But man, do we have some stories we're going to cover here today.
I'll tell you what, you know, the gaslighting is getting outlandish with the fake news media, but more overly with the big tech censors and what they are doing.
They're trying to rewrite history, of course, As they always do, but even more so now they're trying to rewrite history in real time, right?
And it's getting to a point of absurdity.
And they're getting away with it because I don't know why they're getting away with it, really, at this point.
I've just kind of realized, you know, not just recently, but I'm realizing more every day now, I should say, that they are getting away with this thought control propaganda campaign they're getting away with it with no pushback whatsoever.
It seems, I mean, Google has been fixing their search engine results.
They are, uh, you know, changing the algorithm and, and you got to understand from my perspective, right?
I've seen the writing on the wall for several years now.
Uh, You know, it started really, I guess, in earnest with Alex Jones.
When they were able to de-person Alex Jones, to remove him from the internet, essentially, as far as the major globalist controlled internet systems were concerned, that was seemingly the beginning, right?
It was a shift from the Internet being what it once was to what it is now.
And what the Internet really once was was the Wild West, if you will, of information access.
There was the wealth of the world's information at your fingertips, and it was being distributed in a veritably unregulated way.
Now it is 100% controlled, and algorithmically it is augmented in a way that, you know, everything you see is being strategically shown for a reason to promote an agenda.
And we know what this agenda is.
I mean, you look at the people who work at these companies and what their ideological standings are, and it couldn't be more clear that they have waged ideological all-out war on the...
The majority of Americans who don't believe in their woke, gay, you know, LGBTQ satanic agenda.
And they want to distribute that amongst us and into our lives.
So the example best now showing that, one of them, there's several actually, would be this story that came out over the weekend where Google has now fixed their search results so that, you know, Google has this feature that's basically a smart technology, if you will, that will autofill.
So if I start a sentence on a Google search bar that says, you know, the assassination of, it will know that you're most likely, or the attempted assassination of, it'll know you're most likely referring to the July 13th incident that just took place.
And it will populate at the top of the search, uh, choices or options, Trump, the attempted assassination of Trump.
And what's really incredible now is that they've removed that feature.
Now you go, well, that's not a big deal, but it is because a lot of people depend on that because we've been, you know, conditioned to that autofill to help them, you know, find the things that they're wanting to see.
So they've removed that.
And it's not just Google, okay?
We have Meta, which is Facebook, their AI system is now basically saying that, I think it was Meta, saying that the assassination attempt never even happened, right?
There's no real proof to even show that it occurred.
And you watch this, In conjunction with what we saw over the weekend as well with this Satanic Olympic Opening Ceremony.
And you really start, I mean for me...
I'm really starting to be concerned for the direction this world's headed.
I mean, I've always been concerned, but it's getting darker and darker.
And here's the thing, right?
We know they're going to lie.
We know they're going to cheat.
We know they're going to try to steal the next election.
But it's about more than the election at this point for me, personally.
It's about truth and information and freedom.
It's not just about the election, folks.
I wish it were.
Because if it was just about election every four years, it wouldn't be as bad as what it truly is.
And what it truly is, is a form of enslavement, mental and physical subjugation that they want you to be under, so that you don't have the ability to freely think, or even worse than that, that you think What they program you to think and believe that that is a free thought that you had on your own.
Right?
That that's definitely the more dangerous scenario.
And it's what's unfolding right before our eyes.
You know, I look around and I see what these people are doing.
And it's been predicted in so many different ways, but I'm going to play this clip.
So this is from a video game, apparently, from 20 years ago, and this is talking about artificial intelligence.
I want you to listen to this.
Well, yeah, I am.
You can make pictures of cute anime girls and enjoy it while it lasts, right?
What do you mean?
Did you really think that civilians would be granted unrestricted access to such powerful military weapons forever?
Military weapons?
Are you implying that this technology was created by the government?
Of course it was.
This AI technology has been used by the intelligence agencies to warp the public's perception of reality for years.
All in the name of national security, of course.
But why would they suddenly make the tech public and let everyone start using it?
Why would we, indeed, Ryan?
What?
Who?
What in the hell are you?
Your question is irrelevant.
By creating a new problem, we can cultivate a desired reaction to it in order to manufacture consent for our preferred solutions.
In short, it's justification for a war.
A war?
On whom or what?
A war on misinformation.
By harming the public with these AI weapons, everyone becomes a potential enemy combatant.
Then we have justification for unprecedented security measures.
It all comes down to confusion and identity, right?
Identity?
Identity.
Alright, so, look.
is pandora's box pretty soon the internet will be mired in total illusion perfect ai speech audio and video synthesis will drown out reality then ai box will flood social media all right
so look i want to make it clear that what was described in that little snippet from a video game called metal gear solid from 20 years ago which i never played but i wish i had now because i mean talk about getting the truth that This is what it's all about.
I mean, what they described there, I'm sorry if the audio was not good, but hopefully it was good enough for you to pick up on the important parts, which is that the whole purpose of this AI, right, is to create this Distrust with what you perceive.
And if they can do that, if they can sow that seed of doubt, then it won't matter if we show you the truth because it can be easily explained away as an augmentation of AI or some sort of piece of misinformation.
And that's the point.

Unfortunately, uh, as I was saying before, we have Google manipulating its search engines, but that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Uh, we had the gas lighting on full display over, uh, you know, the weekend from Friday going into the weekend where the, you know, And one of the big stories was Kamal Harris is not the Borders are.
Really?
Well, it's funny because I have clips of CNN and articles from Axios saying exactly the opposite of that, yet they're the progenitors now of the story saying that she is not, in fact, the Borders are.
But it's okay because they can just, in real time nearly, rewrite history and convince you that the truth of yesterday is now the fiction of today.
And their systems are very effective.
I'm not going to lie.
It's almost disturbing how effective they are.
This is going to be a very big, contentious viewpoint, but we played you a clip from a particular video game that's 20 plus years old that almost predicted exactly the existence we're falling headfirst into, which is this AI dystopia where The battle against misinformation is the point.
It's not, you know, a byproduct.
It is the desired result.
They want you to not believe your lying eyes, right?
And that's where this all is leading, right?
Because now it's going to say, well, you can't believe, you know, Biden's not the, or Kamala Harris isn't the borders are.
It's like, Well, but we have articles of you guys saying that from, you know, four years ago.
Well, you know, we, we got it wrong.
So just don't worry about it.
Um, to the next thing will be the deep fakes, right?
Which we're already seeing a little bit of, but it's going to get worse where they're going to have deep fakes that are going to be used to essentially put us in a, in a state of, uh, complete disillusionment where even if we're shown, The truth.
It can be and will be explained away as being some sort of, you know, fabrication of technology.
And that's, I mean, you have to understand, folks, that is exactly where they want us.
They want us in this disillusioned state of confusion that then allows them to come in as the authority of truth and tell us what's real and what's not real.
I mean, it's exactly what happened during COVID.
I mean, if you'll recall, There was a point during COVID where they tried to tell us that our immune systems weren't working.
Now they'll come out and fact check and say that that never happened, but we all lived through it.
And we all know that there were interview after interview with Fauci and all of his minions on national television on ABC, NBC, CBS, etc.
saying, well, you know, your immune system is not very good anymore, so take your shot and take another booster and take 12 more boosters because we need to, you know, fix your immune system.
It doesn't work.
It's a virus, you know.
This is a very bad pandemic.
And I mean, God help us, because so many people believe that, that now you have probably half the country or more that have shot themselves up with this mRNA gene editing technology, and they're the same people who go on Google and believe what they read there and, you know, watch CNN and think, oh boy, I'm really getting informed.
It's the illusion of freedom.
And as soon as you step out of their control matrix and try to challenge them on any one of their many, you know, scams, schemes, or lies, well, what happens?
You become the target.
And Edward Snowden talks about this.
He went to this Bitcoin conference over the weekend, which Trump attended, and it was an interesting thing.
But he said this about what Big Data is going to allow the government to do in a short period of time and I want you to listen to this.
You're liberal, doesn't matter whether you're conservative.
If you stick out, if you stand out, you're going to become non-normative, or rather anomalous.
What I am afraid is likely to happen quite quickly, all of the transaction information that they can get, well, the Bitcoin blockchain is available for anyone for free at any time, right?
And how do you train these models?
You need You need training data.
You need data sets.
So they're going to pull everything they can.
They're going to feed it through these things, and they're going to try to teach them originally.
I think it's going to be easiest thing.
What does a normal transaction look like?
You know, what do 95% look like?
And then they're just going to go, what is anomalous?
What is strange?
What is unusual?
What doesn't quite fit?
And then they're going to go from that's a 5% probability down to 3% probability, then try to get it smaller and smaller and smaller, until they can just basically have people that are getting reports spit out on their desk, little, you know, chat messages to their terminal, basically.
They're saying, this just happened, this just happened, this just happened.
Do you want to continue?
And that banking officer is going to get a click OK to continue on your life.
On your ability to transact, on your ability to trade, it's not just going to be Bitcoin.
It's going to be Visa.
It's going to be MasterCard.
It's going to be everywhere.
It's going to be PayPal, right?
So whether you're subscribing to an OnlyFans account or something like that, which, you know, is a very common thing, but something that a lot of people aren't going to admit to, they're not going to be proud of, right?
That's going to start making these institutions go, oh, do we want to continue our business association with these people?
Is there a brand risk?
I think we really need to think about how do we secure the transactions on the Bitcoin network moving forward.
I have said this for 10 years.
I have been ignored for 10 years.
Well, we're running out of runway.
And again, right now, every time you're on this network, and I love this network, I've used it many times, you are going to be adding to the data set.
The space for everyone else to have any kind of private interaction diminishes.
So that's, I mean, that's the end goal, folks.
What he just described is a part of the dystopic future we are living in right now.
And ultimately, the point being, what they have in store for us Folks is nothing short of a total, uh, what do they call it?
They write about this in their white papers.
It's, it's called, uh, full spectrum dominance, right?
They need full spectrum dominance over every aspect of our lives to control us in a way that is, you know, congruent with their ends for national security.
And that's how they justify everything they do is it's under the guise of, well, this is about security and, you know, national security is about securing the nation.
When in reality, it's about securing their control over the nation, and that's the truth that they...
Don't want you to know.
That's the stuff.
That's the quiet part.
They don't say out loud right now.
At some point, they'll be able to just say it and there's nothing you'll be able to do about it.
And they say it to a degree.
If you listen and read between the lines, you know, when Joe Biden comes out and says something like, you know, well, what do you need a gun for?
You don't have a nuclear bomb or an F-16 like the U.S.
government.
It really should be a pause for concern there.
When the head of the executive branch is saying that your right is so insignificant because the government has XYZ weapons that it can use against you, presumably.
So that's the world they're slowly, you know, pushing us toward.
And I'll tell you this right now, folks, that We are facing not only the threat of this demonic force, because I believe that AI can be used for bettering humanity to a large degree.
There are things it can do that could really benefit us in a great way.
I believe that the people who have developed it and the people who are in control of it are, in some cases, demonically possessed individuals who have evil, you know, spirit within them that are working these things against the betterment of humanity and toward the end goal of total control and domination of humanity.
And if you don't believe me, I mean, just look at the many examples of how AI is being used to rewrite history in ways that are, that is like straight out of some dystopic sci-fi novel.
The most recent example being the Trump assassination never happening, right?
Oh, that never happened.
What are you talking about?
There's no proof that ever happened, says the AI to the unassuming masses who trust it because they have slowly but surely over a long incremental period been whittled away to their ability to critically think's been whittled down to, you know, that of a goldfish.
Oh, well, the AI will tell me what to think.
I mean, we've been whittled down by this with Google.
It all started with Google and these search engines and these big, you know, data sets that we've been able to just tap right into whenever we want.
It's like when your teacher used to tell you in school, well, if you use a calculator, you'll never actually know how to do the math.
And you were like, yeah, but I just want to use a calculator because it's easier.
I don't want to have to think.
I don't want to have to know how to do it.
It's like when you go to the store and you buy a steak, you know, 90% of people in this country probably will never know anything about, you know, harvesting, you know, killing and butchering animals for food that they will eat.
I mean, you ask some of these kids where... I saw the one clip.
It's a famous viral clip.
Where the guy's like, we need to get rid of all the farms.
The farms are the problem.
The farmers are the problem.
Why climate change is such a problem.
And then the interviewer asked, well, where are you going to get your food then?
He says, what do you mean?
The grocery store.
I shouldn't laugh because that's how retarded people are.
A lot of these kids are in a large, to a large degree, but That's the future we're headed toward.
You know, and that's what they want us.
That's where they want us.
Why do you think Bill Gates is buying up all the farmland?
How much farmland does he own here in Colorado?
And in other states across the nation?
How much farmland here does China own?
Why are they buying it all up?
Why are they trying to, you know, automate all these processes?
Why are they trying to use AI to get rid of... Because they think we're irrelevant.
As Yuval Noah Harari puts it, the right-hand man to Klaus Schwab, who's the head of the World Economic Forum, we're all useless eaters who are going to be irrelevant in a matter of a couple decades.
And if you think about it, that should tell you everything you need to know.

You know you got Elon Musk coming out and saying Christianity has become toothless.
Well, yeah, he's right to a degree.

We're talking a bit about this demonic opening ceremony sequence, and it was full of all the woke propaganda you're expecting, but then you're not really expecting them to just go ahead and show you their demonic nature in its truest form by, you know, reenacting in a mocking and disrespectful and demonic way the Last Supper.
And even inside of that re-imagining, as they like to say, that's their phrase.
Oh, we re-imagined it.
It's like, okay, yeah.
You mean you've tried to destroy it with your evil, but their plans won't succeed.
However, I want to just give you an idea of what it was.
You know, you had all kinds of satanic imagery.
You had the invocation of paganistic ritualism.
You had an actual man flashing his genitalia at children who were there.
On national television, by the way.
I mean, I don't know why I'm laughing, because it's evil.
It's you have to laugh or else I mean if I don't laugh I will get very angry and that's where I'm at right now.
So these people are doing this and I mean I talked to some people over the weekend and God bless them.
I don't think I think some people might have went right over their head.
Because they were saying how nice the ceremony was and I was like, thinking to myself, well, did you see the part where they were mocking Jesus Christ and flashing their genitalia on national television?
I mean, did you catch that part?
Because I'm not impressed.
And look, I didn't watch it.
I don't care about the Olympics to be quite honest.
It doesn't do anything for me.
I just have seen what's been posted online after the fact.
So I'm sure maybe there was some part of the ceremony that was, you know, oh it's cool and it's nice and it's like kind of cool.
But the invocation of the demonic stuff is really evil.
However, I want to play a clip.
And if you guys don't know, there was a show called Full House, right?
And one of the actresses, Candace Cameron Burke, She is, uh, was one of the main characters on that, um, TV show and she's a famous actress, et cetera.
She came out now and this is these words I found so profound, um, that I had to share them because this was her.
She has family members who are Olympic gold medalists.
She has, you know, a family who are very heavily tied to the Olympics.
And this was her reaction to the opening ceremony.
I want to play it for all of you out there.
Incredible and wonderful event that's going to take place over the next two weeks.
And see the opening ceremonies completely blaspheme and mock the Christian faith with their interpretation of the Last Supper was disgusting.
And it made me so sad.
And someone said, you shouldn't be sad, you should be mad about it.
And I'm like, trust me, it makes me mad.
But I'm more sad because I'm sad for souls.
I want my heart, I pray for my heart to break over what breaks God's heart.
And I just think about all the people that have rejected the gospel of Jesus Christ or don't know the gospel of Jesus Christ.
And in the Bible, in Galatians, it says, God is not mocked.
For whatever a person sows, he will also reap, because the one who sows to his flesh will reap destruction from the flesh.
But the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
So, what do we do with this?
I want to continue, believers, with what Paul is saying here.
He continues and says, Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don't give up.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us work for the good of all, especially for those who belong to the household of faith.
So this is my encouragement to you.
Don't get tired of doing good.
Keep sharing the gospel.
And it's not just for the people that, like, openly mock God.
There's so many people, there's Christians out there that say, well, I'm a Christian, it didn't really bother me.
Those people need to hear the gospel too.
It's the ones that are lukewarm about it, that may think like, ah, I don't want to ruffle any feathers, live and let live, let people do what they want, I'm just gonna stay in my corner and be quiet about it.
I just, you know, maybe I'm afraid of confrontation.
Like, it's not the time, man.
Let me read to you in Revelation 3.16.
I mean, this is a letter of prophecy, but he says, um, I know your works that you are neither hot nor cold.
I wish that you were cold or hot.
So because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I'm gonna vomit you out of my mouth.
Don't be lukewarm.
Don't be lukewarm.
Here's the thing.
He goes on to say, as many as I love, I rebuke and I discipline.
Because God doesn't want to keep us where we're at.
He wants to continually refine us.
He says, so be zealous and repent.
See, I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come to him and eat with him.
And he is with me.
Man, God wants your heart so badly God loves you so much.
I encourage you to read the Bible.
I encourage you to see the lengths that God goes through to the amount of patience that He has waiting for each and every one of us to just call on His name.

Don't be lukewarm.
You know, lukewarm's an interesting aspect in Revelation, the reference that she makes there.
You know, it's actually a reference, I found this out through an amazing sermon I heard one time, that is, my understanding is that lukewarm's like a reference to water, right?
And back in those days, you know, certain places had well water, right?
Or they would have some sort of system for getting water.
And the water that you wanted, you wanted it either to be hot or cold, right?
That's what we want, right?
Imagine water in those days, you didn't have the best de-sanit- or the sanitation and everything wasn't the best.
And, you know, there was a way to tell if water was good and that was, you know, by its temperature, right?
And there were cities that had really cold springs that You'd get this very cold, refreshing water that you knew was clean, probably from some mountain creek or something, or some deep, deep spring, and that was considered good water.
And then, you know, conversely, you would have these, I think they were like kind of geothermal water, where it was like hot as it would come out, and you kind of knew that was safe to a degree for drinking because of the temperature.
Um, and it could be heated up, you know, to be safe, but I don't think they were doing it for those reasons, but it was a part of what they found, I guess.
But the water you didn't want to drink was the lukewarm water.
The water that had been maybe sitting on the surface was surface water from a warm, lukewarm creek, right?
Or a lukewarm water source.
Why?
Because that was the water that was most likely contaminated.
Now, did they know anything about contamination on stuff?
To a degree, I guess they did, but not really.
But they knew that was the water they didn't want to drink.
And we as Christians, as Candice pointed out, have to be either hot or cold.
Because, I mean, if you think about it in the analogy that's being made there, You're either on fire for Jesus, or even if you're not, you can be unaware, but then we can bring you to Jesus, right?
If you're not aware.
But if you're in between, that's the worst place to be.

I'm your host, Craig James.
I want to be clear, you know, when we look at these events taking place, they don't take place in a vacuum.
I mean, this is all happening inside of this fallen world, which is an all-encompassing thing for this temporal world in which we exist.
We had our good friend Henry chime in and say, living out 1984 in real time, for those with spiritual discernment, it's not hard to see and understand how even the elect will be deceived.
And that's the problem, right?
I mean, that's what I noticed.
You know, people I respect who I think are truly working and doing God's work were, you know, incapable of really noticing the demonic agenda in just something as simple as the Olympics opening ceremony.
And I believe God will give us discernment in those things when we need it, but, you know, I'm just really, really disappointed in A lot of Christians out there, not particularly anybody that I'm thinking of, but just in general, that we allow this to happen.
And it really is, it's really a sign of the times that we've been put into such a place of complacency that this is all, not only is it, has it been, you know, normalized, but it's now a part of the programming, right?
Is we are going to use these demonic entities and forces to undermine your I mean, there were all kinds of signs leading up to this.
I mean, the Eiffel Tower had the Olympic rings on it, which they did to perfectly align with a full moon that occurred on July 22nd, another pagan ritualistic move.
The choice of Paris and the precise timing of that celestial event underscore the significance This is from a source I follow on the issue.
They say the inversion of sacred symbols during the ceremonies, such as the Last Supper, represents a deliberate occult ritual aimed at harnessing and redirecting spiritual energies.
This is an act of desperation by them trying to subvert established religious norms and gain control over the spiritual awakening that's currently happening.
So the more we confront them and expose it, the more souls we can possibly save.
And that's why it's important to cover these things as they happen in real time.
Everything else, to a degree, is just a distraction from that, the spiritual battle that's taking place.
So, that's what I think is important, but, Let's take a second here.
Let's take a second here.
We're going to listen to a sermon.
I don't want to play this sermon.

It's a sermon on Paul and his prayer list.
It's a powerful one that I think we should all listen to.
Let's go ahead and tune in to this.

Open your Bibles to Colossians chapter 1.
When we come to the Gospel and you come to the ministry of the Apostle Paul, one thing that you're going to find is that Paul was a man focused, and he was a man on target for Jesus Christ.
Paul said, this one thing I do.
I forget those things that are behind and I press toward the mark.
Paul always spoke in terms of athletic competition.
He talked about, Paul talked about boxing.
He talked about wrestling.
He talked about fencing.
Paul talked about running and he talked about these things that we have a goal and a focus and if you're gonna be successful You have to be focused on your goal and you'd be focused on your target.
Amen?
Now, I don't know about you, but the 930 crowd seems a little bit more lively.
I don't know if maybe you guys slept in a little bit too much.
I don't know if you maybe had you didn't have your coffee.
How many of you had your coffee already today?
Okay, so let's go.
Tell your face that you're saved.
And, um, and, and, and everybody kind of put on, uh, put on in your heart that you're ready to hear from the Lord today.
And, and don't look at me like you're about to go to sleep.
This is, this, this is just, since we've been, I've been in this room now for the last 30 minutes while we've been singing and all the things, and I've just, you, you seem like you just rolled out of bed.
You slept in a little bit today.
So we got to wake up.
Maybe I should get you up here and sing Father Abraham like we do in the children's church.
Okay, we'll march around the walls of Jericho or something.
But so everybody let's hear from the Lord today.
But Paul was a man focused.
On the mission that God gave him.
And Paul was a man.
And by the way, let me just tell you, Christian, if you're gonna live the Christian life, and you're gonna live it victoriously and conquering, and you're gonna do what God wants you to do, it's gonna require some boldness.
It's gonna require focus.
It's gonna require courage.
This world hates our Jesus.
I want to go on record today and just say, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
It is the power of God unto salvation.
And Paul, in his ministry, Paul was was beaten.
He was stoned to death at Lystra and got back up and went into Lystra and preached the gospel.
Paul was shipwrecked.
Paul got bit by a serpent, a venomous snake, shook it off in the fire.
Listen, Paul was a man's man.
And he was a man who served the Lord.
When Paul came to a town, he didn't look for the nicest hotel to check into.
Paul always went and checked out the jail, because he knew that's where he was going to end up after he was preaching.
He was going to be checking into the jail.
And Paul was a man who, through all of the difficulties, through all of the struggles, through all of the persecutions, through all of the rejection, he stayed laser focused on one thing, and that was the will of God.
Let me ask you a question today.
If you could meet Jesus face-to-face, and you could talk with Him one-on-one, face-to-face.
If He came and sat in this chair, and one-by-one, we could come and talk to Him.
If you could ask Him any question, what would you ask Him?
I want you to think about that.
What question would you ask Him?
What would you ask Jesus today?
If you could sit with Him, talk to Him face-to-face, what would you ask Him?
Well, the Apostle Paul did that.
When he was on the road to Damascus, remember, Jesus showed up, said, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?
Why are you doing this against me?
Paul was a great tyrant.
He was an emissary of havoc on the church.
And Jesus arrested him on the road to Damascus and said, Paul, what are you doing?
Why are you persecuting me?
Paul asked Jesus that day two questions, face to face, when he saw him, he asked him two questions.
He said, Lord, who are you?
And what do you want me to do?

We're going to go right back to Pastor Dean Miller's sermon about Paul from Colossians.
Listen to this.
And I believe these are the questions that every Christian ought to ask today.
Lord, who are you?
And what do you have me to do?
You say, what do you mean?
Ask him who we are.
We know who he is.
Let me just tell you something.
You haven't begun to scratch the surface of the depths and the riches and the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Paul the Apostle had to drop his quill at one point and say, Oh, the depths and the riches of God.
Who can know the mind of the Lord?
The last thing Peter, the Apostle, who knew Jesus personally, he had walked with Jesus for three and a half years.
He sat at meals with Jesus.
He walked on the water with Jesus.
Peter was a man, a fisherman, tough, that Jesus saved him and changed his life.
Peter knew Jesus intimately, and yet, at the very end of his life, the last thing Peter ever pinned was this, but grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I want to ask you a question.
How well do you know Jesus today compared to when you got saved?
Are you growing in the knowledge of Christ?
Paul had this one thing.
By the way, these two questions that Paul asked, Lord, who are you and what will you have me to do?
They became the target and the focus of his life.
Paul pursued in his life to know Him.
That's why Paul said in the book of Philippians, toward the end of his life, that I may know Him.
That I may know Him and the fellowship of His sufferings, the power of His resurrection, being made conformable unto His death, that I would know Christ.
Do you really know Him?
Do you know Him today?
Jesus said, My sheep know My voice.
Jesus said, Come unto Me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, I'll give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me.
Let me tell you something, I don't believe that you can call yourself a true disciple of Jesus Christ if you're following a religion or you're following a church, but you're not following Him.
Christianity is not a set of rules and it's not... Christianity is not a religion.
Christianity is Christ!
It is Christ alone.
He is Christianity.
We follow Him.
We preach Christ.
We know Christ.
He is the way.
He is the truth.
He is the life.
No man comes to the Father but by Him.
Christianity is Jesus.
Amen!
Listen, you're not here today to follow me.
We're not just following some YouTube sensation preacher on YouTube or the television.
And we're not just following after the next mega church success.
We're following Christ.
We're Christ followers.
And to follow Christ, you have to know Him.
My sheep hear my voice, Jesus said, and they follow me.
We are following Christ.
How well do you know Him?
Do you know Him?
Listen, do you know Him?
And do you know what He wants you to do?
This was the focus of Paul's life.
You say, how do you know that?
Because today we're going to study, in the book of Colossians, we're going to study how Paul prayed.
The title of our message today is Paul's Prayer List, and I will tell you, his prayer list is a lot different than most churches' prayer lists.
We're not just going to overview this, we're going to get into Paul's prayer over the next few weeks, and we're going to look at how Paul prayed, because we need to go deeper into prayer in our own lives.
We need some people who know how to get a hold of God and pray.
The fundamental of the Christian life is prayer.
It is spending time.
If you're going to know Christ, you have to spend time with Him.
Get into His Word and get on your knees in prayer and pray.
And so Paul prayed.
And we're going to see what's interesting about Paul's prayer is, number one, it's a prayer from prison.
Remember, Paul's in a Roman prison and he prayed.
And I want to tell you this, as I read this prayer, I fell under conviction because I don't think this is how I would have prayed if I were in prison.

Okay, so let's go back to our sermon we're hearing from Pastor Dean Miller of Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
His sermon titled, Paul's Prayer List from the Book of Colossians.
Let's go back to him.
If I were in prison, I'd have been praying, Oh God, get me out of here.
God, reverse the charges.
Oh God, deliver me.
Shake the jail again and escape me from this place.
God, take care of me.
That guy over there looks like he wants to eat me.
God, help me!
That's how I would have been praying if I were in jail.
How would you pray if you were in prison?
Paul never prayed for himself.
In fact, Paul didn't pray for any physical need and any material need.
Most of our church bulletins and church prayer lists and churches today are nothing but material and physical needs that people have.
And there's nothing wrong with that.
However, if we pray only for the physical and the material, but we never pray for the spiritual, what we're really admitting is we don't really understand our greatest need.
My greatest need is not physical.
My greatest need is not material.
My greatest need is spiritual.
Your greatest need is spiritual.
You can have a healthy body and go to hell.
You can have everything this world offers and go to hell.
Listen, what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?
What has that man profited?
A man's greatest need.
What good is it?
What good is it to have all the world's material goods and to have all the health and strength that you can have in a physical body and yet have a soul that doesn't know God and has no purpose and is on its way to hell?
So Paul knew that our spiritual need was the most important need.
Amen.
So Paul begins to pray.
Now remember this before we read our text today.
Paul was writing to this church of Colossae that was started by a man named Epaphras who got saved under Paul's ministry in Ephesus.
Epaphras of Ephesus was actually from Colossae.
So Epaphus got saved, went back to his home, and won people to Christ.
Another man who got saved under Paul's ministry, a man named Philemon, opened his house and let them start a church in his home.
So now Philemon and Epaphus are working, and Archippus is the pastor, and he's preaching, and Epaphus is serving, and Epaphus leaves Colossae and goes to Rome to visit Paul in prison.
Is everybody keeping up with this real quick?
Paul goes, he goes to Paul in prison and he sits down with Paul and he says, Paul, we got some problems in Colossae.
He said, we've got this young group of Christians and we don't know what to do with them.
They're all brand new saved.
They've all just come to faith in Christ.
We're trying to teach them to follow Christ.
But we've got these people called the Gnostics that are coming in and the Gnostics are bringing false doctrine.
And the word Gnostic means to know.
These are people who were in this quest for knowledge and understanding and further spiritual enlightenment.
And they wanted to get to higher attainments of spirituality, but they wanted to do it through man's wisdom and understanding.
It was an intellectual thing.
And by the way, can I just tell you something right now?
I pray for some men in our world today.
There are people that maybe many of you will know, but there are people Such as Jordan Peterson and Elon Musk.
And I pray for these men because here's the thing.
They're all scrambling for ideas and they're all scrambling for understanding.
But here's the problem.
They're all trying to come to God head first.
But you don't come to God head first, you come to God heart first.
The Bible says through faith we understand.
Man in his arrogance says, you show me and I'll believe.
God says, you believe and I'll show you.
He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He's a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
Men that try to find God through their intellect are actually intellectually dishonest, because you cannot find God just intellectually.
Listen to me, you have to find God humbly and through repentance and faith.
I'll tell you why men don't want to find God.
Because when you find God, you find you.
And you see that He is holy and you're a sinner and that you need to be saved.
We're still building our towers of Babels and trying to climb to God on our own self-efforts.
And listen to me, we don't climb to Him.
God came to us!
And Jesus came and was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life and died on the cross of Calvary, bearing my sins so that I may know Him.
And by the way, He saved me that I may know Him and that I may do His will.
So Paul's praying to that end.
Paul's praying for these people who are having their minds affected by these Gnostics and false teachers who are trying to bring in all kinds of other things, and they're saying to them, well, Jesus is a good starting point, but you can go beyond that.
Let me tell you something, friend.
You can't ever go beyond Jesus.
In Him are hid all the treasures of wisdom is in Jesus.
So Paul's going to answer that.
So let's look at our text this morning.
Chapter 1 verse 9.
For this cause we also.
Now what cause?
Let's talk about this because Paul's saying I'm going to pray for you for this cause.
What's the cause?
Verse 6.
Which is come unto you as it is in all the world.
He's talking about the gospel.
And bring it forth fruit as it does also in you since the day ye heard of it.
Now watch this.
And you knew the grace of God in truth.
Paul said the gospel came to you, you heard it, you received it, you knew the grace of God in truth, so you got saved.
And now for that cause, for the cause of the grace of God in truth, for the cause of salvation, for this cause, because you're saved, Paul said, for this cause, since the day we heard of it, do not cease to pray for you.
And to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
That you might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
Strengthened with all might according to His glorious power.
Unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.
"...giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints with light, who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son, in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins." Now, Paul stops praying and starts preaching all in the same sentence.
Paul has these long sentences, and he went from praying to preaching.
And by the way, every preacher can take note of that.
We should all go from praying to preaching.
Paul was praying for these people and he prayed for them that they might be filled with the knowledge of his will.
So here's what Paul was praying.
Now watch this.
Paul was praying for these people in their minds.
The Gnostics were after their minds.
False doctrine was after their minds.
And by the way, Paul is praying for their minds because he knows this is Satan's M.O.
Listen to me carefully today.
Satan is a liar.
In fact, everybody say that out loud with me just so I know you're awake.
Ready?
Satan is a liar.
Okay, say that one more time.
Ready?
Satan is a liar.
Alright, Satan is a liar.
I hope we all know that.

Let me tell you something.
He lies so well that you don't know he's lying.
The greatest lies are the lies closest to the truth.
The best lie that you could ever tell somebody is one that is so close to the truth, they don't know it's a lie.
Counterfeiters don't print monopoly money.
Counterfeiters print money that's close to the real thing.
So Satan, when he lies, he lies closest to the truth.
Satan, when he lies, because he's the biggest liar, it means he tells the biggest lies.
And the biggest lies that a man can tell are lies about God.
Satan lies about God.
Satan lied to Eve about God.
Did God say, you cannot eat of every tree of the garden?
Well, actually, no.
He didn't say that.
He said quite the opposite.
God said, you can eat of every tree of the garden.
But one.
See, Satan tried to twist the words of God and said that God said you couldn't eat of every tree.
No, God said you can eat of every tree, but not this tree.
And then God said, in the day you eat thereof, you're going to surely die.
And Satan said, thou shalt not surely die.
Listen to me.
He told his greatest lies about God.
And why does he do that?
Because Satan knows, listen very carefully, Satan would rather get you to think wrongly than to behave wrongly.
Because if you can think wrongly, if he can get you to think wrongly, then you will behave wrongly.
As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.
Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.
Whatever you think is what you'll become.
And this is why Paul said, in 2 Corinthians chapter 11 and verse 3, one of my favorite verses in the Bible, 2 Corinthians chapter 11 and verse number 3, Paul said this.
Paul said to the church of Corinth, but I fear.
Now right when Paul says that, I sit up and take notice.
Why?
Because Paul wasn't afraid of anything.
Do you remember that guy?
I told you about him a minute ago.
He got stoned, not Colorado stoned.
He got stoned at Lystra with rocks to the point of death.
And Paul shook those rocks off and stood up, beaten and battered and bloodied and bruised and walked right back into that city and preached the gospel to them.
Paul went into the jail and began to sing and shook the jail with the power of God and was released in Acts 16.
The Apostle Paul stood before King Agrippa, the accused standing before the king.
And before they left that room, it was Agrippa saying, you've almost persuaded me to be a Christian.
Paul went and stood before Felix and made Felix tremble.
Paul wasn't afraid of anything.
Paul got bit by a venomous snake on an island of barbarians.
People think the Bible's boring.
Man, I love the Bible.
Paul's gathering some sticks, put them in the fire.
This venomous beast, the Bible calls it, sticks into his arm.
Can you see Paul standing?
He's got a snake hanging off of his arm.
All the barbarians are looking at him like, ooh, he's gonna die.
They all said it.
They said, this man's a murderer.
The sea didn't claim him.
Now he's gonna come on land and a snake's gonna bite him.
He's gonna die.
This man's a murderer and God's after him.
And Paul looks at that venomous snake and shakes it off in the fire.
And they were all watching and Paul didn't swell up and he didn't die.
And they said, what's the matter with you, man?
Are you a Superman?
They thought he was a God.
And he goes, no, no, time out.
Let me tell you something.
I was a murderer, but I got arrested by Jesus Christ and he changed me and saved me and he preached the gospel to him.
Listen, Paul wasn't afraid of Agrippa.
He wasn't afraid of Felix.
He wasn't afraid of that venomous snake.
He wasn't afraid of much.
So when Paul says, I fear, I take note.
He said, I fear.
2 Corinthians 11.3, but I fear lest by any means, he'll use anything, by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Let me say it one more time, and listen to it.
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that's in Christ.
Listen to me, Satan is after your mind.
He's after your mind.
And that's why Paul said, by the way, that's why we're living in an age of deception, and this world is so confused, and people have no answers of what to do.
And I'll tell you why.
Because this world, in all of its wisdom, in all of its knowledge, in all of its learning, And all of its understanding is more confused today than it's ever been.
We don't know what bathroom to use.
We don't know who is who.
We don't know what a woman is.
We don't know anything today.
Why?
Because men are walking in their own understanding.
And men's minds have been corrupted by Satan's lies.
Are you listening to me?
Just swallow for a second.
It's okay.
Some of you think, man, pastor, should you really say all that?
Yes.
I'm not afraid to preach the truth.
Paul said here to them, he said, listen, Satan is after your mind.
The Bible says that Satan has deceived the whole world.
John said that the whole world lies in the lap of the wicked one.
This world is deceived.
It's following Satan's lie.
And Paul was saying to this church of Colossae, I want to pray for your minds.
That your minds would be filled with the knowledge of His will.
That you would know Him and know what He wants you to do.
No wonder the Apostle Paul, when he told us to put on the armor of God, said, you put on the belt of truth, you put on the righteousness of Christ, you put on the gospel on your feet, but you take the helmet of salvation and you put it on your head.
Why?
Because we are to protect our mind from the wicked one.
Paul said in Romans chapter 7 and verse number 24, he said, Oh wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
I thank God through Jesus Christ, for with the mind I myself serve the law of God, and with the flesh the law of sin.
How did Paul serve God?
With his mind.
Paul said, let this mind be in you, which is also in Christ Jesus.
Paul said, gird up the loins of your mind, and I want you to walk in the mind of Christ, with the will of Christ, doing the things that Christ has sent us to do.
Stay focused.
And if you're going to stay focused, you've got to get it right up here.
You've got to get your mind fixed on Him.
So Paul was praying.
As these evil people were coming in, these evil teachers were coming in to corrupt their minds, Paul was praying that God would protect their minds.
One of the things I pray for in our church today is I pray for our people.
I pray for you.
That God would help you to think right in this world.
This is one of the prayers I pray for this church.
When I pray for this church, I say, Oh God, give us some daddies that are sober minded.
That know how to think right.
Give them wisdom in their homes to love their wives and lead their children and be men.
To be godly men!
Oh God, give our wives wisdom how to love their husbands and to bring their children up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
God, give us wisdom in this evil day.
Help us to walk in light.
Help us to walk in wisdom.
Why?
Because this world has lost its ever-loving mind.
Somebody better keep its mind while the world is losing theirs.
Man, I wish you guys were awake.
This would be a lot better.
I'm having a great time.
You would have more fun if you were awake.
So Paul said, for this cause, I'm praying for you because you know the grace of God in truth.
Because you've been saved, I'm praying now that your mind would be filled with that knowledge.
Now what does he mean by the word filled?
That word filled is an incredible word and it's used all the way through the book of Colossians.
The word filled is the word complete.
The Bible says in Colossians chapter 2 verse 10 that we are complete in Him.
In other words, it's a word that has a dual meaning.
Listen to it.
Number one, it means it has the idea of a vessel that is fully loaded and ready for a trip across the sea.
That vessel has been filled.
It has everything it needs for the journey.
I want to tell you, when you got saved and you met the Lord Jesus Christ, you have everything you need for life and godliness.
You have everything you need for this life and the next.
You're complete.
You're complete.
Do you believe that?
You need nothing else.
If you know Jesus, you've got it all.
Now you want to get to know Him more and follow Him more and do His will.
But you know Him.
To know Him is to have everything.
You are complete in Christ.
In chapter 1 and verse 9, in chapter 1 and verse 19, in chapter 1 and verse 22, in chapter 1 and verse 25, in chapter 2 and verses 9 and 10, in chapters 4, verses 12 and 17, Paul uses the word filled, full, fulfilled, full, complete, full, fulfilled, full.
What is he saying?
He's saying, I want you as a believer to have your mind full and complete and filled with Christ and His will that you know how to live for Christ.
That was Paul's prayer.
That you're fully equipped for the journey that God has called you on.
And by the way, I just want to tell you, I think the American Church needs an absolute 100% baptism back into the Word of God and the completeness of Christ.
The American Church is a church following experiences.
We're chasing experience after experience after experience.
And we've lost sight that Christ is enough.
Jesus is enough.
You can learn more of Him, you can learn more from Him, but you can never learn more beyond Him.
So He wanted them to be filled.
The word filled is not only a word that means equipped for the journey and like a vessel fully laden for the trip across the sea, but the word filled also has the idea that it's controlled by.
When the disciples were filled with fear, they were controlled by their fear.
When they were filled with anger, they were controlled by their anger.
And Paul was saying, I want you to be filled with the wisdom and the knowledge of God.
Why?
Because if you're fully laden with everything in Christ, you're going to be controlled by Christ.
And remember what I told you at the beginning?
The Christian life is Christ.
There's only been one who's ever lived a Christian life.
And if I'm going to live it and you're going to live it, it's going to require Him to live it in us.
You're not here today as a Christian to live by a set of rules.
You're here to follow Christ and let Him live His life in you.
I am crucified with Christ.
Nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.
For Christ, who is our life, it is Christ in me, the hope of glory.
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
His life is in mine, my life is in His, and I'm to be filled with and controlled by the Lord Jesus Christ.
Is your life controlled by Christ?
You say, well, how do I know that?
Listen.
Watch what Paul says in verse 9, "...for this cause we also, since the day we heard of it, do not cease to pray for you and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding." What Paul was praying for was twofold.
Paul was praying that they would have full knowledge.
That word knowledge there simply means to have full knowledge.
That they would have full knowledge of Christ, And full knowledge of His will.
In other words, it was the answer to Paul's prayer when he first met Jesus.
Who are you and what will you have me to do?
We are to be pursuing Christ.
As believers, we are to be pursuing Him, to know Him more and more and more, to be filled with the knowledge of Christ, growing in the knowledge of Christ, and doing the will of Christ.
You're not going to get that, listen to me, you're not going to get that by just following some YouTuber.
You're not going to get that by reading a devotional.
You're going to get the full knowledge of Christ and the will of Christ by filling your life with this book.
That's why later in the book of Colossians, Paul's going to say, let the Word of God dwell in you richly.
Are you in the Word of God every day?
And rather, is the Word of God in you?
We've got to get filled with the knowledge of God and the knowledge of His will by getting in the Word of God.
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law does he meditate day and night.
Is that what you're doing?
Do you have your heart and mind filled with the Word of God to live out?
Listen, whatever God has called you to do, it doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter if you're a pastor, or if you're an evangelist, or you're a painter, or you lay carpet, or you're a housewife, or you're a businessman, or you're an engineer, or you're a medical doctor.
It matters not what you do, but do you do what you do through the power of Christ and for Christ, and are you following Him and His will?
God has a will for you, where you work, what you do.
Too many Christians want to divide our lives into the sacred and the secular.
Well, church is just what I do on Sunday, but this is what I do the rest of the week.
Listen to me.
Jesus never divided His life into the sacred and secular.
Everywhere a Christian goes is holy ground.
We are temples of the Holy Spirit of God.
Christ is in us.
And so everywhere we go, I'm doing His will.
Tomorrow morning, when I go to work, I'm going to line up and I'm going to do the will of God at my work.
If that means I'm painting a wall, I'm doing this in the will of God.
I'm doing this in the Spirit of God.
It doesn't matter what I do, I want to do it for Christ and all that you do, whether you eat or drink or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Let's go right back to it.
Hey, Mamas, sometimes you think, oh man, I just don't feel like I'm doing much for God.
Sometimes, Mama, just getting the right shoes on the right feet and the right kind of breakfast in the belly and out the door, you did a great thing for God.
Taking care of the family, taking care of the home, helping your husband find his socks, you're doing the will of God.
What would we do without you?
I'll tell you what we'd do.
We'd wear the same shirt.
Amen?
I do it all the time.
My wife will walk in the closet.
She's like, why did you hang this back up?
Oh, because I can wear that again.
Uh, no.
Thank God for that.
I'm not smelly.
Listen, I'm just a man.
If I was a man, if I had it my way, listen, I don't know what the, you know, a woman can sit down at a mirror, she can take, she can take 45 minutes, put her makeup on, fix her hair, try on 17 outfits.
Do I have a witness?
And she can be like, oh, I have nothing to wear.
And she'll finally get something on and look drop-dead gorgeous.
She'll walk out of the house like, oh, I look terrible.
This is the difference between men and women.
That's what she'll do.
An hour getting ready, 17 dresses, everything's now, the closet's a wreck, but you're beautiful.
We dudes can roll out of bed, grab a pair of jeans that have been laying on the chair, throw that on, grab an old t-shirt, put it on, look in the mirror, do a little business, and be like, hey, looking good my man.
And we can walk out the door looking good.
We actually think we look good walking down the street.
Now I'm saying that to say this, listen, listen, we don't divorce the day-to-day from the spiritual.
Christ, listen, Christ came in you to live His life through you where you are and in what you're doing.
And you can know His will.
Well, how do you know the will of God?
Listen very carefully.
Number one, there is a general will of God.
God has a will for every man, and His will is only found in His Word.
This Bible is God's revelation of His mind and His will for mankind.
You say, okay, well then what is it?
I'll tell you right now.
First of all, the Bible says that God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
In 1 Timothy chapter 2, the Apostle Paul writes that God, who would have all men everywhere to be saved, Titus chapter 2 and verse 11, the grace of God which bring us salvation hath appeared to all men.
So what is the will of God?
The will of God is for everyone to be saved.
God wants people to, God wants men to be saved.
There is a call ringing out today, whosoever will may come.
And if you're not saved, you're out of the will of God.
If you're not saved, come to Jesus Christ today.
If you're not saved, I don't care who you are, how far you think you've gone, and you think, I don't know that He can save me, man.
If I come into a church, the building's gonna fall down.
I don't know that God would want me.
Listen to me.
He loves you.
He died for you.
He gave His rich, red, royal blood for you.
He took your sins and His body on the cross.
And He died and He rose again and He stands today saying, Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
If you'll come to Him, He'll save you because it's His will.
It's God's will for you to be saved.
In 1 Thessalonians chapter 4, the Bible says, And this is the will of God concerning you, even your sanctification.
That you abstain from fornication.
What is God's will?
God's will, listen to me, God's will number one is that I get saved.
God's will number two is that I am sanctified and set apart from this world for Him.
God wants to sanctify me, that He wants to put me with His mark in my life, that I belong to Him.
It's God's will for me to be saved.
It's God's will for me to be sanctified.
Set apart for Him.
Ephesians chapter 5 and verse 17, be not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Okay, Paul, I don't want to be unwise.
I want to understand the will of the Lord.
What is it?
Be not drunk with wine wherein is excess, but be filled with the Spirit.
Okay, so what is the will of God for me?
God's will for me is to be saved.
God's will for me is to be sanctified, set apart to Him.
And God's will is for me to be Spirit-filled.
My life to be Spirit-filled.
Let me ask you a question today.
Listen, I want you to answer these questions in your heart.
Are you saved?
If the answer to that is, I don't know or no, you're out of the will of God.
You need to come to Christ today and be saved.
Okay, those of you that are saved, you said yes.
Okay, let me ask you question number two.
Are you sanctified?
Are you living a life set apart for Jesus Christ?
Are you abstaining from the flesh?
Are you abstaining from fornication and impurity and wickedness?
Are you dying to self and living for Christ?
Are you living that life that Christ has called you to live?
You say, well, no.
Well, then you're out of the will of God.
Let me ask you the question.
You say, well yeah, I am sanctified.
I am set apart for Christ.
Okay.
Are you saved?
Yes.
Then you're in the will of God.
Are you sanctified?
Yes.
Then you're in the will of God.
Let me ask you a third question.
Are you filled with the Spirit?
Right now, where you sit, are you filled with the Spirit?
Are you under the control of the Holy Spirit of God?
Is He filling your life, working in you, producing the fruit of the Spirit in your life?
Are you under the control of the Holy Spirit?
If not, you're not in the will of God.
And by the way, you don't just get that by osmosis.
You don't just get filled with the Holy Spirit of God just because you wake up in the morning.
The Bible says, if ye, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father in Heaven give to them the Holy Ghost that ask Him?
Have you gotten up this morning and said, Lord, empty me of me and fill me with you?
I want to be a Spirit-filled pastor.
I want to be a Spirit-filled wife.
I want to be a Spirit-filled husband.
I want to be a Spirit-filled parent.
I want to be a Spirit-filled engineer.
I want to be a Spirit-filled carpenter.
Whatever God has called you to do, be a Spirit-filled Christian.
The Bible also says it's the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you that you give thanks in all things.
I'll tell you something right now, if you have an ingratitude attitude, if you're an ingrate and unthankful, you're out of the will of God.
The Bible says to be thankful in all things.
I'm glad for that little preposition, in.
I'm glad God didn't say, be thankful for all things.
God, I'm really thankful that that truck just ran over me and broke my leg.
God, I'm thankful that, God, thank you for letting Bennett have open heart surgery.
Oh, no, no.
I may not be thankful for everything, but listen to me, I can be thankful in everything.
God, thank you that when this surgery came, we had you and that you oversaw it.
Thank you that you love us and that you're willing to go with us.
Hey, listen to me.
Be thankful in everything.
We live in a world today filled with ingrates.
We live in such a blessed country.
Oh my goodness.
And yet everybody wants to walk around with a sign telling how they're offended.
I know this is not appropriate, and I probably shouldn't say this, but you know me better by now.
Years ago in Mississippi, I had an old guy that used to come to our church, and he'd walk into church, and he had a shirt.
Now, I'm not going to say the word.
It just said P-O-O-P.
Okay?
Don't laugh.
It just said that.
And then on the back, it said, I said, hey, what is on your shirt?
He said, oh, it's a new club I started.
And he turned around and it said, people offended by offended people.
Now, I don't think that was appropriate, but everybody's offended.
Everybody's a victim.
You know why?
Because people have not ever been thankful.
Do you know, if we would just, if we'd stop protesting about what we don't have and start thanking God for what we do have, it would change everything.
Amen.
So God has a general will for your life.
God wants you to be saved.
God wants you to be sanctified.
God wants you to be Spirit filled.
God wants you to be filled with gratitude and offering sacrifices of praise to Him.
But then on top of that, God has a specific will.
Now I'm landing and we're done.
Now watch this.
God has a specific will for you.
Listen, don't you think that God just deals with the masses?
God is not a God that just deals with the masses.
He's always a God who deals with the individual.
In the middle of a great multitude, God saw one.
In the middle of a great multitude, Jesus turned to one and said, Woman, be clean.
He knows, listen, He knows every hair on your head.
As some of you get older, you're making God's job a little easier.
Thank you for that.
But God knows you.
Listen to me.
God knows you.
God knows the thoughts of your heart.
He knows the burdens of your soul.
God knows the intents of your motive.
God knows everything about you.
God knows you better than you know yourself.
And God made you for His purpose.
You are not just a clump of cells that survived the gauntlet of evolutionary processes.

You didn't just crawl out of some primordial stew and became a clump of cells that somehow evolved into you.
Listen to me.
God made you.
God intended for you to be alive.
God gave you breath and life.
He knows you.
There's never been another you.
Thank God there will never be another you.
You're the only you that will ever be.
You're the only you that can know God the way you can know God.
You're the only God that can give Him worship the way you can worship Him.
You're the only one that has the will of God for your life as God has intended it for you.
And listen, you need to know His will!
You need to know the will of God.
God wants you to know Him and you to do the will God has called you to do.
God wanted me.
God's will for me was to be saved.
I got saved at 5 years old.
Thank God for a godly mama and daddy who prayed for me and I got saved at 5 years old.
God's will for my life was to marry.
And God's will was for me to marry a woman.
That's always been God's will.
God made them male and female and said, for this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and be cleaved to his wife.
So God wanted me to marry a woman, but not just any woman.
God's general will said, okay Dean, my will is for you to be saved.
I want you to be married.
I want you to marry a girl.
I want you to marry a saved girl.
His will said, be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers.
You need to marry a saved girl.
You have to marry a Christian girl.
So right away that eliminated everyone who wasn't saved.
Now I only had To go after those that were saved.
And then here's what happened.
So nowhere in the Bible did it say, Thou shalt marry Michelle.
That was God's specific will for me.
So how did I know that God wanted me to marry her?
How did I know?
In His general will, God wanted me saved.
In His general will, God wanted me to be married.
In His general will, God wanted me to marry a Christian young lady.
So how did I know it was her?
I couldn't know it was her until I knew Him and He led me to her and led her to me.
So here's what happened.
Here's the process and I'm done with this.
We're going to finish the message right now and we're going to go eat.
Watch this carefully.
How do we know the will of God?
How are we filled with the knowledge of His will?
Right here, watch this carefully.
Paul was praying for them and here's what he was, here's what Paul said.
Paul said the first way that you know the will of God is first of all you have to present yourself a living sacrifice to Him.
So in my life, there was a point in my life where I had surrendered my life to God.
I had been saved and I surrendered my life.
I wanted to fly fighter jets in the Air Force.
That's what I wanted to do.
But I had surrendered my life to follow the Lord.
God was leading me and guiding me.
I had to surrender me.
So watch this.
I presented myself to Him.
So I made presentation.
God, here am I. In the Old Testament, you had to bring sacrifices that were dead.
In the New Testament, we bring sacrifices that are living.
The problem with a living sacrifice is they get off the altar a lot.
Amen?
How many of you have ever been on the altar and then off the altar?
Me!
That's why the Old Testament gives us the picture of the things called the flesh hooks.
They had some old flesh hooks in the Bible.
They would put those in the altar, put that sacrifice on there and bind them to the altar.
I've had to ask God, Lord, put some flesh hooks in me and bind me to the altar.
I want to get on the altar and stay on the altar, but I'm slippery.
So I have to make a presentation.
Watch as I present myself to God.
God, I'm giving you me.
My mind is your mind.
My eyes are your eyes.
My hands, your hands.
My feet, your feet.
My heart, your heart.
I'm giving my life to you.
I'm making a presentation.
Let me tell you what God does.
God says you present your bodies a living sacrifice.
Don't be conformed to the world.
Don't let the world squeeze you into its mold.
Watch this.
But be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Watch what happens.
Here's the recipe.
I come to God and I make a presentation of me to God.
When I make a presentation of me to God, God makes a transformation of me.
He changes my mind.
I begin to see things from God's understanding and God's wisdom and God's view.
I start seeing God leading and ordering my steps.
As I make a presentation of me, God makes a transformation of me.
When God makes a transformation of me, watch this, my presentation and His transformation equals a realization.
Now I prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
So when I was a boy, I got saved.
Through my life, I made myself a living sacrifice to the Lord.
I made sure that I was obeying His general revelation.
Listen, I was keeping myself pure.
I was walking with the Lord, filled with the Holy Spirit.
Lord, lead me and guide me.
I'm following You.
While I was following Him, He was transforming me.
He was renewing my mind.
I was not being squeezed into the world's mold.
I wasn't going to the bars and the nightclubs and out looking for a chick.
I was walking with God and getting to know His Word and living sanctified and Spirit-filled, not conformed to the world.
I was being transformed by the renewing of my mind.
I was now seeing life God's way, living life God's way, not leaning to my own understanding, but in all my ways acknowledging Him, and He was directing my paths.
And step by step by step, the Lord led me down a road, and I wish I could take time to tell you the whole thing, but I can't.
But watch this.
One day, as I was following Jesus, boom!
There was Michelle!
Hallelujah!
That was a beautiful day in my life.
When I found out that doing God's general will, presenting myself to Him, my presentation was His transformation, His transformation one day was my realization.
Hubba hubba!
Yes!
It is Her!
This is the One!
Amen!
Listen, it pays to serve Jesus, I'll tell you that.
And then here it was, this is the one.
God made it instantly clear in my heart and my mind.
They say, how do you know that?
In the military, if you're flying jets like Brother Tom, Brother Tom Mitchell down here was a pilot in the Navy, 280 some aircraft carrier landings.
I'm going to get probably some of this wrong, Brother Tom, you can correct me after the service, but at least this will be cool for everybody else to hear.
But in the Navy they have a saying, call the ball.
Call the ball.
How many of you ever heard that?
Call the ball.
Call the ball.
Anybody ever heard that?
Okay.
Maybe it's true, I don't know.
But it's, call the ball.
Now what does that mean, call the ball?
Well, as a pilot's coming in, he's getting information about how many knots the wind is blowing, how many knots the ship is moving, how the ship is pitching in the sea and all that kind of stuff.
Boom, boom, boom.
And he's getting all the instructions and he's got to line the jet up just right.
And you're trying to land a school bus on a postage stamp, trying to catch a giant jet by a little wire.
And that guy's flying.
And as he's moving along, he's making all the adjustments into the wind, getting his line on compass, getting everything set up, everything's right, flaps are down, everything's good.
He's moving towards the ship, and there comes a certain point when they just say to the pilot, call the ball.
Now what that means is there's a set of lights on the deck, and there is a set of lights to the right and a set of lights to the left.
And in the middle, sometimes they call it the meatball.
That middle ball.
If I'm off to the left, that meatball is going to be over here.
In these lights.
If I'm off to the right, that meatball is going to be over here in this set of lights.
If I'm a little high, it's going to be up here.
If I'm a little low, it's down here.

All right, we're going back to Pastor Dean Miller of Front Range Baptist Church in Fort Collins, Colorado.

So this is Pastor Dean Miller finishing up his sermon from the book of Colossians.
And so as a pilot, I'm making sure that my line of sight is that that ball lines up with the other lights on left and right.
And when it does, I'm on the right approach.
I'm in.
As a believer, when we're following Christ in this old world, we got to call the ball.
Our life needs to line up with the Word of God and the Spirit of God.
I'm obedient to His general will.
I'm following the leadership of His Spirit.
These things are not in contradiction to each other.
And when the Word of God and the Spirit of God and all the things that God has ordained in the circumstances of my life line up, I can call the ball and I come in in the will of God.
What these believers in Colossae had is they had the Gnostics who were trying to get them off course.
And here's what they were doing.
They were using, and Satan is so subtle, Satan always uses God's words, but his own dictionary.
And Paul took these words back from the Gnostics, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, but he defined them with God's dictionary.
And he said, you're going to find knowledge in Christ.
You're going to find wisdom in Christ.
You're going to find understanding in Christ.
You're going to know His Word.
You're going to follow His Word.
And you're going to call the ball.
And you can know the will of God for your life.
Colossians 1.9 is the verse that brought our family to Colorado.
When I was struggling in my heart, I did not want to leave where I was.
I wanted to come.
I wanted to stay right where I was.
We had raised our girls there, we had a wonderful church, but God was moving.
God was doing something in my heart.
And I began to seek God's wisdom and His mind in my life.
And I came to that verse, Colossians 1-9, that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will.
I put my finger on that verse and I said, God, I can know what you're calling me to do.
I can know what you want me to do.
And so I'm going to pursue you in your word, and I'm going to line my life up with your word.
I'm going to line my life up with the Holy Spirit.
I'm going to listen to what you're saying, and I'm going to take step at a time, and I'm going to call the ball.
And I can tell you today that I believe I'm in the perfect will of God for my life.
Where God wants me to be.
Why?
Because my life has been made a presentation.
God makes a transformation.
I have realization of the plan of God for my life.
You can know that too.
So I want to say this today.
If you're not saved, you're out of the will of God.
You need to be saved today.
If you're a Christian and your life is not lining up with the general will of God, you need to get right with the Lord today and you need to get your life back in line with the Word of God.
If you're not listening to the Holy Spirit, you need to get your life back in line with the Holy Spirit of God, and the Lord will help you and guide you, keep you on track, and direct your steps.
Amen.
