Radio Renaissance - Jared Taylor - CPAC Purged the Patriots Aired: 2021-01-08 Duration: 07:29 === CPAC's Conservative Compromise (05:06) === [00:00:03] Hello, I'm Jared Taylor with American Renaissance. [00:00:07] CPAC, the annual jamboree for people who call themselves conservatives, is in full swing. [00:00:13] Donald Trump is a speaker, along with Congressman Dan Crenshaw, Senator Mike Lee, Sebastian Gorka, and Ivanka Trump. [00:00:21] Do you think any of these people will say anything that will actually conserve what most needs to be conserved? [00:00:26] Our country. [00:00:28] CPAC is now kissing President Trump's hand. [00:00:31] But he wasn't even a speaker in 2016, the year he was elected. [00:00:36] He skipped the conference because so many activists opposed him, and CPAC insisted on having a hostile journalist on stage to grill him after his talk. [00:00:46] He probably would have been booed. [00:00:48] In the CPAC presidential straw poll that year, he came in in third, just 15% after Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. [00:00:56] Even now... [00:00:57] Does CPAC support what the president ran on in 2016? [00:01:01] The real pioneer of America First was Pat Buchanan. [00:01:05] He used to be so popular a speaker at CPAC, the Washington Post called him a rock star. [00:01:11] But CPAC's boss, David Keene, decided he was a disquieting figure and banned him. [00:01:18] What was the most influential book of the 2016 election? [00:01:22] Without a doubt, it was Ann Coulter's Adios America. [00:01:26] Donald Trump is said to have read it cover to cover and tweeted about it. [00:01:30] A great read. [00:01:31] Good job. [00:01:33] Ann Coulter used to get top marks as CPAC's most popular speaker. [00:01:38] Not anymore. [00:01:39] She's been excluded from the speaker's list for the last five years. [00:01:44] She might say something the Huffington Post might say was racist. [00:01:48] What about Michelle Malkin? [00:01:50] Last year she gave a powerful, passionate talk. [00:01:54] There is no sugarcoating America's long-term forecast. [00:01:59] We face fearful odds. [00:02:02] The game is rigged. [00:02:04] The playing field is manifestly unlevel. [00:02:07] And I will warn you that I am going to go over time because the most important issue that we face is immigration, and we need to be talking about it more than one panel in 20 minutes. [00:02:19] The Feds. [00:02:20] Under both Republican and Democrat administrations, have proved themselves serially, unwilling, and incapable of handling the lapses, the backlogs, the overload, and yes, invasion. [00:02:33] How is it that we have Republicans in Congress on Capitol Hill that are doing the bidding of the dreamer movement? [00:02:41] What about our dreams? [00:02:44] Until... Until and unless... [00:02:49] We reclaim the right of self-determination over the numbers. [00:02:56] We are doomed. [00:02:58] She's not back this year. [00:02:59] Too much truth-telling, I guess. [00:03:02] Just occasionally, a spark of light breaks through the CPAC fog. [00:03:06] In 2012, there were actually a panel called The Failure of Multiculturalism with people who want to conserve a recognizable America. [00:03:16] Robert Vandervoort, John Derbyshire, Peter Brimelow. [00:03:20] Serge Trishkovic. [00:03:22] That'll never happen again. [00:03:24] In 2017, Richard Spencer bought a ticket, but CPAC kicked him out. [00:03:30] Last year, CPAC refused to let Patrick Casey even buy a ticket and chased away Nick Fuentes when he showed up. [00:03:38] But every year, CPAC gives press credentials to hostile reporters. [00:03:43] This guy makes a living doxing people and calling everyone in sight a racist. [00:03:48] Here was the article. [00:03:50] CPAC unable to separate itself from the right's formally fringe elements. [00:03:57] It's all about infiltration by dangerous white supremacists. [00:04:01] Here's Huffington Post's article from 2018. [00:04:04] There sure were a bunch of white nationalists at CPAC, huh? [00:04:08] Why does CPAC let these people in and not us? [00:04:12] Doesn't it realize that those journalists are always going to find someone to call a white supremacist? [00:04:19] This is a perfect example of so-called conservatives taking orders from their political enemies. [00:04:26] It's worse than spineless. [00:04:28] It's suicidal. [00:04:30] Just this week, there was an AP article with this title, No Way Out. [00:04:35] Demographics Drive GOP Nosedive on West Coast. [00:04:40] It explains why Republicans are becoming increasingly irrelevant. [00:04:45] Let me read just a few sentences. [00:04:48] In 1980, Orange County, near Los Angeles, was 80% white and a GOP stronghold. [00:04:54] Today, Orange County is mostly Hispanic and Asian, with many displeased by Republicans'hard stance on immigration. === California's Republican Decline (02:34) === [00:05:03] In 2018, voters there dealt a stunning defeat to a two-term GOP congresswoman. [00:05:10] The California GOP wound up losing six other U.S. House seats that year, leading a former Republican leader in the state to declare the California Republican Party isn't salvageable at this time. [00:05:23] At this time? [00:05:25] When is it going to be salvageable, Mr. Former Republican Leader? [00:05:30] The white population in California dropped from 67% in 1980 to just 37%. [00:05:37] Do you think that might have something to do with the fact that every statewide official, from governor on down, is a Democrat? [00:05:45] Why both senators are Democrats? [00:05:46] And why out of 51 U.S. House members, only six are Republicans? [00:05:53] And how long are they going to last? [00:05:55] I remember when California produced Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan. [00:05:59] Now we get Kamala Harris. [00:06:02] The whole country is going that way. [00:06:05] Can't conservatives see that? [00:06:08] They seem more worried that some lefty fishwrap might say they were racists. [00:06:13] It's not as though they weren't warned. [00:06:15] In 1995, Peter Brimelow wrote Alien Nation, common sense about America's immigration disaster. [00:06:21] In 1998, I published a book called The Real American Dilemma, Race, Immigration, and the Future of America. [00:06:30] In 2001, Pat Buchanan wrote The Death of the West. [00:06:34] How dying populations and immigrant invasions imperil our culture and civilization. [00:06:42] CPAC would invite Bernie Sanders to speak before it would invite any of us. [00:06:47] And that's because, decade after decade, we have been warning that mass immigration will crush the conservative movement. [00:06:55] Instead of listening to us, they purged us. [00:06:58] Not because we were wrong. [00:07:00] Because we were right. [00:07:03] As they think about who's going to be voting in the November election, conservatives might wonder why an outright socialist could become president. [00:07:13] They should do some soul-searching this weekend instead of partying. [00:07:17] If conservatives don't show some spine, the GOP is going to end up stuffed and in a museum, along with the last dodo. [00:07:26] I'd say it deserved it. [00:07:28] Except that...
