We have, of course, the giving of the law, the Mosaic covenant, which again was uniquely given to Israel.
It was a covenant between God and Israel.
The covenant was not made with Gentiles.
It was not made with the church, but it was made with Israel.
As the scripture said, He has revealed his words to Jacob, his laws and his decrees to Israel.
In fact, if we continue to understand this, we see that the temple service, the Levitical system, the whole Levitical system and the sacrificial system we read is all for Israel.
The fourth aspect is the promises.
Well, what promises?
Well, the promises from the prophets, the promises of Messiah, the promises of messianic salvation.
So what is it that we can learn about the scriptures?
Well, certainly the scriptures are of the Jewish people, they were produced by the Jewish people, and they were guarded by the Jewish people.
And this is true of not only the old, the Tanakh, the Old Testament, or the New Covenant fightings, the New Testament.
The scriptures were given to the Jews, they were committed to the Jewish people for safe keeping.
The Jewish people were instructed to be the guardians of the word of God.
The scriptures are about the Jewish people.
They record Israel's redemptive history.
This religion makes Jews God.
If you really look at it, my next man on the street question has got to be, so the Jews are the chosen people in the Bible that they wrote.
Do you think that's suspicious at all, that the people that wrote up a religion would call themselves Jews?

Therefore, the second thing that the church and Gentiles have received from the Jewish people is the Savior.
