We're going to get into the big stories that you're going to want to stay tuned for.
The biggest story, well there's a couple ones, but the biggest one is As Congress members and media analysts continue to demand proof of life of Joe Biden, we're not getting a whole lot.
And it looks like Joe Biden may be on his way out, not just of the office of the presidency of the United States, but perhaps even on his way out of this life.
Apparently, we're going to look at some of the evidence that's being put forth.
People are saying that the abrupt end to Joe Biden's 2024 presidential campaign is directly linked to a rather drastic emergency health situation, and that this all occurred in Las Vegas a few weeks ago, and now we're watching the aftermath unfold.
You know, here's what's happening, though.
The inside baseball is this.
What we knew is that Joe Biden wasn't going to be the presidential candidate.
What I predicted is that he wouldn't even finish his term.
I said that he would step down for some medical issue and Kamala would become president.
So now we're getting to that part of the play.
So I guess I was right, not that I wanted to be, but here we are.
And what's interesting is Kamala Harris has come out now and had this conference and now she's the captain now, as the meme goes from the online communities.
That's from that movie with Captain, I think it was called Captain Phillips.
But she is the captain now, and Joe Biden's done some rather strange things, including going as far as to relinquish some of his authorities and delegate them as president.
People are saying this is very odd.
If you actually look at what's happened, what they're saying here is that he's delegating his duties to the Secretary of State and the Secretary of the Treasury.
He hasn't been seen now for five days.
He appeared on a phone call yesterday that a lot of people are saying was obviously pre-recorded but may also have been some sort of AI generated Forgery of Joe Biden's voice.
They're coupling this with the fact that his signature doesn't match his normal signature on the on the document which they put forward to announce his stepping down from the campaign for the 2024 election.
a very strange and abrupt withdrawal followed by an even stranger and more abrupt pronouncement of support for Kamala Harris to become the new candidate.
This is all very troubling, not to mention the fact that democracy has died.
The party of democracy has killed it.
You know, the Democrats, they always yell incoherently about how we're destroying democracy.
Meanwhile, they're just completely rigging their primaries and rigging their nomination processes and completely obfuscating the democratic process altogether.
It's almost, it's, as I said in yesterday's show, it's rather impressive, if it weren't so heinous, how incredible these people are at gaslighting, propagandizing, deceiving and manipulating.
It's, it's on a scale that's so proportionally epic that you're like, this is, this is dangerous.
I mean, it, it really is.
As soon as Kamala Harris was given the green light from Biden, apparently they don't need to have another primary because the delegates themselves can just ignore the votes, you know, the democratic process and the voters who voted to direct them on who to select and just select anyone.
And now they're going to select Kamala Harris.
So she'll be now the official nominee.
Now, my theory Depends on a couple of things and it may fall short in one category, my predictions that I've been making for the last few weeks and months, but the main one being that So a lot of it's come true, right?
Joe Biden's stepped down.
We knew that was happening.
We knew he wasn't going to finish and run in the election.
That happened.
The next thing that's coming is Joe Biden's going to step down.
I said this, if you want to go back and pull the tapes, I said this a long time ago, that Joe Biden would either get sick and step down or he would actually die and he would not finish his term.
And it looks like that's exactly what's happening.
Joe Biden will not finish his term as it stands today, it seems.
And you know it's true because, you know, up until the very last second, the White House and all their spokespeople and all their, you know, acolytes were saying, Joe Biden's staying in the race.
Even Joe Biden, like a couple weeks ago, was saying, I'm going to be the candidate.
I'm not leaving the race.
And then all of a sudden, abruptly, out of nowhere, He has this mysterious medical emergency in, of all places, Las Vegas, Nevada, and now all of a sudden he's not on the ticket.
Um, but it's going to get worse because if my prediction holds true, which I'm sticking to my guns to, to most of it, there's one thing I'll change.
Uh, it's that Joe Biden will not finish his term as president of the United States.
Kamala will become by default, the first female president of the United States of America and God help us because It is a dangerous thing that we have a DEI, incompetent nincompoop, halfwit running the country.
But again, we've had that for the last three and a half years, so it's not like it's going to change that much.
Other than we're going to probably get a lot more emotional up in here.
But no, I mean, this is exactly what is going to happen.
I'm telling you right now.
The writing's on the wall.
And I've made a bold prediction that I think Joe Biden's going to be dead by next Monday.
I pray I'm wrong.
I don't wish death upon him.
I'm not advocating for his death or violence against him.
But I feel as though his health is deteriorating so rapidly They're telling us, at least, that he'll be gone by next Monday.
July 29th.
Mark the calendar.
I hope I'm wrong.
But I feel like I've got enough of an insight into what's going on now to see that he's not going to last.
The chicken's cooked, as they say.
So he's gone.
He's done.
Now we have to deal with Kamala.
But Kamala is the same thing Joe Biden was, or is, depending on what you believe.
Just a puppet for the deep state.

We're talking about the events of the last 48 hours, or the last 7 days, really, since July 13th, the attempted assassination of Donald J. Trump.
So much has unfolded.
So much has happened.
And I guess, you know, what we're kind of discussing right now are all the facts surrounding the situation right now with regard to Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, and what's happening inside Washington, D.C.
behind closed doors.
What's happening really, as many have pointed out online, is that there has been a coup.
Joe Biden's been removed.
And here's the thing.
I don't know if I would even call it a coup, because a coup would insinuate that Joe Biden was at one point in control, right?
Because for a coup really to take place, you'd be essentially, you know, removing an individual from power to replace them with some other authority or authority figure or set of authority figures.
But the reality is, What's actually happened is just the veil has been peeled back, right?
The curtain's been pulled back and we see the little Oz man behind the Wizard of Oz, right?
That's a good reference.
Most people will understand if you ever watched the movie The Wizard of Oz, which hopefully it's not a spoiler alert since the movie's older, way older, a lot older than I am.
But, you know, when they get there, Dorothy and the gang get there to see the Wizard of Oz, you know, they find this grand illusion, right, that is just a little man behind the microphone who controls this illusion that is this Wizard of Oz, right?
So, that's what's happened.
The curtain's been peeled back, and we're now seeing the naked The absolutely authoritarian nature of Washington and the Democrat Party.
But more overly, the Uniparty.
This isn't a Democrat thing.
I want to be clear.
If you think that there's a difference between Democrat and Republican, you're very much mistaken.
What difference we have found at this point, what I've seen at least, is that there are conservatives like Trump and others, myself included, I believe, who are using pragmatically the Republican Party because it's the only Vessel through which you can gain power.
You couldn't come in as a third party candidate.
That's because the system is not made to accommodate that scenario.
So you have to find a vector of attack, metaphorically, and that vector is one party or another.
So communists, socialists Anarchists, pedophiles, Satanists, they've all chosen the vector of the Democrat Party.
And there's a few other groups intermingled amongst there.
It's really a conflagration of all of those things.
But the vector chosen by rhinos, traitors and the like, fake conservatives,
but as well as true American patriots and people but as well as true American patriots and people like myself or Christian who also, I mean, I'm not, when I say Christian nationalist, really the emphasis is on Christian obviously.
I'm a Christian, but if I were to talk about a style of governance and reform that I think will most closely suit the ends that we're you know working toward nationalism would probably be the best way to describe it a consolidation of power so that we can protect our sovereignty because if we can't help ourselves we'll never be able to help others if our house is not in order
how can we ever expect to help anyone anywhere else right we always talk about bringing democracy to these countries, and what has that really yielded?
Besides death, chaos, destruction, and pride flags flying over US embassies.
So, that, to me, is an indication of not only empire in decline, which is what we are,
But more importantly, it's an indication that our country has been seized by demonic forces who are so lustful over power, money, and the like, that they've completely, in the process of obtaining those things, destroyed
And are attempting to further destroy the Christian founders framework which was predicated upon Christian morality and the Bible and Christianity.
And that's what, and that's why our country's failing.
So if you ask me why I say Christian Nationalists, that's the explanation.
So in that regard, yes, I am for making this country a Christian nation once again.
However, I still believe it is a Christian nation, which it is, if you look demographically, at least.
But they're working very hard to get rid of it.
And people like Joe Biden are probably the most dangerous thing for our country, right?
Because Joe Biden, a self-proclaimed Catholic, Will, in one breath, say that his faith is very important to him, and in the same breath will say that his faith has nothing to do with his position on murdering babies like abortion.
Now, some people may point out that Donald Trump may not be that much better on the issue of abortion, to which I reply, you're right, I agree.
And I don't like that.
And that is something that I vehemently disagree with Trump on, and that I will always openly say Trump is 100% wrong on.
There is no acceptable term or time at which you can murder an innocent life.
That is demonic.
That is evil.
However, in a two-party system, Pragmatically speaking, you have to, as I've painted the picture of earlier, use the vector of attack, metaphorical, that is the most optimal for you to achieve the ends which you are seeking to achieve.
So, if my end is to restore this nation to greatness, and my definition of greatness is a majority of our nation worshiping jesus christ
if not the entire nation we should be everyone should every knee should bow but people have free will and they can make their own choices which is again part of what our founding fathers enshrined in our foundational documents because it's it's a It is a biblical truth.
It is a truth that God has given us free will.
So therefore we are free to have an exercise our will.
But without me getting into much of a diatribe here on on the whole, my personal views, let's just talk about the situation we're facing at hand.
Okay, there's been a naked push, a flagrant attack on the halls of power in our Constitutional Republic, right?
And the executive branch, specifically now.
Interestingly enough, The delegation of powers that Joe Biden's been doing are something that people are pointing out and going, this is crazy.
A document was released from the White House called, on July 22nd, yesterday, called the Memorandum on the Delegation of Certain Functions and Authorities under the Rebuilding Economic Prosperity and Opportunity for Ukraine's Act.
That's a fun way of putting it.
But again, the subject here is delegating certain functions and authorities vested to the President of the United States to people like the Secretary of Treasury and the Secretary of State.
Now, why would Joe Biden be
Delegating to the Secretary of Treasury the functions and authorities vested in the President by Section 104A-1 and 104A-2A of the Rebuilding Economic Prosperity and Opportunity for Ukrainians Act, and the Secretary of State being given authorities under another act, or the same act I should say,
Why is he delegating away his powers and authorities to his underlings?
Well, because he's in a compromised position.
Joe Biden is, I hate to say it folks, but he is either dead or dying.
We're not sure which yet, but that's the speculation online.
Now, will he make a miraculous recovery and pop back up and everything will be fine?
Only time will tell.
I don't have a crystal ball.
God has not given me that gift of vision to see the future, but as a man who has been studying this for a long time, again, I'm just reading the political tea leaves.
So you take their actions and you take those as indications, and then those indications give you an idea of what is coming.
So here's an interesting clip I want to play.

So there's been a demand for proof of life of Joe Biden, right?
Well, here it is.
He called in to the Kamala Harris event Which people are saying there's a lot of strange things, right?
Kamala Harris was in Delaware.
Why is Kamala Harris in Delaware?
Hmm.
At a campaign event for Joe Biden.
Hmm.
But now it's not for Joe Biden, it's for her.
Hmm.
Interesting questions.
But here he is.
So you tell me, this phone, this is Joe Biden calling in to a press conference, to an event.
This is the proof of life they want us to believe is indication that he is still alive and with us.
But it sounds pre-recorded and people are pointing out it might actually even be artificial intelligence recreation of his voice.

And now I'd like to introduce a man who we all admire and respect because he has done and continues to do so much for our country.

This is Joe Biden.
His proof of life is a phone call that sounds pre-recorded where he's talking with a strange lisp that he never had previously.
And, uh, it's, it's just a strange thing.

Keep lowering costs for families, continue to speak out on guns, and child care, elder care, prescription drugs, and climate.
Climate still is the existential threat that we face, and if we don't win this thing, it's all in jeopardy.
And we've got to keep working for an end to the war in Gaza.
I'll be working very closely with the Israelis and with the Palestinians to try to work out how we can get the Gaza war to end and Middle East peace and get all those hostages home.
I think we're on a verge of being able to do that.
And we've got to keep our alliances together.
It's critically important.
It took a while for me to build these alliances.
Most of these are my colleagues have acknowledged that.
But it's critically, critically important for our safety and security.
And I know I'll be doing whatever Kamala wants me or needs me to do in addition.
So let me be real clear.
We're still fighting in this fight together.
I'm not going anywhere.
And I want you to know I've always, you've always had my back.
And I promise you, I will always have your back.
And I'm anxious for you all to hear from Kamala.

Alright, so does Joe Biden have a lisp all of a sudden?
He sounds like he's talking with a lisp now.
Who knows, right?
People are saying it's a slur from a stroke, possibly.
People are saying that there was some sort of medical emergency.
The report that's been dropped on everyone here was from Charlie Kirk, who had this message sent to him.
So this is Charlie Kirk on Twitter from yesterday.
He said, quote, got a weird lead on a story that people should look into.
I got a call from a source close to Las Vegas Metro.
The official story was that Joe Biden's trip was cut short last week due to COVID.
However, according to this source, U.S.
Secret Service informed Las Vegas Metro that there was an emergency situation involving Joe Biden and two close necessary streets to close necessary streets so that potus could be transported immediately to the university medical which they began to do in earnest then mysteriously there was a stand down order in the unit us secret service informed local vegas pd that they were going to medevac potus to johns hopkins which they presumed meant flying back asap
Apparently, there was a rumor mail in the police department which was that Joe Biden was dying or possibly already dead.
I didn't think too much about this, Lee.
It seemed too wild to be true.
But, given that Joe Biden has been out of public sight for days and dropped out of the race via an ex-post, his brother James indicated health was a factor.
His brother Frank, actually.
I'm beginning to grow more curious if COVID or something else has been more serious than reported.
If anyone with Las Vegas Metro has any information and he gives an email address.
That's the story, right?
And then you're getting more confirmations from other people who are in and around that sphere that this is a true story, that this actually happened.
So Joe Biden had a medical emergency.
He was medevaced to Johns Hopkins.
He's now in recovery from whatever that was.
People are saying that the extended time which he has been out of sight has to do with the fact that he is certain somehow in recovery.
but but there is something going on here Somebody from the 720 texted in saying, which by the way, if you guys want to text or call, we'll open up line 877-536-1360.
Somebody from the 720 texted in and says, Biden hasn't talked in full sentences in years.
Maybe COVID kicked the Parkinson's out.
That'd be an interesting plot twist, but no, I think more likely Joe Biden is medically, he's he's compromised.
If everything tracks out the way that the political tea leaves have been reading, which I've been following for a long time daily, as you all know, um, Biden's gone.
He won't last.
He won't even make it through the rest of his term.
Now, I may be wrong, and that's fine, but the fact that he's already delegating his authority away tells you a lot, right?
And that he's already withdrawn from the race.
These are all highly indicative of the notion that he will not last, right?
Obviously.
So, This is what we're facing.
And there's also been, there have also been stories here talking about Joe Biden having a medical emergency.
Now, somebody who I don't like at all, but they're a valid source of information put on a personal level.
I just disdain this human being, Laura Loomer.
Because I know who she is.
She's not... She's Israel first, let's just be honest.
Alright?
And that's good.
Good for her.
I'm just not on board with it.
She's got a lot of, you know, very weird ideas and thoughts.
She's done a lot of weird, crazy stuff with Miley Annapolis.
I'm not a big fan of her, but she's got good information.
So we'll just look at the information.
She's reporting that there was an FAA flight restriction that just went up in Delaware where Joe Biden lives.
The flight restriction is for VIP movement.
Joe Biden's health is declining rapidly, and they reported that he is now in the terminal stage of his illness.
Joe Biden's chief of staff held an emergency meeting with all White House staff regarding this.
So her reporting is saying that Joe Biden's in terminal, he's in a terminal illness.
A terminal stage of his illness.
Like I said before, if you ask me, I don't think he makes it beyond Monday.
I think Monday is the deadline.
Why Monday?
Let's just say I have a feeling.
Monday of next week, July 29th.
I don't want to be right.
I really don't.
Because the implications are going to be so bad.
If we get Kamala Harris as the first black female president, We're never going to hear the end of it.
And it's a slap in the face to all the women of character, which there are, Benny, who are capable.
It's like when men compete in women's sports.
You watch it and you go, well, that's obviously not fair.
That's obviously going to be detrimental toward all women.
And then they're like, no, it's about equality and diversity and inclusion.
And you're like, no, it's just, it's just a heinous and atrocious thing.
Well, that's the same thing here.
But it would be appropriate given the state of our nation that our first female president is a DEI unmeritocratically promoted DEI hire.
There's something poetic about it, unfortunately.

We had our Secret Service hearing.

This was the best exchange I found.
I mean, we had a... the Director of the Secret Service, Kim Cheadle, came to Congress to testify about the attempted assassination of Donald J. Trump and how they failed so horribly.
Here's a little taste of what it was like yesterday on Capitol Hill.
Gentleman yields back.
Chair now recognizes Mr. Fallon from Texas.
How did a 20-year-old loner with a week's notice You picked the absolute best location to assassinate President Trump when the entire Secret Service missed it.
Director Cheadle, in your leadership, your agency got outsmarted and outmaneuvered by a 20-year-old.
How can we have any confidence that you could stop a trained professional from a nefarious nation-state?
Those are absolutely questions that we need to have answers to.
I know they're questions, but the fact of the matter is we can't have that confidence.
Director, do you have the authority to beef up security of any of your protectees?
Yes I do.
Okay.
So were you also aware there was a credible threat President Trump was facing?
He was facing a heightened security threat to a foreign adversary?
Yes.
Okay.
So given that there was an increased threat to President Trump's life, was he provided a full security complement akin to what a sitting U.S.
President would receive?
He was provided a full complement of security based on the threat assessment that we had.
That's not my question.
And the venue.
My question is, if he'd been the sitting president, would he have had the same security he had on July 13th or would have been beefed up?
There is a difference between the sitting president.
So he didn't.
So your answer is he didn't.
And continuity of government and the responsibility that we have.
So he did not.
Okay, there wasn't a CAT team, a full CAT team on site.
There wasn't counter surveillance teams on site.
So that's just a taste of it.
Here's another exchange.

Is that correct?
I am telling you I don't have all the details of the sequence at this time.
Director, it's been nine days.
Either you have the information or you do not.
Is that correct?
We are still in the process of conducting interviews and an investigation.
Some of my colleagues have texted me over the last couple days, bipartisan, about whether you should lose your job.
And I've been quiet on that question because I wanted to see what you were going to do today.
In my opinion, you do need to be fired immediately.
And it is because this is gross incompetence.
And the fact that it's been nine days, and these are simple questions to answer, I'm quite sure if I asked any one of my kids if they got in trouble and I told them to give me the details, I would get more answers from them than I'm getting from you right now.
Yeah, James Comer, the head of the Oversight Committee, Representative Comer, said that she gave more details in her NBC interview than she did on Capitol Hill.
Big story breaking though about the shooter, right?
So now what they're saying about the shooter, not only was this a failure of the Secret Service, which we know in my calculation it was intentional, they wanted to kill Trump and they missed.
Cell phone data though is showing that there was a frequent visitor to Crooks and the FBI building.
So, mobile ad data analysis by the Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project revealed that someone who regularly visited Thomas Crook's Pennsylvania home also visited a building in D.C.
near an FBI office.
The analysis identified nine devices linked to Crook's home and work.
These findings suggest Crook's did not act alone in the assassination attempt on Trump.
Despite inquiries, Secret Service Director Kenley Cheetah referred questions to Crook's potential accomplices.
Oh, just go talk to the FBI.
Yeah, let's go talk to the FBI.
Oh, you mean the organization that framed Trump?
Oh, that one?
Oh, the one that sent a SWAT team to go raid Roger Stone's home?
The one that went and did a SWAT raid on James O'Keefe's reporters?
The one that completely tried to rig the 2016 election and did effectively rig The 2020 election?
That FBI?

I mean, the story is crazy.
They're saying this kid didn't even use a scope.
He used iron sights for anybody who knows guns.
I mean, I'm a pretty good shot and I can shoot with iron sights fairly well and accurately, but.
Ironsighting something at 150 or 200 yards and even getting remotely accurate is not an easy thing.
I mean, I've been shooting for a while and I know how hard that is.
That's not an easy shot.
This kid apparently was using ironsights... No.
No, no, no, no.
Somebody had a shot from somewhere else.
They've already said there are three shooters, but they're saying don't worry because the other one was just, you know, another counter snipers.
Don't worry.

Justice Department comes out today, an hour ago, discovering transcripts they previously said they didn't have of Biden's chat with the biographer, which was discussed in the Robert Herr report.
Also, the DOJ relents and asks Herr for help in responding to the flurry of FOIA suits for his records.
Huh.
Somebody pointed out, now that Biden's not running, it's amazing the info that the DOJ is able to cough up on him.
Huh.
Oh, gosh.
We are really, really suffering right now.
A lot of, a lot of stories to cover, but We will get into a lot of those at a later time.
A quick recap of just the headlines.
Elon Musk did an interview with Jordan Peterson where he said a lot of things.
I guess my main takeaway was his position on Christianity, which he has the position that a lot of atheists, secular Uh, secular Jews and others will have where they say, well, you know, Jesus was a good guy and he had a lot of good ideas, but I don't really believe in him.
That's Elon Musk.
So, you know, we can pray that he changes his heart and realizes that there's only one way to the father and that's through the son.
our lord jesus christ so that's something but he also said and this is the richest man in the world by the way who doesn't seemingly doesn't he said he's not religious doesn't believe in jesus christ but thinks he's a good guy so sounds pretty satanic to me but you know everybody's entitled to their own opinion
he went on in that interview to say that the reason he's become such a anti woke hardcore person is because he gave his son Puberty blockers, and essentially sterilized his son because the psychiatrist his son was seeing told him that if he didn't, his son would commit suicide.
And so he said that his son is dead now because of that, even though his son is alive and is now a trans thing.
Transgender... whatever you call it.
And...
That's what led to his, you know, anti-woke crusade.
He said he will purge the world of the woke mind virus.
You know, if we're lucky, he will continue down this path and eventually wake up to the truth about Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit, and understand that all the money he has, which is essentially all the money in the world, is not going to save him.
It's not going to save his poor Mutilated transgendered son and it's not going to save All that money is not going to save their eternal souls So hopefully they'll figure that out What else we had other stories other stories other stories that was one The other story really is Well I think that was about it.
Oh yeah, the other story is this.
Trump is demolishing Kamala Harris in all the swing states.
A lot of the polling is saying that he's got maybe a 10 or 11 point lead in certain places.
Everything from, you know, a 7 point lead to an 11 point lead.
We'll see how long that lasts, but this is what I said.
They're going to audition Kamala Harris, and if she can't get the numbers up in the polls, listen to me.
I'm making another prediction.
Biden steps down.
She becomes president.
Then she'll withdraw in September or so after the convention.
She'll withdraw and they'll have a crisis.

Okay, so like I said, in the second hour we're going to get into stuff.
We had our good friend Henry text in who said, where's Jill?
I don't know where Jill Biden is.
She's probably sitting next to Joe Biden there contemplating.
She's probably the one who signed the letter, to be honest with you.
She probably thought she could get away with impersonating his signature.
She's probably done it before.
Didn't think people would notice, so that would be my best guess.
Maybe she has power of attorney or something because he's in an incapacitated state.
I don't know.
But, like I said, it's the second hour, hour two of the JustFormTalk radio show.
We're going to listen to a sermon from the book of Colossians by my pastor, and hopefully yours, Pastor Dean Miller, who is the pastor at Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
I want to play this incredible sermon for all of you out there, because this is where we need to focus.
Our hope comes from Scripture.
Let's listen to this.
Look at Colossians chapter 1 today.
If you're new here, we're beginning a new series of messages through the book of Colossians.
We're going to teach and preach through this book, and there's several reasons for that.
One is the Lord led us there.
As I begin to pray about where we would go, the Lord just made it clear and evident in my heart that this is the book that we're going to study.
And it's such a needful book for this hour for the church.
The Church of Colossae, we learned last week in our first message in Colossians, we learned that Colossae was a place we would have not ever known anything about had it not been for this book.
The only thing that we ever knew of Colossae Was that there was a church there.
Paul had never been there.
Paul had never visited Colossae.
But he was writing this letter to that church and giving them instruction.
Now how did the church get to be at Colossae?
Colossae was about a hundred miles from Ephesus where Paul had spent three years ministering in Ephesus.
Colossae sat on a major roadway that connected the east To the west.
It sat in a tri-city area.
There was Colossi.
There was Laodicea.
There was Hierapolis.
And these three cities in that region were cities that were filled with all kinds of cultural mix because of the trade that was coming into that place.
Colossi was a city that I think they had high hopes that it was going to be a colossal city.
That's somewhat of its namesake.
That it was going to be a great metropolitan area.
And it never became that.
It remained somewhat, for all of its trade, for all the culture that came through Colossae, it always remained somewhat of a smaller place.
And it was kind of an off-the-beaten-path kind of place.
And so, Paul's writing to them, Simply because word has come to Paul that these people at Colossae were having some dangers of being carried away into false teaching.
False teachers had invaded their assembly.
What kind of false teachers?
Well, first of all, there were the Hebrew legalists.
There were people who were Jewish people, who perhaps believed in Christ, but they really believed that in order to go on in holiness, you had to adhere to the Mosaic Law.
613 commandments in the Mosaic Law.
You had to be circumcised, you had to keep all of these different laws, and that if you would keep all the laws, then you would go into holiness.
Let me just tell you right now, you cannot legislate your way to holiness.
I hear Christians have all these different lists of things that they do and they don't do, and all of these things mean I'm a good Christian.
Well, let me tell you something about your list.
There's a major flaw with it.
If you have a list of all the things that you do or don't do that make you a good Christian, the problem with your list is it's too small.
You didn't list everything on there.
Let me say, the law had one purpose and that was to show us our sin and to bring us into the need of Christ.
That's why God in the law made so many provisions for sacrifices because unholy people who had broken the law of God, how can they approach the Holy God?
But by the atoning sacrifice of a substitute.
And all of that pointed ultimately to Jesus Christ.
So, but you had this faction in the church of people who said, Hey, we got to put rules on everybody so that everybody can be a good Christian like me.
Well, that was a problem.
Then you had, in Colossae, a mixture of something called Gnosticism.
Gnosticism was this... Gnostic means to know.
They were people in the quest for knowledge and they wanted to know more.
In other words, they wanted to go into the deeper realms of the spiritual world and to find themselves in a spiritual perfection.
And so the Gnostics, what they were good at doing was using philosophy, using all sorts of belief systems.
And to the Gnostics, you believing in Christ was just fine.
That's wonderful.
Christ is a good teacher.
He was a good man.
And if you want to believe in Christ, that's wonderful.
He's a good starting point.
But we can take you beyond that, and we can help you to achieve some kind of spiritual achievement.
But I want to tell you, Listen, the problem that they had was, you may be able to go further with Christ, but you cannot go further than Christ.
You cannot go beyond Jesus.
And so what Paul was writing to these Colossians who were in danger of going into false doctrine and into false teaching, Paul was writing them to refocus them on the principal doctrine of the Christian faith, and that is Christ alone.
And I want to tell you today, I believe that believers across this country have lost our focus.
We are focused on everything and anything but the Lord Jesus Christ.
We have our favorite personalities.
We have our favorite teachers.
We've got so many things that we can go to on YouTube and live streaming and we can follow all kinds of different things.
But I want to tell you, we've not been called to follow any teacher.
We've been called to follow Christ.
I've said this to this church many, many times.
Listen, this church only follows pastoral leadership as that pastor follows Christ.
If I step out of the line, you follow Christ.
You're a Christ follower, not a Dean Miller follower.
Amen!
And so, we are to follow Christ.
And Paul was pointing them back to the Gospel.
Let's look at Colossians chapter 1 for just a minute.
In verse number 1, Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, Timotheus our brother, to the saints and the faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colossae, grace be unto you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
We give thanks.
To God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since the day we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and the love which ye have for all the saints.
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, which is come unto you as it is in all the world, and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you since the day ye heard before in the word of truth of the gospel, which is coming to you as it is in all the world and bring it forth fruit as it does also in you since the day ye heard of it and knew the grace of God in truth.
As you also learned of Epaphos, our dear fellow servant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ, who also declared unto you, unto us, your love in the spirit.

We're going to be going back to Pastor Dean Miller from Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado, and his sermon on the Book of Colossians.
I love it, and this is what we need to be grateful for grace.
Let's listen.
Remember about Paul when you read his books is Paul loved long sentences and from verse 3 to verse 8 that was one long sentence Paul Paul had my problem in English class I had a bunch of run-on sentences but Paul just went on and on we're gonna see what Paul is leading these people to understand one of the great miracles of salvation is the cultivation and the new birth of a gratitude attitude.
I'm preaching this morning on this subject and that is gratitude for grace.
What Paul was doing was Paul was going to take this church who was getting off track and get them back on target.
That's our whole study, is to get back on target as a church.
I want to tell you, I told you going into this year, way back in the beginning of the year, that our theme for this year was going to be focus.
That we were going to go, probably because our church was growing and we were going to have to go to two services.
We're living in a day and age where the world has absolutely lost its mind.
Do I have an amen right there?
The world is out of its gourd.
We have lost our mind in every way fathomable.
Then, I knew we were going into an election year, which is just America, who's already crazy, getting even crazier.
And if we're not careful, God's people would get all mixed up in all the things that are going on in the world, and we would lose our focus.
We would lose the focus that we are supposed to have as Christ followers in this world of what God has called us to do.
And so my prayer as your pastor all through this year has been to keep this church laser focused.
And the different changes that we've had to make as a church, as the changes that the culture is going through, the changes that are happening in America, all the turmoil around the world, We better stay focused on the Lord Jesus Christ.
And that's what Paul was doing to these Colossian believers.
I want to show you something that's interesting.
The miracle of grace.
When Paul got saved, grace and salvation cultivates in a believer a gratitude attitude.
You know why that's a miracle?
Because by nature, we are selfish and we are ungrateful.
Is that true?
Go to the nursery today and watch two toddlers fight over one toy.
You put one toy on there, those toddlers are going to beat each other to death with that toy, until they get it.
And one of them is going to get it, and before long, he's just going to lose interest in it, but he's not dare going to let the other kid have it.
Now he's not thankful that he's got it.
He's just glad you don't have it.
Now that's human nature.
That's your nature.
That's my nature.
But there's something about being saved God cultivates in a Christian gratitude.
I want to tell you something right now.
This is an evidence and a fruit of being saved.
There is a gratefulness that happens.
In fact, I want you to see something quickly.
Watch this.
Walk through Colossians with me.
Look at verse 3.
Paul says, we give thanks to God.
Look at verse number 12.
Giving thanks unto the Father which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.
Look at chapter 2 and verse number 7.
Rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith as ye have been taught, abounding therein with Thanksgiving.
Look at chapter 3 in verse 15.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful.
Look at verse 17.
And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.
Look at chapter 4 in verse 2.
Continue in prayer, and watch with the same To Thanksgiving.
Listen, you can see Paul all the way from chapter 1 to chapter 4.
Paul has a gratitude attitude, and he's thanking God, and he's thanking God for what God is doing in the lives of these people.
Now, I want to tell you something.
What makes this a miracle, of this attitude of gratitude that God cultivates in His people, what makes it a miracle is to understand that Paul is writing this epistle from prison.
He is chained to a Roman centurion every hour of every day awaiting his own execution.
Paul knows I'm probably going to be beheaded.
In fact, not long after this, Paul is going to be walking down, but Paul is writing in prison that he is thankful for what God is doing in their lives.
Can I just tell you Christians, listen, we need a revival in gratitude.
We need some young people that can be grateful for their parents.
Grateful for what we have.
We live in one of the richest nations and yet you hear Americans complain.
We riot.
We loot.
We're victims of everything.
We've been oppressed.
Listen, I know that sin happens in this world and bad happens to all people, but I want to tell you, we've had it pretty good.
We're the first in about a hundred years who've ever had the experience of a hot shower every day.
We can go to the store and buy whatever we want.
There are generations of Americans that have never seen a seed put into the ground and pop out and bring forth food.
And yet they eat every day.
They've never had to labor for it.
They've never worked for it.
They have no idea how those french fries got on their table.
Somebody had to plant them.
Somebody had to grow them.
Somebody had to harvest them.
Somebody had to chop them.
Somebody had to ship them.
Somebody had to cook them.
Somebody had to bring them to your table.
And yet we just devour them down and we say, they weren't salty enough.
And we live in the most ingrate of a society, and yet we have great blessings.
God's people need to cultivate, once again, a gratitude attitude and be thankful.
And by the way, not just thankful for what we have, but for God's blessing in others.
Do you know one of the great marks of gratitude is when I can rejoice at what God has done for you, even when He hasn't done it for me?
I mean, you take somebody, drives up in the church parking lot, Their car's got a differential that's not differentialing, and they got spark plugs that aren't firing right, the muffler's rattling, the leaf springs are off.
They don't even have the radio on, but you could dance when they drive by.
Their car's just coming into the parking lot, and they pull in, they barely got here, and as they're getting out of the car, another church member pulls in in a brand new Mercedes and says, man, did you see what the Lord let us get this week?
Now wait a minute.
Paul would have said, man, I'm so thankful for that.
God, thank you for doing this for him.
Man, I'm happy for you.
But in the body today, you know what happens?
We forget that we're members one of another.
When God blesses you and strengthens you, that's a help to me.
When God gives a blessing to somebody else, sometimes we want to say, well God, how come not me?
Listen, envy and jealousy and strife and contention has no place in the body.
We ought to rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep, bear one another's burdens, and listen, we're members one of another.
And Paul, chained to a centurion in a Roman jail is saying, I am so thankful for what's happened to you.
This is the miracle of grace.
Paul had a great attitude of gratitude.
What was Paul thankful for?
Let's look at it quickly.
Look at verse number 5.
Paul said, "...for the hope that is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, which is come unto you as it is in all the world, and bringeth forth fruit as it doth also in you since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth." As you also learned of Epiphras, our dear fellow servant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ.
Listen to what Paul was thankful for.
Look at verse 5.
He said, or verse 6, which is, Come unto you.
You know what Paul was thankful for?
Paul was thankful that the gospel had been brought to them.
Paul was thankful the gospel had been brought to Colossae.
This little town, a rural area, in a tri-city area, in a mix of all the trade and all the cultures going east to west in that world, on one of the main highways of that known world, there was the gospel that invaded Colossae and a New Testament church was formed.
Can I tell you why that's such a blessing?
Because the gospel is not native to your city.
The Gospel is not native to your home.
In fact, the Gospel is not an original thing.
It didn't originate on Earth.
The Gospel was something that had to be brought to us.
And Paul was thankful that in the mix of all the philosophies and cultures and customs of the world, that the Gospel had invaded Colossae.
When's the last time, those of you that are saved, you just gave God thanks that the Gospel was brought to you?
Who was instrumental in bringing the Gospel to you?
How did the Gospel get to your house?
How do you, today, sit in a church with a Bible in your lap, listening to hymns, and having the Holy Spirit living in your heart, having your sins forgiven, and your life eternal, on your way to Heaven, knowing Christ?
How did that happen to you?
That was the grace of God.
I'll tell you how it happened to me.
The Gospel came to me.
Even before I was born, God had a plan.
Let me tell you what happened in my life.
There was a man by the name of Bill Wickham who left the comforts of his home in Denver and went to Deer Lodge, Montana to start a church.
Bill Wickham had to work a second job as he started that church, and so he got a job at the Chevrolet garage.
He was working for Chevrolet as a grease monkey there in Deer Lodge, Montana, and he worked alongside of a young man, 26 years old, who was a drunk.
A 26-year-old man, Who was losing his family.
That man's wife, who already had three children and was expecting a fourth, had just filed for divorce and had left him and was living with her sister.
And Bill Wickham began to witness to that drunk man and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with him.
And that man, my daddy, tore up gospel tracts and threw them back in Bill Wickham's face and said, you listen to me, buddy.
I'm a Catholic.
I was born a Catholic.
I'll die a Catholic.
I don't want your religion.
And Bill Wickham persisted, and prayed, and loved my daddy.
And while my mother and father were divorced, or going through a divorce, and while they were separated, my mother gave birth to that fourth baby, who was born with a hole in his heart, and lived for just a little over a month, and then he died.
And here's this young couple without God, without hope, Burying their little baby, not knowing what the future would hold.
And when my daddy walked in the Chevrolet garage, Bill Wickham met him with a tear in his eye and said, Dean, I can't imagine what you're going through.
I love you.
I've prayed for you.
I want to share some good news with you.
And he gave him a gospel track.
What must I do to be saved?
Written by Dr. John Rice.
My dad read that track and Bill Wickham led my daddy to Christ.
He led my mother to Christ.
He counseled them and helped them restore their marriage.
He got them discipled in October of that year, 1965.
He baptized my mom and daddy in a lake in Montana, frozen, had to chip the ice out to baptize my mom and daddy.
And I want to tell you how he began to help them and grow.
And then years later, I was born.
And as a little boy, my mom and dad began to raise me up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and share the Gospel with me so that at five years old, I could understand the Gospel and my need to be saved.
I want to tell you, I am thankful that in my life, the Gospel came to us.
How did the Gospel get to you?
Who had the courage to share it with you?
This is all about grace.
Paul was thankful that the Gospel had been brought to them.
How did the Gospel get to Colossae?
Well, I'll tell you how.
Paul led Epaphus to Christ in Ephesus.
The Gospel came to Epaphus and he got saved.
And then, instead of staying with Paul and enjoying Paul's ministry, he moved on and said, I'm going to go back home and take this Gospel to my family.
He had the good news.
What is the gospel?
It is the good news.
What is the good news?
Let me tell you what the gospel good news is.
The good news is that Jesus Christ has, once and for all, solved the universal problem of sin.
Through His death, through His burial, through His resurrection, He has defeated it.
Listen to me, Jesus died on that cross of Calvary being made sin for me.
He became my sin and went to that cross and He was buried.
And brother listen, He went into that grave dead.
And I can just see that little conversation between the old devil And between death, and Satan says, hey death, do you have him?
And death says, I've got him.
He died at Calvary.
I've got him.
He's dead.
And Satan said, well where's corruption?
Get corruption in here.
Get corruption in here.
We've got to corrupt this body.
And he said, I've got him.
Corruption's on his way.
Don't worry.
And so day two came, and I could see the old devil.
Hey death, do you still got him?
I still have him.
He's still dead.
Where's corruption?
I don't know.
He hasn't come yet.
Get him here.
Get corruption here.
And I can see on day three, as that sun begins to rise, I can see the devil saying, death, do you have him?
And death is saying, I don't know.
Where's corruption?
I can't hold him much longer.
And out of that grave, Jesus came.
And listen, he stood out of those grave clothes.
He was alive.
He had conquered hell.
He had conquered sin.
He had conquered the grave.
And he was walking out of the tomb.
But one more thing, he had to grab the old devil, and he took that heel that was bruised at Calvary, and he crushed the serpent's head.
And on the way out, he said, I'll take those.
And he took the keys of hell and death, and he took them with him, and Jesus conquered.
That's the good news of the Gospel.
And that came to Colossae.
Alright, so there's Pastor Dean Miller just giving an amazing sermon.

This is what's most important, folks, is remembering Jesus Christ, the sacrifice made, the eternal salvation that we've been given, and the hope that is, that therein lies.

We're going right back to Pastor Dean Miller's sermon from Colossians.
This is in Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Let's hear more from Pastor Dean Miller.
How did he get there?
He got there because Epaphras heard it and he shared it with them.
Do you know that one of your first responsibilities when the gospel comes to you is to take it home?
In Mark chapter 5 and verse 19, Jesus meets that man that's full of demons.
He's naked.
He's cut himself.
He's been chained, living in the tombs.
He's a wild man, and Jesus meets him.
And by the time Jesus leaves him, listen, that man is clothed, he's sitting, and he's in his right mind.
And Jesus is about to leave, and that man whose life was a wreck and a ruin says to Jesus, Can I go with you?
And in Mark chapter 5 and verse 19, Jesus says, No.
You go home to your friends and tell them how great things the Lord has done for you and have had compassion on you.
The first thing Jesus did to that man was say, listen, you go home and you be a witness.
I want to tell you, church, Christians are to be witnesses.
Some Christians are really good at being the prosecuting attorney.
We're really good at making a case and pointing out how wrong everybody else is.
I've had a few in our churches through the years that have been great prosecuting attorneys.
But we are not the prosecuting attorneys and we're not the judge.
I'll tell you what our job is in the court.
We are witnesses to stand and testify.
All I know is I was one way in my sin and in my shame and then I met Jesus Christ and He forgave me and changed me and all I can tell you is come meet a man who can change you and give you new life.
That's the Christian witness.
And we're to take that home.
Let me just say this very quickly.
You have a responsibility to that.
And when you share the Gospel, let me give you some things that Paul was thankful that it came to them this way.
First of all, it came to them with a focus on Jesus Christ.
The Gospel is not based on anything but Jesus Christ alone.
There is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved.
Listen to me, you're not saved by getting baptized.
You're not saved by taking communion.
You're not saved by joining a church.
You're not saved by living a good life.
You're saved by one person and his name is Jesus.
So when you share the Gospel, present to people Christ and Christ alone.
Paul was thankful that when they received the Gospel, not only did they receive the Gospel focused on Christ, but they received it of the Word of Truth.
Look at this very quickly.
Look at verse 4, "...since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus." Verse number 5, "...for the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the Word of the truth of the Gospel." Listen to me, church.
When you give the Gospel, you take them to the Word of Truth.
There is power and life in the Scripture.
Jesus said in John 17, 17, Thy Word is truth.
In John 14, 6, He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life.
In John 16, 13, He said, And when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth.
Listen to me.
Listen to me.
The Word is truth.
Christ is truth.
The Spirit is truth.
We have the truth.
We're to share the truth.
Satan is a liar and a deceiver.
And the whole world lies in the deception of Satan.
And the only thing that will set men free is they will know the truth and the truth will set them free.
And the truth is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Now there are many things outside of the Bible that are true.
There are many philosophies and principles and things that are outside the Bible that are true.
But none of them are the truth.
The word of God is the truth because it is the standard of truth.
It is the arbiter of truth.
It is the truth.
So He gave them the Word of Truth.
And then I'll tell you this, He gave them the message of grace.
Paul was thankful that Epaphras had brought a focus on Jesus Christ and His death and burial and resurrection, and that He gave them to them in the Word of Truth.
But I want to tell you something, it was the message of grace.
Look at verse number 6, "...which has come to you as it is in all the world, and bringeth forth fruit." As it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God." In what, Church?
In truth.
Now there are two words in the Bible that get mixed up, and I'm going to close with this in just a minute.
There are two words in the Bible that get mixed up.
Mercy and grace.
They are not the same.
Mercy is when you don't get what you do deserve.
That's mercy.
When you deserve something and you don't get that, that's mercy.
I was speeding one night and I'm open confession here.
I was speeding and I got pulled over.
The officer came to my window and he said, where are you going in such a hurry?
And I said, sir, I said, I'm a Baptist pastor.
And I got a bunch of Baptist church members.
Therefore, I'm always in a hurry.
I got somewhere to go and something to do.
And not only that, I have a wife and three daughters.
I'm always in a hurry.
I got to go get something.
Somebody's out of something somewhere and I got to go buy it.
So I just hurry all the time and it's sin and I'm wrong and I broke the speed limit and I'm guilty.
I confess it.
I'm sorry.
I said, I deserve a ticket.
He said, you do.
And he went to his car.
A few minutes later, he came back up and he handed me this and he said, this is a formal warning.
Slow down.
And I said, sir, thank you.
And he said, listen, I'm only going to give you mercy this once.
Now I want to tell you something.
The Bible says that the Lord's mercies are new every morning.
He does not give me what I deserve.
If I got what I deserve today, I would be in hell.
And so would you.
That's the mercy of God.
But I want to say something.
There's the grace of God.
What is the grace of God?
The grace of God is when you get what you don't deserve.
And I think this is the message that Paul was pointing these Colossians back to because here's the subtlety of Satan.
We get saved and then Satan begins to work in the hearts of believers, making us to think, well, of course I'm saved.
Why wouldn't God save me?
I mean, look at me.
I mean, I'm pretty good.
I'm better than that guy.
And all of a sudden we become the Pharisee who stands and says, God, thank you that I'm not like those people.
Sometimes we begin to get a sense, though, that we're worthy of salvation.
We are sinners saved by one thing, and that is the grace of God, that God has given to us what we do not deserve.
If you would really ever think about your sin before a holy God, and why would God love a sinner such as I?
It is the grace of God.
There was a man by the name of John Seldon who lived from 1584 to 1654.
He was a great historian.
John Seldon was a legal authority in England.
It was very rare in his days, but his library contained 8,000 volumes.
When he was dying, he made this statement.
John Seldon said, I have surveyed most of the learning among the sons of men.
And my study is filled with books and manuscripts on varieties of subjects from across the world.
But at this present moment, I cannot recollect any passage out of all my books and papers whereon I can rest my soul save from one sacred scripture.
The grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared unto all men.
John Selden said, in all of my learning, it matters not what I know, what I do know, the only thing that gives me rest is that God has given me grace.
Can I tell you something, church?
You've been saved by the grace of God, for by grace are you saved through faith.
Don't you ever think for one minute you earned it, or you deserved it, or you're worthy of it?
That God Himself would be humbled Alright, we're going to come back.
We're going to wrap it up.
you and me.
And I want you to remember something very clearly about this grace.
Look at verse six and we're closing.
All right, we're going to come back.
We're going to wrap it up.

We're going right back to that sermon from Pastor Dean Miller, but before we do, a quick bit of breaking news for anybody out there listening.
The Director of the Secret Service, Kim Cheadle, has officially resigned.
She has officially resigned, so just take that and do with it what you will, but let's go back to Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon from Colossians on grace and mercy.
Which has come to you as it is in all the world.
Listen to me very carefully.
What Paul was thankful for was that this gospel was good for Colossae, but it's good for the whole world.
You know, we have a cancer that is eating in modern day Christianity, where there are people who believe that God somehow just arbitrarily just chooses who will be saved and who won't be saved.
And that nothing matters because God is the one who's going to divvy out who he's going to save.
In fact, I've heard it explained like a man who's in the woods and he comes to a stream and there's ten apples bobbing along down the stream about to go over a waterfall.
God is like a man in the woods who just looks down and says, I'll take that apple and I'll take that apple and I'll take this apple and I'll take that apple and let the rest just go on to destruction.
That God is just somehow looking over men, and He is saying, I'll take this one, and I'll take that one.
That is not what Paul believes at all.
If you look at Colossians chapter 1 and verse 23, Paul says, If you continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven.
In verse number 28, he said, Whom we preach, speaking of Christ, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ.
Let me tell you something, Paul had an every man, whole world, whosoever will understanding of the Gospel.
God is sovereign in the sense that God has said, there's only one way, and my way, that you're going to come to me, is through Jesus Christ alone, plus nothing.
But then He turns and says, whosoever will, may come.
The fact that the Gospel came to these people at Colossae was the grace of God, that they had heard the message of salvation.
But what a wonderful thing, that God will save anybody.
False teachers don't take their message to everybody.
False teachers find people who've heard the gospel, and they come to them, and they want to change their minds and sway them from that.
They're not looking for their own converts.
They're not out trying to evangelize the world.
They're trying to go and reach the people who've already been reached.
And Paul was going into every place, to all the world, to preach the gospel of the grace of God.
One old preacher said, if you could give one gift, That was suitable for the entire world at every time.
What would that gift be?
Think about it.
If you could give a gift that would fit every person of the world, as long as the world would stand, what's the one gift that would be suitable, the only thing really worthy of the whole world?
Well, what would you give?
Would it be books?
Well, that's not a great gift because not everybody can read.
Would you give food?
That's not necessarily a gift suitable for the whole world.
Some already have it.
Others may not, but not everybody eats the same thing.
Some can't eat certain types of food, so food wouldn't be the gift that could be suitable for the whole world.
Would it be clothing?
Well, that would be a difficult gift for the whole world since everybody is in a different climate.
Would it be money?
That's not a suitable gift for the whole world because not everybody has a need for money.
There's only one gift that is fitting for all the world.
And that is the gift of eternal life.
And God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
There's only one gift today that you need and I need.
I can give you money and you can go to hell rich like the rich man in Luke chapter 16.
I can give you clothing and you can go to hell dressed in all of your fine clothing like the rich man in Luke chapter 16.
I can give you food and you can be like the rich man in Luke chapter 16 who fared sumptuously every day.
You can have everything the world has to offer you.
You can gain the whole world and lose your own soul.
But I want to tell you something.
I want to tell you what gift that you need today.
That's the gift of eternal life.
And if you have it, you ought to be so grateful that the grace of God came to you.
And that you believed it, and that you've received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
And if you haven't received Him, today is the day of salvation.
The gratitude of grace, that grace has come to all men, and you have an opportunity to reject it or to receive it.
God has done everything for you to be saved, but He will not believe for you.
He is calling for all men everywhere to repent and believe.
Maybe today you think, well, I think I'm a pretty good person.
Well, compare yourself with Jesus Christ, who was the fulfillment of all the law of God.
Are you that good?
And if the answer is no, then I want to tell you, you have fallen short of the glory of God.
And because of that, you're a sinner and the wages of sin is death.
Death passed upon all men for that all have sinned, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
You can be saved today.
Our heads are bowed, our eyes are closed for just a moment.
Our Heavenly Father, I say with Paul, thanks be unto God for this unspeakable gift.
Thank you for the gift of grace.
Oh Lord, I pray that we would take the gift of grace and we would receive it.
Lord, you said in John chapter 1 that you came to your own, but your own received you not.
But as many as received you, to them gave you power to become the sons of God.
Lord, there is a gift today in which we can be born again by receiving a new life in Jesus Christ.
And not by works, not by church membership, but by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our heads are bowed, our eyes are closed.
All right, amen and amen.

But again, a reminder that the big breaking news story now is that the Director of the Secret Service, Kim Cheadle, has resigned.
Uh, if you want my quick opinion on it, I'll take essentially this.
They want us to forget.
They want us to take it and move on.
They want us to say, okay, well, it was this woman's fault that Donald Trump almost got killed.
And don't look anything more into it.
Don't look at all the, you know, weird irregularities.
Don't look at the different theories about how many shooters were there.
Don't look at the fact that they tried to assassinate the, president and leading candidate in the next election uh just just ignore that and and understand that that it was just an incompetent person who let it happen so that's what i think of that but we're in the book of psalms where god god's grace is greater segment and uh today is no We're going to stick there and go to Psalm 115, talking about glory to God alone.
It says, not us, not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name, give glory because of your faithful love because of your truth.
Why should the nation say, where is their God?
Our God is in heaven and does whatever He pleases.
Their idols are silver and gold made by human hands.
They have mouths but cannot speak, eyes but cannot see.
They have ears but cannot hear, noses but cannot smell.
They have hands but cannot feel, feet but cannot walk.
They cannot make a sound with their throats.
Those who make them are just like them, as are all who trust in them.
Israel, trust in the Lord.
He is the help.
He is their help and shield.
House of Aaron, trust in the Lord.
He is their help and shield.
You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord.
He is their help and shield.
The Lord remembers us and will bless us.
He will bless the House of Israel, the House of Aaron, and He will bless those who fear the Lord, small and great alike.
May the Lord add to your numbers, both yours and your children's.
May you be blessed by the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.
The heavens are the Lord's, but the earth he has given to the human race.
It is not the dead who praise the Lord, nor any of those descending into the silence of death, but we will praise the Lord, both now and forever.

And that just reminds me that we must give praise and glory to the Lord.
We must honor and glorify his name and make sure that every day we get up with that thankfulness in our heart.
I mean, there's one thing that, you know, we could take away from that sermon that we just heard from Pastor Dean Miller and from just the events of the last few days is that every day is a blessing.
And no matter how bad things get here on this earth, we have a father in heaven who loves us, who loved us so much that he sent his one and only son to die for us so that we may live with him in eternity, sinless and blameless.
And that's the most amazing gift of all.
And if you haven't accepted that gift, I want you to do something for me today.
If you're ready, God has spoken to your heart.
I want you to open your heart, say a prayer, repent of your sin, call the name of Jesus Christ, and watch what He does.
Because I've seen it myself, and I know great things are in store for those who believe.
Jeremiah 29-11 is a future and a hope.
For us all.
