	But it's Monday, and we usually start each week by going and listening to a sermon from Pastor Dean Miller.
	We like to start our weeks with some hope and encouragement in the scripture, just like we like to end every show with the same thing.
	So we're going to do that here today on the show.
	But for anybody who is not aware, uh little programming update reminder, whatever you want to call it, and this may be repetitive again for those of you who are heard this already, but as of at the latest the end of this month,

	But with that being said, let's go right over to Pastor D. Miller.
	Let's start this sermon titled The Church, Christ's Body on Earth.
	Let's listen.
	Amen.
	Only our God.
	In uh John chapter 15.
	Jesus is walking from the upper room to the Garden of Gethsemane with his disciples, and uh perhaps he passes by a uh Jerusalem vineyard, or maybe he's walking past the gates of the temple that were imported from Greece, that were golden gates embossed with a beautiful vine around those gates of the temple.
	But Jesus makes this statement to his disciples in John 15 1.
	I am the true vine.
	Now that resonated with these Jewish disciples because all through the Old Testament, Israel had been called the vine.
	God was the husbandman, he had picked up Israel out of a Gentile land, he had brought them to a land, he cleared everything out, cast up all of the stones and the rocks like a good husbandman in a vineyard Would do, and then he planted Israel in that land.
	And God gave to Israel unending covenants to be his people, to be that land, and to be a kingdom that would be a blessing to the whole world.
	And Israel has been under great turmoil ever since.
	Satan has leveled his attack at Israel.
	They've always been the epicenter of what is going on in the world.
	Jerusalem is even today dominating the headlines across the world, even now.
	Israel has always been the epicenter of what God is doing in the world.
	Now, has Israel always been upright and just and the nation that deserves all of these things?
	Absolutely not.
	Many times Israel was the epicenter of spiritual apostasy and wickedness, idolatry, human sacrifice, wicked atrocities were committed by the Jewish people.
	And God, God judged them, God pruned them, God put them through great trials.
	But God's promises to Israel are unending.
	And they're unconditional.
	And God chose this land.
	God chose these people.
	And Jacob is when he said to Jacob, your name will not no longer be Jacob.
	You will be Israel, a prince with God.
	And it was through that name and that nation and that family that the ultimate son of Abraham and son of David would come, whose name was Jesus.
	He was brought forth of the Jews.
	He came into this world by prophecy through the Jewish nation.
	And now God was doing a work where he sent his son into the vineyard.
	And the vineyard, the vineyard keepers, the Jewish people rejected the Son.
	I wish I had time today, and I'll tell you this in weeks to come, but over in Matthew chapter 21, Jesus gave a parable about this just before this event.
	I mean, just hours before this, in Jesus' last week, he gave a parable about a vineyard, a man had a vineyard, and uh, and everyone that came to work in that vineyard, the people in that vineyard killed him.
	And he said, Well, now I know what I'll do, I'll send my son.
	Though here, my son sent his son, and they killed the son.
	And so the vineyard keeper said, I know what I'll do.
	I'm going to give this vineyard to other nations.
	And listen to what happened.
	God did not replace Israel with the church.
	But God set Israel aside.
	We talked about that last week in Romans chapter 8, 9, 10, and 11.
	God set Israel aside for a future plan.
	There is a future plan with Israel.
	Let me tell you, their future is bleak.
	And then it gets bright.
	God is going to judge them in a time of tribulation.
	So when Jesus is saying here, I am the true vine, here's what he's saying.
	He's saying, listen, Israel was not God's ultimate plan.
	I was the ultimate plan of Israel.
	And now I am the root out of dry ground.
	I am the vine, and my father is the husband.
	And watch this very carefully.
	Verse 2.
	Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh away.
	And every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it that it may be, that it may bring forth more fruit.
	Now you are clean through the words which I have spoken unto you.
	Abide in me, and I in you, as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
	I am the vine.
	Ye are the branches.
	He that abideth in me, and I in him the same bringeth forth much fruit.
	Notice.
	Stay tuned.

	Let's go right back to Pastor D. Miller's sermon.
	Progression here.
	I'm the vine.
	You're the branch.
	You're to bring forth fruit.
	But my Father's going to purge you and prune you and trim you so that you can bring forth more fruit.
	And you're gonna abide in me, and I'm gonna abide in you, and you'll bring forth much fruit.
	So the progression of the Christian is we are in Christ to bring forth fruit.
	We are purged and pruned by God so that we can bring forth more fruit, and we abide in Christ, and Christ fully abides in us, so we bring forth much fruit.
	This is God's plan.
	And Jesus said in verse 5, without me you can do nothing.
	So this is a this is a foreshadowing in this time when Jesus was giving himself to the Jews.
	This was a time where he was foreshadowing a mystery that would be known as the church.
	And the church was a mystery.
	It was a mystery.
	What does that mean?
	It's not like a dateline mystery.
	A mystery in the Bible is something that was not before revealed, but now revealed.
	And it was a mystery.
	In fact, I want to show you a couple things.
	Look over in your Bible very quickly to Ephesians chapter 3.
	Turn over there very quick.
	Ephesians chapter 3.
	While you're turning, I'm going to give you this understanding.
	Paul, the apostle was saved, and then he was a Jewish Pharisee and leader, but the Lord Jesus saved him out of all of that.
	And God called Peter, I mean Paul, to become the apostle to the Gentiles.
	After he was saved and baptized, the Lord took him into the Arabian desert for three years, where to Paul was given this whole mystery and revelation of the church.
	God revealed to Paul what his plan had been all along.
	The church was not God's plan B. The church was not just some like emergency escape.
	The church had been God's plan all along.
	Look at Ephesians 3, look at verse 8.
	Unto me, Paul said, who am the less less than the least of all the saints, is this grace given that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.
	And to make all men see what is the fellowship, watch this.
	What is the fellowship of the mystery?
	What is the mystery?
	The mystery is the church.
	He's going to explain all of that in chapter 5.
	But the mystery is the church.
	In fact, look over at chapter 5.
	Just flip the page if you have to.
	But look at chapter 5.
	And look down at verse number, verse number 30.
	For we are members of his body and of his flesh and his bones.
	For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, be joined unto his wife, they too shall be one flesh.
	This is a great mystery.
	I speak concerning Christ and the church.
	Okay?
	So when I say mystery, what are we talking about?
	Somebody answer me out loud.
	When I say mystery, we're talking about the church.
	So Paul said it was given to me to reveal this mystery.
	Watch this, verse number nine.
	To make all men see what is the fellowship of this mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.
	To the intent that now, unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church, the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose, which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
	Wherefore I desire that you faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
	Now look down in verse verse number um, verse number 21.
	Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages and without end, world without end, amen.
	So he said, it was look at look back at verse 9.
	He said, This mystery was hidden, it was hidden in God.
	So, let me show you something.
	Before the foundation of the world, God had taken this mystery of the church, and God had hidden it.
	God had hidden his eternal purpose.
	So what did God do?
	God, through progressive revelation, God gave us, God gave us the line of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and the nation of Israel.
	And God gave unconditional covenants and promises with them.
	Why?
	So that he could keep them a distinct people, a separated people, a people for the purposes of God.
	Satan came at them.
	Everything in this world was leveled at Israel.
	And God had given them these eternal covenants.
	Through them was born the son of Abraham, the son of David, but the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.
	He was born of the Jews in Jerusalem in Bethlehem in Israel.
	And Jesus came to his own and said, Hey, I'm that anointed one from before the foundation of the world.
	I am the Messiah.
	And they rejected him.
	And in his rejection, he died and was buried, and he rose again, fulfilling God's internal, eternal intention.
	And that was the gospel that would be the saving of the whole world.
	By this gospel, through Israel, the whole world would be blessed through Jesus.
	So through that rejection and his resurrection, God now uncovers this mystery, which is the New Testament church.
	That has a different relationship to Jesus Christ than Israel had with God.
	It is the bride of Christ and so forth.
	So Jesus, so God reveals this.
	This church that we are a part of.
	That's a wonderful thing.
	And so I want you to see today, I'm going to take today and kind of clear up some very practical things from last week about God setting Israel aside.
	God has future plans for Israel.
	Is Israel always just in its action?
	No.
	Is Israel always, is Israel always blameless?
	No.
	Israel has many times been the cause of their own trouble because of their apostasy and their backsliddenness and their rebellion against God.
	But listen to me.
	I don't, I don't bless Israel because of Israel.
	I bless Israel because of the God Of Israel.
	And it was through their rejection that this blessing of the church came to us.
	New Testament is very clear about that.
	So what are we talking about, this church?
	Okay?
	Go back with me to Matthew 16, and then we're going to go through some very practical points.
	Matthew 16 and verse number 18.
	Jesus is up in Caesarea Philippi, up north, up outside of the Jewish borders, and Jesus says to them, to his disciples, hey, who do men say that I am?
	And they said, Well, some say you're Jeremiah the prophet, or Isaiah the prophet, or one of the prophets.
	And Jesus said, Okay.
	Then he got very personal.
	Who do you say that I am?
	Who do you say that I am?
	And notice what the Bible says in verse number 16.
	And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ.
	That's the Messiah.
	That's the Jewish Messiah.
	Thou art the Christ, God's anointed, the Son of the living God.
	And Jesus said, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar Jonas, Simon's son of Jonas.
	Okay?
	Simon, I know who your dad is.
	And you know who my father is.
	I'm the Son of God, you're the Son of Jonas.
	He said, I know who you are, you know who I am.
	And then he says, This flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
	So Peter had a spiritual revelation of who Jesus Christ was.
	That he was not just a political figure.
	He was God's Messiah, sent, promised by the prophets, promised in the Old Testament, the fulfillment of the covenant, the Son of God.
	Peter had a spiritual understanding of that and declared that Jesus Christ was the Son of God.
	And then Jesus says this in verse 18.
	And I say also unto thee that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I'll build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.
	Now, many people have taken this to mean that Jesus was going to build his church upon Peter.
	Well, he did not build his church upon Peter.
	That was not the rock upon which Jesus was going to build the church.
	The rock upon which Jesus was going to build the church was himself and the confession that he was the Son of God.
	The church is built on the confession that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
	In fact, Peter would clear this up later because Peter would say in Acts chapter 4 that Jesus was the stone that was set at not of you builders, and now is become the head of the corner.
	Peter would say in 1 Peter in his epistle in 1 Peter chapter 2, that we are built up a spiritual house, Jesus Christ, the chief cornerstone.
	And we, his believers, as lively stones.
	So listen, listen.
	Jesus was the stone.
	The confession of Jesus Christ is the rock upon which the church is built.
	So what did Jesus mean when he said the church?
	Okay?
	Now you've got to listen very quickly because we're running out of time, and I want to give this to you very succinctly.
	The word church in the New Testament is the Greek word ekklesia.
	It means a called out assembly.
	Now when Jesus said that in Matthew chapter 16, upon this rock, I'll build my church.
	That word ecclesia was not uncommon.
	There were many ecclesias.
	Anytime people were assembled together for a common purpose, that was an ecclesia.
	That was a gathering.
	And there were many of them.
	There were gatherings in the synagogues, there were gatherings in the temple, there were the gatherings of the Sanhedrin, there were gatherings of city leaders and city council.
	But there was one that had a distinction to it.
	Jesus said, Upon this rock, I will build my ecclesia.
	There will be a gathering, a called out assembly of people that assemble with me and belong to me.
	So how do we know what that assembly is?
	How do we know who that assembly is?
	I'm glad you asked that question.
	Because by definition, an ecclesia of the church, the Lord's church, the ecclesia, listen, is a called out assembly, local, visible,
	and organized, made up of baptized believers, who have spiritually and voluntarily joined together to carry out Christ's command.
	What is the New Testament church?
	It is people who have been born again, scripturally baptized, who By the Holy Spirit have been organized into a body to carry out the commands of the Lord Jesus Christ.
	They belong one to another.
	In fact, that was the definition.
	Let me give you the description.
	I told you these very quickly last week, but the Bible describes the church as the body of Christ.
	Write down 1 Corinthians chapter 12 and verse 27.
	There is one body and many members.
	So just like your body has one head and then many members, so the church has one head and many members.
	Christ is the head, and we are all members of the body.
	Now listen.
	Some people say, well, Pastor, what about the universal church or the invisible church?
	No such thing.
	You say, but yeah, but aren't all believers part of the church?
	Not necessarily.
	Um, born-again, baptized believers who have been spiritually and voluntarily united with a local assembly.
	Listen, listen.
	The Bible is always about the local assembly.
	You cannot read the New Testament without seeing that.
	Paul wrote to the church at Corinth.
	He wrote to the church at Ephesus.
	He wrote to the church of Philippi.
	He wrote to the Church of Thessalonica.
	Jesus wrote to his church at Ephesus, Thyratyra, Sardis, Philadelphia.
	These were local churches, independent of one another, but all dependent on their head, the Lord Jesus Christ.
	You say, but yeah, but when Jesus comes, aren't we all, aren't all believers going to be with him?
	Well, sure.
	Well, then that's the universal church.
	No, no, no.
	It'll still be local.
	It'll just be there.
	And it'll be visible.
	And it'll have a pastor, and it won't be me.
	Praise God.
	And we'll give appreciation to that pastor, the Lord Jesus.
	So it's the body of Christ.
	Every member has a role and a function within the body.
	If we're a body, then every member has a specific responsibility.
	Just like your body, every member of your body has a specific responsibility.
	Somebody say, Well, Pastor, I really can't contribute much to the church.
	I'm a nobody.
	Oh, wait a minute.
	Are you in his body?
	Yes.
	Well, in his body, there is everybody is a somebody in that body.
	God doesn't have any ungifted children.
	Every believer has spiritual gifts that they are to perform within the church and their role and their function in the church.
	So listen, you have a responsibility in this church.
	I'm responsible in this church.
	And this church is hindered if we don't fulfill it.
	So I said body of Christ, and then last week I said the bride of Christ.
	Now the Bible tells us in Ephesians 5 that we are the bride of Christ, which means then as the bride of Christ, the church is to be set apart from the world.
	We are to walk in the love of our bridegroom, and we are to keep ourselves purified for him.
	Alright, taking a break.

	Who's gone on the owner of a liquor store?

	Cuss out a cop, spit in his face.
	Stomp on the flag and light it up.
	Yeah.
	Yeah, you think it's of try that in a small sound.

	Welcome back to Justice Form Talk Radio.
	We're going to go right back to Pastor D. Miller's sermon.
	So there's a call to purity.
	There's a call to separation.
	There's a call to holiness because we are belonging to Him.
	Paul said, I uh Paul said, I have one ministry.
	I labor that I may espouse you unto one husband as a chaste virgin.
	Clean and pure.
	The Apostle Paul wrote, keep your garments clean and unspotted from the world.
	Live a pure life.
	Sanctified, set apart.
	You're the bride of Christ.
	Not only that, in 1 Corinthians chapter 3, we are the church is described as the building of God.
	A building, just like this building.
	This building has so many components.
	Foundations, walls, beams, facets of every kind make up everything.
	There are so many things that make up this building, and yet all together it's one building.
	Well, that's what we are in Christ.
	We are built on the foundation of Jesus Christ.
	We have a foundation.
	But listen, we need some others that step in and become the thing that God has made you to be within the church as the building of God.
	And so the church that was established by Jesus Christ was empowered at the day of Pentecost.
	And he gives us the pattern in Acts chapter 2.
	Look over there very quickly.
	It's the last place we'll turn.
	I think I said that about Matthew, but I do want you to see this.
	Acts chapter 2, and uh this will be the last place we turn, and then I'll bring this message to a conclusion in just a moment.
	Acts chapter 2.
	Here's the pattern of the church.
	Watch this.
	The Holy Spirit comes down and baptizes this infant church that Jesus had started into one body at the day of Pentecost.
	And watch what happens.
	Verse number 41.
	Then they that gladly received his word.
	Okay, what is that?
	Salvation.
	We're born again.
	Not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible seed by the word of God.
	So they received the word.
	They were baptized, and the same day they were added unto them about 3,000 souls.
	So here's the pattern.
	The pattern of church membership is one salvation and then baptism.
	And you cannot get those in reverse order.
	A person is not baptized to be saved.
	A person is saved and then baptized.
	Baptism is not a part of salvation.
	Baptism is a pronouncement of salvation.
	Baptism is an outward and outward show and symbol of what I got saved by.
	I was saved by the death and the burial and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
	And when I got saved, I died to my old man and buried it, and I've now been raised to walk in newness of life, and I am publicly professing that.
	I am identifying publicly with Jesus and publicly with his church.
	And I am saved and baptized.
	By the way, salvation is confessing Jesus Christ as Lord.
	Baptism is demonstrating that you're in obedience to your Lord.
	Jesus said one time, how do you call me Lord and not do the things that I say?
	A church is to be obedient.
	So saved and baptized.
	Number two, look at verse 42.
	This now saved and baptized church membership.
	They continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship.
	Number two, conversion and baptism, doctrine and fellowship.
	Doctrine is what we believe.
	Doctrine is what we what we teach and preach.
	We have got to get grounded in our doctrine.
	And then we have a fellowship.
	We are connected in this body.
	Listen.
	Listen, this is so vitally important.
	When you get saved and baptized and you belong to the church, you need to be grounded in doctrine like we saw with these people that started in our discipleship.
	Be grounded in doctrine and then get into fellowship with the church.
	Get into a connection class.
	The church is Jesus and relationships.
	You cannot be a lone ranger Christian.
	You have to be connected in the fellowship of the believers.
	So conversion and baptism, doctrine and fellowship.
	Then look at verse number 42.
	And they also continued in breaking of bread and in prayers.
	Look at verse 47.
	Praising God and having favor with all the people.
	What is this?
	Watch this.
	This is prayer and worship.
	Prayer and worship.
	So here's the process of the church: conversion and baptism.
	Doctrine and fellowship.
	And now, prayer and worship.
	I'll tell you, I'm under conviction often that our church needs to be more of a praying church.
	The church needs to pray corporately.
	We've got to pray individually.
	We've got to pray as families.
	We need to be a church praying.
	And listen to me.
	Our worship will never be what it should be without prayer.
	Prayer, prayer is the headwaters of true worship.
	If you worship without prayer, you're having an emotional experience.
	But prayer is the foundation, doctrine and prayer the foundations for true worship.
	And then watch this, verse 47.
	And the Lord added to the church daily such it should be saved.
	Evangelism and mission.
	So here's the pattern of the church: conversion and baptism, doctrine and fellowship, praying and worshiping, evangelism and mission.
	That's the that when the church is connected to Him and connected together, that church is going to flourish into a church that is going to outreach with the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.
	If you're understanding this so far, say amen.
	Okay?
	So that's the description of the church.
	Now let me give you.
	You say, okay, how do I know if I'm in the right kind of church?
	How do I know if I'm in a true church?
	You're going to know that not by the name on the door.
	You're going to know that by its distinction.
	You're going to know that by its distinction.
	Listen, I look, look, I want everybody to come to Front Range Baptist Church.
	I wish all of Four Collins would come to this church.
	I wish all of Loveland would come to the church.
	I wish we could we could reach everybody with the gospel.
	But we are not selling our church.
	We're preaching Christ.
	So how do we know that we're the right church?
	By this distinction.
	Listen, the church of Corinth was separate from the church of Ephesus.
	They were independent.
	But you could tell that they were the true church by their distinctives.
	What were the distinctives?
	Number one, born again, baptized membership.
	The church had to be saved and baptized.
	Listen, the church is not a social club.
	The church is a spiritual family.
	You have to have spiritual life.
	And you have to have spiritual roots to be part of the family.
	So born-again membership.
	Next, by the way, if you go to a church and they don't ask you, if you say, hey, I want to join this church, and they don't ask you, you're a personal testimony of salvation.
	And if you've been scripturally baptized, that church doesn't hold to a Baptist biblical distinctive.
	A biblical distinctive is one that's going to say, Are you saved and scripturally baptized?
	Number two, number two, the Bible is the final authority.
	The Bible is the final authority.
	Listen to me very carefully.
	Look at me.
	this may shake a lot of people up, but we don't have a headquarters, we don't have a hierarchy, we don't have a main man over the church that tells all the churches what they should do and believe.
	Listen, we have one head and his name is Jesus, and he gave us one book, and it defines what we do and what we practice and how we believe.
	The Bible is I'm not the authority in the church.
	We don't have a we don't have an elder board in Nashville.
	We don't have a pontiff in Rome, we don't have a leadership team in California.
	We have Jesus and we have his word.
	And the word of God becomes the final authority in all faith and practice.
	The Bible says in 1 Timothy chapter 3 and verse number 16, all scriptures given by inspiration, it's breathed by God.
	And that scripture is breathed by God, is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness.
	What does that mean?
	It's doctrine, it tells you what is right.
	Reproof tells you how to get right.
	Correction is how how you uh how you keep right.
	Uh uh, doctrine is what is right, reproof is what is wrong, correction is how to get right, instruction and righteousness is how to stay right.
	The Bible tells you what is right, the Bible tells you what is wrong, the Bible tells you how to get right, the Bible tells you how to stay right.

	It is the it is the basis of all faith and practice.
	Listen, how do you know how your home should work?
	The Bible tells you how your home should work.
	How do you know how to be married?
	The Bible tells you how to be married.
	How do I raise my children?
	The Bible tells you how to raise your children.
	What does the church believe?
	It believes the Bible.
	What does the Bible believe?
	Let's get in it and preach it.
	That's why I try to preach through the Bible, verse by verse, and book by book, and we open up the Bible and we tell its wonderful truths.
	We preach the Bible.
	We don't come, we don't just hold to a tradition and a cult or the culture of the world.
	We don't just to adapt to some tradition, unless that tradition lines up with the scripture.
	And we don't adapt to the culture of the world around us.
	We go with the word of God.
	Everybody with me on that?
	So, born-again membership, Bible's final authority.
	How do I know I belong to the right kind of church?
	It's distinctive as two ordinances of the church.
	Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
	Baptism is our public identification with Christ.
	The Lord's Supper is an ongoing remembrance of Christ's sacrifice.
	Baptism is a way for us to submit to Christ, and then the Lord's Supper is a way to continually remember the sacrifice of Christ and keeping our lives in a remembrance of are we living for what is worthy of his death?
	Is this church really giving itself to what is worthy of the death of the Lord Jesus Christ?
	That's the ordinances.
	And there are two offices, the pastor and the deacons.
	The pastor is a spiritual shepherd who is to feed and lead and guide and protect the church.
	And the deacons are those spiritual servants who are to serve the church.
	God gives them distinct qualifications for both the pastor and the deacons of blameless and keepers of their homes and rulers of their families and upright and blameless.
	And men that avoid fornication and sin and they live a life above reproach and they...
	And they serve the church.
	The pastor serves in the word and prayer, and the deacons serve in a ministry to care for the needs of the church to help the church continue its unity.
	And so we have two offices, but ultimately we have one head.
	Now, here it is.
	This is the conclusion of the whole matter.
	Okay?
	I've given you a lot.
	This is really kind of, this is kind of academic today.
	We have the definition of a church, a called-out assembly, gathered together with Jesus Christ to carry out his commands.
	Number two, we have the distinctives of that church, the distinctives of that church, and that is what we these are the things that mark us as being part of the New Testament church.
	And now, what are the directives of the church?
	What's the directive of the church?
	What is the church to do?
	Is the church a money-making operation?
	No.
	Is the church is the church to be a social club and a place for people to have standing in the community?
	No.
	What is the church?
	The church number one exists to exalt the Savior.
	To exalt the Savior.
	We read a moment ago that the Bible says that we are to there's to be glory in the church forever and ever.
	World without end.
	The church is to glorify Jesus Christ.
	How do we do that?
	By preaching the word and through worship of God.
	Listen, listen.
	The church is not to acquiesce to the societal pressures.
	And the church is not to entertain the people.
	When we have our time of singing up here, and there's a there's a front line of singing and we're singing together.
	Listen, this is not performers performing for the audience.
	We are all performers performing to one audience.
	This is not us singing to you.
	This is us singing to him.
	He is to receive worship from the church.
	The way we hear and do and obey the word of God.
	Listen, Charles Adam Spurgeon said back in the 1860s, he was a great pastor in London.
	He said, You mark my words, the day will come when the church will no longer have shepherds feeding the sheep, but clowns entertaining the goats.
	And that all comes from the church losing sight that I am not here to build a name.
	I am to glorify a name.
	And the name is Jesus.
	So we're to exalt the Savior.
	Number two, the church directive is to equip the saints.
	What are we to equip the saints for?
	Ephesians chapter 4.
	The Bible says that God gave some apostles, some prophets, and some pastors and some teachers.
	Why?
	For the perfecting of the saints.
	Why?
	For the work of the ministry.
	The role of this church is to get people saved and then to perfect those people, to mature those people so that they can do the work of the ministry.
	Listen, do not ever, do not ever lie to yourself that just learning the word of God is equipping.
	Because knowledge puffs up.
	We're to learn the word of God so that we can give and we can grow.
	The church, the local church is the training ground for spiritual growth and service.
	Listen.
	I am not just doing equipping for you today so that you can you can know more about the Bible.
	I'm trying to equip you today so that we can grow together as a church and serve.
	There are so many things in this church that need that need leaders.
	We need workers and teachers and people to step in and to do the work of God.
	And that my job is to perfect you and to equip you to do that.
	And then lastly, to evangelize the lost.
	A church that is not serving in, a church that is not connected in.
	This is why one time, when people say, Well, hey, what can I do in the church?
	One of the first things that I will tell you to do is get into a connections group.
	Why?
	Because if I cannot be committed to a group within the church, I am not going to be committed to a ministry outside the church.
	There's got to be, there's got to be a training ground of commitment and fellowship within so that there can be strength and life to go without to evangelize the lost.
	This is the mission of the church.
	Listen, listen, I'm thankful for all kinds of parachurch organizations, but Jesus gave one institution, divine perpetuity.
	Upon this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
	The church has divine perpetuity.
	It has divine power, it has divine blessing, and nothing in this world can stand in the way of the church who is organized and energized by the Spirit of God to go into the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
	And I want to tell you.
	Alright, we're going to come back.

	What it is ain't exactly clear.

	I want to tell you, if there is one thing that the assassination of Charlie Kirk has shown us, is that the church has vacated its place in the public square.
	Charlie was a bold giver of the gospel.
	But unless the church is there to take those who have heard the gospel and to ground them and equip them and to give them good doctrine and fellowship and grounding.
	Where will that go?
	And I will tell you, the church has been out of the public square.
	The church is to evangelize the lost by two things.
	Number one, by exhibiting the love of God.
	The church is to love one another in such a way that the whole world will know that we are the disciples of Jesus Christ because we have loved one for another.
	There ought to be such a love in the church and a sacrificial love in the church that it stands in contradiction to the world's hatred for itself.
	The world is dog eat dog, but not believers.
	Believers is love.
	We bear burdens, we don't destroy each other, we bear burdens.
	We exhibit the love of God, and then watch this, we engage the culture as salt and light.
	Listen, salt and light are both elements that influence and impact what they come in contact with.
	Light drives out darkness, salt drives out impurities, and it preserves.
	God has called us as a church to be salt and light in this community.
	And I will tell you, how many of you believe that the world is lost and in darkness?
	How many of you believe that?
	You believe that.
	Okay?
	Well, the church is to be a light there, and I will tell you, that's going to be hated.
	And the church, the light from the church is going to be hated.
	The salt is going to be hated, but we respond with love and meekness and respect, but truth.
	I am not going to back up from the boldness of our message.
	If my position offends, that's one thing.
	My disposition should never offend.
	I don't need to walk around the world as a jerk.
	But I can love people and I can love them enough to tell them the truth.
	You know, people oftentimes to justify their own sin.
	People often say, you know, Jesus was a friend of sinners.
	You know, he hung out with the Pharisees, the publicans and the harlots.
	He did.
	And he did not come out one whit more of a harlot or a sinner or a Pharisee or a publican, but they came out transformed.
	Jesus went down and sat down at a little thief's table.
	Jesus did not come out one more bit of a thief, but that thief came out giving away all of his money.
	He was transformed.
	That's the power of the light in the soul.
	We are not influenced by the world.
	We influence the world.
	The church is to be the moral compass.
	The church is to be the guiding light to truth.
	And we can do that with meekness and respect.
	Listen to me very carefully.
	You know what this you know what the world needs to know?
	The world needs to know that if you died today without Jesus Christ, it doesn't matter what church you belong to, doesn't matter what you name as a religious background, doesn't matter what kind of good things you've done.
	Listen to me.
	If you die without Jesus Christ, you go to hell.
	That is take a break.

	Let's uh jump right over that.
	That is a confrontation of truth.
	And if I love people who are going to hell, I'm gonna tell them that.
	To die without Christ is to be eternally lost.
	But any man can come to Christ.
	And he will accept any man in any condition, and he will save you, and he will cleanse you, and he will wash you, and he will make you his own.
	Jesus said, Jesus said this, listen to this.
	Jesus said, I will in no, he said, He that cometh to me, I'll in no wise cast him out.
	You cannot come to Jesus Christ with too much sin.
	Or Jesus says, Well, I don't know what I'm gonna do with you.
	He's got enough grace and enough mercy to wash you and to forgive you.
	The blood of Jesus Christ will cleanse us from all sin.
	And who he washes is clean indeed, my friend.
	And he puts a new nature into you, and then he makes you his, and then he gives you a ministry to do.
	Listen very carefully.
	Here's the whole summation of the church.
	For by grace are you saved through faith, not of works, lest any man should boast.
	For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which he has before ordained that we should walk in them.
	What does that mean?
	A man comes to Jesus Christ by faith.
	And when he comes by faith, he becomes a partaker of grace, unmerited favor, unearned salvation, Undeserved.
	You're looking at a man today that didn't deserve to be saved, but I came in faith, and I got saved.
	And now that I am saved, he now creates in me a heart that is to a good work, that he has made me for, that I can now do things to his glory because I'm his.
	I am not working to go to him.
	He came to me.
	And now he saved me so that I can do a work for him.
	What a joy it is to be a part of the New Testament church.
	This is the church that Jesus has called us to be a part of and to be fruitful in.
	So I want to ask you a question.
	Do you know that you're saved?
	If you haven't been saved, you can be saved today.
	Right now, on the authority of God's word.
	You say, well, what do I have to do?
	I have to join the church.
	No.
	You've got to come to Christ.
	Not inviting you to join the church.
	I'm inviting you to come to Christ.
	Those of you who have come to Christ but you've never been baptized, you need to get baptized.
	Those of you who've been attending, but you've never joined, you need to get in.
	And um, and those of you that have joined and you're in, let's get busy growing and equipping and serving in the Lord Jesus Christ so that we can be a church that reaches outside the walls and reaches others for Jesus Christ.
	Father, I pray today.

	And uh I hope that uh everybody took something away from that positive.
	You know, that's why we do it.
	We like to start off on the right foot here, get the week going in a positive direction, and uh that's hopefully something we're able to do there with listening to that sermon.
	And um, so let's get in the news.
	We have stories that we want to cover here, like I said before.
	We started here, President Trump making historic news today, brokering the peace deal between countries, nations at war.
	Once again, we had the Israel Hamas peace negotiation that has now been made official.
	President Trump addressing the Israeli Knesset and uh informing them of this new arrangement, I guess, and they you know gave him a big uh set of applause, all good and well.
	Now he's heading over to Egypt, apparently, to do something similar and continue to help broker this deal, or at least administer the broker deal, I would guess would be the better way to put it.
	And yeah.
	So there you go.
	We have peace in the Middle East.
	What a what a long, strange trip it's been.
	And to be quite honest, you know, people are pointing out online a number of different things.
	Um obviously the anti-Israel, you know, critics are saying that this is all just another, you know, big uh what do they call it, dog and pony show?
	But uh because there's been still so much devastation in Gaza, many thousands and thousands of people are dead, and you know, this sort of glosses over that, but you have to have peace at some point, right?
	So you've got to give credit where it's due in that regard.
	Now, will this be a lasting peace?
	You know, one can only hope, obviously, and we'll see what the future holds with regard to that.
	But President Trump did make a series of remarks again in Israel.
	And I'd like to play a few of those remarks for you just to give you an idea of what's being said here.
	first let's listen to this clip about for rent ideal and we're gonna see if we can do something because this is crazy what's happening and we're not gonna have this anymore Neither the United States nor Israel bear the people of Iran any hostility.
	We merely want to live in peace.
	We don't want any looming threats over our heads, and we don't want to even think in terms of nuclear destruction.
	It's not going to happen.
	Never will happen.
	There's nothing that would do more good for this part of the world than for Iran's leaders to renounce terrorists, stop threatening their neighbors, quit funding their militant proxies and finally recognize Israel's right to existence.
	They have to do that.
	They have to do that.
	And to Iran.
	And as you know, this is not said out of weakness.
	That is no weakness.
	But I'm going to say this that we are ready when you are, and it will be the best decision that Iran has ever made.
	And it's gonna happen.
	And wow, the poor through the turns.
	I know a lot of Iranians.
	The black is down.
	The fans get up and they get a lot of things.

	I really, you know, looking at the the entirety of this situation with regard to the Israel peace deal.
	Yeah, I mean, you you know, blessed are the peacemakers.
	We're thankful that this is something that is happening.
	I mean, it's what we all have sort of wanted to happen.
	Now, will Israel be able to keep this, you know, peace agreement going?
	Will Hamas be able to keep it going?
	Will, you know, the Palestinians and uh the you know, that in that region be able to keep it going?
	I don't know.
	I don't know.
	Only God knows.
	But uh this seems to be a good step in the right direction.
	We were just listening to Trump making comments on Iran and trying to bring them to the table as well with regard to to brokering uh lasting peace agreement there.
	Um you can only hope, but it does bring up some interesting questions when you hear some of the remarks that Trump made earlier this morning, um he was on his way to Israel and he was being uh interviewed by the press on his uh Air Force One,
	the plane that he was uh flying on, and there was an interesting question about whether or not he thinks he's gonna go to heaven, and I gotta play this clip because it's it's just something I want to talk about when I heard it.
	Listen to this.
	You know, I'm being a little cute.
	I don't think there's anything gonna get me in heaven.
	Okay, I really don't.
	I think I think I'm not maybe heaven bound.
	I may be in heaven right now as we fly an Air Force one.
	I'm not sure I'm gonna be able to make heaven.
	But I've made life a lot better for a lot of people.
	And you know, as an example, had the w had the election of 2020 not been rigged, you would have millions of people living just in Russia Ukraine alone.
	That would have never happened.
	And it didn't happen for four years.
	And I knew Putin very well.
	It was the apple of his eye, all the things I've said would have never happened.
	We had an incompetent administration, we had an incompetent president, and because of a crooked election, millions of people are dead.
	And by the way, the Israeli thing was much harder to get settled because of the best administration.
	Okay.
	Yeah, so that was the comment people were kind of going over that earlier this morning.
	I've heard other takes on it.
	But I mean, I just had to say, you know, the first thing that stood out to me is, you know, how sad is that.
	And what a truly an indictment it is of the people who Trump surrounds himself with who are supposedly, you know, people of faith.
	And and, you know, it's a sad thing when somebody has that doubt.
	It's a sad thing when somebody has that unsurety of their immortal soul, and it's a sad thing when you hear a man like Trump say that in such a way as to, you know, seemingly believe that he has he will not be going to heaven because uh, I guess of something he's done or the life he's lived, of things he's been a part of.
	It I mean, I don't know what those things are, only God knows.
	But, wow.
	I was truly shocked when I heard that.
	The best commentary I heard on it so far is what an indictment of these, you know, uh ministers and and people who surround Trump who claim to be, you know, uh evangelizing him and and you know, sharing the gospel with him, that he won't believe.
	Now, again, if faith is a personal thing, he Trump's choice to believe or not to believe is up to him.
	Only he can do it, and it's not incumbent upon these you know ministers who surround him to, you know, make that choice for him or to force him to make that choice, of course.
	Not saying it in that in those terms, I'm just saying that you know, that's truly shocking, because I I did believe that uh Trump was uh more strong in his faith than that, and you know, perhaps he's gotten to a Point where he's seen enough things and been a part of enough things where he actually believes that you know his actions have uh you know made it so that he is incapable of being saved,
	but then it begs the question does he understand that you know again there's a choice that could be made there that could save his eternal soul, and is anybody telling him about that?
	You know, and that's my question, more overly is you know, who who are the people surrounding him?
	Why aren't they telling him about what his faith you know can actually do?
	And and this is again uh, you know, not to judge what's in another man's heart, but to hear those words spoken, you know, aloud or very disturbing.
	I know I've been saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.
	I know that there is a place in heaven for me there I gave my life to Christ, and he will deliver me through it.
	The eternal salvation is already promised.
	But um for Trump, you know, to say that really makes you wonder, you know, the who are the people surrounding him and what what's going through his mind to believe that uh what is what is he going through on a personal level?
	Sure, it's very difficult, particularly for a man of that age to be unsure.
	It really makes you wonder about a lot of things, and but with that being said, you know, I mean, good on Trump for negotiating this peace deal, right?
	It's it's uh, you know, you you you're not going to get to heaven by your works, it's by faith, but works are a product of faith.
	So faith without works is debt.
	And and that's been my opinion of the the whole thing from the beginning.
	It's just that we have uh faith that is by faith and faith alone.
	Do we enter, do we you know accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and and accept the gift and blessing of eternal salvation, but once you have that faith, the works will become apparent in your life, if it is true faith, in fact.
	So I I mean I don't need to get into this whole you know, sort of biblical debate here about it, you know, this sort of spiritual debate on it, but it is to me timely to discuss when you know, again, Trump's brokering this peace deal in the Middle East,
	which you know we've heard just today in the sermon we heard earlier, Pastor D. Miller talking about you know the the state of Israel and what its sort of role in everything is,
	and and again I humbly ask God for discernment to understand what Israel is right to understand if the Israel that has the seal of Solomon on the flag that is currently you know occupying the holy land, if that is in fact the Israel of the Bible or something else.
	And I and I don't know, and I wish I had the knowledge of of that to know better, but there have been so many things that I've learned, you know, about the history there that I have to make these questions.
	I have to ask these questions, and I pray I find clarity, I find discernment on that, and you know, I pray you guys find it as well.
	So we'll see.
	You know, we'll see.
	Somebody texted in and said, somebody texted in and said, our president is truly a child of God, the glory goes to God for this move of peace.
	Yeah, of course.
	Being thankful for the peace is something that I I'm I'm truly thankful for.
	Again, blessed are the peacemakers, and we're seeing peace being broken out.
	Now there's been a really atrocious war that has been taking place there, where many have died, many have been killed.
	Um that's not to say that we forget about all that, but it is to say that we give thanks for what peace is brought, and we carefully keep our minds set to the Lord and his wisdom and his judgment and his mercy.
	Because it ultimately at the end of the day, there are just too many things that you know I've seen personally in my own life to to so far that God has blessed me to be able to see that have led me to sort of believe that.
	Although you can oftentimes take things at face value, sometimes there's more to these things than meets the eye, and we have to always be cautiously skeptical as I try to be in in any in any regard, especially, you know, with regard to understanding what this peace, negotiated peace, will look like going into the future and if it will last.
	You can uh have all the the hope for the future, and that's positive, and that's good, but we can't know the future.
	Only God knows the future, and we'll see what happens with it.
	But that's where we're at today again.
	President Trump announcing the brokered peace agreement to the Israeli Knesset, and now he's on his way to Egypt, surely to deliver more remarks on the brokered peace agreement, which we'll see.
	We'll see if it lasts.
	So there are other stories that I'd like to get into here today, but I'd like to finish up with some of the comments Trump was making.
	Here's another one.
	This one was interesting.
	Trump was talking about the prosperity aspect of it.
	It's more obvious than ever that the productive and responsible nations of this region should not be enemies or adversaries.
	You should be partners and eventually even friends.
	And that's what's going to happen.
	I know it.
	Together you can stand against the forces of chaos.
	Yeah, you go ahead.
	that's an important point Because you can stand against the forces of chaos that threatened all of your interests, and it's always a big threat, always a big threat, and unleash incredible prosperity and opportunity for all the people of these lands.
	So, I mean, that's obviously a part of the deal.
	They're trying to broker that.
	And you know, one of the things that people are noticing I notice as well, immediately almost, is the body language on Trump.
	He does not look very comfortable where he's at.
	He doesn't look very comfortable uh in Israel.
	The sort of back and forth between him and Bibi was not very jovial as it may have as it is at sometimes a little more contentious, if you will.
	Uh Trump delivering these remarks is it's almost like he doesn't really want to be there.
	Do you know what I mean?
	But he's there, and we'll see how that all plays out.
	But when we come back, I want to get into some other stories, try to cover other aspects of the news, perhaps, and uh we'll just keep going.

	I'm your host Craig James, and I'd like to get into some other news stories today.
	Obviously, we have a lot more to sort of unpack and get through.
	One of the interesting things here that uh we saw is of course we have the government shutdown still in effect.
	Seems like the Democrats are uh not going to back down on their refusal to sign off on this uh I guess this funding bill that's you know one of the big contentious points that they're the points of contention really are the uh you know demands of the Democrats to have you know free health care for illegal immigrants at taxpayer expense.
	And look, we can all say what we want about it, but at the end of the day, that's what it is.
	It's so interesting though to watch how the media frames this and continues to frame it.
	They're saying that it's the Republicans, and you have the uh, you know, in intellectual elites of the Democrat Party like Jasmine Crockett and others, you know, going uh around and inciting more violence and more hatred, you know, Chuck Schumer.
	He uh, you know is is out there talking about using forceful uprisings, right, to combat what is happening here.
	Um he's talking about Letitia James, of course, but it's all can interconnected really at this point.
	And one of the funnier things, though, was you know, as the shutdown continues to loom, and Trump's got these uh pretty interesting plans at hand or in hand for these layoffs, apparently.
	That's going to be one of the big things that they're going to be engaging in here, I guess, is uh, you know, firing a bunch of these federal workers and during the shut up uh uh during the shutdown, which we'll see if that all comes through.
	But um Democrats keep going further and further off the deep end.
	And it's just one of those things as you watch it, you gotta you gotta just sort of realize where the pendulum is right now.
	You know.
	We are swinging further and further, you know, back from where we were previously, and that's a good thing, but again, it's a pendulum, so we know which direction it's going to be swinging as we go further.
	Another great example of, you know, sort of the the continued derangement of the media is Vice President J.D. Vance appearing on ABC's this week with George Slopodopoulos, one of the best nicknames ever given to anyone by Donald Trump.
	And they had a uh a bit of an exchange that people are talking about.
	Let's listen to it.
	I don't know what tape you're referring to, George.
	I saw media reports that Tom Holman accepted a bribe.
	There's no evidence of that.
	And here's George, why fewer and fewer people watch your program and why you're losing credibility, because you're talking for now five minutes with the Vice President of the United States about this story regarding Tom Holman, a story that I've read about, but I don't even know the video that you're talking about.
	Meanwhile, low-income women can't get food because the Democrats and Chuck Schumer have shut down the government.
	Right now, we're trying to figure out how to pay our troops because Chuck Schumer has shut down the government.
	You are focused on a bogus story.
	You're insinuating criminal wrongdoing against a guy who has done nothing wrong instead of focusing on the fact that our country is struggling because our government's shut down.
	Let's talk about the real issues, George.
	I think the American people would benefit much more from that than from you going down some weird left-wing rabbit hole where the facts clearly show that Tom Homan didn't engage in any criminal wrongdoing.
	Uh it's not a weird left-wing rabbit hole.
	I didn't insinuate anything.
	I asked you whether Tom Homan accepted $50,000, as was heard on an audio tape recorded by the FBI in September 2024, and you did not answer the question.

	No, and I think I said that I don't know next.

	Other stories I wanted to get into here today include this idea of uh, you know, what's coming out now.
	More and more is coming out about the people who are involved with, you know, all of these operations that were meant to set up Trump.
	Here's uh John Solomon touching on it.

	A short while ago, Justin News obtained this email.
	This is a very important email.
	It comes from the former CIA director, Mike Morrell.
	Yes, the guy that organized that letter from the 51 intelligence professionals who tried to fake you into thinking that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation when it wasn't.
	Uh it is between him and John Brennan, one of the signatories.
	You know who John Brennan is.
	He was Obama's CIA director, right?
	He's the guy that told Obama, hey, Hillary Clinton is doing a dirty trick on Donald Trump called Russia Collusion.
	Well, this is just before the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hunter uh and uh Joe Biden.
	Hunter Biden's laptop is uh is flinging out there.
	This is what Mike Morel, former CIA director, tells his f successor, John Brennan, hey, sign this letter because I'm quote trying to give the campaign, particularly during the debate on Thursday, a talking point to push back on Trump on this issue.
	A man with a security clearance, a man with the title of CIA director, knew that he wasn't creating an intelligence product.
	Uh uh American civic duty with 51 people, he was trying to create a political moment.
	Damning evidence.
	We're We'll try to find out if Congress has this letter, but this is a very important piece.
	It is the ultimate proof that what went out on that letter was a political dirty trick coordinated with the Biden campaign.
	Well, there you go.
	I mean, not that it's not that we didn't know that already, but it is worth considering that the more the the more we are lied to, the more the truth comes out.
	There are so many people who are involved in this conspiracy and never forget the 51 intelligence officials who literally orchestrated an effort to undermine you know the election and and succeeded to a large degree by deceiving the American people in a very overt and malicious way.
	You know, with regard to the letter, i remember they told us that it had all the whole that the Hunter Biden laptop had all the hallmarks of a Russian disinformation operation, right?
	Now they knew it wasn't.
	They knew it was real, and they knew that they were lying to the public with that statement, or misleading the public at minimum with that statement, right ahead of the election.
	And it turns out now, in the emails that have been obtained, the people who were signed on, you know, the CIA directors and whatnot, they all knew that they were just providing campaign talking points for Joe Biden to use against Trump in the election.
	And I personally just have come to a point where I am uh I'm just uh at a point where I'm I'm over it.
	I'm over it.
	You know, can somebody get arrested?
	I mean, I've been doing this for too long.
	Too long to to you know, not realize what needs to happen.
	But um hopefully these people will keep getting arrested.
	You know, Comey has had his arraignment.
	Looks like John Bolton's gonna be coming up on charges here, and he's gonna be uh arrested, and um we'll see who else makes the list.
	People are saying John Brennan, people are saying Jim's James Clapper.
	But, you know.
	At the end of the day, we all know what needs to happen with all these people.
	They all need to face consequences for their actions.
	And uh, I truly do believe that this would be a good thing.
	And if it happens, uh it won't be soon enough, right?

	One of the stories I wanted to get into, Tucker had a great chance to sit down, Representative Tim Burchett.
	Over the the weekend, I guess, and or at least that's when this episode dropped was on Friday, Thursday or Friday.
	And they talked about a lot of interesting things, including, you know, what's happening in Congress with regard to the corruption, right?
	And uh I want to play this clip.
	This is Tucker and Tim Burchett going over uh Congress right now.
	Listen to this.
	You said it uh earlier in our conversation that members of Congress were compromised.
	What did you mean by that?
	Well, I was on can I can uh name a rival of yours, or maybe I don't know.
	I want you to name anything that comes to mind.
	I was on the Benny show.
	And it was early on, and Benny and I become friends.
	I didn't realize he was so close to Charlie, Charlie Kirk, but he um uh but he had me on early on, and I and I I didn't honestly didn't know who he was, and he asked me about that.
	Um you mentioned recently in an interview that there may be some members of Congress who are personally compromised by this, and they don't want the truth to get out.
	Can you expound on that?
	Yeah, 100%.
	You got powerful people and they write the big checks.
	Well, let's be honest.
	In powerful people in this country, they write the big checks.
	And they, you know, they're the ones out on the tarmac when the president comes and visits and and whichever party they're in.
	They always either out on the tarmac or in the private room.
	They're the ones that write the big checks.
	They don't care who's in, they hate this country, they hate what we're about, but they love their portfolios and they love their money more than they do anything else, and they protect it, and they protect the people that that do that.
	And by doing so, you know, the old honeypot, the Russians do that, and I'm sure members of Congress have been caught up.
	Why in the world would would good conservatives vote for crazy stuff like that what we've been seeing out of Congress?
	It's not works.
	You're visiting, you're out of the country or out of town, or you're in a motel or bar at in DC, and some whatever you're you're into, women or men or whatever, comes up and they're very attractive and they're laughing at your jokes and and they and you're buying them a drink.
	Next thing you know, you're in the motel room with them naked, and next thing you know, you know, you're about to make a key boat, and what happens?
	Some well-dressed person comes up and whispers in your ear, hey man, there's tapes out on you.
	Or were you in a motel room on whatever with whoever, and then you're like, uh, and said, you really ought not to be voting for this thing.
	That and I said, Well, I said, here's the way it works.
	It's the way it's worked in the past.
	The Russians even have a name for you, you know, the honey pot.
	You um, and I don't go on overseas trips much.
	I've been to one trip, and that was prior.
	Uh I've been on one Codell um, that's I went to the Mexican border, and I went down one day with um Andy Biggs, who's no who's a good Mormon, who's hopeful, maybe be the governor of Arizona.
	But he um he said, Burchett, we're going on this trip.
	I know you don't go on these things, but it's just it's it's just it's one like you'd like.
	We'll go down there and back, stay at an awful motel, we'll eat some cheap Mexican food, some barbecue, and we'll put you on a plane back to Tennessee.
	And I said, All right, Andy, I'll do it.
	And um, but you know, that's about it that I've done.
	And so what happens is you're you're you're overseas, you're being told how great you are.
	You're sitting at a bar, and somebody and they know what you're into, guys, gals, combination thereof, drugs, whatever, and they'll hook you up, and you're thinking you're the stud.
	You're the you're you know, your wife's away, nobody'll know halfway around the world.
	You end up sleeping with somebody, and then you know, you're out next day you're flying back to America, you know, you're you're back front row at the church, you know.
	And then um, you're getting ready to make a key vote.
	And somebody comes up and whispers in your ear, hey man, are you in a motel room with a girl in you know Istanbul or something?
	And you're thinking, oh crap.
	He goes, Man, we don't want that out.
	And he goes, No, no, no, no, no, we don't we're not gonna put that out.
	I said, if you can help us on this little bill, though, you know.
	Now that's the way they used to do it.
	And I'm not so certain they don't do that now.
	And it's funny when I did that show with Benny, the next and oh, I caught hell.
	I caught hell.
	You said that.
	I said that.
	And members said, Oh, you can't be saying that stuff, Burchant.
	Why?
	Yeah.
	Truth hurts, I guess, for some people and other people.
	And you ever, by the way, just parenthetically ever been attacked for saying something false or only true things.
	Only true things.
	Yeah.
	Only true things.
	So I'm it's funny.
	The next week, Tucker, there was this huge and I said it always gets covered up, and everything gets covered up, and then somebody owns you.
	That's compromise.
	That'll be the title of my book if I ever write about Tim Burchett's Compromised Washington.
	Because that's what happens or has happened in the past.
	The very next week, a Chinese prostitution ring was busted in where?
	Washington, D.C. And who are the and it was listed in the paper.
	Who is their client list?
	High-ranking officials in government, elected officials, and lobbyists.
	Now to me that that that's all kinds of red flags going up all over the place.
	Well, and then the next week, the story disappeared.
	Yeah.
	Of course it did.
	But I think what they do now mostly is they have jobs.
	If you look at these guys and gals, and uh, you know, they're they have a wife and or girlfriend that'll work in one of these industries.
	Um 100,000 to a multi-billion dollar corporation is nothing.
	I mean, it's it's an extra supply of paper clips or something.
	I think that's how they do it now.
	You know, yeah.
	I thought that was a good breakdown of it.
	You know, and that's what they're you know, used to be the honey pots, now they just buy them.
	You know, you just collect politicians and put them in your portfolio.
	You know?
	Because if you can't if you can't blackmail them, it's much easier and and less risky to just buy them.
	Right?
	So that's what that's what's happening.
	That seems to be where we're at.
	But uh listen.
