[00:00:15]  New York City has just released its report on crime and crime suspects for 2022.
[00:00:23]  Despite its drab cover, this report is dynamite.
[00:00:28]  Most cities don't publish race data.
[00:00:33]  Like her predecessors, gave you the works.
[00:00:37]  Keechan just resigned after only a year and a half on the job.
[00:00:41]  Maybe she actually read the report that has her name on it.
[00:00:45]  It paints a grim picture of the terrible damage blacks and Hispanics do to her city.
[00:00:52]  The media, of course, will scrupulously ignore this report.
[00:00:56]  The NYPD puts the data in graphs, and here's the one for murder.
[00:01:01]  Last year, there were 414 homicides in the city, and this shows racial distributions left to right, beginning with American Indians, then Asians, blacks, whites, and Hispanics.
[00:01:14]  Along the depth axis to the right are victims, suspects, and arestees.
[00:01:20]  The vertical axis is the percentages by race for these categories.
[00:01:25]  Those tall columns in the middle are blacks.
[00:01:28]  Of the 414 murders, blacks were 63% of the victims, 64% of the suspects, and 58% of the arestees.
[00:01:38]  As you can see on the right, Hispanics were mixed up with a lot of killing, too.
[00:01:43]  They were 26% of the victims, 31% of the suspects, and 36% of the arestees.
[00:01:50]  Whites and Asians didn't amount to much.
[00:01:53]  And there are so few American Indians in the city, you wonder why the NYPD bothers with them.
[00:02:00]  There were 20,295 robberies reported in 2022.
[00:02:05]  As you can see, blacks in the middle were suspects and got arrested for robbery a lot more often than they were victims.
[00:02:13]  This means many of them robbed people of other races.
[00:02:17]  Asians to their left.
[00:02:19]  We're much more likely to be victims than to be suspects or perps.
[00:02:23]  It's fair to assume blacks robbed a lot of them.
[00:02:27]  Whites were also more likely to be victims than perps.
[00:02:31]  It's the same for Hispanics over on the right.
[00:02:33]  But as you can see, they were a pretty good share of suspects and aristides, too.
[00:02:39]  There are graphs like these for every major crime, and they are well worth studying.
[00:02:45]  But to know what they really mean...
[00:02:47]  The different rates at which people of different races commit crime.
[00:02:51]  You have to know the city's racial mix.
[00:02:54]  The NYPD kindly tells us.
[00:02:57]  Whites are about 31% of the population, blacks a little over 20%, Asians 14%, and Hispanics 29%.
[00:03:05]  It's as if the NYPD were begging you to calculate what are called Odds ratios and see how BIPOC crime rates compare to white rates.
[00:03:16]  The numbers are staggering.
[00:03:19]  Here are the racial odds ratios for suspects.
[00:03:23]  Murder on the left.
[00:03:24]  Since we're comparing everyone else to whites, I set their crime rate to 1. Blacks are a hair-raising 33.7 times more likely than whites to be murder suspects.
[00:03:38]  Hispanics are also very high, at 11.2 times, and Asians are 2.2 times more likely to be suspects.
[00:03:46]  Robbery is next.
[00:03:48]  Last year, 20,295 New Yorkers told the police they were mugged.
[00:03:53]  As you can see, robbery is another black specialty.
[00:03:57]  Rape, though, like grand larceny two spots over, is a crime in which whites were relatively well represented.
[00:04:05]  Blacks were only about six times, and Hispanics about four times more likely than whites to be suspects in last year's 1,224 rapes.
[00:04:17]  Felonious assault, of which there were 26,301 reported cases, means attacking and injuring someone with a weapon or causing serious injury, armed or not.
[00:04:29]  Grand larceny, which is stealing something worth $1,000 or more, was the most common of these crimes, with 50,577 reported cases.
[00:04:39]  Hispanics were only twice as likely as whites to be suspects, and Asians are slightly less likely than whites to be suspects.
[00:04:48]  Finally, we have shootings.
[00:04:50]  This is when someone fires a gun and hits someone.
[00:04:54]  That happened 1,566 times last year and includes all gun homicides.
[00:05:00]  So there were at least 1,100 shootings in which someone was wounded but not killed.
[00:05:07]  As you can see, this is very much a black specialty, with Hispanics well behind but still 25.5 times more likely than whites to be suspects.
[00:05:19]  Interestingly, Asians are nearly three times more likely than whites to be suspects.
[00:05:24]  These odds ratios for suspects are the most accurate indication of who is committing crime in New York City.
[00:05:31]  If you're robbed or raped or assaulted, the police take your description of the perp, whether they catch him or not.
[00:05:39]  A lot of criminals aren't caught, so the victim description is often all we know about the race of perp.
[00:05:46]  This is the city's most recent quarterly report on clearance rates.
[00:05:51]  As you can see at the top, New York is reasonably good at catching murderers, but it doesn't clear even half of robberies or rapes.
[00:06:00]  That means the only information we may have on the race of robbers and rapists who got away is from victim descriptions.
[00:06:09]  Let's calculate odds ratios for arrests anyway.
[00:06:13]  If you could compare the two graphs side by side, you would see that generally odds ratios compared to whites drop.
[00:06:20]  For example, for murder, blacks are 34 times more likely than whites to be suspects, but only 25.3 times more likely to be arrested.
[00:06:30]  For robbery, the numbers drop from 23 to 18.4.
[00:06:34]  This is probably because blacks are famous for not cooperating with the police, so there are fewer tip-offs and fewer witnesses.
[00:06:42]  That makes it hard to get enough evidence to make an arrest.
[00:06:48]  Whichever figures you take, BIPOCs are committing a huge amount of the crime in New York City.
[00:06:54]  Even Asians, who normally have low crime rates, are worse lawbreakers than whites.
[00:07:00]  Let's do one last set of calculations.
[00:07:03]  What if New York were an all-white city, and the additional whites committed crimes at exactly the same rate as the whites who live there now?
[00:07:12]  Actually, if the city were all white, white crime rates would probably drop.
[00:07:17]  People are influenced by bad behavior around them, especially if they've been crime victims themselves.
[00:07:24]  Here are the crime reduction percentages we would expect in an all-white New York City.
[00:07:30]  I used the odds ratios for suspects because they are the best indicator of actual crime rates.
[00:07:37]  Murder would drop by an incredible 90.6% and robbery by 85.8%.
[00:07:44]  Rape, felonious assault, and grand larceny would also fall, though not by as much.
[00:07:51]  Shootings would practically disappear.
[00:07:54]  Now, I for one think these are interesting numbers, but what are your chances of finding them anywhere else?
[00:08:01]  The media won't even write about the raw data the NYPD publishes every year.
[00:08:07]  And for how much longer?
[00:08:09]  If the police stopped reporting race data, do you think the New York Times would complain?
[00:08:15]  Differences in the behavior between groups of humans are almost never as great as these enormous race differences in crime rates in New York City.
[00:08:26]  If blacks or Hispanics were, say, drowning or catching pneumonia at 4 or 12 or 20 times the white rate, you'd never hear the end of it.
[00:08:35]  But I'm the only guy in the world telling you about these numbers.
[00:08:41]  And we know why.
[00:08:42]  This report says that BIPOCs are wrecking the city.
[00:08:47]  An all-white New York wouldn't have a crime problem worth talking about, or any other problem for that matter.
[00:08:54]  You wouldn't need a fraction of the police, or social workers, or bum shelters, or street sweepers, or drug counselors, or graffiti cleaners.
[00:09:03]  What a wonderful place it would be.
[00:09:06]  But don't you dare say so.

[00:09:12]  Over 100,000 migrants have arrived in NYC, says NBC News, with sympathetic profiles of these two Venezuelans.
[00:09:22]  Will these two lads, along with the 99,998 others, improve the place?
[00:09:29]  Even the city's bonehead mayor, Eric Adams, says migrant crisis will destroy New York City.
[00:09:37]  But there they are, practically an African village, resting in the shade, dreaming of Broadway.
[00:09:44]  That wall is supposed to keep them out, but they'll walk right through it with Joe Biden's blessing.
[00:09:50]  Here are more.
[00:09:51]  Ready for the open arms of what used to be called the Border Patrol.
[00:09:56]  How many will end up on the streets of Manhattan, waiting for the free hotel rooms Eric Adams has promised them?
[00:10:04]  Is the bonehead screaming at the president to close the border?
[00:10:08]  Is he screaming at ICE to deport these illegals?
[00:10:11]  Nope. He just announced 15% budget cuts.
[00:10:16]  Including the police, so he can scrape together $12 billion to pay for these freeloaders.
[00:10:23]  Have there ever been such foolish rulers?
[00:10:27]  Has there ever been a more patient, long-suffering people than the Europeans who built a nation they thought they were going to give to their children?
[00:10:36]  H.L. Mencken said, every decent man is a shame to the government he lives under.
[00:10:42]  I can't imagine what he would say.
