The truth, it is the middle ground between light and shadow, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge.
This is Just Informed Talk Radio, where we are not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is God's power for salvation to everyone who believes.
I don't know why.
It doesn't even matter how hard you try.
Keep that in mind, I designed this ride to explain in due time.
All I know, time is a valuable thing.
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings.
Watch it count down to the end of the day.
The clock ticks life away, it's so unreal.
Didn't look out below.
Time is a valuable thing.
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings.
Watch it count down to the end of the day.
The clock takes flight.
Why is so unreal?
Then look out below.
Watch the time go right out the window.
Trying to hold on, but you didn't even know.
Wasted it all just to watch you go.
I kept everything inside.
And even though I tried, it all fell apart.
Welcome to another Justice for Talk radio show.
I'm your host, Craig James.
Hope you guys are having a wonderful day and thank you.
Thank you for joining us.
Of course, we have a number of stories to get into the weekend, being chocked full of them.
We're going to talk a lot about what has happened and what's upcoming.
You know, today is Monday.
Tomorrow is Tuesday, September 10th, which is the second presidential debate.
Uh, Donald Trump will be facing off this time against opponent number two, Kamala Harris.
It's like, oh my gosh, it's like, you know.
He beat Joe Biden so bad he had to drop out of the race.
So what do they do?
They just bring up the next fighter.
We'll see how that goes.
I have a feeling that this one's not going to be the same as CNN's debate.
I think CNN was in on the fact that they wanted Joe out at that point and that the whole point of the debate was to Give this set the stage to remove him from the race.
So I would presume that what we're going to see tomorrow is going to be very much different than what we saw back in June between Biden and Trump.
And when you ask, well, what do you mean, it's going to be different?
Well, The fact of the matter is, it's not going to be the same level of fairness, if you will, that we saw.
Even for CNN, that was a pretty fair debate, to be quite honest.
It obviously had its biases and its skewed nature because of the nature of the beast in general, right?
Fake news.
Fake news is going to fake news.
I think what we're going to see tomorrow is going to be nothing short of just complete and total rigging.
I mean, that's the best way I could put it, other than to say that what they're going to do is they're going to give all these crazy questions.
I mean, this one's hosted by ABC, which I mean, if you ever turn on ABC News for any amount of time, you'll know that it's a rabidly left-wing organization, liberal, leftist, Democrat, hardcore Democrat, I don't know.
a fake news outlet.
So there's no, there would be no surprise to me if, uh, it would be no surprise to me if tomorrow's debate is just a complete and total, you know, what show, uh, with regard to how it's run now, will this make Trump, will this hurt Trump?
I don't know.
Probably.
I mean, that's the whole point.
But it seems like, as it's written in the Bible, all the traps that they continually lay for us, they themselves keep stumbling into.
And there's something sort of refreshing about all of that, which I'm very thankful for.
But that's tomorrow night, September 10, 2024.
The ABC presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
Reports are already coming out as we speak that good old Kamala, Kamala, Kamala, whatever you want to call her, she's locked herself in a hotel room to do debate prep for the last week or so, going as far as to have a stage and a Trump impersonator.
I'm not making it up, man.
I wish I was.
I really do.
I really do.
Could you imagine?
Kabbalah, Kabbalah, you liar, Kabbalah.
I don't know.
I don't do a great Trump, but I'm laughing in my head imagining they got some Trump impersonator up there just doing everything they can to get her prepared.
Now, here's the thing about Kamala.
I'm not sold on the fact that she's very intelligent.
You think?
But, you know what I really think they're going to do, and I think this was clear at times before?
I think she's going to have an earpiece.
I mean, 1,000,000,000,000% believe that she's going to have somebody in her ear giving her responses and updated facts and all kinds of information.
Now, will she be able to deliver that information from the person in her ear?
effectively to convince the audience that it's actually, you know, a personally held thought that isn't being, you know, real time implanted in her brain.
I don't know.
I don't know.
But I know that one of the things that I've thought, which I don't know why nobody's, maybe people have talked about this.
I've never heard anybody talk about it, but I just had this thought to myself.
I'm like, why wouldn't she wear an earpiece?
She has long hair, it covers her ears.
There's absolutely no reason for her to not wear one.
I mean, I can understand with Joe.
Or Trump, even.
It's like, if you have an earpiece in, it's pretty clear because you don't have anything covering your ears, so people could look and say, oh, what's that thing in his ear?
But with Kamala, I mean, I have no doubt in my mind that this whole debate prep thing she's doing in this hotel with the Trump person and everything is actually practicing for her to have the earpiece and know how to Respond with that in and not sound like she's just parroting what somebody's saying into her ear.
And you know what's funny?
They'll say all types of things.
Oh, you're a conspiracy theorist.
You have no proof, Craig.
What's your proof?
Show me!
That's circumstantial proof.
I mean, just look at any speech he's ever given.
We are here to say that tomorrow will be today, yesterday, if tomorrow is here now.
I'm not sure.
The lights are on, no one's home there, so they may have to park somebody up there, if you know what I mean, to feed her some of the responses.
And even then, that could backfire as well, because debating Trump is not the easiest thing in the world for anyone, I would imagine.
I would say the only time Trump's lost a debate is when he's done it to himself, if that makes sense.
I think the novelty of what he did with Hillary Clinton kind of wore off.
So by the 2020 election, you know, the debate wasn't as impressive as I thought it would be because it was kind of like a repeat of what we'd already seen.
The reason why the June debate to me was way more impressive, and he obviously won that by a landslide, was because we saw a different Trump.
You know, we saw a tempered, calm, cool, collected Trump who, you know, made a much more A much more strong impression I guess you could say.
Very much like moderate, even, cooled down, which I like.
I think Trump needs to be more tempered.
You know, that's what we're going to see.
That's your debate preview for tomorrow night.
Now today in the show, coming up a little bit later in the show, we're going to play you guys a sermon from Pastor Dean Miller over at Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
And I'm really excited for that because it is always a blessing to be able to share those with you.
The sermon is about maintaining our victory.
And I think that's an important thing to focus on.
But when we come back, I'm going to get you through a bunch of other news stories, a lot of stuff happening over the weekend that we're going to cover and give you a little bit of a more detailed update on.
So everybody do me a favor.
Keep it locked in here.

I'm your host, Craig James.
And of course, like I was saying before, we have a lot of news we're going to try to get through here today.
One of the big stories over the weekend, Trump made a post informing us all of what is happening right now.
Now, a lot of people are pointing to this as being a very critical and key post.
He posted a cease and desist letter to his social media account.
And this was on Saturday, I believe.
So he wrote this, and I'm quoting from Trump's post over on True Social.
Quote, cease and desist.
I, together with many attorneys and legal scholars, am watching the sanctity of the 2024 presidential election very closely.
Excuse me, because I know better than most the rampant cheating and skullduggery that has taken place by the Democrats in the 2020 presidential election.
It was a disgrace to our nation.
Therefore, the 2024 election, where votes have just started being cast will be under the closest professional scrutiny, and when I win, those people that cheated will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, which will include long-term prison sentences so that this depravity of justice does not happen again.
We cannot let our country further devolve into a third-world nation, and we won't.
Please beware that this legal exposure extends to lawyers, political operatives, donors, illegal voters, and corrupt election officials.
Those involved in unscrupulous behavior will be sought out, caught, and prosecuted at levels unfortunately never seen before in our country." Wow.
I'm not gonna lie, it's a very powerful letter.
Now, a lot of people on the left are looking at this and laughing and mocking it and saying, oh, it's just another, another, another attempt to stoke the conspiratorial, uh, you know, waters and get people to think that there's election fraud when there is no election fraud, of course.
But a lot of people on the other side of the aisle, and people who have been paying attention to these things for a while, are noting that this cease and desist letter, which was posted to Trump's social media, could be indicative of a very strategic trap that is being set for these people who are going to engage in this conduct.
The polls, of course, have been showing more and more lately that Trump is starting to take a lead.
The buzz about Harris is quickly wearing off as people are starting to realize that it's Kamala Harris and it's The presidency of the United States, I'm sure, because this is the strategy they have.
The tactic and strategy they have now is going to be relying on not just the fake news, which they've relied on, you know, for a tremendous amount of pressure and influence over the past several years, especially in the recent decade or two, but They're going to rely more overly on the gamification of the social media algorithms, right?
The rigging of those algorithms that are favoring, obviously, this left-wing liberal agenda.
The social media companies are already making sure that these videos are going viral about You know, they have one of the trends they're doing now on the left is they're making videos, taking former quotes from Donald Trump from his Twitter account, etc.
And they're having kids read his quotes.
And that in some form or fashion this is supposedly going quote-unquote viral.
Now we know that this is all just being boosted by a system that is all, you know, all too happy to see Donald Trump.
Anything that hurts Donald Trump go as far and as wide as it possibly can with whether it's, you know, real or artificial boost.
But this is one of their trends.
They also have trends of You know, uh, women telling them to, telling other women to vote, um, you know, against the wishes of their family or husbands, which to me is, is an unbiblical thing.
And I gotta be honest, you know, women, you submit willingly to your husband.
It's not, um, one of those things where you're doing it because, you know, we're over there with a whip cracking and say, you better submit to us or else.
No, it's a biblical choice that women who have faith do because they love God.
Right?
Just like the men submit to God and become the leader with the knowledge that the responsibility you're given as a man means that your judgment will be that much greater if you do not take good care of that woman and provide for her and love her and cherish her and treat her in a way that is honorable to God.
So that's to me, you know, the deception that we're seeing.
So they have these women going on there saying, ladies, don't do what your husband's telling you have vote for yourself, blah, blah, blah.
And it's like, listen, If your husband says vote this way because it's the way that is the most biblical way and is the way there's most now I'm not saying Trump is perfect candidate right and he's far from it but of the choices we have he's the one who will get us back going closer to where we need to be as a Christian nation of course obviously
And I just think that it's really, you know, indicative of the society we live in where, you know, feminism has rotted the brains of these women to a point where, you know, even some of the married women are thinking, you know, are in this, and in all fairness, I don't, I wouldn't presume that this woman who's making this video that's gone viral or any of these other women who are agreeing with this notion are in what we would consider a healthy, you know, biblical
God-fearing blessed relationship, right?
Because you can't be if you have these opinions about your spouse or if you want to be deceptive toward your spouse or your family, right?
It's not just about your husband.
It's also honoring your mother and father.
And I mean, there's a lot of things.
There are a lot of things in the scripture that if you practice in your daily life, I mean, it can take you to another level of existence just as far as your happiness and your peace and your solace and your, you know, even prosperity to a large degree.
But if you reject them, you know, don't be surprised when the fall is great.
And I only mean that not to get on the side or a tangent on it, but, you know, it's something I'm observing, right?
This is how they are rigging the election.
Now, to me, personally, am I surprised they're doing this?
No.
Is it something that I didn't expect?
Of course not.
I knew this was coming.
But I will say, every time it happens, right, I'm always kind of taken back because I'm like, okay, what are they going to do next?
At what point will this ever end?
And you have to realize, I guess, that the evil will know no bounds and it will know no constraint.
It will do what it thinks it can get away with here in this world.
So, should I be surprised at all of this?
No, I'm not.
I have no delusions about the depravity of the individuals that we are standing against in this oppositional battle, but I do, you know, get to a point where, you know, just like with anything, it can be exhausting to continually have to field all of this.
I digress.
We have other stories, too, by the way.
So that was Trump's cease and desist letter.
A lot of people are saying also that, I mean, this is laying the groundwork for when Trump gets elected to basically take off the gloves.
And this is another reason why Democrats, I think, are so, and not just Democrats, I should be very clear, the uniparty deep state establishment, this is why they fear Trump so much, because Again, a lot of people pointed out some of the most obvious things, which are if Trump gets into this next term, he will be a man, A, with no re-election to work toward,
B, with an axe to grind against these people who have wronged him, and C, the justification, morally, legally, and otherwise, to say that these people are traitors who have committed some of the most heinous crimes you could imagine.
So, when you couple all of these things together, there could be massive, you know, penalties for all of this.
And this is why I understand what's coming as well.
These people won't go down without a fight.
And I pray they would.
I pray they would just surrender themselves to the power of Christ, repent of their sin, and accept what punishment may come to them as a result of what they've done.
But, unfortunately again, this is not how the evil of this world tends to operate or work.
So expect to see madness and chaos, desperate moves that go above and beyond anything you could imagine.
I mean, again, it's almost like we have completely forgotten that, what was it, a couple months ago, Trump almost had his head taken off at a rally by some deranged gunner who, you know, may or may not have been aided and abetted by a US government.
May or may not.
I don't know.
A lot of evidence that would suggest this kid has some connections to some pretty seedy things.
A lot of evidence to suggest there may very well have been more than one shooter, which brings into question all kinds of things.
A lot of connections to the communists, Chinese or otherwise.
But BlackRock and CIA, and you could name the shadowy organizations and you could imagine the levels of influence and control and power they, you know, have.
And the means and motive, by the way, which if you're any, if you're a good detective, you know, what are the first two things you look at after a crime when you're investigating?
The means and the motive, right?
Did he have the means?
Did he have the motive?
Well, I mean, you could apply that to a lot of people who had a lot of interest, especially this uniparty deep state who are, you know, in complete opposition to Trump's positions on our foreign policy agenda.
Because they see the world a completely different way than Trump and most of the base that support him do.
Their justifications may be, you know, kind of based in some sort of self-preservation, or they're based in, you know, greed, or they're based in lust for power, or whatever it may be, but I believe that, speaking for myself exclusively, my motivations are based in
A desire to bring this nation back to God, A, to have a great revival and come back to Jesus, B, to uphold the rights that are given by God and enshrined and protected in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and C,
to do all these things to protect the well-being of this nation against all enemies foreign and domestic.
Now, these people have all kinds of justifications.
I've noticed, you know, the economy, fiat dollar, and to a degree, they may have some points about, oh, well, if we don't Do X, Y, and Z for an intervention, then it could lead to A, B, and C outcomes economically here.
And to a degree, I may have been on board with them, had it not Come with the price tag of, well, if you just cede all of your personal rights, your God-given rights to a faceless, nameless, globalist entity of child, you know, trafficking satanists,
If you just do that, then you can have that shiny new grill from Walmart.
You like that Traeger grill, right?
You like to smoke that meat on the weekend, don't you, buddy?
Yes, and it can all be yours if you just sign here on the dotted line.
And I say no.
I understand that could lead to trouble, it could lead to pain, it could lead to suffering.
But I'm not willing to sacrifice my rights so that this unelected, unaccountable cabal of globalist trillionaires can continue to rob us blind and do it in the name of preserving and protecting our democracy and democratic institutions here and abroad.
Not sure I agree with that.
So, that's why they don't like us, though.
Because people like us, this is how we think.
I'm not speaking for you, I'm just saying that people I know, perhaps you, maybe you disagree.
And that's great.

Stomp on the flag and light it up.
Yeah, you think it's tough.
Try that in a small town.
See how far you make it down the road.
We'll be right back.
Welcome back to Just Forum Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
Now, as the world is continually being mesmerized by the next big thing, whether it's the, you know, Hollywood movie show or award shows or the, you know, Hollywood music award shows or it's the next big sporting events championship.
I mean, of course, we had football season kickoff.
Uh, this weekend, the regular season starting.
And of course, a lot of people are looking at that.
Um, and of course, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with watching sports and enjoying sports.
It's not, it's not that, but there are a lot of people who vest their entire identity in, uh, you know, the tribal list wars, tribalistic wars that they, uh, fake wars.
I should say that they, the gladiator games that they want us to be enamored by and then distracted with, and then, you know, presumably, you know, Withdraw ourselves from all meaningful societal civic duties like, you know, political participation, participation in the political process, particularly.
Um, so that was a lot of Ps there.
Participation in political process, particularly.
Huh.
That's a good one.
My words are going good today.
I'm cracking myself up, so don't worry about that.
You know, and they always want us to convince each other that we should be looking at the separation of, you know, who's on what political side and all of that with regard to their favorite actors and celebrities.
But meanwhile, meanwhile, there's a lot of stuff happening that people just don't want you to pay attention to.
First of all, One of the funnier clips I saw over the weekend was this clip, and I don't know if it was from, yeah it was over the weekend.
This is one of the funniest things ever.
A democrat strategist named Elizabeth Pencotti was on CNBC with a guy named Joe Kernan, and I just want to play this exchange because it's so indicative of how the leftist mind is programmed and how simple it is to break the programming, but then the cognitive dissonance kicks in and then they're just like, oh, okay.
But listen to their explanation of the economy.
Listen to this.
Who do you think provides the jobs in this country and the people that work at those companies that pay the taxes to afford everything we do?
The government can't provide jobs.
Who's going to pay the government workers?
The government doesn't have... The government is, in fact, the largest employer in the United States.
Yeah, exactly.
And where do you get the money to pay those employees?
I think that there's this, you know, false reality that trickle-down economics has worked for the past 50 years.
Just answer me.
Where do you get the money to pay the government employees?
Just answer that.
That's all I want you to answer.
Revenue from both households and corporations.
It all flows down from the private sector.
I'm sorry to tell you.
I mean, you gotta love that.
He's sitting there saying, he's like, Your plan is to take money from the private sector, but the private sector is what allows the federal government to even exist.
And she's like, who's the biggest employer?
Well, the federal government's the biggest employer.
Well, where does the federal government get the money to employ people?
Uh, well, the households.
It's like, what?
Where do the households get the money?
It's not the federal government.
Even though in some cases it is, unfortunately for us.
More and more.
This is like the leftist mindset.
They have a complete and total incapability to understand you know, simple economics and that that leads them into this kind of, you know, downward vortex of thought where it's like, oh, government will fix everything.
We just need to tax everything until there's nothing left.
And, but there'll always be something because even if there's nothing left, we'll just print more and we'll take more.
And it's like, you people have absolutely a no idea how economics works, but B have, you know, completely disassociated yourself with the reality in which all the rest of this country exists.
and You know, you have some Democratic strategist whose, you know, economic background is like her daddy helped her open a college savings account when she was, you know, When she was in high school and then, you know, she used her Bank of America card while she was at Phi Theta Kappa at the University of Arizona, and now she's telling us all about her, you know, well, the government, in case you didn't know.
By the way, I made that background up about her just presumed, presumably off of her exercised level of intelligence in that interview.
And I'm not an economist myself, but you can have a simple grasp on how things work without having to jump through the mental gymnastics of, oh, well, how is this equitable?
You know, it's evil rich people.
Speaking of evil rich people, Tony Fauci, Lady Gaga, and others are joining Bill Gates for his new documentary.
I'm going to play this preview.
Listen to this.
This is a show about our future.
The world is facing a lot of big challenges right now.
Climate change.
Creating responsible AI.
Misinformation.
Income inequality.
Dealing with infectious diseases.
But I believe we can solve them.
How will artificial intelligence impact society?
Crafted text to my son using Gen Z slang.
Yo fam, what's good?
How you vibin'?
At a certain point, A.I.
will be good enough to build a better A.I.
So A.I.
builds a better A.I., which builds a better, which builds a better, which builds a better, which builds a better, which builds a better, which builds a better.
It's getting hard to write science fiction.
There's always been conspiracy theories.
We underestimate how creative Americans are.
Bill Gates is part of a reptilian race that includes Tom Hanks and Lady Gaga.
Entertainment and information are a lot closer together than they ever have been before.
There's no way to stop it.
I don't have the solution.
Come on, Bill.
We have to give up hydrocarbons almost entirely.
Climate change benefits by having lots of young activists.
I operate from love of my home and the people.
I learn from them just like I do from the scientists coming up with the breakthroughs.
We have the obscene situation where there are three people, you being one of them, who own more wealth than the bottom half of America.
Is the system working?
In your judgment, is it working?
What do you think?
We've got a lot of work to do.
The sooner, the better.
My hope is to eradicate malaria in my lifetime.
I want to eradicate it in my lifetime.
It's a tougher constraint, so... If Bill Gates didn't exist, we'd have to make him up.
If we did, no one would believe the character.
We have to thrive in a nation and get ahead on these challenges.
Do you think we can do it?
Absolutely.
What's next?
The future with Bill Gates!
Oh, great.
Some of the people, in case you didn't recognize their voices featured in that trailer, uh, included, uh, Bono from U2, Lady Gaga, um, who else?
There was, uh, just, uh, Tony Fauci.
He had a few one-liners in there.
And others.
I mean, look.
This is the kind of propaganda that they're going to shove down your throat again.
You have to understand this documentary or whatever it is that this show or whatever it is.
This is nothing short of a personal PR campaign for Bill Gates, right?
But what was interesting is when they were mocking conspiracy theorists, quote-unquote, by saying that Bill Gates and Lady Gaga are reptilians, and then it cuts to Lady Gaga and Bill Gates.
No, they're not reptilians.
They're actually satanic Luciferians.
How do I know this?
That's because Lady Gaga trained under a satanic priestess named Marina Ambramovich.
And she's very closely connected with a lot of these Hollywood people.
You should look her up.
Stay tuned.
We're coming back.

Someone on the 970 says, I like the word superfluous as far as sports go.
I think I agree.
I agree.
It is mighty superfluous.
But I'm not saying that enjoying sports isn't a healthy pastime, you know, if you want to get your mind off stuff.
There's something about teamwork and camaraderie I always love about sports, you know.
It's really a positive thing.
When people, like I said, make it their identity or use it as an excuse to become disconnected from the part of the world that really matters, that's where I take exception.
So, there you go.
And also, somebody said, Jim Morrison and the Doors should drop their new comeback hit for 2024.
Kamala's a big, fat liar.
And they sent a post here.
Let's listen to this great new song.
So, Jim Morrison and the Doors are still making hits?
What world is this?
Listen to this.
Say what is untrue You are a master Force of fire When somebody Back checks you Like a chameleon You change your attire Come along Some big fat liar Come along Some big fat liar Liar, liar Pass on fire The time for cackling -
The thing is threat.
The wildest condition is dire.
Now the party turns to you.
It's time to claim what you desire.
Kamala's a big bad liar.
Kamala's a big bad liar.
Liar, liar, that's all.
I'll pass on Oh yeah Oh yeah Oh thanks for that It's always good to have a nice laugh.
Laughing is healthy.
Okay, so I guess one of the final stories I want to talk about here quickly is...
This story here, uh, cash for tell went on X 22 report, I think, uh, last week and said this about what they're going to do with him to, um, I guess in this instance work with Biden, the commander in chief who could also, by the way, slip the commander in chief hat over to Kamala, uh, in the lead up to the election here to make her quote unquote president and give her a boost politically.
Um, somehow, uh, and he could just retire from the seat.
Do you think that'll be an October surprise?
I think it's in the works.
I've always said this.
Look, I think that no member of the Biden family will ever go to prison.
This tax trial that Hunter Biden's now underway is a total sham and a fraud.
He should have been charged with multiple serious felonies years ago.
Not to mention the fact that he's already a convicted felon.
But daddy is going to save him.
He's never going to do a day in jail.
And I think the horse trade will be, I'm going to, Joe Biden, leave or retire.
You, Kamala, are going to take the reins.
And once the election is over, you're going to pardon my son and my entire family and myself.
Because remember, presidential pardons aren't just retroactive, they're prospective.
So if you pardon someone, you pardon them for the entirety of the conduct that you put in the pardon paperwork.
And I've always thought that that was going to be some way, some deal to horse straight, because if you can count on Joe Biden to do one thing, it's to save his family from all this illicit conduct that they have been caught in.
And he can do it with the stroke of a pen.
But they can still bring charges.
All right.
So that that was Kash Patel.
And it goes directly in line with a theory I've had.
I'm sure you guys have heard me say it here before, and it's still in play, that I said Joe Biden would step down from the race.
I said that Kamala would be the one.
And I said, well, I guess my original theory was that they were going to have that happen first, actually, that Joe Biden was going to step down as president or have some, you know, other type of emergency that made him step down.
Then Kamala would become president.
And then my suspicion was they were going to basically tell Kamala Kamala to announce not to run for president so they could bring in somebody like Michelle Obama to run in her place.
But I believe that plan may I've got it.
I may have gotten it reversed.
I may have gotten a reverse where, you know, Kamala is the candidate they're going to try to push across the finish line.
And they're going to try to install her as president to like cash said, help ensure the Biden crime family gets away with every crime.
And I know Cash is right.
I don't think I know.
I know no Biden's going to see a jail cell.
It's just not going to happen.
And you can say that that's ridiculous, and it's wrong, and it's evil, and it's indicative of how broken our society is, and all those things are true, but it's just like expecting Bush to go to jail, or Obama to go to jail, or any, it's like, these are things that just won't happen, not necessarily because they aren't justifiable, but perhaps because they're, the way, the crimes that they've committed are of such a grand scale in nature that
Even the modicum of a possibility that they would go to jail would be a threat to national security.
Because it could, it could give other countries adversaries, you know, reason to renege on agreements, international trade accords, et cetera, et cetera.
I mean, you go down the list, they could say, well, we made a deal with a bad faith actor who was a criminal.
So therefore the deal doesn't stand anymore.
And they've leveraged themselves into positions so that they are untouchable.
Let's put it that way.
And you know how you know it's all corrupt and broken?
Because the one person they're trying to put in jail is the one person who they want to break all the... They want to take everything he did during his four years in office and get rid of it.
And delegitimize it.
So there's one person who is susceptible to this kind of persecution, to this kind of criminal prosecution for crimes that he never committed, and that's Trump.
And you know why?
It's because they do want to delegitimize all of the things he did while he was president.
They do want to undermine the faith of the people in the institutions when he was in charge of them.
So you see how that works, right?
So of course...
That's the way I read the political tea leaves.
But when we come back, I'm going to play Pastor Dean Miller's sermon, which you guys are going to want to hear.
It's about maintaining our victory, and it's a very powerful and amazing sermon.
Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
The services are Sundays, 9, 13, and 11.
And I've seen a lot of you guys showing up, and I'm very blessed and thankful.
Stay tuned.

and 11 a.m.
are the services, but let's listen to Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon, Maintaining Our Victory.
Singing, you may be seated.
That's a great, great song for the cause of Christ.
We're going to speak a little bit about that today.
Colossians chapter 1.
If you'll find that in your Bible, those of you that may be new to our church, or perhaps you're a guest today, we've been going through the book of Colossians.
And our prayer is in this book, what Paul's prayer was, that we would stay on target Listen, the church, how many of you have seen in our world today, the American church has lost its focus and the American church is not on target.
And our target is the Lord Jesus Christ.
We are here as his church with his gospel and his word.
And we are to proclaim Christ.
And we've seen churches in our nation acquiesce to the culture.
We have become more entertainment-based than we are growing in Christ.
I want to show you what the purpose of the church is in the book of Colossians chapter 1.
In fact, before we even read this, I wasn't I hesitated to do this and I did this earlier.
I want you to go with me back to the book of Ephesians for just a minute.
Mark there in Colossians.
And let's just look at a few verses before we jump into our message today to lay the foundation here.
Look at Ephesians chapter 4.
In verse number 11, the Bible says, And he gave some, this is the Lord Jesus, gave some apostles and some prophets and some evangelists and some Pastors and teachers.
Why did God give these apostles?
Why did the Lord call apostles?
Why did God send evangelists?
Why did God now give the church pastors and teachers?
Why?
For this purpose.
Watch it.
Look at your Bible.
The perfecting of the saints.
Now that doesn't mean that Christians are to be perfect in the sense of sinless, but perfect or complete, maturing, growing up in Christ.
For the perfecting of the saints, why?
Why do saints need to mature?
For the work of the ministry.
Many people look at the pastor and say, Pastor, you do the work of the ministry.
I say no.
My job is to mature God's people so that they can do the work of the ministry.
My ministry is to mature you in Christ so that you can do the work of the ministry.
Why?
Verse number 12.
For the edifying of the body of Christ.
Listen, the body of Christ is built up, is strengthened, is empowered by God's people doing what they're supposed to be doing from a mature Christian standpoint.
Maturing of the Christian brings ministry for the Christian, which brings edification and building of the body of Christ.
And how long do we do that?
Verse 13, till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God unto a perfect man, I mean a complete mature man.
What does that look like?
Under the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
Okay?
So the church, we are to mature so that we can minister, so that we can build up the church until the whole church comes into the measure and stature of Jesus Christ.

I'm your host Craig James.
It's hour two of the Just a Forum Talk Radio show.
And of course, we are listening to a sermon from Pastor Dean Miller over at Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Before we get back to that, though, quickly want to thank one of our sponsors.

So that's just as important as being at church on Sundays and we really thank them for being a sponsor and I want you guys to go support him and check it out.
But with that being said, let's go back to Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon on maintaining the victory.
Listen to me carefully.
What is the goal of the church?
It is life change through the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Okay, how many of you remember when you got saved, you became a new what?
Alright, let's say it again.
We became a new... We became a new creation in Christ.
We're now a new... We're a whole brand new thing.
We have a new birth.
We've been born into something new.
Now we have to grow in that.
And what are we growing in?
We're growing in Christ.
What does a mature Christian look like?
He looks like Jesus.
What does a mature Christian think like?
He thinks like Jesus.
Now listen, that's the goal.
That's the purpose.
Look over at Philippians chapter 3 very quickly.
You're in Ephesians, flip back one book to Philippians 3.
Brethren, Paul said, I count not myself to have apprehended But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, I press, reaching forth on those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Here's what Paul said.
Paul said, now look, the goal of the Christian life is to become like Christ.
Paul said, and I haven't done it yet.
I've not attained that yet.
How many of you have attained it?
Alright, don't put your hand up, okay?
How many of you still have some growing to do?
Alright, good.
How many of you are further ahead than somebody else?
No, don't put your hands up, okay?
Our standard and measure is not others.
You're not measuring your Christian life by mine.
I'm not measuring my Christian life by yours.
I'm not measuring my Christianity by my wife or by my children or by anything else.
My measuring stick is Jesus.
Now listen, until I am like Him, I've got growing to do.
How many of you husbands still have growing to do?
Alright?
How many of you husbands, your wife still has growing to do?
Alright?
We have a few husbands that need to grow, because you shouldn't have raised your hand right there.
Alright?
We got growing to do!
We all need to grow in Christ, and that's the purpose of the church.
Paul said, now listen, I haven't obtained that yet.
I've not yet apprehended it, but I have it.
I've been saved, and I'm pressing toward that mark of that prize of the high calling of God.
Look at verse number 15 in Philippians 3.
Let us therefore, as many as be mature, Or perfect, be thus minded.
And if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal this unto you.
He said, look, he said this should be the mindset of every maturing Christian.
The mindset of every maturing Christian is, I am trying to grow in Christ.
And if there's anything in my mind that is not focused on that, God needs to show me that to get me back in alignment to grow like Christ.
Okay, everybody got it?
Okay, so the church, the purpose of the church is to help grow believers into completeness and maturity in Christ.
This is the goal.
What does a Christian who is maturing in Christ, what does a mature Christian look like?
He looks like Jesus.
He thinks like Jesus.
He talks like Jesus.
He loves like Jesus.
He is going to move in his life Christ in him working through him.
Christian maturity, listen to me carefully, Christian maturity requires A complete and radical reordering of our priorities.
If I'm gonna grow in Christ, it's just gonna change my priorities.
Now, I'm not living to please me.
I'm living to please Him.
I'm not living after my desires.
I'm living in obedience to His desires.
By the way, that's growing.
I'm still growing because I have a lot of Dean Miller in me that wants to do what Dean Miller wants.
I got a lot of pleasing Dean in me.
There's a lot of things I want.
There's a lot of things I feel like doing.
But they may not be what the Lord wants or what the Lord wants me to do.
And so, the growing of the Christian life is to say, I've got to reorder my priorities and my goal is now to please Him and to obey Him and to yield to Him and let Him grow in me.
Which means I'm going to have to discipline myself.
I'm going to have to grow in the disciplines of the Christian life.
I'm going to have to get into His Word, find out His mind, let Him speak to me.
I'm going to have to grow in prayer.
I'm going to have to grow in the fellowship of the believers.
I need to find ministry and service to live this out.
I need to learn how to be a steward of what God has given me, so that I'm not using all my things for my pleasure, but I'm using His things for His glory.
See, it's a whole different change.
It's altogether a transformative work that God does in the life of the believer.
See, I wasn't sure that I was going to be in church today.
Because somebody with a good heart gave me a lottery ticket this week.
It's the first time it's ever happened.
Now, I think playing the lotto is a poor man's tax.
I think it's a bad stewardship.
But the Mega Millions was up to $780 million.
Now, I didn't know that until this week when somebody came by and said, Pastor, I want you to have this.
I said, what is this?
He said, it's a ticket.
I got a ticket for you.
The numbers are $780 million.
And I said to him, thank you.
If I win, I'm not giving you any of it.
I said, I want to just go on record.
I'm not splitting this with you.
You say, did you win?
Am I here?
Somebody said, my wife said, what are you, what's the church going to say if the pastor wins the lottery?
I said, I think they'll get over it when they see the new building going up.
I said, but there's going to change the receiving line after church.
Pastor, my mortgage is this and I could really use that.
And I said, it's going to change everything.
And so I think I won by losing.
But anyway, now listen, Here's the problem.
We, we, we, as Christians, we start seeing everything in the world as it, as it comes to us.
And by the way, that person had a good heart and I talked to him.
I said, you ought not do this.
And this isn't, this isn't a good stewardship of God's money.
The Lord doesn't want you to get something for nothing.
He said, that cost me two bucks.
And I said, okay, well.
And so I had to help him.
And he loves the Lord.
And he loves me.
And he's growing.
He's a growing Christian.
How many of you are a growing Christian?
Okay.
And so we've got to forget the things that are behind.
Our successes, our failures, and all of that.
We've got to move forward and grow in the Lord.
And we've got to reorder our priorities and all the things that God is calling us to do to grow into Jesus Christ.
Now let's look at our text because this is where it gets very practical for you.
And we're going to take a very complex part of Scripture, and we're going to make it very, very simple right now, and we're going to make it apply to my life and your life.
Look at chapter 1 and verse number 28.
Paul speaking of Jesus, whom we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom.
Why?
That we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
Paul said, we are warning, and we are teaching, and we are preaching.
We're winning people to Christ.
We're discipling them.
Why?
So they can become mature in Christ.
That's the goal.
That's the goal.
And Paul said, whereunto I also labor.
I'm doing this.
I'm in this labor.
Striving according to His working, which worketh in me mightily.
Paul said, I'm in this laboring to mature other people for Christ.
I'm growing and I'm trying to help others to grow.
Chapter divisions weren't in the Bible originally.
They were there to help us to find our place.
So let's look at chapter two.

Let's go right back to it.
For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you and for them at Laodicea.
"...and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh, that their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words." Now, now, now look.
When you read that in the Bible, some of the things that Paul writes, you get to the end of it and you go, hmm?
What was that?
How many of you just did that when we were reading that?
You just thought, now wait a minute, what?
I need to go back and look at that.
What did he say there?
Sometimes Paul just kind of just runs on these big things, and there are some really deep things in here, but they're very, very practical.
They're intensely spiritual, but they're very practical.
And this is what Paul's saying.
The goal is, watch this, the goal is spiritual maturity.
To bring all the believers into the image of Christ.
That you could look like Jesus.
So we want to bring all the believers into the maturity of Christ.
And Paul said, now I also labor, you should labor.
And Paul's going to tell us, now watch, Paul's going to tell us how we, as a church body, bring people into Christian maturity.
What does it take for a church to help mature each other?
What is the ministry of the church in maturing other believers?
And by the way, to understand this concept is going to help you to understand the Old Testament.
The Old Testament is a foreshadowing of this.
Here's God's people living in Egypt under the rule of Pharaoh in slavery and in bondage.
They're redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.
They're baptized in the Red Sea unto Christ and they go out.
They're to go across that old wilderness into Canaan.
Canaan is not a picture of heaven.
Canaan is a picture of spiritual victory.
They're going over that Jordan.
They're going to come see walls down, eat milk and honey.
They're going to go into that place and they're going to take that place of Canaan for God.
And they're gonna declare the name of God among the heathens so that others can know who God is.
Israel was supposed to do that.
But what did they end up doing?
They got redeemed by the blood, they got baptized, and then they wandered in the wilderness.
They were wilderness wanderers instead of being Canaan conquerors.
God had to get them out of wandering and get them into Canaan and help them to start seeing some victories.
Then they got over there and they started thinking, man, look what we've done.
Did you see those walls we knocked down?
Did you see those giants we killed?
Did you see that?
Look at all we have!
And they started enjoying all of this for themselves, taking it all for themselves.
Then they got away from God over there.
God had to yank them out and take them to Babylon, put them into captivity for a while, reshape their thinking, bring them back into the land and say, this is where you're supposed to be victorious, and this is where you're supposed to be a conqueror, and this is where you're supposed to live in victory.
How many of us, our Christian lives have been like that?
We got saved.
We got baptized.
We found ourselves wandering.
We sometimes went in victory.
We sometimes went back.
We sometimes went into captivity.
We sometimes fail.
And here's what God is saying.
God is saying, it's time for you to see that we don't have to be going back and forth and vacillating, but we can grow into Christ, into mature Christians.
I don't know about you, but I need this message this morning.
And this church needs a message.
What do you do?
How are you to encourage others?
And how are you going to equip others to grow in Christ?
Let me show you what Paul was talking about.
Number one, I want you to see this.
What does it take for the church to help each other mature in Christ?
Number one, it takes constant encouragement.
It takes constant encouragement.
Look at verse 2 of chapter 2.
That their heart might be comforted.
Paul said, I have been in this conflict.
Did you see in verse 1, I've been in this conflict?
That is the Greek word agony.
It's where we get our idea of a marathon or a sport contest.
In the Greek world, they called the conflict, they called that the meeting at the arena.
When they all gathered in the arena, that was the conflict.
By the way, we still do it in our world today.
It'll happen today.
The Denver Broncos are going to battle with, I don't know who they're going to battle with today, but probably won't be very good.
But they're going to go to battle today.
But we go to these arenas and we have the conflict, the contest.
There's a battle, there's a striving, there's an agony, there's a labor, there's a fight going on.
Paul said, I'm in this contest, I'm in this agony, I am fighting in this battle, this spiritual battle, to mature you in Christ.
And you need to be in the conflict too.
You need to be in this arena too.
You need to be out there equipping and helping.
We're all in a battle.
Listen, if you're a Christian today, how many of you know that as a Christian we're living in a world that is absolutely opposed to everything we believe?
How many of you know that?
And this world gets weary, and this world comes at you, and this world presses us, confuses us, discourages us, beats us up.
I mean, there are many times we just get overwhelmed at all that's going on in the world.
We're going through our own day-to-day lives.
Our kids are sick.
We have a car accident.
Somebody gets a bad diagnosis.
We're having trouble at jobs.
Our job, our troubles in our marriage, and we're going through all these things in life.
Life is this conflict, and this arena, and this struggle, and this battle.
But I want to tell you, if we do this the right way, God can take all of those things and work them together for our good to grow us into the image of Christ.
And we got to be helping each other with number one, constant encouragement.
Listen, do you know how far encouragement goes?
I read about a guy one day, he opened up the door and there was a little dog.
It wasn't his dog, but a little dog wagging his tail with a newspaper.
He brought the man's newspaper.
And the guy thought, man, I'm in my house coat, my slippers.
I didn't want to have to go out there and get the newspaper.
And this little dog brought it to me.
Man, he said, good boy, good boy.
And he got a little treat and gave the dog a treat.
Went inside and read his paper.
Didn't think much about it.
The next day, he opened up the front door and there was that dog wagging his tail with eight newspapers on the front porch.
He said, I had to spend all morning long trying to re-deliver all those papers to my neighbors.
Why?
Just a little encouragement.
Now I want to tell you, church, listen to me.
There are people within arm's length of you today that need encouragement.
God has called you to comfort their hearts.
The word encouraging means to give them new heart.
To give them new heart.
There are some people around you today that are fighting, and struggling, and hurting, and they're under things, and they walk in here, and they've got nice clothes on, they're all dressed up, got their hair done, and they've got a smile on their face, and they walk in here as though everything's okay, but in their heart it's not okay!
They've got burdens, they've got sorrow, they've got fears, they've got difficulties, and you need to be a church that says, I'm going to encourage other people.
You cannot be a casual observer and attender at a church.
You cannot just be on a cruise ship hoping that the church just entertains you enough and gives you a good show this week.
Listen, that's not what the church is.
The church is a place where we come together and we give each other new heart.
By the way, you can't do that just sitting by yourself somewhere.
You need to get into a class.
You need to get into a connection group.
You've got to get into a group of other people.
You need to get into a nucleus of people where you can be the encourager, and they can encourage you, and you can cheer each other on in the cause of Christ.
Encouragement goes so far.
Encouragement is not just shallow sympathy.
After two decades of pastoring, I warn people when we come to a funeral, I tell the family, now listen, people are going to come to this service, or they're going to come to this viewing, and they're going to say things that are going to hurt your feelings.
They're going to just be dumb.
People are going to say dumb things.
And they don't mean to say dumb things.
They mean to really try to encourage you, but they don't know how to do it.
Because listen to me, you don't just encourage with mere words.
You can't just find flowery ways to say things.
When I was a new pastor, I'll never forget, I'd only been pastoring for just a short while and I got a phone call of a mother and father who found their baby, five months old, dead.
Before they ever called 911, they called me.
And I'll never forget them racing down Elks Lake Road and I was leaving the church to go to them and we met at this gas station.
I'll never forget when she took that baby and she just tossed that baby out to me.
Help him.
I remember when I was driving over there as a pastor, what do I say?
I was trying to think of things to say.
I need to have some pastoral thing to say.
I tell you, I learned through the years, nobody ever came back and said, hey pastor, boy, you really said the right thing.
You know what people said?
Thank you for being there.
Pastor, thank you for being there.
Let me tell you, people don't need your flowery words.
They just need you to be there.
Church, I want to just tell you, you don't understand the encouragement that you give to your pastor.
Every time I walk out that door, I'm not saying this for pity, but people sometimes don't understand the magnitude of burdens and the multiplicity of burdens that a pastor carries.
As you pray through families, you have people who are backsliding, people who are wandering, people who are in sin that you're trying to help them.
You got people who marriages are hurting.
You got, you got, we got burdens everywhere.
And, and, and then on top of that, you have spiritual things where Satan tries to buffet your mind at night to keep you awake.
Temptations to sin, spiritual battles all the time.
Relentless.
And there are times I walk out that door and walk up here and seeing you, what it does to my heart.
It just gives me renewed vigor.
We can do something.
God's working.
We can accomplish the work of God.
And it just gives another shot.
Now listen, I know we all need to get that from the Lord.
But God has also given it to one another that you would get some things from God to share with other people.
You know, how do we encourage each other?
Not with flowery words.
Let me tell you how we encourage each other.
We encourage each other by renewing their hope in Christ.
You renew hope in Christ.
You come to somebody who's discouraged and you remind them of Christ.
You remind them of His promises.
You love on them like Jesus would love them.
You just be there like Christ would be there.
You pray for them.
You encourage them.
You cheer them.
And listen, the second way you encourage people is you strengthen them in their faith.
You help people who are wavering to stand firm on the Word of God.
Listen, this is how you give people new heart.
Strengthen people in their faith.
Renew people in their hope in Christ.
We need to encourage one another.
And by the way, even as people get older, don't ever take for granted, don't ever take for granted that older people who have known God for so many years are just, they've got it all together.
Sometimes it's the older Christians who've been faithful examples.
Satan's after them, because if he can get them to get grumpy and bitter in their old age, he can ruin their testimony.
I remember a guy out hunting one time, he was out hunting birds, and he was an old farmer, he had an old pointer dog with him.
And you could tell, these guys had put some, this guy and his dog had put a lot of miles on together through the years.
And he was out with a bunch of guys out, took them out in his field, they were hunting.
And his old dog went over and pointed on a bush, pointed.
And the farmer gave him instruction, flush!
And the thing flushed and he just shot twice in the air.
Dog came running back to him and one of the young guys that was hunting with him said, why did you do that?
There were no birds.
He goes, you know that and I know that, but Sparky don't know that.
He's gotten older.
His eyes and ears and nose aren't what they used to be.
He said, but we've come too far for me to disappoint him and discourage him now.
Now, let me tell you something.
You know, there's sometimes we walk by older Christians and we think they got it all together.
You know, sometimes they need some cheering too.
We need to encourage them.
So number one, how do we mature people?
Number one, very quickly, by constant encouragement.
Number two, look at verse number two, that their hearts might be comforted being knit together in love.
Constant encouragement, now watch this, and Christ-like endearment.
Christ-like endearment.
That their hearts being knit together in love.
I love that phrase.
The words knit together is the description of how the human body is held together.
Now, I don't know how your pancreas is hanging in there today, but you better be glad it is.
Somehow that pancreas is attached and it's pancreatizing.
I'm glad Dean Spleen is doing what Dean Spleen is supposed to do today.
I didn't even think about my spleen until I just said that, but I want to tell you, you haven't thought about your spleen, but I want to tell you, if it wasn't spleen, then you'd know it.
You haven't thought one minute about your little appendix hanging down there like a pinky off the side of your intestines, but let me tell you, you let that thing get inflamed and infected and pop, you're gonna think a lot about it.
And I'll tell you, that body is knit together.
Listen, the ankle bone is connected to the leg bone, the leg bone connected to the knee bone, the knee bone connected to the hip bone.
And listen, all of it is together.
You ride in the car, you bounce down the road, your body is bouncing and you're doing all kinds of things.

Welcome back to Just Forum Talk Radio.
We're going back to Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon, Maintaining Our Victory.
This is Front Range Baptist Church out of Fort Collins, Colorado.
Services are on Sunday at 9, 30, and 11.
Let's listen.
It's all hanging in there where it's supposed to be.
Aren't you glad you don't have to get up at the end of every day and rearrange everything?
Put it all back in order?
And why don't you have to do that?
Your heart stays where it's supposed to.
Your lungs stay where they're supposed to.
Your kidneys stay where they're supposed to.
Why?
They're all knit together!
And God said, that's how I want the church.
I want the church to be knit together.
Now you can't do that as a Lone Ranger Christian.
You can't do that by just looking from the outside, looking in.
You can't do that by just being a casual observer.
You got to get in and get involved with other people.
And I want to tell you, you're going to come to conflict with other people.
When you get into the body, you're going to have some friction.
You're going to have some contention.
You're going to find out that there are certain things that certain parts of your body may not be in cooperation.
And you're going to have to let the Holy Spirit help you to love each other through it, and stay in unity through it, and to be bound one to another.
By the way, that kind of unity and that kind of love is foreign to the thinking of this world.
This world does not understand.
This world is so dog-eat-dog and faction.
The other night, I heard about this just the other day.
The other night, Kansas City Cheese played, uh, the Kansas City Cheats.
They played on, uh, on Thursday night.
And what I found out is, uh, I found out that Taylor Swift could not sit in the same box with Patrick Mahomes' wife.
Because Patrick Mahomes' wife is a Trump supporter and she liked some of his tweets on Twitter or whatever, or whatever it's called, and she liked it.
So now they can't be friends because, listen to me, listen to me, we look at that and we think, how petty.
That happens in the church all the time.
We get in disagreements.
We get fussing.
We get catty.
We get fighting.
Then we start going over to other people.
We try to get them on our team.
Don't you think I'm right?
Don't you think that shouldn't you agree with me against them?
And we don't even realize what we're doing, but we're doing the devil's work when we gossip and slander and divide and we sow discord.
That's the devil's work.
And he said, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Be knit together.
Love one another.
That's the greatest testimony of the church, is when the church of people of all backgrounds and the diversity in this body, economically and educationally and in all kinds of ways, we are so different from one another.
And this is an enigma in this world.
That people with such differences can come together in one and love one another and pray for one another and care for one another.
Thank God for the church being knit together.
Let me tell you something, the love of Christ in you will solve any minor difference that you have with somebody else and help you to love them like Christ loved you.
You know, stop making a case against somebody else to make you feel justified that you're right.
That is not how God loved you.
If He wanted to build a case against you, He could very easily build a case against you.
Can you imagine God going to all the angels and saying, hey, you know, I should probably throw that person in hell.
Look at what they did.
And all the angels saying, we agree.
Wouldn't that be something?
But you know what God did?
God, for Christ's sake, forgave you.
God didn't share your personal things with anybody else.
He died for them.
He took them on Himself and He bore those burdens.
Husbands and wives, we have no time for fussing and fighting.
Your husband needs to see Christ in you.
Your wife needs to see Christ in you.
Your children need to see Christ in you.
Listen, we got to live and knit together in the love of God.
That's the work of Christ in us, that He knits us together in the love of God.
I mean, listen, there are a lot of people who are not very lovable.
And somebody said one time, well, I just don't get along with that person.
You serve in ministry.
I don't get along with them.
They have a personality different than mine.
I said, I know, but they have the same spirit you do.
And I'll promise you this, your personality may not like their personality, but the Holy Spirit in you loves the Holy Spirit in them.
So you let the Holy Spirit love the part of them that He loves, and you'll love them.
There's so much could be done for the gospel if Christians would quit trying to find ways to divide and let the Holy Spirit knit us together in the love of Christ.
That's a good place to shake your head up and down right there and say, Amen.
All right.
I'm glad three of you are paying attention.
We're done.
Here's the last thing and we're going home.
What do we need to mature each other?
We need constant encouragement.
We need Christ-like endearment to one another.
Let me give you the third thing.
Look at verse number two.
Their hearts might be comforted being knit together in love and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God and of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words." Notice the words, notice that phrase there, the riches, the riches.
of full assurance.
Look back at verse 27 of chapter 1.
To whom God would make known what is the riches of His glory.
Everybody see that?
See the riches?
Here it is.
Constant encouragement, Christ-like endearment, and consistent enrichment.
Consistent enrichment.
What do you mean?
I mean too many Christians are living like paupers.
We're living poor in our spiritual life.
When God has given you all things that pertain to life and godliness, we are rich in Christ Jesus.
Let me tell you what He gave us.
He told us right here, these three words.
He gave us understanding, He gave us wisdom, and He gave us knowledge.
You say, well, what are those?
Well, let me give them to you quickly.
Understanding.
What does it mean to have understanding?
The word understanding means to place together.
In other words, let me give you a simple way to understand this.
Understanding is the ability to assess.
To put it together.
Spiritual understanding is being able to take what is going on in this world, and rather, what is going on in your own personal life, and put it together with what God says about it, and see how God is working, and understand God working in your life.
Does everybody understand that?
Understanding is being able to put together what's happening in my life with what's happening with God's will, and how I can understand that God is at work.
The Bible said of the children of Issachar in 1 Chronicles 12, verse 32, that the children of Issachar, which had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.
These guys were able to assess what was going on in the world, And understand what God was doing in the world.
I wish to God today that Christians would get an understanding that what's going on in the world is not being dictated by Communist China, or by Russia, or by the Democrats, or by the Republicans.
That the world is just being the world.
And the world is in its confusion and its insanity.
But above all of that, God is at work!
And if you know this book and you look at this world, you can understand and put it together and assess what God is doing.
I am not one iota discouraged or afraid of the future.
My future is as bright as the promises of God.
My future is as bright as the glory of Jesus Christ.
My future is as bright as all that Jesus has promised me in His Word.
I want to tell you, God is at work today.
Men who are writing this book by candlelight, And by little feathers and ink, I don't know how they wrote it all in scrolls, but men who had never seen an electric light bulb were writing things about global domination by an Antichrist.
They were writing things about technological advancements in the world that would bring chips and marks and all the things.
People who had never understood a thing about all of this were writing about it.
How do they know that?
Because God gave it to them.
It's God's Word, and God showed us what He's doing in the world so that we could understand it.
And then we got Christians walking around confused about what's happening in the world.
Why is all this happening?
Just read the Bible and let God give you understanding.
And you can assess what's happening.
That's understanding.
Number two, wisdom.
What is wisdom?
Wisdom is how to apply that understanding.
I assess what God is doing, and then I have wisdom to apply it.
It is now the outworking of what I have assessed.
I have gone to God's Word, I have understood the mind of Christ, I've understood what God is doing in my life, I've understood the circumstances that I'm in from God's vantage point, and now I'm going to use wisdom to apply that understanding to my life.
Alright, we're coming right back.
Feeling stressed?

Welcome back to this Forum Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James, and we're listening to Pastor Dean Miller's sermon on maintaining our victory, and we're wrapping it up here.
But for those of you interested, this is Front Range Baptist Church in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Services are at 9.30 and 11 a.m.
on Sunday mornings.
Let's go back to Pastor Miller.
Listen, we read God's Word to understand the mind of God so that we can have His wisdom to apply that to our life.
When you understand the mind of God, you're going to know how to love your wife.
When you read the Word of God and you understand God's plan, you're going to know how you need to love your husband.
You're going to know how to raise your children.
You're going to know in this wicked world how to bring children up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
You're gonna know how to manage your finances.
When you read the Word of God and you understand how God thinks about things, you're gonna know how to direct your steps and your course of your life.
I can walk in wisdom in this world because I understand what God's doing.
And you don't get that through your head.
You get that, like Paul said, through that enrichment of knowing God spiritually.
Growing in that.
And then lastly, I'm gonna say knowledge.
What is knowledge?
Knowledge is the assurance of the truth.
Knowledge is assurance.
It's to see the truth as it is in truth and to know and have confidence I'm in the truth.
So here's what I've done.
I've had an understanding of God and what God is doing.
I've understood his word.
I've spent time with him.
I've gained an understanding from God.
He gives me wisdom on how to apply that into my life and into my circumstances.
God knows what you're going through.
By the way, God doesn't just know how to talk English.
God knows how to talk you.
God knows how to talk to you the way you need to be talked to.
Amen.
You know, sometimes I'm a hard learner, so God has to get me to, like, smack my thumb with a hammer to get my, hey, I'm talking to you.
Now, He may not have to do that to you, but He has to do that to Dean.
God knows how to talk Dean.
God knows how to talk you.
And when I spend time with Him, I get an understanding of what God's doing in my life.
And then God gives me a wisdom on how to apply that.
And then I can walk in knowledge and assurance.
Now I know that I've obtained truth and I'm walking in truth and I'm walking in confidence and assurance.
How many Christians do you know are really walking in full assurance with God and with what they're doing and they're in the will of God and they're walking confidently in the assurance of God?
By the way, this is what gives you boldness.
This is what gives you strength.
It's what helps you stay the course.
To be steadfast.
To be unmovable.
To be always abounding in the work of the Lord.
It's what keeps your marriage together.
It's what keeps your home together.
It's what keeps the church together.
When Christians are walking in understanding and wisdom and knowledge.
And we're enriching each other with it.
We give that to one another.
This striving, this working, this conflict matures the saints, and it keeps the doctrine of the church intact.
It keeps false teachers at bay.
Look at verse 4, in this I say, listen, any man should beguile you with enticing words.
Listen, you give me a church full of people who have an understanding of God, they have wisdom of how to apply that understanding in their own personal lives, and they have the confidence that they're walking in truth.
You are not going to be shaken away and moved away.
False teachers can't come in here and start teaching anything that's against the Word of God without us knowing about it and reproving that and getting it out.
We're going to know right away.
Listen, that's an error.
It keeps the church in unity.
This is an absolute essential in keeping the church moving forward in spiritual maturity and in spiritual growth.
By the way, this letter was written to the Church of Colossae and the Church of Laodicea.
Laodicea didn't take heed to it.
Laodicea got caught up in what their own pleasure, walking in their own way, and they didn't grow in Christ.
And what happened to that church?
They had all the riches, they had all the things, they had a church filled with everything they needed, but where was Jesus?
Outside the church.
They lost focus and got off target.
And God said, you're a lukewarm church, and He spewed them out of His mouth.
Listen to me.
We want to be a church that's enriching each other.
We want to be a church that's endearing ourselves to each other.
We want to be a church that's constantly encouraging each other in faith and practice and growing in Christ.
Listen, that's a church that will not be shaken, but it's a church that'll shake the gates of hell.
That's a church that'll live in victory.
I want that.
I want to encourage you.
I want to enrich you.
I want to endear myself to you.
I want you to encourage me.
I want you to enrich me.
I want you to endear yourself to me.
I want you to encourage each other.
I want you to enrich each other.
I want you to endear yourself to each other.
Don't just be a casual observer.
Belong.
Get in.
Let the Lord knit you together.
Amen?
Now listen.
You cannot grow in Christ if you don't know Christ.
You have to know Him.
You have to know the Lord Jesus.
And if you don't know Christ, let me just tell you quite frankly, if you don't know Christ, your eternity is hell.
Forever and ever and ever and ever.
You say, that's not popular.
Well, it's true.
Jesus promised us that if a man, if a man rejected Him, That man's name would not be written in the Lamb's Book of Life, but he would be cast into a lake of fire.
And because I love you, I'm going to tell you that.
But I want to tell you right now, listen to me, you can have eternal life, and you can live in Heaven forever, you can have your sins forgiven, and you can have an assurance that you can know the mind of God, and you can have a relationship with Him as a Heavenly Father and as a child by simply this, by coming to the Lord Jesus Christ by faith.
You don't get that by joining a church.
You don't get that by being baptized.
You don't get that by taking the communion.
You don't get that by living a good life.
You don't get that because you got a perfect track record.
You get all of that because you came to Jesus Christ.
Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
If you do not know Christ Jesus today as your Lord and Savior, I'm not talking about that you know about Him.
I'm talking about that you know Him.
That you've come to Jesus.
My sheep hear my voice.
They learn of me.
If you know Him and you come to Him, listen, Jesus said, if you come to me, I'll in no wise cast you out.
You can be saved today.
Our heads are bowed, our eyes are closed.
Lord Jesus, I thank you for speaking to my heart.
Lord, how important the church is.
How important it is that we as believers have a red hot love for the Lord Jesus Christ and for His church and for one another.
Lord, how vital it is that the church be the caretaker of the truth that you've entrusted to us, that we declare the gospel with faithfulness and boldness and assurance, that we grow in Christ and we mature.
Lord, I pray that you would do a work in your people today, that all of us would have a desire to grow in Christ and have a desire to help others to grow in Christ.
Our heads are bowed, our eyes are closed.
Amen.

When I was broken at the bottom, I found you're my healer and redeemer, Jesus.
That's who you are.
You brought me blessings out of a tragedy.
You turned my old song into a symphony.
And with your spirit living inside of me, I'm a new creation.
I'm a new creation.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
But it rose until I stumbled and made my mistakes.
Then I could know in my soul how amazing was grace.

Yes, you are.

and 11 a.m.
are the two services.
So we hope we see you down there.
Alright, with that being said, we're going to finish with Psalm 119, as always.
Verse 153-160 says, Consider my affliction and rescue me, for I have not forgotten your instruction.
Defend my cause and redeem me.
Give me life as you promised.
Salvation is far from the wicked, because they do not seek your statutes.
Your compassions are many, Lord.
Give me life according to your judgments.
My persecutors and foes are many.
I have not turned from your decrees.
I have seen the disloyal and feel disgust.
Because they do not keep your word.
Consider how I love your precepts, Lord.
Give me life according to your faithful love.
The entirety of your word is truth, and all your righteous judgments endure forever.
Now, there is so much truth just in that small set of verses that it would be difficult for me to speak to each one, but the one that stood out to me is When we call on God, we should never forget that in the midst of our affliction, He will be the one to rescue us.
And in the midst of our affliction, we must not forget His instruction and trust that He will defend our cause if it's worthy and righteous.
And that He will redeem us.
And that's my message to all of you out there listening today.
Christ is the great Redeemer.
And if you want a relationship with Him, if you don't have one, now is your chance.
I would say open your heart, say a prayer, call on the name of the Lord, watch Him come into your life and do things that you may never have thought were possible.
And if you do already have a relationship with Jesus Christ, I encourage you to go out today and share it with your family, your friends, co-workers, whoever will listen.
Let's bring as many people to the kingdom as we can and build that treasure in heaven.
Alright, we're leaving it there.
Thanks for listening.
Thanks to everybody, texters, everybody listening.
We appreciate it.
We'll see you tomorrow, God willing.
Until then, I'm your host Craig James.
