As always, I am back here in studio, and boy, do we have a lot to update you on as far as the news goes.
But, you know, the big story, as far as I can tell of the day, is the Democrat National Convention kicking off in Chicago.
Yes, it is here and it has been ongoing.
It is something to really see if you are interested in watching just a masterclass in hypocrisy, ignorance, and depravity.
Yes, you will enjoy every moment of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago at the United Center.
We've had a few interesting guest speakers so far.
We've had people like Steve Kerr.
Yes, the noted liberal basketball coach gave a speech where he praised Kamala and, of course, derided Trump as his prerequisite for entry into the Democratic Party.
You must always say the famous line, orange man, bad.
Those three words are like the secret password that will get you into the DNC speakeasies at the end of the night.
So remember that if you don't remember anything else, because that's the thrust of what they're saying, along with a lot of incantations to the devil, glorification of degeneracy and demonic murdering of unborn children.
You know, just the normal things we've come to expect out of the leftists over there in the Democrat Party.
But so far it seems as though no matter what, no matter how hypocritical, no matter how arrogant or ignorant, they are incapable of being They have no shame, is what I'm trying to get at.
They have absolutely zero shame whatsoever, and that just seems to be par for the course with them.
So it is no surprise that we are here watching some of the, you know, last thralls of our constitutional republic as it peters away into the night.
And I don't want to be pessimistic, but good golly.
I mean, this is half our country, folks.
Even if it's not the majority, it's half our country who believe these crazy, psychotic lunatics.
And I know, you know, when we say these things, then we only make the divide further.
But to be quite honest, at this point, how can you reconcile, try to create a bridge to people who want to see Their own lives ended, as well as your life and your family's lives ended.
And I mean that in the sense that this is a cult of genocidal, suicidal lunatics.
And if you don't believe me, just look at their policies.
Mass abortion, they want genital mutilation of children, they want homosexuality to be the norm.
you know, the, the, the norm, it, it really is a going, it's going to destroy itself.
And they're trying, it's like they're trying to take us down with them the way I look at it now.
Of course, you know, misery loves company.
And of course they know where they're headed after this life, or maybe they don't.
And that's probably why they keep doing what they're doing.
But the, They usually those who are headed that way will try to bring as many people with them as they humanly can.
And that's pretty much my observations so far.
Of course, we had Joe Biden give his farewell speech, which, you know, just full of a bunch.
An angry old man yells at clouds is the the meme as it as it goes.
But yeah, that's basically him.
And the Democrats have cheated their way into this position of complete, you know, ridiculousness as far as how this whole contest has been going so far.
I mean, if you could only imagine, we've gone from a point where we had Joe Biden going up against Donald Trump, and I've noticed now the whole strategy to get rid of Joe Biden was he was Wildly unelectable.
Like, you know, they said he got 81 million votes.
Well, I mean, he got 81 million votes when you factor in the cheating and the fact that he hid in his basement for the entirety of the 2020 campaign and basically didn't do much of anything other than allow the Democrat machine and the Black Lives Matter and Antifa, you know, communists to go out and rig the election for him.
And now in 2024, as they realized that they dumped Joe Biden, they get Kamala in because, you know, I was having a conversation online as I tend to do sometimes, you know, you hate to engage with some of these people online because you know, they're not good faith actors, but you just can't help it at times.
And somebody was, you know, criticizing Trump and for his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Okay.
I just thought it was interesting because, you know, you can look at the facts about Donald Trump's relationship, Bill Clinton's relationship, Democrat Party in general's relationship versus, you know, what we know of on our side, meaning the conservative part.
And, you know, Donald Trump, he used his jet, I think, once.
It was not to go to his island.
It was one of those things where he had a jet and he offered it to Trump to take from an airport in New York to an airport in West Palm or vice versa.
And Trump took it.
And I guess Jeffrey was a member of his club in Mar-a-Lago.
And you say, OK, that's not good, but it's not indicative that he is I mean, you can't say guilt by association, necessarily.
Especially given the fact that after that, I guess, took place, you know, Trump was one of the people who kicked FC out of his club for perving on little girls.
That was a story that everybody knows, widely circulated amongst people who were paying attention, not necessarily amongst those who are willfully ignorant.
It also showed a track record that I think even, if I'm not mistaken, I believe Trump was one of the people who gave testimony or written statement against the character of Jeffrey Epstein in one of his trials, saying he was a bad dude.
But, you know, okay.
And now the big talking point is that Jeffrey Epstein's plane was, I guess, either used or purchased by the Trump campaign.
Now of course Jeffrey Epstein's dead, and I think it is master class trolling, if you will, for Trump to take and buy Jeffrey Epstein's plane so that the news media has to report that, you know, to talk about Jeffrey Epstein's plane because Trump's using it.
So I made a comment online, I'm like, You think that Trump using Epstein's plane is a newsworthy story, Denver Post or NBC Denver, whichever fake news organization here in Colorado it was, yet you don't think it's a newsworthy story to talk about the dozens of times Bill Clinton went to his island to go abuse little children and be blackmailed, or all the other celebrities and Democrats that were
Working with Epstein and being blackmailed by him, presumably?
No, that's not a story, but Trump buys a plane on the open market that happened to formerly belong to Jeffrey Epstein and that in turn means that, or uses a plane, and that in turn means that he is guilty of what?
Association with Epstein?
Okay, well that's a crime?
Okay, well what about all the people on your side who are going to his island?
No.

And of course, we're talking about the DNC from last night to today.
And all throughout the rest of the week, we have so many great things to look forward to.
You know, it is interesting, though, that Joe Biden gave his speech last night, and the person who introduced him was very interesting, if you ask me.
Who introduced Joe Biden last night?
I'm sure most of you were not watching the DNC.
It's probably better that way.
If I didn't have to, I probably wouldn't have myself.
And to be quite honest, a lot of the information I've taken from news reports online.
But one thing that did stand out to me last night, you know, we're talking about Epstein, right?
And, uh, what happened there.
Obviously, as I was saying, as we went into the break, you know, they're never going to talk about Epstein other than to frame Trump.
I mean, they even ran an ad at the, uh, DNC for Kamala where it actually shows Trump with Epstein, which is like, okay, you know, he stood next to him at a club once.
It's not like he got on his, uh, private jet.
a few dozen times and went to his island to go, you know, abuse children and be blackmailed like certain other former presidents did.
But allegedly.
However, I will say that they're going to keep framing things in ways because they have no, they have no other ability than to project onto you what they themselves are guilty of.
That's their tactic.
It's been their tactic.
It always will be their tactic.
And you say, well, why?
And it's because it works.
It absolutely works.
They have a propensity for, they have an adept ability to Create a projection that that will take what they themselves are doing and put it on their opponent and then sell that to the public and and it just works.
I mean, mostly it works because people aren't paying attention.
In my humble opinion.
If you watch the way people.
You know, pay attention to these things.
It's mostly through headlines and occasionally through the fake news.
Rarely will they go and actually seek out the information in detail to try to figure out if it's true or not.
I mean, that's how you can have things like Joe Biden, still to this day, pushing the very fine people hoax about how Trump and Charlottesville was saying, you know, something he never said about some of the people who were there.
Uh, that's how they can sell the propaganda about, you know, the Project 2025 stuff.
I mean, they want to put that on Trump saying he's going to do that day one, even though he's already said he's not.
So it's like, you can see a pattern emerging.
Of course, we all see it.
However, one thing I found interesting.
Was last night, the person who introduced Joe Biden, when he gave his farewell speech, you know, his, you know, I'm leaving and I'm not coming back, you know, his speech, it was his daughter, Ashley Biden.
Now I thought, man, where did I, where have I heard about Ashley Biden before?
Oh yeah, that's the lady who left her diary at a rehab facility in Palm Beach, Florida,
Where it was discovered by a couple of individuals and then sold to a media entity known as the Project Veritas at the time, where James O'Keefe was, and part of the diary itself was leaked online via Patrick Halley and his organization over there, which I think is called The National File, and in it we found
Through intrepid reporting and coverage that Ashley Biden wrote about an inappropriate relationship she had with her father.
She wrote in her diary, and I will try to quote, she wrote, hyper sexualized at a young age.
What is this due to?
Was I molested?
I think so.
I can remember specifics.
No, I can't remember specifics, but I do remember trauma.
I remember not liking the Woolzax.
I guess that's somebody's house that they lived here.
I remember somewhat being sexualized with Caroline.
I also Remember having sex with friends at a young age, showers with my dad, parentheses, probably not appropriate, end parentheses, end quote.
Okay, so that's from her own diary that she wrote while in rehab as an adult.
Mind you, this wasn't a diary written by a child.
This was a diary written by an adult.
And I think that's that's worth reporting it last night.
She was the one who introduced her father on the stage.
I mean, you want to really just it really is a cycle.
I wish I understood psychology better to explain to you how the mechanisms are at work in all of this.
But suffice it to say that they are disarming you by putting it right in front of your face.
Right?
They are trying to make it clear that they can do these things and get away with them.
I mean, you have a woman, Ashley Biden, and the reporting from Patrick Kelly and National File, the leaked parts of her diary where it's written in her own handwriting.
She talks about being hyper-sexualized at a young age.
She thinks she was molested.
She had a large amount of underage sex with friends and was showering with her dad inappropriately.
In her own words.
So, you just have to really step back and think, how did we get here?
And the point I'm making is obviously now, the talking point is amazing.
I had a conversation with somebody online.
Oh, very respectful, I'm sure you can imagine.
I said, look, I pointed this stuff out, and they said, well, he's not the candidate, so what are you even talking about?
I said, hmm, that's interesting.
So now the new talking point is going to be like, the new bar set by the Democratic Party is, well, Kamala Harris didn't sexually molest her children.
I mean, come on.
That's the bar they've set.
Which I mean, again, I mean, it's a good bar to set.
Do not molest your children.
That would be a very reasonable thing to have as the established norm.
But it got to a point where I'm like, you realize this, we know this is true.
We know he's a child molester, according to his own daughter.
This is her own words.
Not to mention that his son, according to what we found on the Hunter Biden laptop, allegedly was molesting his underage niece, which is a whole nother story about this family.
But I said, you know, you think it speaks a little bit to the character of the person they're telling us to vote for now for president.
That they were not only willing to allow to allow a pedophile molester like Joe Biden in office, but now they want us to vote for the person he picked to be his vice president.
I mean, I'm not a not an expert on much.
But, I would say if you could be an expert on something, it's, you know, judging the character of individuals based on, you know, who they roll with.
If I see, you know, a young man walking down the street and he's got, you know, a bunch of people around him and they're all, you know, waving guns around and flashing gang signs, I'm going to go ahead and assume that the young man who's with them is in the gang.
I'm not going to assume that he's going to be the next, you know, prolific brain surgeon.
Or Pope.
Okay?
I mean, it's like common sense.
You look at the company these people keep.
And it'd be one thing, I understand, right?
You can't say guilt by association always, right?
Because a great example is if you're a celebrity and you're at an event and somebody stands next to you and poses for a photo.
Oh hey, can I get a picture with you?
And you go okay.
You may not really know that person.
Maybe you know them casually.
Maybe you've seen them around town.
Maybe they're somebody who, you know, is a member at one of your clubs, let's say.
And they happen to be at your social events and they stand next to you for a couple minutes and say a few things at a cocktail party.
Obviously I'm talking about Trump and Epstein.
You can't necessarily make a correlation and say that person is, you know, Guilty by association there.
But, if you are chosen to be the Vice President on a ticket with a man who we know was engaging in these despicable and disgusting things, I mean, the stuff with his kids is bad enough.
The stuff with the treason's even worse.
Yeah, then there's a little guilt by association.
Actually, there's a lot of guilt by association in regard to that because you are a part of the cover-up.
You are part of the crime.
You are part of the entire thing.
And the most amazing thing is, you could have this world that we live in where they'll point to the picture of Trump next to Epstein and say, oh, he used his plane once, right?
As a reason to not trust Trump.
But then you go, okay, well, then can we find out who's on Epstein's list, client list of people he was blackmailing?
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
We can't do that.
No.
What are you, crazy conspiracy theorists?
It's like, wait, what?
But it's cognitive dissonance, right?
I mean, that's literally what it is.
It's almost a textbook definition.
These people's brains have been broken.
Unfortunately, for all of us living here in the United States in the year of our Lord 2024, we've come to an impasse, as they say.
But of course, Joe Biden doing this to his child is, you know, it is something else.
It is something else.
And his daughter getting up on stage like a typical Stockholm syndrome or something and just giving this glowingly loving, admiring speech about her father.
It's like, I mean, I understand that there's, I guess if you are a victim, you can forgive the abuser.
It's her choice.
She could forgive Joe Biden.
That's not for me to say that she can't, but To ignore it and to pretend like it never happened and then to get up there and talk about how great of a guy he is even though you're the one who's writing in your own diary about how he sexualized you at a young age with inappropriate showers and your molestation.
It's like, these people are insane.
And you know, their whole big campaign against Trump is, and JD Vance is, oh, they're weird.
It's like, okay, uh, wait, weird?
I'll tell you what's weird.
What's weird is what I just described.
What's weird is Kamala Harris's family and her stepdaughter, who's like some pro who knows what.
Liberal, trans, I don't even know.
I think like a he, she, they, whatever you call it.
What's weird are the left-wing Democrat Party's platform, is the left-wing Democrat Party platform obsession with grooming children into mutilating themselves and never having a future at procreation.
I mean, these are weird things.
They're not Necessarily just weird.
I would argue they're also weird and also evil.
But they are weird nonetheless.
But of course, again, we come back time and again to the tested and true art of projection.
They project onto you what they themselves are guilty of.
Every.
Single.
Time.
It never fails.
So we shouldn't be surprised at where we are today.

And I gotta be honest, you know, it shouldn't be surprising to any of us what's been happening at the DNC.
The lies, the projection, the deception, etc.
It's all very much in line with what we know about how the Democrat Party's been operated for a long time, right?
Up till this point.
I wish it wasn't this way.
Sometimes I do wake up and really wish there was a way we could reach across the aisle to some of these people.
But there are no, it doesn't seem as though there are any moderates left.
And the moderates were the ones who, you know, may have had certain proclivities toward, you know, liberal beliefs, but, you know, we're pretty moderate to conservative on certain issues that we could all agree on, like abortion, right?
We don't want abortions for People, we don't want murdering of children.
And even some people at some point in the Democrat Party used to say, you know, they used to say that abortion should be rare and only used as a last resort, right?
And even though I'm against abortion 100%, I could at least see finding a modicum of common ground with somebody who at least is able and willing to say that they don't want to promote abortion as a form of birth control.
As a very limited last resort option, perhaps to save the mother's life, even though for me I would say you do everything to save both lives.
You don't favor one over the other.
They're both equally important and viable.
But the thing is that that's not the case anymore.
I mean, these people come out there and they will say the quiet part that used to be quiet out loud.
And they'll say things like, we want, you know, abortion is health care.
What does that mean?
Abortion is health care?
I mean, you're saying murdering children is going to make you healthier?
Oh, then the truth comes out, right?
Because they don't say it's about health care.
They actually, what they mean to say and what they explain, when you dive deeper on it and you push them and you say, okay, well, what do you mean by that?
And they say, they'll make this argument that like, well, why should a young woman have to have a baby?
It'll ruin her life.
And I mean, well, I'll be like, explain how is it going to ruin her life?
And they'll say, well, she'll have to suffer and the baby and her will both be economically disadvantaged and they won't be able to make money and they won't be able to support themselves.
And you're like, oh, I see.
So because it's a financial inconvenience, you think murdering an innocent child is okay.
And they'll say, no, no, it's not that.
It's just, that's just one part of it.
It's her body.
It's her choice.
She wants to terminate the pregnancy, then she can do it.
Oh, so it's your choice when it's an unborn infant, baby, a human life.
It's your choice to murder that.
But if I want to go to the grocery store without a mask on, I don't have a choice in that one, do I?
Even though it is my body, right?
Oh, I want to work at this company, but I have to have a vaccine to do it?
I thought it was my body!
I thought it was my choice!
So of course, their hypocrisy always falls flat.
But, you know, beyond that...
I really do again wish there was there was a way to reach out across the aisle.
I'm tired of the powers that be putting us to war with one another, right?
And I know that in a lot of ways, they've done that intentionally.
And I know that they've forced The side that we're seeing right now in the Democrat Party, what the majority of that party has become, doesn't represent the majority of people who are in it.
That's the crazy part, right?
A lot of people are kind of like social Democrats who just go along with this stuff because they disagree on one point or another with the Republicans.
And a lot of times, To be quite honest, it's because of economic circumstance.
You know, like, somebody who is not making a lot of money wants the government to give them money, even though, I mean, if you go to some of these minority communities, Hispanic and black, you'll talk to people and, you know, there are a lot of very religious people there.
A lot of people who disagree with, you know, stances on abortion and, you know, other things like that, especially in the Hispanic community.
Yet they still vote Democrat because they have been economically incentivized to do it.
Now, that is a part of the problem.
I mean, that is a huge part of the problem.
And that's what we're trying to fight against here, people.
The fact of the matter is that it is impossible for me to say that I would want this, I want this divide to continue in this country.
The problem also is how can we, you know, how can you make a bridge to a party that has gone so far off the deep end?
And again, it's probably pushed us to be further set in our ways, which is, in my opinion, not a bad thing, but also, this party doesn't end well for anyone.
You know?
At least not for us.
I mean, it might... Actually, it won't end well for anyone, because here's what'll happen, in my pessimistic prediction I hope doesn't come true, but this is the trajectory we're on.
Republicans will continue to lose ground because we don't have MKUltra, Mockingbird Media on our side.
We don't have the intelligence community.
We don't have the government and its bureaucracies on our side.
We don't have the massive psychological warfare operations being run in our favor.
We will continue to lose in a war of attrition, bit by bit, little by little, over time.
The left will seem to win They will be told to believe that they are winning, when in reality, their party will continue to promote their own self-immolation.
I mean, if you think about it, with the LGBTQ stuff, you know, trancing kids, the homosexual stuff, all of that.
I mean, they're going to literally genocide and suicide themselves out of existence.
And what will be left?
What will be left is just a weak, feckless society of subjugated serfs serving a corporate class of overlords who will rain terror upon us using AI and other systems that they control and create using their vast amounts of wealth.
And I know you go, that's pretty dark.
Well, that's the trajectory we're headed on now, folks.
I'm not happy about it myself, to be quite honest.
But directionally, now I know, and look, you're going to say, well, there's the hope of the gospel and Jesus Christ, of course there is.
I'm saying, this is what's going to happen in the fallen world, on the trajectory we're on.
I know my hope's in heaven.
I know my treasure's built up there.
I know, and I hope you know that too, that there is hope everlasting.
There is life eternal.
There is more than that which is of this world.
What's of this world is temporal.
What's not of this world is eternal.
So I hope you understand that.
But I'm just saying, as a person who studies this every day, this is the direction we're heading.
So if you don't want that future, Uh, as I don't, for our children or our children's children, then I would highly suggest that we figure out a way to at least start attempting to fight back against it.
Because, man, sometimes you wake up and you look at all this stuff and you just think, I understand how Rome fell.
I understand how all this happened.
I understand a lot of stuff now.

A couple texts come in.
We had our good friend text in from the 763 and say, Pivoting to Kabbalah, she is the czar of human, drug, and gun trafficking at our border.
Where did the 87,000 trafficked children at the border go?
That's a good point.
Somebody from the 304 texted in and said, safe, legal, and rare.
Yeah, that used to be what Democrats said about abortion.
Now, even that I'm not a fan of, because I think abortion's wrong.
I think it's murder.
And I just truly believe that.
However, that's a far cry from, you know, abortion is healthcare.
I mean, that's insanity, folks.
And again, I've said this before, but it is the truest statement that you can say.
I mean, if I really hated these people, if I was this monster that they think I am, that they portray us all as, man, I would be applauding them.
I would be encouraging them.
I'd be, you know, I'd be buying banners and billboards supporting all of their policies.
I'd be voting blue no matter who.
Because in that scenario, I would be signing on to what they're doing, which is destroying themselves.
I would be saying, yes, I'm 100% in support of abortion for you, and your family, and your kids.
But that would be an evil, evil thing for me to do.
I cannot, in a good conscience, do that.
And I know all of you out there can as well.
But if we were really evil people, we would be saying, yeah, yeah, transition your children.
That's a great idea.
I mean, not mine, but go ahead and do yours.
Yeah.
Cut off your kids' genitals, you know, remove their uterus.
Slice them up.
I mean, that would be a really hateful thing for me to endorse or promote.
I can't do that in a good conscience, but they do it to themselves.
You know, I don't know how to even remotely connect with people whose politics go in this direction.
Although, like I said, I really do long for the days where we could at least agree on some things.
But those days are gone and it's by design.
It's all by design.
We have a few more texters.
Our good friend Henry just texted and said, It's sad, but as you and your listeners know, you can't compromise with the death cult and their death mobile who choose darkness over light.
It's a matter of the heart and only God can change that.
The best we can do is pray fervently for hearts and minds to be open to God's truth and God's love.
John 3, 19-21, and this is the judgment.
The light has come into the world, and people love the darkness rather than the light, because their works were evil.
For everyone who does wicked things hates the light, and does not come to light, lest his works should be exposed.
But whoever does what is true comes to light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.
Yeah.
Yeah, thank you, Henry.
I mean, like, I agree 100% A, this is evil, and you can't compromise with it.
But I guess my whole point is, you know, The trajectory we're heading on is going to be one of self-destruction as a nation.
And maybe that's a part of God's plan.
I resign myself to God's plan, yet I do fight for that which is good, and I rebuke evil in all of its forms, and I try to commit the Great Commission as it's prescribed in Matthew 28.
I try to do all the things that I know God has ordained for us to do, has given us the mission to do, and that's really Not, it's, it is certainly simple, but it is not easy, right?
It's fairly simple, but it definitely isn't easy.
And, you know, I think if we're going to have a great revival, if we're going to bring back this nation, and even have a hope, we got to have a way to reach the other side.
I mean, they have closed the door, right?
And maybe a lot of us on this side have closed the door to them as well, because of how crazy they are.
I mean, we all see it, we all know it, we all, I mean, how many of you out there listening, you know, raise your hand, right, if you've lost a family member to this, or two, or three, or four, or you don't talk to certain family members, or friends, you've completely excommunicated them, or they've excommunicated you, or, you know, you've both done it to each other.
I know my hand's up right now.
I have family members who, you know, I didn't talk to for years.
And it only, you know, through sad circumstances was I able to even reconnect with them.
But there are other people in my family I haven't talked to at all, I've been excommunicated from.
Because of politics, because of my religious beliefs.
Because I have not relented in my fervent belief in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and what we are taught through Scripture on how to live our lives.
And, you know, I know it's written that that is what happens to the believer, you know, That you may be separated from your family for your belief, but it still hurts.
And it also, I believe, is going to lead us toward a path of destruction, at least in this life, as a nation.
And it's going to make it that much more difficult for us to actually have a great revival, to bring people together.
Because they won't even listen.
They won't even hear you.
Either they're so hardwire programmed with the cognitive dissonance that they're incapable of understanding what you're saying to them, or they just don't listen at all.
They tune you out.
They shut you off.
And either way, it really is indicative of a direction that I don't want to go.
I'm doing my, maybe I've contributed to it.
I'll put my hand up there too.
You know, maybe I've contributed by not Trying to reach the other side.
Maybe I'm guilty of this.
But God help us if we don't figure this out.
Because that's the only thing that... God's intervention is the only thing that will save us at that point.
Of course, it is the only thing that will save us in the long run as well, so... That's why I always encourage people to repent and turn to Jesus, because that's the only way we really fix any of this stuff, but...
You know?
God gives us talent, skills, and ability.
We gotta start using them to reach the lost people.
Reach out to your family members who you don't talk to anymore.
Try to open that door back up.
I know it hurts.
I know it's hard.
We have to keep trying, though.
Even if they don't.

They say, regarding reaching across the aisle to bridge the gap, as a society we have to share something in common with all.
Some have wandered so far away from commonality that they cannot be reached.
And I think that's a true statement, and that's even biblical if you read it in the context of Matthew.
When Jesus gave his disciples the authority to drive out unclean spirits and to heal and to do great things in his name, and he sent them out, he gave them a set of instructions.
He said this, when you enter any town or village, find out who is worthy and stay there until you leave.
Greet a household when you enter it.
And if the household is worthy, let your peace be on it.
But if it is unworthy, let your peace return to you.
If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that house or town.
I assure you, it will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town.
And that's always been kind of my opinion on it, that you need to try to present these things to people in a way trying to make them aware of what the truth is, right?
The truth of the gospel.
And the truth of what's happening in this fallen world, I believe, is also important.
But at some point, you cannot spend all your days and all your time and all your effort doing it.
And like Jesus tells his disciples, you have to kick the dust off your sandals and leave.
And that's what I believe A lot of us have resigned ourselves to it.
We've kicked the dust off our sandals and we left.
And I'm not saying that that's a bad thing.
Again, that's a biblical principle there that we kind of got established through the gospel.
But I would say that it's worth another shot.
I don't know.
When you understand their tactic and strategy is to separate us, it's to separate us from one another.
So that then we are angry, sad, confused, malleable.
We have to at least try, folks.
We have to try.
I don't know.
Maybe I'm wrong.
We have more texters texting in.
They say, prophetically speaking, where is the great revival?
There definitely is great apostasy in the last days.
End times prophesied.
Absent the revival, we sure appear to be at the end of history.
Well, I mean, that's why we pray for a great revival.
I mean, as much as we embrace the end of days as a blessing and not a curse, because it will bring back Jesus and it will be a blessing for us as Christians, I think there's always a sense of self-preservation, I guess, that we have as a species to not want to be A part of destruction?
To have future generations have the blessing and honor of being with and loving God and raising families?
I mean, that's... I feel like that's inherently a part of what it means to live, is to want that better for those who come after you.
And what do we want to leave our children's children if this is not the end of days?
We want to leave them with a great Christian nation that they can live freely in and worship God and raise families to love God.
I mean, that's...
That's the ultimate goal.
So, I don't know.

They don't want to, you know, you know, they want to have God and it was part of everything.

I'm going to play this because look guys, I have a great sermon for you and I have something that you guys really will enjoy.
Let's go ahead and jump over to it.
I'm just fast forwarding here to the beginning.
heading back to school and so let's pray for our college students uh brandon will be finishing up his last semester how god's going to give them our heading back kids a tough tough a good i'm just fast forwarding here to the college of the beginning colossians chapter one here we are those of you who've been with us from the beginning you understand we're going through this book the book of colossians and our theme this year has been uh has been focused We want to be focused on Christ.
And we want to have a focused faith.
And it's been more and more difficult as we go through the year with all the political things and all the craziness that's in our world today, to keep a laser focus on the Lord Jesus Christ.
But it's the only hope is to have a focus on Jesus Christ.
Now, what Paul's going to do in this church is with Colossae is he's going to give them a laser focus on the Lord Jesus Christ.
And we're going to see in this passage of scripture in just a moment what Paul's talking about.
But I'm preaching this morning on the subject, Jesus, the one and only.
Jesus, the one and only.
Time magazine will select each year a person of the year.
And it used to be actually a relevant thing.
They would they had a criteria of somebody that was made the biggest influence or impact or affected the events of a certain year and that person became Time Magazine's person of the year and then Time Magazine went woke and became a joke and anything that goes woke is a joke and so they did but but A while back, they kind of compiled, trying to save some face, I think, they compiled a list.
100 most significant figures in human history.
100 most significant figures.
And at the top of their list was Jesus.
And then in this list was Muhammad, Napoleon, Shakespeare, Hitler, George Washington, and Elvis Presley.
But Jesus was at the top of the list.
And, you know, I got to thinking about Time Magazine is no different than what the false teachers were doing in Colossae.
And what false teachers are doing today, and what many Christians are doing today.
And that is, they're not trying to deny Jesus.
They're simply attempting to dethrone Him.
And I want to tell you that Jesus Christ is not demanding prominence.
He doesn't just want to be number one on your list.
He is the one and only.
He is the one and only.
He doesn't demand prominence.
He demands preeminence.
Jesus Christ is God.
Now, these Gnostics believed that there were many emanations that came from God that would be ways through which you could get to know God.
And they thought there were ways to be enlightened, and the more you were enlightened, the more you could know God.
And I want to just tell you right now, there are many people in this world that believe that through enlightenment, and through intelligence, and through all these kind of learning, that you can come to greater, higher understanding of God.
Listen to me very carefully.
You do not come to God head first.
You come to God heart first.
Many people in our world today say, well, if you show me, I'll believe.
God said, no.
Through faith, you'll understand.
He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
Mormonism, they teach that Jesus Christ was the offspring of a physical relationship between God and Mary that produced two boys, Jesus and Lucifer.
Well, let me tell you, that is the furthest thing from the truth.
The Jesus of the Jehovah Witnesses is no more than Michael the Archangel.
In Islam, they'll tell you that Jesus Christ was a revered prophet and a great teacher.
And what's the problem with all of these religions today?
And all of these groups?
And all of these isms?
I'll tell you their problem is that they don't mind giving Jesus a prominent place.
But when you demand that He is preeminent, that's where we have a problem.
Jesus Christ is not just a way, He's not just a truth, and He's not just a life.
He is the way, He is the life, and He is the truth, and no man comes to the Father but by Him.
You say, well that's pretty narrow.
Exactly.
It's called the narrow way.
You know, we don't like that when it comes to Jesus, but we want our doctor to be narrow.
You go to your doctor tomorrow morning and you've got some kind of ailment and some kind of disease, and you say, Doctor, what should I do about it?
Oh, just do whatever you want.
Do whatever feels comfortable to you.
But what medicine should I take?
Just whatever one you want.
Maybe if a pill's too big to swallow, get a smaller one.
If you like the gel caps, get a gel cap.
If you want a nose spray, just use anything.
Anything will work.
Listen, that's exactly what we're doing in religion today.
Let me tell you, when I get on an airplane, I want my pilot to be narrow-minded.
I don't want him just landing on any runway, at any speed, in any town.
I want him to go to that runway, at that town, where that tower said to land.
Do I have a witness today?
Amen!
You know, we don't mind our doctors being narrow-minded, and our air traffic control being narrow-minded, and the pilot being narrow-minded, but we just don't want to get too narrow about Jesus.
I'm going to tell you something right now.
He is the one and the only.
And if you're going to stay on target, you're going to have to understand the preeminence of Jesus Christ in your own life.
Paul refuted all of this with Islam and Mormonism and Jehovah Witness and all of that.
Paul refuted all of this teaching about a prominent good man.
He refuted all of it in one paragraph.
And this paragraph that Paul writes is probably the most concentrated doctrine of Jesus Christ than any paragraph in the Bible.
When you read this paragraph, you are going to see this amazing Concentrated doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Let's look at verse 13.
Speaking of the Father who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, in whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
"...who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.
For by Him were all things created that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions or principalities or powers.
All things were created by Him and for Him.
And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist." And he is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have the preeminence.
This is Paul with a laser focus on Jesus Christ, the one and only.
And Paul said, if you're going to have an understanding of the preeminence of Christ, then there's some things about Jesus Christ that you need to understand that give Him preeminence and make us bow to the preeminent nature of Jesus Christ.
And what are those things?
And this is interesting.
Paul starts off, first of all, with the fact that Jesus Christ is the Savior.
Now, this is a little different than what Paul did when he was battling the philosophers in Athens.
When Paul was in Athens, Paul started with the unknown God as the Creator God, and he brought them to the resurrection of Jesus Christ as God.
But Paul doesn't do that with the Church of Colossae.
Paul begins with the Church of Colossae that Jesus Christ is preeminent because He's the Savior.
And these people had been saved and they were being pulled away by false teachers.
And Paul was reminding this Church of Colossae, listen to me.
Before you start following after these false teachers, you don't believe Dr. So-and-so and some smooth-tongued teacher over here.
You're not just following after some great mega teacher on YouTube or some great ministry thing over here.
We're not following those people.
We're following Christ and He has a right for preeminence in your life because He is the Savior.
Let me tell you something, Jesus has right to preeminence in your life if you've been saved.
The fact that He is Jesus Christ, the Savior, gives Him right to be preeminent in your life.
Now, why does Paul start off with Jesus being the Savior?
He starts off with understanding the preeminence of Christ and Him being Savior, and that's because man has a great problem, and man's greatest problem is sin.
We live in a day and age today where the only sin is calling sin, sin.
If a man stands up and calls somebody sin, go talk to a neighbor sometime and start telling them the gospel and start off with all have sinned and tell them that they're a sinner and see how people react to that.
People don't like the fact, well, wait a minute, why are you calling me a sinner?
I mean, I'm not a sinner.
I mean, I'm pretty good.
I cannot tell you the multitudes of people I've talked to through the years, given the gospel to them, and everybody will tell me, well I'm not that bad.
Everyone thinks, every man likes to declare his own goodness, don't we?
We all think we're pretty good.
But I want to tell you something, you're a downright sinner.
And I'm glad that Jesus came to deal with the problem of sin.
The angel said to his parent, he said, Thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins.
Jesus didn't come in this world so that you and I could have a better life.
He didn't come in this world so that we could have a heaven as our home.
He came to deal with our greatest problem, and our problem is sin.
Listen to me.
We have called sin everything in this world but sin.
We've called it an addiction, we've called it a mistake, we've called it an error.
We have so dumbed down sin.
I saw something the other day on social media that was an advertisement that said that an overactive sexual desire is not a problem with sin, it's a problem with ADHD.
Could you imagine the Lord coming into the Garden of Eden and getting Adam and Eve together and say, listen, now the reason why you did that was because you weren't concentrating.
Here's some Adderall.
Pay attention.
You know, let me tell you something.
Men think we can fix our problems in any other way.
You take a man to a psychologist and let me tell you what you've got.
Take a man to a psychologist and all you're gonna have is a well-adjusted sinner.
Take a man to a doctor and all you're gonna have is a A healthy sinner.
Take a man to a financier, and all you're gonna have is a wealthy sinner.
Take a man to a church, let him walk an aisle, let him sign a card, let him shake the pastor's hand, let him join that church, and all you're gonna have is a religious sinner.
But you bring a man to Christ in repentance and faith, and let a man come to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and I'll tell you what you get.
You get a new creation in Christ, a man redeemed and forgiven, and a new creature that is no longer an old sinner.
He's now a saint in Jesus Christ.
He is Savior.
Now let me tell you some things about what makes him Savior.
First of all he says that he has rescued us.
Notice the word delivered in verse 13.
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness.
That word delivered It's a wonderful word.
It is a word, really, that means to rescue.
It comes from the Greek word, methistemiai.
And what that means is to remove and to plant.
In other words, it's the same word that Jesus said, if you had the faith of a mustard seed, you could say to that mountain, be removed, be plucked up and put over there.
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13, verse 2, that if I had faith that could remove mountains, if I had faith that could, methistemiai, mountains, that could pick them up and move them over, then I would have great faith.
Now listen, that's what the Bible says that Jesus did.
He rescued us.
He went into the power of darkness and He removed us from that.
He rescued us from that.
You know what the Lord's favorite room is in this church?
It's not this one.
The Lord's favorite room in this church is the lost and found.
Ever since man fell in the Garden of Eden, God has been on a search and rescue mission.
The Son of Man came to seek and to save that which is lost.
There is something about salvation that we have been rescued.
We have been plucked up and removed.
What have we been plucked up from?
We have been removed from the power of darkness.
Now when I read that word, power, that phrase, power of darkness, let me tell you where my mind goes.
Immediately back to Gethsemane.
Here comes the Lord Jesus on his face being pressed.
Pressed to the point of breaking the capillaries in the skin that would produce such stress in his body that those little capillaries broke that mingled blood with his sweat.
He was under the great pressure to drink the cup Of the wrath of God, the judgment of God, our sin.
He who was holy and harmless and separate from sinners.
He who knew no sin was going to be made sin for us.
And here comes Judas Iscariot with all of his army with their swords and staves and they're coming into that garden to take this one who has been literally pressed in the olive press of the wrath of God.
There he is under this great pressure as he's going to be made sin for us as he's yielding to the will of the Father.
Jesus stands and here comes this army and he says, Whom seek ye?
And they say, We're looking for Jesus of Nazareth.
Let me tell you something.
In one word, he could have summoned angels from heaven to destroy them.
In one word, he could have spoken and smitten them all.
In fact, he did speak when he said, I am he.
They all fell over backwards.
It wasn't that he was powerless, but let me tell you what Jesus said.
Jesus said in Luke chapter 22, in verse number 53, Jesus said, Hey, when I was with you daily in the temple, you didn't raise your hand against me, but now you come out here.
And here's what he said.
This is your hour and the power of darkness.
This is your hour and the power of darkness.
And Jesus, the light of God, engulfed with darkness in that hour.
He allowed the armies to take him in their arrest.
He allowed Judas to plant the betrayal kiss.
He allowed them to drag him over to Annas.
He was then drugged to Caiaphas.
He was then taken back to Pilate.
And then taken to Herod.
And then from Herod, drugged back to Pilate.
And all through the night and into the early hours of the morning, Jesus was drugged from place to place as they mocked Him and they witnessed against Him.
And then they mangled Him.
They stripped him naked and crowned him with thorns and plowed it into his brow.
And then they hung him up on a whipping post and they scourged him and plowed furrows in his back to where you could see the inwards hanging out of his body.
Jesus literally mangled what a darkness came over the earth.
And then they took that precious one of glory and nailed him to the cross and took him up on bloody Calvary where he was raised between heaven and hell.
And between earth and heaven, and there Jesus hung, and there was such great darkness, and the power of darkness so strong, the sun refused to shine.
Darkness plunged over the face of this earth.
In that darkness, Jesus cried out, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani.
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Never been a more dark hour on this planet than the hour when God was torn from God.
Then they took his lifeless body and they put him in a rock-hewn tomb.
In the darkness of that tomb and in the darkness of death, Jesus laid for three days.
Darkness had triumphed.
The power of darkness had brought the very Son of God into its grips.
And what did the world do?
The world went on its way in darkness.
The soldiers guarded the tomb.
Pilate laid in his bed, wrestling with his conscience.
Herod and Annas and Caiaphas went on their way back to their positions of power and prestige.
And just it seemed as though nothing had happened.
The world went on its course in its darkness.
But then it happened.
The earth shook.
And the breath of God filled those lungs, and Jesus rose up from the dead, mighty and triumphant.
As that tomb opened up, the Bible says, the sun, S-U-N, of righteousness dawned in a new and eternal day.
And the light broke through in a dark world that death and sin had been conquered by the Lord Jesus Christ.
He had gone into the realm of darkness and rescued us.
I think about an old farmer who had a pond on his property and he was always trying to get some fish in there established, but every time he would introduce some new fish and he'd stock that pond, there was an old nasty catfish that lived in the darkness of that pond that would come up with its old gaping mouth and swallow up the minnows.
He could never get anything established in that pond.
He went to the fishery one day and was talking to a man about it.
The guy said, well, if you try to get rid of the catfish, he said, I've done everything I can.
I've put chicken livers down there with hooks in them.
I've tried to catch that thing.
I've had him on the line.
I've wrestled him, but that old thing has become my nemesis.
He has snapped the line.
He has mocked me for all these years.
And everything I put in there, that old catfish, scarred and leathered, comes out and eats up all my fish.
What can I do?
The man said, well, I'll tell you what, you need to buy this minnow right here.
He looked at that minnow and he said, what's that minnow gonna do?
He said, buy one of these minnows and put him in with the other minnows and restock the pond.
You'll see what'll happen.
So he did.
He put that minnow in and sure enough he saw the waters ripple and he saw the mouth of that old catfish as it came from the depths and it just began to suck up all his new minnows he'd put in there.
He went back to the fisher and he said, that fish ate all my minnows!
Even that new one that you bought me.
He said, well good.
He said, why?
He said, you'll see in a few days.
The minnow that he purchased was a kind of fish that had in its nature that it wanted to be eaten by another fish because that's how it thrived.
Once you ate, once a fish ate that little minnow, he got in the belly of that fish and he ate his way out.
And he would make a meal of the fish that made him a meal.
And I will tell you a few days later that farmer went out to his pond and he saw minnows swimming everywhere and he saw the old carcass of that catfish upside down floating in the middle of that pond with a gaping hole in it.
Let me tell you what happened.
For all those years that catfish had swallowed minnows one after another but one day he swallowed the wrong minnow.
And I want to tell you, the old catfish of death had swum through the murky waters of this dark kingdom, and it swallowed men in its old nasty grip.
And death has taken men into its belly, which men have never come out alive.
But one day, death swallowed the wrong man, and that man went down in the darkness of death.
But I want to tell you, Up from the grave he arose with a mighty triumph over his foes, and Jesus brought out those who he rescued with him.
And thank God we have been delivered from the power of darkness.
Not only did He deliver us from darkness and rescue us from darkness, but I want to see number two.
He redeemed us.
Notice what the Bible says in verse 14.
In whom we have redemption through His blood.
In whom we have redemption through His blood.
Redemption in the Bible simply means to liberate by a payment.
To redeem means to purchase back, to buy back, to redeem it.
Jesus redeemed us with a payment.
I want you to think about the blood.

...that flowed through the Old Testament.
Every sacrifice in the Old Testament was a shadow of Jesus Christ.
But I want to tell you, the rivers of blood that flowed in the Old Testament could never wash away a man's sin.
All they did was they took care of the interest payment on man's debt.
Every year on the Day of Atonement, when that blood was applied, all it was was God satisfying the interest on man's debt.
But I want to tell you, there came a man one day, and by that blood of that man, the debt was paid.
Listen to me.
The shadow of a key cannot set a prisoner free.
The shadow of a meal cannot feed a hungry man.
And the shadow of the sacrifice cannot save a lost soul.
But by the shedding of blood, there is remission of sin.
And when Jesus shed His red, rich, royal blood at Calvary, He bought us back and He redeemed us.
I have been redeemed.
Redeemed, redeemed, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.
Redeemed how I love to proclaim it.
I thought about a little boy who spent all of his time for a few weeks making a little sailboat.
He had a little stream behind his house and he wanted to sail a boat on that stream and he made a boat.
He carved and worked and sanded and he got that thing out just perfect.
Polished it all up and painted it white with red stripes.
Put a little sailboat and put a little sail on it.
Tied that sail together.
That little boy took a little paintbrush and signed his name on the back of the boat.
He was so proud of that boat.
It was glistening white and red.
He took it out to the stream, tied a little string around the hull of that boat, put it in the water and was just having a time bouncing it down that river.
He got a little further down that stream and something happened.
There was a current that began to pick up, take that little boat, began to pull the boat away.
And before that boy knew it, the string broke in his hand and that boat went down the river in a current.
He ran as hard as he could after it, but he couldn't find it.
And it went down out of sight.
A few days went by and he was walking through the little main street with his mom, window shopping, and he looked into a little shop and up on the shelf he saw a little sailboat that looked a lot like his.
And he tugged on his mom's skirt and said, Mama, can I go in there and see that boat?
Mom said, Sure.
He went in there and he said to the shopkeeper, Can I see that boat?
It looks like my boat.
And he said, Well, it can't be your boat, son.
It's mine.
It's in my shop.
He said, can I see it?
And the shopkeeper brought it down and put it in.
I said, now you be careful with this boat.
And that boy picked it up and he examined it and he said, it is mine!
This is my boat!
I painted this boat!
I put my name right on the back of it!
This is my boat!
And the man said, son, if you want that boat, you're going to pay me $5.
That boat came to me.
Somebody brought it into my shop and bought it.
And I bought it and I'm selling it.
And if you want to buy it, you owe me five bucks.
That little boy hurriedly ran home, opened up his Biggie Bank, broke it open, counted all of his pennies and nickels and dimes, and he only had $2.50.
Went to his dad and he said, Dad, what can I do?
I gotta earn some money.
What can I do?
Dad began to give him all kinds of chores.
He'd never seen a boy work with more fervency than he'd ever in his life.
That little kid was sweating, chopping wood, stacking stuff, cleaning the garage, doing everything his dad said to do.
Finally, he got that 250 from his dad, put it with his 250.
He ran down to the shopkeeper, his pockets bulging with what felt like a million dollars.
He put it on the counter and he said, Sir, I want to buy that boat.
The man took the money, put it in the register, and handed that boy his little boat.
Man, you've never seen a more proud kid than holding that boat.
And the shopkeeper heard that boy when he ran out saying to his boat, Now you're mine twice.
Now you're mine twice.
Listen to me.
The Lord made us in His image, and the Lord wanted to have fellowship with us, and He loved us and wanted us, but I want to tell you, the current of sin came, and sin has separated us from God, and man is under the bondage of sin and death, and we've been in Satan's shop up on the shelf, and I want to tell you, Jesus came, He worked the works that His Father sent Him to work, and He paid the price that no one else could pay, and Jesus paid the debt that you could not pay, and He purchased you back.
You have been redeemed.
Thank God for that.
Don't you ever think that your salvation was cheap?
Just because it didn't cost you anything and you didn't have to earn it, it didn't mean that it wasn't purchased in blood.
Your salvation was purchased in the precious blood of Christ.
He is the Savior because He rescued us, He redeemed us, but I want you to see here very quickly, He forgave us.
The Bible says in verse number 14, in whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
You know, we read that so quickly.
We don't understand the magnitude of being forgiven.
The word forgiveness means to send away, to cancel the debt.
Hey, listen to me.
If you cancel the debt, it is forgiven.
It is gone.
You don't owe it.
And I want to tell you, there's no guilt with that.
When the Lord Jesus Christ cancelled your debt, He cancelled all the guilt with it.
Aren't you glad today that God doesn't hold your old sins over your head?
You see, we're in a new kingdom now.
We've been plucked up from the power of darkness and put into the kingdom of His dear Son.
We have a new king, and because of our new king, in this kingdom we have no debt.
We have been forgiven and we are free.
We have been set free, totally guiltless.
That's why the Bible says that we've been justified.
That means we've just as if I'd never sinned.
God sees me as though I am Christ.
I am accepted in Him and I am free.
Let me tell you something about the old liar, the devil.
You know the devil's a liar.
How many of you know that the devil's a liar today?
But I'll tell you something about the devil.
The devil does tell the truth.
Good liars do tell the truth.
I'll tell you what the devil does.
The devil knows that he can't ever get God to buy into his lie.
So I'll tell you what the devil does.
The devil, the Bible calls him the accuser of the brethren.
The Bible teaches that Satan will go before God and tell God the truth about you.
The devil goes to God and says, God, did you see what old Dean Miller did?
Did you see how he talked to his wife?
Did you see what he did?
Did you see how he said he told that lie?
Do you see how he gossiped to that person?
Do you see what he did?
And Satan will tell God the truth about me.
But Satan will come to me and tell me a lie about God.
He'll tell me that God can't forgive what I've done.
He'll tell me that God wants nothing more to do with me because of what I've done.
He'll hold my sin over my head.
He'll shame me and guilt me.
Satan is the only creature on this earth that'll trip you and then blame you for limping.
Satan will tell you the truth to God about you, but he will tell a lie about God to you, and I want you to tell the devil something about him.
When he comes to tell a lie to you, I want you to tell him the truth.
I want you to remind him that his head was crushed at Calvary, and that his power over us was broken that day, and he has no power over us, and I want you to remind him of this.
I want you to remind Him that when He comes to tell you about your guilt and your shame, I want you to tell Him about the greatness of God's grace, and how wonderful God's grace is, that where your sin abounded, God's grace did much more abound.
And where you were guilty, God has more grace, and He has forgiven you, and He's justified you, and you are forgiven.
Years ago, I would go into my prayer closet and I would begin to pray.
And I would tell you, things would come to my mind.
Blasphemous thoughts about God.
Horrible things.
Things I would think, where did that come from?
And then I began to think of how evil and, man, why did I think that about God?
And I want to tell you, I used to wrestle.
He would bring to my mind, I would have thoughts in my mind of things that I had done in my past.
And I would think, there's no way God's going to hear me.
Why would God ever listen to me?
And I came across the truth that God had forgiven me and canceled my debt and sent away my guilt.
And I will tell you what happened.
When I would go back in my prayer closet and those thoughts would come in my mind, I would begin to say, Lord, I want to thank you right now that you can't see what I'm thinking.
Now God, I know you can see all things, but the Bible says that you refuse to impute iniquity to those that you've saved.
That you have forgiven our sins.
Lord, I'm thinking of sins right now that I did in my past that I already came and I confessed them and they're under the blood.
And Lord, I just want to thank you right now for the greatness of your grace and the power of your salvation.
And the foreverness of your forgiveness, and I want to glorify you.
I want to tell you something.
The more I turned Satan's accusation to me into praise and adoration of God, I'll tell you, he's less prone to start accusing you.

I'm your host, Craig James.
We're going to go right back to Pastor Dean Miller's sermon, Jesus the One and Only.
Thank God that we're forgiven today.
Now listen to me, you didn't deserve it, you didn't earn it, you didn't do a thing in the world to get it, except to come to Jesus Christ and believe.
And I want to tell you right now, Jesus Christ deserves preeminence in your life because He is the Savior.
If you're saved today, you have no right to live for anything else but Jesus Christ.
Now I'll say this very quickly, and I'm done with this point, but Paul points out here that Jesus has preeminence because He's Creator.
Now I want you to listen to this carefully because it ties right hand in hand.
I want you to see verse 15.
Who is the image of the invisible God?
Now watch this.
The firstborn of every creature.
For by Him were all things created that are in heaven and that are in earth.
Now, many cults today take that verse and they stumble over it and they say, see here, Jesus is the firstborn of every creature, which means He's created.
He's a created being, that He is not really God.
He was created by God like everybody else.
Now listen, if you don't understand your Bible and you don't understand how to interpret that scripture, you're going to be tripped up by false believers who are going to tell you They're going to tell you that Jesus Christ is really not God, that He is just an emanation from God, that He was a good teacher or a good man, or He's part of God's plan, but that He's not God.
You hear me very carefully.
He is God.
The word firstborn here is simply saying this, that Jesus was before creation.
In the Bible, the word firstborn is not a position of time.
It is a word of place or status.
In other words, it could read this way, that He is the firstborn of creation.
In other words, that He is prior to creation.
He is not created by God, He is God.
You see, Solomon was not David's firstborn in time.
He was one of David's many sons, but he was called the firstborn of David because he was the most prominent and he was the most... he had the priority.
He had the birthright.
Ephraim was not the firstborn of Joseph.
Ephraim was the secondborn.
Manasseh was the firstborn, but Ephraim was called the firstborn because to Ephraim was given the birthright.
He had the higher priority and status than Manasseh's.
Israel is called the firstborn of God as a nation.
Israel was not the first nation on this earth.
Israel didn't come to be until God called Abram and then the birth of Isaac and Jacob.
Listen, they are not the first nation, but they are the firstborn of priority.
God has chosen them.
The Bible, the Torah, the Old Testament law is called the firstborn of the books.
It wasn't the first book ever written, but it was the firstborn because it was here before every other book.
Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.
So don't misunderstand that when the Bible calls Jesus the firstborn creature of creation, listen, he's not saying, the Bible's not saying that Jesus was a created being, he's saying that he was before creation, he was here before all creation, and he is the most important thing of all things in heaven and earth.
The word image makes this very clear.
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature?
Firstborn is simply saying that He is the priority, He is preeminent, He has the status.
Why?
Because He is the image of God.
And that word image means the exact representation, the exact revelation of God.
That's why Hebrews... Don't sleep on me for a minute.
That's why Hebrews chapter 1 and verse 3 says about Jesus that He is the express image of His person.
Now, there's no way that God, who is a Spirit, eternal and infinite and glorious, who is in and through and transcendent of all of His creation.
God is in it and through it and beyond it.
God is a Spirit.
There's no way that we could ever relate to a God who is Spirit like that.
We cannot.
So what God did was God came in human flesh, and Jesus Christ came as the express image, the exact representation, the representative and revelation of God.
No wonder Philip said in John 14, Jesus, just show us the Father and we will believe.
And Jesus said, Philip, when you've seen me, you've seen the Father.
I am the image.
I am the icon, is the word.
I am the icon.
I am the very representation of God.
You say, Pastor, what is God like?
He's like Jesus.
No wonder Jesus could say of Himself in John 1, verse 18, No man hath seen God at any time.
The only begotten Son He has declared Him.
Jesus has made God known.
If you want to know who God is, look to Jesus.
Jesus was all man, but He was all God.
Jesus came in the human form.
Listen, the all man of Jesus slept in the back of Peter's boat.
But the All-God of Jesus got up and calmed the waves and could speak to the wind.
The All-God of Jesus got weary and tired.
The All-Man of Jesus got weary and tired.
But the All-God of Jesus could walk by a coffin and touch it and the dead would get up.
The All-Man of Jesus got hungry and thirsty.
But the All-God of Jesus could take a little boy's lunch of five loaves and two fishes and feed 5,000 people with 12 baskets left over.
The All-Man of Jesus could suffer and brim He is God.
Nature can only reveal that there is a God, but it cannot express the essence of God.
and rose in victory.
He is ever God and all of God, all in all.
He is God.
Nature can only reveal that there is a God, but it cannot express the essence of God.
So God sent his son as the express image to tell us who God is.
You see, he is the creator.
Why?
Because He was before all things.
The Bible says here in verse number 16, for by Him were all things created.
That word for simply means because.
Because He is the firstborn of every creature, because by Him were all things created.
He is the firstborn of creation because He created it.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
For all things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.
He created.
Now, I know people today scoff at creation.
This, this, this, what Paul was teaching here was a death blow to the Gnostics.
Because the Gnostics taught that God was not linked to matter.
That all matter was evil.
Even the human body was evil.
And you could live in any kind of sin and immorality you wanted because your body was already evil, so let's let the body do.
Matter is evil, doesn't matter.
We know God in our intellects and so forth.
But this was a death blow to the Gnostics because God was not just unlinked from matter.
He became matter.
That he created it.
I know all the muckety mucks in the higher education and the halls of academia tell us there's no way we were created.
We all know the intelligent thing is we all came from slime.
That we somehow were just all a bunch of cells that came out of the primordial stews of evolution and here we all are.
That there was a great big bang one day and that big bang created all order.
I wish I'd have known that explosions could make order when I was a kid.
Cleaning my room would have been a lot more fun.
If I could have just taken all the matter in my room and put it into one big pile and rolled a couple of M-80s in there and all my shirts were hanging, pants were folded, undies were in the right drawers, and all of my socks were all color-corded and in the right place, listen, that would have been a lot better cleaning my room than having to go in there and pick one up at a time.

Nobody, nobody in their right mind believes evolution.
If evolution were true, why do moms still have two hands?
Amen, Mamas?
Listen, if evolution were true, we would have never lost our tail.
We all could use a tail.
Moms could be driving down the road, hands at ten and two, still putting your makeup on.
Kids are in the back seat, messing around, knock it off.
He won't get off my side.
Stop it!
Never take your hands off the wheel.
Everybody could use a tail.
Men, you all know you could use a tail.
When your wife asks you to carry in the groceries, I don't know why we men have to all get it in one trip.
But we're loading groceries on our arms.
Watch out for the bread!
Too late.
We're getting to the door and somebody closes the door and we're out there just banging on the door.
Come on!
Listen, if we had a tail, we're right in!
What a foolish thing to think!
I mean, if we were all out here walking up on a bluff and we came across an old arrowhead, and we said, man, look at this.
What is this thing?
How did this get here?
And some educated guy in our group would say, oh, well, through the processes of time and through millions of years, rocks banging into each other and the works of sand and wind and erosion carved this out.
And we'd say, are you kidding me?
Somebody carved this and made it pointy and sharp and aerodynamic and put a notch in it to tie it to a stick so it could be shot.
It was designed and it had a designer.
Well, listen to me, you were designed and you have a designer and his name is Jesus.
He made you.
And I'll say this lastly, and listen, this is so important.
He is the Creator, not only because He was before it and He made it, but listen, He holds it together.
By Him, all things consist.
It means all things are held together by Jesus Christ.
He is the glue of the galaxies.
He is the belt of the atom.
A man one time was taking a guided tour through a Atomic Laboratory and the guide, the tour guide, was explaining that all the matter in the universe was just a combination of electrical particles, electrified particles that were all moving around and atoms and so forth.
And he was trying to explain the electron and the neutron and all the nucleus and all that kind of stuff.
And this man, it was blowing his mind that even matter was mainly space.
And he said to this guy, how does it all hold together?
What keeps it all together?
And the guy had no good explanation for that.
But if you and I had been in that group, we could all have been able to say, Jesus, He holds it all together.
Years ago, man did an unthinkable thing.
We untied the atom.
We untied what Jesus had tied.
And look at the devastation.
I think this is what Peter had in mind when he said at the end of the world that the elements will melt with fervent heat.
There's going to come a day when there's going to be a total nuclear meltdown when Jesus unties His creation.
But even then, He'll firmly be in control.
See, He is a God, the very God.
Listen to me.
Here's what we're talking about.
He is the very God who made the sun and the moon and the stars.
He holds all the galaxies in place.
He made all the atoms that hold everything in place.
He holds everything together by Him, all things consist.
Can you imagine if Jesus just took a day's vacation and the sun somehow drifted a little closer to the earth?
We would burn.
Or if He wasn't paying attention for a moment and the earth just moved a little bit away from the earth, we would freeze.
Or if the earth just moved a little bit on its axis, And we lost our four seasons, and we lost all of our ability to grow, and all of that.
Listen, I mean, just little tiny things in the natural order of things.
One little change in the house of cards brings everything down.
But thank God Jesus is holding it all together.
