[00:09:03]  The ones that get very sick and go to the hospital are the ones that don't take the vaccine.

[00:09:15]  And if you do get it, it's a very minor form.

[00:09:20]  Recently, Candace Owens attempted to confront you politely face-to-face with the fact that these so-called vaccines are causing a lot of death and illnesses.
[00:09:30]  And you doubled down, saying that nobody has been hurt by these shots when that is just a flat-out lie.

[00:09:46]  In order to believe that the vaccines are more dangerous than being unvaccinated, you would have to be dumber or more evil than Donald J. Trump.

[00:10:48]  He's not thrilled with it to the point where on Christmas, he's got to release this message where he's clearly pre-recorded this.

[00:11:09]  Alex is just saying, whatever Trump's saying here, the opposite is actually the opposite.
[00:11:13]  And then you tripled down on top of that and said that 90% of people in the hospitals around the world have not had the vaccine.
[00:11:23]  When the facts and the statistics show the opposite, in Germany, in the UK, in the US, in Canada, across the world, in places like Israel, the double and triple vaxxed...
[00:11:35]  are more than two times likely to become sick and to be hospitalized and or die.
[00:11:41]  In fact, a new study came out just this week.
[00:11:45]  Here it is for you to research it, President Trump.
[00:11:47]  So we've spent so much time going over specific claims when they've popped up on Alex's show in the past, so I'm not even going to get back into the weeds on the claims about vaccinated people being twice as likely to be hospitalized.
[00:11:58]  It's just an old false talking point, but I was curious about this new study, so I thought I'd check in on this.
[00:12:04]  I generally end up listening to stuff, and when something becomes necessary for me to check visually, I'll go and watch the video.
[00:12:10]  Sure.
[00:12:11]  And so when Alex says that there's a new study out for Trump to research...
[00:12:15]  The image that's on the screen is just a screenshot of a tweet that Ezra Levant posted about a non-peer-reviewed study.

[00:12:29]  These fucking dicks think they're blowing everyone's minds and making an appeal to the former president to help them save the world.
[00:12:34]  They can't even be bothered to track down the actual study to get a screenshot of that.
[00:12:38]  So they just show a tweet.

[00:12:46]  We'll get to the study in a moment, but I wanted to say something about the experience of going through Ezra's Twitter feed to try and find the link to the study.
[00:12:53]  It was actually kind of shocking.
[00:12:55]  Just scrolling through it heightened my anxiety.
[00:12:58]  It's just a barrage of memes and sensational posts making arguments that I know are flawed and dumb, but the sheer volume of them and the quickness that they come at you and the confidence with these people with shit positions, they just proffer them up.
[00:13:11]  It still had an effect on me.
[00:13:13]  It was horrifying to consider what the experience would be like for someone who didn't know that these people are all liars and con men.
[00:13:19]  This would be so scary to take in.
[00:13:21]  And how long it would take you to...
[00:13:24]  Yeah.
[00:13:27]  It's visceral.
[00:13:31]  Yeah, I mean, we're in a situation now where I think we're fundamentally asking the eternal question, who gaslights the gaslighters?
[00:13:41]  And it turns out it's Trump.
[00:13:43]  It's Trump who does it.
[00:13:44]  It's Rorschach.
[00:13:45]  While he's also being gaslit.

[00:13:48]  So this study, like I said, hasn't been peer-reviewed, and it almost certainly will either have to be redone or retracted as soon as any review begins.
[00:13:55]  To quote Ezra's analysis of the study, it shows that, quote, This is in regards to vaccine effectiveness against the Omicron variant.
[00:14:13]  The reason that I say that this study will probably never make it past peer review is that there's a glaring methodological problem with how they prepare the data for the study.
[00:14:21]  There were three groups of people that they looked at.
[00:14:23]  Unvaccinated people, people who had gotten two doses of Moderna, and people who had gotten two doses of Pfizer.
[00:14:29]  It very well may be the fact that there is a reduced efficacy over time for these vaccines against the Omicron variant, but quite likely the reason there's a negative efficacy reflected in these numbers is that the study excluded people who had previously tested positive with the PCR test, which creates some problems for the data.
[00:14:47]  One issue is that people who tested positive previously are probably going to be a group that skews heavily towards being unvaccinated, and it's been shown that the Omicron variant can absolutely reinfect people who've previously caught COVID.
[00:14:59]  Removing this group from the data set may have an effect on the results, or at very least would be a cause for concern to trust the specifics of the numbers as being reflective of reality.
[00:15:09]  Absolutely.
[00:15:09]  Even leaving that concern aside, the authors of the study have provided a very reasonable explanation for the numbers that make sense.
[00:15:16]  Quote, The negative estimates in the final period arguably suggest different behavior and or exposure patterns in the vaccinated and unvaccinated cohorts, causing an underestimation of the vaccine effectiveness.
[00:15:28]  This was likely the result of Omicron spreading rapidly initially through single super-spreading events causing many infections among young vaccinated individuals.
[00:15:38]  Right.
[00:15:38]  This would make intuitive sense.
[00:15:40]  Super-spreading events could have occurred in places where vaccination was required to enter, and this is an issue that's particularly relevant to this study.
[00:15:47]  The subject of this study were all people in Denmark, which is actually pretty relevant.
[00:15:53]  In September, Denmark lifted all of its COVID restrictions and went back to business as usual.
[00:15:58]  It was believed that there was a high enough vaccination rate, so there was no longer any reason to be required to show proof of vaccination at bars and clubs or anywhere.
[00:16:06]  This was prior to the first identification of the Omicron variant by researchers in South Africa on November 24th.
[00:16:13]  In mid-November, it was starting to become an issue in Denmark that cases were starting to go up again, and on November 29th, the Danish health authorities reimposed public health measures, including requiring masks and not allowing people to enter many places without a corona pass.
[00:16:29]  If you look at this study, you'll see that this is the precise time frame when their data was being collected.
[00:16:35]  The first check-ins were on November 20th, and it ended at the earliest on December 12th, unless there was a positive test or a death that would lead.
[00:16:43]  Sure.
[00:16:45]  Here's where the context gets very important.
[00:16:47]  If you go to the Danish government site about the Corona pass, these are the groups who are eligible to get that pass.
[00:16:54]  Quote, you can get a Corona pass if you have been previously infected within the last six months, have been vaccinated or tested negative with a PCR test that is no more than 72 hours old and for rapid tests that is no more than 48 hours old.
[00:17:10]  People who are unvaccinated but who have tested positive in the past within the last six months are eligible for the pass that would allow them to be in places with potentially high concentrations of people around when Omicron was going wild and super spreading events were most likely occurring.
[00:17:42]  right.
[00:17:43]  Really something you could use this non-peer-reviewed study to back up.
[00:17:47]  Right, right, right.
[00:17:48]  So what we're kind of describing is a situation where so many people are vaccinated that the available pool of subjects is such that it's more likely to find that vaccinated people are being reinfected simply because there's so many more of them.
[00:18:06]  Is that kind of what we're talking about here?
[00:18:08]  I don't believe so, because I think the rates would probably take care of that somewhat.
[00:18:12]  There would be a balancing of that.
[00:18:14]  I think that it's more a faulty application of the cohorts in the data.
[00:18:23]  Not including people who have tested positive in the past.
[00:18:29]  Reflects...
[00:18:30]  Something that would skew things away from unvaccinated people having a higher infection rate.
[00:18:36]  Right, right, right.
[00:18:37]  I believe that there is an argument you could make on that front.
[00:18:40]  And whether or not it's fully true or not, I do think it's enough of an issue with how this was set up that you probably would want to redo it.
[00:18:51]  It skews the data to the point where the conclusions you could draw from it are too tainted by that data being skewed.
[00:18:58]  Maybe.
[00:18:59]  Yeah, maybe.

[00:19:01]  Which is the point?
[00:19:02]  It's maybe.
[00:19:03]  It's cause for concern.
[00:19:04]  Exactly.
[00:19:05]  And you need to know more before you could really...

[00:19:10]  We're not dealing with maybes.
[00:19:11]  We're dealing with trying to get as certain as possible.

[00:19:13]  And also, you have to consider this.
[00:19:15]  For all but nine days of the time that the study was taking place, unvaccinated people couldn't go on public transit or enter bars or restaurants, whereas vaccinated people could, as well as people who were not vaccinated but who had tested positive in the past.
[00:19:29]  Right.
[00:19:29]  These factors make the raw data that you may see, let's say, like in a tweet posted by a notorious Canadian propagandist, it's less than the full picture.
[00:19:37]  It'll be interesting to see exactly how much of a lowered effectiveness there is over time with Omicron, but this study alone isn't going to prove anything.
[00:19:44]  I don't think Trump's going to research this.
[00:19:46]  No, I definitely don't think that.

[00:19:54]  One of the nice things about science and the peer review process is that when you have a lot of people all coming to the same results, they're far more reliable than if you just have one study out of Denmark!

[00:20:13]  Because the conclusion of the study, even with these raw numbers that would possibly be able to be taken out of context to show a...

[00:20:32]  Wow, that makes me think that any study now should have highlighted sections where the authors are like, hey, this data could be taken out of context and used for evil purposes.

[00:20:51]  So that when they do, you can even go to the study and be like, see, you're doing what they said you would!

[01:48:46]  Back when Brett Weinstein was going really hard in the Ivermectin game in June of this year, he did an episode of his podcast Dark Horse titled How to Save the World in Three Easy Steps.
[01:48:57]  The guests on that episode were Steve Kirsch, And Robert Malone.
[01:49:01]  Just after they recorded that episode, Brett was a guest on Rogan's podcast along with Dr. Pierre Corey, the founder of the anti-vax and pro-ivermectin group, the Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance.
[01:49:12]  It's within the realm of believability that Brett set up that booking, and given that Malone and Kirsch were guests on Brett's show, Spreading Vaccine Misinformation, I could believe that they'd be open to getting them on the larger platform, getting them up onto the big leagues with Rogan.
[01:49:29]  There's a subtle network of shitheads that are desperately trying to court Rogan to utilize his platform to spread their shit, and he seems more than...
