The truth.
It is the middle ground between light and shadow, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge.
This is Just Informed Talk Radio, where we are not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is God's power for salvation to everyone who believes.
I don't know why.
It doesn't even matter how hard you try.
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme to explain in due time.
All I know, time is a valuable thing.
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings.
Watch it count down to the end of the day.
The clock ticks like it weighs so unreal.
Then look out below.
Watch the time go right out the window.
All I know, time is a valuable thing.
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings.
Watch it count down to the end of the day.
The clock takes life away.
It's so unreal.
Didn't look out below.
Watch the time go right out the window.
Trying to hold on, but you didn't even know.
Wasted it all just to watch you go.
I kept everything inside, and even though I tried.
Welcome back to another Just Informed talk radio show.
I'm your host, Craig James.
Hope you guys are having a wonderful day.
We're going to be diving into a lot of stories today.
Of course, one of the biggest stories so far from the last 24 hours is Donald Trump picking his VP.
We know it is now J.D.
Vance.
We're going to talk a little bit about J.D.
Vance's background, his history, and his past.
Which is a very sorted one, given what we are finding out about him.
You know, we already knew a lot of this stuff, but it's all kind of resurfacing now, so we'll talk about it and kind of get some perspective on it.
We're also going to talk a little bit more about the newer information coming out surrounding the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, and we're going to get into some details surrounding that and other stories as well.
Also, Today, I hope you guys are ready.
We're going to play that sermon that we didn't play yesterday on today's show, which is Pastor Dean Miller preaching from the book of Colossians.
This is from Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado, which is an amazing church.
I hope you guys come down and check it out, but we'll be listening to his sermon, a powerful sermon on the book of Colossians.
You're going to want to stay tuned for, but One thing I want to address at the beginning of the show here.
Yesterday, you know, we had our normal show, but we had a few special guests who joined us.
We had a lot of you guys call in and a lot of, you know, ideas getting thrown around, which were, you know, interesting.
And I tried to be as respectful as I could to any and all opinions.
I'm not here to tell you what to believe.
I'm here to tell you what I think.
And then you are to be the judge on what you believe.
I don't sit here and tell everybody this is what you have to believe, this is the ultimate truth and there is no other truth.
That is for you to decide, but it always fascinates me when you get people Who are, you know, shocked when you disagree with them.
And if you don't go along with what their fantasy or delusion is, then they get angry and they they lash out at you and they will, you know, accuse you of doing things that you never did because of their own insecurity.
We had that happen yesterday.
One of our listeners was very upset about the fact that I Disagreed with their theory regarding the fake assassination attempt.
Now, I'm going to respond to it, not just because, you know, this person lashed out and they obviously are very insecure about their own beliefs.
That's why they can't handle any pushback, kind of like a typical Democrat, which is what we'll play a clip from here in a minute.
But more overly, I want to just point out that the Blue Anon fake assassination attempt conspiracy theory Is gaining a lot of traction, except it's gaining a lot of traction on the opposite side of the aisle.
A lot of Democrats are in favor of this theory, and I'll just put it this way.
Look.
Hey, if you can't take any pushback on your theory, right, that you believe is true to the point where it hurts your feelings so much that you have to lash out like a little child, you know, that's your problem, not mine.
So if that is what causes you to have a breakdown and, you know, maybe drink a little too much and say a bunch of really crazy things, then perhaps you have a problem, not me.
And second of all, here's the thing.
I'm going to play for you a clip.
This is the blue and on conspiracy theorist out there in California.
This guy did a, he walked around the streets of California in a beach town near LA and he asked a bunch of people what they thought about the assassination attempt.
I want you to listen to this and then I want you to ask yourself, What's more likely?
That the Blue Anon conspiracy theorists who say Trump used a ketchup pack and it was all faked?
That they're right?
Which, you know, look, I don't know for 100% fact that it was real, but let's just say I'm fairly certain in my assessment.
However, you know, you be the judge.
This is what the left has been pushing now, and it sounded a lot like people who claim to be conservatives who are pushing the same thing.
Listen to this.
Oh, it's a false flag.
False flag?
Yeah, false flag.
People, somebody died and two people injured?
What do you think about that?
False flag.
False flag.
I thought it was magnificently staged.
It was professionally done.
It almost looked real.
Wait, wait, wait.
Staged by who?
Oh, by Mr. Trump, of course.
I think this whole thing is staged.
You think it was staged?
Yeah.
It depends on everybody's view.
Yeah.
View of the assassination attempt?
What do you think?
Does it kind of depend on where you're standing, whether or not you agree with the assassination attempt or disagree with it?
I just don't see that being the truth, but that's my—I'd rather just not make any comments.
Really quick, what do you call it, the truth?
What do you mean?
Oh, you just don't believe it was an assassination attempt?
No, no.
Please don't.
We're so anti-Trump, I don't even want to say anything.
Was it a bad thing, though?
I mean... Was it a bad thing?
Would you condemn it?
Oh, that he got shot?
Of course!
Of course you don't do that!
Yeah, that's really bad.
Yeah, exactly, you don't do that.
Was it staged, probably.
Staged?
Okay, so you think Trump maybe staged a fake assassination for support?
Okay.
And that resulted in somebody dying and other people being critically injured?
I haven't seen the news today.
I'm not here for the news.
I haven't seen anything.
I'm on vacation.
So you just thought it was fake?
Of course.
One person died in the crowd, two critically injured.
What happened there?
It wouldn't matter to Trump.
Do you think he cares that people died for him to be elected?
Death doesn't mean anything to Trump.
Now staged from whose side?
Do you think Donald Trump staged it for attention?
Could be, or it could be the other side trying to make a scene or something, but I don't, the fact that he only got his ear and he like stood up and said America, I don't know, come on.
Right.
It doesn't feel normal.
What is our evidence for suggesting that it was a staged, a fake assassination attempt?
I think that he walked away alive with perhaps a scratch on his ear.
Yeah, it grazed his ear.
Yeah, yeah.
Of course, you know, behind the scenes they were That was all fabricated.
Some noise.
They put a little scratch on his ear.
Threw a little blood on his face.
Now, so you think that they planned from 130 yards away to shoot off the corner of his ear?
They never shot off the corner of his ear.
That was all done by the people hanging around him.
Nobody ever shot off his ear.
Okay, okay, so you just see it grazing his ear as maybe not, you know, maybe not real.
What about the people that died, what about the father that died in the stand as well as the others that were critically injured?
I don't know, I'm not, I can't tell, but to me it just looks like it was planned and bless that guy's soul for dying for this cause.
I'm so sorry for that person's family.
So do you think—I mean, if we're thinking that the Trump—I mean, that's a big thing to think, is that Donald Trump's administration faked an assassination, got people killed to try to do this.
What is our—what would you say our reasoning is for saying that, or we have no reasoning?
Just the feeling.
I haven't paid attention to anything right now, because that's not where my mind is at right now.
So, as of right now, I just, like I said, I don't even want to talk about it!
If we're not paying attention, is the right move to say that Donald Trump staged the assassination and faked an assassination against himself?
Is that the right move?
Or is the right move just to say, I don't know?
I'm just gonna say, I don't know, I'm on vacation.
Oh, well, you know, you're against fake news, Donald.
How about against being against all this other fake crap that you pull?
If Trump is involved, it's a fraud.
That was like a powerful moment.
Yep.
Well, there's our good old liberal friends out in California.
That's what they believe happened.
It was all fake and staged.
And, uh, you know, I honestly I have no time for morons.
So, um, you can believe it was fake.
That's fine.
Maybe it was.
I'll put my hand up if it was.
Nah, I don't see it.
I don't see anything even remotely close to that.
I actually see the opposite.
I see that they missed and that they wanted to blow the brains out of the back of his skull.
So stay tuned, we're coming back.

Welcome back to Just Form Talk Radio, and I'm your host, Craig James.
We have a lot of news to cover here today.
We're going to get into it all.
You know, it's funny to have an audience, right, where you have people who disagree with you and they lash out, and it's just like, alright.
You know, take it all with a grain of salt.
You know, you're never going to be able to please everybody.
And sometimes people are angry because you don't agree with every little thing they say.
It's kind of hilarious.
Especially when those people tell you, I'm never listening again.
And then they're listening to you as you speak in your next show.
And you're like, Oh, okay, I see what's going on here.
You guys are pretty pathetic, but hey, that's okay.
That's okay, because it takes all kinds, right?
And, you know, we here at Just Informed Talk Radio are always willing to let everybody listen, you know, keep tuning in even if you're just listening hatefully to In spite of me, right?
You're going to keep listening and that's that's fine with me.
So we're going to get into some other stories here.
I really do want to get through some other interesting things.
First off, day one at the RNC was completely filled with satanic chants and multiple prayers to false gods.
Which, what would you expect from, I mean, would you expect anything less from our good friends at the Republican National Convention?
I know, you know, Trump's daughter's taken over, but here's the thing.
You're never going to get rid of this sentiment among Republicans that, you know, our Christian morals and values don't, should not, or shouldn't be superseding to all these other, you know, false belief systems.
And that's because the people who are running the show The real people running the show, the big donors and everything else, they don't necessarily entirely believe in God.
They aren't trying to restore this nation back to its Christian foundations.
They're merely trying to create these, you know, the same thing the left is doing, creating this inclusivity, diversity, and equity Crap, which is only going to lead to destruction.
Case in point here, we have this lady opening up the RNC with presumably Christians in the crowd all praying along with this incantation to a demonic spirit.
Here we go.
This is the RNC folks.
Dear Waheguru, our one true God, we thank you for creating America as a unique haven on this earth where all people are free to worship according to their faith.
Oh, okay.
I mean, that sounds good and all, except when you realize that the Wahi Guru, which is a pagan genderless idol that they refer to as the One True God during an opening ceremony in the RNC, is a complete and total It's just completely disgusting to me.
And I mean, you know, look, this is why I say I'm not a Republican and I'm not a Democrat.
I don't identify with any of these people.
I mean, I'm a Christian conservative, but I am not a Republican because this is what Republicanism looks like in 2024.
Let's open our ceremony with, you know, the incantation of pagan demonic idols and, you know, the path to hell is paved with all kinds of good intentions, right?
So, this is what we get when we allow our country to continue to slip further away from God.
And the further we get from God, the less we should be surprised that this is, in fact, what you're going to see.
I mean, it's really sad, sad, sad to me that this is how far we've gone away from Jesus Christ.
But that's just part of the course these days, you know, these modern, a lot of the, no offense to everybody out there, but a lot of these boomer conservatives, Republicans, saying, oh, you know, separation of church and state, we're just trying to be an open platform and bring in as many people as we can.
It's like, no.
This is literally exactly what the Bible teaches us not to do, right?
I mean, we are to go to all nations, we are to preach the gospel to them, not have them preach to us through prayer, have incantations to their demonic idols that we all join in on.
That's literally exactly the opposite of what the Bible says to do.
So, as we're all standing there, and not we, but the collective we, as in the people at the RNC, are standing there, you know, bowed heads, folded hands, you know, praying to Waheguru, we should all be very careful to understand that, you know, the further we get away from God in this nation, the worse things are going to get.
Right?
And, you know, we can have all these conversations, and it only will lead to more infighting, but, you know, Jesus said in Scripture that He didn't come to unite, He came to divide.
And, you know, He didn't come to bring peace, but rather to bring a sword, and He would turn, you know, Families against one another, because there would be such disagreement over the nature of the true Messiah.
And that's the truth!
You either are following Jesus, and you are, you know, as I am, sickened by this whole display of satanic paganism, pagan worshipping, in our own nation's quote-unquote Christian conservative party, or you're just, you know, aloof to it, and not paying attention.
Or just thinking it's harmless.
No, it's not harmless, guys.
It's not harmless.
And, you know, you can say whatever you want.
You know, the big talking point now that they're using on all the fake news talk shows, the late night talk shows that, you know, are comedy news shows, which are just satirical, so they lie and they get away with it.
They're saying it's Christo-fascist.
Oh, we gotta stop the Christo-fascists trying to take over this country.
You know, I hear that term, and I wonder what's in these people's hearts, because, I mean, I can pretty well guess what's in their hearts when they say things like Christo-fascist, and they use it pejoratively, which, you know, attaching anything to Christ or Christianity is
One thing that they're very good at doing, they want to try to say, it's fascist for us to go back to Christian morality.
It's fascist for us as a nation to submit and bend the knee to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ alone.
It's fascist for us to want, you know, to rid ourselves of these demonic, pagan influences, these satanic influences that draw us away from Scripture.
Right?
But then in the same breath they'll say if you don't have a fascistic adherence to their ideology of DEI inclusive unity of the thought and you know their ideology then you're basically Hitler and Stalin and you're racist and you're this evil evil entity.
So it is a battle of competing factions and those factions have one Singular motive.
The faction, I should say, on the other side of the aisle has one motive, and that is to push us away from God.
Then there's people on our side who are trying to push us toward God.
And then it's up to you to decide which side you're on at this point.
Because, just like with the Trump assassination and all this other stuff, we're not going to force you to think anything.
You can believe what you want.
You can go out and worship a street lamp if you want.
You know?
You can believe that they use ketchup packs to shoot Trump's ear off.
This stuff doesn't bother me at all.
Like, I don't care what you believe, other than I care In the way that I've been instructed to care according to scripture meaning I understand that our eternal souls are at stake mine and yours so my desire is for you to see the truth and I will work hard to make that as abundantly clear to you as I possibly can and in
That, I'm very firm.
But, as Jesus said at some point, we kick the dust off our sandals and we move on because there's great work to be done in spreading the gospel.
Okay?
And that's what I focus on.
So you can, you know, you can believe whatever you want about this crazy, fallen, corrupt, broken world.
Doesn't really bother me.
It doesn't, it really, like the fact that you take it all so seriously and you ignore the truth of the gospel or you ignore the fact that that's superseding to it all, that tells me more about you than, you know, anything else.
If you think that all of these things matter so much so that they somehow are superstitions, then I don't want to have anything.
Be gone.
Get away from me.
Get behind me, Satan.
I don't need it.
Okay?
Because I'm here to do one thing, and that's spread the Gospel.
And the way I help people awaken to the truth of the Gospel is to show them how they've been lied to by the things of this world.
Right?
And that's just a simple way I've found works over the years.
It's the way God has influenced me, inspired me to go and spread the gospel for Him.
You can hate me.
You can love me.
I don't care.
I don't want you to remember my name.
I don't want you to remember this show.
I don't want you to remember this radio station or anything else.
I want you to remember one name, and that's Jesus Christ.
Do you remember that name?
You can say what you want about me.
You can call me a liar.
You can call me a Christo-fascist.
You can do whatever you want.
But if you, and at the end of the day, believe in Jesus, that's all I care about.
So, that's my opinion on that.
But speaking of satanic stuff, we have Jack Black.
Who is an open and avowed Satanist, folks, in case you were wondering.
He had a concert, I believe it was yesterday or the day before, and in this concert, they, you know, sing about Satan.
That's his whole band.
If you don't know, go look it up.
Jack Black, the lovable Kung Fu Panda actor you've played for your kids, right?
Is an avowed satanist who has a satanic band that sings songs about worshiping the devil for children.
He was having a concert the other day and I guess there was an exchange on stage where his band member was having a birthday and he gave him a cake and then he asked for him to make a wish and he made the wish that basically the shooter hadn't missed and that he had killed Trump.
Right?
That was his wish.
Okay.
Am I surprised?
No, because I've told you guys here on the show before, Jack Black is a Satanist.
He openly worships the devil.
So, you know, there's that.
But then beyond that, There wasn't much being said for the last 24 hours since it happened until this morning when I woke up and I saw this.
Jack Black actually put this on his page saying quote, I was blindsided by what was said at the show on Sunday.
I would never condone hate speech or encourage political violence in any form.
After much reflection, I no longer feel it is appropriate to continue the Tenacious D tour and all future creative plans are on hold.
I'm grateful to the fans for their support and understanding.
So, you know, we can we can pray and hope that Jack Black's had a change of heart and that he will find Jesus Christ in his heart, that he will reject the satanic Things that he has embraced for so long and promoted for so long but
You judge a tree by its fruits, and when I hear this hollow apology after he receives a mountain of backlash for essentially calling for the leading presidential candidate to have been murdered in the United States during his live show where he's again promoting satanic ideologies and themes and music that promotes and worships the devil, I find it all very hollow.
I find it all a very strategic move to protect his career.
It's fascinating to me, though, that in a majority Christian nation, a man like Jack Black can become so famous with an avowed and open belief in Satan and a promotion of Satan and satanic music and images and ideologies that People just choose to ignore because he's funny?
You know, I never got that.
I never understood the whole actor thing where people are like, well, they're just acting.
Meanwhile, they're basically, you know, engaging in pornography and reenacting violence and reenacting satanic ritualism.
But they're just acting, guys.
Just actors, you know?
They don't really believe it.
Well, I think from Jack Black's example, we know that he really does believe it, because he sings about it, and he says it, and he says it in open interviews, and other Hollywood people do as well.
So look, you know, keep following the stars, and see where that gets you.
I'm following Jesus Christ.
All right, stay tuned.

Welcome back to Just One Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
And, you know, we're going to talk a little bit about JDB Vance as Trump's VP nominee, and we'll just get into some of the information about him.
You know, there are people out there who have strong stances toward, strong feelings toward J.D.
Vance, one way or the other.
I think I said at one point on the show, I'm sort of agnostic toward him not really pro or anti i i see him as you know kind of another milquetoast guy that isn't going to be really uh hardcore enough for me at least with regard to what needs to happen
And I do see a danger with anybody who's not really on board with the whole America First agenda.
First of all, from the perspective, not just like... I think that a lot of these people we have are, for the most part, good Christian men.
in whatever regard that that they have their faith but then in the same breath you know they'll do things that then you know again you judge a tree by its fruits and their fruit is is not matching with what they pretend to be and that's just that's that's concerning right and we have a few different reactions We have one side that's saying, yes, J.D.
Vance is an outsider who Trump picked, and he was, you know, he's this guy who's just going to do well.
Tucker Carlson put it this way.
Let's listen to Tucker Carlson describe what J.D.
Vance is.
J.D.
Vance is the VP pick, and I think every person who pays close attention has got to be thrilled by that.
And if you don't know much about J.D.
Vance, I'm not even going to make a case for J.D.
Vance.
I'm going to tell you what I just saw, which is that every bad person I've ever met in a lifetime in Washington was aligned against J.D.
Vance.
And I do think the negative case is often more powerful.
Because I know of myself, I do not think I'm a particularly good person.
I have strong reasons for feeling that way.
I don't always think that my side is right.
I know for a fact I have been wrong many, many times.
And I hope to correct and be honest about my error.
So it's not like I think that, you know, I'm always, you know, God's always on my side.
Sometimes I'm not on God's side.
But I definitely know who's representing the other side.
It's a lot easier to tell who the people who are only in it because they like, I don't know, killing other people in pointless wars.
Like, I know who those people are.
And their odor is so powerful that I can smell one when he walks in the room.
And every single one of those people in a line that would extend from Milwaukee to Chicago was lined up over the last week to knife J.D.
Vance.
Not on personal grounds.
I mean, he's a perfectly nice guy.
He's like one of the only members of the Senate with a happy marriage.
True.
But because they thought he would be harder to manipulate and slightly less enthusiastic about killing people.
That's it.
That he would be an impediment to their exercising power.
And boy, they went after him in a way I've just kind of never seen.
Which I think happens every day in Washington, I just don't have advantage on it because I'm far, far away and grateful to be.
And again, I was just reminded that this process is so ugly that normal people do not want to participate in it, and yet normal people have to suck it up and do so anyway because the consequences are just so profound and so very serious.
So I appreciate Tucker's, you know, characterization of J.D.
Vance's nomination and what, you know, establishment D.C.
thinks of him.
So maybe he is kind of an outsider, but it's interesting to look back on some of his words.
Let's go back and kind of listen to what J.D.
Vance sounded like back in 2016.
Now, I know people can change.
I myself changed at one point.
I was a moron.
I was a complete idiot.
I voted for Obama twice.
I was a dumb college kid who thought I knew everything and thought I knew, you know, everything about everything.
I was probably the quintessential idiot that you could ever have ever imagined to have met, right?
But then God changed me.
Then I saw the light.
I found Jesus again.
I was born again.
I realized that the error in my way and I corrected the course.
You know, thanks in part to what I saw happening in this country when Donald Trump started running for office and the veil was pierced and I saw through to the other side.
I broke out of the control matrix.
I broke out of the satanic indoctrination and programming.
Now, I wasn't like...
you know, doing evil, evil things, even though, you know, I wasn't necessarily a saint.
I mean, I was just one of those people who just was lost.
I mean, I'm sure we all listening here know people who are that way.
People who are lost, people who have, you know, family members who are still just in this control matrix who can't break out of it.
People who still believe the fake news, right?
Who believe these lies that are, you know, promulgated and told on a regular basis.
But it was when I broke through that, that I realized, man, I was wrong.
And I, in humility, had to humble myself and say, I was wrong.
And that's why I don't try to hide it.
That's why I don't try to pretend like it never happened, because it did happen.
I was lost.
It's like a song, Amazing Grace, in regard to my faith, really, which is what, you know, has brought me to where I am today.
I was lost and now I'm found.
I was blind and now I see.
And it was God's amazing grace that allowed me to do that.
And in that, I'm thankful.
I get up every day and look up and say, thank you, God, even when the haters come, right?
Even when people want to, you know, lash out and ridicule.
And trust me, you know, people on the radio, I get these listeners sometimes, occasionally, from time to time, who want to yell at me and call me names and accuse me of being a moron and evil and, you know, whatever the case may be.
And I'm like, all right.
Have you ever had your face on the front page of the New York Times with a hit piece writing about you and how, you know, you're an evil person?
I have.
Have you ever, you know, had the largest, one of the largest corporations in the world specifically target you for censorship and deletion and persecution?
I have.
You ever lost your whole, practically your whole career and income overnight because you refused to, you know, speak a lie about the things that they wanted you to lie about?
I have.
You ever, you know, I've done a lot of things, folks.
I've seen a lot.
I've had a lot happen.
And I'll tell you this, the one thing I learned through all of it, I'd go on.
There's many other things I've done.
I'm not trying to ring off a list of my accomplishments because I wear it as a badge of honor that I suffered such persecution through my faith in Jesus Christ and my reluctance to adhere to the cultural cult and programming that they wanted me to, to, to put forth.
They wanted me to, to promote and, and continue a system of control that I wasn't going to be a part of.
And for that, I was persecuted For that, I was hated.
For that, I was targeted.
For that, I was harassed.
I mean, I've had a documentary not too long ago on HBO, which I spent three years making, by the way, and it was a six-part series, which, when it was airing, because it aired over a period of six weeks, I was receiving death threats every day.
I mean like literal death threats.
People were saying they were going to murder me and my family.
So, if you think that one person saying something is going to bother me, it doesn't.
Okay?
But, the point I'm making is that When I made that transformation, the easier thing for me to do, or to have done at that point, would have been to go back.
Right?
To back down.
To say, you know, I don't actually believe these things I'm saying.
I actually believe something else, but I didn't.
I called on the name of God.
I called on the name of Jesus.
I asked Him for strength, and He gave me strength and abundance so that I could overcome it.
I don't know.
We'll listen to what J.D.
Vance said back in 2016 because it's very interesting, his background.
But we'll talk about that when we come back.
Plus, we're going to play that sermon from Pastor Dean Miller over there at Front Range Baptist.
So stay tuned.
We're coming back after the break.
Before hiring a realtor from a big corporation who outsources their jobs and pays little to no taxes, ask yourself, what do you really want in a realtor?
You need a realtor who is honest and has integrity.
A realtor who is focused on the client's bottom line, not the realtor's bottom line.
Who provides personable, over-the-top service before, during, and after the transaction.

Welcome back to This Forum Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
And like I said, we're going to be looking at what J.D.
Vance said previously, which I think is interesting.
Just to give you an idea, let's listen to that real quick.
J.D.
Vance, in his own words.
I'm a never Trump guy.
I never liked him.
As somebody who doesn't like Trump, I might have to hold my nose and vote for Hillary Clinton.
I didn't vote for Trump because I can't stomach Trump.
I think that he's obnoxious, him being really outrageous and offensive.
On Twitter, Vance called Trump, quote, reprehensible, an idiot, and Vance loves Mitt Romney.
I'm a never Trump guy.
That's the real J.D.
Vance.
Uh, so of course a lot of this stuff was all said back in 2016, and there are a lot of people who have since then, you know, gone from hating Trump to loving Trump for a number of reasons, so I'm not saying people can't change.
I'm just saying that we should all be very skeptical To be quite honest about what J.D.
Vance brings to the table.
Now, maybe he is America first.
Maybe everybody in the establishment D.C.
hates him because he's not on, you know, whatever side that they want him to be on.
And that could all be true.
Of course, again, that was eight years ago.
So a lot of things can change in eight years.
I personally can attest to that, given what I told you about my testimony earlier in the show.
So I don't want to sit here and say that what he said eight years ago is indicative of what he believes today, because we do change over time.
But I'm going to be very cautiously skeptical of JD Vance, just like I was with Mike Pence.
I never really trusted him.
He always struck me as being an establishment guy, and that's what Vance strikes me as as well.
You know, Trump obviously understands, I think, politics better now.
So maybe he knows something I don't about, you know, what you have to do to get a seat at the table.
And maybe that's what Vance is all what that what's that.
That's what Vance brings to the tables is a seat at the table.
So maybe that'll be something that we see unfold in a way that's positive for our nation.
I can only hope.
But if you look at his wife and her history and his company and who he's associated with, he's associated with the gay community.
Finance year, Peter Thiel, who's got all the money, who's, you know, one of the, playing a lot of, you know, games with the Republicans right now in his donations.
And he was the one who gave J.D.
Vance his job and his start and funded his little, you know, equity firm, I think it was.
And, you know, that equity firm then went on to invest in mRNA vaccine technology.
So it's like, you gotta really be skeptical, not only that, J.D.
Vance is a Yale Law graduate, and we know that if you're, you know, going to these Ivy League law schools, that there's a high probability that you're in the club that they tell us we're not in.
You know what I mean?
And that's something we always should be skeptical of and very, um...
you know, very skeptical of.
But again, Trump does have a tendency to play the 4-D chess, which, you know, we'll see how that all plays out and works out maybe this time.
He's, again, knows something we don't.
But I would just say to keep – I'm going to keep J.D.
Vance at arm's length.
I'm not going to embrace him fully because I just don't, I don't see it.
But that's pretty much it for today.
I want to go and play you guys the sermon from this Sunday from Archbaptist Pastor Dean Miller, his sermon on Colossians, a very powerful one that I'm going to play here because this is what we do.
We share the gospel.
Let's, let's go ahead and listen.
...idea is focused.
We want to be laser focused on Christ.
In our theme verse from the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 4.18, For we look not at the things which are seen, But at the things which are not seen.
For the things which are seen are temporal.
The things that are not seen are eternal.
And I just had in my heart knowing that going through this year, especially in America, when we come to election years, who knows what they're going to throw at us as an American people.
And we better be focused on the Lord Jesus Christ.
We better have a laser focus that we are not here.
We are pilgrims.
This world is not our home.
We're just a passing through.
And we better be living for eternity, and we better be focused on the Lord.
And so I've been preaching some messages throughout this year on the exchange life.
Listen, this has been a lost thing in Christianity.
We have come to a place where we feel like we can structure and legislate how to live a Christian life.
Look at me.
When Jesus died on the cross of Calvary, He was giving Himself for you.
But when Jesus rose from the dead, He was giving Himself to you, so that He could live His life through you.
Now, I want to tell you today, church, listen, there's only one person who has ever lived the Christian life.
And if I'm going to live it, and you're going to live it, it's going to require Him to live it in you.
I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.
And I want to tell you, we have gotten away from what we call the Christ life.
The Christian life is the Christ life.
We've learned to live a life in our own power, in our own understanding.
That was the problem facing the Church of Colossae.
I cannot think of a better epistle for us to go into and study as a church.
Then the book of Colossians now.
The Lord has led us to this and we're going to look at staying focused on the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Church of Colossae was an interesting church.
This letter to the Church of Colossae was written by the Apostle Paul.
It was inspired by the Holy Spirit of God and it was written from prison to this Church of Colossae.
Now listen carefully.
How do we know about this church at Colossae?
In fact, we would have never even heard anything about the place Colossae had it not been for a church that was in it.
Paul never went to the church of Colossae.
He had never been to that place.
Colossae was a city about 100 miles away from Ephesus.
And it sat in a valley right on a main principal highway, kind of like Route 66 or I-25.
It sat right on a main thoroughfare connecting the east to the west.
And it was a kind of a tri-city area.
You had Colossae, you had the city of Laodicea, and you had the city of Hierapolis.
These three cities were all together.
Now, Colossae, in the beginning, they thought was going to be this massive metropolitan area, thus the name Colossae.
They thought it was going to be a colossal city, but it never became that.
It always kind of stayed as a small, more rural area.
And it was kind of a conundrum of why Colossae never boomed in its population.
All right, so I'm going to continue this when we come back.
You're listening to Pastor Dean Miller from Front Range Baptist Church.
Stay tuned.
You're listening to Just Form Talk Radio.
We'll be back.
We'll be back.

What it is ain't exactly clear.
There's a man with a gun over there.
Telling me I got to beware.
I think it's time we stop.
Children, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's going down Welcome back to S.W.O.M. Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
We're going to go right back to our sermon from Pastor Dean Miller.
Listen to this.
And it's wealth.
There were many things that were happening in Colossae.
It was a great, it was a key place in trade.
But listen to me.
We know about Colossae simply because the most colossal thing that was going on in Colossae was the New Testament church.
And I want to tell you the most important thing going on in this city is what God is doing through His Church.
The only thing, listen, there are a lot of things that happen.
There's a lot of manufacturing.
There's a lot of things that gets done in the city of Fort Collins.
But I want to tell you the most important thing in this city is the work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And so we heard about Colossae because Paul was writing to this church, and a church that he had never visited.
He said, how do you know that?
Look down at verse number 4 of chapter 1.
Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus.
Look at verse 9.
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you.
Look over at chapter 2 in verse 1.
For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you and for them at Laodicea and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh.
So Paul's writing to people he's never met personally.
He's writing to people he's never been to or seen.
Paul never visited Colossae on his trip of his missionary journeys.
How in the world did there become a church at Colossae?
Well, the Bible says in Acts chapter 19 and verse number 10, that Paul had been at Ephesus and he was at Ephesus for three years.
And while Paul was ministering in Ephesus and doing a great work, one of the great works of God in that city of Ephesus, you have to remember this is in Asia Minor.
Today, modern day Turkey.
Paul is in Ephesus.
He's come there from Corinth.
He came to Ephesus.
God did a great work.
He had to leave to go to Jerusalem.
He left Aquila and Priscilla, that cute couple there, to do some work.
And great things were happening in Ephesus.
Paul came back, had three years of vibrant ministry in that place.
I mean, God did some mighty things there.
And there are a few people, the Bible says that through that church and through that work of Paul in Ephesus, Acts chapter 19 and verse number 10 says this, So that all they that dwell in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.
Did you hear what the Bible says?
So that the word of the Lord went out and that all that dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord.
There was such a great work going on in Ephesus that it filled Asia with the Gospel.
Two principal men were saved in Paul's ministry in Ephesus.
One was a man by the name of Philemon.
The other was a man named Epaphras.
Now I'm going to call him, some people call him Apaphras.
I'm going to call him Epaphras because that's just what I've always said.
Epaphras, and I may call it the other way so that you know who we're talking about, but Epaphras or Apaphras, he got saved there.
And he and Philemon were both from Colossae.
And they did not linger around for a long time to stay under Paul's ministry in Ephesus.
After they got saved and baptized, after they had been grounded in the gospel, they took off for home and they wanted to go back and tell their hometown about Jesus Christ.
Now listen, that's always one of the great indications and evidences of salvation.
When you get born again, you gotta tell people.
I'm always worried about these secret service Christians.
Alright, we're hitting our final break of this hour.
We're going to come back in the second hour.
We're going to play the rest of this sermon on Colossians.
It's an amazing one.
You're going to want to stay tuned.

Oftentimes, the wheelchairs our veterans and first responders receive from their health care providers are subpar at best.
Some are falling apart with a years-long waiting list for a new one.
This lag causes a tremendous amount of stress for our heroes and creates a burden for their caregivers.
Isolation leads to depression.
We build what they need to get outdoors, hunting, fishing, or playing sports.

In John 6, verse 40, he says, For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in Him should have eternal life.
And I will raise him up on the last day.
God does have a plan, and at the root of it is His desire to have a deeper relationship with each one of us.

All right, so as always, you know, I like to play the sermons from my pastor, Dean Miller, every Monday, but we didn't play it yesterday because of obvious events we had the news to cover.
We're going to get back to that sermon in just a minute.
I want to mention one other story here.
We had the story that now it's coming out that they had 30 minutes of prior knowledge that this kid had a ladder and was able to climb up on the roof.
And people will say, well, what do you think happened?
I think it was an intentional failure that was orchestrated and allowed to happen.
They just allowed it to happen, and that is the CIA.
I mean, look at every assassination attempt, whether it was Sirhan Sirhan or Lee Harvey Oswald or everyone else in between.
I mean, these are cutouts that are used to pull off these assassinations.
This kid would have gone down as just another radical left-wing lunatic, and he was obviously being used as a patsy to do the dirty work of a deep state that needed the plausible deniability, and so that's what I think about the whole thing, but you're welcome to believe whatever you like.
I'm not going to tell you what to believe, but let's go back to Pastor Miller and his sermon on Colossians.
They're in the Secret Service.
I heard about a little boy one time, had a little dog, and somebody said, hey, what kind of dog is that?
He said, it's a police dog.
He said, he doesn't look like a police dog.
What branch of police is he in?
He said, he's in the Secret Service.
Now listen, I think that's where a lot of Christians are.
We are in the Secret Service.
A lot of Christians who claim to be saved, but they've never told anybody or shared their faith or given the Gospel to anybody else, And I want to tell you, I worry about a person who can have faith in Jesus Christ and know Jesus Christ and not want to tell anybody else about Jesus Christ.
But Epaphus and Philemon have both come back to Colossae and this is a beautiful thing.
They're winning people to the Lord and Philemon opens his home and begins a church in his home in the city of Colossae.
Now how do we know that?
Paul was writing the book of Colossians from prison.
Paul, while he was in prison, another man was put into prison with him.
A man by the name of Onesimus.
Onesimus was arrested because he was a debtor.
He owed a debt and he was what they called a bond slave.
If you got in debt to somebody and you couldn't pay it back, you either went to prison or you had to go to work for that guy and work your debt off.
Well, Onesimus was working his debt off for a man by the name of Philemon.
But Onesimus didn't want to work that debt off, so he ran away from home.
He got captured as a breach of contract, as a runaway.
He got captured and put into prison.
He gets in prison with Paul.
Paul said, hey, what you in for?
And Onesimus tells him that he ran away from his master.
And Paul said, well, where'd you run away from?
He said, I ran away from Colossae.
He said, oh really?
I got some friends in Colossae.
Who'd you run away from?
He said, a guy named Philemon.
And Paul said, well, that's my friend.
And Paul began to tell Onesimus about Jesus.
Paul said, now Onesimus, you can be a prisoner in this jail with me, but you can be set free through Jesus Christ.
He preached the gospel to Onesimus.
Onesimus got saved.
So Paul wrote a letter to Philemon and said, hey friend, your friend Paul is writing to you.
I met a buddy of ours.
You might remember him.
His name is Onesimus.
And Onesimus has made a messimus of his life, but he's been saved!
And now Onesimus, who made a messimus, is now one of us.
Amen!
And he said he's saved and he's coming back home.
And Paul said, here's what I want you to do.
When he gets back at home, don't you dare receive him back as a slave.
You receive him as a brother.
Don't you put him in the slave quarter.
You put him in my bedroom that you've made for me.
Don't you dare charge anything to his account.
If he owes you anything, you put it to my account and I'll pay it up.
Let me tell you something.
You don't get a better picture of what Jesus Christ did for us.
He came to us when we were in chains.
He gave us the Gospel.
He set us free.
And He has given us documents to go to the Father and say to the Father, I am not worthy to be called your son.
Just make me a hired servant.
But Jesus said, no, you're not a servant.
You're now a son.
You're accepted in the beloved.
And whatever is on your account is now on Christ's account.
And you get to go heaven.
You're not going to go to heaven and live in the slave quarters.
You don't have to go to some purgatory and pay for your sin.
Let me tell you something, friend.
Jesus paid it all and he sent you home with the record of your salvation.
Amen and amen.
So there was this great church going on in Colossae and Philemon and Epaphras were a part of that and Onesimus was in there.
And so there were some great things that were happening.
And by the way, this is the plan of God.
God's plan has always been for churches like Ephesus to start other churches.
Let me tell you, it's God's plan for this church to send people out and to spread the Gospel.
We pray that God will give us men and young ladies that will want to go to the mission field and go out, that we can get behind and send them to go do the work of the Gospel all around the world.
We need to start churches all over Colorado.
Colorado needs to be reseated with pulpits that will preach the Word of God.
And so, that's what they were doing all through Asia.
So this church was about five years old when Paul wrote to them, and it was a church of both Jews and Gentiles, primarily Gentiles.
Now I want you to pay attention because I'm just laying a foundation of the book of Colossians, and then we're going to go somewhere today.
But why did Paul write this letter?
What was the reason for writing this letter?
This church was in danger.
And why this book is so relevant to where we are today is the American church is in the same place of danger that the Church of Colossae was in.
The Church of Colossae was in danger.
Of losing its purity of doctrine because of false teachers and because of dangerous philosophies.
East was meeting West.
They were converging in this little place.
And mingled in to the gospel was all kinds of things that were decaying to the gospel and defiling to the gospel.
Like what things?
Well, first of all, you had in the Church of Colossae, you had a group of Jewish believers who had believed in Jesus Christ, but they were what we call Jewish legalists.
They believed that you had to hold to the Old Testament law of Moses in order to go on with Christ.
Christ was a starting point.
You got saved.
You needed to receive Christ, but you also needed circumcision.
You also needed to go on and obey the dietary laws of Moses.
You still needed to observe the Holy Days, and the Sabbath Days, and the Feast Days, and so forth.
And so these were people who felt as though Christ was a good beginning, but really, you had to, if you wanted to achieve spiritual perfection... Hello everybody in Northern Colorado!
You're all looking good, I knew you would!
Keep listening to AM 1360, the roar of the Rockies, the best station ever.
A lot of radio stations can boast about having two, three, even 500,000 listeners.
But what they don't tell you is that their average listener only listens for 4 minutes.
And if they're listening to music, they're constantly changing the channel.
Same old boring commentary.
Or as soon as a commercial starts playing, they change the station.
Here at 1360KHNC, our listeners listen longer.
A lot longer.
We have some of the longest continuous listener minutes in the industry.
That means our listeners don't change the dial as soon as a commercial starts playing.
Because they don't want to miss one second of their favorite programs.

Welcome back to Just Form Talk Radio.
We're going to go back to Pastor Dean Miller from Front Range Baptist Church and his sermon on Colossians.
Perfection, you're going to have to do that through adherence to the law.
Now you listen to me very carefully.
Anything that you add to Jesus Christ is a subtraction.
There is nothing to be added to Christ.
It is not Christ plus the holiness of the law.
You cannot legislate yourself to holiness.
You cannot write laws in order to fulfill rules and laws to make yourself more righteous.
Let me tell you, this is a blatant problem in churches today.
We want to legislate to people what they have to do in addition to Christ.
Now let me just tell you, There is no way that you can write a law that will make people holy.
If laws made people better, we wouldn't have a drug problem in this country.
If laws made people better, we wouldn't have drunk driving issues in this country.
Do we have laws against drug use?
Not many in Colorado, but yeah, we're supposed to.
Most sane states do.
Do we have laws against drunk driving?
Yes, we do.
But do people still get high and still sell drugs and still shoot and kill and still to get them?
And do people still drive drunk and kill innocent people on the highway?
Yes, they do.
Why is that?
Because the law was not there to make a man good.
The law was there to punish a man who did bad.
So the law will never make you good.
You know who makes you good?
We are made the righteous of God by Jesus Christ.
Christ comes in and gives us a newness of life, a new principle of life, and when He lives His life in us, it's a life of holiness.
Listen to me very carefully, church.
Don't ever forget this.
Holiness is not the way to Jesus.
Jesus is the way to holiness.
So, you had Jewish legalism.
But you also had Eastern mysticism.
This Eastern mysticism had come from the East, had brought the belief that such things as strict diet and discipline, if you could just keep your body under subjection and you could just discipline yourself and And maybe get to know some of the arts and the martial arts or whatever they called them in those days.
If you could just get to these disciplines of meditation and strong mind control that you could control your body and reach a plane of spiritual perfection.
And so they obviously came in and said, wow, we can use Jesus as part of this.
And He can help us in the development of all of these things.
But wait a minute, listen to me.
Jesus doesn't want just a place in your life.
He wants all of it.
Amen?
Everybody awake this morning?
Okay, just checking.
So, these people began to follow these strict adherences, that you had to keep your body and follow these strong disciplines.
Look at chapter, in fact, we'll go into this in greater detail, but I want you to look over it.
Uh, chapter 2 and verse 23.
We'll look at verse 21 for just a minute.
Here was some of this Eastern mysticism that was coming in.
And here's what they, and by the way, mingled in with the Jewish tradition as well.
Watch what they said.
Touch not, taste not, handle not.
"...which are all to perish with the using after the commandments and doctrines of men, which things have indeed a show of wisdom in will-worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body, not in any honor to the satisfying of the flesh." Here's what was happening.
In Colossae, you had people who were really trying their hardest to live a spiritual life.
And they were just, if you could just will Will your way to goodness.
Will your way to righteousness.
Just say no to the wrong things.
Make yourself say yes to the right things.
And discipline your will.
But here's the problem.
When you live a life out of the discipline of the will, you worship the will.
If your goodness comes from how good you are, then you are the one that is good and you're following you.
And listen, anything that's built on anything other than Jesus Christ is nothing.
And so, this church was in a mess.
Then you add into it what was known at the time as Gnosticism.
Gnosticism comes from a Greek word called gnosis, which means to know.
Somebody who was in a quest for knowledge, a Gnostic, they wanted to know.
The antithesis of that is the agnostic.
The agnostic is one who says, we don't know.
So somebody today, if they were honest as an agnostic, they would say, I don't know if there is a God or a greater being, I don't know.
The problem is, is most agnostics are not honest agnostics.
It's not that they don't know, it's that they don't want to know.
It's like the reason why a thief can't find a policeman.
He doesn't want to find him.
And so, an agnostic is one who doesn't want to know.
Coincidentally, we get the word agnostic from the same word we get our word ignoramus from, by the way.
But that's another message.
But here's one.
These men were after the quest of Gnosticism to know.
Now let me tell you what Gnosticism was based on.
It was based on a fundamental principle Their belief was founded on the principle that how could God be good and holy and allow a world filled with sin and wickedness?
In other words, how could God and evil coexist?
By the way, that's still a great question of the ages today.
Many people will not believe in God because of the presence of evil.
And we're going to cover that in this book in great detail, and we're going to find out how God is holy and just and true, and yet there is the reality of sin and evil and wickedness.
What we saw yesterday was a display of evil.
It was an open display of absolute evil in the world.
And evil is at work in the world, and so is God.
But wait a minute, how can these two things jive?
So what the Gnostics did, is they came to an understanding of this.
They said, okay, what it is, is that God started all of this, but as things perpetually got evil, God will have nothing to do with evil, so God is away from evil, and so God has sent He has sent forms of Himself, not Himself, but He sent forms of Himself in angels and other beings and other emissaries that are representative of God.
Because God will have nothing to do with evil because all matter is evil.
Everything that is of the material world, including your own body, that it's all evil.
The members of our body are evil.
Everything in the flesh is evil.
Every matter is evil.
Everything is evil.
So God will have nothing to do with the planet.
So He just sends proxies.
He sends emissaries on His behalf.
Jesus just happened to be one of those.
He is not God.
He's just somebody who came To tell us about God, because God has nothing to do with matter, because all matter is evil.
And so, these people were thinking then, That if all matter is evil, then we have to have certain ceremonies, we have to have certain rituals, we have to have certain things that we must do in order to find spiritual fullness.
And through Gnosticism, two groups really sprang up.
Group number one stated, all matter is evil.
So to be free from the evil, you have to live a strict disciplined life, even denying everything about yourself.
You have to come to a strict thing where you just deny everything of yourself, because everything is evil.
The other group said, well if everything of us is evil, and everything in the world is evil, then everything we do is evil, so it's okay if we partake in sin.
So think about this for just a minute.
Jewish legalism, Eastern mysticism, And we'll see it later.
I mean, Eastern mysticism came in with all this idea of meditation and transcendental meditation, astrology, horoscopes, the stars hold our fortunes and our future.
All of this stuff came through this Eastern mysticism, was coming into the church, coupled with Jewish legalism, coupled with Gnosticism.
Both strict adherence and license to do whatever you want.
Now think about what happened in the church.
The church just became an algamation of Jesus and the law and mysticism and all the rest of it.
And so this church is now a place where all truth is algamated into a one-size-kind-of-fits-all and just follow your own heart.
Have you not seen in the modern day church the same pattern?
The same pattern in the modern day church is this, that we have crept in with emotionalism.
We have replaced theology with psychology.
There is no longer preaching against sin.
The greatest sin in our culture is sadness.
God wants you to be happy.
You should do whatever you need to be happy.
We want to have our services that whip us up into an emotional work and so that we can all just be happy and feel good and follow your feelings and you need to have a feeling and you know you didn't hear from God unless you had some kind of liver shiver and God goosebumps or whatever they call them today and everybody's looking out for all these mystical things in the world today and it's all it's all in this idea that Jesus is a good starting point but you need something more
By the way, this is how you always find false teachers.
False teachers are never out looking for their own converts.
They never win their own people, they never build their own work.
Where false teachers do, they come into places like this, where we've presented people with the gospel, people have come to Christ, They've been saved.
They've been baptized.
They've been discipled.
They're growing in the Lord.
They come in among us, and they always say, you know, I love Jesus, too.
But have you tried this meditation?
Have you ever spoke in this tongue?
Have you ever had this experience?
Have you ever tried?
And there's all these other things, addition and additions.
I know you know Jesus, but have you ever prayed to this saint?
I know you know Jesus, but have you ever talked to his mother?
I know you know Jesus, but there's way more than just him.
And the Apostle Paul came in and said, No, no, no.
We are complete in Jesus.
He is in all, of all, through all.
It is all Him and nothing else.
In fact, look at what Paul said.
I want you to see it in your Bible.
Verse number 21.
The Bible says, Speaking of Jesus, And you who were sometimes alienated enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now have he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death to present you holy and unblameable and unreprovable in his sight.
If you continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven, whereof I, Paul, am made minister.
And notice verse number 26.
He says, Even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, and now is made manifest to his saints, to whom God would make known what is the riches of his glory in this mystery among you Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Listen, we are complete in Jesus Christ.
You cannot go beyond Him.
You cannot go under Him.
You cannot go above Him.
You cannot get around Him.
Christ is the height and the depth and the breadth and the length of the Lord Jesus Christ, of the Christian life.
It's all Jesus and nothing else.
Years ago, in one of my ministries, and I won't tell you which, I've had two, but I won't tell you which.
Years ago, I had a man who left the ministry and he told me this.
He said, he said, I've listened to you now for a year.
I've watched what you're doing and your leadership.
And he said, I want you to understand that I believe you're shallow.
And that there's a deeper life and deeper things.
And he said, you're just all about Jesus and you don't get to the deeper things.
And he said, and I predict in five years, if you continue your track in ministry, all this church is going to have is Jesus.
And I said, amen.
Because you can't, you talk about a deeper life, man.
Jesus is so shallow, the youngest child can come and drink of his love without fear of drowning.
But he is so deep, the deepest theologians can search his depths and never reach bottom.
Son, he is unsearchable.
He is unfindable.
His ways pass finding out.
You can't get deeper than Jesus.
You can't get higher than Jesus.
You can't go beyond Jesus.
You can't get wider than Jesus.
He is all in all through all.
It is all him.
And if this church is all about Jesus, then praise God, get in it.
Thank you.
Thank you.
We want to be about Jesus.
And by the way, I just want to say to you, He is the pastor of this church.
I'm just a growing Christian.
I'm a sinner from the top of my head to the bottom of my foot.
I am a believer who got saved and born again, and I got the gift of salvation, and with it, He gave me gifts.
He gave me the gifts of teaching and preaching and exhortation and God has given me a place in his body to exercise those gifts as I'm doing today, but we are one body Fitly joined together and every joint is supplying what the body needs.
You're a member.
I'm a member.
You're a part I'm a part you have a function I have a function and all of it takes the Spirit of God and the unction of God to function in the body of Christ But let me tell you something there is one head and it is not me and it is not you and it's not the board and it's not anybody else our head is Jesus We'll be right back.
Stay tuned.

Welcome back to Just Form Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
We're going to go right back to that sermon.
Pastor Dean Miller from Front Range Baptist Church in Fort Collins, Colorado, giving a sermon on Colossians.
Listen to this.
And I want to tell you something.
It is Him and Him alone that we follow.
These people come and say, Jesus is a good start.
But you can go further.
Anybody that ever comes to you and tells you, well, have you ever done this in addition to being saved?
Let me tell you something, friend.
You better mark them.
They're not looking.
They're not looking.
To win new people.
They're trying to make converts to a false doctrine.
And before long... See, let me just tell you what was happening at the Church of Colossae and what's happening in churches of America.
They were not denying Jesus.
Everybody listening?
They were not denying Christ.
They were dethroning Him.
They didn't deny Him.
They said, Oh, we love Him.
He's just a part.
I was speaking in camp this week and I met a young man.
I won't tell you anything about him other than he came from an Eastern religion, worshiping idols.
First time in America, first time to a Christian camp.
He heard me preach on the cross.
He came weeping after the service, wanting to add Jesus to all of his idols in his life.
And he thinks that Jesus would be the one that could get him over to be complete.
And I said, no, listen to me.
He is the way, the truth, the life.
No man comes to the Father but by Him.
Jesus will not share your heart with idols.
You have to turn to God from idols.
You have to deny those idols.
You do not bring your gods before Him.
It is Jesus plus nothing.
And He went away from me very heavy.
For two days we talked about it.
I prayed with him, went through the gospel with him, spent time with him.
I got a text from him last night.
I got saved.
I was suspicious and I said, what do you mean you got saved?
Tell me about it.
He said, I have turned to Jesus Christ completely as my Lord and Savior.
And I am forgiven and I want a relationship with Him.
Somebody say amen about that.
Listen, Jesus is all in all.
We don't add Him to what we have.
He is what we have.
He's all, we sing that song, He's all I need.
He's all I need.
Christ is all I need.
But I think the real question that needed to be asked at Colossae was this.
Is He all you want?
Christ is all you need, but is He all you want?
And so Paul, It's going to bring them back into the true doctrine of Christ.
Let me show you three things, and then we're going home.
Watch it.
And this is the conclusion, and this is not long, so listen to me.
Look at chapter 1, verse 1.
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God and Timotheus, our brother, to the saints and faithful Brethren in Christ.
He was writing to all the saints and to the faithful brethren.
He was going to encourage these faithful brethren to stay faithful in the Lord.
Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you.
Since we heard of your... What's the next word, church?
Since we heard of your... Say it out loud.
Since we heard of your faith.
Faith in who?
Christ Jesus, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the, what's the next word?
Love, which you have to who?
All the saints.
For the, what's the next word?
hope which is laid up for you in heaven whereof ye heard before in the word of truth of the gospel which is coming to you as it is in all the world and bringing forth fruit as it does also in you since the day ye heard of it and knew the grace of God in truth.
And if you know anything about the apostle Paul, he loved to write long sentences.
We haven't even finished the first sentence.
But we're going to stop right here in the middle of the sentence and we're going to look at what Paul was saying to this church.
Paul, I've given you a preview of the whole book.
They didn't know what was coming.
Paul was going to deal with their Eastern mysticism.
He was going to deal with their Jewish legalism.
He was going to deal with all this algamation of this stuff that had happened in their church.
The syncretism of adding it all together.
All of the legalism, the license, the mysticism, the astrology, the humanism, all mixed in with the gospel.
And listen, anything you mix in with the gospel defiles the gospel and it is poison to the soul.
And Paul's going to deal with that in Colossae.
Now, they don't know what's coming.
We know what's coming.
And so Paul started off, and he was leading to his foundation.
And Paul was going to say, if I'm going to get you focused on the Lord Jesus Christ, and keep Him as preeminent, and Him as the completer, and everything is about Christ.
If we're going to do that, then you better know three things.
Number one, faith in Christ Jesus.
Faith in Christ Jesus.
The whole Christian life is all built on faith.
And I want to say this, that faith is a spiritual grace.
It's a spiritual gift that comes from the hearing of the Word of Truth.
Look at it again in verse 6, which is coming to you as it is in all the world that bringeth forth fruit.
Since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth.
Well, where do they hear this gospel?
Verse 5.
Which ye heard before in the word of truth in the gospel.
Now listen to me carefully.
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
A man does not possess saving faith until that man is presented with the Word of Truth.
When the Gospel is presented to him, it sparks a spark of faith.
Faith then placed into Jesus Christ.
Oh, however small that faith may be.
The size of a mustard seed.
It is not the amount of faith.
It's the object of faith.
It's not that you just believe to believe.
It's that you believe in Christ.
When you take faith and you place it into Christ, that is saving faith.
Now, when Paul was writing, there was a whole bunch of people in churches today that just believed, Well, you know, God is the one that's sovereign.
He's in control.
And amen and amen.
So God will do the choosing of who gets saved and who doesn't get saved.
Well, God already did the choosing.
The Bible tells us very clearly that God so loved the world.
God said, whosoever will may come.
The Bible says that the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.
The Bible also says that God, who would, that all the world, Would be saved.
God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
So God has already told us who He wants to be saved.
You know who He wants to be saved?
You and me!
But in the writing of God's sovereignty and His sovereign plan and how God's sovereignty meshes with man's free will.
Somebody said, how do you reconcile God's sovereignty and man's free will?
Best friends need not to be reconciled.
You can think about that later today.
But God, in His sovereignty, gave man that will.
Now listen, but a man's will is dead.
He's dead in his trespasses and sin.
A man cannot will himself to go to God.
We don't go seek God.
God came to seek us.
God, in the book of Genesis, when man became a sinner, God came into that garden, Adam, Where art thou?
The first thing that God did when man sinned was he came on a search and rescue.
He came looking for him, and he shed the blood of a lamb, and he clothed them in its garments, setting forth the pre-picture of substitutionary death and the substitutionary life of one who has made a sacrifice.
That's why he said to the woman, and the seed of woman will be come forth and will bruise his heel.
Somebody said, when did you find Jesus?
I said, He wasn't lost.
He found me.
And then we see in the book of John, God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.
And the Bible says of Jesus, the son of man came to seek and to save that which is lost.
He came seeking and saving that which is lost.
Somebody said, when did you find Jesus?
I said, he wasn't lost.
He found me.
Amen.
If you got saved, it wasn't because you found him.
You got saved because He found you.
Paul, when he was writing about all of this, he said, it's only through faith that a man can be saved.
They must believe.
And they said, okay, well, wait a minute, but the whole world doesn't know about it.
And Paul said, yes, how can they believe in Him in whom they have not heard?
And how can they hear, except they hear a preacher?
And how can they preach, except they be sent?
And Jesus said to His disciples, as my Father has sent me, even so send I you.
Go ye into all the world.
All right, so we're going to take a quick break.
Dead sinners, degenerate sinners, men dead in their trespasses and sins, are encountered with the word of truth.
A spark of faith is born.
And that faith placed into the finished work of Jesus Christ brings salvation.
All right.
So we're going to take a quick break.
This is Pastor Dean Miller of Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Just another incredible sermon.
Hope you guys stay tuned.
We're going to come back and we'll finish up that sermon.

Welcome back to Usformed Talk Radio.
I'm your host Craig James.
We're listening to Pastor Dean Miller from Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
And I just wanted to quickly read a text message.
Someone from the 720 says, this pastor is great.
I wish my pastor would speak like this.
Praise Jesus.
And I appreciate that.
That's a, that's a powerful thing.
And you know, that's why I, this is the church I attend.
Pastor Miller's great.
He's really on fire for Christ, but let's go back to his sermon on the book of Colossians.
Listen to this.
For by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves.
It is a gift of God, not of works as any man should boast.
We want to sit back and we want to parse out what did God, you know, what does God know and when did God know it?
When did God know who's going to get saved and how does God know?
And we try to get in the mind of God.
Paul had to drop his pen and say, who can know the mind of God and who gives counsel to the Lord?
Paul said, I'll tell you what I do.
I just do everything I do for the elect's sake.
I go everywhere preaching the Word of God and everywhere the Word of God is preached, it sparks a life, a germination of faith, and men, if they will place that faith in Christ, will be saved.
Now listen to me.
That means that Jesus will give you everything you need to be saved, but He will not believe for you.
He's given you everything you need to breathe.
He's given you air and He's given you lungs.
If you had lungs and no air, you'd die.
And if you had air and no lungs, you'd die.
But He has given you air and lungs, but you can smother if you want to.
When the Word of Truth goes out, it confronts men with who Christ is and who they are, and they must be saved.
Listen to me.
Our life in Christ is built on one thing, and that is faith.
And by the faith that we were saved, for by grace are you saved through faith, that same faith by which we're saved is the same faith by which we live.
1 Corinthians chapter 5 and verse number 7, for we walk by faith and not by sight.
1 Thessalonians chapter 1 and verse number 3, we not only are saved by faith, we walk by faith, and not only do we walk by faith, we work by faith.
1 Thessalonians chapter 1 verse 3, we work by faith.
Listen, this work that I'm doing today is not in my own power and my own energy.
I've spent time in God's Word.
I've spent time preparing and spending time with Him and getting a message of God from Him for you.
And I've spent time on my face with the Lord, praying and beseeching God to give me power and unction and wisdom and anointing and that God would give me strength to preach.
Listen, we do not preach in our own strength.
If we do, it falls short and it makes no impact in the heart.
It is only what is done for Christ.
Jesus said, for without Me, you can do nothing.
You can call it preaching, but if you don't do it with dependence and faith on me, it's nothing.
Listen, you know what we need?
We need some husbands and wives who are married by faith, and they depend on God to be what their partner needs them to be.
We need some parents who walk by faith, and they are what their children need them to be.
They're depending on God to be what their children need them to be.
We need a church that walks by faith, lives by faith, works by faith, and by the way, we're protected by faith.
Amen?
The shield of faith.
That quenches all the fiery darts of the devil.
You know how I'm not so perplexed by all that's going on in the world?
My heart is broken for this world, but I'm not one ounce worried or anxious.
You know why?
Because I'm walking behind the shield of faith, and Satan is launching fiery darts.
Whoop-poo!
Thus saith the Lord.
It is written!
And he can quench not just some, but all the fiery darts of the wicked if you walk by faith.
Amen.
You know why there's so many Christians who are burning with anxiety?
They're not in the Word of God.
They're not hiding behind the shield of faith.
Dependence on God.
Paul said, by faith.
The root of all of this is faith.
It started with Christ.
It's lived by Christ.
It's lived for Christ.
It's lived through Christ.
It's of Christ and in Him and of Him and by Him.
It's all Him!
We live by faith.
Don't you ever think that you can start in Christ and then be made perfect in your own strength?
It's all Him.
Number two, He says love.
Love for all the brethren.
Now why is love essential?
I'll tell you why.
It's an evidence of salvation.
Unsaved people are dead to God, but they are self-focused.
They're lovers of their selves.
They're despisers of that which is good and lovers of their selves.
Unsaved people are selfish and proud.
Amen?
We were when we were unsaved.
But when we got saved, there happened something to us that made us to love someone other than ourselves.
Believers are called upon to love all the saints.
Look at it again.
In verse number 4, Since today we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which you have to all saints.
This is the fruit of the Word of God.
It produces faith.
Now I'm saved.
But now that I'm saved, I'm in the family.
And now that I'm saved, I love, and I love those.
Listen.
Listen.
I'm saved and I love my Heavenly Father because He gave me life.
But if I love Him who begat, I also am gonna love those begotten of Him.
If I love my Father, I gotta love my brother.
And the Bible says that they loved all saints.
Not just the ones that look like them.
Not just the ones that talk like them.
But all saints.
Amen!
We're to love one another.
Let me tell you something.
One of the great things about Front Range Baptist Church, and the thing that I've been most concerned about going to two services with, I want to tell you something.
We have a family here, and it's a loving family, and we're not going to lose that.
I'll tell you why.
Because love in the Christian life is not just some surface love of emotion.
It is a Spirit-produced love of deep devotion.
Did you hear what I said?
Love in Christ is not a surface emotion.
Love through the Spirit of God is a deep devotion.
In this world, love is a noun.
It's a person.
It's a place.
It's a thing.
It's an idea.
It's a fuzzy feeling.
It's a feel-good.
Yeah, I love that.
I love you.
Yeah, okay.
Well, wait till they do you wrong and see if you feel the same way.
Love with God is not a noun.
Love with God is a verb.
A verb is a word that is action.
A verb is a word that is state of being.
A verb is a word that is a linking.
It joins together.
Listen, God so loved the world that He gave.
And so, we're to love one another with a deep devotion.
How do we get that?
Romans chapter 5 and verse 5, that when we got saved, the Spirit of God shed abroad the love of God into our hearts.
Hey husbands, don't you tell me that you can't love your wife even as Christ also loved the church.
If you have the Spirit of God in you, you have the love of Christ in you.
Don't tell me that you cannot love deeply and passionately and devotedly.
Yes, you can.
Why?
Because you have the love of Christ in you.
And if I love Him, I'm going to love what He loves.
That's why it's always worried me when I meet Christians who always say, you know, I believe in Jesus, but I just don't really have time for the church.
Well, that makes me wonder if you even love Jesus, because if you love Jesus, you're going to love what Jesus loves.
And Jesus loved the church and gave Himself for it.
And by the way, in the New Testament, you don't ever see Lone Ranger Christians.
It is always, it's never singular.
It's always the saints.
It's always we.
It's always us.
He refers to us as a flock.
He refers to us as an army.
He refers to us as a body with many members.
He refers to us as a building with many facets of a building, but one building.
Many soldiers, but one army.
Many members, but one body.
Many sheep, but one flock.

We are one in Jesus Christ.
Be of the same mind.
Be of the same heart.
Striving together for the faith of the gospel.
Let me tell you something.
You need to belong to a Bible preaching church.
You need people to love.
You need people that will love you.
You need to be able to live out the Christian life through the love of God.
Amen.
The fruit of the Spirit is love and joy and peace.
This love is a proof of a transformed life.
Look at Colossians 2, 2.
I'm almost done.
Watch this.
We gotta go.
Colossians 2, 2.
Notice what the Bible says.
Paul said, listen, I'm writing to people who've never seen my face in the flesh.
I've never seen them, but that their hearts might be comforted being knit together in love.
You see that?
I was on the plane yesterday and a little old lady sitting next to me reaches in her bag and she pulls out two giant spears.
Now, TSA took my nail clippers, but this lady had two knitting things.
She was knitting.
I said, what you knitting over there, sister?
She was over there.
I said, we hit some turbulence.
You better point those things.
Point down.
Afraid we hit some turbulence.
And I'd come to church with a patch over my eye.
She was knitting something.
She had the instructions on her lap.
She was knitting a prayer blanket.
And I just saw those little sharp things and she was taking those things and she was weaving them together.
And I was thinking about this verse, how the Holy Spirit took me and He took you in Christ and He has knitted our hearts together.
Taking two and making one.
Come on!
This is what it means to be a believer.
And Paul said, you're not going to get this because you can discipline yourself and meditate and all this mysticism.
Let me tell you something, all of that stuff divides.
Christ is a knitter.
Knit together in love.
And let me finish today.
What is the fruit of all of this?
What does Christ produce in us?
First of all, it's all the faith, it's love, and it is hope.
Look at verse number 5.
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven.
Where have you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel?
Now listen, you're gonna see the word hope throughout this passage of scripture and throughout the book of Colossians.
You're gonna see faith and love and hope reoccurring.
But let me just tell you, Americans, this hope in the Bible is not our hope in America.
It's not a hope-so.
It's not a wishful, positive thing.
Well, I hope it rains.
I hope it cools down.
I hope the pastor will finish on time.
I hope... Good, good wishing, my friend.
Hope.
You know what hope is in the Bible?
Hope in Christ is not wishful thinking.
It's not a hope-so.
It is a solid, confident assurance.
In other words, hope is the receipt that it is already done.
It is my record of transaction.
It is laid up for me in heaven.
Let me tell you something.
I am not walking around my Christian life on Jell-O.
I am walking on spiritual steel and concrete.
My hope is built in nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness.
All other ground is sinking sand.
On Christ the solid rock I stand.
Listen to me.
I am anchored on Christ.
I am steadfast and sure.
My anchor holds.
I am steadfast, unmovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord.
We have hope, solid assurance in Christ.
All right, that was Pastor Dean Miller.
If you want to check out his sermons, you can go find them over on Front Range Baptist Church's YouTube channel.
Also, we have our service up in Fort Collins at Front Range Baptist Church every Sunday at 9, 30, and 11.
We hope we see you guys down there.
I want to thank him for an amazing sermon again, and we'll continue playing them here because I believe that that's what's more important than anything is getting the gospel out there and amazing, amazing That's where I'm going to go ahead and leave it.
I have to say thank you guys.
Thanks to all the people who listen, all the audience out there, the texters.
We really do appreciate you guys and everybody who supports this show.
We hope we see you back here tomorrow.
I'll be back, God willing, same time, same place.
But I hope you guys have a wonderful day.
Go out and take this message and spread it to the nations.
We need to put the gospel ahead of all the things happening in this world.
That's what we need is great revival.
So, that's where I'm going to leave it.
I want to thank you all.
I'm your host, Craig James.
We'll see you tomorrow.
