And then directly across the street, which we're going to now, is against trans transitioning children.

NATO, I ask.
Is this all we are?
Is this who we've told ourselves we are for all these years?

The Attorney General, after three years, is finally doing something to protect children in Texas.
And we are hopeful that the Governor of Texas will call a special session and put the bill to ban child modification procedures on the call because that is necessary.
The Attorney General's opinion only binds the agencies.
It does not bind the courts.
The families with children who cannot be here today
Because those children will turn on their parents and because they are afraid of attacks from the left and from radical activists are still having to fight it out in family courts for custody of their children because they're being characterized as child abusers when they won't go through with affirmation only therapy which is better I
couldn't be here today.
There are several kids.
There are 14,000 children presenting to these clinics in Texas.
Ask yourself why is that?
It is because these clinics have gone into our schools.
They have been educating school nurses and mental health providers in the schools.
And they are encouraging kids down this route as well as social media influences, peer influences, and the persuasion of Hollywood.
Why do we suddenly have so many children doing this?
It's not awareness.
It is a social contagion.
We have documented more than 25 clinics providing these services in Texas, but that does not even include Planned Parenthood or clinics that don't advertise these procedures going on.
We also documented that children are undergoing surgeries in Texas.
They are undergoing double mastectomies.
We've documented that children as young as 14 are undergoing these procedures.
And we also documented that boys as young as 16 and 15 are having orchiectomies.
So when they tell you nobody is doing surgeries on children, that's not the truth.
It's absolutely happening.
And that is not We also found that some of these doctors providing the hormones and the puberty blockers accept chips.
That means the Child Health Insurance Program.
The Child Health Insurance Program making taxpayers complicit in this child abuse.
And this has been going on for over a decade and Texans didn't know it.
We've seen a spike in children identifying as transgender because of the social contagion.
More parents are taking their children to these clinics because their children are not gender conforming.
Maybe they like toys that are more characteristic of the opposite sex or have interests that are more characteristic of the opposite sex.
That does not mean they need to undergo medical procedures.
The doctors are telling them.
The professionals are telling them.
That their kids are going to kill themselves.
This narrative has to be challenged.
Suicide is a social contagion.
And it is so much of a social contagion that even the media has requirements on how they report on it.
The very doctors performing these procedures on minors are members of the professional organizations that set these standards.
And these standards...
They have conflicts of interest.
The research is shoddy.
They're getting more tax dollars.
Talk about double dipping.
You're paying for the National Institute to help study so they can make research up to support their own procedures.
And you should see the graph of the growth of these clinics in the last few years since they've opened in Texas.
It is going this way.
It's shooting up.
And testify they're losing money.
That was a lie.
They are making money off of children.
Some of the studies they do are to prove what they're doing is not harmful.
So it's the fox farting the hen house.
And the other studies they are doing are to minimize the harm that they are doing.
They want to find ways to minimize the harm to the bones and to the...
to their fertility.
So they are admitting they know that this harms children irreversibly.
But you'll never hear that in our mainstream media.
I'm not sure what you're doing.

The National Institute of Health is funding a study that costs over $5 million and it's designed to provide evidence to support this.
And it affirms it.
Every institution in the country will come in agreement with this.
And they already actually have.
And the study's not even complete yet.
They will say that therapy is safe and effective.
That's what they're saying.
And once the federal government speaks, everyone falls in line.
Medical schools are training a couple fellows in this type of medicine a year.
I had a medical student contact me.
Because they had to drop out and switch medical schools because they would not violate their conscience and perform these procedures on children.
Even medical students are being coerced into these abusive practices on children.
The Genesis Clinic used mechanisms to grow its clinic, including training school nurses in Texas.
And mental health providers in the schools.
Do the parents know that this is happening?
Are the school nurses referring the children out to gender clinics?
The Genesis Clinic even has a strategy that involves when one parent does not agree, they'll go to an ethics committee and the parents will get education.
In other words, they'll be coerced.
And if possible, if one parent's not in the picture because the court has removed that person, then only one parent will end up consenting.
The reason we need a bill to pass is because children need to be protected.
And parents who are trying to protect their children from this should not be caught up in the family court system for years, costing them millions and all their family treasure.
Children need to be recognized as children first, not as tokens in a political agenda and not as transgender children.
Adult identity politics needs to be separated from the diagnosis and the treatment of children.
Children have the right to unbiased and impartial therapy.
Children should not be used as kinds In any group's political agenda.
The tactics that the trans ideologists are employing are more like recruitment than they are like care.
Nowhere was this more apparent than in the cases of detransitioners, which we have some of those with us here today, who regret their transitions.
They're influenced by the transition or die narrative and the subsequent death threats they receive after going public about This should be a wake-up call to everyone about the true nature of this movement.
This generation of children are effectively guinea pigs in an experiment for which we have no long-term clinical research trials.
We have no options for care or coverage for detransitioners who regret their transitions.
Transgender pipeline need care when they de-transition, something the geniuses behind this affirmation only model didn't think about.
Threatening parents and children with the suicide of young people and smearing opponents as transphobic are not arguments for this pathway, but silencing tactics.
Similar to how gender identity is a social contagion right now, suicide is a social contagion.
Adult transition does not reduce suicide risk.
We should not be providing irreversible medical treatments, and they are irreversible for issues relating to disordered thinking.
Medical records, historical records, government records should reflect the truth.
These are being changed for children and for adults.
Those are not medical treatments, they are not prescriptions, and they are not therapies.
And the state of Texas has already come into agreement with this ideology by allowing that to happen.
I am a trans widow, and I can tell you that means that my husband left to transition a long time ago.
Name and gender marker on his driver's license and other documents were changed before we even got a divorce.
That is not even appropriate.
Records should reflect the truth, no matter how you want to present.
Birth certificates in Texas now have a third gender.
Records should reflect the truth, and the truth is there's no third gender.
We must reverse course and stop adding deception in our state.
If a stranger did to these kids what doctors are doing to them, they would be thrown in jail.
But because they have MD after their name, it's supposed to be okay.
Stop the medical predation of children for profit now.
Three years ago, Governor Abbott Tweeted about James Younger and he said he and Attorney General Paxton were looking into the matter.
It is finally time to save James and the thousands of kids in Texas like him.

Hi, my name is Kevin Witt and I am the founder of Culture Warriors of America.
And I am here.
I want to say thank you all for being here, first of all, especially taking the time away from your family on a Sunday evening.
But I want to say, first and foremost, thank you to Attorney General Ken Paxton.
Thank you for finally saying the truth of what pediatric gender transition is.
And it is child abuse.
There is no ifs, ands, or buts, or any other way to look at it.
Pediatric gender transition.
is child abuse.
I don't stand here today because I dislike anyone or because I hate anyone like the left likes to say that I am a trans hater.
In fact, I know very well both sides of this argument because for 20 years I've lived my life as a transgender woman.
For 20 years I am 43 years old.
I came out of the closet at 15 in the 90s.
When it was not cool.
It was not trendy.
And I transitioned in high school.
I started dressing as a girl at 16 and living as a girl at 17. It was not cool back then.
I lived hell every day in school being bullied by people.
But I was a very feminine child.
I was a very feminine boy.
Naturally.
And some people Like to say, well, if a male is feminine, then they must be supposed to be a female.
That is a lie straight from the pits of hell.
Because let me tell you, just because someone, a little boy, is more feminine than the rest does not equate homosexuality and it damn sure does not equate transsexuality.
So anybody that says that is a lie.
And whenever I came out, I went to a gender therapist.
First of all, let's just go back and take a look at my past.
I lived a very dysfunctional life.
I was abused physically, verbally, and sexually by my father.
And I was raped when I was 15. So what else do you think that I would be whenever I hated men, I thought all men were evil and they wanted to harm me.
And all my role models were female.
I looked up to women.
Women were the strong ones.
Women were the ones that were bold and courageous.
So, of course, I wanted to be a woman because I had only negative male influences in my life.
I would say that probably most of these trans kids have a similar story.
Now, I'm not saying that all trans kids have been physically or sexually abused.
But the majority have been emotionally neglected.
When I say emotionally neglected, I mean their parents were not there in their life emotionally.
Not because they wanted to not be, not because they were bad parents, but just because parents, they do the best they know how to parent their children.
So, whenever I came out, I started going to a gender therapist.
Now, let me tell you, I went to this gender therapist one time.
On the first time I went, she said, "Oh!" I told her I had been sexually abused.
I told her all of the things that I grew up with.
What did she say?
"Well, you know what's wrong with you?
You were supposed to be born a woman.
Look at you." You look so pretty, impassable, blah, blah, blah.
And so I was like, oh, my God.
That's what's wrong with me.
My whole life, that is what has been wrong with me.
I was supposed to be born a woman.
But that's not the truth.
See, these therapists, these gender therapists, are taught in school to give affirmative care.
And that is it.
When a child goes to them with gender dysphoria...
Or with gender confusion.
They are to affirm the child, tell them that they are gender confused, and that they have gender dysphoria.
So I was diagnosed with gender dysphoria.
And I lived it.
I know what it's like.
So I know what these kids are going through.
And all I'm saying, and all I have ever said, is wait.
Wait until you're at least...
Because the frontal lobe is not finished developing until you're 25, but at least 18. This is lifelong consequences that you're making at such a young age.
The left will lie to you and say puberty blockers and all these surgeries and all this stuff.
It all can be reversed.
No, it cannot.
When you take puberty blockers as a man, you're...
You are chemically castrating yourself.
So, I mean, I'm not going to get into detail about what that is, but just use your imagination.
You develop rest.
You start gaining weight where a woman would gain weight.
This stuff is not reversible.
I know because I took hormones.
I still have that fatty tissue that will never go away.
They're lying.
This is not reversible.
So I think a child would need to know in their heart what they are really, really doing and the consequences it will have for the rest of their life.
A third grader, a three-year-old or a five-year-old, they don't even know what they want to eat for breakfast.
Let alone what gender they want to be for the rest of their life.
And mind you, I will say, there are two genders.
Not 85, not 95, not whatever number the left wants to tell you.
Men have penises and women have vaginas.
And that is just it.
And so, if there is a man that dresses as a female, but he has a penis, guess what?
He's still a man.
Even though he may look like a female, he is a man.
His DNA will always be male and that cannot change.
And vice versa.
So let's start living in reality.
And the reality is there's two genders.
You cannot change your gender.
You cannot change your DNA.
And that is it.
And I love the gay community.
I love the trans community.
I do what I do because of the love I have for them.
Because I want them to be set free.
I know that the life they're living is not what God has called them to do.
Not the life that God has for them.
And just like I've been set free, they can too.

We had a doctor coming, and I guess something was going to happen, and he's not here, but one of the things he was going to share with you is
When children get on this path, the medical pathway, they tend to stay on the medical pathway and more than, close to 100% of the time, they will go on and identify as the chosen gender identity into adulthood.
If they do not, and they do the watchful waiting, which is used to be...
85 to 90 percent, even more than that, accept their biological sex by the time they're out of adolescence.
And so that's what we want to encourage, is not have experimental procedures on these children, because they still are experimental.
And like I mentioned earlier, the studies only go out five years.
That's not long enough to find out the long-term effects and find out if there's regret for these children who are being put on the medical pathway at this age.
But we really shouldn't even have to argue about this.
It's just unethical.
It's just honest to be changing somebody's outer appearance because of disordered thinking.
And to tell these people that that's going to solve The anguish of gender dysphoria when for years it was therapy has been able to resolve this for most people and we need to return to that and we are calling on the governor to do what he said three years ago and protect James Younger and thousands of kids in Texas.
We need a bill.
The Republicans in Texas did not have the political will to pass a bill last session.
They're cowards.
And even though the Republican Party overwhelmingly supported, over 95% of voters supported a ban on pediatric gender modification.
And so the governor just re-elected, but not with the same margins of support that that proposal got.
He needs to do the right thing now and step up.
Thank you Attorney General Ken Paxton for finally doing the right thing and now Governor Abbott needs to follow in lockstep.

We are flying the airplane overhead to thank the Attorney General Ken Paxton for his opinion on gender modification of children.
His opinion is that it's child abuse and he's correct.
But because the opinion does not bind Texas courts where a lot of families are getting caught up with this issue with their children where one parent is trying to protect their child, we need a bill.
We need Republicans to get it done.
And they had the votes.
And they didn't do it because some people didn't want that to pass.
Possibly, possibly our governor.
I don't know.
But it needs to get done.
We need to protect children in Texas.

I dealt with gender issues for over 50 years.
I've been in the LGBT community for over 40. I lived as a woman for 20 years and I went through the gender reassignment surgery, the hormones, the whole nine years.
I've been a part of this community for over 40 years.
I love the transgender people.
They always have a very special place in my heart.
Jesus loves you, and nothing that you have ever done or ever will do will separate you from his love.
Every human being deserves to be loved, respected, have good affordable housing, adequate employment, and access to quality health care.
We are not there.
The Equality Act is very flawed and filled with garbage.
How can we bring these transgender kids into this?
The life of a transgender person is extremely hard and requires a very thick skin.
This decision should never be made lightly and our children do not have the knowledge and understanding to make these decisions.
I didn't even have it in my late 30s.
When I transitioned, I knew I needed something solid to stand on.
When feelings of doubt and regret said it, these kids need the same, but are too young to process this kind of information.
The transgender community has always done a pretty good job of policing itself.
The rate of regret used to be around one to two percent.
We are now starting to get very sloppy due to a lot of outside forces and relaxed standards of care.
Many are not even following their own standards of care.
The rate of transgender regret and the detransition is very rapidly I have seen so many people coming into detransition groups who have been on hormone blockers, having their breasts removed, have hysterectomy, and now they feel that their life is over and just want to die.
The lesbian community disbands most of them as they are not women enough.
They are estranged from their families and friends.
Most churches don't want them.
Where do they turn?
If they feel like they're over and they just want to die, the suicide rate is very high.
Many of the male to female transgender have a very similar experience.
If we're going to pass any laws for gender transition, we need to include a way out for those who regret their decisions or just want out.
We cannot just discard the ones that have come to regret their decisions.
There is now too many of us.
Many transgender people have dealt with very severe abuse including sexual and /or severe trauma and mental health issues.
Gender transitioning is not the answer.
God is.
God healed all my underlying issues and the gender issue vanished.
He can do it for others too.
The left wants to ban reparative therapy.
Reparative therapy in itself is banned and should be banned.
We need to define what is reparative therapy.
Good Christian counseling is not reparative therapy.
It is actually the best therapy available.
It is Jesus that delivers and heals.
He did it for me.
Would you welcome us just as we are so others can enjoy the same transformation and freedom that I have come to enjoy?
It's not fair that our sins are on the outside and yours are on the inside.
It is only through an encounter with the one and only true living God that we are delivered and set free.
He did it for me.
It's time for America to unify.
There's no place for the hate and the division that exists in the world today.
We need God to heal our land, and the time is now.
2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land." It's time to repent.
The kingdom of God is at hand.
Repent means ask God for His forgiveness and turn from our wicked ways.
