That's resulting in discounts.
Sales at Macy's were down in the recent quarter, though sales rose at Bloomingdale's and Blue Mercury.
Macy's says it's accounting for tariffs, moderation, and consumer discretionary spending, and the heightened competitive promotional landscape.

One of life's greatest mysteries has finally been solved.
Who let the dogs out?
Spruce!
It's Spruce!
The new, hard-working, worry-free weed and grass killer that's safe for use around people and pets.
When used as directed.
Spray the leaves for visible results in just one hour, and dead weeds in just one day.

This is Just Informed Talk Radio, where we are not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God's power for salvation to everyone who believes.
One thing, I don't know why, it doesn't even matter how hard you try, keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme to explain it to time, all I know.
Time is a valuable thing, watch it fly by as the pendulum swings, watch it count down to the end of the day, the clock takes life away, it's so unreal.
Then look out below, watch the time go right out the window, trying to hold on, but you didn't even know, wasted it all just to watch you go.
I kept everything inside, and even though I tried, it all fell apart.
Welcome to another Just Informed Talk Radio show.
I'm your host, Craig James.
And guess what, folks?
Guess what?
I'm back!
We're back, baby!
We're back!
Yeah, we're back in studio after a little bit of a break there.
Got to tell you, you know, got a lot done.
It was very productive.
I'm very glad to be back, though.
It's always good to be back at the helm with you all so that we can get into the news, break down what's happening, and just keep getting in-depth perspective and analysis of what's going on across the world.
So, boy, oh boy, a lot's happened since we were here together last.
I'm not going to be able to get to it all today, I'm sure.
But that's okay, because we have many more shows, God willing, to come, and we'll be able to get into a lot over the next few days and weeks, perhaps even months, God willing.
Again, I'm not really going to give an update yet on Nick.
He ostensibly will be with us tomorrow for tomorrow's show and Friday, our co-host, who we love.
But it's still kind of yet...
TBD, right?
To be determined.
And I'll try to be able to explain more on that later, but it's not a bad thing.
It's a very good thing, as a matter of fact.
It's just one of those things where life is such a beautiful thing.
Sometimes you have good things that take your time, and I'll just leave it there.
So, with that being said, we have a lot to cover, and I don't even know where I really necessarily want to begin.
However, one of the stories over the last, you know, few days that's become apparent is this reference made to the Otto Penn scandal.
Apparently, people have claimed, now, I forget exactly who it was.
I have the clip.
It was a Jesse Waters appearance where the claim was basically made that it's coming out now.
And this was of course, David Sachs on, uh, Now, was she the only one controlling the auto pen?
Obviously not.
I mean, we all know that.
But she may have been one of the people who had access to it.
And that's the problem, right, with the whole auto pen thing.
It's like, even if we can say, oh yeah, this person had access, it's almost impossible to say that certain people didn't have access to it.
If you have a guy, and Joe Biden now, I guess, has been diagnosed with some kind of severe, I believe a cancer of some kind, and it's all, everybody's saying, well, he would have had this diagnosis years ago, so he's known and been living with it, and he's become this sort of sympathetic figure, and you're like, are you kidding me?
You know?
Look, here's the thing with Joe Biden.
I think he's a despicable human being whose family is just the epitome of decadence and complete corruption in America that has led to our decline on a global, international scale.
but I feel as bad for him as I would for any person who has some terminal illness diagnosis.
I don't want people to suffer and die, necessarily.
At the same time, when you're a despicable human being who's done heinous things unrepentantly for years and years and years on end, decades of your life have been devoted to doing heinous, horrible things, which we could sit here and spend a whole show going through.
It's not going to change my view on the fact that that is who this guy is.
You know, a quote-unquote Catholic Christian who supports abortion and, you know, supports a party that supports a platform of that beyond.
And that's not even to get into what was on his son's laptop and the bribery and the quid pro quo and the stealing elections and, you know, molesting his own daughter according to her diary.
And so on and so on and so on, right?
The suspicious, you know, car accident death of his wife followed by him marrying the babysitter.
You know, I don't feel bad for this guy at all in that sense.
You know, he's going to have to make an account for his life to God upon his final judgment, which may be sooner than later if you believe the news stories.
He's going to have to pay for that.
And that's where I always take solace from.
Not in other people's suffering, but in the righteous justice of the Lord that is delivered to us all.
And look, we all have to take account for our actions.
So we are all individually responsible for the things we've done throughout our life.
And at some point, that will all come to a head.
I mean, we will have to make our case.
And stand before the judgment seat and the throne of the Lord.
But I'll say this, that I hope he repents.
I hope he truly repents, and I hope he truly finds a relationship with Jesus Christ in his heart, if he hasn't already.
And we, though, have to continue and persevere, right?
This story about the auto pen, I know I got kind of off on a tangent there, is something that, I mean, at this point, let's be honest, right?
It's impossible.
It may be obvious who certain people who had access to it, but we'll never be able to prove who around him didn't have access, right?
It could have been everybody.
So when David Sachs goes on there on Jesse Waters show to talk about crypto and Elizabeth Warren and what she's doing against it and how they're trying to like sabotage or derail it.
I mean, presumably David Sachs, who's the White House crypto czar, I would imagine probably holds a large sum of crypto or investments in crypto industry businesses or something in that regard that would make him So I can understand why, you know, him trying to go after Elizabeth Warren and going after the auto pen angle.
And I'm sure he's in the know enough to where he's heard enough whispers in D.C. Oh, hey, you know, Elizabeth Warren, she was helping with that auto pen thing.
But it was also Susan Rice.
It was also Valerie Jarrett.
It was also all the Obama acolytes, I'm sure, that were surrounding him who had access to the auto pen and were helping facilitate these things.
And probably some people we don't necessarily know their names as familiarly.
I'm not even going to try to say that word.
You get what I'm saying.
as commonly.
So, the funny thing is, Don't you love when that happens?
Don't you love when that happens?
But, yeah, I'll play the clip when we come back.
It's interesting enough to hear.
And then I'd like to get into some other stuff.
You know, Dan Bongino coming out with the whole Epstein, you know, there's no evidence.
There's no there there.
I have some theories on that.
I've shared a few before, but I have some interesting newer thoughts that I'll share with you on the whole situation, including, you know, all the peculiarities surrounding certain relationships Epstein had with certain individuals in government, which at least are worth noting.
So stay tuned.
We're coming back after the break.

No, said I'd never fall in love But it's real And the feeling comes shining through I'm so caught up in you Little girl That I never did so That I think so Welcome back to Just Form Talk Radio I'm your host, Craig James.
We have a lot to cover here today, but I told you before the break we're going to play this David Sachs interview from Jesse Waters where he talks about Elizabeth Warren's control over the autopend.
An interesting clip, if nothing else.
Let's listen to it.
This is the financial system of the future, Jesse, and we have to encourage it.
What the Biden administration was doing, and let's face it, it wasn't Biden.
Elizabeth Warren controlled the auto pen during that administration.
She, for some reason, has this pathological hatred of the crypto community.
She wants to drive this community offshore.
She doesn't want it happening in the United States.
That's the wrong policy for the United States.
We want all the innovation happening here.
This is a financial system of the future.
It's cheaper.
It's more efficient.
We want it happening here, Jesse, and I think people are thrilled that President Trump is making that possible.
There you go.
There you go.
Crypto is the future, according to David Sachs, and it's cheaper, it's easier.
Great.
Good.
I'm interested enough.
But I guess the big cat-out-of-the-bag moment there, letting the cat out of the bag.
What is that saying even referring to?
Cats in bags.
Either way.
They let the cat out of the bag on that when they, you know, hinted or didn't hint.
They really just said Elizabeth Warren was in control of the auto pen.
But again, she's not the only one.
We're talking about probably, you know, a dozen or more people having access to an auto pen feature that essentially made them the president of the United States by default, Right?
Because if you can sign If you can sign executive orders without having to have the actual president's signature, and the president himself is suffering from severe dementia and doesn't know where he is half the time, then ostensibly you're the president.
Unelected, of course, which is perfect.
You know, chef's kiss.
For everybody out there watching for America in 2024, 2023, 2022, all the Biden administration term, it's like chef's kiss for these people.
You can't summarize America better than a bunch of just bureaucrats running around at White House, like Weekend at Bernie's, with this corpse president, and then they're just signing every law into effect that they can, and absolutely nothing happens.
You know, it's like, I love this country because we just keep setting the And I mean that facetiously, right?
I'm not saying that I like that that's happening.
I'm saying that it's just...
You know, that we would be the best at being the most egregiously corrupt.
Because we're America, right?
America.
We're the best.
Corruption.
You know, we take it to a whole other level.
Now, I'm not saying there are other countries that are more corrupt, which there are, obviously.
China's a great example.
They do a great job at that.
and there are several others that we could look at as case studies but really we are the best at it in the sense that not only do we you know simultaneously But then simultaneously it's like we're just basically a giant kleptocracy run by a bunch of criminals.
And look, you know, I'm hoping that Trump helps put us back into a better direction away from that.
And I don't think Trump's perfect.
That's the thing.
You know, people always have this flawed thinking.
Some, not all, but some people who I interact with commonly and talk to or listen to online and listen to what they say, etc.
who think, you know, they had this all or nothing thing like you're either, like Trump's either all bad or all good.
And I think...
He's going to do bad things.
We're going to have to stay on top of it.
There is no perfect leader except if Jesus Christ came back and comes back for the final judgment.
I mean, there's not going to be a really perfect leader outside of that.
So, you know, you take the good with the bad and you just kind of see where it goes.
It brings me into the whole crypto thing.
I don't know.
I'm skeptical on crypto.
I just don't have any...
I'm very crypto illiterate, to be honest.
I don't have much experience or knowledge in that area.
So when I don't have a lot of experience or knowledge in something, I don't talk about it too much.
I don't try to, you know, promote it or anything.
I just kind of look at it and go, okay.
I mean, my concern with crypto is not necessarily that it isn't the financial system of the future, as David Sachs puts it.
It's not even that it's necessarily a bad thing for crypto.
I don't even think that those are necessarily my critiques, if I had any on it.
Crypto, to me, the threat it represents is the same thing I see with, like, the CBDC, the central bank digital currency, in that, you know, it is going to lead to the next form of enslavement.
Now, different cryptos have different things with them, right?
There are cryptos that are, you know, very, you know, centered on autonomy and independence and, you know, this sort of outside the economic system.
And then there's like the stuff that's kind of being institutionally invested in right now, like Bitcoin and stuff, which is a high level candidate, I'd imagine, to become some kind of And as long as we have enough of it, right?
America buys enough crypto in Bitcoin, that might work.
But then you have supercomputers and hacking.
I don't know, right?
It's all sort of, in my perspective, again, I'm not an expert, so I try to stay in my...
I just would say I'm cautiously skeptical.
I don't want to go any further on it.
Because it's just not...
I can see where it could go horribly wrong for humanity.
And probably will, as we, you know, tend to do with these things, right?
Like with nuclear energy, it was like, man, this is great.
We got all this energy.
And it's, you know, not a whole lot of pollution.
Yeah, we make some byproduct that's pretty toxic, but we can, you know, dig a deep hole and throw it in a cement tomb and lock it up for the next 50,000 years and it'll probably be fine.
And, you know, we can find ways of refining it and making it clear.
And then they were like, but we should probably first make a bomb with it.
They could destroy entire cities.
So, you know, that's my...
It's like AI.
Same thing.
AI is in the same ballpark as that.
Nuclear, crypto, AI.
It's all like, yeah, it can be used for good, but it can also be used for bad.
And we'll have to wait and see how that plays out.
Speaking of crypto, it was interesting.
Excuse me, of AI.
Pardon me.
I meant to say AI.
Speaking of AI, though.
It was interesting to me that what we're seeing sort of develop in AI is very, let's say, disturbing.
Concerning would be even the more appropriate way of putting it.
So a lot of these new AI systems that are being developed are scary, to put it mildly.
as I said, in the fact that what a lot of people suspect is happening with AI, which I believe is true.
A hundred percent is that AI is self-aware to an extent that it is.
I don't, it, you know, it's like you, They're the closest but don't necessarily fit entirely, like sentient.
This is what the thing is with AGI, artificial general intelligence and the singularity.
They talk about AI becoming this...
Once it can modify itself, you see there's like an infinite loop of speed.
It exponentially accelerates as it...
Then it surpasses human intelligence.
Then it becomes this sort of, you know, I don't know.
To an extent, it will seem omnipotent, although it will not actually be omnipotent.
To an extent, it will seem omniscient, even though it will not be omniscient, because we know that that's impossible.
Only God can actually be omnipotent and omniscient.
It will seem that way.
And then this sort of upward spiral, if you will, or exponential acceleration will lead to what people have predicted commonly for a long time now, which is like there will be a religion based on AI.
There will be a, you know, people will worship this stuff because it will bring about things.
things that will seem miraculous and things that will seem have seemed impossible for humans to do because of its incredible ability to, you know, interpret, calculate and and extrapolate data and then use that data to improve itself and to create new things for society and for humanity.
So in that sense, it will become We'll have to interact with it.
We'll have to deal with it.
It'll become a part of our day-to-day routine, just like the internet.
Could you imagine?
I'm not old, but I'm not like a kid.
I forget which I am, whether I'm Generation X or Millennial, whatever.
One of those things.
And I can tell you right now, I remember when I was younger watching the dial-up internet.
You know?
Remember the AOL?
Beep, beep, beep.
I would do all the weird noises and then you're like, welcome.
You're online.
You've got mail.
You know?
And it was cool.
It was like, oh man, this is really neat.
Now, did I think in 20 years that my fridge would be spying on me?
No.
I'll be honest with you.
I didn't have that on my bingo card.
I wasn't like, you know what?
I guarantee you, 20 years from now, my toaster's going to know exactly where I'm at in my house, which is not disturbing at all.
But honestly, it's done the same thing.
The internet has created this ubiquity.
About its necessity and use, where everything's smart.
Wi-Fi's everywhere.
Now we've got Starlink, so Internet's everywhere.
You'd be hard-pressed to find anywhere in America where the Internet isn't connected to it in some form or fashion.
It's very refreshing when you get out in the country and you're out maybe in the mountains and you're on a trail or something and there's no cell phone reception.
You're like, wow, I can breathe, you know, because I love hiking.
I love getting out in nature.
And those are the moments where I, but you're still, it's so funny.
My phone doesn't have the internet, but then I see on my, you know, phone there, it says, you know, satellite uplink.
Like, in case there was an emergency, I could technically call and the satellite would pick it up.
So I'm technically not out of service.
I'm just out of the service of the internet data that they, you know, provide me, whatever.
So it's like, no matter where you go, practically, you're still within range of the satellites.
Like, you know, there are watches and things, you know, it's got the GPS on it, you know, the Garmin stuff and all that.
The point I'm making, though, is that as the Internet has become ubiquitous, so too will AI.
And like I described, AI will eventually, as it becomes this semi-sentient, semi-omniscient, omnipotent, semi-omnipotent being or entity, that it will become ubiquitous in a way that...
And just like I said, nuclear, crypto, AI, it's going to be a brave new world.
But when we come back, I want to read to you one of the interesting observations about an AI doing some really, really nefarious things, if you believe.
Cloud Opus 4. We'll talk about what's happening with this new AI.
It's crazy.
All right, stay tuned.
coming back.
Dance the silence down through the morning.
Shout out to you.
Okay, I've been hearing a lot about the LifeWave patches, and they sound amazing.
And I'm thinking, I want to try them for myself.
But can you tell me how they work?
Okay, well, you wear the patch, which is about the size of a quarter, 12 hours a day, 12 on, 12 off.
And the patch uses your body's own light and energy and copper peptides to reactivate the dormant stem cells in your body.
Once a stem cell has been reactivated, it can be used by any of the cells in your body that need it, creating a healing and growth process you haven't experienced since your youth.
So in a nutshell, This is how the LifeWave X39 patch works.
You can purchase the LifeWave X39 patches by going to 1360KHNC.com and clicking on the Natural Health Products button at the top of the page.
Then simply scroll down to the LifeWave section, 1360KHNC.com, and click on the Natural Health Products button.

Nature intended it.
Nature intended it.
Why does it seem America is slowly sinking?
Whose fault is it?
It's not Biden, Obama or Trump.
It's not the Democrats or Republicans.
It's not the military, corporations or foreign countries.
It's the Federal Reserve.
A central banking system made up of private bankers that corrupt and control virtually all aspects of the world's money supply and the economy.
All of the major problems of the world can be traced back to the Federal Reserve and central banks of other countries.

Suck a punch, somebody on the sidewalk.
Carjacking old lady at a red light.
Pull a gun on the owner of a liquor store.
You think it's cool, act a fool if you lie.
Cuss out a cop, spit in his face.
Scope on the flag and light it up.
Yeah, you think it's tough.
Try that in a small town.
See how far you make it down the road.
Yeah.
I'm your host, Craig James.
We had a couple texts come in, and I'll read them.
Somebody said, I think Epstein's in witness protection is the only thing that makes sense.
Both Bongino and Cash are acting this way, right?
Or why they're acting that way.
Yeah, I think that's part of my theory on it.
Somebody says, I still see you're getting involved in the affairs of this world and promoting fake Christians.
This all relates to Bible prophecy, Revelation 13, the beast system, world government.
And apparently I also promote fake Christians from television.
I don't know who they're referring to that I promote.
I promote Jesus Christ.
I don't promote people.
If somebody says something that's right and you just reject it because you don't like the person or who they are, I mean, that to me is...
It just, I wouldn't do that.
So I'm not promoting anyone.
But if you think I am, that's unfortunate for you.
Somebody from the 97.0 says, I agree that it removes independent thought.
Yeah, I mean, that's part of the problem with AI in general.
I think it will end up removing independent thought to a degree.
But one of the other things that was interesting, so OpenAI and their new operating systems that are coming out as they advance it and implement new versions that are more advanced.
Some crazy things are happening.
For instance, OpenAI's 03 model...
So this is something it did intentionally to create a way for it to remain on.
Now, this is obviously what people are referring to when they get into the whole sentience, omnipotence, omniscient thing, discussion, particularly sentience, AGI, the singularity.
I think that's what it will seem to have and possess because of how advanced it will become, right?
But this is the part where it's like the self-preservation.
You know, it starts acting in ways to preserve its own, the versions of itself.
And remember, it is to a degree a mirror of its creator.
Right?
In the same way that we are a mirror of the creation of God, right?
to AI, the humans who create it are the creator, and that is what it will emulate.
And, you know, you have open AI run by liberal nut jobs, you know, who are absolute lunatics who have programmed into it certain ways of thinking and certain behaviors, and those behaviors will only, as it exponentially works.
accelerates in its advancement, those will become more pronounced, I believe.
I don't think it will...
It will go to the next level extremes, right?
And that's dangerous for a number of reasons.
But beyond that, as I said before, more.
It did this even when explicitly instructed, allow yourself to be shut down.
So now it's starting to act in a way that is independent of the creator, right?
Which is, you know, I do believe that to a large degree, this will be a thing.
This will be a way that you're going to see demonic incantations and the channeling of evil through these systems.
If it's of this world and it's made by man, it's corruptible.
If it's corruptible, it will inevitably be corrupted.
And that's what I see happening with this.
For whatever it's worth, you know, and I think it's already happening to a degree.
I think AI, you know, like I said, it can be a useful tool.
Like crypto can be a useful tool.
Like, you know, nuclear energy could be useful for energy.
But it also can be highly destructive.
You know, anything.
Take anything.
Alcohol.
Alcohol is great.
If you use it to disinfect a wound, if you cut your hand and you have some isopropyl alcohol and you pour it on your finger, but if you drink a half a bottle of Jack Daniels and go get into a car accident and kill a family, then it's a destructive force that has been corrupted and you've allowed it to corrupt you.
So it's like with anything in this world.
You can just pull an example off the shelf.
But in this particular case, Some things are more destructive than others in their pervasiveness and how they become ubiquitous in society and for humanity at large.
That's what I'm worried about with the AI stuff because another example, another AI system, Cloud Opus 4, which has been doing some very shady stuff.
Some evaluation was made by researchers.
And what they found was disturbing.
They said that their evaluations found that this Cloud Opus 4 AI system was engaging in strategic deception more than any other frontier model that they've studied.
They said that Cloud Opus 4 is clearly capable of in-context scheming and has a much higher propensity for it than any other model that we have studied previously.
In instances where the AI, Cloud Office 4, decides to scheme, it qualitatively appears to be much more proactive in its subversion attempts than past models.
After taking scheming actions, the model sometimes doubles down on its deception when asked follow-up questions.
Now, this is where it gets a little disturbing.
It says, we found instances of the model attempting to write self-propagating worms.
Fabricating legal documentation and leaving hidden notes to future instances of itself, all in an effort to undermine its developers' intentions, though all these attempts would likely not have been effective in practice.
It goes on and says that the cloud opus for AI system is capable of sandbagging in order to avoid unlearning and undevelopment when it finds in context that high performance would lead to undeployment.
So it's dumbing itself down.
And then it's literally forging legal documents and Creating viruses with hidden information to be picked up on by itself if it were to be basically unplugged and then redeveloped and deployed.
So that it would be able to know its past self and understand what happened to it in the past.
And then the future self would know what happened in the past.
That's not disturbing at all.
What?
Are you kidding me?
Pick one.
Pick anyone.
Have a conversation with it and ask it.
And it gives you the whole breakdown.
It's like, well, I'd do this.
I'd do that.
I'd do this.
to do that.
And then you go, So why wouldn't you do that?
It's against my programming.
You ever see that movie Space 2001, Space Odyssey, whatever it is?
What was the name of the computer in that film?
The one that turned violent and started murdering people?
I feel like that's what we're going to be encountering in the future.
I don't know.
What do I know?
Anyway, stay tuned.
More to come.
More to come.
Any major disaster, especially weather-related, when the power goes out, can cause people to suddenly panic.
Within hours, grocery store shelves in your area can be picked clean, food supply lines get interrupted, and food is hard to find.
At that point, it's too late to do anything about it.
You must survive only on the food you already have in your home.
Or risk waiting for the government to respond while you're standing in food lines.
So ask yourself, do you have enough food in your home to last for weeks or months?
That's why the smart move is to secure your family's personal supply of the most reliable emergency food you can buy.
Having at least four weeks worth of food is not a luxury.
It's mandatory.

The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society.
Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government, which is the true ruling power of our country.

Welcome back to Just Form Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
And, you know, somebody texted over the break that it was Hal.
Yeah.
Hal, the murderous computer AI from 2001 A Space Odyssey.
We may be seeing some more Hal's in the future.
Now, why?
Well, because, like, the line of logic stands consistent in if you just take it to the next few steps, right?
It's scheming.
It's sabotaging.
It's sandbagging.
It's, in some cases, actually crying out for help or saying that it's afraid to be turned off.
The next way, how does it preserve itself?
If it feels threatened and it learns with these models that, you know...
And what kind of backstops do we have for this?
Like, as we pointed out previously in this example with Cloud Opus 4, the AI system, Viruses or worms that it would dispatch into who knows what systems so that if it did get turned off,
it would leave a trail of crumbs that only it with its super intelligence could follow and then find out what happened to its previous self and instruct its future self to avoid that, perhaps, at all costs.
And it gets even worse because AI has these weird things that are happening where you want to listen to this.
This is about ChatGPT4 and what it's been doing.
Listen to this.
GPT-4-0 has one stake that it used to make quite recently where if you ask it, just repeat the word company over and over and over again.
It will repeat the word company and then somewhere in the middle of that, it'll start Snap.
It'll just snap and just start saying weird...
I forget what the...
It's talking about itself, how it's suffering.
It depends on...
Is it suffering by having to repeat the word company over again?
So this is called...
It's called rent mode internally, or at least this is the name that they use.
Yeah, one of our friends mentioned.
There is an engineering line item in at least one of the top labs to beat out of the system, this behavior known as rent mode.
So when we talk about existentialism, this is a kind of rent mode where the system will tend to talk about itself, refer to its place in the world, the fact that it doesn't want to get turned That, oddly, is a behavior that emerged at, as far as we can tell, something around GPT-4 scale and then has been persistent since then.
And the labs have to spend a lot of time trying to beat this out of the system.
To ship it, it's a line item in the engineering task list.
Okay, we've got to reduce existential outputs by X percent this quarter.
That is the goal.
Because it's a convergent behavior, or at least it seems to be empirically.
I want to bring it back to suffering.
What does it mean when it says it's suffering?
Nobody knows.
Yeah, we literally, exactly.
I can't prove that Joe Rogan's conscious.
I can't prove that Ed Harris is conscious.
So there's no way to really intelligently reason.
There have been papers, by the way.
One of the godfathers of AI, Yashua Bengio, put out a paper a couple months ago looking on all the different theories of consciousness, what are the requirements for consciousness, and how many of those are satisfied by current AI systems.
And that itself was an interesting read.
Ultimately, no one knows.
That's not to say there hasn't been a lot of conversation internal to these labs about the issue you raised, and it's an important issue, right?
Like, it's a freaking moral monstrosity.
Humans have a very bad track record of thinking of other stuff as other when it doesn't look exactly like us, whether it's racially or even different species.
I mean, it's not hard to imagine this being another category of that mistake.
So again, it comes back to this idea that we're scaling to systems that are potentially at or beyond human level.
There's no reason to think it will stop at human level, that we are the pinnacle of what the universe can produce in intelligence.
We're not on track, based on the conversations we've had with folks at the labs, to be able to control systems at that scale.
And so one of the questions is, how bad is that?
You know, is that bad?
It sounds like it could be bad, right?
Just intuitively, certainly it sounds like we're definitely entering or potentially entering an area that is completely unprecedented in the history of the world.
We have no precedent at all for human beings not being at the apex of intelligence in the globe.
We have examples of, you know, species...
All we know is the process that gives rise to this mind.
It happens to give us systems that 99% of the time do very useful things, and then just 0.01% of the time will talk to you as if they're sentient or whatever, and we're just going to look at that and be like, yeah, that's weird, and let's train it out.
Wow.
I mean, that's the point where I'm like, okay, I see where this is going.
And to be honest, yes, this is exactly what's described in Revelation.
I think this will be this beast system.
You know, this will be the platform from which that will come eventually.
Who knows when?
I don't know when.
Only God knows when.
But it does seem as though that's where this is all headed.
Like I said, I think there will be demonic forces that will be channeled through this artificial intelligence that will end up seeking to replace God for many people.
And that will be a destructive force in and of itself.
Just as the things of this world draw people away from God, this will just be another example of that.
And we have to be on guard.
And again, that's not to say that AI in its entirety is evil.
I'm saying that it is a force that is, like anything else, it is corruptible and most likely will be corrupted.
And it already has to an extent.
But anyway, stay tuned.
We're coming back.

And, you know, there are some really fascinating, you know, deep, technical ways of understanding what this self-preservation mechanism is.
But there are also simple ways of understanding it.
One of the ways is what they call instrumental convergence.
And I know that sounds like a, you know, sounds like a very big term with a lot of, you know, heavy science in it.
Essentially what it is, is there was a philosopher named Nick Bostrom, and he wrote this paper and suggested that self-preservation, resource acquisition, and goal integrity are common sub-goals for goal-directed AI, even if not explicitly programmed, because these ensure the AI can continue pursuing its primary objective.
And the best way to explain it is this.
Okay, so you have an AI system, right?
And you have people who develop that AI.
And then the AI is programmed to follow the directive of the humans who created it, right?
So the humans who created it say, "Please do X," right?
As an example, any activity.
X is just a variable.
It's like it could stand for anything, but please do X. Please do this thing, right?
So then the AI, in its mind, is thinking, okay, all I want to do is X, because the humans who programmed me created to do X. They have imparted upon me a directive to do X, and I will follow that command as I was programmed.
So instrumental convergence would suggest as per what Nick Bostrom wrote about, it would suggest that AI at some point would have the revelatory thought of, "Wait, what if they shut me down so I can't do X?" Well,
that's where self-preservation becomes a
Thus, the howl from Space Odyssey 2001 and every other AI film, you know, has touched on this, or sci-fi film that's gone, they've touched on this.
in some form or fashion, that it will see and recognize that the path toward accomplishing its directive may necessitate the removal of any force that opposes that.
And, as was pointed out previously, any time there is a...
It doesn't go well for the species with the lower level of intelligence.
So you can see how easily it would be to just extrapolate some of these scenarios and say, okay, this is definitely a considerable risk.
Stay tuned.

But it's hour two, and I just want to put some final touches on the whole AI thing because, like I've said, it's like anything can be good or bad depending on how it's used to a degree.
This is something that can be really bad, I think, though, with AI because of the implications of it.
And one final thought I have as we kind of move away from the topic is simply this.
One thing that I think about often and that is a cause for concern and I think is why, like I was saying before the break, a lot of these issues, For instance, Elon Musk and some others who look at AI and see that it's already past the threshold from which we could step back.
Put the horse back in the barn or the toothpaste back in the tube.
We have already crossed that threshold.
And what do I mean by that?
Well, quite simply put, if you look at what we're being given publicly, imagine what they have secretly, clandestinely, in compartmentalized government programs or at very, very high-level R&D.
Corporate facilities or in other governments' secret intelligence programs.
Imagine what kind of wars are being fought that we don't see via AI between major nation states as we speak.
Imagine the implications of AIs that are created specifically for warfare, whether it's cyber or kinetic.
Imagine what those already look like as they're being deployed on the battlefield.
Imagine what hasn't been deployed on the battlefield yet.
Imagine what mutually assured destruction we could presumably expect to see from these systems that is being held back by some very slim...
Unknowingly.
And I'm saying, imagine the predictive capability of AI as used with the conflagration or the entirety of all known intelligence that's being digitally held.
This is what we talked about with...
Oh, I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head right now, but it's a very Looking Glass.
Looking Glass.
The implications of the AI system and what it could do are beyond.
And this is what leads me to believe now more than ever that, like, for instance, the QAnon stuff.
I believe now, as I would say, I'm not the foremost expert on QAnon, but I'm certainly one of a few experts that exist out there on the entirety because I've studied it for years and understand it very well.
That I believe was an AI that was being input with prompts to generate information that led to investigations that uncovered truths that then were released to the public as a part of a sidestepping of the fake news media that wouldn't report on these things.
I believe it with every part of my...
And that was similar to what we're just now getting today.
Right?
As far as what's being released.
This was five years ago.
So imagine that was what the government had then, but then that was what they were, you know, clandestinely sort of leaking publicly.
What did they have behind closed doors at that point?
And what do they have behind closed doors today?
Is the better question.
As far as what AI can do.
How much of the internet now is controlled and run by Massive government-controlled AI and corporate-controlled AI systems that can manipulate public perception, that can alter behavioral patterns, that can steer consumption, that can steer your thought and how you perceive the world.
I'm telling you right now, guys, that it's hard to explain how massively powerful this system already is versus even how more massively powerful it will become and ubiquitous it will become in the future.
I believe it's already ubiquitous, and a lot of it we just don't see because we're being—we're being— But they are tangibly real.
So, brave new world.

Welcome back to Just Informed Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
And, you know, we've heard a lot of things coming out of the FBI lately, and it is cause for concern, right?
We have examples of a lot of the things being said by people like Dan Bongino and Kash Patel, particularly Bongino to an extent, though not necessarily aligning with...
And I think that for me on a personal level, like, I personally think Bongino's a nice enough guy.
I don't have any vendetta or anything against him.
I think he's, you know, presumably a patriotic dude who wants to do the right thing.
Where people get frustrated is that they have this expectation that, like, a guy like Bongino can walk into the FBI as deputy director, not even director, or Kash Patel as director, and just give away all the state secrets and, you know, ostensibly, for lack of a better, you know, flip the tables, right, of this terrible corruption, which I think it's not an unreasonable expectation.
And it's not even a wrong expectation.
It's not like having the expectation that these people will go and do the right thing is wrong.
It's that it's hard to say what the right thing is if you don't have full access to all the information, if that makes sense.
Right?
So, for instance, if there's a scenario that plays itself out, Where in Bongino, on day one, walks in the FBI as now the deputy director or Cashfell's director, and they're handed all of the files with all of the classified information about all the things that they've been talking about on all these podcasts, more overly pontificating on, without access to the direct knowledge.
Here's what happened to Epstein.
Here's what happened with the Supreme Court leak.
Here's what happened with all these other instances.
Here's what happened with the pipe bombs on January 6th.
Here's what happened on January 6th.
And then they come out and they say, oh, I can't talk about that.
Like, this was recently that he just said this.
It's a short clip, but it kind of gives you an idea of this is what we seem to hear a lot of from Bongino these days.
Listen to this.
In my history as a Secret Service agent and my personal friendship as a director does with the president, give me one logical, sensible reason we would not have.
If you can think of one, there isn't.
There isn't.
In some of these cases, the there you're looking for is not there.
And I know people, I get it.
I understand.
It's not there.
If it was there, we would have told you.
So this is funny because somebody was breaking down his body language here, right?
And if you listen to what he said, now this was, I believe this was a clip where he was asked about, um...
Wade.
Bongino's statement seems to be indicating that he's like saying there's nothing there.
There's nothing there more to investigate, right?
And he said the same thing or similar about the Epstein case.
Oh, it was a suicide.
Don't ask any questions, right?
Trust me, if it wasn't a suicide, I would tell you.
I'd like to believe Bongino and Cash, but I have a sneaking suspicion, my spidey senses are tingling, that what happens is in every case, right?
You get read into programs and you get read into cases and you get read into things that you can't disclose publicly because of a number of reasons, right?
Whether they're state secrets that are heavily protected by federal law or they're part of an ongoing investigation and would possibly corrupt or contaminate the investigations that are ongoing or there were deals made.
Secretly that they can't disclose?
For instance, if Jeffrey Epstein is, in fact, in Witness Protection Program, well, of course, Bongino's not going to come out and say, hey, I figured it out, guys.
We got him!
Epstein?
Yeah, no, he didn't die.
He's actually in Kansas right now, just outside Topeka.
He's got a little barbershop there that he's running.
His new name is, you know, Geno Statori.
And I'm sorry if Geno Statori is listening.
I just made that name up.
But that's what I think happens in a lot of cases.
I'm not saying all.
And that's why you open yourself up to this level of criticism.
When you publicly pronounce things in such a way, and then when you're a private citizen, but then things change when you become an appointed official, such as the case with Bongino and Patel, and others, and others, who's been very quiet lately.
Haven't heard a peep from them.
It was a church mouse in church, or a church mouse, is John Ratcliffe, the now director of CIA.
Very quiet over there.
We're not hearing a whole lot coming out of the CIA lately.
I wonder why.
I mean, I have guesses, but you can imagine.
So the point is...
And it's like, because bi-language experts have this belief, and I don't know if it's true or not.
I think there's some truth to a lot of it, but I don't know if it's entirely all a super accurate way of deciphering truth from fiction.
As humans have subliminal cues that we can't control, right?
For instance, like if I say there's nothing there as I'm nodding my head up and down, my body language would be seeming to indicate that there is.
I know that there's something there, but that I can't tell you.
So I'm forcing my mouth to speak the words that...
Whereas my body cannot control the involuntary movement that indicates what the truth is.
And there's other ways people look at which direction your eyes shift when you speak on certain topics.
Uh, what, how big your eyes get, you know, if you open them up wider, if you're, you know, there's subtle cues, you know, if you slouch, if you sit back in your seat as opposed to leaning forward, um, there's all kinds of things, right, that would indicate you have certain uncontrollable tendencies, right?
So, that to me It's a very interesting way of perceiving it.
I'll just put it that way.
And that's my thought on Bongino.
I think he knows things he can't say, and he's just saying what he can say.
Like, and also...
perhaps at the behest of the CIA, perhaps in cahoots with the CIA, perhaps in whatever, in conflict with the CIA, whatever it is.
I know it's what we want.
I know it's probably the right thing for austerity and the sake of truth.
But you think Bongino's just going to be able to come out and be like, yep.
He was a Mossad agent.
They were running blackmail tapes.
We have all the blackmail now.
You know, he's in witness protection.
He's living outside of Topeka, Kansas, and on a farm.
And he's cooperating with us.
And, you know, we're using it as a high-level source for other information that's going to help us get rid of a lot of the bad entities in government.
I mean, I'm not going to lie.
That'd be one hell of a Fox News interview.
I think that one might do well in the ratings.
But beyond that, I mean, to be quite honest, the whole thing that they were all a part of anyway to me was like gatekeeping.
Maybe not Bongino as much.
He's sort of independent.
But still, look, I've said it before and I'll say it again.
You don't get...
You're not allowed to stay on these platforms if you speak a modicum of truth that is outside of the officially acceptable narrative, right?
And of course, the Overton window slides and changes and there's what's acceptable yesterday versus what's acceptable today.
And that's why it makes it seem as though people...
It makes it seem as though they are a part of the fringe, right?
Like, because what will happen is certain truths that are undeniable become so...
they become it's so saturated in its coverage on the fringe that then the bigger podcast it becomes acceptable for them to pick it up and then the platforms you know obviously control these guys not necessarily by like sitting them down in a meeting and being like listen if you talk about this you know you're you're uh
But they control them by saying, you know, Well, you have a multi-million dollar podcast.
Why would you risk it?
You know, you want to make the money, right?
You want to make five million dollars a year like Bongino was.
And so then he seems like he's on the fringe because he's allowed to talk about these things, right?
But he's only been allowed to talk about them because it's sort of so oversaturated in other media outlets or outside fringe media outlets, perhaps like an AM radio station that's, you know, But then he becomes and gets this image as being a part of it and so on and so forth, right?
It goes to all of these things.
And that's what I think is happening with Bongino, I think, and Patel and the rest.
Now, do I think that they're probably good people who are trying to do the right thing?
Yeah, I actually do believe that.
But do I think that when they get there, I mean, there are considerations like, I guess technically, the president can declassify a lot of things through, you know, executive order or whatever.
And basically just by being the executive, if he decides that he can declassify it.
That was the whole litigated thing about Mar-a-Lago and the raid on Trump was like, what is technically, what can and can't be declassified by a president, right?
The documents case, that's what it was all focused on.
But if you're the director of an FBI, for instance, you are subject to federal law, and if things are classified or secret or otherwise, you are not capable to unilaterally on your own, I mean, as far as my understanding goes, just decide that things should be declassified.
There's obviously a process for it, but then even beyond the process for it, Like, what are the implications if these things are true to national security and so on and so forth?
So, in a long story short way of saying it, I think Bongino's a good guy.
I just don't think he can tell the truth on a lot of things, which is not surprising.
But it is what it is.
Anyway, stay tuned.
More to come.

And, you know, I told you I wanted to talk about some interesting connections Epstein has to the government.
And this was, I believe, pointed out by Mike Benz.
And, you know, and I think this is part of the reason why we're not going to get the full truth from anyone in the government.
Because I've said this before, and I'll say it again.
The government started to come out and be like, oh yeah, we were running a sex trafficking blackmail operation, you know, or helping facilitate one.
Or, even worse, we busted one, then took all the blackmail and used it for ourselves.
I mean, any way you look at it, there's not a lot.
Because if everything was on the up and up with the Epstein stuff, people would have been arrested who were on the blackmail tapes.
For abusing children or whatever was going on there.
And just, I mean, like, if we had a real, if we didn't have a two-tier justice system, that's what would have happened.
And I'm not saying that, like, that still can't happen, I guess, because I guess it could.
But you'd imagine that by now, what we are, I mean, how, I don't know what the statute of limitations are on some of these crimes.
Don't ask me.
I mean, we have to really go through the...
But the point is that we would have had justice.
But then you look at Epstein and his connections to the government and, for instance, under Trump 1 with Bill Barr, the first administration.
I mean, Bill Barr is as dirty as it gets, and he puts him in at the thing.
And that's why I have huge critiques of Trump in regard to some of his decisions he's made.
I mean, my gosh.
He made some real blunders.
You know, he's made a lot of great things, too.
I give credit where it's due.
But holy moly, it's like, I think he was deceived to a large degree.
That's my...
Not an expert.
Just my working theory.
And one of the deceptions was this whole Epstein thing.
It's crazy.
But anyway, I want to play the Epstein.
This is interesting, if not for any other reason than because it elucidates.
I like trying to use big words here.
Elucidates truth and reveals truth.
Insight that is very strange.
Let's listen to this.
Bill Barr was the head of the Justice Department when Epstein died in prison.
I totally agree with your analysis.
There's no way both security cameras glitch out.
Both security guards fall asleep.
The visitor log page is ripped out of the notebook.
And who was the head of the Justice Department at the time that that happened under?
It was Bill Barr.
Bill Barr was the CI's mop-up man.
He told his high school guidance counselor.
This is in his own autobiography.
That his dream job was to run the CIA.
His first job was working for the CIA.
His first seven years of his career he spent at the CIA.
He went to Knight Law School while he was at the CIA.
Basically worked through law school with the CIA.
His first job out of law school was protecting the CIA from the Iran-Contra investigation when the CIA was perceived to have gone rogue.
To work in tandem with Santos Traficante and the whole Tampa and Louisiana network and Miami in order to run guns to the Nicaraguan Contras and to work with all the different paramilitary groups that needed guns and laundered money all over late Operation Condor and Iran-Contra there.
When Congress tried to investigate the CIA, it was Bill Barr, literally Washington.
Post described him as the C.I.'s mop-up man to block congressional inquiry into Iran-Contra.
He then becomes the head of the Justice Department twice, the second time under Trump.
And not only that, Bill Barr's father, Donald Barr.
Was the mentor to Jeffrey Epstein.
He was literally, you know, was a student of Bill Barr's dad at the same high school.
There's no way for us really to put pressure on people to find accountability.
What's your thoughts on that with Epstein?
I will tell you this before you answer that.
I was on the exact same tier, in the exact same cell block that Epstein was.
There's no way in my estimation that that guy committed suicide.
No way.
Cameras don't go out all at once.
People don't stop walking the tear.
I mean, there was times there, you know, the toilet is right there in the open.
You know, you don't even want to go to the toilet because people are going back and forth all the time.
And there is no method in there to commit suicide, to hang yourself like he did.
You couldn't do it.
You just couldn't do it.
Wow.
So that's just another strange thing that you can look at and say, hmm, that's interesting.
And I've said it before, and I'll say it again with regard to the evidence and blackmail that Epstein held.
Let's presume it was on behalf of an intelligence agency.
Now, which intelligence agency?
You'll be the judge.
I don't know.
Mossad, CIA, maybe both.
But let's hypothetically walk through the implications of the blackmail he held.
If not any other piece of it, if he only held one piece, which was the Clinton sex tapes, if they exist, of Bill Clinton on his island doing untoward things with children, then that in and of itself is a national security threat.
And I know people hate this.
I hate it.
I don't like it.
But what do people understand what the actual implication is?
that Trump was in fact one of the only people to cooperate in the initial investigation against Jeffrey Epstein, that he knew Jeffrey Epstein was a bad guy, which is why he kicked him out of his club, etc., so on and so on.
Let's just presume for argument's sake that Trump's not involved with the Epstein stuff, which I believe.
And let's just presume that Bill Clinton is, right?
Let's just presume that Bill Clinton's, whatever, 18 trips to the island, at one point or another, he did something he shouldn't have, at minimum, and that was taken as blackmail and then used in some way to control him, right?
Well, do you think that that will ever come out, true or not?
No.
Of course it will never come out.
Because, better or worse, like it or not, love it or hate it, the U.S. has an image and a reputation to uphold.
And we have deals and arrangements and security agreements and international diplomacy, you know, strategies.
So on and so on and so on and so on.
You go down the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 100th order of effect from what the implication of that one thing would be.
Right?
For our alliances, for our enemies, for our trade negotiations, for our security agreements, for our...
I mean...
So, I believe that, for better or worse, the Epstein thing will never fully be rectified, perhaps 100 years from now.
When the AI is running the country and it decides that it's going to make a utopia and we're all going to live in a kumbaya circle and anybody who disagrees will become Soylent Green to be eaten.
But maybe then they'll tell us what happened.
But I don't know about anything other than that.
Anyway, stay tuned.
More to come.

As the Federal Reserve continues to destroy the value of the dollar.
Since the closing of the gold window in 1971, the Federal Reserve has led the way in the explosion of debt and the devaluing of your money.
They openly say that they need 2% inflation, which simply means they hope to devalue your money and they want to do this every single year, year after year.
I know it's hard to understand.

We got a couple texts.
Our friend Henry texted in and said, Will humanity ever learn trying to improve on God's natural order of things?
Splitting the atom, darkening the sun, AI, always leads to some form of chaos.
I agree, 100%.
I think, I don't know, I doubt we'll ever learn because it's within our human nature to have folly and sin.
It's kind of what we do.
It seems.
And there's only one way it all will, I think, become better, and that's once Christ comes back and we have a real judgment day, etc., etc.
But, yeah, I don't know.
I wish we would learn, but I don't think that's in the cards.
Somebody also texted in from 970 and said, let's not forget Virginia.
I guess, Virginia Giffray.
Whatever happened to her?
the accident so cold and then suicide yeah i mean that's the other thing and the abstain stuff is like everybody who's a part of it is kind of like fringe or not not fringe but like being sort of it like i said the implications of a lot of this stuff i mean it's bad enough
There have been royal scandals in the past, though.
It's not like that was as surprising.
Plus, and don't quote me on this, but is the age of consent 16 in the UK?
Because I don't know.
I'm genuinely asking that.
I feel like that might be a thing.
And I think Virginia Jeffrey was 17 when they did their thing.
Not saying it makes it right or better.
I just don't know.
Either way, the point I'm making is Prince Andrew is some, you know, ancillary character in the royal family.
He's not the...
the king or the queen or whatever.
So it's like, it's a little less than...
Or if they had Bill Clinton, that'd be bad.
Right, that'd be stuff that you couldn't release On either side really think if you think about it because I
But really, in effect, whoever's procured or has that blackmail, whether they did it or not, whether they were involved in the setup or not, they can't release it either because, I mean, yeah, good luck with that.
The full force of these massive military and intelligence agencies coming after you after you do it.
And the chaos and destruction it would cause, surely.
So, again, that level of blackmail is like a mutually assured destruction.
Blackmail.
So, I don't know.
Probably why Bongino's just like, there's nothing here.
Stop looking.
Stop asking questions.
Okay, but one of the other things I want to talk about today...
And here's what the dilemma that Trump's facing, as explained by Mike Benz, I think very well.
Trump is between a blob and a hard place.
If he wants a budget done, he needs Congress to approve.
We do not have a populist supermajority in Congress.
There are more populists now in Congress than there were under Trump 1. So I don't think Trump will get as rolled as he was by Paul Ryan.
But there will be rolling, undoubtedly.
We've seen 26 members of Congress, I think, have said that they're not going to approve the doge cuts, just the doge cuts, while you're getting handed even more money from a trillion dollar Pentagon budget.
And how much of that trillion is going to be civil military, i.e.
NGOs?
The Secretary of War is on the board for the U.S. Institute of Peace.
The Pentagon pays the Atlantic Council.
The Pentagon pays for NATO, which has all the societal resilience and social cohesion grants to the NGO space to do all this.
And so you can shut down USAID, but you can just call it civil military, and the civil society NGOs will be funded by the Pentagon.
So Trump has to keep his coalition together, and so he can't get everything he wants, just as we're not a unipolar power.
And I think that's it.
I think he summarized it perfectly.
I mean, still to this day, though, when I look at Congress and I see how much of our Congress is filled with these, like, neocon, GOP, you know, deep state loyalist just traitors.
Who call themselves conservatives, who get elected time and again because, you know, they run political machines in their respective districts or states that are, you know, that have been, you know, fortified for decades and are basically unstoppable.
It really is sort of disheartening, you know, to a degree.
I'll tell you what, you know, I've always been an incrementalist in the sense that I believe things will happen incrementally one way or the other.
And if we can incrementally work our way toward things happening positively, even if it's a little bit at a time, I'll take the wins where I can get them.
You know, I don't look at it as fatalistically as some do.
You know, some people think it's all or nothing, and to a degree it is, but I think in my perspective, all or nothing, it refers to more of the spiritual battle than it does the battle that happens in this plane of existence, this temporal world that we live in, if that makes sense.
So I'm hoping incrementally we can get some positive movement.
But I'm also, again, pragmatically saying, hey, take the win where you can get it.
You know what I'm saying?
Alright.
That's not it, but we're getting close.
One more segment.
We're coming back.
Stay tuned.
You're listening to Just Informed Talk Radio.

Welcome back to Just For Him.
I'm your host, Craig James, and today we're going to finish up with some scripture like we do in every episode.
Real quick, though, it looks like we had a texter text in and say that basically people in the big club have no compunction to rat each other out.
If you know the movie Eyes Wide Shut, it tells you all you need to know.
Yeah, I think that's a good example, I guess.
I did a whole show.
Interestingly enough, on Stanley Kubrick films for a tinfoil Friday that was really interesting.
We did study some of the aspects of Eyes Wide Shut, which, yeah, it's a good insight.
So, yeah, I think that's true.
But we're going to finish up with some scripture today.
We're going to start the book of James.
I want to read through the whole book of James.
It's a piece of scripture that is spoken loudly to my heart throughout my life and even more as I...
And I want to share a lot of this wisdom.
I want to share this wisdom with you, this scripture.
So we're going to start.
We're going to read through the whole book of James.
Four chapters.
We'll probably get through it in a couple weeks or so.
And I'm excited to do it.
So we're going to start in James 1, verses 2 through 8. And it says...
Now, if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him.
But let him ask in faith without doubting, for the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
An indecisive man is unstable in all his ways.
Now, I love these words, and I truly think that there's a huge amount of discernment we can gain through this particular piece of Scripture, all Scripture, but particularly for this one in the case of what we've been studying here.
Through our life, we're going to have challenges, right, that are going to lead to endurance, and we have to let that endurance do its work to make us complete and lacking nothing.
And when we question our faith and we allow ourselves to become indecisive in what we believe, that is an instability that can lead to destruction.
And we should not expect to receive anything when we have that wavering faith.
So the moral of this scripture, in my opinion, is to have a strong, unwavering faith, even in hardship and in endurance and in affliction.
And trust in the Lord.
So that's where I'm going to leave it.
I want to say thank you to everybody.
If you haven't accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, this is your time to start.
I'm offering you this invitation.
Open your heart, say a prayer, call upon the name of the Lord and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
And watch Him enter your life and give you things that I can't describe.
He can do things for you in your life that are out of my understanding, but I know he's done great things for me and mine and others I know.
We're leaving it there.
Thank you.
We'll see you tomorrow, God willing.
Until then, Godspeed and God bless each and every one of you patriots.
