The thing that makes Judaism dangerous to everybody.
To every race, to every nation, to every idea, is that we smash things that aren't true.
We don't believe in the boundaries of nation-state.
We don't believe in the ideas of these individual gods that that you know that protect individual groups of people.
These are all artificial constructions, and Judaism really teaches us how to see that.
In a sense, our detractors have us right in that we are a corrosive force.
We're breaking down the false gods of all nations and all people because they're not real.
And that's very upsetting to people.
What's right now at the top of the agenda for you from within the JCPA.
There are two issues at the top of our agenda at the very moment.
One is the unbelievably important immigration debate in this country.
To make sure that immigrants from around the world, particularly those from south of our border, have a chance here.
The 12 million that are 13 million that just live here and do work and aren't really going home.
That they have a chance to stay here justly and with as as legal immigrants.
And that debate is so important because we know what it's like to come to another country, even one called the United States of America.
We're it we weren't always so welcome.
But because we were welcomed enough, we were able to create this amazing Jewish civilization and be a part of the American civilization.
So we have an entire program called Immigration Nation, and we're trying to make sure that the Jewish community steps up to the plate and the broader inner faith community.
There are people in Sweden who support Israel and have a deep sense of the injustice of the present situation.
It's these people who give hope to those who still believe that things will get better here.
One of them is Barbara Specter, a former American who made Aliyah, and then 10 years ago, with the help of the government of Sweden, set up a non-denominational institute of Jewish learning with the Greek name of Paidea here in Stockholm.
She believes the current wave of anti-Semitism in Sweden will pass, and that Jews have an important role to play in a country undergoing profound change.
I think there's a resurgence of anti-Semitism because at this point in time, Europe has not yet learned how to be multicultural.
And I think we're going to be part of the throes of that of that transformation, which must take place.
Europe is not going to be the monolithic uh uh societies that they once were in the last century.
Jews are gonna be at the center of that.
It's a huge transformation for Europe to make.
They are now going into a multicultural mode, and Jews will be resented because of our leading role.
But without that leading role and without that transformation, Europe will not survive.
Waiting to help them are the last people the Syrians might expect.
Volunteers from Israel.
My name is Tali Shaltier.
I'm here with Israel, an Israeli-based NGR.
My name is Majida Kardash.
I'm here as a medical team.
I work as a nurse.
The team is a mix of doctors and nurses.
Our job here is to receive the boats of the refugees that are coming from the Turkish side to the Greek side.
There are many, many volunteers on the beach, not many medical teams.
So our job is first of all to help them get out from the boat, get to the beach safely.
Most of them come here uh dehydrated and in hypothermia.
Sometimes the journey takes many hours, and they get here very wet and cold.
They're going through a lot of problems.
They're smugglers, they are asking them to pay between a thousand to five thousand dollars per person.
A lot of time they're just shoving them into boats that should fit 50 people, but there are 150 people on the boat.
They just leave them midway through the sea and they tell them you find your own way to Greece.
We're not responsible, aren't you?
Or they feel like half a tank of gas and they just leave them in the middle of the seas.
All we do and go to hind point with binoculars, searching and scanning the water, And you start looking for this black with orange dots in the view.
And then it comes nearer and you start seeing the rubber board and all the people on it.
It's like one, two, three, it begins.
It's a few minutes of chaos.
Taking off the babies, people screaming, shouting, helping them, you know, a lot of them don't know how to swim, they're afraid from the water.
And wrap around.
Here's the point that we start doing a triyaj very fast, you know, by hearing, they're talking, looking at the refugees, so we can see who is in need of medical help, and I start shouting, mean bad who need a doctor in Arabic.
I was thinking about that 60 years ago it was the Jewish people in Europe during the Holocaust, after the Holocaust, making their journey to Israel or for different countries and seeking for a safe home.
We're always saying never again.
When you see something difficult, for me it's looking at my part, what's my responsibility.
I'm not going to be able to do it.
It's the end of days.
You're gonna need the iron of Sav, which represents Edom, which is the West, uh Europe and the Americas to get intermixed with Ishman, which is basically Arabs and uh and Muslims.
How in the world was this ever gonna happen if not for this refugee crisis?
At the end of days, you're gonna have this intermixing between Sav, Edom, which is the West, and the East, which is the Muslims and uh and the Arabs, making this through this influx into the world.
And they're gonna have children, you know, I don't want to say by the dozens, but they're gonna have a far larger birth rate than the indigenous people there, and they're going to sort of conquer by number.
And there are many different sources for this.
Um, one of them in uh in the Hazel, chapter 14, and many other sources as far as this is concerned, where it's mentioned very very um vividly what will happen to the Jews and what will happen to your shalim and what will happen to the world at that time where there will be many many people killed and so on and so forth.
So the idea of having these refugees come into Europe, it's no longer a matter of whether it's right or wrong, it's just simply fulfillment of what it was meant to be all along.
This is the fulfillment of Nabi Rahazar and the prophecies.
This has to happen, and this is just another sign that we are nearing, you know, the completion of this tequen of the entire world.
L'Europe, the Christian thing tomb.
So I ask you: Is this a good news that Islam will invade Europe?
It is a great news, that is a good news.
Excellent news.
You will pay very much for the Europeans, but at one point you will not know about what we are talking about.
And you will not be able to fight.
Because all the evil you have made to Israel will pay you to 100% When Italy will disappear, when Edom, that's why the QG of the Christian who came from Esav, is there.
When this place will disappear, and that's what will do Islam, L'islam c'est le ballet d'Israel, sachez.
And we are saying, yes, we will love our neighbor.
Last week, Hayas organized a letter signed by over 1200 rabbis.
Can you imagine getting 1200 rabbis to agree on one thing?
But agree they did.
And what they agreed was to ask our elected officials not to halt or even to limit the United States Refugee Admissions Program.
Thank you.
And it's not just Hayes.
Jewish organizations of all kinds across the spectrum of Judaism are issuing statements in support of refugees.
These have included the Orthodox Union, the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, and so many of the Jewish organizations that you've heard are co-sponsors of this event this evening.
Whiteness is a form of racial oppression.
Sure.
The suggestion is that it is somehow possible to separate whiteness from oppression.
And it is not.
There can be no white race without the phenomenon of white supremacy.
If you abolish slavery, you abolish slaveholders.
In the same way, if you abolish racial oppression, you do away with whiteness.
Treason to whiteness is loyalty to humanity.
Your views are fairly well received in academia.
Yes, they're legitimate, not to say that everyone agrees, but sure.
I could not point to any examples where it has provoked political censorship.
A whiteness is an identity that arises entirely out of oppression.
Whiteness is not a culture, it's not a religion, it's not a language, it's simply an oppressive social category.
Um people often wonder what what's the primary reason why we have this increase in hate groups or shifting demographics are the primary driver of the increase in hate group and hate group activity.
In 1970, around the founding of the Southern Poverty Law Center, the nation, these are nationwide statistics look like this, about 83% white, 17% people of color.
And that is really like how the US likes its jurors we look at there.
Today it's not like that at all.
And it's really been a dramatic increase in you know just a few decades.
Which I am originally from California and we started um experiencing these demographic shifts decade, decade and a half ago.
And it was hard there too, on the the most diverse place, you know, in the country.
It was it was hard there too, it was ugly, and it will continue to be hard and ugly as we navigate this as a as a nation.
So 66% white, 34% people of color begins to look like signs in different languages, hearing different languages, going back to your old neighborhood, and things looking different, and you feeling like, oh god, what happened?
And then add on to that that it's now part of the popular discourse that whites will no longer be in a numerical majority by 2050 or 2040.
Have you heard that?
See, everybody knows that, including the white supremacists.
So they mistakenly believe that they can push back against that, and not just that.
People thought this, you know, in the 80s when people were talking about um immigration and we weren't able to come up with a comprehensive humane, comprehensive immigration reform bill.
And it's because people thought that they saw the shifting demographics happening, thinking that if you camp down on or limit entirely immigration, that you can change the demographics and you you can't.
