Donald Trump’s 2025 tenure delivers bold moves: a Gaza-Israel peace deal (boosting regional stability and countering Iran), a Venezuela "police action" to arrest Maduro, and border crackdowns ignored by media. Yet flaws like doubling Chinese student visas (espionage risks) or selling AI chips to China raise concerns. DEI cuts are praised as anti-racism, while drug price talks and Epstein files spark backlash. Tariffs and Cold War prep with China are defended, but marijuana legalization dismissed. Despite mixed takes, Trump’s legacy leans toward strength—even if some missteps linger. [Automatically generated summary]
I'm going to be shown a series of things that Trump either said or did in 2025, this being the new year, and decide whether I think that they are good or bad.
In Trump's mind, he never does anything that's not great.
And I'm actually a big supporter of what Trump's doing.
I think he's doing an excellent, excellent job.
But sometimes, you know, big guy, big flaws, big guy, big merits.
I'd like to lose a few pounds too, by the way.
Not everything is perfect.
So let's find out.
If I can find anything that's not perfect, then hopefully he won't drone my house.
All right.
Trump negotiated a peace deal between Israel and Gaza.
One of his great accomplishments.
Israel, you know, this is one of the things.
People are always, these days we have these people who are attacking Israel.
Everything Israel does is wrong.
I would like one person to explain to me how Israel destroying the terrorist arms of Iran, a country that is committed to death to America, was a bad thing for America.
I would like somebody to explain that to me.
And also why our bombing Iran's nuclear facilities was a thing that was going to backfire in some way.
I think this is great on that score, that it made the world a safer place and a safer place for America.
But it was also great because Trump and his people have found a way to bring Israel possibly into the world of the Middle East, which is what we want.
We want them to be able to get along with their neighbors.
We don't have to transform their Muslim neighbors into free, wonderful Christian countries.
You sure about that?
We don't have to do that.
We just have to let them get along.
Let them get along like other countries get along.
And this incredible dedication to destroying the state of Israel has to end.
And instead of that being the law of, you know, Saudi Arabia and Iran, we can just leave it to Tucker Carlson.
So I think this is a great thing.
By ignoring or setting aside the two-state solution, I think Trump has actually invented through the Abraham Accords a path to true peace in the Middle East.
Let's hope it works out.
Trump invaded Venezuela and arrested Nicolas Maduro.
I don't believe that was an invasion.
I think that was a police action.
But yeah, good.
And I'm also glad he didn't replace the government.
I don't want to force them to have elections or change their world.
I just want them to stop being a threat to America.
So yes, I think that was excellent.
Trump said Republicans should get rid of the filibuster.
A tough one, because obviously they'll use this against us and against us when they take power.
What I would say about that is it all depends on the question, will the Democrats get rid of the filibuster when they take power?
And I have come to the conclusion that yes, they will.
And so Trump is right about this.
I don't like it.
I think the filibuster is basically a good thing, keeps the Congress from doing too much stuff.
But since they're not doing anything, they're not accomplishing anything.
And since the Democrats will almost surely get rid of it, I think Trump is right about this.
Trump moved to double the number of visas for Chinese students in American schools.
No, I don't think that's a good idea.
In fact, I'm not even sure I heard that.
I didn't realize he had done that.
It's not Chinese people.
I think the Chinese who are sent over here but are actually living in China, China, their families are still under the sway of China, and they use them to pressure them to spy on Americans and send secrets over and do other things.
And I think that that's just a bad thing.
And I think we need to be more careful about this.
Trump closed the southern border.
Obviously, one of his greatest accomplishments.
And amazing to me, amazing that it just vanishes from the worldview of the media.
Like he closes the southern border after we are invaded by 20 million illegals.
We just forget that he did it.
That was an amazing thing.
I said to one friend of mine who's a Trump hater, you know, I said, what about this?
And he said, oh, anybody would have done that.
What?
Nobody else has, but he did, and he did it in 10 minutes.
Trump's Controversial Accomplishments00:06:25
It was like easy.
It was obviously could be done at any time.
Great accomplishment.
Trump accepted a new Air Force One from Qatar.
I wouldn't have done that.
I mean, you know, I mean, what's the point?
What do you get out of it?
We can make our own planes.
And Qatar, very dubious country.
You know, it's actually not a country.
It's more like a family.
People take so much money from them and then are sort of indebted to them.
I think he shouldn't have done it.
You know, if something happened to me, there would be real consequences in my house.
It'd be cleaner, not so messy.
It wouldn't be as noisy.
But also, there'd be a lot of difficulties.
Mortgage payments, everyday bills wouldn't just disappear, but a lot of money would.

Trump lowered prescription drug prices.
This is a weird thing.
Our drug prices are high because we pay for all the research and development these drug companies do because other countries have quote unquote free healthcare.
So when a drug company goes to Britain, they only have one person to negotiate with.
There's no competition.
So what they do, they have to take it and then they get the extra money they need from us.
We're paying for Britain's healthcare.
Britain thinks its healthcare is free.
It's just we're paying for it.
And it's still not free and it's still not any good.
They still don't get all the drugs that we get.
And so what Trump negotiated was favored nation status.
So we get the prices that other countries get.
So obviously, this has to be dealt with.
The perfect way to deal with it is getting rid of what single-payer healthcare in other countries and making it competitive everywhere.
But that's not going to happen.
So, you know, I have to shrug this off.
I don't want the government fixing prices.
It doesn't work out.
I want all the great drugs that we get from our companies that have enough research and development money to make them.
But for now, I guess it was a sort of necessary thing.
I'm not that happy about it.
Trump released the Epstein files.
Biggest political faux pas.
Gee, that's too bad.
It was not that I think the Epstein files are going to tell us anything.
It's not that I think that anybody who should be punished will be punished.
It's that I think that people on the right built up the idea that we could get at these people.
I think he should have just released them and he dismissed it in a very offhanded way on a weekend, on a holiday.
And it was just telling a lot of his people that he didn't care about what they cared about.
And he opened the door to the Democrats, who, of course, are as guilty as anybody with Epstein and never released anything themselves.
And I don't know why they're attacking Trump and why anybody would believe it.
Trump ended DEI.
He hasn't ended it, but he has at least made it a lot more difficult for people to do it.
DEI is racism.
It's disgusting.
It is harmful.
It's harmful to blacks.
It's harmful to whites.
It's harmful to excellence.
It's harmful to the meritocracy.
It is absolutely un-American filth.
And I think that anything he did to slow it is a great thing.
He's allowing the most advanced AI chips to be sold to China.
I'm against it.
I think it's wrong.
I don't understand why he did it.
China.
Maybe somebody could explain it to me so I would get it, but I don't.
That seems wrong.
Trump implemented worldwide tariffs.
I think what Trump did was he used the tariffs as a big stick to transform the trading systems internationally so that trading systems are more fair and so that we can deal with China, which is what everything he does is about.
Everything he does is about strengthening America to take on the coming Cold War with China.
That's why I don't understand the AI chips.
Trump ordered federal agencies to ease marijuana restrictions.
Terrible idea.
Don't know why he did it.
I don't think he has the right to do it.
I think it's against the law for him to do it.
I think it'll be overturned.
We should not ease marijuana restrictions.
I think it's awful for you, and I think people should stop using it.
Out of pocket for that s ⁇ .
Way out of pocket.
What do you gain from that?
You don't have to put people in jail for smoking a reefer, but I think it should be hard to get.
Trump reasserted the differences between the two genders.
It's just common sense.
Come on.
You know, what gets me about this is the differences between the two genders cause all kinds of problems and cause all the problems of life in some ways, besides, you know, natural disasters and diseases.
You sure about that?
All the problems of life have to do with the differences between the two genders.
It's also the source of every joy on earth.
The differences between the two genders is the source of all our joy, and not to mention life itself.
And I think that the idea that the left could make this problematical, so people are scratching their heads, thinking, what is a woman?
Yeah, I mean, I'm really uncomfortable with that language.
Some guy, you know, with forgive my French, but with a swinging dick, can go into a girl's locker room pretending he's a girl.
Absolutely disgusting and ridiculous.
So yes, just common sense.
Thank you very much.
Mostly good.
The stuff he's done has been great.
The bad stuff he's done has been a little mysterious to me, some of it.
I don't know what, you know, they keep saying, they always give him the worst possible motives.
But the things that he's done that are bad, I don't think are catastrophic, where I think the things that he's done that are good are absolutely terrific.
If you want to be as great as Donald Trump, like and subscribe.
