Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Radio Renaissance.
I'm your host, Jared Taylor, with American Renaissance.
And with me is my indispensable co-host, Paul Kersey.
And this is just two days after Christmas, December 27th, Anno Domini, 2023.
And I hope all of our listeners all around the world had a wonderful Christmas, and I hope you did too, Mr. Kersey.
Well, Mr. Taylor, I had a fantastic Christmas.
I hope all of our listeners around the world, and particularly in the United States, also enjoyed their Christmas with their family.
And, if I may say to our Canadian and British friends, hope you had a great boxing day as well.
Indeed, indeed.
Well, let's get right to our program.
We've got so much to talk about.
As usual, we'll begin with comments.
We have a listener who writes in to say, my family and I just made a trip to Illinois for Christmas.
We landed in Chicago and we were greeted with what looked like a makeshift camp at the baggage pickup area.
We quickly learned that these were illegal immigrants flown in from Texas.
Beds and people everywhere.
The smell was awful.
I expected to see people mostly from south of the border.
However, it was a mix from what appeared to be people from all around the world.
Indians, Africans, etc., etc.
Also, they didn't appear to be in bad shape at all.
They were all checking out their smartphones.
But apparently they were giving off an awful stench.
Imagine that!
You go, you fly into some place, you go to the baggage pickup, and the place is just crowded with boat people, or plane people, or illegal immigrants.
Wow, what a surprise.
But that's Christmas for you these days in the United States of America.
Now, Mr. Kersey, we don't usually read out this kind of comment.
But because it was a message that came in on Christmas Day, I thought we would make an exception for this person.
He actually included his name, but in our usual practice is not to include names.
He writes in to say, hey racists, go drink some bleach, stick your head in a microwave oven, fall down a flight of stairs, and effing die.
And then it looks like about seven exclamation marks.
You f-ing pieces of s should know that your days are numbered.
White folks don't care for you f-way either.
Caring people don't give two f's about you.
So yeah, f-ing kill yourselves already.
Already.
Post it online.
A lot of people want to watch you f-ing die.
So that was our Christmas message from a listener.
Ah, so, as I say, we don't use it.
We get these from time to time, but this was such an ironic Christmas message that I thought I would unbosom this little message from someone who's clearly not a fan.
Now, this is an interesting question.
This whole confusing world that Jews find themselves in, and it turns out That Abe Foxman and David Harris, they are the former heads of the Anti-Defamation League in the American Jewish Committee.
They have decided that DEI is a bad thing and ought to be dumped.
What do you know?
Welcome, welcome to reality, Abe Foxman and David Harris.
They've decided it's not so good for Jews.
Foxwood, who served as the Anti-Defamation League's national director for 28 years until 2015, says DEI cannot be fixed.
You're right.
It cannot be fixed.
He said part of the problem is DEI is based on a faulty premise that racism is a function of oppressed and oppressors, and that all white people are oppressors.
The result, says he, are bias, illiberalism, Reinforced, legitimized, and institutionalized anti-Semitism.
He added, well, you know, if it hadn't been institutionalizing anti-Semitism, it might be okay, but he says it's built a huge funded bureaucracy, which is today difficult to change or amend efforts by communal Jewish organizations to include The Jewish community, or soften its impact on anti-Semitism, have failed.
It cannot be fixed.
It needs to be scrapped.
Wait, wait, wait.
Hold on one second.
So, if anti-Semitism had been woven in this anti-white tapestry, is what you're saying, they'd be fine with DEI?
No, no, no.
If anti-Semitism were completely excluded from anti-whiteism, Correct.
Yes.
In other words, if Jews were considered the same as blacks, you know, eternal victims, so they've got to be boosted and pressed forward and petted and coddled and all that, but it's not happening.
That's what I was actually trying to say.
What I was trying to say is that had they been part of this Menagerie of oppressed groups.
That's right.
It would be OK.
That's what I was trying to state.
Exactly.
That's right.
They want to get in the monkey cage, too.
Let's see.
He says, but OK, what it needs to be scrapped and we need an implementation of our civil rights laws that are colorblind and apply equally to all.
What an idea.
What an idea, Abe.
Better late than never.
Now, David Harris, the longtime CEO of the American Jewish Committee, he echoed similar criticisms.
DEI has evolved into a mammoth, ideologically driven presence on many campuses, some of which have literally hundreds of staff.
Glad you noticed.
Accordingly, I don't believe that outside efforts, however well-intentioned, that just nibble around the edges or simply seek to add Jews to the DEI agenda, address the problem.
No, they don't.
DEI today poses a major challenge to the liberal understanding of American social aims, so the goal of rethinking it conceptually is far more urgent than trying to get along with it.
As I say, better late than never, fellas.
However, the organizations for which they used to work are doing exactly what they say they shouldn't do.
They're trying to better incorporate Jews into the DEI infrastructure.
As you say, join the menagerie of pets.
Sarah Kudin, American Jewish Committee's Director of Academic Affairs, said the group engages pretty regularly and partners with universities to work on education programs that can have the kinds of results we're looking for—more inclusion for Jewish students.
We tend not to take an overly divisive approach when it comes to DEIs.
It says, pointing to the AJC run trip that brings DEI university staff to Israel.
I guess they think, what dopes, they think showing up in Israel, which has got a per capita income about twice that of Portugal or Greece, it's going to convince them that Jews are oppressed victims.
They're going to go back to their colleges and say, wow, we really have to be so nice to these poor, oppressed, perpetual victim Jews.
Adam Newfield, Senior Vice President and Chief Impact Officer at the ADL, described a similar approach.
DEI can be applied in an anti-Semitic way.
But I think it can also be applied in a way that respects and brings light and makes people understand anti-Semitism.
Ah, fellas, you got to pick sides.
You know, you just got to choose sides.
But I guess it's interesting, the former bosses of these groups realized that DEI hadn't worked out so well for Jews.
But these people think, no, no, we can join the menagerie.
I like the way you put it.
Mr. Taylor, if I could, it's fascinating to think that the American Jewish Congress would do all of these Trips for DEI bureaucrats to Israel, and probably the first thing they think of is, this is a nation of colonizers.
Look at what they're doing to all these settlers.
I mean, really, isn't that where we're headed now?
Basically, the entire non-white world looks at the white world as illegitimate colonizers who have destroyed and Financially benefited off of the off of the blood and the tears and the sweat and the soil that doesn't belong to them And I think that's I think that in a way, you know, we've joked about this Joking is the wrong word.
We've talked about how Steve Saylor said in The question of the 21st century is, will Jews realize that DEI is anti-Semitic?
That they are looked at as white by this coalition of this menagerie of BIPOCs.
And that's where we are now.
And that's where we are.
Yeah.
It's a very confusing time for Jews.
And I hope some of them will become unconfused.
Wake up, fellas.
And this is sort of a similar situation here about DEI statements in universities.
Representative Dan Crenshaw, Republican of Texas, will introduce legislation Monday—that was actually this Monday—to promote institutions of higher—no, that can't be.
That would have been Christmas.
In any case, he's going to introduce this legislation to prohibit institutions of higher education from requiring students to write or endorse diversity, equity, and inclusion statements.
That's good.
The bill would amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to prevent universities across the country from receiving any federal funding if they compel students to compose or sign these oaths.
And as our listeners know, there are some places where if you want to be a student, if you want to apply, you've got to swear up and down on a stack of Bibles or Korans or the Bhagavad Gita or whatever it is you use that you will support DEI with every breath.
The recent explosion of campus anti-Semitism provided the impetus for the bill.
This guy hasn't figured it out at all.
Come on, Dan Crenshaw, it's anti-whitism.
He says, we can see the utter moral bankruptcy in higher education with the spread of anti-Semitism on college campuses.
Make no mistake, the DEI bureaucracy is directly responsible for a toxic campus culture that separates everyone into oppressor versus oppressed.
That's why I'm dropping I'm dropping, that means he's putting it on the floor, legislation to protect free thought.
Boy, it takes these people so long to wake up, but better late than never, Dan Crenshaw.
Now, Mr. Kersey, I think you have a couple of, there's similar stories in a way, there's this Minnesota prof that is all excited, and tell us about Melanie.
Well, I want to talk about Melanie, but before we do, I think it's important to point out, I think it's important to point out that yesterday, Was a ignominious Anniversary to me it's a day.
We should actually celebrate like the day that the naturalization act of 1790 was signed because this is a day that it was the largest mass execution in US history President Abraham Lincoln He was personally behind the hanging of 38 members of the Dakota tribe in Minnesota, who had engaged in a rapid number of attacks on white settlers there in Minnesota.
And to this day, this is one of the reasons why I think Lincoln will ultimately be canceled, Mr. Taylor, is because of this very act.
You're beginning to see more and more people talk about it.
Oh, yes.
Oh, yes.
Well, you know, the fact is, didn't they want to execute about 500?
And here's you got a war going on and he goes through the records of these trials one by one by one by one by one and he decides no no we're not gonna execute this guy but they executed what a total of 36 did you say?
39 people were executed and one received a last minute reprieve.
Uh, so it was only 38, uh, and on the morning of December 26, 1862, as you pointed out during a time period when there's a, when the, you know, when the war of Northern Aggression was not, uh, was not settled yet.
This is, this is getting ready to be 1863.
It was going to be the flashpoint year for what was going on.
President Lincoln took the time out, like you said, to review all of these cases and an estimate, an estimated crowd of 4,000 spectators.
On specially constructed mass hanging scaffold the Indians the these these Amerindians who had killed and attacked white settlers were were executed so with that in mind we come to the story that we're gonna talk about today a Minnesota professor has called to decolonize and dismantle the u.s.
Go as hard as possible a liberal arts professor at the University of Minnesota called for people to dismantle and decolonize America during a pro-palestinian event Earlier this month, excuse me real quick, earlier this month, University of Minnesota liberal arts professor Melanie Yazzie took the stage with several other speakers as part of an anti-capitalist Native American advocacy group, the Red Nation's Teach-In on Israel-Hamas War.
During the pro-Palestinian event, she made several controversial comments, including early on when she said she wanted a takeaway from the event to be that, quote, we're all indigenous people who came from other nations who are under occupation by the United States government, end quote.
All right.
And of course, the U.S.
Bank rules the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian land, Yazzie continued.
They're one in the same, really.
I wonder if Yazis ever actually had the opportunity to take a trip to Israel, courtesy of the AJC.
So it's our responsibility as people who are within the U.S.
to go as hard as possible to decolonize this place because That will reverberate all across the world, Yazi said.
It actually will.
It would liberate Western Europe, actually, from post-World War II U.S.
rule.
Anyways, NATO would collapse.
Anyways, because the U.S.
is the greatest predator empire that has ever existed.
Yazi said that she and her comrades, quote, want the U.S.
out of everywhere, including Palestine and Turtle Island, a name used by some Native American tribes To describe North America.
Mr. Taylor, I've never actually heard that before.
Had you?
You know, I had heard that years ago, but I had forgotten it.
It's good to be reminded.
Turtle Island, Mr. Kersey, and listeners all around the world, henceforth we refer to, is that in all of North America, I think?
Or maybe it's the North and South America.
Turtle Island.
It's all of, it just says North America.
That's going to be something that we'll have to investigate.
Or if some of our listeners We've got such astute and perceptive listeners who are sleuths.
If anyone wants to actually look up the history of that, go ahead and do that for us and you can send it to me at BecauseWeLiveHere at ProtonMail.com.
Once again, that email address is BecauseWeLiveHere at ProtonMail.com or you can go to Amran.com, A-M-R-E-N.com and find the Contact Us tab.
And we'd like to hear from you, your comments, your suggestions, and especially if we say something that is incorrect, which we sometimes do despite all of our efforts.
Instead, yes, we try to speak non-fiction, but sometimes we end up inadvertently speaking fiction.
And when that happens, let us know.
So, yes, yes indeed.
Turtle Island.
And we are located, in fact, in the state of Virginia.
On the continent of Turtle Island.
Well, she would go on to say that quote, and that goal is to dismantle the settler project of the United States for the freedom and future of all life on this planet.
It very much depends on that.
Of course, I'm probably not remiss to say that when she talks about the future of all life on this planet, Settlers and their progeny are not included white people need not apply to Have access to Turtle Island in the future Yazi also appeared to imply she saw the entire world change after the October 7th attacks by the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas on innocent Israel civilians and claimed that quote Palestine is the alternate alternative path for native nations in quote and
She would go on to say, it's a righteous struggle and it is so powerful that it has literally in 60 days changed the entire world.
The entire world has changed.
I knew at the moment that it happened that nothing, and I mean nothing for colonizers or for any of the good, humble people of the earth would ever be the same ever again.
And we need to lean into that.
Lean into that fact that colonizers are scared.
She said, laughing.
Lean into scaring them and making them feel uncomfortable.
You know, I wonder what her vision for Turtle Island would be.
I assume all white people gone.
No question about that.
All white people gone.
What about Asians?
What about blacks?
Are they allowed?
Are they honorary indigenous people?
Or have they all got to go too?
I'd be very curious to see what she has in mind.
Or maybe all Palestinians would be welcome.
But anyway, I suspect really she just wants all white people gone.
I mean, somebody's got to make sure that the electricity is delivered and the sewers work.
They might decide that they need, oh, a little bit of agricultural labor, they might let the Hispanics stay, but no doubt about it, all white people gone.
Yeah, a hundred percent.
Yazzie, who said she was also the co-host of the Red Nation podcast, read Power Hour, decried liberalism as BS and trash that was founded upon imperialism and colonialism.
All it knows is the language of violence, and when it doesn't use the language of violence, it uses the niceties, like Minnesota Nice, to cover that S-H-I-T up.
Enough.
Enough with investing our time with liberalism.
That is not resistance.
Resistance is the only thing, the only kind of death blows to colonialism and imperialism that has happened historically because indigenous people have resisted in the various places where the violence has touched down.
You know, she'd go on to say a bunch, but most importantly she would say this.
And to help lead that to be the tip of the spear here, all of liberation struggles and movements that seek a world of justice, equality, and peace that seek to dismantle the United States.
I hope you seek to dismantle the U.S.
She added to the applause from the audience.
She claimed that decolonization is the only thing that's going to save us as a species and the planet and said that people should just be on board with it.
No questions asked.
There you go.
Well, yeah, I'm just curious to know what her view, what her image of the future Turtle Island would be.
Well, let's see.
Now, I think you had another story about a Confederate monument that has been recruited to the service of the anti-Israel struggle.
There is, but you wanted to actually add one thing, I believe.
You looked up Miss Yazzie to find out her background, her racial background.
That's right, that's right.
You know, I thought she might be Palestinian, but it turns out she is an enrolled member of the Navajo tribe.
So, yes, she's got a distinct perspective on this, and now she's a professor at a university.
What's the place, where does she teach?
Oh gosh, you put me on the spot here.
She's... It's in Minnesota somewhere.
I should think so.
Waves the Navajo flag.
University of Minnesota liberal arts professor Melanie Yazzie.
So she actually teaches at the flagship university there.
I should think so.
Waves the Navajo flag.
I don't know what the Navajo flag looks like, but I guess it looks a whole lot like the
Palestinian flag these days for her.
Tell us about this Confederate monument.
I've actually seen this monument.
It's in Chatham County, Georgia.
A Confederate memorial in a Savannah Park was vandalized this weekend with a pro-Palestinian message.
Savannah police told WJCL that the Civil War memorial statue was found Sunday afternoon with red spray paint across the bottom.
Each of the four sides of the monument had different phrases spray painted on it, such as free Gaza, free Palestine and no Christmas in Bethlehem.
Oof.
The monument erected by the Savannah Ladies Memorial Association in 1875 was to honor Savannah's Confederate dead, the city's webpage said.
According to city officials, the memorial originally featured two statues but was changed in 1879 when officials enclosed the middle section and installed a Confederate soldier featured on top.
Each of the four sides of the monument had different phrases spray-painted on, such as, free Gaza, free Palestine, and no Christmas in Bethlehem.
The monument erected by the Savannah Ladies Memorial Association was to honor the Savannah's dead, like I said, repeating myself.
So, again, there are other war memorials that were desecrated across the country over the past five days, Mr. Taylor, with free Gaza and pro-Palestinian messages.
So, again, it wasn't just I mean, the Lincoln Memorial steps were vandalized in Washington, D.C.
That's right.
And, you know, it closed it closed the memorial.
So, well, well, you know, Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson, if they had been able to, they would have bombed Gaza, too, you know.
And that's why they have to be desecrated in this way.
All Confederates, you know, they would have just done their best to be settlers all around the world.
You know what, I guess they didn't attack the Thomas Jefferson Memorial there because, as famously in Minnesota, when Keith Ellison became the first Muslim rep, I believe that he got Jefferson's, oh gosh, Koran?
Am I getting that story correct?
I think you're right.
And he was sworn in on Jefferson's Koran.
So I guess that's the reason why they know not to go after TJ.
So he's safe.
Oh, he's not safe.
No white man is safe.
It's just a joke.
Well, let's see.
There's some interesting news from Missouri.
A Missouri school board has voted to drop elective courses in black history and black literature five months after it rescinded an anti-discrimination policy adopted in the aftermath of the ascent into heaven of George Floyd.
The Francis Howell School Board voted five to two to stop offering black history and black literature.
They had been offered at the district's three high schools since 2021, obviously introduced in order to atone for the death of St.
George.
A little over 100 students took the courses this semester in predominantly white suburban area of St.
Louis.
In July, the board revoked the anti-racism resolution that had been posted all around school buildings, and all those copies have been taken down.
Hurrah!
The resolution and course officings were targeted by five new members who have taken control of the board since being elected last year in April, and with the backing of a conservative political action committee called Francis Howell Families.
All seven board members are white.
So this is an example of white people organizing and saying, we do not want our children being brainwashed with this pro-black, anti-white foolishness.
They got themselves organized.
They had five new members put on the board.
They are now the majority.
The decision to drop the courses was met with protests outside the board meeting.
Several parents and students chanted, let them learn.
Yes, let them learn.
Inside, some speakers questioned the board's decision.
Board Vice President Randy Cook said, I do not object to teaching black history and black literature.
I do object to teaching black history and black literature through a social justice framework.
Now, he should have said anti-white framework.
Social justice sounds fine, but that is one of those phrases that's been hijacked by people who hate America and hate us.
He says, I do not believe it is the public school's responsibility to teach social justice and activism.
Now, activism is one thing.
Social justice, I'm all for social justice.
But, again, that's one of those misused phrases.
Now, there's an interesting aspect, a little detail, Mr. Kersey.
Francis Howell is among Missouri's largest school districts, with 16,600 students, only 7.7% of whom are black.
There must be very few school districts that size with so few blacks.
The county's dramatic growth has coincided with the equally dramatic population decline in next door St.
Louis City itself.
In 1960, St.
Louis had 750,000 residents and St.
Charles County next door had 53,000.
residents and St. Charles County next door had 53,000 so that 750,000 to 53,000. Now St.
Louis' population is down to under 300,000.
It has lost 450,000 people, and the remaining 293,000 in St.
Louis are about 50% black, 50% white.
50,000 people and the remaining 293,000 in St. Louis are about 50% black, 50% white.
St.
St. Charles County next door has grown from 53,000 to 415,000.
6% of whom are black.
It's really simple.
White people have abandoned St.
Louis, the city their ancestors created, because it's just untenable to live in these places because of the destruction of Freedom Association via Shelley v. Kramer, which of course, Shelley v. Kramer, you can go to the Shelley House in St.
Louis.
It's a nationally registered site.
And that's the reason why all these counties continually have to be remade.
St.
Louis has been rebuilt.
I mean, the same thing could be said, Mr. Taylor, we've talked about this ad nauseum, every major city across the country has been rebuilt in a new suburb.
That's correct.
This happens every 10 to 15 years in Atlanta, in Birmingham, in Charlotte, in Nashville, in Memphis, in New Orleans, in Baltimore, in Chicago.
That's right, that's right.
White people flee and what used to be wonderful, architecturally splendid, culturally vibrant in the proper sense, all of these cities become savagely destroyed and we have to start over again.
No, it's a horrible, horrible tragedy.
We pay the price every day, every year, repeated over and over.
Now here's a story which I could title as Merry Christmas and Welcome to America.
Two teenage girls visiting from South America, they were from Ecuador I believe, were attacked and stabbed while having lunch in the dining concourse of Grand Central Station.
Happened on Christmas morning.
The victims, age 14 and age 16, were touring the city with their parents, And they had stopped for an early lunch when a suspect identified as 36-year-old Stephen Hutcherson told the girls, I want all white people dead, and proceeded to stab them.
As it turns out, he had turned up at the restaurant and said he wanted to sit at a table but wasn't going to order anything.
And the restaurant said, no, you can't do that.
This is not Starbucks.
I'm sure they didn't say that.
But in any case, when Hutchison complained, he showed up later and he pointed the table and there this family was sitting and they had ordered and they weren't eating anything yet.
He said he wanted to sit next to them.
He added, I want to sit next to the honkies.
And they said, no, no, you can't do that.
So that's when he pulled his knife out, rushed over and stabbed them both.
He was arrested in under a minute as MTA police swooped in.
One of the girls stabbed in the thigh, other stabbed in the back, just nicking her lung.
However, they were released from the hospital later that day and are reported to be okay.
Now, moving on to the perpetrator himself, Hutcherson, who wants to kill all white people.
He's got a big job on his hands.
There's still a few of us left, Mr. Hutcherson.
He has an extensive criminal record and has been charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and endangering the welfare of a child.
And he was arrested twice in just the last six months for intimidating people while brandishing a knife.
He pleaded guilty to both And let's see for his then do it once in July, he got a 15 day old jail sentence for brandishing a knife and intimidating someone 15 days.
And for the other time of brandishing a knife and threatening to kill somebody.
He was just he got a conditional discharge, whatever that means, but he was out on the loose.
He was also arrested on October 2nd of this year for smashing a display case at the Bergdorf Goodmore department store in Manhattan, causing $81,000 in damage.
Guess what his penalty for that was?
Well, he actually got time in the big house.
He got 15 whole days.
He got three hops in a cot for 15 days for $81,000 in damage.
Imagine how startling that would be.
You're walking around, doing a little Christmas shopping, and this guy comes in, smashes the place up.
Wow.
Well, he was put out of circulation for a whole 15 days.
A law enforcement source said, with respect to Mr. Hutchinson, DAs are chopping all the charges down.
Judges are letting them go.
Now we have two teenagers who were stabbed.
I'm sure they will go home to Ecuador full of happy memories of the United States.
But I hope it'll make big news in Ecuador and fewer Ecuadorians will decide to make the trek north.
Have we, have they released, obviously they've released a photo of the black individual, the career criminal.
Yes.
He's black.
He is black.
Yeah, we've not seen images yet of the Ecuadorians.
I feel sure they were probably Criollos, people who are overwhelmingly white, maybe 100% white.
He certainly thought they were white.
And as I say, when push comes to shove, when they start waving their knives around, they're not going to make a distinction between Catholics and Protestants, between Jews and Gentiles.
They are going to stick their knives in the people they think are white.
Wake up, ADL!
So let's see.
We have another story from south of the border.
This is a better story.
The new administration of President Javier Millet.
This is a really unusual guy.
I wish I'd taken the time to find out more about him, but he's got all kinds of new ideas for Argentina, which has been ruled by leftists for so long.
He's a bit of a libertarian.
He's going to ban inclusive language in the Argentine Armed Forces.
His defense minister, Luis Petri, says there is a military language that has been complied with, and there have been changes in
the rule of discipline, normal language that is abnormal language that is degrading and
making the armed forces regress.
Because what they do is they are trying to change the grammar of Spanish.
In Spanish speaking countries, leftists are trying to replace the O and A endings.
O would be Latino, that would be a male Latino.
A Latina, that is a female.
A lot of things have this O and A ending.
In the United States, you've come up with this crazy idea of sticking an X on the end,
latinx.
No Hispanics like that.
But there are all other words that end in O and A. What they're going to do is, uh,
engineer what they call gender neutrality, so as to include all sexes
and all intersexes and non-sexes and non-binary people, by replacing the O
or the A with an E at the end. So they would be Latine. Latine.
So they say the This is crazy.
This is weakening the armed forces.
And I'm sure it's just a symptom of all other crazy anti-military things they've been doing.
And before he became Argentina's defense minister, this guy had calls to prohibit the use of inclusive language in schools.
The purpose of school is to teach and learn, not to indoctrinate, says he.
I'd be curious to know just how widespread this crazy language demolition has spread in Latin American countries.
You usually think of south of the border, at least when it comes to this sexual craziness.
They're a little bit better off than we are, but maybe not.
Now, Mr. Kersey, I think you have a story about how we are consciously or unconsciously shortening the lives of black people.
Yeah, a study reveals a staggering toll of being black in America.
1.6 million excess deaths over 22 years.
Wow.
In other words, we should have 1.6 million more black people here.
Walking the earth, walking the streets, and byways of Turtle Island.
Yeah.
Oh my goodness.
I don't think we're ever going to let that down, are we?
No, no, I like Turtle Island.
Jesus.
Okay.
Research has long shown that black people live sicker lives and die younger than white people.
Again, I should say that this is from KF Health News.
The author's bio is Liz Zabo.
So again, research has long shown that black people live sicker lives and die younger than white people, which of course is all the fault of white people and not individual health choices that blacks make collectively.
Now a new study published today in JAMA cast the nation's racial inequities in stark relief, finding that the higher mortality rate among black Americans Resulted in 1.63 million excess deaths relative to white Americans over more than two decades.
Your fault.
My fault.
We did it to them.
You're absolutely right.
That's the great thing about being black.
Nothing is ever your fault.
It's always our fault.
And by the way, JAMA, the Journal of American Medical Association, that used to be a very highly regarded and prestigious publication.
We've actually talked about JAMA a number of times post-George Floyd, and you've lamented the decline in scholarship and attention to actual science as opposed to this magical thinking, this almost voodoo that has come over the whole industry, making it as if every problem that black individuals collectively face is due to this This white privilege that is pervasive throughout the entire United—throughout all of Turtle Island!
Sorry, I'm not calling it the U.S.
anymore, it's Turtle Island.
Very good.
Because so many black people die young with many young lot with many years of life ahead of them their highest
mortality rate from 1999 to 2020 resulted in a cumulative loss of more than
80 million years of life compared to the white population The study showed 80 million years of life.
Holy cow.
Yeah.
Although the, although the nations, although the nation made progress, um, excuse me, although the nation made progress in closing the gap between white and black mortality rates, uh, from 1991 to 2011.
That advance stalled from 2011 to 2019.
In 2020, the enormous number of deaths from COVID-19, which hit Black Americans particularly hard, the article states, erased two decades of progress.
Authors of the study described it as a call to action to improve the health of Black Americans whose early deaths are fueled by higher rates of heart disease, cancer, and infant mortality.
all of course due to white racism, white privilege, shade equivalent.
Let's see here.
Higher mortality rates among black people have less to do with genetics than with the country's long history of discrimination, which has undermined educational housing and job opportunities for generations of black people, said Clyde Yancy, an author of the study and chief of cardiology at Northwestern's At Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.
Well, that's the correct answer to give in the post-George Floyd era, Mr. Taylor.
Well, I mean, how can there be genetic differences?
Because race doesn't exist.
There cannot be genetic differences.
There cannot be behavioral differences.
It's our fault when they shoot each other, too, and that shortens their lives.
Yeah, black neighborhoods that were redlined.
I hadn't hit command F yet.
I use a Mac, and I did not check to see if redlining had been blamed yet, but here we go.
Black neighborhoods that were redlined in the 1930s, designated too high risk for mortgages and other investments.
remain poor and sicker today, Yancey said. Formally, redline zip codes also had
higher rates of COVID infection and death. It's very clear that we have an
uneven distribution of health, Yancey said. We're talking about the freedom to
Now, Mr. Taylor, I know you work out about an hour every day.
You watch what you eat.
You have a high-protein diet.
You take whey protein.
You take your vitamins.
You say your prayers.
Hey, you're telling him all my secrets!
Yeah, I've seen the video of you doing the Uncle Jared workout.
I've seen it in real life.
I've done it with you before.
It's one of the most painful moves you can do for your core.
Again, we're talking about the freedom to be healthy.
There is no freedom to be healthy.
It's a choice to be healthy.
And every day, individuals make choices that aggregate to be your overall picture of health.
It's not something you can just turn on and turn off.
You've got to have a consistent dedication to wanting to be healthy.
And unfortunately, genetics do play a part in an unhealthy aspect of an individual's
life.
But of course, we can't talk about that.
And it's not just genetics that go by race.
It's genetics that go by what you inherit from your parents.
from your ancestors. But anyways, that's obviously not something that...
Clyde Yancy, who again, the chief of cardiology at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.
To think that this guy has to regurgitate this DEI mindset, it's pretty disgusting and it's a harbinger for really bad things for the future of medicine.
Yes, yes it is.
Yes it is.
I mean, these people claim to follow the science In fact, they just turned their back on the science at every opportunity.
Well, just real quick, I'll read a couple more lines from here.
Let's see here.
In 2021, non-Hispanic white Americans had a life expectancy at birth of 76 hours.
I'm sorry.
I've read that wrong.
I'm sure that's what, uh, I'm sure that's what Yassie wants to do in Turtle Island.
It's, uh, is thankfully cleansed of white rule.
Uh, non-Hispanic white Americans in 2021 had a life expectancy at birth of 76 years, while non-Hispanic black Americans could expect to live only to 71.
Much of that disparity is explained by the fact that non-Hispanic black newborns are two and a half times as likely to die before their first birthdays as non-Hispanic whites.
Non-Hispanic black mothers are more than three times as likely as non-Hispanic white mothers to die from pregnancy-related complication.
Don't you have a video on this subject?
I do.
The number is tiny, tiny, tiny.
As I recall, maybe 500 black mothers die as opposed to maybe 500 white mothers and so on, on a per capita basis.
We're talking about tiny, tiny, tiny numbers, but we're supposed to just be wringing our hands.
And wearing sock cloth and ashes on account of this.
And just to finish up this story, black women with a college degree are more likely to die from pregnancy complications than white women without a high school diploma, although researchers can't fully explain this disparity.
Tania Brunch, a neonatal prenatal medicine fellow at Lurie Children's Hospital Chicago, Said it's possible that stress, including from systemic racism, takes a greater toll on the health of black mothers than previously recognized.
Death also creates ripples of grief throughout communities.
Researchers have found that every death leaves an average of nine people in mourning.
Black people shoulder a great burden of grief, which can undermine their mental.
I'm sorry, black people shoulder a great burden of a greater burden of grief, which can undermine their mental and physical health, said Kalia Johnson.
Chief of Pediatric Palliative Care at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Given the high mortality rates throughout the lifespan, black people are more likely than white people to be grieving the death of a close family member at any point in their lives.
Quote, we as black people all have some legacy of unjust, unwarranted loss and death that compounds with each new loss.
It affects not only how we move through the world, but how we live in relationship with others and how we endure future losses."
Boy, it's just a vicious cycle.
These white people, boy, we cause one death and it causes all this suffering, but what's that?
On average, each death causes an average of an average number of nine people to grieve It seems like a rather small number.
I'd like to think that more than nine people would be unhappy if I died, but maybe I'm overestimating.
Yeah, a few years ago, I've told you this story, one of my oldest friends in the world died in a hunting accident, just tragic, right before Christmas.
And on a Friday before Christmas, 700 people from across the country went to his funeral.
I mean, again, I think one of the most important things that really shows health, Mr. Taylor, if we could get on a Christmas message and a New Year message, is it's really good to be nice to people and to create and cultivate a sense of community and to reach out and be friendly to and have a relationship with your family and friends and keep those that matter close to you because, again, you never know what's going to happen.
You never know.
And one of the great things about Christmas was having the people I love the most in the whole world right here under my roof yet again.
That was an enormous part of the joy of the season.
Great.
Well, The Spectator, American Spectator, it's a conservative outfit.
It's got an article wondering about what the future holds for white people in America.
It says, what happens when the loathed white majority views itself as excluded and as a persecuted class?
America's about to find out.
White men are de facto being deprived of college admissions and job promotions.
Well, not just de facto, practically de jure these days.
They're being pushed out of polite society and have become the butt of every joke.
If they choose to fight back, numbers are on their side.
They have been inculcated with the idea of colorblind society, a melting pot.
And they, of course, white people are the only people who actually believe that.
Racism was anathema to most white people, save a few racist stragglers.
Now, Mr. Kersey, were you one of those stragglers?
The worst epithet that could be hurled at a white person was racist.
What happens when systemic suppression targets the majority?
The woke thought their racism would have no consequences.
And then they're going to point out that Jewish people, self-identified as a persecuted class, they've been overruled by other persecuted classes who have decided to label them as white and privileged.
White people starting to see themselves not as Americans, but as white Americans.
Well, this new belief system is catastrophic for social cohesion, says Spectator.
It ends in violence, says Spectator.
Well, gosh, I guess it's only when white people realize that they are a group with legitimate interests, that's when it ends in violence.
Now, the author of this Spectator article says, what should replace this nonsense?
Merit.
Objective standards.
Leveling the playing field.
Well, that's right.
We're going to teach all of these blacks and Hispanics and Asians that it's all going to be objective standards, levering the playing field.
I'm afraid, Mr. Kersey, that the toothpaste cannot be shoved back into the toothpaste tube.
But like so many conservatives, they've got this goofy idea that we're all going to hold hands, and eventually, when we sing Kumbaya, People other than white people are going to mean it.
Well, keep dreaming, spectator, but at least you've noticed.
At least you've noticed what's happening to white people, just like these Jewish organizations.
At least they've noticed that Jews are not protected by DEI.
Yeah, they will also be excluded from Turtle Island with the same speed and ferocity that us white people will be.
They sure will.
Wake up, fellas!
Now here is an interesting story.
Feeling backlash, some people can only whisper, I'm voting for Trump.
However, others are becoming louder and prouder.
Mark Fisher, a co-founder of a Black Lives Matter group in Rhode Island, made waves recently when he endorsed the red man.
I know I was going to pay a price for it, he said, but I felt like the benefit of doing it... You mean the orange man?
He said red man.
I did say the red man.
He's not... Yes.
President Trump is not Chief Wahoo.
He's... No, he's not chief... Orange man bad.
Yes.
In any case, I felt like the benefit of doing it far outweighed the cost.
Mr. Fitcher said he felt obliged to clear a path for those who think the way he does.
Since President Trump's surprise victory in 2016, black support has more than tripled.
When you go from practically nothing, you can easily triple, now exceeding 20% in some surveys.
Polling suggests black people and other minorities who once spurned President Trump now appear willing to give his candidacy a fresh look, a trend that could help spell the difference between victory and defeat.
People are noticing the justice system's seemingly unjust treatment of President Trump, a fate many black people have experienced.
They're saying to themselves, no, wait a minute, this looks very familiar, says Mr. Fisher.
Come on.
Well, if that's really what it takes to vote for Trump, I guess that's one thing.
But yeah, gosh, this poor guy is being brutalized by the legal system just like all those black people who are in jail and don't deserve to be there, which is about 99% of them, right?
Now, black people also lament that authorities are letting violent crime and illegal immigrants run amok.
True.
While they are targeting President Trump for non-violent offenses.
Well, if they're noticing that, fine.
And so having prominent black people, including musicians, expressing pro-Trump opinions has emboldened others.
And President Trump thanked Mr. Fisher with a surprise phone call and a dinner invitation.
Gee, Mr. Kersey, if I endorsed him, would I get an invitation for dinner?
Of course, I cannot endorse him because I run a non-profit, but if I were to do so... In any case, a woman who goes by the name of Michaela Rose, she said she initially fell into the propaganda of Trump being bad.
I was like, man, if everyone hates Trump, he must be a bad guy.
She began following President Trump's Twitter account and listening to his public speeches, and after watching one of those speeches, She would see leftists and news media outlets, open quote, completely like Twistie's words.
Good for her.
People are waking up.
Ms.
Rose says she thinks other black people have started similarly to inform themselves.
Still, black Trump supporters can expect to be ostracized.
Ms.
Rose says she has been.
She's lost many of her black friends.
She's been called a coon, an Uncle Tom, and the N-word.
Now guess who are the worst?
She says the worst opposition comes from white liberals.
She says they're so condescending.
White people ask her, how could you vote for someone who hates you?
You know he hates you, right?
And they tell her, you're so dumb you don't know any better.
All those white liberals.
They really are consistent, aren't they?
That's what I tell white people when they don't vote for Trump.
Good for you.
And let's see, by the time Mr. Trump won the presidency, he got 6% of the black vote.
When he ran for re-election, he got 12%.
He doubled his score.
And apparently this summer, a Harris poll that got a lot of attention predicted that he could get 25%.
So he's doubling his score at every hop.
So we will see.
We will see.
Blacks for Trump.
We'll see if they swing the election his way. So he'll be beholden to blacks just like every just all of like the
Democrats Well again, we aren't endorsing we aren't endorsing
candidates but we know from most of the exit polls from 2020 is that
the share of non college-educated white the white vote the non college-educated white vote in the
states that matter in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin Along with Georgia and Arizona for some reason dropped by
seven to eight percent from 2016 to 2020 and as Ann Coulter said it's really not
hard guys you increase the white share of the vote, especially the
The non college-educated white share of the vote you are gonna win and again not endorsing candidates
but I did see a very interesting stat that something like
80% of hunters and in Wisconsin are not registered to vote and
And it's just, again, just low-hanging fruit out there.
Well, I know, I know.
I remember I was at Cabela's in the gun department.
And this was just after the Democrats had swept the statehouse in Virginia.
And I was recognized by one of the salesmen, and they all came clustering around to congratulate me and shake my hand.
And they were complaining about the new anti-gun laws that were about to be passed.
And I said, well, did any of you vote?
And there were three or four of them.
They said, no, we didn't vote.
Come on, fellas, if you care about gun rights, why don't you vote?
That is a big secret.
Anyway, boy, we're running right out of time.
So got it.
Well, you have a story about a high school club just for blacks, as I understand it.
Yeah, Gainesville, Florida, the home of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
Emails reaffirmed Gainesville High School Club directly targeted black male students.
Club Gain has been the subject of a parental complaint and a completed investigation has not yet been released after approximately 30 black male students were chosen to be part of the discreet club to better prepare them for graduation while also giving statistics about how they are less likely to succeed.
In one email released to the Gainesville Sun, Gainesville High School principal Daniel Ferguson wrote explicitly to a parent that quote, underrepresented minority Ninth grade males were invited to attend the first club game meeting.
The representations for the club provided to The Sun all contained statistics about black males, including that five out of 10 black males in their 20s with diplomas are jobless and 70% of black male dropouts in their 20s are unemployed.
The Sun made the initial request for the emails three months ago and was charged a fee to review them.
The emails, however, were withheld until the completion of the investigation, though not factored into the results.
Basically, the Club G.A.I.N., the Gainesville Sun, reported in September that GHS told a group of predominantly black males in late August to skip their lunch and attend the first cohort of Club G.A.I.N., an acronym that is simply abbreviated for Gainesville.
Those who run the program or were involved in launching initially described it as a new club, a branch, a pre-collegiate.
A similar assembly occurred in Flagler County, also in late August, that results in the school principal and teacher resigning, as well as the superintendent apologizing after parents express outrage.
The situation has been handled almost entirely different.
Again, they apologize for having to try to do this to show these statistics and stats and to actually have a club dedicated.
So again, in Flagler County, the superintendent and the principal and teacher all had to resign over what happened.
So we'll see what happens in Gainesville.
But I mean, again, these stats, I guess I guess in a world where if we live where we're told by the chief cardiologist at Northwestern Hospital that But black health is based on structural inequality and white people, I guess the fact that black males without diplomas aren't employed is also the fault of white people.
Well, but they're actually trying to give them a boost.
They're trying to draw them apart and say, look, fellas, pull up your pants.
Tie your shoes.
Brush your teeth.
Yes.
Okay, now, we had a question about the American Society of Magical Negroes.
That's the name of a movie that's coming out.
And we didn't know much about it.
So, I now know something about it.
It is being brought out by something called Focus Features.
It's described on its website as a fresh satirical comedy about a young man, Aaron, Who is recruited into a secret society of magical black people who dedicate their lives to a cause of utmost importance, making white people's lives easier.
A magical Negro is a black character who appears in a plot solely to help a white character and then vanishes.
Hmm.
So, well, Mr. Kersey, that explains all those wonderful black people who suddenly appear throughout my life and bail me out.
I never knew that they were magical Negroes.
The trailer begins with the black protagonist, Aaron, who is described as uncomfortable as he walks through a room full of white people.
He is recruited to the secret society of African-American wizards.
His tutor, Roger, explains that the premise of the society is to protect white people from unhappiness in order to prevent them from doing harm to black people.
What's the most dangerous animal on the planet, his mentor asks him.
Sharks, says Aaron.
Wrong, says his mentor.
White people.
When they feel uncomfortable, white people feeling angry precedes a lot of bad stuff for us.
That's why we fight white discomfort and unhappiness every day.
Because the happier they are, the safer we are.
So clearly it looks like their kindness to white people has nothing to do about any kind of generosity.
It's a way of placating savage white people, making them happy so they won't lash out at black people.
It's a kind of enlightened selfishness.
So, the characters in the American Society of Magical Negroes, they are able to see a magical barometer-like device that measures the discomfort or the unhappiness of white people.
And it's measured in white tears.
So apparently they have this special capacity.
They look around and they see, uh-oh, uh-oh, here's a white guy.
His white tears level is getting high.
I better do something awfully nice for this white person.
Well, you know, Mr. Kersey, I'm wondering if there's ever going to be a movie about non-magical Negroes, the ones who show up unexpectedly and rob you or rape you or shoot you.
I think they are a little bit more common than these magical Negroes whose purpose in life is to make you happy and make your life better.
But this is going to be, I'm sure, a very, very popular movie.
Well, gosh, we have just a little bit of time left.
Do we have time?
Let's see.
Where's a nice short story that we can get through here?
Oh, yes, we should talk about reparations.
I'm sure you know New York State's one step closer to paying reparations.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul signed a bill that gives a commission power to consider giving reparations to blacks.
Now, Mr. Kersey, has there ever been a commission set up by a government body that after having considered whether reparations should be
a good idea, say, nah, terrible idea, we're not going to do it. Has that
ever happened?
No, no, no. It's basically, once the commission set up, then the question becomes how many zeros will be assigned
to the check.
Exactly, exactly.
This is just so hilarious.
To consider giving reparations it back.
Oh well.
So in any case, this is the second state after California that's going marching down this absolutely crazy road.
And, as they say, not only including the history of slavery, which was outlawed in New York in 1827, but also slavery's subsequent effects on housing discrimination, bias, policing, income inequality, mass incarceration of African Americans, all due to slavery, Mr. Kersey.
Of course, in California, there was a multi-billion dollar price tag that has already threatened to stymie the reparations project, but it highlights the distance between the state's goals and its fiscal reality.
California Democrats are calling for $800 billion in reparations.
So, on that note, Merry Christmas, black people!
Just don't expect it anytime soon, but it could be dropping into your laps, thanks to New York Governor Kathy Hoechlin.
With that note of generosity, we will end this podcast.
And it is always a pleasure and an honor to spend this time with you, ladies and gentlemen, wherever you are around the world.
And on behalf of my co-host, Paul Kersey, myself, thank you.
Thank you for being with us all this year.
And I guess next time it'll be next year, won't it?
It'll be 2024.
Before we depart real quick, I just want to thank Antelope Hill Press.
They bought the rights to Paul Kersey's books, and they just came out with a newly edited, incredible version of Whitey on the Moon, which I Would love to share with all of the listeners.
If you'd like to learn more, send me an email at BecauseWeLiveHere at ProtonMail.com.
Once again, that email is BecauseWeLiveHere at ProtonMail.com.
So thank you to Antelope Hill Press for doing this and getting it out before the end of 2023.
And Mr. Taylor, a Happy New Year to you and your family and all of our listeners around the world.
