Radio Renaissance - Jared Taylor - Diversity or Standards: You Can't Have Both Aired: 2021-11-29 Duration: 10:52 === Laws Without Enforcement (07:45) === [00:00:04] Hello, I'm Jared Taylor with American Renaissance. [00:00:07] If you like this video, I hope you'll send the link to a lot of your friends. [00:00:11] In America, you can have either diversity or you can have standards. [00:00:15] You can't have both. [00:00:17] And since diversity, especially racial diversity, is our number one goal, it's standards that have to go. [00:00:24] Consider crime. [00:00:26] To America's everlasting shame, the police arrest blacks and Hispanics at high rates. [00:00:32] Diversity tells us all groups are equal, and it requires equal outcomes. [00:00:38] So what's going on? [00:00:39] The theory used to be that the police are racist. [00:00:42] But if it really turns out that some groups are breaking the law more often than others, we must ask if the laws themselves are racist. [00:00:52] And that's where diversity wins and standards lose. [00:00:56] Blacks and Hispanics shoplift more than whites or Asians, but it was an insult. [00:01:02] To diversity that they were arrested more often for it. [00:01:05] And so ever since 2014 in California, stealing something worth less than $950 is a minor crime for which police won't arrest you. [00:01:16] You might get a ticket, and you can pay for it if you feel like it. [00:01:20] Before that, shock lifters worried about being caught. [00:01:24] They either had to be sneaky or rush around, and that just wasn't fun. [00:01:28] Thank you. [00:01:29] Thank you. [00:01:35] Things are different now. [00:01:36] Here are broad daylight thieves ransacking a store in Alameda, California. [00:01:42] They take their time and they move over to cosmetic shelves and then it's out the door. [00:01:48] Here's a guy on a bike loading up in a San Francisco Walgreens while a security guy watches. [00:01:55] He's out the door and home free too. [00:01:57] He's out the door and home free too. [00:02:04] Blacks especially refused to meet the standards that forbid shoplifting. [00:02:09] So to heck with the standards. [00:02:11] Now there's more shoplifting than ever. [00:02:14] Since the new rules, Walgreens has closed 17 stores in San Francisco alone because of shoplifting. [00:02:21] San Francisco now leads the country in property crime, including smash-and-grab theft from automobiles. [00:02:30] And it's no surprise that U-Haul prices for one-way moves out of California are astronomical right now. [00:02:37] As this article noted, it costs ten times more to rent a truck from LA to Phoenix than the other way. [00:02:45] People are getting out of California. [00:02:49] Philadelphia just decided to change how it enforces the law against what it calls quality-of-life crimes. [00:02:55] The city noted that Racial disparity does exist in certain types of car and pedestrian stops. [00:03:02] And so, for these crimes, officers are ordered to ask perps to stop, politely. [00:03:08] If they stop, they're free to go. [00:03:11] In other words, certain crimes are no longer crimes unless an officer asks you to stop and you keep doing them. [00:03:19] Here's the full list of these crimes, which include public defecation, aggressive panhandling, Blocking traffic, prostitution, all noise offenses, and disorderly conduct. [00:03:33] Disorderly conduct includes fighting, public drunkenness, and men who look in your windows while they expose themselves. [00:03:41] All these things will be legal unless a cop shows up, asks you to stop, and you keep doing it. [00:03:48] And the same goes for dumping old furniture and bags of garbage in a park. [00:03:56] Better rent your U-Haul out of Philly while you can. [00:04:00] Paying your fare to ride the bus is another standard some people can't meet. [00:04:05] In the first three months of 2017, the NYPD has arrested 4,600 people for fare evasion, an overwhelming 90% of them were Black or Hispanic. [00:04:17] The ACLU is blunt. [00:04:19] Fare evasion enforcement is racist. [00:04:22] So, the standard had to go. [00:04:25] And turnstile jumpers got a ticket that they can throw away, if the police even bother. [00:04:31] And lo and behold, this headline, Fair Evasion on the Rise, Costing MTA Hundreds of Millions of Dollars, some $260 million to be exact. [00:04:43] Washington, D.C. did the same thing for the same reason with this headline, D.C. Council Decriminalizes Metro Fair Evasion. [00:04:52] I'm sad that Metro's losing money, but I'm more sad about what's happening to black people. [00:04:58] Note the turnstile hopper. [00:05:01] That heartbreaking quote is from a black D.C. council member. [00:05:05] Councilman Robert White said it's too bad the system was already losing $40 million a year to cheaters, but if 91% of the people arrested for fair beating are black, then arrests have just got to stop. [00:05:20] Diversity or standards? [00:05:22] You take your pick. [00:05:24] The East Coast was just catching up with San Francisco, which decriminalized fair beating in 2008 because the law was racist. [00:05:33] And what happened? [00:05:34] Violent crime soars on BART. [00:05:37] Fair evasion costs $25 million a year. [00:05:40] When you can just hop a turnstile to get in, criminals rob people in subway cars because they have no place to run. [00:05:47] Another little problem. [00:05:49] Bay Area transit agencies are grappling with spiking homelessness. [00:05:54] This is a nice way of saying that once everyone can walk into the system, bums and winos start living in it. [00:06:01] You get to step over them as you go to work. [00:06:05] Carol Simon, prosecutor in Ingham County, Michigan. [00:06:10] It is outraged that blacks are 15% of the state population, but 53% are the prisoners. [00:06:17] So she is going to stop enforcing one of the state's gun laws. [00:06:21] Michigan adds two years to your sentence. [00:06:24] If you carry a gun while you commit a felony, even if you don't use the gun. [00:06:28] But oh no! [00:06:30] 80% of the people serving additional time for packing heat are black. [00:06:35] So Ms. Seaman says she's not enforcing that law. [00:06:39] No additional time for carrying a gun. [00:06:43] Killings are on a record-breaking rise, but you mustn't enforce a law if black people are more likely to break it. [00:06:50] So, we stop enforcing laws against shoplifting, farebeating, prostitution, dumping garbage in parks, and carrying a gun when you rape someone, only because black people are more likely to break those laws. [00:07:03] But why stop there? [00:07:05] Even Wikipedia admits that blacks accounted for 55.9% of all homicide offenders in 2019, which means they break those laws at a little over eight times the rate for everyone else. [00:07:21] Sounds like a racist law to me. [00:07:24] Stop enforcing it! [00:07:25] Of course, other standards are also racist. [00:07:29] The internet is full of headlines like this. === Challenging Standardized Tests (03:04) === [00:07:36] They are racist because blacks get the worst scores, followed by Hispanics, followed by American Indians, followed by whites. [00:07:44] What the people who hate standards can't explain is why Asians get the best scores. [00:07:50] Nothing dotted, the Teachers College Press at Columbia University insists that dismantling white supremacy includes ending racist tests like the SAT and ACT. [00:08:03] The SAT was started in 1926 to set objective standards and eliminate unfair, subjective evaluation. [00:08:12] It's got to go because colleges want to make unfair, subjective evaluations of students. [00:08:19] In the name of diversity. [00:08:21] That's why more than 1,000 colleges, including the entire University of California system, have either ditched standardized tests or made them optional. [00:08:31] Diversity comes first. [00:08:33] Same thing for the GRE, the standardized test to get into graduate school. [00:08:37] Half of all physics and astronomy departments and nearly as many molecular biology and neuroscience programs no longer require them. [00:08:47] There just weren't enough blacks and Hispanics getting good scores. [00:08:52] United Airlines is distressed that 80% of its pilots are white men, so it now promises that women and people of color will be 50% of new pilot trainees. [00:09:04] So what's more important in the cockpit? [00:09:07] Standards or diversity? [00:09:09] And don't worry. [00:09:10] The standardized test to get into medical school, the MCAT, could be on its way out, too. [00:09:17] The NIH are warning you of the consequences of structural racism on MCAT scores and medical school admissions. [00:09:26] Well, can you think of any area in which standards are not crumbling in the name of diversity? [00:09:33] Diversity even comes before standards of historical accuracy, but only when it means shoving white people off the stage. [00:09:43] Who are the pariahs in this subversion of standards? [00:09:47] MIT just hired six new assistant deans for diversity, equity, and inclusion. [00:09:53] Look at these happy new deans. [00:09:56] Will they be zealously upholding the high standards that MIT at least used to be known for? [00:10:03] Nope. Their job is to subvert standards at every turn and for one purpose, to try to keep people who look like me Out of MIT. [00:10:14] It's a strange fix the white man got himself into. [00:10:18] The country is in a headlong rush to become less competent, less efficient, less orderly, and more crime-ridden, all while reviling and punishing the people who built this country and gave it its institutions. === Airfare Paradox (00:28) === [00:10:32] Will the day come when airfare out of the United States is ten times the fare coming in?
