there.
Now they're saying that it may be some nuclear codes or something.

I mean, he definitely could have some documents.
I feel like if it was nuclear codes, though, they probably would have raided him a long time ago.
I feel like him having the nuclear codes when he's not the president would just be insane.

I feel like, in general, trusting large government corporations is not the best thing.
I don't really know too much about, like, the FBI.
They've definitely done some fucked up shit in the past.
But, uh, I would say in general, like, I hope they're out for the greater good, but I don't really...

I understand, like, a lot of people don't like him, and I know that they've been sort of going after him for a while.
I think that, I mean, it's possible they had, you know, justification for it.
I do think the timing is a little convenient, especially because I know that, like, the sort of the looking into him definitely didn't stop, like, after, you know, Biden won.
But I feel like things kind of slowed down, and now they're seemingly, like, picking back up.
And, I mean, with him probably going to run again, it seems a little interesting.
But, you know, maybe he had something.
I don't know.
And do you trust the FBI?
I mean, you know, we don't hear much about, you know, agencies like that, I feel like, besides the big headline stuff, like, hey, FBI raided Mar-a-Lago, you know, so I...
I mean, I don't think there's, like, some super huge conspiracy, like they're evil, but, like, I don't know.
I mean, I'm sure it's definitely possible that there's some not-so-great stuff going on.
I do believe that there is a part of our federal government and the FBI that still has the best interest of the people in mind.
I think the corruption is a lot deeper than what people believe that it is or how far it actually goes.
I don't think anybody really knows.
I think that the raid was founded, and I don't think that we're being given all the information that there is to have as the public, which we deserve.
And if they're to find nothing out of the raid, do you feel like there should be an investigation on the initial raid?
Definitely.
Definitely.
Why it was called into practice and not for one party's favor or another, but just basically because everybody should be subject to checks and balances.

I guess it depends on what situation.
It comes like anything.
It comes like with anything in the government.
Obviously, there's some stuff that they don't tell us, but all we can do is hope that they are doing the best.
So I try to keep up with all this.
I haven't looked into this one as much as I probably should have been.

Do you feel like it may be politically motivated, or do you feel like it's justified?
I feel more politically motivated.

No, I don't trust the government at all.

I think it's all corrupt, and I think they try to turn people against each other and everything, so...

No, there's probably good reasoning behind it.
I just don't know, but, you know.
I think I saw Merrick Garland's going to move to unseal the warrant and reasoning behind it, so we'll see what it actually was.
And do you, just in general, do you trust the FBI?
No, but, I mean...
I definitely trust the FBI more than Trump, since he's a proven liar.
I mean, the FBI has a colored history, but they rank a little higher, I think.
What are your feelings whenever it comes to the FBI?

As long as they're not under Trump.
That's how I feel about it.
So, you know, I think you have to have some amount of trust in our government.

It's a waste of our money.
That truthfully is what the whole thing is about.
I mean, if he had something two years ago, why are you waiting two years into another presidency to go and search someone's house?

They want him to go ahead and, you know, announce that he's trying to run.
So this is something that's just trying to hurt the guy.
But truthfully speaking, I don't really think he had a good shot anyways.

I think there's a lot of other things we need to be raiding.
There's no understanding of why.

They don't even go look out for the main people in their party.

I basically think it's like a political theater.

For theatrics, most political agendas are and most of the things that are actually in the news.
So I kind of choose to be very partial to it and not pay too much attention to it.
