Radio Renaissance - Jared Taylor - What Is the Alt-Right? Aired: 2021-05-11 Duration: 05:04 === Alt-Right Unveiled (05:00) === [00:00:04] Hello, I'm Jared Taylor with American Renaissance. [00:00:07] What's the alt-right or alternative right? [00:00:12] Millions of people heard the term for the first time when Hillary Clinton mentioned it in a campaign ad last week. [00:00:19] A campaign chair that ran a website that has become a field day for the alt-right, which is racist and all sorts of otherists. [00:00:26] The alt-right, which is a sort of dressed-up-in-suits version of the neo-Nazi and white supremacist movements. [00:00:36] She said it's full of terrible people, and she tried to connect it to Donald Trump. [00:00:42] So the mainstream media are now full of stories explaining the alt-right. [00:00:47] Even a Japanese newspaper interviewed me the other day about the Aruto Raito. [00:00:53] As a long-standing member of the alt-right, this is how I see it. [00:00:58] We are a broad, dissident movement that includes many different websites, organizations, and viewpoints. [00:01:06] Some members hold distinctive positions on sex roles, trade and free markets, forms of government, and foreign policy. [00:01:14] But they all agree on one thing. [00:01:17] Equality is a dangerous myth. [00:01:20] The alt-right is united in rejecting the current dogma that all races are equal. [00:01:27] Races are different. [00:01:29] They differ in average levels of intelligence. [00:01:31] They do not build identical societies. [00:01:34] And there is no reason to think non-whites can maintain Western civilization, the civilization that whites created. [00:01:43] And most people prefer the culture created by their own race and prefer to be around people like themselves. [00:01:50] Blacks, Hispanics, and Asians express this preference all the time and everyone thinks it's fine. [00:01:57] It's Only whites who are thought to be immoral if they openly prefer the culture, society, and people of Europe. [00:02:06] Now, if you're shocked by what I've said so far, you're not part of the alt-right. [00:02:11] Not yet. [00:02:12] But just wait. [00:02:14] We're growing all the time. [00:02:16] The alt-right is eager to have the honest dialogue on race that former Attorney General Eric Holder and others claim to want. [00:02:25] Well, they're not sincere. [00:02:28] They want to exclude everyone who disagrees with them. [00:02:32] Honest dialogue is meaningless if everyone already agrees. [00:02:36] Let me give you a little alt-right history. [00:02:39] The term was first used in 2008 and came out of the political discussion group the H.L. Mencken Club. [00:02:47] And the people who first popularized the expression were Richard Spencer and Paul Gottfried. [00:02:54] In the last eight years, the alt-right has expanded enormously. [00:02:58] It's now closely associated with websites such as V-Dare, Takis Magazine, my own American Renaissance, and many bold new sites such as Radix Journal, Social Matter, The Right Stuff, Red Ice Radio, [00:03:15] The Political Sesspool, and The Alternative Right. [00:03:18] Many of the most creative and dynamic members are the alt-right Twitter army, always ready with clever memes and smackdowns against liberal journalists. [00:03:29] Most of the people in the alt-right, especially the younger ones, have to hide their identities because of our oppressive political atmosphere. [00:03:38] Only a tiny fraction of the alt-right can afford to be open about their views because if you dissent publicly, you can be fired from your job, kicked out of school. [00:03:49] It's like the dissident movement in the old Soviet Union. [00:03:53] Despite the fact that we claim to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave. [00:03:59] Hillary Clinton and the press have tried to tie the alt-right to Alex Jones and to various people associated with Breitbart.com and to Donald Trump himself. [00:04:11] This is dishonest. [00:04:13] None of these people has ever taken up the cause of white identity or talked openly about race and IQ. [00:04:22] We may be sympathetic to people such as Steve Bannon of Breitbart and Donald Trump because of their views on immigration, but they have never spoken up for explicitly white interests. [00:04:34] If you want to learn more about the alt-right, the biological reality of race, or the importance of white racial consciousness, please visit our website, AmericanRenaissance, at www.amran.com or any of the other sites that I've mentioned. [00:04:50] It could be your first step into a world where things finally make sense, where there are real solutions to problems liberal orthodoxy can't even understand, much less solve.
