Speaker Time Text
alex jones
Andy in Kansas, you're on the air.
Thanks for holding.
unidentified
Hello, Alex.
jordan holmes
I'm a first-time caller.
unidentified
I'm a huge fan.
I love your work.
alex jones
I love you.
dan friesen
Hey everybody, welcome back to Knowledge Fight.
I'm Dan.
jordan holmes
I'm Jordan!
dan friesen
Welcome to part two of the week that was last week while Jordan was on vacation.
This is part two of the week of March 25th to March 30th.
jordan holmes
Right, you listened to part one and we needed to separate it into two parts.
unidentified
You understand now.
jordan holmes
Yeah, no, I completely understand now.
Listen to part one, wash the taste out of your mouth.
dan friesen
Right.
jordan holmes
If you are listening to this immediately after listening to part one, let me tell you something.
Go get a drink.
Go do something.
dan friesen
Take a bath.
jordan holmes
Just let that one go, and now Dan is promising me this will be the most fun I've ever had in my entire life.
dan friesen
This is a podcast where I know a lot about Alex Jones.
jordan holmes
I don't know anything about Alex Jones.
dan friesen
There, we got that covered.
jordan holmes
There we go.
dan friesen
So, before we get going...
jordan holmes
Should I reiterate my feelings on California, or are we good there?
dan friesen
Before we get going, and I fully explain that we're recording this immediately after we recorded the first part.
I would like to give a shout-out to a new donor.
jordan holmes
Oh, shit!
dan friesen
What's going on out there, Kirk?
alex jones
I'm a policy wonk.
dan friesen
Thank you so much for joining us.
jordan holmes
Kirk, absolutely.
If you are Kirk Cameron, weird that you listen to this show.
Super weird.
dan friesen
Very disappointed.
jordan holmes
Super weird.
dan friesen
Very disappointed.
I thought you were going to go with Captain Kirk.
jordan holmes
Why would I go with Captain Kirk?
He's a fictional character.
dan friesen
And his name is James.
But I was hoping you would go with Captain Kirk because then I was going to pivot that.
jordan holmes
Don't!
Pre-planned bits?
dan friesen
I was going to pivot that into how there was a Master P song on the Ghetto D album.
jordan holmes
Alright, alright.
dan friesen
An album cut called Captain Kirk featuring Fiend.
And I can't remember who the other feature is.
It might have been Big Ed the Assassin.
jordan holmes
Okay.
dan friesen
But it's about how Master P is Captain Kirk and he's down here and he has to put up with these hoes.
jordan holmes
That will happen.
dan friesen
The chorus of it.
jordan holmes
If you are Master P. You will have to put up with hoes.
That's just the truth.
dan friesen
The chorus of it, I don't know who it was.
It might have been Mia X. It might have been one of the other ladies who didn't really have album deals.
jordan holmes
You're explaining this bit to a level that is unconscionable.
dan friesen
The chorus of it is a lady singing, Captain Kirk, can you save me?
unidentified
Captain Kirk, I want to have your baby.
jordan holmes
That's a good rhyme.
dan friesen
The whole thing is an elaborate metaphor for how Master P, now that he has...
Record industry success can beam women out of the ghetto.
unidentified
Right.
dan friesen
And it is an unfortunately misogynistic take on it.
jordan holmes
Yeah, that's not great.
dan friesen
That's not great.
But at the same time, I enjoyed the creativity of the metaphor because on the level of No Limit Records, that was unheard of.
The level of extended metaphor.
jordan holmes
I feel like this is way better than if I had led you into the bit.
dan friesen
Yeah, probably.
unidentified
Yeah.
Anyway.
jordan holmes
Anyways, Kirk Cameron, you really shouldn't have made the Left Behind series.
That's all I'm saying.
dan friesen
Thank you so much.
And if you'd like to become a policy wonk, you can by going to our website, knowledgefight.com, click the support the show button.
jordan holmes
Or going to Amazon and buying Left Behind.
I don't know.
I don't know how it works.
dan friesen
Or get OD.
Available on Compact Disc.
jordan holmes
Yep, there you go.
In stores all over the...
Wherever record stores still exist?
dan friesen
Yeah, still better than Da Last Dawn, his follow-up double CD by Master P. It was a terrible effort.
Although there were a couple of songs on there that were pretty decent.
I Miss My Homies was a good song.
Was that on Good OD?
I think that was on Da Last Dawn.
Anyway, the best album...
jordan holmes
I'm just going to let you go.
Let's just see how far this goes.
dan friesen
Unfortunately, the best album of No Limits' entire catalog was by C Murder, who ended up murdering somebody.
jordan holmes
Which was...
The definition of not irony.
dan friesen
Yeah.
He has a lyric literally that is, you take the C out my name and you're left with a homicide.
Which is followed up by, the ghetto makes me crazy.
Like, alright.
jordan holmes
Alright, you nailed it.
dan friesen
His lawyer argued in court that he was incapable of the crime of homicide.
jordan holmes
Right.
dan friesen
My name is C Murder.
But be that as it may, his album, Bossolini, I think is probably the best album of No Limit's entire catalog.
If you disagree, please send an email to knowledgefight at gmail.com and we can discuss it.
jordan holmes
Don't.
Don't do it.
You don't want to open that can of worms with Dan.
dan friesen
Also, Mr. Servant's The Next Level is a great album.
Also, Life Insurance.
jordan holmes
As long as you think Dan's articles may be, the email that you will get about No Limit Records will be...
400 pages long, roughly.
dan friesen
Silk the Shocker has some respectable work.
The game is to be sold, not to be told by Snoop Dogg.
It was kind of disappointing.
jordan holmes
Did you say the shocker?
dan friesen
Yeah.
No, I think it's...
I don't remember how it's spelled.
jordan holmes
It's still the shocker.
dan friesen
Eh, who cares?
jordan holmes
I do.
dan friesen
You know what?
jordan holmes
And apparently you don't, despite your everlasting knowledge of No Limit Records.
dan friesen
In terms of that misspeaking, I would like to say, it ain't my fault.
jordan holmes
Did I do that?
dan friesen
It ain't my fault.
unidentified
All right.
jordan holmes
Did we already say that you know a lot about Alex Jones?
unidentified
I don't know.
jordan holmes
Okay, all right.
dan friesen
Also, spoiler alert, Silk the Shocker and Mystical did...
jordan holmes
Silk, duh.
Thank you very much.
dan friesen
They did two versions of It Ain't My Fault because they wanted to put one out on each of their albums.
jordan holmes
Right.
dan friesen
But unlike a lot of these assholes, and I'm talking about Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins.
jordan holmes
How dare you?
dan friesen
They would make...
jordan holmes
You are not even allowed to put those names in your mouth, sir!
dan friesen
Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins would do versions of, like, taking it to the streets, and, like...
jordan holmes
Taking it to the streets!
dan friesen
This is it.
Like, they would write them together, and then they would put them on the same...
Like, one would be...
unidentified
They'd be on both of their albums.
But it would be the same song.
jordan holmes
Never mind!
If you just finished part one, this is exactly the palate cleanser you need to get into part two.
dan friesen
That's why I'm doing this.
jordan holmes
You can see that.
dan friesen
My point is that Silk the Shocker and Mystical, when they did It Ain't My Fault...
jordan holmes
You're still saying it wrong!
Silk the Shocker?
dan friesen
Who cares.
jordan holmes
Alright.
dan friesen
When they did It Ain't My Fault and It Ain't My Fault part two?
unidentified
Yep.
dan friesen
Totally different songs.
jordan holmes
Just like this part one and part two of Monday's podcast episode.
dan friesen
And as for part one, It Ain't My Fault.
It is Alex's fault.
jordan holmes
Entirely.
Entirely his fault.
dan friesen
So we talked on the last episode about the Sunday episode.
jordan holmes
I wanted you to come up with a better transition than So We Talked.
Come on, Dan.
I expect more of you.
dan friesen
Speaking of expecting more...
jordan holmes
There you go!
dan friesen
I was forced.
jordan holmes
I know, a little bit.
dan friesen
So we talked about the Sunday episode where...
Owen Schroer introduced the idea of, like, we need our own David Hogg.
jordan holmes
Right, right, right.
That garbage pile of shit being wrong and Alex loving it.
dan friesen
And there wasn't really anything else all that interesting that happened, so that will be left off of today's episode.
jordan holmes
Well, Owen Schroer was there.
dan friesen
Also left off of today's episode is Monday, the 26th.
There's really nothing all that much that we need to talk about, except that Mike Cernovich shows up.
And Mike Cernovich accidentally reveals...
jordan holmes
I assume he has thoughts on the Infinity War trailer?
dan friesen
No, he's actually straight up being like, he's doing the move that I'm going to call the Paul Joseph Watson, which is, or just call it the Mike Cernovich from six months ago.
jordan holmes
Okay.
dan friesen
The I'm done with Trump kind of thing.
jordan holmes
Right, right, right.
dan friesen
He's giving a lot of like, Trump doesn't care about us.
jordan holmes
Well, yeah.
Duh, you stupid motherfuckers.
dan friesen
Yeah.
Duh!
jordan holmes
Duh!
dan friesen
You guys got played by a pro.
jordan holmes
Duh!
dan friesen
So he ends up expressing on this episode something that I think is very fucked up, and that is a mentality that really reveals that he kind of only cares about money.
And so we'll listen to that really quick.
alex jones
If I go on one little Christian station in Alabama and plug my videos, I would sell a thousand copies.
I'd go on CNN and plug it and sell none.
There's zombies watching.
It's background noise.
It's elevator music.
People are not listening.
mike cernovich
Well, yeah, and actually NBC wanted to do a big interview with me, and I told the guy, who seemed like a nice guy, I said, I go, look, man, no offense, but...
I'm just bored with people coming in and trying to bring up irrelevant stuff because it doesn't move the needle for me.
Being on NBC, for me, just doesn't move the needle at all.
60 Minutes, I didn't sell any books, Alex.
jordan holmes
15 million people watched.
I sold zero books.
unidentified
None at all.
mike cernovich
So I'm thinking, I went on HBO Vice.
unidentified
They spent 13 hours with me.
jordan holmes
13 hours.
mike cernovich
I didn't sell one book of Gorilla Mindset from that video.
But when I come on your show and I talk about how Gorilla Mindset has over 1,000 reviews on Amazon and also 100 just like that, people go, oh, wow, over 1,000 reviews on Amazon?
unidentified
Because we have an awake, active audience.
dan friesen
That's one theory.
Another theory is that InfoWars...
jordan holmes
Your viewers are dumber.
dan friesen
Well, InfoWars is essentially the QVC for unemployable, paranoid con men.
jordan holmes
Right.
dan friesen
And so they just come on and do basically sales pitches.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
And that's what he's doing there.
jordan holmes
Extending this sale for exactly one hour.
unidentified
To be fair.
jordan holmes
You are never going to.
dan friesen
We're recording this on Easter.
The Easter sale is in effect.
jordan holmes
The Easter sale is in effect?
dan friesen
For the first time in a year, that joke is probably relevant.
What do you mean it's relevant?
jordan holmes
It's been the same sale since last year.
dan friesen
More or less.
So the rest of the show is just...
A lot of nonsense.
A lot of him yelling about David Hogg being like a globalist plant.
jordan holmes
Oh, David Hogg.
dan friesen
They want our guns.
It's all very scary.
He has Gerald Salente on.
It's not really all that interesting, so we do not need to discuss it.
jordan holmes
It is kind of fascinating to me that none of these people recognize how sad they are in attacking David Hogg.
Like Laura Ingram.
dan friesen
That's fun.
jordan holmes
That's a fun thought.
Laura Ingram and all of these people, they're so ingrained in this concept of viciously attacking anyone who disagrees with them.
unidentified
Totally.
jordan holmes
That the moment they don't get...
That this is a child.
And this is a child who has survived trauma that they will never understand.
That they will never even be able to comprehend.
dan friesen
And so they're attacking it.
That might be a part of why Trump appeals to them so much.
unidentified
Of course.
dan friesen
Is that he has that same...
jordan holmes
Complete sociopathy.
dan friesen
Yeah, that same just attack people, fuck the consequences kind of thing.
jordan holmes
Regardless of what or who those people are.
Right.
It is kind of an interesting thing to realize that their defense...
dan friesen
You know what?
Jones, his motto should just be, fuck the context.
Because that kind of behavior is that.
It's just eliminating the context and just being like, fuck it.
Always have the same mode of operation, and that is attack slash lie.
jordan holmes
No, if there was a nine-year-old that was like, or no, if there was like a five-year-old baby with a YouTube video where their parents were like, hey, how do you feel about Alex Jones?
And the baby was like, fuck Alex Jones!
He would be like, that baby's a fucking globalist, and we need to kill that baby!
dan friesen
He would start getting into, like, some people are...
Shockingly advanced at young ages.
jordan holmes
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So it's totally fine for me to call them pencil necks.
dan friesen
He's probably an indigo child.
Start flipping into Project Camelot.
jordan holmes
Yeah, why not?
dan friesen
Which, by the way, I have two things I need to tell you.
jordan holmes
Yes.
dan friesen
It was my sincere intention to surprise you with a Project Camelot episode for your first episode.
jordan holmes
Yeah, I know.
I'm disappointed in you.
dan friesen
Well, here's why.
I listened to an episode where she talked to a lady who talks to aliens.
jordan holmes
Yes.
dan friesen
And she mentioned that she had just gotten back from talking to Mark Richards.
She went to Vacaville.
jordan holmes
No!
dan friesen
Yeah.
jordan holmes
Okay.
dan friesen
But...
jordan holmes
We got part nine?
dan friesen
Well, it's coming.
jordan holmes
Uh-huh.
dan friesen
But it hasn't come out yet, so I can't do it.
unidentified
All right.
jordan holmes
We got it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We got it.
dan friesen
But it didn't come.
And then the two episodes that she did do since then...
One of them is about Parkland being a false flag.
jordan holmes
Nope, definitely not doing that shit.
dan friesen
And it reveals how much worse she is than we thought.
jordan holmes
No, we can't.
I wish you hadn't even told me that.
She's so much worse than Alex.
dan friesen
And then she did an episode about the guy.
jordan holmes
I think you delight in ruining the world for me.
dan friesen
Somewhat.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
She also did an episode with these two guys who wrote a book about the real cowboys and aliens.
Remember that movie?
jordan holmes
Yes, I do remember that movie.
Harrison Ford.
dan friesen
And Craig?
Daniel Craig?
jordan holmes
Daniel Craig.
dan friesen
They wrote a book.
jordan holmes
Our two greatest smirkers.
dan friesen
They wrote a book about it, and it's so boring.
It's such a boring interview, except for one point where one of the guys who she's interviewing is like, well...
jordan holmes
I can't lie.
dan friesen
Me and this guy, we met each other in federal prison.
jordan holmes
Excellent.
dan friesen
One was in for distribution of methamphetamines.
unidentified
And the other was in for fraud.
jordan holmes
Oh, okay.
All right.
Insofar as he was selling fake methamphetamines.
dan friesen
No, it was two different guys.
They just found a shared love of ripping people off.
unidentified
They loved meth.
dan friesen
So anyway, we get into Tuesday, the 27th.
This is where we get actual Alex Jones narratives finally popping back up.
jordan holmes
Getting back into it.
dan friesen
And here's the first one.
alex jones
Well, former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens has joined a chorus of other globalists calling for the repeal of the Second Amendment and nationwide gun confiscation.
We've got his editorial from the New York Times linked up on Infowars.com.
dan friesen
Now here's the problem.
John Paul Stevens wrote an editorial for the New York Times called with a headline.
Repeal the Second Amendment.
unidentified
Yes.
dan friesen
Now there's the problem.
jordan holmes
It's a big issue.
dan friesen
That's the headline.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
And Alex doesn't read stuff.
jordan holmes
No.
dan friesen
And so, if you actually read the argument that he's making...
jordan holmes
I did.
It was a good argument.
dan friesen
I'll lay it out for those who have not read it.
The argument that he's making is that until 2008, there was not really an understanding that...
Yeah.
The Second Amendment wasn't about a well-ordered militia, and it was about your right to carry guns to everybody.
Before that, the...
And by the way, that was a 5-4 decision with a very contentious...
jordan holmes
The contentious Supreme Court that stole an election?
Who would have guessed that they would pull this bullshit?
dan friesen
Yeah, it was not like a, oh yeah, across the board, the Supreme Court, everyone agrees.
And before that, the Second Amendment was more or less understood.
The historical context is being that the states had a right to keep a militia in case one of the other states attacked them or the federal government attacked them.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
There's a lot of debate about intent.
jordan holmes
The thing that...
What he did was he wrote an editorial that was based in legalese, essentially.
He wasn't making an impassioned, like, ideological argument.
He was making a historical, legal argument.
dan friesen
Right.
jordan holmes
And admittedly, he's a piece of shit, but it was a good argument.
dan friesen
Well, I think my favorite part of the article was when he quotes Chief Justice Berger talking about the NRA.
He said that in pushing the narrative that the Second Amendment means that everyone has the right to own and carry guns, that the NRA was perpetuating, quote, one of the greatest pieces of fraud.
I repeat the word fraud on the American public by special interest groups that I have ever seen.
Which is incorrect.
jordan holmes
He's a very old man.
He's seen way worse fraud.
dan friesen
Well, probably.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
But that doesn't take away from the fact that the thrust of what he means is, this is bullshit!
jordan holmes
Yeah.
I mean, it's weird to come down on the side of John Paul Stevens whenever many of his decisions and his votes...
Have been so regressive towards racial injustice.
dan friesen
Sure.
jordan holmes
It's been an issue for me how many of these people who come out and are suddenly like, here's what we should do and this is awful in their lifetime prior to being retired or quitting have been truly horrific.
Yep.
It's so strange.
dan friesen
It's like Sean Penn writing a novel.
jordan holmes
Let's not talk about that.
I can't do it.
dan friesen
Well, all of it is just like, sit down, man.
jordan holmes
Just stop.
dan friesen
You think you're helping, but you're not.
It's going to be what Alex Jones ends up doing once he turns on Trump.
He'll be like, I can help take him down.
Stop.
jordan holmes
Stop.
Well, it's like the thing that got me about when Hillary Clinton was asked about how People have told her, like, go away.
And her response was, well, none of the other presidents, none of these other males We're told to go away.
They were tacitly allowed to do all of this bullshit that they've done.
dan friesen
I think Michael Dukakis was told to go away.
jordan holmes
He was, and he did.
He went away so fast.
And it was like, yes, you totally have a reasonable argument about sexism and how it has destroyed you.
However, you have an unreasonable argument insofar as, those fuckers should have gone away too!
Yeah.
You're right.
You're right.
They should have been told to go away in the same way that we're telling you now.
Like, that is absolutely true.
And one of the big reasons that you were told to go away and not allowed to do that is undoubtedly due to sexism.
But also, go away!
And they should go away too.
And Obama's actions immediately after his presidency, so many of those speaking engagements, so many of those...
Lobbying issues where he's being paid obscene amounts of money to just be like, hey, guess what?
I'm the president.
You guys ever hear me talk?
It's pretty great.
I totally agree.
Obama should go away.
I get it.
dan friesen
More of the fault is that we...
Never told other people to go away.
unidentified
Exactly.
dan friesen
And we should have been doing this all along.
jordan holmes
Exactly.
dan friesen
But also, I would argue that that is kind of a measure of sexism, because no one got up in arms about how, like, hey, why haven't we told these people to shut up before?
jordan holmes
Right.
dan friesen
So even you are being a little bit sexist.
unidentified
No, no, no.
jordan holmes
I agree.
unidentified
Yeah.
jordan holmes
I am totally, I totally recognize my own sexism involved with this.
This situation.
However, I have also said that Bill Clinton is a rapist, so there's that.
dan friesen
InfoWars owes you money.
jordan holmes
I know!
I don't know what to say.
Maybe the only president who should continue talking is Jimmy Carter, but at the same time, when he was president, he was a pile of garbage.
I don't know what to say.
dan friesen
He doesn't have time to talk.
He's too busy building houses for the homeless.
unidentified
Exactly!
dan friesen
Which we appreciate.
jordan holmes
He's too busy atoning for his miserable mistakes.
dan friesen
So, I want to talk a little bit.
I want to talk a little bit more about this John Paul Stevens thing.
jordan holmes
Sorry for derailing you into a weird...
dan friesen
No, that was fun.
jordan holmes
...both admission of sexism and yet reinforcement of it.
It's very strange.
I have bad opinions.
dan friesen
Here's the issue with the John Paul Stevens article.
Because he's talking about DC vs.
Heller being the issue where we come into people having the right to own guns as the interpretation of the Second Amendment.
jordan holmes
Yes.
dan friesen
It's all meaningless.
Because if you actually read D.C. v.
Heller, the Second Amendment they ruled is compatible with gun control.
I'm going to read to you from the second page of D.C. v.
Heller, the Supreme Court decision.
Like many rights, the Second Amendment right is not unlimited.
It is not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose.
For example, concealed weapon prohibitions have been upheld under the amendment or state analogs.
The court's opinion should not be taken to cast doubt on longstanding prohibitions on the possession of firearms by felons and the mentally ill or laws prohibiting...
Prohibiting the carrying of firearms in sensitive places such as schools and government buildings, or laws imposing conditions and qualifications on the commercial sale of arms.
All of that, everything that Alex Jones complains about, everything that all these gun right people are super afraid of, even in the decision that interprets the Second Amendment as being you have a right to carry guns, that passage ends with...
It's compatible with laws imposing conditions and qualifications on the commercial sale of arms, which is registration, which is harder background checks, which is legitimately all that the rational-minded people are asking for.
The only people who are asking for, like, no guns!
jordan holmes
Is basically me.
dan friesen
Or Alex's boogeyman.
jordan holmes
You know, here's my compromise.
I would accept guns.
If they were regulated the same way as roller coasters, like that kind of a thing.
dan friesen
Oh, sure.
jordan holmes
You're not allowed to build a commercial roller coaster.
dan friesen
Oh, I actually read it.
jordan holmes
Unless you're, like, I read an interesting article about this.
dan friesen
Like, recently a kid died on a water slide.
Like, a huge elaborate water slide.
jordan holmes
Yes, he got fucking beheaded.
dan friesen
And the guy who designed it is getting sued.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
Alex isn't talking about that.
jordan holmes
No.
It's the same thing.
Like, I'm fine.
Look.
People like to shoot guns, and I respect that it's probably super fun.
I should probably go shoot a gun.
I should learn how to shoot a gun.
Eventually, in order to obtain water, I will probably need one.
dan friesen
I think one of our listeners is actually jacking off right now about the idea of taking you shooting.
Someone posted about that in the group.
jordan holmes
That would be super cool.
I think I did read that.
That would be super cool.
But if that was the only place where you were allowed to shoot guns as a private citizen...
That would be awesome.
Like, it would be great if guns were part of an amusement park.
dan friesen
Sure.
jordan holmes
Not, like, a larger amusement park where people were nearby.
dan friesen
I would imagine that you would have to get a permit to build a water slide in your backyard.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
I would imagine that.
I'm not entirely sure, but I'd imagine that you have to.
jordan holmes
I think you are allowed to build a water park in your backyard.
dan friesen
I think you have to get a permit to have a pool in your backyard.
jordan holmes
That's a good point.
dan friesen
So, I think you probably would have to be some way licensed.
Like, you can take care of this.
You're not going to hurt people.
jordan holmes
That'd be great.
You shouldn't be allowed to just walk around with guns.
Frankly, at this point, I don't think law enforcement should be allowed to walk around with guns.
dan friesen
They're very irresponsible based on them shooting that gun.
jordan holmes
Well, I mean, at this point, they shouldn't be allowed to drive.
Like, they hit that woman.
Like you and I texted, you literally said, law enforcement is now is, or perhaps always has been.
a...
dan friesen
No, the goal of it is the defense of a white supremacist state.
And you see that through the way that ICE operates.
You see that through the way that...
Who cares if they kill black people all the time?
jordan holmes
No.
unidentified
Anyway.
jordan holmes
It's not to say that all police officers are white supremacists, but it is to say that the system that you participate in...
dan friesen
It's the reverse of a composition fallacy.
A composition fallacy is assuming that you are a part of a group, therefore the group is the same as you.
And the reverse of it is to say, this is the character of the group, therefore you are exactly like the group.
And it is the same thing.
Just because law enforcement...
Seems to be about defending white rights and white property and all that, and it seems like that's the history of it.
That doesn't mean that every cop is a white supremacist.
But the system needs to be drastically changed.
I want to take this to a fun place.
jordan holmes
Okay.
Sorry.
dan friesen
I'm sorry.
jordan holmes
I just want to say one thing, which is that if you do want to run for president, you should first submit to...
The death penalty preemptively.
Like, if you become president, if you do make it eight years, or whenever your term ends, you should willingly submit to being killed.
Like, that's the only way to accept the responsibility for what you're doing.
dan friesen
Interesting.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
I think that's a dystopian view, but I also dig it a little.
jordan holmes
Or life in prison.
Like the choices that you make.
Exile.
Exile.
Whatever you like.
dan friesen
It's the same thing with Solon.
I talk about him way too much.
jordan holmes
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, he's kind of a big deal.
dan friesen
But the idea of you make your changes, you rule as a statesman, and then you're fucking gone.
jordan holmes
Yeah, exactly.
dan friesen
But he did that to himself.
That was self-imposed.
And also he did it strategically so no one could undo the laws he made.
unidentified
Exactly.
jordan holmes
Like, I kind of think, and this is something that I might wind up elucidating further through writing, is that I think I could, if I were elected Supreme Leader, with complete autocratic powers.
dan friesen
Eyebrows up.
jordan holmes
I think I could fix everything, but before I would ever do that, I would submit to...
I am going to be murdered at the end of my term.
Because that's the only way to avoid becoming that autocratic dictator that so many communist and socialist countries have wound up having.
That's how you get the Fidel Castros.
If Fidel had been like, we're going to complete this revolution, I'm going to do whatever it is I need to do, and then you guys get to murder me, that would wound up have probably...
Created a...
dan friesen
Maybe.
jordan holmes
Stable democracy.
unidentified
Maybe.
dan friesen
Who knows?
jordan holmes
Or it wouldn't have.
dan friesen
But you'd be dead, so...
jordan holmes
Exactly.
dan friesen
And then another tin pot dictator would show up and take over.
jordan holmes
Most likely.
dan friesen
And then not submit themselves to...
jordan holmes
Almost certainly.
dan friesen
So...
jordan holmes
No, humanity is garbage and we should be removed to let the ants take over.
dan friesen
Speaking of garbage humanity...
jordan holmes
There you go!
dan friesen
On the 27th, Alex Jones, one of his guests, is Jack Posobiec, who sucks.
And we won't talk about it.
Because he went down to the March for Our Lives, and he saw a bunch of...
jordan holmes
Went on down to Georgia.
dan friesen
He saw a bunch of buses, and that's proof that Soros is in play.
Great.
Who's paying for these buses?
I don't know, a bunch of disparate organizations.
jordan holmes
Yeah, or just...
dan friesen
Maybe one guy.
Who knows?
jordan holmes
Just a charter bus company.
dan friesen
So who cares about that stuff?
jordan holmes
Everybody might have just bought a ticket.
dan friesen
Alex has another guest.
And it's a guest that he hasn't had on before.
And I'm thrilled that he's showed up.
jordan holmes
Okay.
dan friesen
This is a gentleman by the name of Ben Garrison.
Do you know about Ben Garrison?
jordan holmes
I do not know anything about Ben Garrison.
dan friesen
Ben Garrison is the favored political cartoonist of the alt-right.
alex jones
No.
dan friesen
I'm gonna...
jordan holmes
Spoo.
dan friesen
Put your head...
jordan holmes
Reject.
dan friesen
Put your head over here.
This is one of his political cartoons right here.
This is one you can find on his website.
It's about California being in a shoot-off with Jeff Sessions.
If you look around here, you'll see the Golden Bear Saloon here that welcomes immigrants.
If you want to see this picture, it's also on knowledgefight.com.
We have it.
If you look in the saloon, no ice.
They have no ice.
jordan holmes
I get it.
dan friesen
And if you zoom in, that guy right there, he has a gang written on his head.
jordan holmes
Great.
dan friesen
Also, we have sessions labeled, sanctuary labeled.
Governor labeled California.
jordan holmes
I'm going to go on a limb here, and I'm going to say, if you are going to be a political cartoonist, perhaps the cartoon itself should be representative of what it is you're trying to say, as opposed to you just writing.
That's his style.
If he drew stick figures and just wrote there, that would be more than enough for what he's saying.
dan friesen
His style is over-labeling things.
And if you look at his cartoons, it's almost comical, the extent he has to go.
Like, he has to do so much work to make it make sense by, like, this is that.
jordan holmes
Right, exactly.
Which means he's a bad cartoonist.
dan friesen
I argue that it is a sign of lack of craft.
Right.
But I will say this.
He shows up on InfoWars with a...
With a cowboy hat, which is pretty fun.
jordan holmes
All right, there we go.
dan friesen
And he's substantial.
jordan holmes
Does the cowboy hat have his name on it?
Because that is essentially what he does as a cartoonist.
dan friesen
I posted in the Facebook group, this is not a drill, Ben Garrison is on Infowars, because people clowned on him in the group before.
jordan holmes
Okay.
dan friesen
And immediately, I believe it was Policy Wonk Jim chimed in, is the hat labeled?
jordan holmes
There we go.
All right, Jim.
You and I are on the same page.
dan friesen
So Alex just keeps talking to him about, like, your work is perfect and all this.
alex jones
Sure.
dan friesen
And it's very clearly because he wants to sell...
Coffee table books of his cartoons on the website.
unidentified
Of course.
dan friesen
He makes it clear.
And it's a very boring interview, except for one thing.
jordan holmes
You know what the best part of graphic novels are?
Is that they never let the images speak for themselves.
dan friesen
Never.
jordan holmes
That's the best part of graphic novels, that they always over-label every panel.
dan friesen
I would say that, like, the far side often left you up, you to, there would be the caption, and then not, like, bear, and then an arrow.
It wouldn't be, like, explaining.
jordan holmes
There wouldn't be somebody holding a basketball and then a label saying, basketball player.
dan friesen
Sport.
jordan holmes
Yeah, exactly.
Sportist.
dan friesen
The only thing that's interesting about this entire interview is that Alex Jones has a breakdown of equipment.
And so as he's trying to go to the interview with Ben Garrison, his earpiece breaks.
jordan holmes
Oh, this is my favorite.
My favorite is whenever you can't hear somebody talk, even though they're trying to talk.
Or whenever Alex can't hear anything.
dan friesen
So here's how it plays out.
alex jones
I don't need to impress on listeners and viewers.
That I've got a broken headpiece and I can't hear it all now.
So when I get another one, we'll get Ben Garrison on.
jordan holmes
So when he gets another earpiece.
dan friesen
And he doesn't need to impress this on the listeners.
So he does that and then maybe 20 seconds later he's like, Ben, I'll say you.
And then just has Ben Garrison vamp.
He just has him vamp.
jordan holmes
Okay.
dan friesen
Like, Ben Garrison just starts talking about stuff, and Alex can't respond to it.
And it's funny, because in the middle of one of Ben Garrison's rants, Alex accidentally turned his mic on, and you can hear him yelling at the staff about his earpiece.
jordan holmes
No shit.
dan friesen
So here's that.
unidentified
All right.
And Karl Marx says, a democracy is a good thing because it's on the road.
I do two hours with a broken headset.
dan friesen
Well, this dumb asshole.
jordan holmes
Fuck it, I'll do it!
dan friesen
Dumb assholes trying to talk about Karl Marx.
Alex accidentally pops his mic up.
jordan holmes
It's crazy.
dan friesen
Such amateur hour.
jordan holmes
I'm a big fan of every time, like whenever he's like, oh, I don't use a teleprompter.
And it's like, oh, that's because you're a shit broadcaster and you don't fucking have any professionalism whatsoever.
dan friesen
Zero.
jordan holmes
But that's fine, because you're not broadcast on any actual radio stations.
dan friesen
On this episode, also, he starts doing a lot of Star Wars talk.
jordan holmes
Alright, now I'm in.
dan friesen
That he feels a disturbance in the Force.
jordan holmes
I was hoping for a more nuanced look at The Last Jedi, which is a fantastic film.
I recommend it to everybody.
dan friesen
Still haven't seen it.
jordan holmes
It's so good.
Let me tell you something.
That Luke Skywalker character.
Pretty interesting.
dan friesen
Interesting.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
I'm as excited to see this as the new Jurassic World movie.
jordan holmes
God damn.
No, you can't.
Fuck the Jurassic World movie.
This is Star Wars The Last Jedi.
dan friesen
I prefer dinosaurs.
How dare you?
jordan holmes
How dare you?
dan friesen
Alex is doing a lot of, like, the war is coming kind of stuff.
Like, I know something's coming.
unidentified
Right, right.
jordan holmes
When the First Order, like when the First Order attacks the Leftover Rebellion.
alex jones
We just started the war to take this country back, and it's not going to be a cakewalk!
It's not a joke!
This isn't a game!
They're not libtards, folks.
They're hardcore criminals on top with a bunch of dumbed-down, mindless, alone people that are scared and desperate who think they're going to become successful as soon as they get your guns and run your life.
Now, as I said earlier, this is so important for funding the operation.
Plus, if you've never tried it, I think once you try it, you're going to love it because we went out and studied the top nootropics in the country.
unidentified
Bad pivot, baby.
jordan holmes
Hey, there you go.
dan friesen
There's a war coming, but I need money.
Please give me money.
jordan holmes
Always.
dan friesen
So that's about the 27th.
He talks to Jack Posobiec.
He talks to Ben Garrison.
But again, the Ben Garrison interview, I wish it was more interesting than it was.
It just revealed to me that Ben Garrison is fucking stupid.
unidentified
He's bad.
dan friesen
That's all I got.
That's all I got.
So we move on to the 28th.
jordan holmes
He's no Mort Saul, I'll tell you that right now.
unidentified
What else you got?
dan friesen
Who did Doonesbury?
Burke Brethin?
No, he did Bloom County.
Who did Doonesbury?
unidentified
Gary Trudeau.
jordan holmes
Gary Trudeau did that?
I'll be goddamned.
dan friesen
I loved Bloom County.
That was so great.
jordan holmes
Bloom County is very good.
Have you been reading Harrow County?
It's a great graphic novel.
It's fantastic.
It's a horror comic.
So good.
So good.
Steve Dallas.
Welcome to the tangent episode of Knowledge Fight.
dan friesen
Steve Dallas was the best.
So cool.
So cool, but such a flawed...
Terrible character.
Anyway, now we move on to the 28th, which is Wednesday.
And Alex has some other narratives he's pitching.
The first one is about China.
He mostly talks about China for about the first hour.
jordan holmes
Is he mad that they've descended into a dictatorship?
Because I feel like he's on board with dictatorships now.
dan friesen
It's not like this is an unnatural path they're going down.
It's very similar to how they have been for a while.
jordan holmes
Much like Russia.
Autocracy is kind of a jam of theirs.
It's like playing the hits.
dan friesen
But that's the thing, is Alex complains about China not because he cares about China, but because he's providing cover for what's going on in Russia.
jordan holmes
Right.
dan friesen
It's always like, oh, everyone says that...
unidentified
Everyone says that Putin's a dictator, but what about the chi-coms?
dan friesen
It's just his way.
jordan holmes
No, I'm pretty sure we're all on board with the dictators becoming dictators.
You better point that shit out.
dan friesen
Yeah, it's both.
It's not one or the other.
Anyway, here's some dumb shit.
alex jones
China is in control of our telecommunications control grid that controls all the numbers.
EMS everything.
I told you about that years ago.
It's finally in the news only because we have Trump in there.
That's the problem.
If the Russians were in control of our telecom switching keys, I'd be going crazy!
Apple has given their code keys last month to Communist China.
Reuters!
Reuters!
I've had top experts on.
unidentified
They said, yes, it's the keys to the kingdom.
alex jones
You know the movie Elysium?
When they get the root key for the space station?
He goes, he's got the keys to the kingdom.
jordan holmes
That's what it is!
alex jones
This is insane!
dan friesen
No, it's not.
unidentified
Yep.
jordan holmes
Sounds insane.
dan friesen
We've talked about this already.
jordan holmes
Sounds like that's what it is.
dan friesen
In reality, what it is is that Google gave the encryption keys to China of Chinese iCloud customers.
jordan holmes
Now, let me tell you something.
dan friesen
Yep.
jordan holmes
If his listeners have seen the movie Elysium, I would be surprised.
Just by going off box office receipts.
Not a hugely popular film.
dan friesen
They've heard his review.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
That's all just a lie.
That's all just him projecting whatever he learned from that movie onto his version of reality.
Because the encryption keys that they gave to China, and they didn't give it to China, but they basically did.
They gave it to a local company in China.
jordan holmes
Right.
Which is essentially the same thing.
Considering that it is owned by the government.
dan friesen
And they shouldn't have done that.
jordan holmes
Google should not have done that.
unidentified
Absolutely not.
dan friesen
But it's not giving encryption keys to the entire world.
They're very different things.
It's just the Chinese iCloud customers.
jordan holmes
Furthermore, China has not hacked into our telecom system.
Russia has.
dan friesen
Interesting.
But it's just a way of Alex not really...
Not really giving information, but what he does do on this episode is something we love.
jordan holmes
It's some solid whataboutism.
dan friesen
Right, exactly.
I mean, that's what the game is at the end of the day.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
In this next clip, Alex Jones does what we love best, and that is do an impression of Bernie Sanders.
unidentified
Yay!
alex jones
Bernie Sanders.
unidentified
I want a vacation in China, and I had my honeymoon in Russia in 1971.
These are demons!
alex jones
Big, selfish pig creatures!
Oh, my God!
Help me from these people!
jordan holmes
I smell an ad pivot.
dan friesen
No, no ad pivot.
Just exasperation.
Because he got winded doing that.
jordan holmes
Is Bernie Sanders also a siren?
dan friesen
Must be.
jordan holmes
Weird.
dan friesen
Guys, a flood's coming.
jordan holmes
Yeah, that's very strange.
dan friesen
So one of the other narratives that he's pitching is actually a new one here on the 28th of March, on Wednesday.
And that has to do with...
jordan holmes
It's been a while since we've gotten a new narrative.
dan friesen
Not really, because we've got the John Paul Stevens narrative.
jordan holmes
Yeah, but that just ties into the old narrative.
dan friesen
We've got bad news.
This one does, too.
jordan holmes
Oh, goddammit.
dan friesen
But it's a new wrinkle on it, and I actually have some really interesting information.
On the other side.
jordan holmes
All right.
dan friesen
This one.
jordan holmes
Is it about Black Panther?
unidentified
This one is about Muslims in Sweden.
jordan holmes
All right.
Muslims in Sweden.
alex jones
This is on Infowars.com.
The official Swedish government has put out handbooks for Muslims to explain how to have sex with their children.
Because I guess they're just saying we accept that you have child brides.
Mohammed married a nine-year-old.
And so you can actually read the manual being put out nationwide.
Swedish government.
Releases brochure for migrants legitimizing child marriage.
You just can't make this up.
jordan holmes
Yes, you can.
dan friesen
So, I can't find this brochure because...
jordan holmes
It doesn't sound like the Swedish government.
dan friesen
The only thing I can find on this is an article on InfoWars written by Paul Joseph Watson.
Their only citation is tweets from a guy who's talking about it.
jordan holmes
InfoWars.
We bring you the latest...
Tweets from a guy.
dan friesen
And what it appears to be is that the brochure talks about people who have married underage folks in other countries and then immigrate, about how they recognize the marriage, but also recommend that adults don't live with or marry anyone under the age of 15, because that's fucked up.
jordan holmes
Yeah, that's a weird place for Sweden to be, because...
They are trying so much to understand and respect everybody, almost to an overdone extent, that, of course, they're going to be like, we are trying to include everyone, and yes, we get that your culture is weird in that way, but also, please don't do that.
dan friesen
But I would also posit, what are you going to do...
If someone was married at a different age than you deem acceptable in a different country, do you say...
jordan holmes
You can't invalidate that, right?
Or could you?
dan friesen
You could, but there would be implications.
Like, I don't know.
Statecraft is very interesting in international relations.
I don't know if you want to broach that subject.
jordan holmes
Because if you are doing that, what you...
Like, if you do say, if you come to this country, we invalidate...
What you have done in your other country, that is another way of saying you're not allowed to come here.
dan friesen
I do think that marrying people who are minors is wrong.
jordan holmes
Super wrong.
dan friesen
And Ted Nugent did it.
So that's fun.
unidentified
Right?
dan friesen
Ted Nugent married a girl who was 17 in order for her parents not to complain when he was trying to have sex with her.
jordan holmes
Weird.
dan friesen
Who would have guessed?
Oh, I'm sorry.
Didn't marry her.
He adopted her.
jordan holmes
Yeah, that's one of the weirder things.
dan friesen
Not married.
Also, Courtney Love says that she blew him when she was 12. Yeah.
jordan holmes
Who among us?
dan friesen
Also, spoiler alert, Ted Nugent's a guest on Thursday.
Kiss my ass.
That's a song of his.
jordan holmes
It's strange that he often takes the moral high ground.
unidentified
Weird.
jordan holmes
It's strange that so many of these people who have committed so many sex crimes often take the moral high ground.
dan friesen
And appear as pundits on Alex Jones' show where they talk about Muslims want to have sex with your kids.
jordan holmes
Hey, fuck it.
At this point, they're starting to appear on CNN as pundits.
dan friesen
It's nuts.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
Someone made a really good point.
I regret that I don't remember who it was, and I can't pull it up now, but on the Facebook...
Someone made a really good point about Ted Nugent.
The right just buying into the mythology of him and ignoring the reality of who he is as a person.
jordan holmes
I can't imagine the right ever doing anything like that.
dan friesen
He dodges the draft and bangs kids.
jordan holmes
The right would never accept somebody like that.
They would never elect multiple people like that as president.
dan friesen
Back to this Sweden issue.
I want to ask you if you know about this.
Did you know that girls as young as 12 can be married in Uruguay?
14 in Venezuela, 14 in Belarus, 14 in Bolivia, 12 in Colombia, 14 in Cuba, 12 in Ecuador, 14 in El Salvador, 14 in Guatemala, 15 in Lithuania, 14 in Mexico, 14 in Nicaragua, 14 in Panama, 14 in Tanzania, 12 in Trinidad and Tobago.
None of these are Muslim countries.
These are just countries that have different cultural...values than us.
And I'm not saying it's right.
I think there's developmental problems that exist there.
But when you play the game that Alex is playing and he tries to present it as a Muslim issue of child briding and what have you, what if someone immigrates to...
Sweden from Colombia.
And they married someone who was 12. That's not a Muslim issue.
That is a patriarchy and male-female issue.
That's more to the point.
jordan holmes
When you get down to it, as I've said before, or as we've said before, it's dudes.
It's not religion.
It's not all of this other shit.
It's dudes.
It's men.
Anytime you have a patriarchal system...
Fucked up shit is going to happen.
dan friesen
And Alex scapegoats Muslims for it because he decides...
jordan holmes
Because he definitely can't scapegoat men.
dan friesen
Well, now I'd like to talk to you about this.
Also, in the United States, I quote, Most states allow marriages at 16 and 17 with parental consent.
And some states also make exceptions subject to judicial improvement or cases of pregnancy.
When all exceptions are taken into account...
25 United States have no minimum age requirement for marriage.
jordan holmes
That's not okay.
dan friesen
Quote, Well, not just that, but it's also one of those things where many of these cultures groom children for marriage, even if there is no sexual contact.
jordan holmes
There is still, like, you're 12, we have promised you.
And so, even if you're 14, you're married to this guy, you're not living with this guy, but you are married to him, and now your dad is telling you how to treat your husband.
Like, all of that shit.
dan friesen
And it's important to point out, these aren't all Muslims.
jordan holmes
No, they're mostly Christians.
dan friesen
You do find that often.
jordan holmes
So many of them.
dan friesen
Like, everyone likes to point the finger at, like, I had a buddy who, when I was growing up, he was an Indian.
I guess his parents were Hindu, but he wasn't.
He was just sort of a cool dude.
jordan holmes
He was just kind of a dude.
dan friesen
Yeah, he was a good dude.
And his parents were very insistent that they wanted to arrange a marriage.
And he bucked back against that, and it was a little bit of an issue for them.
But then now he's married to someone on choice, and what have you.
jordan holmes
Weird.
Shouldn't have done that.
dan friesen
And everything is fine.
Everything is great.
He went over and actually had the marriage in India.
unidentified
Right.
dan friesen
And everything is awesome.
But there are cases like that.
That's not a Muslim issue.
jordan holmes
Well, recently in the news was somebody who...
It was a young woman who rejected her parents' arranged marriage and they threw hot oil at her.
And they abused her in so many different ways.
And it's like...
That is the actions of insane people.
That's why it's news.
It's not the actions of the religion as a whole or the people as a whole or the culture as a whole.
Most of the people in that culture would be like, hey, we get that arranged marriage is part of our culture.
But that's still fucked up.
dan friesen
Totally.
And on this episode, Alex gets a bit into...
He has a guest on who wants to talk a ton about female genital mutilation and about how the Muslims are doing too much of it.
And he is too much of it.
jordan holmes
And he is too much.
dan friesen
But if you look into it and you look into what the Quran says...
jordan holmes
But again, you get down to dudes.
Right.
dan friesen
But if you look at what the Quran says and interpreters of Islamic law...
They don't support that.
It's not that the Orthodox Islam does support that.
There is a verse about circumcision, but it's very specific about how you should not do harm to people.
And so it's crazy.
But I want to talk about this further because I need to drive home the point.
jordan holmes
You really acted like I was about to interrupt you.
dan friesen
No.
I just want to drive home that point.
That 16,400 children in Florida since 2000 have been married, which is the second highest incidence.
The highest is Texas.
jordan holmes
You know what's weird?
dan friesen
Occupied Texas.
jordan holmes
You know what's weird?
That seems low to me.
Those people are fucked up.
dan friesen
The data shows that often a girl aged 15 or younger who cannot legally consent to sex in Florida was pregnant or had a baby and then married an adult man.
In each of these instances, the girl's rapist were handed a marriage license rather than a prison sentence.
In most cases, the exploitative practice takes place inside families or hidden from public view.
The few brave women who have spoken out about being pushed into marriage as children have shared horror stories.
Notably, Sherry Johnson from Tampa tells of being pushed to marry her rapist by her parents when she was only 11 years old and then being trapped in an abusive marriage for many years.
jordan holmes
Who would have guessed?
dan friesen
There's situations like this and it has nothing to do...
Often it has nothing to do with religion.
It has nothing to do with the culture.
It has everything to do with the idea of not...
Yeah, it's crazy.
rights.
unidentified
Yeah, it's crazy.
jordan holmes
And it's like you're forced to now have the rapist who...
Who fucking destroyed your life regardless of whether or not you can rebuild it.
He destroyed everything and he is now a part of your life forever.
Insane.
dan friesen
So Alex also has an interview with someone named Shazia Hobbs.
And she's a former Muslim who was forced to have an arranged marriage when she was 18. This is not going to go well.
And she talks a bit about the female genital mutilation.
And I support her.
In terms of that, in terms of her campaign of that, I do support her.
What I don't support is she's from the United Kingdom and is working with Tommy Robinson.
jordan holmes
That's not good.
dan friesen
And it appears that there's more going on there.
jordan holmes
You know what's weird is that...
I've started...
dan friesen
Oh, here's the quote I wanted to read.
Yes.
unidentified
From this Islamic law scholar, Dr. Abd al-Rahman Hassan al-Nafsa.
dan friesen
Quote, in Islamic law, preservation of the person, the life and bodily soundness of the person is a legal necessity.
Anything that compromises this legal necessity by bringing harm to a person is unlawful.
This is an interpretation of something that the Prophet Muhammad said, and I quote, trim but do not cut into it, for this is brighter for the face and more favorable for the I still don't like any of that.
No, I don't like it either.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
But also...
jordan holmes
I don't like...
I just don't like the concept of meeting a scholar of religious bullshit law.
dan friesen
That's bullshit.
jordan holmes
We've done that with Christianity for years.
We're already in the wrong just by requiring somebody who studies it constantly to more accurately be wrong.
dan friesen
Let's move on.
Yeah, we're not going to solve this.
We're not going to solve it.
jordan holmes
No, anyways, organized religion is bullshit.
dan friesen
Justifies it to say that Alex Jones is wrong.
Child marriage happens under his very nose in Texas, in white families, all over the place, and it is an issue that has to do with patriarchal systems.
unidentified
Dudes.
jordan holmes
Dudes.
dan friesen
Moms are guilty of it, too.
It's not just, and maybe they're responding to...
I don't know if it's fair to say that it's necessarily all dudes.
jordan holmes
It is traceable to dudes.
dan friesen
It comes historically from the male obsession of purity.
That sort of idea, certainly.
jordan holmes
Which is a weird idea in and of itself.
dan friesen
I think it's traceable to that, but I think the current manifestation, you could find a Like, let's say, a single mom household where she behaves this way towards her daughter without a male influence.
jordan holmes
Right.
dan friesen
I think it's possible, but I do agree with you historically.
Anyway, who cares?
What I want to talk to you about is how aggro Alex is getting on this episode.
unidentified
Great.
dan friesen
He's getting fucking furious.
Here's the first clip where he gets really, really messed up.
alex jones
Amazing silver products.
It's all there.
And when you fund us, you absolutely let Soros and CNN and all the anti-free speech, authoritarian, lying scum know.
They'll never break America's will.
They'll never break humanity.
And they'll never eradicate Christianity.
And we're just now waking up.
And you're in the dustbin of history.
And we hate your stinking criminal, slimy, filthy guts, maggot.
dan friesen
So that's the first one.
That's a hard way to get out of an ad.
alex jones
Yeah.
jordan holmes
Yep.
That's one of the weirder ad pivots.
Generally speaking, we get the screaming about nonsense so loudly and then the ad pivot.
This one is the ad pivot.
Turning into screaming about nonsense.
Yeah, yeah.
dan friesen
And it's kind of the mood he's in on this episode here on the 28th.
He's in a violent fucking mood.
jordan holmes
Here's my question to you.
That I think only you have a...
dan friesen
I love questions.
jordan holmes
...point of view that...
Especially ones that derail the situation.
I think this one actually is relevant.
dan friesen
I'm listening.
jordan holmes
We have, if not conclusively proven, proven to a...
Very solid extent that the larger portion of his funding has to come from...
dan friesen
Dark money?
jordan holmes
Not his listeners.
dan friesen
Yeah.
Well, or listeners that only listen to him online.
I think that's entirely possible.
But even that...
jordan holmes
But why...
How is it that he can be...
dan friesen
Because we're referencing back to the idea that he's not on many radio stations.
unidentified
Yeah.
jordan holmes
Well, not just that, but there's no way to reconcile.
dan friesen
If you look on his proper YouTube channels, what you'll see...
In terms of his actual long-form shows, those aren't posted on the real Alex Jones channel.
They're posted on another channel, the Ron Gibson channel, which clearly is affiliated with Alex.
jordan holmes
Naturally.
dan friesen
And that posts all of the long-form videos, and you see that maybe 10,000, 20,000 people watch the actual show.
Now, the numbers that Alex gets for his three-minute clips are higher, and you might have 50,000 people who are watching these clips.
Maybe $100,000 if it's something really salacious.
But that doesn't add up to the millions of dollars he needs to run the operation.
jordan holmes
So why is it that he's so aggressive as a cover tactic?
Because it's not fiscally possible for him to obtain the amount of money he has.
With the listenership or the viewership that we see.
dan friesen
I would pause it.
jordan holmes
So why is it that he's so...
Does he have to be aggressive?
dan friesen
Here's what I would suggest.
I think that he's getting money from somebody to...
Bolster the operation.
I don't know who that is.
jordan holmes
Probably the Mercers.
dan friesen
That's an attractive option.
The Koch brothers in the past are a very attractive option.
Sheldon Adelson is an attractive option.
jordan holmes
Yep.
All billionaires who should be beheaded.
dan friesen
Any of these Koch-related think tanks, the Center for American Prosperity, Freedom Works, those sorts of things are attractive possibilities.
But since we can't prove any of that, I don't know.
But I am certain, based on what he needs to pay to make this happen, and the rent he must be paying on that studio space, which we found and figured out round about what he's paying in rent, there's no way he's doing it with the audience that he has.
jordan holmes
So why is it then that he is so this guy?
Why is he such an aggressive salesman when clearly his sales can't...
dan friesen
Here's what I'm getting to.
Here's what I was getting to.
I was building up to this.
It's possible that he has an allowance or whatever from whoever's bolstering him.
unidentified
Okay.
dan friesen
And the money that comes in from all this other stuff...
jordan holmes
His fun bucks?
dan friesen
Boat money.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
Or whatever.
unidentified
Yeah.
jordan holmes
Okay.
dan friesen
If you're accustomed to a certain lifestyle and shit, and you're like sugar daddy, we're going to keep you afloat.
unidentified
All right.
jordan holmes
So he's got an endowment, and then his viewers provide him with...
Six Flags money.
dan friesen
That's what I'm guessing.
That's the best way I can sort of contextualize it.
But again, I can't prove any of this.
This is just what the...
jordan holmes
It's just mathematically impossible for it not to be true.
dan friesen
Well, it's just what the facts on the ground lead me to believe.
And I'm looking into stuff.
Hopefully we'll be able to figure some of this out eventually.
Because of the way that these think tanks and foundations operate, they don't have to report who they give money to and shit like that.
So a lot of that is not publicly available.
jordan holmes
Hey, Citizens United, you're great.
Absolutely a fantastic thing that happened to our country.
dan friesen
So in this next clip, Alex Jones continues being fucking aggro.
alex jones
There's a spirit, and the average leftist has now fully downloaded it.
The average leftist is a dumb, stupid, empty zombie.
Sounds right!
And they will suck your soul so fast.
Because what's a zombie want?
It wants brains, because it ain't got it.
It's metaphysical.
dan friesen
Alright.
Cool, cool, cool.
That's not violent at all.
jordan holmes
I don't think a zombie wants brains because they don't have them.
dan friesen
No, that's the...
jordan holmes
I think it's more sustenance, right?
dan friesen
Scarecrow, baby.
jordan holmes
Like, we don't eat...
Haunches, because we don't have our own.
You know what I'm saying?
dan friesen
I'm not sure I have good haunches.
jordan holmes
Yeah, but I would eat them.
dan friesen
Fair enough.
jordan holmes
I still have them.
dan friesen
I mean, it's all just horse shit, you know?
Yeah.
It's all violent rhetoric.
The average leftist is the enemy.
unidentified
Right.
dan friesen
That sort of thing.
jordan holmes
The average one.
That's the thing.
dan friesen
Yep.
Not your high-level globalist.
jordan holmes
Whenever we talk about the enemy...
It is not the average person.
dan friesen
No.
jordan holmes
The average person is usually, at the end of the day, like a good person.
dan friesen
I go way out of my way to make that clear.
unidentified
Yeah.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
The average conservative is just...
You know, easily influenced and kind of dumb.
dan friesen
Usually well-meaning and doesn't realize how far the mainstream of the right has gone towards this shit.
jordan holmes
It is the Cambridge Analyticas.
It's the Mercers.
It's the Koch brothers.
It's all of these people.
Not the average conservative.
It's a fucking billionaire.
dan friesen
Yeah.
Now this next clip is even worse.
This is violent as shit.
jordan holmes
Great.
alex jones
I realize this injustice is going on, and I realize the only reason I grew up somewhat free was because my forebearers were tough and didn't get pushed around and stood up for decency.
jordan holmes
Confederates.
alex jones
All the Michael Moores and all the Gloria Steinems, everybody else has been covering up all this crap.
You better know this.
I know you're trash.
I know you're filth.
I know you're totally fake, psychopathic.
People that have written off humanity and think this is all cute and funny.
And I'm sick of you moralizing and grandstanding about how you care about everybody when everything you do is pure, stinking garbage.
John, I just want you to know.
Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, the globalists, Michael Moore, Ward Rothschild, the Rockefellers, all of them.
Listen up.
You hate everybody because you hate yourself.
You're filth.
You're garbage.
So you want us to all exterminate ourselves and depopulate?
I got an idea.
How about you slit your own throat or jam some ice picks in your own eyes?
How about you hang yourself tonight?
Because if you want us to die, I say you need to die first.
I curse you.
jordan holmes
That is the most aggressive projection I think I've ever heard.
dan friesen
Yeah, it's pretty projecty.
I mean, I don't know how else to describe it.
Sort of talking about yourself a little bit.
jordan holmes
That is Alex avoiding dealing with the fact that he wants to kill himself.
dan friesen
A little bit.
I mean, he's talked about wanting to kill himself before.
jordan holmes
Yeah, exactly.
dan friesen
The other day, like a week and a half ago, I wish I had the clip of this, he's just like, I'm miserable.
All I got is my kids in this fight.
jordan holmes
This supports every argument we've made about his transition over time.
This is Alec Jones wishing that he could go back to the Highwaymen.
This is, why don't you slit your own throats?
unidentified
Because, God, I don't think I'm a good person.
jordan holmes
I think I might be evil.
dan friesen
If tomorrow, when I'm listening to the show, he comes in from break with Eddie Money, I want to go back.
unidentified
Go back and do it.
dan friesen
I hold over because I can't go back.
I know.
If he comes back, then I'll know.
jordan holmes
It'll be, you know.
dan friesen
It's already telling enough that he comes back from break with Tarzan, boy.
jordan holmes
Oh, no.
dan friesen
Anyway, in this next clip, Alex Jones takes a bunch of calls on this here March 28th episode.
And one of them is of note.
The rest of them are boring as hell.
This one is Debbie in Nebraska calls in.
jordan holmes
Have we heard?
I feel like we've heard from Debbie in Nebraska.
dan friesen
I'm not sure.
I don't recognize her voice, but I'm really only on the radar for the guy who was the house phone.
jordan holmes
That's true.
dan friesen
In Wyoming.
I only know his voice for sure.
But Debbie in Nebraska makes some really fucked up points about women needing to carry guns.
And here's the first of them.
jordan holmes
All right.
unidentified
I mean, I had one conversation with a woman and she was just curious.
She said, well, why don't you conceal that?
Why don't you have it under your coat?
And I said, well, let me ask you this.
I said, if you and I were to walk out in the parking lot right now and there was a psycho nut job in the parking lot that was looking for a woman to kidnap and rape, out of the two of us, who do you think he's going to pick?
And there was this long pause.
And you could almost hear the click in her brain.
And she said, well, it's not going to be you.
And I said, exactly.
I only need to be a harder target than one other person.
That's so fucked up.
jordan holmes
No, I was actually kind of on board until the end.
dan friesen
That's so fucked up.
jordan holmes
I was like, maybe if women all carried guns, we would have a whole different circumstance.
Because women are, generally speaking, on the tail end of all of the violence.
dan friesen
Right.
jordan holmes
So maybe that's a different story.
And then she ends it with that old, like, I only have to outrun the person that's next to me while we're being chased by a bear.
dan friesen
It's lion gazelle type.
jordan holmes
Yeah, exactly.
dan friesen
Yeah, you're wounded because you don't have a gun, so I'm going to get away.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
Why not be like, I don't understand.
I'm not judging her too harshly, but I don't understand why her line isn't.
I have a gun, so I can protect you too.
jordan holmes
It doesn't seem like she's interested in whether or not her friend lives or dies.
dan friesen
It seems like it's the same argument.
It's just as easy to say that, and the fact that she isn't means maybe she doesn't give a fuck.
jordan holmes
Maybe she doesn't give a fuck.
dan friesen
Now, what's interesting about this call is that Alex pivots and does this.
jordan holmes
Maybe she's more like a Jesus character, you know?
Like, teach a woman to murder.
dan friesen
She'll murder once.
jordan holmes
She murders once.
dan friesen
No, no.
jordan holmes
Give a woman a murder weapon.
She's going to murder all the time.
dan friesen
There you go.
But Alex gets fucking horny.
He gets hard as shit.
jordan holmes
I don't like that.
dan friesen
During this call, and here's what ends up happening.
unidentified
I had talked to one girl.
She came up to me, and she goes, well, I have a restraining order.
I'm like, baby, that's just piece of paper.
It is not going to stop a gun or a knife.
You need to get a gun.
I said, do you have a gun?
And she goes, no.
I'm like, why don't you have a gun?
She goes, well, I don't know how to get one.
So I spent 30 minutes explaining to her, here's how you get your purchase permit.
Here's how you get a concealed carry.
Here's where you can take classes.
You know, you need to protect yourself because the police are not going to get there.
alex jones
By the way, I'm not hitting on you, Debra, but this is really sexy.
A woman going to teach other women how to use guns.
unidentified
Gross.
jordan holmes
No.
dan friesen
Gross.
jordan holmes
No.
dan friesen
Gross.
jordan holmes
Also, you could just spend five minutes going like, Look, you can get all that permit shit, but you go to a gun show, they'll just fucking give you one.
dan friesen
But also so gross.
So gross.
jordan holmes
So gross.
dan friesen
Anytime anyone is like, I'm not hitting on you, but they're hitting on you.
jordan holmes
I'm not a racist, but of sexual assault.
dan friesen
Exactly.
And the way he's sexualizing this call is just like...
She didn't call for that.
Is that a fetish?
jordan holmes
Women teaching other women how to use guns?
Are there Pornhub videos of that?
dan friesen
Probably not Pornhub, but Alt-Right Pornhub.
Second Amendment Hub.
Something like that.
Yeah, probably.
It's gross, though.
That call was not sexual in any way.
And the way that he introduces that.
He wouldn't do that if she was a male.
jordan holmes
Disagree.
Disagree.
That was violent, which to Alex is sexy.
dan friesen
But at the same time, if it was a guy saying, like, I want to teach other dudes how to shoot, he wouldn't have said it was sexy.
He would say, that's admirable.
That's noble, that's patriotic, or something like that.
He's only doing that because she's a woman.
jordan holmes
Yeah, I mean, he can only ultimately sexualize women in the same way that he has to describe them as women are being put on a pedestal.
Right, because that's the same concept.
dan friesen
It's a power thing, and I'm glad you brought that up, because here's something else he says on this show.
jordan holmes
Oh, no.
alex jones
The West worships women.
jordan holmes
Oh, no.
alex jones
And in many other ancient cultures, that was the case.
But in the West, women are worshipped.
As the Holy Grail.
And so that's why women got empowered in the West, because they're worshipped in the West.
jordan holmes
Oh boy.
dan friesen
That's a fun.
jordan holmes
Oh boy.
Dan?
Dan?
dan friesen
That's a fun.
jordan holmes
Let me ask you a question.
Did women get the right to vote because they were worshipped?
I feel like it wasn't that.
dan friesen
It took 144 years after America was founded for that to happen.
jordan holmes
Might have been something fucking different.
Maybe it wasn't fucking worship.
Maybe it was women all coming together and being like, this is fucking bullshit.
And not even all women, like a smaller percentage of women than any of us would really fucking expect.
Hey, Jordan.
Oh, it's because they were worshipped.
It was because of men.
unidentified
Worshipped.
jordan holmes
Men!
Men gave them the right to vote.
It's not because they fought for the right to vote.
No, men gave it to them because of their worship of women.
dan friesen
So you're just talking about the right to vote.
I want to talk about a couple of more really fun things that people don't talk about all that much.
jordan holmes
Oh, yeah?
dan friesen
Did you know that until 1922, women lost their citizenship if they married a foreigner?
unidentified
That's right.
dan friesen
Because it was just assumed that they would take on the foreign status of their husband because they were subservient.
Well, that's their subservient, of course.
jordan holmes
Wait, that's real?
dan friesen
They lost their citizenship.
jordan holmes
That's not even a thing!
That's not even a thing!
dan friesen
That was until 1922.
And then, get this, it continued until 1931 if the man was Asian.
Because we hated Asians so much.
jordan holmes
Oh, well that makes sense though.
dan friesen
Also, did you know that it was completely illegal to not allow women to practice law in the United States until 1971?
You could just bar women from getting their bar exam because they're women.
Until 1971, the Supreme Court...
jordan holmes
Is that because the law would hurt their brains or something?
dan friesen
They're too emotional!
jordan holmes
I feel like John Paul Stevens actually voted for that.
dan friesen
It's possible.
But he might have voted on the right side of it.
jordan holmes
Eh, doubt it.
dan friesen
That's crazy.
That's crazy levels of, like, if that's worshipping, that's not good.
jordan holmes
It doesn't get more worshipping than not allowing women to know the law.
dan friesen
No, they could know it, they just can't practice it.
jordan holmes
Fucking Christ.
dan friesen
And did you know that until after 172...
jordan holmes
1971.
dan friesen
And also, did you know that America was founded in 1776, and then 172 years later, the Supreme Court heard a case, and they decided...
That women could be barred from being bartenders at bars that weren't owned by male relatives because, quote, the profession of bartending could potentially lead to moral and social problems for women.
jordan holmes
Oh, well, I mean, hey, you can't argue with that.
dan friesen
It took 172 years to get to a bad decision.
Also, until 1970, it was legal for airlines not to hire stewardesses if they were married.
Until 1975, it was completely legal to exclude women from juries just because they were women.
jordan holmes
I really think 40% of men should be dead tomorrow.
dan friesen
It's insane, all of these weird things.
Whenever people talk about women's rights, they only talk about the basic things.
Abortion isn't even basic to some extent.
But they talk about the right to vote, suffrage, and stuff like that.
They don't talk about the ability to work in various professions.
jordan holmes
The right to abortion was guaranteed before the right to work on a plane.
dan friesen
Well, unless you weren't married, because they wanted single people who could be flirty and fun.
It's pretty crazy, man.
jordan holmes
I mean, but that's the same thing as...
I mean, that's still going on now.
Aren't there restaurants that can...
Reject women who aren't attractive anymore because they're classifying their waitresses or waitstaff as performers?
dan friesen
I believe that you risk getting in trouble for that.
I think that there are laws on the books, from my understanding.
That you can run afoul of the law.
jordan holmes
Not everywhere, though.
dan friesen
But I think a lot of those instances, you might be talking about, like, strip clubs and stuff like that.
jordan holmes
Yeah, but that's the thing.
dan friesen
But they're independent contractors.
They're not employees.
jordan holmes
Well, exactly.
Like, what is it?
Your tilted kilts or whatever.
Like, those bullshit.
Like, your hooters or whatever.
They classify their employees as such and such in order to get away with, say, if you don't lose five pounds, you get fired.
dan friesen
Well, we're talking about a secondary issue.
jordan holmes
I'm just saying, like, it's not like that is entirely gone.
dan friesen
No, totally not.
But I'm more interested in the broad strokes of, like, women were disallowed from all this shit for so long.
In the interest of protecting them.
jordan holmes
Wow.
dan friesen
So if that's what Alex is talking about in terms of the West worshipping women, I want none of it.
And I don't think anybody does.
And it's a bullshit.
jordan holmes
I think a lot of people do.
I think it's just the type of person we are.
dan friesen
So now we move on to the 29th.
Alex has sexually harassed a caller and then yelled about how the West worships women, which is great.
jordan holmes
God, that's brutal.
dan friesen
And now we get on to the 29th.
Alex is screaming mostly about how Islam wants to fuck kids.
Unfortunately, his two guests on the show...
He has three guests, but two of them are Ted Nugent, who became a 17-year-old girl's legal guardian so he could have sex with her, and may or may not have gotten a blowjob from Courtney Love when she was 12. Isn't that also a legal?
And he was 29. He was 29 when Courtney Love allegedly blew him.
jordan holmes
But isn't it also illegal to adopt someone in order to have sex with them?
dan friesen
I think it's a murky gray area, especially since he was 17. I feel like that's also an issue.
Yeah, probably.
jordan holmes
The fact that it is a murky area seems very difficult for me to deal with.
dan friesen
His other guest is Tommy Robinson.
jordan holmes
Pile of garbage.
dan friesen
And he has famously tried to pick up on a couple 15-year-old girls on Twitter.
jordan holmes
Yeah, great.
unidentified
So...
jordan holmes
Great.
Hey, great team man.
dan friesen
Well, but I mean, if Alex wants to do this whole, like, ad campaign, basically, about Muslims wanting to fuck your kids, choose better guests.
So that's most of the show.
And then he has a guy on named Mark Moreno.
jordan holmes
You can't choose better guests, though, because the only people who support what it is you're bullshit saying...
dan friesen
Those guests are guilty of the thing you're talking about!
jordan holmes
Exactly!
But that's the thing!
They're the only ones who are going to come out and say that the thing that you're talking about makes any fucking sense!
dan friesen
Maybe.
So here's another guest on named Mark Moreno, and it's about climate change being bullshit.
It's a climate change denier.
Do you know about Mark Moreno?
jordan holmes
I've heard the name before.
dan friesen
He runs a website called Climate Depot.
Here's what you need to know about Climate Depot.
jordan holmes
Do they do free shipping if you spend over $500?
dan friesen
Probably.
It's a project that's funded and created exclusively by the Think Tank Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow, which, believe it or not, received...
jordan holmes
They're always named something like that.
dan friesen
They received, believe it or not...
$500,000 in funding from ExxonMobil.
jordan holmes
Great.
dan friesen
This is always the case for climate change deniers.
You can always trace their funding back to oil companies or Koch-related foundations, which is also the case for Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow.
They received a bunch of money from the Donors Fund and the Charles Koch Foundation.
jordan holmes
I think that's a big reason why, if I was elected Supreme Leader for six years and then assassinated or subjected myself to execution...
I would really probably just execute all of the ExxonMobil people.
I would just start from the Koch brothers.
Oh man, the Koch family would be gone.
Everybody who is even remotely related to the Koch family.
dan friesen
You don't need to murder.
jordan holmes
I would seize all of their finances and I would just murder them.
dan friesen
You don't need to murder.
You don't need to seize finances.
All you have to do...
Is correct the future.
All you have to do is put in place sensible regulations, sensible oversight.
The way that they get away with all this stuff is loopholes in terms of like, I don't have to report that I'm giving hundreds of thousands of dollars through shadow and secondary foundations towards these goals that would be very easily debunked if you just knew that I was paying for all of it.
jordan holmes
Right, but the issue there is that there is...
And that's what we've been dealing with for so long, is that it's really hard to write laws that don't allow for those loopholes.
So if you just kill everyone involved with the Koch brothers, maybe we do a good job.
dan friesen
I think bringing back Citizens United or getting rid of it would be a good first step.
jordan holmes
So we kill Neil Gorsuch.
dan friesen
Sure.
Yeah.
Also, Mark Moreno was one of the first people to publish about John Kerry and the Swift boating.
jordan holmes
Of course!
dan friesen
Because he used to work for Rush Limbaugh back in those days.
jordan holmes
Great, great.
dan friesen
And they hoped to sway the 2004 election.
jordan holmes
You know he's a winner.
dan friesen
Yeah, he's a hatchet man for hire.
It's a really boring episode, and this guy named Doug Hagman, who's super boring, hosts the fourth hour.
I was going to turn it off, and I'm glad I didn't.
jordan holmes
Doug Hagman?
dan friesen
Yeah, he's just this...
jordan holmes
Where do they find these people?
dan friesen
This filled suit.
He's a boring-ass dude.
jordan holmes
Where do they find these people?
dan friesen
When Alex and Doug Hagman were having their little overlap before Doug took over the entire fourth hour, Alex Jones slipped up.
He was talking about Maria Abramovich and how much he does and doesn't believe in Pizzagate and accidentally said that.
jordan holmes
He's having a debate.
unidentified
Like, they think this woman...
alex jones
We'll conquer America.
They think this high priestess of admitted Aleister Crowley magic will crush us, my friend.
unidentified
Yeah, and thanks, Alex.
You know what?
She's got the, I guess a better way to state that would be she's got the elixir that will empower the people behind the veils, of course, the power brokers, to provide them with the necessary...
Spiritual, and I use that in air quotes, stuff to take them to new heights.
And of course...
alex jones
The adrenaline in the blood.
unidentified
There you go.
You're busted.
dan friesen
You're busted.
You are so busted, Alex.
You fucking literally believe.
jordan holmes
I dreaded Chrome.
dan friesen
Yep.
What an idiot.
And Doug Hagman is like, yep.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
He is on the same fucking page.
jordan holmes
Every time, every time they...
dan friesen
That's amazing.
jordan holmes
It's so incredible to me that every time they bring up those...
What you would expect is a metaphor.
The elixir that's going to take us to the next level.
Then they wind up making it clear that they believe there is an elixir.
dan friesen
It's literal.
jordan holmes
It's a literal elixir.
dan friesen
Yeah.
And it's something that's very clear.
Like, we've gone over this in...
Exhaustive detail.
jordan holmes
A million times.
dan friesen
Even going into trip reports that people have done from taking adrenochrome and how it's a very bad high.
Not a bad high, but just a weak high and no one would really seek after it.
Overdosing on adrenaline isn't really a fun buzz.
Even if their worldview was like, we've got to scare children to put adrenaline to their blood that we can then drink.
Even if that was true, the end result of it is the elite's like a bad buzz that's worse than just weed.
It's less than weed.
So go fuck yourself, Alex.
jordan holmes
So what we're saying is if we get an extra $100 in donation by the end of April, we will do an episode where we're high on adrenochrome and we're high on...
dan friesen
We can order it.
unidentified
What?
dan friesen
Yeah, there are sites you can order it from.
unidentified
That can't be...
dan friesen
It's pretty easy to synthesize.
You don't even need kids to do it.
You don't need blood to do it.
And we've been over this, too.
The amount that you could get out of all of the blood of a child, maximum adrenaline production would be not enough to even mildly get you high.
jordan holmes
That's crazy.
dan friesen
It's insane.
But you can get...
Because the chemical can be synthesized without...
Human bodies.
unidentified
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
dan friesen
You can get higher doses of it, and that's what a lot of these trip reports are.
jordan holmes
Let's just do an episode on LSD.
dan friesen
I'll do it.
So you're going to need LSD for this next clip.
jordan holmes
Nice!
dan friesen
So now we're moving on to the 30th, which is Friday, if you're nasty.
jordan holmes
I hate you.
dan friesen
Suck it.
Suck it.
Jordan?
alex jones
Yeah.
dan friesen
This is a mic down clip.
jordan holmes
Here we go.
dan friesen
Because this one is...
En français, it is très fucked up.
This is very fucked up.
jordan holmes
Great French.
alex jones
And I'm not here judging people who've had abortions.
That's how they get you in the trap.
You've had abortions, you've been involved in abortions.
I have.
The media then goes, Jones is a hypocrite.
He admits he's been involved in abortions and he's against them.
Yeah, it's called the space-time continuum.
dan friesen
What?
alex jones
It's called, when I was a teenager, I did bad things and I pledged to never do it again and I haven't.
And I got four children.
And I think my lucky stars, every time they're healthy and they're born, and then I just have nightmares about it, I have serious guilt.
Anytime I think about the globalists killing me or something bad happening, I just think about the children, and then I have no fear, just zero.
When I think about what I've done, I mean, if someday I'm in some globalist prison and they're torturing me, I deserve it because of what I did to my children.
I'm a murderer.
I've paid money.
I've killed 10 of my children that I know of.
Murdered him.
unidentified
Murdered him.
alex jones
The difference is I'm sorry and I know I'm wrong and I repent.
unidentified
I'm sorry.
alex jones
And I was young and stupid.
And I believe the propaganda.
And most of the girls wanted to have the abortions, but a couple of them didn't.
And I think about those magic children I'd have today.
But you know what?
I wouldn't have the children I'd have today if I hadn't had children back then.
It's all part of life.
So I don't judge you.
God judges you.
dan friesen
Holy shit.
Holy shit.
jordan holmes
What the fuck was that?
dan friesen
Holy shit.
That's crazy.
jordan holmes
He's paid for 10 abortions?
dan friesen
At least.
jordan holmes
At least that he knows about?
dan friesen
So I did some research into this.
jordan holmes
Just fucking pull out, man!
dan friesen
Well, the rhythm method is not...
jordan holmes
I get the...
dan friesen
That's not reliable.
jordan holmes
Look, who doesn't love unprotected sex, but fucking pull out!
It's 96% effective!
dan friesen
What you're doing is hitting on, I think, what is one of the more important points, and that is that, like, people make mistakes, and things happen.
jordan holmes
Yeah, but not 10 mistakes!
dan friesen
That's a behavior.
jordan holmes
That's a bad deal.
dan friesen
That's a pattern of behavior.
I have known a couple people who have been open.
I probably know a ton of people who have had abortions that haven't talked about it, but I know a couple people who have and have spoken about it, and generally it's a wake-up call.
It's generally like, oh shit, okay, I'm going to change the way I'm behaving.
unidentified
Absolutely.
dan friesen
The idea that he had...
10 abortions.
jordan holmes
That's crazy.
dan friesen
So I did some research into this.
jordan holmes
This is an insane person.
dan friesen
In 2014, there were 650,000 or so, right around there, reported abortions in the United States.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
There were about 151 million male citizens in the United States.
Assuming that all of those people just spread the abortions out evenly.
You have a.4% chance of being a male who's involved in an abortion in any given year.
Alex Jones was that ten times.
Which is crazy.
Like, none of this is to judge.
jordan holmes
Ten that he knows about is a lot.
dan friesen
But none of this is to judge and none of this is to say that it's wrong or it's bad to terminate a pregnancy if that's the decision that you have.
Absolutely not.
But that's a high number.
That's a fucking huge number.
jordan holmes
That's an almost intentional number.
dan friesen
Now, the other problem that I think is even more important is when he says that some of them didn't want it.
jordan holmes
That's not great.
dan friesen
That's severely fucked up.
jordan holmes
That's not great.
dan friesen
Because that's Alex Jones pressuring people into getting abortions.
unidentified
That's...
jordan holmes
Wow.
dan friesen
And...
Him pretending like he's just this guy who didn't know any better.
He was a sucker to the propaganda of abortions.
jordan holmes
It seems like he does know it.
He has to know better.
dan friesen
If he was reading adult textbooks and super mature reading 10,000 books about World War II when he was 10, the idea that, oh, I was such a naive person who didn't know any better when I got 10 women pregnant.
jordan holmes
I don't even know how to deal with that.
Like, I don't.
In ideological terms, I'm 100% fine with that, right?
dan friesen
Totally.
jordan holmes
Like, I support it completely.
At the same time, I think what that says is Alex Jones was almost intentionally trying to do that.
It's hard for me to reconcile.
dan friesen
I would argue intention might...
You might want to take that away.
jordan holmes
I don't know if I can!
dan friesen
I would say compulsive.
I would say that the more likely explanation is that he was engaging in a compulsive behavior that he really enjoyed.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
And he was able to get away with.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
In as much as sometimes they wanted to get abortions and the other times you could pressure them into it.
And you're just avoiding consequences.
It's so fucked up.
jordan holmes
That's so fucked up.
dan friesen
Because also the idea that, like, I learned my lesson and I repented and I'm so sorry after ten times?
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
That's nuts!
Why didn't you learn it the first time?
jordan holmes
Yeah.
The scientific method says that after three, you now have a pattern of behavior.
dan friesen
Well, sometimes the first time isn't as real.
Maybe I would give him...
jordan holmes
That's what I'm saying.
dan friesen
I'd give him until a third until you're like, I really got to change things.
jordan holmes
Three is a pattern of behavior.
This is nuts.
dan friesen
It's amazing.
jordan holmes
I don't know how to reconcile...
I couldn't be more pro-choice.
And at the same time, I think everybody who's pro-choice...
Is not up for ten different women forcing to have abortions.
dan friesen
I don't know what to say about that.
I think what it comes down to is generally when you're pro-choice, one of the most important elements of it is the women's health.
jordan holmes
The choice?
The choice part?
dan friesen
Yeah, exactly.
jordan holmes
Instead of the force part?
dan friesen
So what we're seeing here is Alex having ten abortions, which probably was ten different women.
And that's more him being wildly irresponsible.
And I'm not judging him for that either.
He was young and stupid and what have you.
jordan holmes
I think I am going to judge him for that.
dan friesen
I'm going to judge him for the parts of it where he's like, some of them didn't want to have it.
That's pretty fucked up.
And then I'm going to also judge him for...
Legitimately, when we hear him talk about...
Like pro-choice people being satanic and wanting to kill their babies.
All it is is that clip that you just heard being projected on them.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
He's guilty about his past behavior.
jordan holmes
He wanted to...
I don't know.
dan friesen
And he's just...
jordan holmes
I don't know how to deal with...
I don't know how to deal with 10 abortions.
I don't think I've ever heard...
I don't think I've ever heard of anybody involved in 10. I imagine...
10 is a lot.
unidentified
It's a lot.
jordan holmes
That's so many.
That's so many.
dan friesen
Statistically, it's a lot.
jordan holmes
That's an insane amount.
It's an insane amount.
dan friesen
Not saying you shouldn't have it, not saying we're judging you if you do, but it's a lot.
jordan holmes
I know!
I don't know how to reconcile.
Man, that is a fucking conundrum.
dan friesen
Well, let's cleanse our palate by checking out this next clip where Alex Jones gives his thoughts on Depeche Mode.
jordan holmes
Okay, alright.
That I'm interested in.
alex jones
Put him in an elevator.
Set him up to the highest floor.
unidentified
Alex Jones and the GCN Radio Network.
alex jones
Depeche Mode.
Incredible band.
Love them.
Seen them a concert three times.
Horribly politically dumb.
jordan holmes
I was going to say, he absolutely cannot possibly like their most recent album.
Because that was very anti-Alex Jones' bullshit.
dan friesen
Well, he screams about how some of the later verses in the song that he's playing, he chose to play on his own program.
It's a great song, though.
Involve Christianity taking cues from Islam.
And he screams about how, like, hey, It was 600 years later.
Not recognizing that Paul, when he wrote all his letters and stuff, lived in the 500 to 600.
jordan holmes
Don't worry about it.
dan friesen
Which is pretty contemporary with the beginnings of Islam.
jordan holmes
Don't think about the timelines.
dan friesen
Which Paul created the modern church.
But that debate of the genesis of various religions is very boring.
jordan holmes
Very organized religion is bullshit.
dan friesen
That song is a banger, though.
Anyway...
jordan holmes
It's a banger.
dan friesen
The mesh boat is great.
So now we get to Alex having a guest.
jordan holmes
Okay.
dan friesen
And it's a new guest by the name of Katie Hopkins.
Do you know Katie Hopkins?
jordan holmes
I have heard that name before.
dan friesen
She is from England.
She is a former reality star from the UK.
jordan holmes
That is why I know that name.
Now I immediately regret knowing that name.
dan friesen
She's most notable for being a brutal Islamophobe.
Great.
After a terrorist attack, she got on Twitter and called for a, quote, final solution.
jordan holmes
That's not great.
dan friesen
After the Manchester bombings in 2017.
unidentified
Great.
dan friesen
She's promoted hoax narratives about the Muslim no-go zones.
She refers constantly to Muslims and immigrants as cockroaches and rats.
jordan holmes
I don't...
unidentified
Like this.
dan friesen
She wrote an anti-immigration column in The Sun that was titled Rescue Boats.
I'd use gunships to stop migrants.
In June 2017, she appeared on Fox& Friends and advocated for internment camps being set up for suspected Islamic terrorists.
At a UKIP conference, the UK Independence Party, Nigel Farage, people who were into Brexit, Hopkins suggested that it would be okay if the House of Lords was, quote, sealed up and gassed.
jordan holmes
The people who always criticize their enemies, like whenever Alex Jones says David Hogg is clicking his heels together and doing the Nazi salute, goddammit if they don't love Nazi tactics.
dan friesen
Right.
jordan holmes
They're huge fans of genocide.
They just don't like the uniform, I guess?
Like, I don't know what's wrong with these people.
dan friesen
Armbands are out.
jordan holmes
Ever hear themselves talk.
dan friesen
Probably not.
jordan holmes
It's insane to me.
dan friesen
They gotta keep moving and keep distracting.
jordan holmes
But then you get back, again, you get back to the Israeli government and the way that they're treating as like, look, genocide is fine if it's not happening to us.
Right.
Duh!
dan friesen
So Katie Hopkins has advocated for a final solution about Islamic terrorism.
jordan holmes
Great.
dan friesen
And I keep that in mind as Alex says this.
alex jones
But I guess Katie Hopkins is back on Twitter.
I just always read about her.
Banned here, banned there.
They say, look what this woman said.
Get her off.
And then I go hear what she said, and it makes total sense.
Because the left is going into total censorship mode.
dan friesen
All right.
So you agree with all that stuff.
Congratulations.
Here's the next clip where Katie Hopkins...
Talks about conservative media.
jordan holmes
Oh, I don't like this.
alex jones
If you watch Tucker Carlson or watch you or anybody that's on Fox, it all makes perfect sense.
jordan holmes
White supremacists.
unidentified
I think Tucker is this kind of ray of light.
He's kind of my hope in all of the media landscape that we have.
Tucker is my kind of inspiration for the sort of show that we know Americans want, and the British people would love a show like Tucker.
jordan holmes
White.
dan friesen
White.
So now earlier, on March 28th, Alex, out of nowhere, turned the conversation sexy with someone who called into the show.
unidentified
Oh, no.
dan friesen
Now see where this goes with Katie Hopkins, who he clearly is into.
He's got a boner.
alex jones
Conservative women aren't voting conservative because their husbands told them to.
They're doing it because they like guns and property and they're executives and they own things and they're in charge.
They're the powerful women.
The leftist women are a bunch of chicken-neck idiots, in my experience, just like the men.
Katie, I'm sorry, but it's true.
Go ahead.
Conservative women are awesome.
I want women to be powerful and in charge.
That's sexy.
dan friesen
You like that, how it's like, go ahead, and then immediately started screaming that, like, I find that.
jordan holmes
I want to hear what you have to say, but first I want to tell you exactly why I enjoy what you have to say, which has nothing to do with the content of what you're saying.
It's because you agreeing with me turns me on.
dan friesen
Exactly.
And now we get to this next clip, which is fucking a disaster.
alex jones
And they want you dead because you're powerful, you're vibrant, and I'm married, but I gotta say, you are pretty sexy.
I mean, I like women, like, I don't know how to describe it, who are like, like the feminists want to be tough, but they don't get, like, the women I grew up around or my grandmas or anybody, you know, like, kind of stomping around in charge, but not in charge.
They wanted to be in charge.
They were in charge because they were alive and they were awesome.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
unidentified
Well, if you think I'm sexy, I will say I think you need your eyes tested, but I do think strong women are really fun to be around, and the reason my government is sponsoring a play...
alex jones
Well, that's what I'm saying.
Look, I don't think you look bad.
My point is, it's attitudes what matters.
You have light in your eyes.
unidentified
Ugh.
dan friesen
There's so many layers to that.
There's so many layers to that.
The first is that, like, first of all, fuck Katie Hopkins.
Her opinions are terrible.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
But she is appearing on this show.
jordan holmes
Once again, a majority of white women voted for Trump.
In case you were wondering, it's whiteness.
dan friesen
Eh, but she's for Britain.
She is appearing on this show.
jordan holmes
She voted for Brexit.
She voted for Nigel Farage.
It's the same fucking shit.
dan friesen
UKIP actually is even like, we're not.
We are not.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
She's not a part of us.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
But she does still speak at their events.
unidentified
It's weird.
jordan holmes
Who would have guessed?
dan friesen
But be that as it may, she is a person.
And she's appearing on this show.
jordan holmes
Is she?
dan friesen
Yes.
And she's appearing on this show in a professional capacity.
Now, I disagree with literally everything she's saying, but she's not there for Alex Jones to be like, fuck, it turns me on.
I'm married, but you're sexy.
jordan holmes
I don't know.
I kind of disagree with you.
dan friesen
No, because do you see how she responded to it?
I don't give a shit.
jordan holmes
I don't give a shit.
She supports an ideology that makes that a completely fine thing to do.
dan friesen
Fuck you.
jordan holmes
I don't give a shit.
Strongly disagree with you.
At a certain point, if you're supporting an ideology that is entirely built upon your subjugation, fuck you.
unidentified
Nope.
jordan holmes
I don't give a shit.
dan friesen
Strongly disagree.
jordan holmes
I don't give a shit.
dan friesen
Strongly disagree.
jordan holmes
What are you saying?
At what point do you become complicit and, in fact, what?
The cause of your own subjugation as an object.
dan friesen
I adhere to principles.
I try to, at least.
I fail at times, but I adhere to...
Principles, or at least believe principles, that are universal.
And they are just, this must be true, otherwise, I don't know.
And one of them is that kind of behavior towards someone is inappropriate.
I don't care what she advocates for.
That does not mean that she deserves to be treated that way.
jordan holmes
I respect that concept.
dan friesen
I understand where you're coming from as well, that she is propping up the system that allows men to, out of nowhere in a professional capacity or a professional interview, just be like, I'm going to give you a sexual compliment out of nowhere.
I understand that.
But at the same time, that doesn't matter to me.
way for a man to behave towards a woman.
And you can tell from listening to that clip that what she tried to do is deflect into Right, right, right, right.
Right.
And Alex immediately responds to that by interrupting her and saying, I don't think you look bad.
unidentified
Right.
Or whatever.
Now, she's trying to deal with.
dan friesen
The thing that clearly is inappropriate, because she wouldn't have said, if you think I'm sexy, you need to check your eyes, if she didn't kind of think, like, this isn't what I'm here for, this isn't what the conversation is about.
She tried to deflect it with a powerful position, which is that self-deprecating, humorous position, and it didn't work.
She does not deserve to be subjected to that.
Just because her positions are horrible, I do not believe.
jordan holmes
Here is my...
Okay.
I agree with what you are saying in a vacuum.
In a world that we don't fucking live in, I agree with you entirely.
Well, that's where my principles live.
At the same time, fuck her!
She is...
I don't know.
I don't know.
Dan, I genuinely don't know.
Because I am entirely on your side, and at the same time, I think she fucking does deserve it.
I think that is something that she is actively courted, and it actively accepts, and actively says is the right way for things to be.
So if she's going to pretend that this is something that she is not...
dan friesen
She clearly doesn't accept it on some level, because otherwise...
jordan holmes
Yeah, well, then fucking don't do the shit you're doing!
unidentified
Well...
jordan holmes
I mean, but at the same time, I get that the problem I have with that is that it reminds me of that argument of, well, don't dress the way you're dressing.
dan friesen
That's what you sound like to some extent.
jordan holmes
Exactly!
That's what I'm saying.
It concerns me that it seems like a similar argument.
dan friesen
It's the same thing.
jordan holmes
But at the same time, it's not a don't dress the way you're dressing.
It's a don't say that rapists should be allowed to rape.
dan friesen
Right.
jordan holmes
As though that's an entirely okay thing to do.
dan friesen
It's the same thing that befell the alt-right community when Lauren Southern came out and said that she didn't want to have kids.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
And everyone got on her and everyone started being like, what the fuck?
Everyone turned on her.
jordan holmes
Right.
dan friesen
This idea that you are white, you should breed.
Yeah.
That sort of thing.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
And it's...
I don't believe that just based on Lauren Southern's...
I know!
I don't believe that Katie Hopkins, who I hate for her positions, deserves to be treated like that by a guy who invited her on the show to talk about, admittedly, white genocide.
I know.
unidentified
I cannot agree with you more.
jordan holmes
Like, I genuinely agree with you.
I really do.
dan friesen
What this comes down to, I think, is...
I think you and I are on the same page on a lot of stuff.
But I don't know if we're 100% on the same page in terms of my philosophy about this world.
And that is that...
I lost my train of thought.
jordan holmes
I mean, that's the issue that I am coming up against here.
I 100% agree with you.
unidentified
Oh, no, no, no.
jordan holmes
I found it.
As a woman, as a human being, as a human being, no one deserves that.
dan friesen
I found the train of thought.
jordan holmes
And if you are, and I agree with you, I don't think she does deserve that.
At the same time, if you are saying, this is the world that should be.
The one where I am treated like this, my sympathy for you, my empathy for you, disappears.
dan friesen
Well, her behavior underlies that that's not what she believes.
jordan holmes
Yeah, well then don't fucking make it a reality.
dan friesen
Well, she's not.
jordan holmes
I don't know.
I don't know.
Dan!
dan friesen
She's not.
jordan holmes
I don't!
Fucking no!
dan friesen
Here's what I was trying to get to a second ago when I lost my train of thought.
unidentified
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
dan friesen
I believe, and I don't think we've ever really had a full conversation about this, but I believe that in order to counter this propaganda stuff and this entire world, sometimes what's required of you is doing the thing that feels unnatural.
You know, like, it's very natural to, go back to our last episode, yell at Rex.
jordan holmes
Right.
dan friesen
Because he's saying stupid shit.
jordan holmes
Of course.
dan friesen
And it feels unnatural to give a pass to it because you understand the context of it that he is a victim and he is being exploited by Alex to push these narratives.
jordan holmes
Respect.
dan friesen
In the same way, on a different scale, and certainly it's not a one-to-one comparison, it feels very natural to say, fuck you, you brought this on yourself.
Of course you behave this way.
Alex is going to sexually harass you in an interview.
Or turn a sexual compliment out of nowhere.
Whether you want to call that harassment or not is your business.
That's not for me to decide.
It feels natural to dismiss that and to say like, ah, fuck it, who cares?
But I don't think that's right.
I think that the unnatural thing is looking at it just as it is and realizing that she did not ask for that.
She's there in a professional capacity.
And imagine a world where she's on a different news show and out of nowhere the guy is like, that's fucking sexy.
Or imagine Alex saying that to Gerald Salenti or something like that.
Like imagine that and you start to get a picture of like this is inappropriate behavior.
That part isn't important.
It feels like you should say, fuck you to all these people.
unidentified
Right.
jordan holmes
Now, let me kind of, like, the more I think about it, here's the reality.
I 100% agree with you.
She absolutely does not deserve that shit.
I think my issue comes from the world that we live in now, wherein this minority of human beings is somehow the strongest overarching Dominant philosophy of our time.
So here's where I'm coming from, and I think this is my ultimate point.
dan friesen
I'm listening.
jordan holmes
Less what does anybody deserve?
unidentified
What is good?
jordan holmes
What is the correct way to be?
And more, how do we stamp out this bullshit?
I am coming from a place of...
dan friesen
I think you stamp it out by resisting the easy road.
jordan holmes
How did that work?
How did that work for Hillary Clinton?
You know, when they go low, we go high.
How did that go?
dan friesen
But that's just a catchphrase.
jordan holmes
I mean, I'm not...
Well, that I respect as well.
dan friesen
It's a bad example.
She didn't do the actual work.
jordan holmes
I entirely respect that as well.
I don't know.
That's what I'm saying.
dan friesen
It's doing the actual work.
It's actually wrestling with the issues and dealing with reality on reality's terms.
jordan holmes
Right.
dan friesen
And in reality, Katie Hopkins is a fucking monster.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
But she's a human and she doesn't deserve to appear or anything that she's done in the past or any positions that she has does not merit.
her coming on Alex Jones'show to talk about how bad Islam is, which he shouldn't be doing, and then be treated like a sexual object for Alex.
Yes.
Yes.
because, I mean, I don't want to put anyone on blast because everyone has their positions, and I respect all of them.
But in the...
In the Facebook group, Go Home and Tell Your Mother You're Brilliant, we had some conversations, particularly about Rex.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
And there were people who were on the side of fuck this kid and stuff like that.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
And I understand where that voice comes from.
And in the same way, you saying, yeah, she brought this on herself.
jordan holmes
See, I feel like that's where I am trying to avoid that.
I'm not trying to say that she brought it on herself.
dan friesen
What you're saying is her worldview entails this behavior.
jordan holmes
Yes.
dan friesen
That's what you're saying.
jordan holmes
Yes.
dan friesen
And that may be the case.
But if, I believe, if she had this worldview that was beckoning this sort of behavior on, her response would be different than a self-deprecating deflection that she clearly did.
jordan holmes
Exactly.
dan friesen
It was clearly trying to get back on track.
What she wanted to talk about is how there is a play that's being put up called The Assassination of Katie Hopkins.
jordan holmes
Right.
dan friesen
And Alex has to interrupt her in order to compliment her again.
jordan holmes
Yes.
dan friesen
I think that her worldview, while abhorrent and stupid, it does not imply that she should or is cool with.
That sort of behavior.
unidentified
Yes.
dan friesen
Because I'm sure...
I don't think you could ever talk to her and have her say this, but I imagine in, like, private...
I just...
Now I'm fantasy booking this.
jordan holmes
Yeah, yeah.
unidentified
No, no, no.
jordan holmes
I hear this in your brain.
dan friesen
I imagine afterwards she talked to her friends and was like, it was fucking weird.
Alex told me I was sexy.
It's fucking weird.
unidentified
Okay.
jordan holmes
Then here's what I'm...
Okay.
Let me try and get to it this way.
I think that my position on this is becoming.
The reason that we are who we are is because empathy is paramount.
Right.
unidentified
Empathy and understanding and the recognition that everyone is human.
jordan holmes
That is part of our belief system.
dan friesen
It is.
jordan holmes
And I think I'm I'm.
I'm wrestling with the fact that, or not fact, I'm wrestling with the concept of Maybe that's why we're losing.
dan friesen
We're not losing.
jordan holmes
We are losing.
We are losing.
Nobody has ever lost as hard as we are losing right now.
dan friesen
Knowledge fight.
The losing fight.
jordan holmes
I mean that.
dan friesen
I think you need to adjust your definition of losing.
jordan holmes
Climate change is out of control.
Income inequality has never been higher.
Civil rights are being destroyed at every possible fucking opportunity.
There's no possible way that we see an end to this that is just purely let's all be empathetic towards each other.
dan friesen
The big picture is terrible.
Well, that's the problem!
But I'm talking about our world.
The only things that we have control over are This show, our perceptions, our principles, those sorts of things.
And I think that no matter what happens in the bigger world, you have an opportunity to speak out against it or accept it.
Those are the two ways you can live.
And it's your decision whether you want to engage in either of those.
It's not a moral decision or anything like that.
Sometimes it is when it's slavery or something like that.
But be that as it may.
Well, but bring that up!
No, but the reality of the world is not our choosing.
We are mere actors on the stage, as it were.
We don't get to choose the play we exist in.
And we have to just figure out how to get through it.
You and I, there is not much we can do other than express our opinions and try and put out...
The best we can do in this context.
We can vote.
We can go protest also.
We can encourage people to get active and all that.
We can do all those things.
But beyond that, it is not our fault.
It is not our listeners' fault.
It's not even our non-listeners' fault that the world as it is exists as it is.
unidentified
But it does.
dan friesen
We have to exist within it.
And I would argue...
unidentified
Okay, okay.
jordan holmes
I'm not trying to cut you off.
dan friesen
No, I understand.
I would argue that just because all of the big picture stuff is real bad, just because of that doesn't necessarily mean that we're losing or that everything is terrible.
Everything is terrible, but it doesn't mean we're losing.
You only really lose when you give up your principles.
You only really lose when you are not fighting for what...
That which you believe is right.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
dan friesen
Because all of this stuff could get turned back.
All of it could be fixed.
It would be a fight, and it'll take a while, but all this stuff that is really terrible is not undoable.
It'll just take rationality, calmer heads, and that sort of thing.
And a beating down of...
All right voices and Nazis.
Put them back into the corner of the internet where they belong.
jordan holmes
But then the question becomes, and this is something that was wrestled with during the civil rights movement intensely, is the difference, the effectiveness of total pacifism versus violent action.
I mean, at a certain point, you have to ask yourself, Slavery wasn't ended by pacifism.
Slavery wasn't ended by protests.
Slavery wasn't ended by all of those things.
Slavery was ended by a fucking war.
dan friesen
And Martin Luther King wouldn't have existed without Malcolm X and Stokely Carmichael.
jordan holmes
He wouldn't have survived as long as he did.
And he wouldn't have been killed if it wasn't for the complete...
The psychopathy of the people that we're fighting against.
dan friesen
And, spoiler alert, we're none of those parties.
jordan holmes
That's a very good point as well.
This is not related to this conversation at all.
And I agree with you.
I have to give up that idea that I...
dan friesen
In the bigger world, there are the forces that are fighting and clashing and what have you.
And some of them are pacifist and philosophical.
Maybe imperfect example, but you have David Hogg and the March for Our Life people.
And then you also have Antifa, who will go around, which again is not an organized group as much as it is.
jordan holmes
Just a bunch of people who realize that fascism ain't great.
unidentified
Right.
dan friesen
So you have that sort of continuum that exists.
And so, like, I don't know.
I don't know how it's going to play out.
I don't know anything.
But the only reason this conversation has gone on this long is I'm...
Going out of my way to defend someone I hate.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
And I think you're a better person for it.
dan friesen
Thank you.
Now let's undo all of that goodwill with this next clip.
jordan holmes
Let me close real quick.
I agree with you.
dan friesen
Thanks.
jordan holmes
That's the end of that set.
dan friesen
Let me steal a cigarette.
I have another pack, but it's in my touch.
jordan holmes
This was an aggressive conversation, and I think you are right.
dan friesen
We just fucked.
Now we need a cigarette.
jordan holmes
Yeah, exactly.
dan friesen
And now, as we smoke this cigarette, enjoy this clip that will undo all goodwill towards Katie Hopkins.
At one point, Alex Jones, I guess he needs to take a call or something.
He just lets her host an entire segment.
jordan holmes
Great.
dan friesen
And here's what the kind of shit she's pushing.
unidentified
You know, I've often said the white farmer in South Africa is up there with the white rhino.
You know, they both face the extinction.
The white rhino, we just lost the last one.
And the only difference is, the only difference is that because it's a white farmer, the world doesn't care.
dan friesen
We've been over this a hundred goddamn times.
The white farmer murder narrative is very clearly about something else entirely.
Because if you look at murder rates...
Especially even in just South Africa.
jordan holmes
Right.
dan friesen
What you find is young black men being murdered way more.
jordan holmes
Always.
dan friesen
And no one gives a shit about that.
jordan holmes
Always.
dan friesen
Anyway.
jordan holmes
Who's kidnapped?
Who's disappeared more?
Young black women or young white women?
Who winds up on TV?
alex jones
White.
jordan holmes
There you go.
dan friesen
Yeah.
So after this, she disappears.
And Alex Jones gets back to that aggro shit he was doing on the other show.
This is gross.
alex jones
American leftists, you name it, all over the world went to Russia to be part of special units where they could just rape and murder Christians.
I mean, you know that's what the left ones do here, and that's what they do.
They always do it.
They just want to get your wife and children in a room and rape them and blow their heads off.
I mean, that's what they do.
dan friesen
That's what they do.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
So the leftists do it.
jordan holmes
No response.
No response other than, fuck off, that's bullshit, go fuck yourself.
dan friesen
I know.
At a certain point, we're going to end up with, like, so many clips like that that it's just like, Noted!
Fuck you!
jordan holmes
You're wrong, and you're lying, and you're lying.
dan friesen
And I don't give a shit.
Fuck you.
At the end of the March 30th episode, Alex Jones is real Soros-heavy.
He's really into talking about Soros, and he does a bunch of shit about how he helped the Nazis, all this.
jordan holmes
Of course.
dan friesen
It's in his memoirs.
jordan holmes
Absolutely.
dan friesen
I started reading his memoirs, and Alex is misrepresenting a whole bunch of shit from that, just because I was like, oh, I didn't know about his memoirs.
Just decided to read them.
jordan holmes
Might as well.
dan friesen
Turns out it just reinforces the position that he had nothing to do, even with his godparents' itemization of...
The things that were taken away from Jews in Nazi Germany.
jordan holmes
Of course.
dan friesen
Turns out most of the time he was playing in a field.
Anyway, this next clip, Alex, this is really funny to me.
He is insisting that Soros keeps trying to reach out to him.
And this is almost the equivalent of Alex being like, the TV is talking to me.
Kind of.
It's nuts.
unidentified
All right.
alex jones
In a bunch of the lawsuits they filed.
They'll always have a quote about Ann Jones claims George Soros was a Nazi collaborator.
They just put them in lawsuits, Georgetown and two others, as a message.
Hey, George, I know.
I know you're coming after me because I keep saying you're a Nazi collaborator.
These guys don't get it.
See, if the Nazis told me, go round up your fellow Jews and we're going to kill you, I'd kill them.
That's why the Nazis don't run Texas, boy.
We don't roll over like you.
I got high-level Hollywood folks years ago go, we really want to put your movie in theaters.
dan friesen
No.
alex jones
You can make like $5 million.
dan friesen
Not a chance.
alex jones
You know, George Soros had to do what he did.
He's really not a bad guy.
And, you know, I talked to somebody close to him.
Would you ever want to talk to George Soros?
jordan holmes
Sure.
unidentified
He seems like an interesting guy.
alex jones
And I'm sitting there.
And I go, is that an offer?
No.
And they're like, do you want it to be?
unidentified
No.
alex jones
And then I had another TV movie star on one time.
dan friesen
Charlie Sheen.
alex jones
And he just brought that up during a break.
He said, you know what?
Soros is his son.
His sons are not that bad.
You know, you ought to stop calling him a Nazi collaborator.
He did what he had to do.
jordan holmes
Tori Spelling?
alex jones
I mean, I get it.
Soros has reached out.
Hey, here's this option, Alex.
Or there's this option.
Hey, Soros.
Fill your hand, buddy.
jordan holmes
Fill your hand!
dan friesen
Fill it, fill it, fill it.
jordan holmes
Fill your hand.com.
alex jones
I will never tell the truth out.
Got it?
Ever.
jordan holmes
You won't buy fillyourhand.com?
alex jones
They still haven't figured out that I haven't gotten the message.
I got the message.
It's refused.
Return to cinder?
No such number?
I'm not ever selling anybody out.
And it's not because I'm a hero.
jordan holmes
No, it's not.
alex jones
It's because I know God's real.
jordan holmes
Or because you're a coward.
dan friesen
And you sell people out all the goddamn time.
jordan holmes
All the time.
dan friesen
All the time.
unidentified
Your career is all selling out.
Brutal.
jordan holmes
Brutal.
dan friesen
So, in this next clip...
Alex is operating under that dumb assumption that he has that whenever there is a mass shooting that people are talking about, all gun owners are blamed.
jordan holmes
Crisis actors.
dan friesen
Which is a dumb, dumb thing that he believes.
It's like, oh, why do you blame us, gun owners?
We don't really blame you.
jordan holmes
Furthermore, once again...
The majority of guns is owned by 1%.
dan friesen
Yeah, it's a very small...
jordan holmes
It is the tiniest amount of people who we are blaming.
Gun owners, generally speaking, are fine.
That's the reality of it.
I hate guns more than anybody, as has been proven by all of the things that I've said.
But most gun owners are totally fine.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
Anyway, this next clip, Alex is projecting a lot of guilt onto himself, and then he spins it into one of the stupidest ideas he's ever had.
jordan holmes
All right, I'm excited.
alex jones
So David Hogg is the cause celeb that we must fire Laura Ingraham.
We must give up the First Amendment.
We must give up the Second Amendment.
We must, Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them all in, or you are a child killer.
Turn in your guns, killers.
Turn in your guns.
It's time to repeal the Second Amendment.
jordan holmes
Turn in your guns.
Turn in your guns.
alex jones
Boy, that's not authoritarian.
That's not outrageous.
That shouldn't make you mad.
People looking at you and telling you because you have a right, it's your fault?
jordan holmes
Yes.
alex jones
You didn't know that when somebody stabbed somebody with a knife, every knife owner is to blame.
You didn't know when somebody poisoned someone with antifreeze.
If you have antifreeze in your car, you're a murderer.
You didn't know that if a jihadi runs over somebody with a truck and it happens to be a Ford or Chevy, you got a Ford or Chevy.
How dare American Ford and Chevy owners.
I'm going to do a man on street.
unidentified
I'm going to go out in parking lots.
alex jones
And I'm going to approach people like CNN bullies people.
And I'm going to say, sir, ma 'am, what in the hell are you doing?
You are driving a Mercedes.
Did you know a Mercedes truck was used just last year in Berlin to run over a bunch of people?
And again, months before that at a Christmas event.
What are you doing driving this killing machine?
They'll be like, well, I'm not associated with that.
I didn't do that with the truck.
Does it matter?
You have this deadly assault vehicle that killed hundreds of people in Nice.
Find out the model of the truck in Nice.
unidentified
Maybe you should be more aware of your deadly vehicles.
alex jones
I'm going to get in people's faces.
I'm going to say, what in the world are you doing driving a brand vehicle that was associated with running over 270-something people and killing over 180?
dan friesen
So real quick, in Nice...
434 people were injured, so it's actually way more than he said, and 87 people died, including the driver of the car, so it's way lower than what he was saying.
He has no grasp on, actually, the real world of what he's talking about.
It's a lot.
No, don't get me wrong, I'm not minimizing it, I'm just saying he doesn't know what he's talking about.
But further, I would posit that if there was going to be this field piece, and let's say, let's make it...
Like, sort of an analog of the gun control argument that's going on.
Let's imagine that there's a car that's specifically designed only for killing people.
Right?
jordan holmes
Like the DeLorean.
Or the Pinto.
dan friesen
Or a monster truck.
jordan holmes
Right.
dan friesen
And Alex was going out and being like, hey, should the Destroyer 5000 be allowed on roads?
And people were like, no, and it's not.
You know?
This logic is so fucking stupid, because on one level, everyone who drives a car is licensed, and if they're not, they are committing a crime that they can get in trouble for, which is kind of part of what people would like to see for guns.
And then secondarily, the restrictions that people want to see on guns are things that are like, oh, this gun has no legitimate real purpose outside of killing people.
And if there was a car that was like that, you even humorously brought up a Pinto.
They got rid of that.
jordan holmes
Got rid of it real quick.
dan friesen
So that logic doesn't even track.
jordan holmes
Oh, and even then, the companies themselves tried to suppress the information that it was designed in such a way as that people would die immediately.
dan friesen
Because all business does that.
So anyway, Alex is just...
jordan holmes
No, that's nonsense.
dan friesen
But that's a hilarious idea.
jordan holmes
It's one of those...
dan friesen
I can't wait for that field piece though.
jordan holmes
It's one of those arguments that makes sense if you never think.
If you never think critically about it.
dan friesen
Totally.
In the same way that earlier we were talking about the, or maybe it was on the last episode, where we were talking about the study that's like 18% of millennials go to church, 41% of Generation Z go to church.
jordan holmes
Makes perfect sense if you never think about it critically for a moment.
dan friesen
If you don't ask any questions about why is that the case, oh, it's pretty obvious why that's the case.
jordan holmes
Right.
dan friesen
And the same thing is true of this.
Just go to the second step and you realize this...
Logic does not work.
Like, if, if, if, yes, if the conversation that people were having, which, I understand why they might have it, but I don't think it's what's going on.
The idea that, like, people should not be allowed to have guns, period.
If that was the conversation that was going on, I'd be much more sympathetic to Alex's view.
In the sense of, like, I get it in terms of gun ownership for, like, a rifle.
That you want to hunt with.
Or a handgun that you deal with responsibly and have locked up in a case and what have you.
Those sorts of things, if people were saying no one can own any of these, I'd get it.
unidentified
I'd kind of still be on the side of, you shouldn't have them.
dan friesen
But I would be sympathetic and much more engaged with the argument.
But because the argument is about...
Well, and I have called for complete disarmament, period.
jordan holmes
But if...
Now who's a utopian?
If we classify...
Good point.
All right.
All right, Dan.
dan friesen
No, that would work perfectly in a utopian world.
jordan holmes
I would love that.
I'm saying more like, okay, if guns were only recreational.
dan friesen
Yeah.
jordan holmes
If guns were for hunting.
If guns were only recreational.
dan friesen
Like when we talked about you could go to this place and shoot and they have their guns and you get to have your enjoyment there.
unidentified
Yeah, yeah.
jordan holmes
You rent one.
dan friesen
Or some sort of wildlife refuge that has animals for hunting.
jordan holmes
Yeah.
Like controlled fishing.
dan friesen
Or bowling where there's balls there for you to use.
Yeah, yeah.
jordan holmes
I'm totally fine with that.
dan friesen
Now granted, even that analogy doesn't quite work because a lot of...
A lot of people have their own ball.
jordan holmes
But you can't murder people with a ball.
Yeah, you could.
Okay, that's a good point.
dan friesen
It'd be harder.
jordan holmes
But if you get murdered with a bowling ball, you're a little bit at fault as well.
dan friesen
Or you're living in a cartoon.
Someone has dropped it from the sixth floor.
unidentified
Yeah, yeah.
jordan holmes
You weren't correctly Mr. Magoo-ing it through all of this madness.
dan friesen
So anyway, all this is to say that I love that Alex is like, I have got an idea.
I am going to make this video and it's going to dispel all of this shit.
You have like four or five different logical problems with what you're trying to espouse.
But, like, we've gotten to the end of this.
jordan holmes
You just explained conservatism.
You have four or five different logical problems with which you spouse.
dan friesen
So we've gotten to the end of this.
We have one more clip.
Okay.
jordan holmes
So I assume this podcast is going to last another 45 minutes.
dan friesen
Give or take.
jordan holmes
And we're going to discuss whether or not reality is valid.
dan friesen
I would like to talk about the Gambino family.
I want to talk about...
jordan holmes
Where does this come from?
dan friesen
I want to talk about Skullduggery.
jordan holmes
All right.
unidentified
Excellent.
dan friesen
I want to talk about Carlton Fisk.
jordan holmes
Okay.
dan friesen
Other rappers.
jordan holmes
All right.
Here we go.
dan friesen
Other No Limit rappers.
Remember, I want to talk about the 504 boys.
I want to talk about TRU.
jordan holmes
Let's bring in Nails, why not?
Let's just throw it all in there.
dan friesen
I want to talk about the Hot Boys.
Let's bring in Cash Money.
I want to talk about Chopper City and the Ghetto.
One of the best albums by BG.
Had the song Bling Bling on it that everyone seemed to love back in 1997.
jordan holmes
Your taste for hip-hop seems really stuck in a...
Specific time period.
dan friesen
These aren't my tastes.
It's just things I know from that time.
Listen, I subscribe to the holy triumvirate of Dirty South, especially Louisiana and Memphis style hip-hop stuff that was really famous back when I was 12. And disappeared for...
Almost immediately.
jordan holmes
For no reason.
No one can think of any reason for why I disappeared.
dan friesen
Cash Money survived.
jordan holmes
Yes, he did.
dan friesen
And No Limit survived on very bad legs.
jordan holmes
See, 45 more minutes of this book.
dan friesen
It's the two of them in hypnotized minds.
jordan holmes
Yes.
dan friesen
Including like 3-6 Mafia, Lil White, those assholes.
jordan holmes
Right.
dan friesen
Project Pat, those guys.
That's what I came up on.
I did like other stuff like Tribe Called Quest and Brand Nubian.
I liked a lot of other stuff too.
jordan holmes
The Soulquarian movement, of course.
dan friesen
Sure.
jordan holmes
Yeah, who doesn't love that?
dan friesen
But there was a lot of, like, I got deep into No Limit and Cash Money and Hypnotized Minds, and I will not apologize for it.
jordan holmes
Nobody's asking you to apologize for it.
dan friesen
You sounded like you were trying to...
jordan holmes
I wasn't trying to...
You always take...
Such a defensive stance whenever you say that you love this music.
Like, any response to you being like, No Limit was the best!
dan friesen
I didn't say that.
jordan holmes
You're kind of making that feel.
dan friesen
If you want to take my Mr. Servant CD, you will pry it from my cold, dead hands.
jordan holmes
Alright.
dan friesen
Anyway, back on track.
Alex, on the 30th here...
We've heard him.
jordan holmes
Yes, the only podcast that will get you a sober and serious gun control debate directly to is no limit as good as Dan thinks it is.
dan friesen
See, even that I've got to push back on.
jordan holmes
See?
See?
This is what I'm saying!
dan friesen
You're misrepresenting my feelings on it.
I don't think it's good.
I don't think it's good.
I just listened to it when I was 12. I just know it.
I don't like it.
Although there are a few songs that are pretty good.
jordan holmes
God damn it!
dan friesen
C-Murder's talented as hell.
unidentified
That's the Alex Jones ad pivot of hip-hop for you.
dan friesen
If C-Murder hadn't committed murder, he'd probably still be relevant.
He was very talented.
He was very talented.
jordan holmes
I'm going to go with...
No.
dan friesen
If you go listen to Life and Death or Bossolini, some of those early albums, he's very, very talented.
He has a smooth flow that also can pick up.
He's also very creative.
Go fuck yourself.
unidentified
Anyway, on the 30th of March.
Fuck you!
dan friesen
On the 30th.
jordan holmes
Yes.
dan friesen
Alex Jones.
jordan holmes
By the way.
dan friesen
Good to be back.
Good to have you.
I miss you so much.
jordan holmes
I love you so much.
unidentified
I love you too.
dan friesen
On the 30th, Alex started the show by talking about how many abortions he's had.
jordan holmes
Yes, yes!
dan friesen
Ten!
jordan holmes
And astonishing about.
dan friesen
And I didn't even bring this up.
He immediately fakes a phone call and plays like three special reports.
Like, the show just is like...
I don't know.
Maybe it was a real phone call.
Who knows?
But he gets off air and they just play a bunch of anti...
jordan holmes
His lawyer just called and said, You fucked!
dan friesen
They play a bunch of anti-abortion special reports for like the next 20 minutes of the show.
And then he has white supremacist and white nationalist Katie Hopkins on.
unidentified
Right.
dan friesen
And all this.
jordan holmes
Who we shall never discuss again.
dan friesen
No.
And then towards the end of the show, he's like...
I had a lot of clips I meant to get to.
jordan holmes
Of course.
Of course.
He didn't get to any of them.
None of them.
dan friesen
None of them.
And so he says this.
This just tickles me.
alex jones
I don't want to say I dropped the ball today because I got distracted by a bunch of stuff going on behind the scenes.
But man, I should have got to all these clips.
unidentified
Yeah.
dan friesen
That's one of those like, yeah, you kind of dropped the ball.
jordan holmes
Yeah, you pretty much dropped the ball.
dan friesen
So Alex Jones is a big old pile of...
Bullshit.
unidentified
Yep.
dan friesen
Bunch of asshole.
Nonsense.
Anyway, you can find us at knowledgefight.com.
jordan holmes
Yeah, you can follow us on Twitter.
It's at knowledge underscore fight.
dan friesen
You can also find us at bossaliniwasunderrated.com.
I'm going to buy it.
jordan holmes
Go to fillyourhand.com.
You'll be right at knowledgefight as well.
dan friesen
That's right.
You can also find us on Facebook.
jordan holmes
Yes, you can.
Go to iTunes, leave a review, do the whole goddamn shebang.
If you know any advertisers, Send them our way.
We will do it for less than your nearest competitor.
dan friesen
Also, if No Limit Records still exists and I'm unaware of it, we're ready to do an ad.
jordan holmes
We will.
dan friesen
We'll do an ad.
jordan holmes
Goddamn if Dan won't do a lot of ads for four?
dan friesen
I'm a soldier.
unidentified
Four?
jordan holmes
Five bucks?
dan friesen
I'm a soldier.
N-O-L-I-M-I-T-S-E-R-I-V.
Respect the colonel.
unidentified
Yep, yep.
dan friesen
Oh, man.
You know what I loved about No Limit?
unidentified
The fact that they wrapped up a show really well?
dan friesen
Well, I'll say this before we close this out.
I loved that they had a fake military hierarchy that they all, for no reason, subscribed to.
jordan holmes
That was strange.
dan friesen
Well, because the tank was their logo, all of a sudden, everyone just decided, here's my rank.
jordan holmes
Groupthink.
dan friesen
Like, Mr. Servon.
Always referred to himself as a colonel.
Across the board, always referred to him as a colonel.
jordan holmes
Cult ideology often involves groupthink, wherein everybody just buys into the same concept, and nobody's entirely sure why, other than this weird peer pressure.
dan friesen
Dude, that's bullshit.
They weren't culty at all.
jordan holmes
A little bit?
dan friesen
No, they weren't, because after...
jordan holmes
Everybody who's got a rank has a little bit of cult in it.
dan friesen
After a couple of albums, fucking fiend.
Mr. Servon, Snoop, they all left.
They all left and did albums on other record labels.
Silk the Shocker, I'm not sure what he's up to these days.
jordan holmes
I'm really mad that you keep calling him Silk the Shocker.
dan friesen
It's an honorific.
I respect him as a man.
jordan holmes
I really wish you didn't do that.
dan friesen
He grew up.
He also did a great song with Trina.
I don't know if you remember Trina, the baddest bitch from Slip and Slide Records.
A little bit further south.
jordan holmes
Now we're in Florida.
Now we're getting crazy.
dan friesen
Now we're getting wild.
We're talking about Trick Daddy and his crew.
jordan holmes
Look, I'm following you very well, but this is too much.
dan friesen
Slip and Slide.
Take her to the house.
Anyway, guys, this has been fun.
Jordan, I'd like you to choose someone from our cadre of weirdos today to tell to fuck themselves.
jordan holmes
You know I know!
You know I know you know what I...
dan friesen
If it's Master P, I'm going to throw this microphone at you.
jordan holmes
It's too easy.
I was going to say it.
It's too easy.
It's too easy.
dan friesen
Yeah, this show would be over if you said that.
Actually, Master P is probably a really exploitative dude.
If you look at his business model from when he started, there were a bunch of really talented dudes back in 1993.
jordan holmes
So I'll tell you who should go fuck themselves.
unidentified
No, no, no.
dan friesen
I'm trying to rationalize that maybe Master P deserves it.
jordan holmes
I realize you're trying to rationalize.
I'm trying to wrap it up.
dan friesen
There were a bunch of guys who probably deserved a lot more money than they got.
