Radio Renaissance - Jared Taylor - Diversity or Else! Aired: 2022-01-16 Duration: 09:33 === Corporate Boards Diversify (07:35) === [00:00:03] Hello, I'm Jared Taylor with American Renaissance. [00:00:07] The internet is trying to make my videos impossible to find. [00:00:10] So if you like what you see, I hope you'll send a link to all of your Democrat friends. [00:00:15] As usual, non-whites know what's best for us. [00:00:19] This guy's name is Jamal Glenn. [00:00:22] And just a few days ago, he wrote an article for the Microsoft Network called Corporate Boards Are Too White, Too Male, and Too Old. [00:00:31] And Jamal has four ways to fix that. [00:00:34] And here's Jessica Gwynn, senior technology writer for USA Today, with a sorrowing article. [00:00:42] Corporations vowed to fight racism after George Floyd, but many still don't have a single black board member. [00:00:50] She says Amazon, Jack in the Box, and Western Union don't have even one black on the board. [00:00:56] How do these companies survive? [00:00:58] Ms. Gwynn does concede that since George Floyd's death, 18.5% of new board members appointed to the top 3,000 U.S. companies have been black. [00:01:10] That's more than their 13% of the population. [00:01:13] But, of course, it's never enough. [00:01:16] And so, she says, there is growing investor pressure to recast overwhelmingly white boards of directors. [00:01:24] Really? Complain that there are no blacks on the board? [00:01:31] No. You see, Ms. Gwynn isn't talking about real investors. [00:01:36] She's talking about the millionaires who run asset management companies. [00:01:40] Cyrus Tarapuravala is one. [00:01:43] He's from India, and he's the boss of State Street Global Advisors, which manages $3.6 trillion. [00:01:52] His company manages other people's money, but if it's in mutual funds, State Street has voting rights on the shares. [00:01:59] If a company doesn't disclose who's on the board, and if there are too many old white men, State Street could vote against company proposals in shareholders' meetings. [00:02:11] Why would it do that? [00:02:13] In an open letter posted at Harvard Law School last year, Mr. Tara Paravella wrote, Racial and ethnic inequity is a systemic risk that threatens lives, companies, communities, and our economy. [00:02:29] Companies with all-white boards are risking death, but they're too stupid to know it, so Mr. Tarapura Valla will save them. [00:02:38] Here's one of his reports called The Board's Oversight of Racial and Ethnic Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. [00:02:46] That's the debonair, Mr. Tarapura Valla himself. [00:02:49] Talking to women. [00:02:50] It's all about how to put pressure on companies that don't know what's good for them. [00:02:55] There are photographs of 16 people in this report. [00:02:59] Not one is a white man. [00:03:02] In late 2021, Mr. T promised to triple the number of non-white managers in just two years. [00:03:10] State Street might hire one or two white men, but as the London Times explains, there will have to be special approval to hire one of those undesirables. [00:03:20] Is it legal to discriminate against white men? [00:03:24] No. But who cares? [00:03:26] I'm not picking on Mr. T just because he's from India. [00:03:31] Larry Fink is the billionaire who runs BlackRock, which is the biggest asset manager in the world, with $9.5 trillion. [00:03:40] He's also going to bully companies that aren't diverse enough and vote against them. [00:03:45] At BlackRock, he's going to double the number of Black and Latinx top managers. [00:03:51] In 2019, he told his employees, five years from now, we'll have a more diverse company, not just a bunch of white men. [00:04:00] As Larry himself says on the BlackRock website page that explains diversity, we all just want to be respected. [00:04:09] To be treated with dignity, listened to, and heard. [00:04:13] Well, isn't that sweet, unless you're a white guy. [00:04:16] The big investment bank Goldman Sachs announced in 2020 that it won't take a company public if the board isn't diverse. [00:04:25] Needless to say, as two lady professors explain, its push for diversity doesn't go far enough. [00:04:33] People who start companies are such boneheads. [00:04:36] They need people who don't start companies to tell them how to do it. [00:04:40] But don't worry. [00:04:42] The NASDAQ Stock Exchange will solve the problem. [00:04:45] The SEC has approved new rules to require diverse boards for every company listed on NASDAQ, or they'll have to explain why. [00:04:55] SEC Chairman Gary Gensler said these rules reflect calls from investors. [00:05:02] Right. Every year, companies will have to report the sex, race, and ethnicity of board members, and also which way they swing. [00:05:10] A board has to have at least two diverse members. [00:05:13] There's got to be a woman, and the second diversity slot has to be filled with either a non-white or an LGBTQ +, and no twofers. [00:05:25] White guys can't appoint a black lesbian encounter twice. [00:05:29] However, if you're a Silicon Valley company, With a board that is all Asian men, even though they're all the same, they're already halfway to diversity because they're all non-white. [00:05:40] Just pick up a woman or an LGBTQ+. [00:05:44] But there's a loophole. [00:05:47] At least for now, NASDAQ will accept self-reporting on this stuff. [00:05:52] So, I suspect a lot of white guys will now remember that they're part Mexican or Cherokee. [00:05:59] And who's going to check if a board member is bisexual or queer or plus? [00:06:04] I can hear the conversation now. [00:06:07] Come on, Joe. [00:06:08] Just claim to be a poof. [00:06:10] Take one for the team. [00:06:11] And in these gender-fluid times, couldn't I claim to be a woman? [00:06:16] At least on the day we filed the diversity report. [00:06:20] The exchange will help find diverse board members for you. [00:06:24] And this is all going to work out so well the New York Stock Exchange is working on its own diversity requirements. [00:06:32] California, ever the font of foolishness, now has laws that require women and minorities, both sexual and racial, on corporate boards of listed companies. [00:06:43] There's a fine of $100,000 for a first offense and $300,000 for subsequent offenses. [00:06:50] Every missing diversitoid counts as an offense. [00:06:54] So if you miss your quota of three for a second year, the fine is $900,000. [00:07:00] These laws are justified by the claim that diverse boards increase profits, and those old white goofs running companies have to be bludgeoned into improving their earnings. [00:07:12] There is no research that shows blacks or bisexuals or Comanches increase profits. [00:07:18] There's a new legal challenge to these requirements, which may sink them, or which may not, given the way courts work these days. === Discriminating Against White Couples (02:09) === [00:07:26] So, you must have diversity, especially if it means discriminating against white heterosexual men. [00:07:33] They are the only people who are no damn good. [00:07:36] And company directors have power. [00:07:39] Giving power to diversitoids will push the country in even crazier directions. [00:07:45] There was a time when Jews might have been able to claim that they were diverse, but not anymore. [00:07:51] As this headline says, Jews don't count in diversity and inclusion discussions. [00:07:56] Like it or not, you're white, fellas. [00:07:59] So, where does this lead? [00:08:01] Today, in America, you can't have an all-white anything unless it's a secret club. [00:08:06] If you're rich, you can live with other rich people who are mostly white, and some expensive private schools are mostly white, but for the rest of us, good luck. [00:08:17] Marriage is the last bastion of free choice. [00:08:21] 90% of white people marry other whites, but it's sure not that way in advertising. [00:08:27] Here's a nice gravestone to white couples in TV commercials. [00:08:31] The last one may have died just last year. [00:08:35] Even Joe Biden has noticed. [00:08:37] Did you ever, five years ago, think every second or third ad out of five or six would be biracial couples? [00:08:45] Maybe more like nine out of ten. [00:08:48] Dating apps are eliminating race filters, so whites can't limit searches to other whites. [00:08:53] But you want to date black people? [00:08:55] No problem. [00:08:56] Here's Black People Meet. [00:08:58] Latino dating? [00:09:00] It's just three clicks away. [00:09:02] If government can make white people hire non-whites, why not shotgun weddings? [00:09:07] Income tax breaks for mixed marriages? [00:09:10] Maybe a $1,000 surcharge on marriage licenses for white couples? [00:09:15] Woke banks could offer cut-rate mortgages to black-white couples who promise to have children. [00:09:21] Woke hospitals could deliver their children for free. [00:09:25] What's to stop them? [00:09:26] In this country, whites, especially white men, are the problem. [00:09:30] From the bedroom... [00:09:32] To the boardroom.
