ABC News, Auschwitz Memorial Slams Amazon series about Nazi hunters for its quote dangerous foolishness.
The group says a fictionalized scene from Auschwitz, quote welcomes future deniers.
Auschwitz Memorial knocks Amazon for Prime series and for book sales, so they're uh they may get some books.
They're basically like, oh, you know, even this movie or this shot that is just like torture porn, basically, revenge porn, fantasizing about violence and really riling up people into a frenzy to attack uh extra judicious judiciously attack so-called Nazis out on the streets and in the world,
like basically trying to inspire vigilante groups to go take the law under their own hands and and have it be a mitzvah to go out and kill you know whoever they want to label Nazi, they can punch and kill, and there's uh such an agenda with and the anti-anti-Semitism agenda and all of the anti-European, anti-Christian West European Esau, who they believe is Esau.
But they may get some books banned out of this, some more books.
They've already Amazon has already banned a lot of books on the one forbidden fruit, the one taboo topic, the sacrilegious above the law issue.
The New York Times says Amazon in Holocaust row about Hunters series and anti-Semitic books.
Even even the that's just so I guess they're mad that the propaganda is just too overt and too too fictitious, is their problem.
So they're trying to get some books taken down along with it.

So they're creating fictional scenes to try to uh hit people emotionally so they have a reaction, go out and just viciously attack anybody who is a critic of Jews, basically.
All you have to do is be a mild critic of Jewish power, Zionism, Israel, or anything like that, and you will quickly get named an anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist, a Nazi, a white supremacist, any of that stuff.

Oscar winner Al Pacino plays a Holocaust survivor who leads a faction of vigilante Nazis.
diverse, they try to, like in the CBS Punch a Nazi video, it's like they try to put a Gentile face on things.
So it even al Pacino playing this, you know, the Yiddish accent in this Jewish Holocaust survivor, Al Pacino.
They couldn't even get a Jewish person.
He does have a Jewish girlfriend, though, like many of the people affiliated with these movies.

Nazi hunters in America in the 1970s.
One scene in particular is drawing sharp criticism It depicts Nazi guarded Auschwitz using prisoners as human chess pieces.
So they don't show the that clip.
I watched episode one.
It's a whole long series.
I don't think I could watch anymore.

But there's a scene where the guard at a concentration camp is like making the the inmates there, the prisoners play uh chess, and then like if they get out, he shoots them basically, and they're like, That never happened.
You know, this is gonna be another lampshades and soap issue where people push the story too far, kind of like uh what is it, Eli Weasel.
The Auschwitz Memorial writes inventing a fake game of human chess is not only dangerous foolishness and caricature, it also welcomes future deniers.
We honor the victims by preserving factual accuracy.
The series was created created, oh young guy.
Come on, play.
His grandmother is a Holocaust survivor that attracted Pacino to the role as he told Willie Geist in an interview before this controversy surfaced.
It's always uh something when when it's personal, because that's really it's personal.

So the creator of Hunters admits that he made up events to address our urgent present.
He's trying to rile up people in a violent frenzy to attack anyone who criticizes Jewish behaviors.

In speaking to the chess mask scene, this was a fictionalized event.
Why did I feel this scene was important to script and place in the series?
To most powerfully counteract the revisionist narrative that whitewashes Nazi perpetration by showcasing the most extreme and representationally truthful sadism and violence that Nazis perpetrated.
Why did I feel the need to create a fictional event when there were so many real horrors?
After all, it is true that Nazis perpetrated widespread and extreme acts of uh sadism and torture.
You know, why don't they talk about like where are all the movies about uh communism and all the people, their gulags and their mass murders and their you know, mass millions of dead.
Where are all those videos?
Where is all the propaganda to uh go out and punch a communist?

I believe can and should hunters like a myriad of acclaimed films on the subject, mere yeah, there's a lot of acclaimed, a lot of films that get awards on the subject of the Holocaust, does not always adhere to literal truth in its pursuit of capturing the representational truth of Holocaust.
Um, the point of the view that symbolic representations provide individuals access to an emotional and symbolic reality.
So he wants an emotional response with his fictitious lies that he puts out, allows us to better understand the experiences of the Shoah, and the most important part, provide it with meaning that can address our urgent present.
This types of things in the other movies that I show and their backgrounds in the other video, my last video.
It's this is for propaganda purposes for modern day, they're the social engineers, they're the ones that are that are forming opinions and creating attitudes and and influencing the population through entertainment through the constant barrage of their messaging and their programming and their brainwashing indoctration to better uh where is it addressing our urgent present.
