	Building on Rabbi Irving Greenberg's proposition, Rabbi Sherwin posited the radical view that while Jesus may have been a failed Messiah, at least in light of classical Jewish expectations, this did not mean that he was a false one.
	Rabbi Sherwin recognized, I believe, the great conundrum of Christianity.
	On the one hand, the gospel had brought about the knowledge of the God of Israel to millions of Christians throughout history.
	See, it's a conundrum for them.
	It's nuance.
	The Christians that want to run around and go, there's nothing they hate more than Jesus.
	They fear the name of Jesus.
	No, that's not the full picture.
	It's a conundrum.
	It's a love-hate.
	And you're missing the big picture.
	Many of them had sincerely abandoned paganism and adopted a religious tradition that provided a moral framework.
	Oh, they became almost perfect Noahides and monotheists worshiping the God of Israel and accomplishing what the objectives always were of Judaism, to make the nations submit to the Messiah and believe in the God of Israel and abandon their idol worship, all according to plan.
	And the rabbis all confirm it.
	At the same time, many Christians, and indeed most historically, had adopted a supersessionist view of faith that not only dislodged Jews as part of an ongoing covenant with God, but had adopted views of Jews which formed the foundation of anti-Semitism.
	The challenge of this was severe.
	But Rabbi Sherwin proposed a reconsideration of the attitudes towards Christianity which had been adopted by Jews for most of history, in part because of changes undertaken by the Vatican.
	Another rabbi and professor at Spiritus Institute, who was committed to interference.

	He talks about how the official Orthodox Jewish group, their official signed statement on Christianity.

	Who was committed to interface dialogue was Rabbi Azur Lupitan.

	Which stated, among other things, that, as did Maimonides and Yehuda Halebe, we acknowledge that the emergence of Christianity in human history is neither an accident nor an error.
	Not an accident or an error.
	The rabbi says, in God's divine divine plan, divine knowledge created Christianity to spread the God of Israel around the world.
	But the will divine outcome and give to nations.
	In separating Judaism and Christianity, God willed a separation between partners with significant theological differences, not a separation between enemies.
	Like the cattle rancher from Texas that did the red heifers keep saying, it's one tree.
	He goes, it's one tree.
	We're the branches and they're the root, but we're one tree together.
	Understanding of Christianity was similarly embraced by Rabbi Hennan Schlesinger, a signee of the above-mentioned statement.
	Rabbi Schleshinger was once the rabbi of Congregation Shahrei Tefila, an Orthodox synagogue.
	I think that's not needed.
	It's no exaggeration and it's not even, you can't even call it an opinion.
	I think works in Maimonides.
	Maimonides, people understand who he was.
	It's no exaggeration and it's not even, you can't even call it an opinion.
	I think every traditional Jew would agree with this.
	He's the most.
	Every traditional Jew would agree he's the most respected, most authoritative rabbi Maimonides.
	And this is what he said about Christianity and Islam a thousand years ago.
	That it obviously was a step, a stage of getting the nations to get rid of their idol worship, but then worship an idolatrous version of the Jewish Messiah.
	Most influential, the most consequential Jewish theologian and legal scholar, the most important rabbi since the destruction of the Second Temple till today.
	I mean, he's the most influential rabbinic thinker.
	That doesn't mean that we follow him in everything or that we accept all his opinions.
	He's kind of the equivalent of Augustine.
	He lived in the 12th century.
	And I was reading what's my Monides.
	And Maimonides very famously was very harsh on Christianity.
	He lived, again, lived in the 12th century.
	The only Christianity that was pretty much visible to him was like medieval Catholicism.
	And he did not view it positively.
	He viewed it as a form of idolatry.
	But at the same time, in his writings, he writes explicitly that the purpose of Christianity.
	You see, he saw it as idolatrous because of the Trinity.
	It's an anathema for them to worship God as a man, according to their version of Judaism.
	But, but Christians just want to leave it there and only look at that.
	The mocking, the spitting, the cursing, that may his name be blotted out, the calling him satanic, the burning in the excrement.
	They only want to focus on that and ignore the other side of the coin that all of this evil was for an ultimate good that benefited Judaism as a whole.
	To pave the path for the ultimate coming of the Messiah and to lead the entire world to worship one God together.
	And he quotes the verse from Zephaniah chapter 3: that all the nations will come together to call on the name of the Lord and to serve him shoulder to shoulder.
	And he explains that he then goes on to explain that the way this works.
	I remember, I was sitting reading this.
	I was in Jerusalem.
	I was sitting in a study hall during the, you know, at the end of the workday, I go studying.
	I was reading this passage in my monitor, and he speaks about how at the end times, these Christians will, because they've been exposed to the Bible, because they know the Bible, they know the God of Israel, they know all the stories, they know all the content of the Bible, that will lay the groundwork for them to be with us at the end times.
	That's basically what he says.
	And really, that's what the redemption of the world is all about.
	It's everyone serving the God of Israel together.
	And so I was reading this.
	I was like, okay, wait a second.
	I've got about 800 years, eight or 900 years on Maimonides.
	Let's fast forward.
	Where am I right now?
	I'm in the land of Israel.
	I'm one of millions of Jews who have been in-gathered.
	The prophecies of Deuteronomy chapter 30 that the people of Israel, even if we're scattered to the ends of the heavens, will come back to our land and take possession of it and become more numerous and more prosperous than our ancestors.
	And those words are written in the future tense in the Bible, but today they are fact.
	They have happened.
	And here I am in the beginnings of that long-awaited redemption of Israel.
	And here are these Christians who love the God of Israel and they know every word of the Bible and they're devoted to the God of Israel.
	And Zachariah writes about how multitudes among the nations are going to stream to Jerusalem at the time of the in-gathering to worship the God of Israel, to seek the God of Israel in Jerusalem.
	I'm like, wait a second, if I'm one of the people, if I'm a Jew who's fulfilling what they always wanted, and now Christians are doing that, and you think that this was like an accident or a coincidence, it was the plan all along.
	It's following the script, the blueprint, the Torah strategy for the one world religion.
	Deuteronomy 30 by being in-gathered, there's no doubt in my mind that these Christians are fulfilling Zachariah and Zephaniah and Isaiah as members of the nations, or Psalms, which speaks of all the nations praising God for the kindnesses that have been done to the people of Israel.
	Now, I don't think my great-grandparents, who were being chased around by Nazis in Europe, could foresee a situation where multitudes among the nations were praising the God of Israel for being so good to the Jews.
	But these people are doing it.
	And during that, as one of the political events I went to, I flew to.
	There were already Christian Zionists before the Nazis, by the way.
	Oops.
	Let's see.
	Forbidden One's got a few things here.
	Exactly what Maimonides says.
	Muhammad was part of God's plan, preparing Muhammad and Jesus, part of God's plan of preparing the world for the coming of the Jewish Messiah.

	In a censuring passage in his writing, it was taken out by Christian censors in the Middle Ages that he saw both Christianity and Islam as being very worthwhile steps to wean the ancient world away from paganism and to give them worthwhile steps to wean the pagan world away from paganism you had no morality without us goi that's

	Without Christianity, these messianic prophecies could not have, without Christianity, these messianic prophecies could not have, could never have taken place.
	And therefore, Christian Islam was vital to setting up the world, preparing the world for Mashiach, so they will recognize it.
	Because if they never were exposed to the concept, Mashiach would come and they'd go, what's that?
	Like, we don't, okay, that's what Maimonides is saying.

	He shows the scriptural inspiration that he had for why he was chosen in the womb to go to the Gentiles, to convert and proselytize to the Greco-Roman world and all of the Gentiles to abandon their gods, their devil gods that they worship and worship the God of Israel through the Messiah.
	Paul thought he was on a divine, a prophetic divine mission, chosen to be the apostle to the Gentiles and get them to become Noahides and worship the God of Israel.

	Basically, Saint Peter go to walk with Paulos 300.
	And the story we get in Acts, which is not historical and definitely harmonized and doctored, many scholars don't take it at face value.

	And that's when they incorporated all these Gentile things to keep the Jews separated, to deter the Jews from following it, and targeting and marketed it towards the Gentiles, which it obviously was.
	He went to work with Paulos in Rome for the nation.
	So they realized that really Christianity is something that's meant to be for the nation.
	Christianity was meant to be for the nations, for the Goyam.
	Jesus says, go to all the nations.
	Go baptize all the nations.
	And then how they have the centurion that pierced Jesus with the spear.
	He's the first most faithful believer.
	Not for the Jews.
	Why you left this?
	Peter, Shimon.
	Peter.
	The very earliest stages that they had of this, that they developed this Jesus figure, the cosmic son of man, suffering Messiah figure, the angel essentially that did these things in heaven.
	They didn't realize who was going to believe in him and how it would be an atonement and everything quite yet.
	It developed like it didn't even require a conspiracy, but just their sincere beliefs is just manifesting and progressing the Jew, the Torah Messiah prophecy conspiracy.

	So of course he didn't ate not kosher food, but you have this vision for this principle of Christianity, it's only for the non-Jewish.
	It's not anymore for the Jews.
	You know, as they're developing these doctrines based on scripture and their visions or whatever, it would make sense that they would have some disagreements on, well, should these new Gentile Christians circumcise?
	Do they need to keep the laws also?
	Like, it makes perfect sense that they would have tried to flesh this out as it was developing on how this new religion for the Goyem would be.
	From the beginning, it was meant to be for the nation, but you have to pass through Judaism.
	All right, so the Jews will not say, well, if he was, if we knew, we will accept him.
	This is the way the thing has to go.
	God sent the prophet to the Jewish.
	The Jews don't receive him.
	Then, listen, all the Goyim.

	Isaiah 53 says that there was nothing that they appealed to him about them.

	Very easily, you can see how they constructed that this was for the Gentiles and not for the Jews.
	So the mission of the Jewish people was actually to keep the Torah and the mission of the Christian Christians.
	They have to follow only seven commandments.
	Always the one like this.
	They stay like this.
	They are not ordered to follow more of the seven commandments.
	It's why Paulos make this adjustment because Jesus talked to the Jews and they have to follow all the Torah.
	But Paulos talked to the non-Jewish.
	So they have to follow only the seven commandments.
	So Peter goes to the circumcised and they have to keep the Torah.
	But Paul goes to the uncircumcised, the Goyem, and has to only keep the seven Noahide laws.

	They replaced the Sabbath with Sunday, abolished circumcision, and other practical mitzvahs, and kept only moral mitzvah, which means the seven Noahide laws.
	See, they created a seven the Jews even know Christianity was started by Jews in a conspiratorial double-agent way to get the Christians to follow the Noahide laws and create this inversion of Judaism that consumes blood, doesn't follow the commandments, doesn't circumcise, doesn't eat kosher, that celebrates not on the Sabbath, but on Sunday.

	At the time, you would think that absolutely everyone should, but they weren't.
	The sages of Israel feared that the Jews would learn from them.

	But here's the proto-James from Bart Ehrman's Forged talks about how they believe all of the Gentiles have a minister in heaven that represents them.
	And if we stop giving sacrifices and believing in those gods, that we lose the divine protection.
	And they replaced all of those gods with Satan as Jesus in paradise.
	And this is a sit- that's the Kabbalah's belief.
	This is the proto-James similar story.
	And notice how it's like fulfillment of Psalms also.
	More fulfillment of prophecy, the same thing that they're doing in the Gospels and the earliest layers of Christianity.
	The Gospel of Pseudo-Matthew.
	The same can be said of the stories found in the Gospel of Pseudo-Matthew.
	It is called this because it was thought in the Middle Ages to have been written by Matthew himself.
	Originally, however, the book was a heavily reworked version of the proto-gospel.
	It too claimed to have been written by Jesus' half-brother James.
	Among the more interesting accounts of this narrative are the miracles Jesus performs when the holy family flees to Egypt after his birth.
	We learn, for example, that en route, they stop to rest outside a cave.
	To the terror of Joseph and Mary, out of the cave, come a troop of dragons.
	The two-year-old Jesus, however, is not the least bit afraid.
	He waddles and stands before the fearsome beasts.
	When they see who he is, they bow down and worship before him.
	The author tells us that this fulfilled the predictions of scripture.
	So the beasts come out of the cave when they're going to Egypt, and all of these beasts bow down and worship Jesus.
	Fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet in the Psalms, who said, Praise the Lord from the earth, O dragons, and all the places of the abyss.
	A reference to the Greek version of Psalm 148, chapter 7.
	Later on their journey, the family stops to rest under a palm tree, and Jesus' mother, Mary, looks wistfully at the fruit in the high upper branches, wishing there were a way to get some to eat.
	By the way, that verse, Psalms 148, 7.
	Notice how, again, this is just what all of scripture was: taking a prophecy and then writing a story, fulfilling it with the Messiah.
	Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures, and all ocean deaths.
	I wonder if that they associated that with the Leviathan as well, the sea creature.
	Joseph abrades her, since there's obviously no way to climb the tree.
	But the young Jesus intervenes and orders the tree to bend down to give its precious fruit to his mother.
	And it does so.
	Mary eats to her heart's content.
	And Jesus blesses the tree for its obedience, telling it that as a reward, one of its branches will be carried to heaven and planted in paradise.
	Straight away, an angel descends and removes a branch to take it to its new heavenly home.
	Once the family arrives in Egypt, they have no place to stay, and so they go for shelter into a pagan the branch comes off the tree and goes to the heavenly home.
	Is that the Jews as the branches that got cut off?
	Temple.
	Inside this temple are 365 idols representing the gods, and so they go for shelter into a pagan temple.
	Okay, so they go into a Jesus goes into a pagan temple.
	Inside this temple are 365 idols representing the gods who are to be worshiped all the days of the year.
	But when Jesus enters, the idols all fall over on their faces in obedience to the true divinity in their midst.
	Once the local ruler learns what has happened.
	See, this is all about Jesus conquering all of the pagan gods.
	That's the whole purpose of this Messiah.
	He comes himself and worships the child, telling all his friends and his entire army that now the Lord of all the gods has come into their midst.
	James, the brother of Jesus, leader of the Jerusalem Ebonite church.
