Andrew Klavan's New Book: The Truth and Beauty

Andrew Klavan’s The Truth and Beauty traces his spiritual awakening through England’s greatest poets, framing their works as mirrors of Christ’s teachings amid modern chaos. Without demanding poetic expertise, he links figures like Milton and Donne to Jesus’ wisdom, revealing how their struggles and artistry illuminate divine truth. The book’s core: poetry doesn’t just reflect faith—it deepens it, offering a path to see the world through Christ’s eyes, just as it transformed Klavan’s own journey. Time Text
I'm excited to tell you that today is the publication day of my new book, The Truth and Beauty, How the Lives and Works of England's Greatest Poets Point the Way to a Deeper Understanding of the Words of Jesus.
You don't have to love poetry or even know about poetry to read this book.
It really is the story of my personal attempt to get to know Jesus better, to get to know what he saw, to see what he saw in the world, and also to know what he wants from my life.
The lives of these poets, the thoughts of these poets who lived in a time very much like ours illuminate the words of Christ, and Christ's words illuminate the beauty of the world.
This is a book that made my life better.
I hope it will do the same for you.
The Truth and Beauty, how the lives and works of England's greatest poets point the way to a deeper understanding of the words of Jesus.
